- 0:01Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett. Well a day after healing
- 0:07Speaker 1: here on the one Leg Up network. I mean seeing
- 0:09Speaker 1: the twenty hostages that are living, and it should be
- 0:12Speaker 1: ninety seven hostages living today, but twenty hostages living that
- 0:16Speaker 1: were released by Hamas and as I posted on my Instagram,
- 0:20Speaker 1: this is the first time in eleven years, eleven years,
- 0:25Speaker 1: there are no living hostages left in Hamas captivity. That
- 0:33Speaker 1: is something else after having seven hundred and thirty eight
- 0:40Speaker 1: days no living hostages left in a Mosca captivity, that
- 0:44Speaker 1: is a big achievement. And yes, President Trump should get
- 0:49Speaker 1: the credit for negotiating that deal. However, a day later
- 0:56Speaker 1: after this emotional release, what I thought was going to
- 1:01Speaker 1: be coming down the pike is here. According to The
- 1:04Speaker 1: New York Post Today's Ronnie Reyes, Hamas has appeared to
- 1:09Speaker 1: reneg on key demands of Trump's ceasefire deal, which just
- 1:14Speaker 1: hours after the world celebrated the end of the Gaza War,
- 1:16Speaker 1: with the top officials saying the terror group will not
- 1:19Speaker 1: give up its arms or control over the Gaza strip.
- 1:24Speaker 1: If you thought hamasge is going to abide by a ceasefire,
- 1:27Speaker 1: let alone a deal, I have a bridge to say yes,
- 1:32Speaker 1: them releasing the hostages a big deal. That Trump getting
- 1:34Speaker 1: them to release the hostes. I think scaring them into
- 1:36Speaker 1: releasing the hostages is a big deal. But now they
- 1:44Speaker 1: go on to say there's no need to abide by
- 1:46Speaker 1: every word of Trump's twenty point piece plan, including calls
- 1:49Speaker 1: for the terror group to lay down its arms. We
- 1:52Speaker 1: do not elimit ourselves with the Israeli terms and definitions
- 1:55Speaker 1: related to weapons. So basically, basically this is why Israel
- 2:02Speaker 1: should be able to defend its homes, its territory, and
- 2:06Speaker 1: itself because Hamas will only agree to this for a
- 2:12Speaker 1: very little short time. And I do feel like yesterday
- 2:21Speaker 1: was healing, But I do not believe we have to
- 2:25Speaker 1: force Israel to let down its guard. Let me say
- 2:28Speaker 1: that again. We can say yesterday was healing. We can
- 2:34Speaker 1: be very very moved by the fact that there's no
- 2:43Speaker 1: living hostages hamoscopy captivity. But Israel must not be forced
- 2:51Speaker 1: to let its guard down when clearly Hamas has made
- 2:53Speaker 1: it known it's not letting down or letting up. And
- 3:02Speaker 1: so this and Trump has done his damn this year,
- 3:07Speaker 1: I think more than any other president has done, by
- 3:09Speaker 1: the way, to try and bring peace to the Middle East,
- 3:13Speaker 1: but Hamas will never want peace. The Free Palestine anti
- 3:18Speaker 1: Semites that were on the streets on October seventh have
- 3:22Speaker 1: been quiet, and actually some of them saying, well, basically,
- 3:26Speaker 1: what Hamasa, we can't we can't let up. And I
- 3:32Speaker 1: am talking with a very straight face because this is
- 3:34Speaker 1: a very serious thing to me. It's personal. I have
- 3:39Speaker 1: a cousin in Israel. But it's also personal because I
- 3:46Speaker 1: don't ever want to see Hamas be allowed to carry
- 3:50Speaker 1: out another October seventh. So a week after October seventh
- 3:55Speaker 1: and the Husta is released, here's where we're at. They
- 4:01Speaker 1: are now saying we will not be captive to Israel's
- 4:05Speaker 1: terms or demands. I have to highlight this because I
- 4:08Speaker 1: have to let you know, and I feel called to
- 4:13Speaker 1: let you know that when you tell Israel to stand
- 4:16Speaker 1: down and you tell them that in these rallies and protests,
- 4:20Speaker 1: you'll really tell them how to defend themselves, and the
- 4:22Speaker 1: Hamasha run the show. And that should not be the case.
- 4:25Speaker 1: So I implore once again that Paul Will, that's Saul
- 4:31Speaker 1: in the Free Palci movement. When you hear such visceral
- 4:37Speaker 1: anti Semitic things, to tell your fellow Antisemites. Hey, your
- 4:46Speaker 1: words are inciting more violence against Israelis, especially now that
- 4:50Speaker 1: we know Hamas is not relenting. They literally told the
- 4:57Speaker 1: world we don't have to abide and be captive to
- 5:01Speaker 1: Israel's terms or demands. And so today we don't ever
- 5:13Speaker 1: want to see hostages taken again. We don't ever want
- 5:19Speaker 1: to lose seventy seven people that did nothing wrong except
- 5:27Speaker 1: be Israeli and Jewish American, but they died in Hamas captivity.
- 5:36Speaker 1: So for them to use the words we will not
- 5:38Speaker 1: be held captive, it's so infuriating and rich because they're
- 5:43Speaker 1: the ones that hold people captive, illness and people captive.
- 5:50Speaker 1: And I will stay on this soapbox to scream as
- 5:54Speaker 1: loud as those who stand on their soapbox and say
- 5:57Speaker 1: Israel doesn't deserve to exist. You know why, because there
- 5:59Speaker 1: needs to be a h a counterpoint. Someone has to
- 6:05Speaker 1: deliver that counterpoint to those that stand on their stipbacks
- 6:08Speaker 1: and say from the river to the sea. And I
- 6:12Speaker 1: don't see that counterpoint often vocalized, but it has to be.
- 6:19Speaker 1: And we must stand and continue to have one leg
- 6:22Speaker 1: up for Israel and not force them to let their
- 6:26Speaker 1: guard down, because it's now known once again, Hamas is
- 6:31Speaker 1: not letting their guard down. And if you didn't see
- 6:35Speaker 1: that coming, then you're naive. So President Trump, I applaud
- 6:44Speaker 1: you for what you did getting them released. But now
- 6:47Speaker 1: the time you get you encourage Israel to blast the
- 6:50Speaker 1: hell out of Hamas and get them eradicated once and
- 6:56Speaker 1: for all, so that we don't even have to worry
- 7:00Speaker 1: they reneg are not so they're not in existence. I
- 7:06Speaker 1: believe every time Ahama's leader is killed, that's a good thing.
- 7:09Speaker 1: But we cannot let Israel and hamper them from continuing
- 7:14Speaker 1: to go. Now, could they go a different way than
- 7:17Speaker 1: bombing Goadza, Absolutely absolutely, But the point is they've sort
- 7:25Speaker 1: of been defanged right now during the ceasefire, while Hamas
- 7:29Speaker 1: doesn't seem deterred, and that is alarming and should be alarming,
- 7:39Speaker 1: not surprising, but alarming. So a day after such a
- 7:46Speaker 1: monumental moment and a healing moment, the ugly truth comes
- 7:55Speaker 1: out and we cannot. So that's the point. We cannot
- 8:04Speaker 1: defang Israel if Hamas is undeterred, and we also cannot
- 8:14Speaker 1: force Israel to stand down because Hamas will never stand down.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And so the navigator the road continues to be very
- 8:27Speaker 1: tough to navigate, especially with their undeterrence. But I think
- 8:37Speaker 1: we have the right person in charge to get it done,
- 8:40Speaker 1: to make Hamas disappear. Dare I say forever? Here on
