  Speaker 4: was basically like lifetime tickets.

  Speaker 8: And so my family won them, and so we've had

  Speaker 4: I've actually only been one, so I'm not really a

  Speaker 4: big golf fan, but being you know, from the area,

  Speaker 4: I had, having never visited the National, wanted to go.

  Speaker 8: So I went a couple of years ago with my

  Speaker 8: wife for the first time, and then was actually planning

  Speaker 8: to go back this year with a buddy of mine

  Speaker 8: and he wanted to go.

  Speaker 4: For Phil Nicholson. And then Phil Nicholson announced that he

  Speaker 4: wasn't coming, and so my friend was like, oh, let's
• 2:53
  Speaker 4: just wait till next year. And so that's how I
• 2:56
  Speaker 4: ended up sending that message to Eddie.

  Speaker 5: I know they still do the lottery, but I didn't
• 2:59
  Speaker 5: know it was Lifetime's.

  Speaker 2: Oh that's legit.

  Speaker 5: Yeah, that's wild. So the person that won the lottery

  Speaker 5: was it you would you say with like your dad

  Speaker 7: I mean it was it's my family though.

  Speaker 5: Okay. So you get these tickets at Miller two tickets,

  Speaker 4: So I've listened to the show, I don't know, like.

  Speaker 8: On and off for probably fifteen years. And I remember, however,

  Speaker 8: many years ago that Eddie started going through the like

  Speaker 8: foster and adoption and stuff, and that just resonated.

  Speaker 4: With me because my wife and I are.

  Speaker 8: Foster and adoptive parents and we have three children that

  Speaker 8: we adopted out of foster care, and so that part

  Speaker 8: of Eddie's story has just always, like I said, resonated

  Speaker 4: And I figured if I had any chance at getting

  Speaker 4: his attention and a DM, that maybe Masters would be

  Speaker 4: in the background. They've watched the Breaking Bobby Bone Show,

  Speaker 4: They've listened to some stuff I've seen you on American Idol,

  Speaker 4: so they like think that this is the coolest thing

  Speaker 5: Now, which would have been cooler if you didn't invite me.

  Speaker 8: Right Well, you're you're notorious about not really getting in

  Speaker 8: your dms, and so I figured I would have seen

  Speaker 4: For the whole day, but the folks that I was

  Speaker 4: giving the tickets to weren't going until like closer to lunchtime,

  Speaker 4: So I thought I would go for the morning, and

  Speaker 4: it was just like, Okay, this will be cool.

  Speaker 7: Let me see if I can get Eddie.

  Speaker 4: I feel like he would like to go.

  Speaker 7: I would love to hang out with them for a

  Speaker 7: little while if he'd be open to it.

  Speaker 4: And so I sent the message really as a joke

  Speaker 4: to myself, and then you know, masters came and went

  Speaker 4: So I just kind of assumed, okay, well that you know,

  Speaker 4: that's not going to happen, and then it just happened

  Speaker 4: Feel this feels ridiculous to say. I'm aware of how
