- 0:02Sand Coast across right side Marshall so shoots and scores.
- 0:08It's the podcast that loves the hockey team you love and sorrow
- 0:12stops him with the blocker. This is the Predator's official
- 0:16podcast with Cara Hammer and Max hers.
- 0:18Sand Coast left circle Rooster his scores on one O 2 five and
- 0:24one O 6 three. The game at
- 0:26nashvillepredators.com. This is the Predators official
- 0:31podcast on ESPN. One O 2 five and one O 6 three.
- 0:35The game. My name is Max.
- 0:37Hers from Predators Radio along with Kara Hammer from Preds TV.
- 0:42Hello Hammer. What's up Max?
- 0:45Are you feeling good? I was a big time win last night.
- 0:49Smash belt. We are riding quite the hockey
- 0:51high as we record here on Wednesday April 9th after the
- 0:55highest scoring overtime win in Predators history. 76 in OT
- 1:02Tuesday night against the Islanders in the 5th to last
- 1:05game of the season. That was a whale of a game.
- 1:08It was so much fun and think about all of the, you know, the
- 1:12history that the Islanders are making this week alone, a high
- 1:16scoring game last night in Smashville.
- 1:17But Max, I got to start this podcast congratulating Alex
- 1:22Ovechkin, the NHL all time goal scoring leader, now 895 goals.
- 1:27And I'm not joking, Max, when he scored it, I think I cried like
- 1:30a baby. I don't know.
- 1:30I was like, I was so overcome with emotion watching this
- 1:33historic record be broken. Wow, Hammer was in her fields.
- 1:37Happy tears. In my fields, I've, I've always
- 1:40enjoyed OV and it's always been like anytime you, you watch him
- 1:44score a goal in Smashville, you know, from his spot on the ice,
- 1:47you think you're, you're watching, you're watching
- 1:50history. And he got he got it done.
- 1:53Have you ever met him? I have not.
- 1:55I've seen him in the hallway. I've seen him in the hallway.
- 1:57And but you know, like some of my heroes, they do come around
- 2:01the building. Even last night with the
- 2:03Islanders having Patrick go out in the building as as many of
- 2:05you know, like that's where I grew up.
- 2:08That's what got me into hockey, that 1996 Colorado Avalanche
- 2:11team. So.
- 2:13But maybe now if I see Obie again, I might have to ask for
- 2:15an autograph, yeah. Yeah, I'd say go for it.
- 2:18I don't think last night would have been a good time to talk to
- 2:21Patty Wah though. I don't think he was very happy
- 2:23after the Predators came from behind late.
- 2:26Two goals down in the final two O 7 and beat the Islanders in
- 2:30overtime 7:00 to 6:00. What a ridiculous game back and
- 2:35forth. Not the most well played game.
- 2:38Islanders were in must win mode and the Predators found a way to
- 2:42beat them to snap A6 game losing skid for the Preds.
- 2:46This game just had so many things.
- 2:48It started with Ryan O'reilly's 300th NHL goal so Congrats to
- 2:52Mr. Factor on that. Philip Forsberg got his 30th
- 2:55goal of the season. That is his fifth thirty goal
- 2:58season. Steven Stamkos hammered a power
- 3:00play goal. Michael McCarron went into full
- 3:03back mode and muscled A puck over the goal line and the Preds
- 3:06played well enough to win and kept it close but found
- 3:09themselves down 6/4 after giving up a Shorty with under 4 minutes
- 3:14left on a play the Preds strongly felt should have
- 3:17included a penalty against the Islanders.
- 3:20They were hot down there on the bench and the Preds actually got
- 3:23a penalty for unsportsmanlike for arguing.
- 3:26Then the refs even things up a little bit.
- 3:28Fred's got A5 on three with the empty net.
- 3:31Stephen Stamko scored to make it a one goal game at 65.
- 3:35Then it's six on five. Michael Bunting doing his work
- 3:38in front of the net, tips Stamkos's shot in Stamkos's
- 3:42fourth point of the game, the game tying goal for Bunting.
- 3:46His fourth goal as a Pred made it 6-6 with 39 seconds left.
- 3:51Then in overtime, Cara, the rookie, fedders Fetchkov with
- 3:55the game winner. This was one of those games,
- 3:59Max, that if you left the building when the Preds went two
- 4:03goals down, you're on the drive home kicking yourself to look at
- 4:06the final score and see the Preds came back and win at 7:00
- 4:08to 6:00. And it was an awesome crowd,
- 4:11too, on Trisha Yearwood bobblehead night.
- 4:13We still have the best fans in the world.
- 4:15Cara. This season has not gone well.
- 4:17It's a Tuesday night. The Preds have been eliminated
- 4:19from playoff contention. But man of these crowds down the
- 4:22stretch still been big and they've been really fun.
- 4:25And how could you not have fun watching a 7 to 6 Fred's win?
- 4:30I I felt good about it, Max, when the score was six to five
- 4:34and there was a catfish on the ice and we were talking about it
- 4:37on the broadcast. Who was holding on to this
- 4:40catfish? How long was he sitting in the
- 4:42building with this fish, you know, strapped on him?
- 4:45Somebody bring him in. Was he in a cooler?
- 4:47What was the deal here? But the catfish came on the ice.
- 4:50I had good feelings and I had a great, great postgame interview
- 4:54with Steven Sam, Coach, first star of the game.
- 4:58Just talking about the crowd here in Smash Bell.
- 5:00Steven, let's start with overtime and the rookie.
- 5:02He had options, but he takes the shot himself.
- 5:05What did you see from Svetch cough there?
- 5:07I was just catching my breath on the bench, to be honest with
- 5:10you. So I missed it.
- 5:10I heard the crowd go crazy. So I think Shay Z made a great
- 5:14play and Svetch took the puck and shot her home.
- 5:17It's great to see. Obviously he's he's going to be
- 5:20a big part of the future here. You guys were down two goals,
- 5:22six to four, 4 minutes left in the game.
- 5:24Talk about the belief in this team to find a way to come back.
- 5:27Well, I thought we got a little bad luck.
- 5:29Obviously Factor took that stick up high and we got some calls at
- 5:33the end. And you know, it's nice to get
- 5:35on the power play there and get 1.
- 5:36And I used to finally score one on a six on five situation.
- 5:39So it was an exciting game. Obviously a lot of goals and
- 5:43hopefully we can build off that two power play goals.
- 5:45It feels like the man advantage is is really finding a way to
- 5:48get the job done. Yeah.
- 5:50I mean, it's it's been a work in progress all season.
- 5:53So we're trying to build something we can feel good about
- 5:56ourselves heading in to the last couple games here.
- 5:58And it was a good, good day today and always a good day when
- 6:01you see the catfish on the ice. Yeah, absolutely.
- 6:03So, you know, a good, good effort, a gutsy effort and we
- 6:07found a way. Thanks, Steven Catfish on the
- 6:10ice. Max, did you?
- 6:11Did you anticipate that with a handful of games left in the
- 6:14season, down six to four with the, you know, 4 minutes left in
- 6:17the game? We need to figure out who this
- 6:19was because there were so many aspects of this that made it
- 6:22ridiculous. First of all, anybody who brings
- 6:25in a catfish and straps it to their body or as you said, maybe
- 6:28sneaks it in in a cooler or something like that, you are a
- 6:31hero. First of all, no matter how you
- 6:33get it in or when it hits the ice to bring it in at the 5th to
- 6:36last game of the season when the preds have been eliminated from
- 6:39the play offs double S the hero factor and then to hang on to it
- 6:45until the 12th goal of the game goes in in the final minute.
- 6:51We need to figure out who this was.
- 6:53If you know or have any information, please tweet at us
- 6:56at Maxers talks at Cara Hammer. We we will have a reward for
- 7:00you. We can reward you with some
- 7:01Preds tickets either for next week or next season if you have
- 7:04information leading to our hero. So going back, Max, I mean, is
- 7:09this what the season has been missing?
- 7:12There's so many times we we question what happened.
- 7:14There was a little bit of a lull in a game.
- 7:16Has it just been the catfish this whole time?
- 7:19Maybe this individual had the catfish strapped to their body
- 7:22the entire season. He was waiting for the.
- 7:27Pawns to unfreeze to go catch 1. Yeah, seriously, he was hole
- 7:30hopping over at Percy Priest trying to make it happen.
- 7:33But hey, whatever works, whatever works.
- 7:36And then in overtime, 2 great chances, one for each side.
- 7:39Jonathan Marshiso stopped on a breakaway by Marcus Hogberg, and
- 7:44then Simon Holmstrom hit the post in search of a hat trick
- 7:48for the Islanders. Third shift of OT Feder
- 7:51Svechkov. He's coming to be Mr. Overtime
- 7:54now as a rookie. He has three overtime shifts in
- 7:58the NHL. Kara 2 primary points on 2 Preds
- 8:02game winners. The assists Steven Stamkos in
- 8:05the Predators last overtime win and then the overtime goal
- 8:10against the Islanders. 2 big ones for Svetch and you got to
- 8:14talk to him after the game which is always a treat talking to
- 8:17Svetch. A big night for some of the
- 8:19veterans. Ryan O'Reilly picks up his three
- 8:21hundredth goal. Philip Forsberg, his 5th, 30th
- 8:23goal season. How much are you relying on
- 8:25these guys right now? What am I doing?
- 8:28Like looking up to them, relying on them, taking advice from
- 8:31them. I mean, there are legends
- 8:33around, so trying to be quiet in a room.
- 8:38No, I mean like there are everybody like good guys.
- 8:43Sometimes they invite me to the dinner, so I have this chance
- 8:47and I'm going when I have this chance.
- 8:49Yeah, They're just trying to help to young guys and they're
- 8:54really trying to show that that they can make a result in this
- 9:00league. And I think maybe not this
- 9:03season already, but I hope that next season I'm going to like
- 9:06turn around. Well, Samer had high praise for
- 9:09you tonight, so Congrats on this one.
- 9:11Yeah, thank you. Thank you guys.
- 9:12Sometimes they let Fetters Fetchkov go to dinner with them,
- 9:16and he's very grateful for that. I it's one of these interviews
- 9:21where you it it's better to watch it on on television.
- 9:26The way his eyes lit up when I said 300 goals for Ryan O'Reilly
- 9:31and you know, he gives the for Philip Forsberg, you know, 530
- 9:35goal season. But Max, my favorite was to
- 9:38close out this interview. I don't think it made the cut,
- 9:41but he looked at the camera and gave two big thumbs up.
- 9:46So, I mean, I just, I just love, I just love Sketchkov.
- 9:49He's such a great interview. And, you know, kudos to him for
- 9:53always, you know, standing there and answering the questions,
- 9:57even though English is not his first, his first language.
- 10:00I believe endeared is what the hockey fans call what fetters
- 10:05Fetchkov is. We are endearing.
- 10:06He is endearing himself to us every time we hear him and see
- 10:10him play. He's great, he's great.
- 10:13So shout out to Svetch. Big overtime goal for him.
- 10:15Hey, maybe if the league goes full time three on three next
- 10:18year, he can win the Art Ross. I think he's got a shot.
- 10:22He's been Mr. Overtime. Yeah, it's been great.
- 10:26And Max, I have to tell you, last night I fan rolled out
- 10:31quite a bit for Trisha Yearwood Bobblehead night.
- 10:34I had never met her personally. I've been at some events with
- 10:38her, but I was very, very excited when I found out I was
- 10:40going to have the chance to speak with her.
- 10:43And she was great. She is a girl's girl and she
- 10:49told me that she watches every hockey game and I could not
- 10:52think of a better person for Smash Belt to have a bobble head
- 10:56and to be able to celebrate her. And of course, she crushed it
- 10:59singing the national anthem. Welcome back to Predators
- 11:03Hockey. And guys, I'm fangirling now
- 11:05because I am standing here with the one and only Trisha
- 11:07Yearwood. Trisha, it's your bobble head
- 11:09night. How cool is this moment for you?
- 11:11I mean, you know, you've made it when you have a bobble head and
- 11:14I have smash on here. So to have a dog on the bobble
- 11:16head is pretty great. I know you're a big dog rescue
- 11:19person. How important was that for you
- 11:20to have smash on your bobble head?
- 11:22Well, to just raise awareness for adoption.
- 11:24And I know that a Smash trash came from Goodlettsville, which
- 11:26is where I live and just trying to light on rescue.
- 11:30So it it was meant a lot to me. So I, I have to ask because
- 11:33you're a country girl, but you're Nashville girl.
- 11:35How did you get into the sport of hockey?
- 11:38I mean, you have been a large supporter of this team in this
- 11:40franchise. When when the team came here, I
- 11:43just embraced it. Nashville is a great sports
- 11:45town. We embrace our teams.
- 11:47And I just started watching and learning.
- 11:49My husband knows a lot about hockey.
- 11:51So I I asked her so many questions until finally now he's
- 11:54like, I'm a hockey wife because now I think I know what's going
- 11:56on. And we know you had a had a
- 11:58celebratory drink with all the hockey wives tonight already,
- 12:00right? I did, I did.
- 12:01I asked and how they can, how they can watch their husbands,
- 12:03especially get in flights and stuff.
- 12:05But they they were, they were wonderful and and I was happy to
- 12:07get a chance to meet them. Well, we're so happy to have you
- 12:09in the building tonight. Thank you, Tricia.
- 12:11Thank. You great job, Kara.
- 12:12You maintained your fangirl status without fangirling too
- 12:16hard and bombing the interview. Great job.
- 12:18I think, I think it was great because we had a few minutes
- 12:21before we started to catch up and she gave me a hug and she
- 12:25said I watch you, I watch every game.
- 12:28I just love you. I love Lindsay.
- 12:30And she told me she goes, I watch a lot of the games with my
- 12:33sister and when you guys are done with the interview, my
- 12:36sister and I look at each other. We go guys, cuz you know, that's
- 12:41how Lindsay and I always toss. Back.
- 12:43Oh my God, really amazed. That's incredible.
- 12:47So, so I could get chirped a little bit like Trisha, but this
- 12:50is how much I was fangirling because we were having this
- 12:52conversation. And I said, how'd you get into
- 12:54hockey? And she goes, well, you know,
- 12:57Garth would play these shows and we'd go out and we'd we'd he'd
- 13:01do pick up games and I'd watch or we'd be ice skating on these
- 13:03ranks. And I thought you, you're
- 13:05talking about your husband, Garth Brooks.
- 13:07Like it was just such a normal conversation.
- 13:09She was so down to earth and it was a great night.
- 13:12But also we've had so many cool musicians in the building this
- 13:15season with the bobblehead night.
- 13:17Obviously we've had Tim McGraw and we had Vince and Amy, but
- 13:21Lindsay got the got the number one with Jelly Roll Fred's
- 13:25leading 2 to nothing over the Blues.
- 13:27I have a very special guest now on the desk.
- 13:29That guy right here is joining me.
- 13:31Jelly, Roll Jelly. Hey, hey, hey, what's up,
- 13:34bobblehead? Name.
- 13:36We've got lots of fans, everybody.
- 13:38He came down here to see Jelly. Let's talk about the bobblehead
- 13:41Jelly. What do you think?
- 13:42It's pretty accurate. Dude, is this not the coolest?
- 13:45Look at look at this watches boop.
- 13:46I've been sitting up there flipping it on the head all
- 13:48night long. It's the coolest thing ever.
- 13:50I just can't quit flipping it. Oh.
- 13:51My. God, the best one ever?
- 13:52Dude, no, I love. This one accurate, the tattoos,
- 13:55everything. No, look, the tattoos are
- 13:56perfect, dude. And they, they, they sit on and
- 13:58look, man, I got to be the first bobble head in the NHL with face
- 14:01tattoos. This has got to be some sort of
- 14:03a weird record. For sure, it definitely is.
- 14:07Well, Jelly being in Nashville native, what's it been like to
- 14:11watch this town turn in to a hockey city?
- 14:14Dude, I watched this town go from guitar town to hockey town.
- 14:17It was awesome. It was one of the coolest things
- 14:19I've ever seen. I love the culture around it,
- 14:22too. And you know, I've toured, so
- 14:23I've got to play every NHL stadium.
- 14:25I get to catch a lot of games on the road.
- 14:26But man, it is a special culture in Nashville.
- 14:29People that come here know it's real and it's awesome, man.
- 14:32It's really cool to see what's happened since the late 90s here
- 14:34with the Predators. Yeah, definitely.
- 14:35And you were saying you've only been able to make it to to three
- 14:38games this year, but what were you saying being a good luck
- 14:40charm? Oh, dude, I'm telling you what?
- 14:42We're two and oh, while I'm here and we're two to nothing going
- 14:44into the second. So I feel, I feel like I'm
- 14:46bringing something here. Can I tell you something cool?
- 14:48Yeah. Tell me.
- 14:49So my wife's upstairs with me, my son and my daughter.
- 14:53My son is 8 years old. My daughter's fixing to be 17.
- 14:56All of her high school friends are here.
- 14:58My son's best friend's here. And it reminded me of when it
- 15:01when we first got the Predators, my father would bring me.
- 15:04We didn't know anything about hockey, you know, we were
- 15:06Nashville people. But he was a prideful Nashville
- 15:09person. He was like, we're going to have
- 15:10a team, we're going to be into it, you know what I mean?
- 15:12So it's really cool to see my son experience in his first
- 15:14Predators game tonight. Oh, it's his first game.
- 15:16That's so amazing. I love that.
- 15:18Yeah, we saw you up in in the sweet cheering when the guys
- 15:22were scoring. So really into it tonight.
- 15:24You got the custom jacket. I'm teaching my wife the
- 15:26culture. I'm like, yo, you got to watch
- 15:27this part. This is the Tim McGraw part.
- 15:29And I'm showing. I'm like, really cool, man.
- 15:30It's a culture thing. I love it.
- 15:32Well, Jilly, thank you so much for joining us.
- 15:34And hey, you, you, hopefully they keep winning and you're the
- 15:37good luck charm. Keep.
- 15:38Going tell you dude, I'm hanging out, that's for sure.
- 15:40It feels good to be back home and that's why I landed at 4:00
- 15:42this morning. We're back rocking and rolling.
- 15:44Thanks for joining us. We appreciate.
- 15:45It awesome stuff with Jelly Roll a couple weeks ago on his
- 15:48bobblehead night at Bridgestone, the first bobblehead in NHL
- 15:52history with face tattoos. He's so great.
- 15:57I mean, he's been around fight. We've seen him, I think 1 I
- 16:00think last season he was in on the engagement.
- 16:02Do you recall that if you were in the building, he he assisted
- 16:06on somebody getting proposed to at the game.
- 16:08So shout out to Jelly roll. He's everywhere.
- 16:11He does everything. I I don't know when he sleeps
- 16:13Max, but we're so glad that he's a, he's a a fan and of a
- 16:17supporter of, of the Predators. We talked about this a couple
- 16:20weeks ago, but before his bobblehead day on the podcast,
- 16:23and we did get the correct answer.
- 16:25What do you refer to Jelly Roll as when you meet him?
- 16:28And you heard Lindsay say it at the beginning of that interview.
- 16:32Jelly is what he likes to be called.
- 16:35So just lead with Jelly. That's the answer.
- 16:37But I was asking some of the players because many of them
- 16:40have met him before He came to the locker room after a game
- 16:42earlier this season. We got a variety of answers.
- 16:46A couple people said Jelly, which is the correct answer.
- 16:50Cole Smith said Mr. Roll was his suggestion, which prompted Zach
- 16:56LaRue to say is his last name actually Roll?
- 17:00Which no it's not, it's Deford, but close.
- 17:04Good try Zach. So Jelly, Mr. Roll See Mace
- 17:09submitted rolzy in the spirit of hockey nicknames a classic.
- 17:14And UC Sorrows said he actually had not met him formally, but he
- 17:19suggested J Roll, which I like. But Jelly is apparently the
- 17:23correct way to refer to Mr. Roll.
- 17:26It's a Jelly roll, all right. Yeah, but good to know the
- 17:30bobble heads were awesome. Props to the Preds marketing
- 17:32team for making all those happen.
- 17:35Hope you got all five. I've got all 5 put together now.
- 17:38The Music City Hawk of Bobblehead series is complete
- 17:40thanks to Visit Music City, the Nashville Tourism and Activities
- 17:44Board, the Chamber of Commerce, whatever you want to call them.
- 17:47They do a great job with all of the events in the city and so
- 17:50many events that touch Bridgestone Arena, including so
- 17:52many things around the Preds games, SEC tournament, concerts,
- 17:56Comedy Festival, everything. That's a busy crew and they lent
- 17:59us some of their time and support to get those bobble
- 18:02heads to you this season here in Smashville.
- 18:06Down to four games left in the season as we record here on
- 18:08Wednesday, April 9th. By the time some of you hear
- 18:11this, they may only be three games left in the season.
- 18:15Thursday night, April 10th, the Predators become the last team
- 18:20to visit Salt Lake City, UT for the first time.
- 18:23Thursday night April 10th Preds and the Utah Hockey Club at 8:00
- 18:30then Saturday night Las Vegas for the Preds Jonathan Marshiso
- 18:34makes his long-awaited return to the place he played the previous
- 18:37seven seasons. They made him late wait until
- 18:39the last Rd. game of the season. Preds and Golden nights Saturday
- 18:43night April 12th at 9:00. Then the final two games of the
- 18:46season are at home Monday night, April 14th again against Utah at
- 18:51Bridgestone Arena at 7:00 and then Wednesday night, April
- 18:5516th, the season finale against the Stars Wednesday night at 7
- 18:59at at Bridgestone Arena. So hope to see you guys at one
- 19:02of the final two home games of this season.
- 19:05Hate that we're at the end here. Kara.
- 19:07It's April and we know the Preds will be done after this week.
- 19:10Doesn't feel right. Feels like we should be gearing
- 19:12up for some playoffs, but want to thank the fans who have made
- 19:15this season so much fun. You'll keep Fan Appreciation
- 19:18month going as well on Preds Twitter with tons of discounts
- 19:22from our sponsors and giveaways coming every day both online and
- 19:26at the Preds games. This past week we had a new pred
- 19:29join the fold. First round pick, 20 year old
- 19:31winger Matt Wood signed with the predators and made his NHL
- 19:34debut. We'll talk about his first
- 19:36couple NHL games coming up next here on the predators official
- 19:39podcast. She is Cara hammer from
- 19:41predators TV. Trisha Yearwood's best friend.
- 19:44I'm Max Sears from preds radio. This is the POP on ESPN.
- 19:48One O 2 five and one O 6 three the game her.
- 19:55Daddy says when it comes to Brandy, got the short end of the
- 20:02stick. Welcome into the Predators
- 20:04official podcast. I'm Carrie Hammer along with
- 20:07Max, hers and the Hey Trisha, you're what Max?
- 20:09I mentioned that I have done some events with her and one
- 20:12time we were at the charity bowling event and the song came
- 20:16over the speakers and Trisha had everybody in the building
- 20:20singing her song while bowling and it was one of my favorite
- 20:23moments. By being an employee with the
- 20:26Nashville Predators, so. Yeah, she's the best fan.
- 20:30Girl and heart over here, Max. Fangirl, you're sweetheart out
- 20:33and she fangirled right back at you.
- 20:35I do want to give a shout out also to Trish.
- 20:39I did not notice this as it was happening just based on where I
- 20:42was sitting in the press box, but she was wearing a Hockey
- 20:45Fights Cancer themed bedazzled Preds jersey for the anthem at
- 20:49the game this week and Pretz Twitter posted pictures.
- 20:53The name on the back was Rogers. That is in honor of Pete Rogers,
- 20:59the Preds only equipment manager in team history.
- 21:01His daughter is currently fighting cancer.
- 21:03Her name is Lexi and Trisha wanted to give her a big shout
- 21:07out so she got the bedazzled Hockey Fights cancer sweater.
- 21:10A nice humble nod to Lexi. So Lexi, we're rooting for you.
- 21:14Lexi is a college student, Nashville native who grew up
- 21:16here as part of the Preds family.
- 21:18And nice job Trisha. Another big win for Trish.
- 21:21She is the best. That's so sweet and why we're
- 21:25why we're talking about equipment staff.
- 21:26Let's give a shout out to Brad Peterson, Assistant Equipment
- 21:30manager, who works his thousandth game last night, Max.
- 21:34Incredible. Number for him. 1000 games on
- 21:37the equipment staff, that might be harder work than 1000 games
- 21:41as a player there. There are not many times I would
- 21:43belittle how hard the players work, but the equipment guys
- 21:46might be the only ones who work harder along with the athletic
- 21:48trainers. And we and Brad's just been
- 21:51around the game forever. If if you're unaware, his dad is
- 21:54Brent Peterson, former assistant coach for the Nashville
- 21:56Predators. Great guy, love Brad.
- 21:59Think about the hours they put in Max when when the team flies
- 22:02home and you may get in late at 4:00 in the morning, everybody
- 22:05gets to go home and go to bed. But these guys go straight to
- 22:07the rink and get everything ready to to do it all over
- 22:10again. Yeah, those jerseys got to get
- 22:12hung right up and the equipment's got to dry
- 22:15regardless of when the next game is.
- 22:16So it is a thankless life for those guys and I'm trying to get
- 22:21one of the 1000 game Brad Peterson T-shirts.
- 22:23I'm not sure how many extras there are, but I got to get one.
- 22:27I did get, not the team edition, but the Preds were selling Ryan
- 22:31O'Reilly 1000 game jerseys or T-shirts last season and there's
- 22:35still a few up in the Preds locker room pro shop.
- 22:39So go get him if you want one. I got one of those.
- 22:41That was the first one thousandth game I was on the
- 22:43call for in the NHL and got to love the fat daddy.
- 22:46So I grabbed one of those. But the Brad ones I think are
- 22:49only team issue. I don't think he has enough of a
- 22:51following to sell them to the general public.
- 22:53Sorry Brad, love you. But yeah, I I need to get my
- 22:56hands on one of those. But first we got to make sure
- 22:58Brent, his dad, gets one because he said he didn't have one yet
- 23:01either when I asked him last night.
- 23:04That's great 1000 games. That's so many.
- 23:07Yeah, that is a lot of skates sharpened and screws tightened
- 23:11on helmets and sticks and gloves and everything.
- 23:14And those of you who have been around hockey know none of it
- 23:17smells very good. So shout out to Brad.
- 23:19All the players love him and we love him and he's Smashville
- 23:22Zone. So it was his one thousandth
- 23:24game. That was Matt Woods second NHL
- 23:27game, the big 20 year old winger.
- 23:29He just turned 20 a couple months ago.
- 23:31Predators drafted Wood in the draft at Bridgestone Arena 2
- 23:35summers ago, 15th overall. He and Tanner Molindyke were the
- 23:38two first round picks in that draft that we got to host here.
- 23:42Wood at the time had just finished his freshman season of
- 23:44college hockey at UConn. He was the youngest player in
- 23:49American College hockey that season, played one more season
- 23:52at UConn, then transferred to Minnesota this season where he
- 23:55had some family roots. His dad, Jamie, was an assistant
- 23:59coach for the women's hockey team at Minnesota for a few
- 24:01years while Matt was growing up. They went back to the Vancouver
- 24:05area, where his mom's side of the family is originally from,
- 24:09and that's where he considers himself to be from.
- 24:11But he's bounced around the hockey world, got drafted in
- 24:13Smashville and had never actually skated at Bridgestone
- 24:17Arena until morning skate on Sunday, the day he made his
- 24:20Preds debut. That's so cool.
- 24:24I love, I love it for the rookie to come out and he did so well.
- 24:28Max, he received such high praise from not only the
- 24:31coaching staff but his own team mates.
- 24:33I know afterwards Up with Steven, Samco said.
- 24:36He looked so poised for for being such a young guy.
- 24:39And I had a chance to catch up with Michael McCarron, who
- 24:42skated on the line with him. And I asked about his debut and
- 24:46getting set to go into the game last night and Michael McCarron
- 24:49goes. He was just, he had so much
- 24:51hockey since you could tell he was just a player who was
- 24:53getting it. He was strong.
- 24:55I was encouraged by him. So a lot of high praise for Matt
- 24:58Wood in his first two games in Smashville.
- 25:00Yeah, absolutely. And after Woods very first NHL
- 25:05period Sunday night against the Canadians, I interviewed Stephen
- 25:08Stamkos on Preds radio and this was his reaction after one
- 25:12period, as you said, effusive praise.
- 25:14Here's Stammer. He looked great, you know, some
- 25:18some really nifty plays. You could tell he's got that
- 25:20offensive instinct. Obviously a really big guy, but
- 25:23you know, made some really good plays.
- 25:24Could have had a couple points so really encouraged.
- 25:27Yeah, he he deserved a point or two in that first period.
- 25:30I thought he played well. And based on the moves the Preds
- 25:33have made, it looks like he'll get a chance to play every game
- 25:36down the stretch here. With Kiefer Bellows and Spencer
- 25:38Stassney going to the AHL for as long as everybody stays healthy
- 25:42and slot into the lineup, that could keep Matt Wood up for the
- 25:45rest of the season. I do want to correct something I
- 25:47said earlier this week on the radio.
- 25:50I said incorrectly that Wood could play in the AHL play offs
- 25:53this year. That is not true.
- 25:55He is not eligible to play in the AHL play offs since he
- 25:58signed an NHL contract for this season.
- 26:01He can play in the AHL next season and that'll still be his
- 26:05age 21 season. A lot of developing left to do,
- 26:08but great to have him in the National League.
- 26:10Great to have him in pro hockey and with the Preds.
- 26:14It was cool and I believe his family was in the building, so
- 26:16it's always exciting when you have family in town to support
- 26:19you. Absolutely, yeah.
- 26:21His parents, his two younger sisters, his girlfriend and also
- 26:25his best friend from home, and his trainer, his hockey trainer,
- 26:29his main coach away from his college teams, were in the house
- 26:34at Bridgestone Arena for the first two games of his NHL
- 26:36career Sunday and Tuesday for Matt Wood.
- 26:40He says Matthew's fine too. But Matt or Matthew are both
- 26:43fine. And they made some Toy Story
- 26:45references to welcome Woody to Smashville that Cara Hammer
- 26:49enjoyed. I did.
- 26:52I enjoyed it. I give a shout out to our social
- 26:54media team because they did the backwards woody when they
- 26:57spelled his name on the cowboy boot in front of his locker
- 27:00stall. I thought that was pretty
- 27:01creative. Should we start putting some
- 27:05some Toy Story puns in here? What are some good Woody lines?
- 27:08That so long, old pal? It's kind of sad, but.
- 27:12Well, I feel like I'm more of like the buzz, like to Infinity
- 27:15and beyond. Right, but that I don't know.
- 27:17That doesn't. He's not Buzz though, he's
- 27:19Woody. All right, we'll work on it.
- 27:21We'll we'll consult our toddler consultant Remy Hammer about it.
- 27:26Get her in the fold here. Some other Preds family news
- 27:30that we want to talk to you guys about.
- 27:31First, a couple of people who we want to acknowledge who passed
- 27:35away within the last couple weeks.
- 27:37One we just found out about as we record here.
- 27:39On Wednesday, April 9th, Ray Shiro passed away and the NHL
- 27:44made an announcement with a statement from Gary Bettman.
- 27:46Shiro was an original assistant GM of the Predators for our
- 27:50first eight seasons starting with the inaugural season in
- 27:531998 all the way through 2006. Shiro then became an NHL General
- 27:58Manager where he won Stanley Cup with Hal Gill and the Pittsburgh
- 28:01Penguins and he died in his early 60s today.
- 28:05This was not something that the hockey world was expecting.
- 28:08There have been some great tributes to him.
- 28:09David Poyle is one of Shiro's great mentors and he's one of
- 28:13the great recent GMs in NHL history and and Smashville was
- 28:16proud to call him ours. So Ray Shiro certainly gone too
- 28:19soon. News that is hitting the hockey
- 28:21world hard right now, Kara, as we record this.
- 28:24Yeah, just devastating. I know so many people, you know,
- 28:27we're very close to him and he impacted so many lives.
- 28:31So our condolences to his family.
- 28:34Yeah, absolutely, and he's got a great hockey family as well.
- 28:37Legacies on all sides of that family, very similar to the
- 28:40Poyles, great front office men in the National Hockey League.
- 28:44So rest in peace to Ray Shiro. Forever loved by Smashville.
- 28:47And I imagine we will be doing more to honor him when the Preds
- 28:50return home for the final two games of the season next week.
- 28:54Another member of the Smashville family who we lost a couple of
- 28:57weeks ago on March 23rd is Heather LaRue, Zach Larue's
- 29:02grandma, who was the subject of a video that the Predators put
- 29:06out on social media of her seeing her grandson play in the
- 29:10NHL for the first time in December in Montreal.
- 29:13And she was an incredibly fun and supportive grandma.
- 29:16She got to see her son play in the NHL for the first time.
- 29:20And Zach says since he lost his grandma, he has been watching
- 29:22that video over and over and over again.
- 29:25He was home in Quebec this past weekend to attend her services.
- 29:30He said that over 500 people were at his grandmother's
- 29:35funeral. That's how many people loved her
- 29:37and how impactful she was in hockey in the town of
- 29:41Huntington, Quebec, Canada, near the US border where Zach's
- 29:44parents are from. What did it mean to be back
- 29:46there with your family celebrating her this weekend and
- 29:49the preds giving you an OK to do that?
- 29:51Miss a couple of practices and come back on the same day for a
- 29:54game on Sunday. Yeah, I think the Preds have
- 29:56been amazing. The entire, you know, from Barry
- 29:59down, my teammates, everybody's been really, really supportive
- 30:03and understanding of, you know, it's a little bit tougher times
- 30:06for me and, you know, give me that time off.
- 30:09And they always, you know, told me that whatever I needed, you
- 30:12know, they would be able to provide.
- 30:13So I think that just goes to show how great of an
- 30:16organization this is and how much they care about, you know,
- 30:18the players and obviously, you know, life situations that
- 30:21happen that, you know, are kind of unexpected.
- 30:23But yeah, I think going home and being with my family was was,
- 30:28you know, big for me. You know, when you're on the
- 30:29road and go away a lot of times and, you know, especially I
- 30:33think as a younger guy can be a little hard.
- 30:34And, you know, when I found out the news, I was nowhere in Saint
- 30:38Louis and, you know, I was alone and, you know, it wasn't easy.
- 30:42And those, you know, for the next few days, but you know, to
- 30:45go home and see, you know, how much she was appreciated and
- 30:50loved and all the people that came out to show their support,
- 30:52it was really, really special for me and my my entire family.
- 30:56So you know, she's definitely going to be missed.
- 30:58This past weekend, I'm sure was emotional.
- 31:00You had the services and then you flew back day of and played
- 31:03here against your hometown team, your grandma's favorite team,
- 31:06the Canadians. What was that day like?
- 31:09Yeah, it was pretty nuts because obviously how big the Habs are
- 31:13back home and, you know, everybody kind of watching their
- 31:16playoff push. All I heard for two days was,
- 31:19you know, take it easy on them. And I wasn't sure if I was going
- 31:22to play or what not. So, you know, didn't have much
- 31:24of an answer for them. But, you know, flying the same
- 31:27day and then get the nod that that I'd be playing.
- 31:30I knew that it it wouldn't have mattered.
- 31:32You know, I was going to have that jump.
- 31:33I was going to have, you know, my my energy.
- 31:35And, you know, playing them is, you know, always pretty special.
- 31:37I think for myself especially I think early in my career, yeah,
- 31:42I thought, you know, I was able to bring that energy.
- 31:44You know, I make plays physical. Obviously.
- 31:46I think we we played such a good game and just kind of fell short
- 31:49a little bit there. But yeah, it was a long day.
- 31:53But definitely, you know, it was it was good to get out there and
- 31:56play. And I know she was looking down
- 31:58on us. And your grandma did get to see
- 31:59you play for the first time at the Bell Center in December.
- 32:02That's I mean, it was already the most meaningful day of your
- 32:05hockey life, but now even more so.
- 32:08Yeah, obviously you know, to have her there, she wasn't able
- 32:11to make it to, you know, my first game or any games in
- 32:13Nashville. But I knew, you know, if I if I
- 32:16stuck around till, you know, the thing was December 5th that she
- 32:19had the opportunity to come watch.
- 32:20And yeah, the the team got a really, really special video
- 32:24and, you know, miked her up and, you know, I've been able to
- 32:27watch that over the last, you know, few weeks now.
- 32:29And you know how much it meant to her and how much she cared
- 32:33about, you know, my journey and my career and you know he.
- 32:37Was four years sold when he started and when he was a little
- 32:42boy he said, grandma, I'm going to fire me.
- 32:45NHL. I said, well, you go for it and
- 32:49you work hard. And you will get there.
- 32:51The best part is that, you know, she was the same way about all
- 32:54ten of her grandchildren and all the sports they did.
- 32:56It didn't matter what level or what they played.
- 32:58She always took the time to, you know, travel all across the
- 33:02province and, you know, the country for that.
- 33:05You know, she was just so special that to have the
- 33:08opportunity to, you know, accomplish my goals and my
- 33:10dreams and to do it in front of her and her be able to see that
- 33:13was was really, really, really special.
- 33:16And yeah, it's hard to kind of put all the words together to to
- 33:20say without getting too emotional here.
- 33:21But yeah, she was just such a such a special woman.
- 33:25And she can light up a room anywhere.
- 33:26She went and just cared for everybody and cared so much for
- 33:30me that, you know, she's going to be a big loss.
- 33:32But I know that she is going to be looking down and, you know,
- 33:34always will be with me. Fittingly, there is a locker
- 33:37room name for her at the youth rink in the town of Huntington,
- 33:40where your parents are from. That's the perfect way to
- 33:43memorialize her and what you said right after it happened.
- 33:46That's what you want Prince fans to know about her.
- 33:48Yeah, just everything she did in the community, whether it's, you
- 33:52know, with minor hockey and, you know, a ton of other
- 33:54organizations. And I was actually able to go to
- 33:58the the rink last week on on Saturday before I, you know, I
- 34:01was flying back out and see the locker.
- 34:04And, you know, just obviously brings back a lot of, you know,
- 34:07good memories of, you know, growing up playing there.
- 34:09But also just everything she did for, you know, that community.
- 34:12And I think that was definitely felt over the last, you know,
- 34:15weekend and see all her, the support that came out to, you
- 34:18know, show the love for her. So yeah, I think she's going to
- 34:21be missed by, you know, a lot, a lot of people, things like.
- 34:23That thanks. See, we're with you.
- 34:25Thank you. That's Zach LaRue, preds and
- 34:26Islanders coming up next. Zach LaRue talking about the
- 34:29loss of his grandma Heather, who died a couple weeks ago at age
- 34:3380. And Kara, I think it's a it's a
- 34:36nice God wink that the services were over 2 days this past
- 34:40Friday and this past Saturday. It's the only time all season
- 34:43the Predators have had a Friday and a Saturday without a game
- 34:46consecutively, and then the first game after that is against
- 34:50his grandma and his favorite team here in Smashville, and he
- 34:54was able to get back in time for it.
- 34:57Well, that was a great interview and definitely all the feels
- 35:01when he's talking about how supportive she was.
- 35:03Walton of her grandchildren. Doesn't matter if they played in
- 35:06the NHL, just whatever sport they had.
- 35:07But Max it it make, it takes me back to Zack's NHL debut.
- 35:14And I caught up with Mark Borvietsky before the game and
- 35:18we were talking about how many family members LaRue had in
- 35:23Smashville. And he, I remember Mark said, is
- 35:28his grandma here? And I said, one of his grandmas,
- 35:30he goes, he goes, no, there there's another grandma.
- 35:32He goes, that's the one. That's the grandma who's this
- 35:36very special lady. So obviously our condolences
- 35:39with the La Rue family. But how great for him to have a
- 35:42chance to honor her and have that video to memorialize her
- 35:46and always go back and watch it for a feel good memory.
- 35:48Yeah, special shout out to Hannah Ware from the Preds video
- 35:51team, who was the one who was there with Grandma La Rue up in
- 35:55the deck at the Belle Center filming that and putting the mic
- 35:59on her and you heard some of it. She was a hoot, that's for sure.
- 36:03That's the right way to describe her.
- 36:05So good job by the Preds front office and coaching staff giving
- 36:09Zach LaRue the grace and the time to be away from the team.
- 36:11Miss a couple practices. They went out of their way to
- 36:14book some flights for him that were not straight line easy
- 36:17flights to make sure he could get back home, first in Montreal
- 36:20and then to Huntington, Quebec, Canada, which is where his
- 36:23parents both grew up to help remember his grandma.
- 36:27And he did get to see the Heather LaRue locker room, which
- 36:29was dedicated a couple years ago for all she did for minor hockey
- 36:33in the town of Huntington. So rest of peace to Heather
- 36:36LaRue. A couple of sad things in the
- 36:38Preds family, but we got each other's backs here, that's for
- 36:40sure. And Zach Larue's family's been a
- 36:43big part of the season, so it's it's fitting to know how loved
- 36:47she was for real. All right, we'll take a break,
- 36:49come back, gather your family around.
- 36:51We had a fun time going to the hockey verse last week.
- 36:54Remy Hammer loved it. We're going to talk about it
- 36:56coming up next. Carrie Hammer from Fred's TV
- 36:59Maxers from Fred's radio here on the Predators official podcast.
- 37:02You're on ESPN. One O 2 five and one O 6 three
- 37:04the game. Welcome back to the Predators
- 37:27official podcast. Little Jelly roll for you here
- 37:31on one O 2 five and one O 6 three the game sweet.
- 37:35Say thank you to our Music City hockey bobblehead friends.
- 37:38If you missed Jelly Rolls interview with Lindsay rally, go
- 37:41to Predators official podcast on your favorite podcast platform.
- 37:44It was in the first segment of today's episode.
- 37:47My name is Max Herz from Fred's Radio along with Kara Hammer
- 37:50from Fred's TV and Hammer. Last week Chris Mason Nash and I
- 37:56got to go into the hockey verse to bring the first ever
- 38:00Predators animated broadcast to you on News Channel 5.
- 38:04It was a ton of fun. I want to say a big thank you to
- 38:07everyone who watched. So many people have said things.
- 38:10Big shout out to the NHL and their partner companies.
- 38:13They were the ones who made this happen.
- 38:15We were fortunate to be chosen as one of four NHL teams that
- 38:18got to do this this season, and it was an unforgettable
- 38:21experience, one-of-a-kind. Kudos to you Mace and Nash.
- 38:27I mean specifically you and Mace Max.
- 38:30It was so cool. Remy and I watched the game
- 38:32together. We had the best time.
- 38:36We loved all of the pucks dancing around.
- 38:41We loved. The like the little bandanas
- 38:43they were wearing. I just thought that you guys
- 38:46blew it out of the water and it was so cool and it was so
- 38:49informative. You know, like we obviously
- 38:52there's so many hockey fans, but it was a great way to listen to
- 38:56to you and Mace kind of break things down.
- 38:58You know, I I heard a few times Mace talk about like, oh, a
- 39:01winger, like, OK, well, this is a line and this is a center and
- 39:05a right and a left. And when guys take a shift, they
- 39:08want to be on the ice for 30 to 45 seconds.
- 39:10It was so informative, so Congrats to you guys.
- 39:15We just had the best time and was that awesome like that.
- 39:18It was a high scoring game so you had some goals coming.
- 39:21Yeah, we had a lot going on. It was fun.
- 39:24And they were dragging and dropping us all over the world.
- 39:27We had our VR headsets on and they could put us anywhere we
- 39:30wanted. And we filmed funny little
- 39:32vignettes that you guys saw throughout the broadcast on top
- 39:35of the Batman building. And Mace was scared of heights.
- 39:38Mace was inside the Saber toothed tiger skull at Nash's
- 39:42archaeological dig. And then he popped out of the
- 39:45eye slot of of the Saber toothed tiger and scared me.
- 39:50We had some more. There was a little hockey rink
- 39:52set up where puck people, who are the citizens of the hockey
- 39:55verse puck people were passing the puck around.
- 39:58But the way these animations work, they're all on a loop.
- 40:02So it's just passing forever and they never shot.
- 40:06And Mace stood in the goal and made his actual goalie movements
- 40:09with his body and was getting square to the shooter as the
- 40:12three pucks passed it around and they never shot it.
- 40:15It was so funny. You know, I really thoroughly,
- 40:21thoroughly enjoyed about it is you guys were In Sync with the
- 40:25actual broadcast. I had, I'd like had my own
- 40:27simulcast going. We were watching you guys on the
- 40:30laptop on the stream. We had the game going on
- 40:33FanDuel. And when a goal came, I mean, it
- 40:36was within seconds of how In Sync it was in real time.
- 40:41How hard was that to keep up with, with watching actually
- 40:44what was happening on the ice, but then also, you know, living
- 40:47in this other world? Yeah, it was the game was
- 40:50definitely secondary because of that, but it with the numbers
- 40:55and things like that, there was enough that you could tell.
- 40:57But yeah, it was it was definitely a challenge, but it
- 40:59it was fun. I think me and May said the easy
- 41:01job. I think the animators and the
- 41:02programmers had the hard job and Nash had the hard job having to
- 41:06bring all of his friends together for a one-of-a-kind
- 41:08party. So give Nash some credit too.
- 41:10Kara, come on, give Nash. 'S I'll give Nash, I'll give
- 41:13Nash and credit and and I I do have to admit that Remy's
- 41:19favorite part of of the broadcast was angry Nash and he
- 41:23came out when Columbus scored a goal.
- 41:25So we did get to see him eight times.
- 41:28But I think by about goal 4, she really started to root for when
- 41:33is he coming back? Where is he?
- 41:35When is he coming? The video that they would show
- 41:39was Nash on the pedestrian bridge Keeling over and banging
- 41:43the ground in anger. And it's so funny.
- 41:45And I need to make it into a GIF and keep on using it because
- 41:48it's such a great reaction gift for funny stuff to use on
- 41:51Twitter or things like that. And yeah, it was, it was very
- 41:56funny. And I I enjoyed getting to make
- 41:59my opposing teams goal call. What I actually want to say when
- 42:03the other team scores, when I'm on the radio doing real world
- 42:05play by play, which is Oh no. I know, that's what I was
- 42:12saying. Oh no, Remy, we can't root for
- 42:14angry Nash. We need to root for the Pres.
- 42:16We cannot root for him to come back out anymore.
- 42:19Yeah, well you, you texted me and Mace during the game how
- 42:22much you guys were enjoying it and how much Remy loved angry
- 42:26Nash. So she was manifesting more
- 42:28goals against the three-year old pulling the sorry soon to be 3
- 42:32year old pulling the puppet strings on our season because
- 42:35she loves angry Nash. So after goal #8 I had to give
- 42:38the R.E.M. dog some love. Another big save for Anand and
- 42:42he's been busy in the 1st 5 minutes.
- 42:44Another shot in the Blue Jacket score.
- 42:50Tell Remy to get ready because Nash is not happy.
- 42:54Oh, oh, oh, Nash is just dejected right now.
- 42:58He cannot believe what's happening here as the Predators
- 43:03give up another goal and this is a hat trick goal Max.
- 43:08Tell Remy to get ready, Kara. I'm glad she had fun.
- 43:13It was the best, it was the best and now it's posted on YouTube,
- 43:16right, So you can go back and and watch it.
- 43:18So if you missed it at all or want to go see Angry Nash, check
- 43:22it out on YouTube. Yeah, it is on the NH LS YouTube
- 43:25page. Nashville Predators, Music City
- 43:27Hockey and Smashville is the name of the video.
- 43:30Search it up. I mean you.
- 43:31It's something that you can watch anytime and you can watch
- 43:33bits and pieces of it. There's lots of different
- 43:36portions of the game. It's a 2 hour video in full.
- 43:38So it's fun and it's something we're going to use, I hope a lot
- 43:42more to the NHL, hopefully can license this to the Predators to
- 43:45use in different ways in the future.
- 43:47So I want everybody to get to experience this world and they
- 43:51worked hard making it and it did a freaking amazing job putting
- 43:54all the Nashville landmarks together in one animated place
- 43:57in the hockey verse. And I think you'll be seeing
- 44:00some of these games in the playoffs as well, animated games
- 44:03in the playoffs from the NHL hockey verse.
- 44:05And there's more to come on this.
- 44:08It's it's really, really fun. So thank you to everyone at the
- 44:11NHL. I'm not going to start naming
- 44:13the people we worked with because it's so many people from
- 44:15the NHL who all did an amazing job.
- 44:17And it was a crew of 15 plus people on the day of the game.
- 44:20So I don't want to leave anybody out, but everyone we worked with
- 44:23was truly amazing. So accommodating to us and the
- 44:28Predators gave the ideation for it, but the NHL was the one who
- 44:31execute it. Special thanks to a couple
- 44:33people on the Predator side. Brittany Austin who is the
- 44:35Predators vice president of marketing, who was the person
- 44:38who gave the NHL all the ideas for the Music City hockey theme
- 44:43in the hockey verse. She did such an amazing job
- 44:46guiding them through what makes Smashville, Smashville to make
- 44:49the animated world what it was. And also our producer Jake
- 44:53Hartsfeld who works on the non animated Preds broadcast but
- 44:57film all of the video content with the players that you guys
- 45:01saw throughout the game, including players skating with
- 45:03their kids and things like that. So it was a lot of fun.
- 45:06And then right after it happened, we had the Stamkos,
- 45:09Marsha so and O'Reilly kids featured in the broadcast
- 45:13skating with their dads at Centennial Sportsplex.
- 45:16Then less than a week later, 3 year old Chase Stamkos was in
- 45:20the house on the ice with his Papa after Pred's practice and I
- 45:25got to ask him what it was like being on TV.
- 45:27So it's cool to see him from the hockey verse back to the real
- 45:29world. It's so cool.
- 45:32I mean, amazing job, amazing job.
- 45:34You guys killed it. Thanks everybody for their
- 45:36support. It was awesome.
- 45:37We'll take a break, come back, tell you a couple things to look
