- 0:01SPEAKER_00: Okay, well I'm so glad that you're here.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: And um let's pray and we'll get going.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: Father God, thank you so very much for your word, for what you reveal to us in your word, and um we're just grateful, Lord, that you have everything in your control.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: We give you praise for that tonight and ask you to be with us and manifest yourself here with us tonight.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: In Jesus' name, amen.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Okay, so each week so far, Israel has been at the the center of our discussion and what we've looked at, right?
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: That's because all of the end time scenarios involve and um are centered on Israel.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: So tonight we're going to look at the who and the what and the when and the why.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: I couldn't come up with a where or how, so but maybe you can.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Of Ezekiel 38 and 39.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: So all Bible directions.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: Wait a second.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Hmm, just told Sam, I think I need a new computer.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: And it's not up.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: No, it my battery kind of went dead.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Well Okay.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Jesus.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: Come on.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Poor thing.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: It this is an old computer, I just told him.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: I think I need a new one, Sam, because it does this a lot.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: Here it is.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Okay, good.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Stay awake.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Stay awake.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: Now this one went to sleep.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: So all Bible directions that are given in the Bible are given in relation to Israel.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: So north is means north of Israel, south means south of Israel, etc.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: One of the major events that's yet to take place is the Ezekiel 38, 39 war.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: And I wanted to visit that before we got into the tribulation next week.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: We need to see who the nations are that are doing this.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: And so Thomas Ice, and you can see there on the map how they all surround Israel.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Thomas Ice is a really good end-time prophecy guy.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: He's written a bunch of stuff.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: And he says, Ezekiel is called son of man throughout the book.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: Son of man is used 93 times in Ezekiel to refer to the prophet.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Why is Ezekiel so often addressed by God as son of man when he is about to receive revelation from the Lord?
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: It appears that son of man underscores his humanity in relation to God.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: In other words, God is the one who is the revealer, while Ezekiel, as a human, is the recipient of the divine message that he is to pass on to other human beings.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Ezekiel is passing on to us the infallible prophecy of these two chapters, which will surely come to pass.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: So the first, why?
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: Why does this invasion happen?
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: There's no doubt that Israel is one of the richest nations surrounding them in that area and region.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: Israel has developed a dynamic economy through technology, through it's one of the most productive agricultural places in the world, actually.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: And they are the leader in generic pharmaceuticals.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: And Wikipedia says Israel is considered one of the most advanced countries in Southeast Asia in economic and industrial development.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: It has the second largest number of startup companies in the world after the United States, and the largest number of NASDAQ listed companies outside of North America.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: So God has obviously blessed them.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: I went to college in South Florida, and there are a lot of snowbirds who come down south from the north, and let me tell you, they are blessed by God.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: It's amazing.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: So why does this invasion happen?
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: It happens purely because God says that it's going to happen.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: It is inevitable that this is going to happen, and Ezekiel 38, I mean 39, 8 reiterates that God will see this through.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: It is coming, it will surely take place, declares the sovereign Lord.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: This is the day I have spoken of.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: That is such an emphatic passage.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: And the other one that it rem the others that it reminded me of were Revelation 22.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: When Jesus says, Look, I am coming soon.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: Look, I am coming soon.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: And Revelation 22, 20.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: He who testifies to these things says, Yes, I am coming soon.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: Come, Lord Jesus.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: It's going to happen.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: This invasion is going to come, and so is Jesus.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: And so those are just some of the most emphatic passages.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: Now, men and women of the globalist elites may think of themselves as the movers and the shakers and the history makers.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: And I think that they do.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: But truly, our God is the one who sets in motion and determines what he is going to do, and he will manifest what he has foretold.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: He will do what he says he will do.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: They are playing right into his hands, and they don't even know it.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: But it will happen because God says it will happen.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: And he will do what he says he will do.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: Ezekiel 38, 3 through 4.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: This is what the sovereign Lord says.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshach and Tobal.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws, and bring you out with your whole army.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: Dr.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: Constable says, putting hooks in the jaws pictures control that they would be unable to resist.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: They're not going to be able to resist this.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: The Lord would be the first to cause this action, and then there would be secondary reasons that they are going to come down and do this, not the least of which is Satan's influence on human decisions.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: So, in a sense, God is going to entice these nations to engage in a dangerous enterprise.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: And what more dangerous enterprise could they absolutely do than coming against God and the people of Israel?
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: They are on dangerous footing whenever they do this.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: And God is orchestrating the entire invasion, and it's for his set purposes.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: So when does this invasion take place?
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: Nothing like this has ever taken place with the Jewish people in the land of Israel before.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: Never.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: Just imagine and think about this.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: When has Israel ever been invaded by nations, the nations that are listed in Ezekiel chapter 38, verses 1 through 6?
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: Or when has God ever destroyed an invading army like this with fire and brimstone and plagues and earthquakes and infighting?
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: The answer is never.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: He has never, this has never happened before.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: And that's because Ezekiel is describing a future event that is still future for us.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: It's still up out there.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: Ezekiel indicates that it will be in the latter years.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: Ezekiel 38:30 38 8.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: That's hard to say.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: After many days you will be summoned.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: In the latter years, you will come to a land restored from the ravages of war, with many peoples gathered on the mountains of Israel that had long been in ruins.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: Its people were brought out from the peoples, and all of them will be living in securely.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: So the terms after many days and in the latter years seems to refer to the same period of time.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: And it's only the latter years is only used here in this passage in Ezekiel.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: And that's the only place in the Old Testament.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: But it's also used in verse 16 to describe the last days.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: And so the consensus is that they are both speaking of the same thing.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: So you can say either the last days and it's synonymous with the latter years.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: And remember, it's the last days of Israel, right, that we're talking about, not the church.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: So it will happen in the latter years, after the land will be restored from the ravages of war.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: Israel will be back in her land as a nation.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: Israel will be dwelling securely.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: Israel will not be expecting this at all.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: And it will take them by surprise, even though it's their own Old Testament prophet Ezekiel who has who has pronounced it from the Lord.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: So it's still going to take them by surprise.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: Mark Hitchcock says, some argue that Israel is at rest and living securely today, and they believe this prophecy could be fulfilled anytime.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: They maintain that Israel is living in great prosperity and is enjoying security.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: Well, that is true to some degree, he says.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: No matter how hard one might try to stretch the meaning of these words, Israel is not really at rest today.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: Israel's current state of unrest does not correspond with Ezekiel's prophecy.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: However, I think Mark Hitchcock wrote this before the Abraham Accords that President Trump brokered between those countries that we'll talk about in a minute, which I can't remember right now.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: But there's no way to know for sure when this happens.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: It's all speculation.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: But and every view that we will look at, because we're going to look at the views right now, but every one of them has their problems.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: And theologians have have placed the in this invasion on every point, at every point in the end times.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: And so it there is a wide variety of opinions on this.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: Some believe this invasion will take place before the rapture during the church age.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: Some believe the invasion occurs after the rapture, but before the tribulation begins.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: If so, it could take place almost simultaneously with the rapture of the church and the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel, which is the tribulation.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: Some believe it happens right after the tribulation begins.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: And in this view, the rapture of the church has already taken place, right?
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: And the Great Tribulation has begun before this battle takes place.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: They say it occurs sometime during the early part of the tribulation.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: And at that time, Israel will be living in peace because of the treaty that they will have signed with the world ruler who is going to be the Antichrist.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: Some believe this invasion takes place in connection with the Battle of Armageddon at the end of the tribulation.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: Some believe it occurs at the end of the millennium.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: Some think it will unfold in phases throughout the tribulation.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: Phase one is Ezekiel 38.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: Phase two is Ezekiel 39 that happens at the end.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: So you see it's everywhere.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: Everybody has their opinions.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: Thomas Ice, who I mentioned before, and Mark Hitchcock write prolifically about the end times.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: Thomas Ice says, I believe that the invasion of Gog will likely take place after the rapture of the church, but before the start of the tribulation.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: One of the primary factors is the seven-year period that is mentioned in this section of the passage.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: It seems likely that the seven-year burning of the weapons could lapse into the could burning could lapse into the thousand-year kingdom period after our Lord's second coming.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: It's unlikely that that would happen.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: I should have said.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: I think I said it was likely.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: Okay, so then Mark Hitchcock has a different opinion.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: And he says, these Old Testament terms, latter years and last days, refer to the last days for Israel, which extends from the beginning of the tribulation to the millennium.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: I believe this clue renders it highly unlikely that the battle would happen any time before the tribulation.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: The tribulation inaugurates the latter years for Israel.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: The battle will happen after that.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: Another clue places the battle at a time when Israel is at rest in its ancient homeland.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: There have not been too many times in God's prophetic program when Israel has been at rest.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: So you see, there's really brilliant people on both any side of this issue, of when this invasion takes place.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: And I can see ways that it could be both of these.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: That for a long time I thought that it was right after the rapture, but before the tribulation.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: Perhaps with that Abraham Accords, they really are living securely, and so it would happen very quickly.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: But the result is going to be the same no matter when it happens, right?
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: So we don't have to know, and we can't know for sure when it happens.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: The influence of Russia, if it is Russia, and her Muslim allies in that area will end.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: Their influence will end at that point.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: And that would give rise to a European-centered leader, which we also know that the Antichrist is going to be Eurocentric.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: He's going to be from Europe.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: And so that would make sense as well.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: And it's also going to set the stage for the Temple Mount, for being on the Temple Mount.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: But something significant has to happen to launch the Antichrist into world power, right?
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: Something very significant has to happen.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: And the decimation of this gog coalition of these allies, these allies, would leave a massive power vacuum in that whole entire area.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: I mean, these people are going to be completely wiped out.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: And it would give a plausible explanation of why the Antichrist can take over so quickly and come to power.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: If the world is still reeling from the rapture, which I think it will be, then this happened, and then this happens on top of that, there's going to be a huge amount of chaos.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: I mean, we can't even imagine.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: So North America, South Korea, Central, and South America, some nations in Africa are almost completely Christian nations.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: Iran has one of the largest underground churches in the world, and China has a huge amount of believers.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: And so those those countries who have the highest population are going to be the most decimated.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: So what countries does that leave?
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: It leaves the Muslim countries and it leaves Europe that are not going to be very touched by the rapture until this battle happens, if that makes sense.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: But the entire world is going to be affected by the rapture.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: Then, with the decimation of all of these Muslim countries and nations, because of the invasion, the world is going to be in an absolute chaotic mess.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: Europe, who has the lowest number of believers, would easily be able to gain control and dominance.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: And the entire world will be looking for someone to bring order out of the chaos, and Satan will have his man to do just that at the right time.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: So, who is involved in this invasion?
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: Most theologians believe that Magog is Russia for lots of reasons, many reasons.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: And if you read those reasons, it just kind of makes your head explode.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: So I didn't include any of them.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: But trust me, if you want to go look at it, it gets pretty deep pretty fast with all of the syntaxes and Hebrew.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: So I don't know for sure if it's Russia.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: I mean, I assume it is, but who knows?
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: We could all be wrong.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: I will reference it as Russia moving forward, just for simplicity.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: Ezekiel 38, chap uh verse 1, and then 4 through 5.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: The word of the Lord came to me, Son of Man, set your face against Gog of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshach and Tabal.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: Prophesy against him.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws, and bring you out with your whole army, your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: Persia, Cush, and Put will be there with them, all the with shields and helmets, so also Gomer with all its troops and Beth Togarmar.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: Togarmar.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: I practice that.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: However, whatever that is.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: Togarma.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: From the north, from the far north with all its troops, the many nations with you.
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: So Lawson Younger says that the meaning of the word root word, the word in the Hebrew for hook is ha, H-A-H.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: And the literal meaning of ha is thorn.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: But in the Old Testament, it's used metaphorically as a hook.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: In the majority of occurrences, HAH ha is employed in military contexts for the hook put in the mouth of someone to take him.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: So it was a it was an when someone was conquered, like Cinacherub was conquered, and they put a hook and drove him, pulled him away.
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: That's what will happen here.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: Some speculate that that hook could be oil.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: Israel has a huge amount of oil that hasn't been tapped.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: I mean it's in the process, but it's a huge amount.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: So oil could be one of those hooks or those secondary causes for them coming down.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: But there could be many, there could be many reasons.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: So this is the list in the ancient name and with the modern equivalent, and I think it's on your sheet there too.
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: But these are predominantly Muslim countries, and they happen to all hate Israel and are against Israel.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: And they are all allied with Russia right now, and have been for about the last at least 10 years, if not longer.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: This would involve vast numbers of soldiers.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: Persia lays to Israel's northeast, Ethiopia to her southwest, put to her southwest, southeast on the African coast of the Southern Red Sea, Gomer to her northwest, and Beth to Garmah to the northwest, southeast of the Black Sea.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: So the peoples all around Israel would unite against Gog's with Gog under Gog's leadership.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: That's so hard to say.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: So these nations together have the capability to do just exactly what the prophet Ezekiel is talking about here.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: Perfectly, especially, just have to say it, especially after Biden pulled the troops from Iran and left behind$80 billion worth of weapons for the Taliban.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: Afghan.
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: Afghan, sorry, yes, Afghan.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: Afghan, Iran, whatever.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: They're all in there.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: Mark Hitchcock says, because of the frequent use of Gog in this passage, we conclude that Gog is the most important person or nation in this coalition.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: Whoever he is, Gog appears in this context to be a person, leader, and ruler that God has told Ezekiel to prophesy against.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: So, what are the elements of the invasion?
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: If you did your homework, that was on the homework, right?
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: Did anybody do the homework?
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, good, a few of you.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: Yay.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: That's better than I thought.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: You might want to do this week's.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: I think it's really good.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: But okay, first, a divinely triggered earthquake.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: This earthquake will be so severe it will totally disorient the invading forces.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: Just think about that.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, I picture them all around Israel there, that little crescent, right?
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: So when I thought about that, I thought, are there any fault lines in Israel?
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: And that purple line is a fault line.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: Go figure.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: Exactly where these armies would all be stationed, ready to come in to Israel.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: So transportation would be utterly destroyed as roads and buildings collapse all over the place.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: The invading armies will be thrown into utter chaos, right?
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: The earthquake may track may trigger powerful volcanoes that could spew forth volcanic ash and molten rock.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: And the result is that the enemy troops are going to be utterly destroyed before they can even strike, before they even get ready.
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: And I can just see all of those around ready to come in when God makes it impossible for them to do so.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: Then there's going to be infighting.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: The pandemonium and the confusion for those armies will they will turn on each other and they will start fighting each other.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: Communication is going to be horrible between the invading armies because probably everything is going to be down.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: The power outages, all of that, they'll start attacking each other.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: And they're also going to be from various arm nations.
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: And so they won't be speaking the same language.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: So it's going to be incredibly chaotic at that point.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: And then disease, with the transportation being disrupted, and the earthquakes getting medicine and food and all of that to the to the armies and to the injured, all the injured people, is going to be next to impossible.
- 24:39SPEAKER_00: And so sickness and disease will and death will be on a massive scale.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: And then torrential rain and hailstorms and fire and burning sulfur.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: If the volcanoes are triggered, then that could all come down on them, or God could just decide to rain it down on them just like he did Sodom and Gomorrah.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: For seven months they will be burying the dead.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: The destruction at the hand of the Lord as he defends Israel against this coalition is going to be so great and significant that Ezekiel 39 actually spins ten verses 11 through 20 talking about the cleanup and the burial process in that time.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: Ezekiel 39, 12 through 16.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: For seven months the Israelites will be burying them in order to cleanse the land.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: All the people of the land will bury them.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: And the day I display my glory will be a memorable day for them, declares the sovereign Lord.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: People will be continually employed in cleansing the land.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: They will spread out across the land, and along with others, they will bury any bodies that are lying on the ground.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: After the seven months, they will carry out a more detailed search.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: As they go through the land, anyone who sees a human bone will leave a marker beside it until the gravediggers bury it in the valley of Haman Gog, near a town called Hamanah.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: And so they will cleanse the land.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: How incredibly detailed is that incredible.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: Just absolutely incredible.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: We've seen enough of the collapsed buildings from earthquakes around the world to know what that looks like, right?
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: For seven years, Israel will be burning their enemies' weapons and plundering the enemy.
- 27:01SPEAKER_00: Ezekiel 39, 9 and 10.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: For seven years they will use them for fuel.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forest, because they will use the weapons for fuel.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the sovereign Lord.
- 27:18SPEAKER_00: This all sounds primitive, right?
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: It sounds like in the day of Ezekiel.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: But remember, the entire power grid could go down for a long time.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: And so things might get primitive rather quickly.
- 27:35SPEAKER_00: The fact that these weapons will be burnt for seven years provides kind of a time indicator for us that could help us discern when this battle is going to take place on God's prophetic time timeline.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: These seven months of burying the dead and seven years of burning the weapons are helpful in determining when that's going to be.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: And the number seven is the number for completion.
- 28:03SPEAKER_00: Why will it take so long to accomplish this?
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: First, burying that vast number of soldiers and are is just going to take forever.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: But also, the armies are destroyed in the mountains.
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: And so many of the bodies are going to be in crevices where they're going to have to be searched with dogs and all of that to even find them.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: And the people are going to be employed for seven months doing that.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: I'm sure that you've noticed as you've read this, either in the past or even tonight, that it's talking about ancient weapons, swords, helmets, shields, all that.
- 28:45SPEAKER_00: Mark Hitchcock says one explanation for the weapons described in Ezekiel 38 and 39 is that Ezekiel described weapons in the language that the people of that day could understand.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: The focus is clearly not the weapons.
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: The point is that the invaders will use weapons of destruction and there will be all and it will be all-out warfare.
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: Moreover, the main point of Ezekiel's great prophecy is that a specific group of nations attack Israel intent on completely destroying her.
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: So, the next why.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: Why does no one help Israel?
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: No superpower or nation will defend or come to Israel's aid.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: None.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: These passages reveal that there's no concern, there's no great concern that any superpower will intervene on Israel's behalf.
- 29:43SPEAKER_00: There's no superpower that who can or who will come to the aid of Israel.
- 29:50SPEAKER_00: And they are left on their own when this attack takes place.
- 29:54SPEAKER_00: They're not concerned that anybody's gonna come and help.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: That's very interesting.
- 30:03SPEAKER_00: Up to this point in time, the United States has been a superpower that has staunchly supported Israel.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: But if things continue the way they are going, we are in grave danger of losing that superpower status for many reasons, many reasons.
- 30:22SPEAKER_00: And I never thought I would live to see that, but we are in extremely dangerous territory.
- 30:28SPEAKER_00: There are so many scenarios of that I can think of as to why the United States doesn't come to their aid.
- 30:37SPEAKER_00: So let me reiterate here that the only reason any country is mentioned in Scripture is because of their direct relationship with God's people, chosen people, Israel.
- 30:51SPEAKER_00: In other words, unless there is something they are doing, either good or bad, with reference to Israel, they are not mentioned in the Bible in these end-time passages.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: It's only what happens to Israel that is the concern.
- 31:05SPEAKER_00: So the fact that the United States does not come to the aid at all, and um and is not mentioned in Scripture is interesting and disturbing, and several scenarios could explain this.
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: Perhaps the United States will not care because they will no longer be pro-Israel.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: Perhaps the United States has experienced a nuclear attack, an invasion, or had major destruction in some way.
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: Perhaps the military are busy in other parts of the world and we won't have the military capability to intervene because we'll be spread too thin.
- 31:43SPEAKER_00: Or if this attack on Israel is after the rapture of the church, which I suspect it is, I think it's pretty, it's sure, it is.
- 31:52SPEAKER_00: Um, the U.S.
- 31:53SPEAKER_00: is going to be decimated because perhaps up to 25% of our population is going to be gone in the rapture.
- 32:02SPEAKER_00: The United States support for Israel has been a deterrent for any of these nations that would have done it.
- 32:11SPEAKER_00: They have always known, since they've been a nation, that the United States would support them and would come to their aid.
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: They've always known that.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: And so that's kept these people at check.
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: But as our support dwindles with this current administration and maybe even another one, they become more vulnerable to attack more than they have ever been.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: And since their inception as a nation, they have had the staunch support of the United States until now.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: And now it seems that we can't trust that our government would do that.
- 32:49SPEAKER_00: The only reason from the only response from any other nation is just kind of a slap on the hands to the to the coalition.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: And that only comes from Sheba and Dadan, which are modern the modern-day Gulf states, which are Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, that's so hard to say, and Bahrain, which are all in the Abraham Accords, have all signed the Abraham Accords.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: And even the nations that oppose, they don't do anything about it.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: All of that is bad news.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: But the good news is that Israel does have someone who defends her, and it is God Almighty.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: So why is all of this important to understand?
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: We can't imagine the chaos, the absolute chaos that this event alone is going to produce, right?
- 33:41SPEAKER_00: The invading armies will come thinking they are taking over the land of Israel, but they will be buried in the land.
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: They come thinking that they are all will annihilate the people of Israel, but the God of the people of Israel annihilates them.
- 34:00SPEAKER_00: When all of this destruction is over, none of those in none of those enemies of the Lord will are left standing.
- 34:07SPEAKER_00: They are all wiped out.
- 34:09SPEAKER_00: And the result is the nations along with the people of Israel will recognize that the God of Israel is indeed powerful and almighty.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: Seven times in these two chapters we read the words, Thus says the Lord, and that's in the King James.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: In the other translations, it's this is what the sovereign Lord says.
- 34:31SPEAKER_00: Another eight times the phrase, declares the Lord, is spoken.
- 34:37SPEAKER_00: The Lord is the one acting against Gog on behalf of Israel.
- 34:43SPEAKER_00: There's no, absolutely no doubt about it.
- 34:46SPEAKER_00: In verse 1 of Ezekiel 39, he says, Do I have that on here?
- 34:54SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 34:55SPEAKER_00: In verse 1, Behold, I am against you, O Gog.
- 34:59SPEAKER_00: In verse 2, I shall turn you around.
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: In verse 3, I shall strike your bow from your left hand.
- 35:05SPEAKER_00: In verse 4, I shall give you as food.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: In verse 5, it is I who have spoken, declares the Lord.
- 35:12SPEAKER_00: In verse 6, I shall send fire upon Magog, and they will know that I am the Lord.
- 35:17SPEAKER_00: Verse 7, my holy name shall be I shall make known in the midst of my people Israel, and I shall not let my holy name be profaned anymore.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: And the nations will know that I am the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: What point is God making?
- 35:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 35:37SPEAKER_00: He's doing it.
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: He's in charge.
- 35:40SPEAKER_00: Monday I was I was driving and I was once again praying about our world situation and the evil people who seem to be doing Satan's bidding around the world.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: And I said, Lord, take them in hand.
- 35:57SPEAKER_00: And I was going to continue to tell God what he could do with them when he spoke to my heart and my mind and said, They've never been out of my hand.
- 36:11SPEAKER_00: And that shut my mouth and it smote my heart.
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: And that is exactly what scripture shows us.
- 36:21SPEAKER_00: The patriarch Abraham was in his hands.
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: Pharaoh was in his hands.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: The Apostle Paul was in his hands before and after he persecuted the church.
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: Hitler was in his hands.
- 36:37SPEAKER_00: The evil, wicked people in our world today are in his hands.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: God will be in his hands.
- 36:45SPEAKER_00: And those people don't have to acknowledge that they are in his hands for it to be true.
- 36:53SPEAKER_00: It is true whether they acknowledge it or not.
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: He's got the whole world in his hands.
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: There is a purpose in what he does.
- 37:05SPEAKER_00: We can't always understand.
- 37:09SPEAKER_00: But we can rest in the fact that all things are in his hands.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: It's inconceivable that anything is out of his control.
- 37:18SPEAKER_00: And that brought me peace on Monday as I pondered it.
- 37:23SPEAKER_00: And I hope that it brings you peace as we talk about all of these things that are going to happen in the end times because it's scary.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: It's disconcerting to think about all of this and to have to look at all of this.
- 37:39SPEAKER_00: And we're studying this.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: It's a scary time.
- 37:42SPEAKER_00: And there's no way to sugarcoat it, right?
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: There's just not.
- 37:46SPEAKER_00: And it will get worse.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: And so we have to anchor ourselves to this truth.
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: God has already won.
- 37:57SPEAKER_00: He will always win.
- 37:59SPEAKER_00: And he will accomplish his will.
- 38:02SPEAKER_00: He will.
- 38:04SPEAKER_00: Sonic Light says, however strong evil becomes, however fierce the satanic be the satanic evils that assail God's people on earth, history still rests in God's hands.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: God performs all of this with Gog and the invading armies so that he gets the notoriety and the glory that he deserves.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: Ezekiel 39, 21 through 22.
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: I will display my glory among the nations, and all the nations will see the punishment I inflict and the hand I lay on them.
- 38:44SPEAKER_00: From that day forward, the people of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: Therefore, this is what the sovereign Lord says I will now restore the fortunes of Jacob and will have compassion on all the people of Israel, and I will be zealous for my holy name.
- 39:02SPEAKER_00: What all is God accomplishing?
- 39:05SPEAKER_00: Israel's knowledge and trust of Yahweh God, Israel's spiritual restoration, his glory among the other nations, a display of his compassion for Israel, and Israel's renewed reverence of the name of the Lord.
- 39:25SPEAKER_00: That's a lot to accomplish in this.
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: And this is the exact kind of things that he was trying to accomplish when he brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, when he faced off with Pharaoh.
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: This is going to be biblical.
- 39:43SPEAKER_00: It truly is.
- 39:45SPEAKER_00: This punishment of these nations might sound harsh, but we have to keep in mind that we are in the end times when this takes place.
- 39:54SPEAKER_00: Much worse is going is coming on the rest of the world during the tribulation.
- 39:59SPEAKER_00: God will work through Israel during that time.
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: And so he has to get them ready.
- 40:04SPEAKER_00: He's getting them ready.
- 40:06SPEAKER_00: He's getting them to that place where they are on his side and where they're ready to go.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: That's what he's trying to do.
- 40:16SPEAKER_00: God restores the fortunes of Israel, but more importantly, they will enter into a new kind of relationship with God.
- 40:25SPEAKER_00: I will no longer hide my face from them, for I will pour out my spirit on the people of Israel, declares the sovereign Lord.
- 40:32SPEAKER_00: That sounds like restoration and revival to me.
- 40:35SPEAKER_00: Yahweh has demonstrated his power first in creation and then in the Noah's the flood of Noah's day, and then in the exodus of the and Egypt against Egypt, and then this invasion against Israel is going to be another one of those types of demonstrations of his power.
- 40:58SPEAKER_00: And it is going to be undeniable.
- 41:01SPEAKER_00: It will be epic.
- 41:04SPEAKER_00: There will be no doubt in the mind of anyone that God has conquered their enemies and done this.
- 41:10SPEAKER_00: And that will turn the people back to God, where they should be.
- 41:15SPEAKER_00: Not only Israel, but the world will realize that He is the God of Israel as a result of these events.
- 41:22SPEAKER_00: 39, 28 says, Then they will know that I am the Lord their God, and though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind.
- 41:34SPEAKER_00: This invasion is one of the major events in the last days, in the end times.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: And the fact that we see the nations that are listed as coming against Israel, all as allies right now tells us that we could be very, very close.
- 41:52SPEAKER_00: It's amazing.
- 41:53SPEAKER_00: Most of those Arab nations are loose cannons.
- 41:56SPEAKER_00: You never know what they're going to do and when they're going to do it.
- 41:59SPEAKER_00: And Russia is always in the news.
- 42:01SPEAKER_00: And we never know whose side Russia is on.
- 42:03SPEAKER_00: Never.
- 42:04SPEAKER_00: When God destroys this massive military coalition, the balance of political power and religious power shifts.
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: Israel is on.
- 42:15SPEAKER_00: And this will set the stage and make things easier for the Antichrist to take control.
- 42:21SPEAKER_00: All of this tells us that things are taking shape in exactly the way God wants them to take shape.
- 42:29SPEAKER_00: Because He is in control and He does have the whole world in His hands.
- 42:36SPEAKER_00: Let's pray.
- 42:37SPEAKER_00: God, we thank you for that truth.
- 42:42SPEAKER_00: It is truly something that we can anchor our souls to.
- 42:46SPEAKER_00: That we can say that no matter what comes to us in this country, that you are in control.
- 42:54SPEAKER_00: God, when it doesn't feel like it, you are in control.
- 42:59SPEAKER_00: We thank you.
- 43:01SPEAKER_00: We thank you that we can trust you.
- 43:04SPEAKER_00: And that's what we've seen through the entire word of God is that you are trustworthy.
- 43:09SPEAKER_00: You will do what you say you are going to do.
- 43:13SPEAKER_00: And we can rest our souls in that.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: So thank you.
- 43:18SPEAKER_00: Together we just again cry out, Come Lord Jesus.
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: We just want you to come.
- 43:24SPEAKER_00: And we pray these things in your most precious and holy name.
- 43:28SPEAKER_00: Amen.
