- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need halfway through the week. Happy Wednesday, everybody,
- 0:05Speaker 1: thank you for starting to day with us. Ricky Sanchez
- 0:07Speaker 1: has those three things.
- 0:08Speaker 2: The results of the special election yesterday are in GOP
- 0:12Speaker 2: backed Matt Van Epps one of the Republican votes, while
- 0:15Speaker 2: the Democrats voted for Afton Vaine. I'm impressed with how
- 0:19Speaker 2: quickly all those results came in last night.
- 0:21Speaker 3: So that is done and.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Those are your results from yesterday. Headliners have been announced
- 0:27Speaker 2: for the Jack Daniels New Year's Eve Live Nationals Big
- 0:30Speaker 2: Bash that such.
- 0:31Speaker 3: A long title.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Lady Wilson, Bailey Zimmerman, and Jason al Dean will headline
- 0:36Speaker 2: this year at the celebration held at Bicentennial Capital Mall
- 0:40Speaker 2: State Park. Gospel music legend CC Winens is also going
- 0:44Speaker 2: to be performing with the Fisk Jubilee Singers, which is
- 0:48Speaker 2: very cool.
- 0:49Speaker 3: This is a free event if you want to go.
- 0:51Speaker 3: VIP tickets are currently on.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Sale at Thesic Visit Music City dot com website.
- 0:57Speaker 3: But totally free event.
- 0:58Speaker 2: It's gonna be pas with people, but it's free. So
- 1:02Speaker 2: if you're looking for something to do, this is one
- 1:04Speaker 2: of them for New Year's Eve this year, and there's
- 1:07Speaker 2: a new dating trend.
- 1:09Speaker 3: It's called zip coding.
- 1:11Speaker 2: So zip coding is when people are limiting their prospects
- 1:15Speaker 2: to people who live in the same zip code or
- 1:17Speaker 2: at least like super close to them. This is all
- 1:20Speaker 2: about convenience, right, So some are using dating app filters
- 1:23Speaker 2: to exclude anyone outside of their immediate area.
- 1:27Speaker 3: And like I said, all about.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Convenience could work out very well. Also could be your demise.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I want to remind you if you're doing things like
- 1:34Speaker 2: this that that could ruin like your favorite grocery store,
- 1:38Speaker 2: or your favorite bar, or your favorite park because you
- 1:41Speaker 2: start dating somebody who goes to all the same ones,
- 1:43Speaker 2: and then you can't go to any of them anymore.
- 1:44Speaker 2: This is not the greatest idea, so keep that in
- 1:47Speaker 2: mind if you are zip coding.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I understand convenience.
- 1:50Speaker 4: I get it.
- 1:51Speaker 2: I had a friend who recently just had like a
- 1:53Speaker 2: situationship inside of her building that she lives in.
- 1:56Speaker 3: It's it's not the best idea. Just leave it at that.
- 2:00Speaker 4: That's a mess.
- 2:00Speaker 3: I'm Rich Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 2:02Speaker 3: need to know.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Good point, Ricky, Thank you very much. Let's get back
- 2:06Speaker 4: into the music.
- 2:07Speaker 1: But don't forget We've got your lave tickets Lave at
- 2:10Speaker 1: Bridgestone next week.
- 2:11Speaker 4: We've got them all week for the first caller of
- 2:13Speaker 4: the day. They are yours within ten minutes.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Right here on the river hang out one O seven
- 2:18Speaker 1: five the River, haiky zach And in the morning, justin Weaver, Daisies,
- 2:22Speaker 1: it's one of seven five the River. Thank you for
- 2:25Speaker 1: starting your day with us. Let's say good morning to
- 2:27Speaker 1: Christy Weaver, Christy and Dixon.
- 2:29Speaker 4: How you doing?
- 2:30Speaker 5: I'm fun?
- 2:30Speaker 4: How are you no complaints?
- 2:32Speaker 6: You know I don't like it when you say fine,
- 2:34Speaker 6: what's going on, Chrissy?
- 2:36Speaker 5: Well, I have three more days that I have to
- 2:38Speaker 5: teach before I get fall bright.
- 2:40Speaker 7: That's fair.
- 2:41Speaker 6: So you're counting them down, Sis, I'm counting them down.
- 2:44Speaker 4: What are you doing with? What are you doing your
- 2:46Speaker 4: time off?
- 2:47Speaker 3: I'm going to do it home with my grandkids sweets.
- 2:50Speaker 3: That's gonna be nice.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Do you feel like after you take the week though,
- 2:54Speaker 2: that like you need another week from that original week?
- 2:56Speaker 2: Because whenever I go on quote unquote vacation and I
- 3:00Speaker 2: fill it up with a bunch of things, I feel
- 3:01Speaker 2: like I need a vacation for my vacation.
- 3:03Speaker 5: Well, when you keep the grand kid you made it
- 3:05Speaker 5: late twenty four to forty eight hours to recuperate.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Yeah, that makes total sense. Yeah, I want to take
- 3:11Speaker 4: like a year long sabbatical.
- 3:14Speaker 3: A sabbatical, Like you're a professor.
- 3:18Speaker 4: Do you have to be a profession to take a sabbatical.
- 3:20Speaker 4: I think anybody could take a sabbatical.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Sure, Kevin, we're going to go with that.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Well, Chrissy, we hope that you have an amazing week
- 3:26Speaker 2: next week, and you know, even with the grand kids,
- 3:28Speaker 2: you know, we hope you get that time to really
- 3:30Speaker 2: relax as well, because that'll be nice.
- 3:32Speaker 3: To spend time with family, but also you need to relax.
- 3:34Speaker 8: Thank you so much.
- 3:36Speaker 2: I'm also very excited to tell you that you're the
- 3:37Speaker 2: first caller of the day on one of seventy five
- 3:39Speaker 2: of the River, so you're getting.
- 3:40Speaker 5: These lay Thank you so much.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know if you know much about leave,
- 3:45Speaker 1: but it's really going to be a cool show.
- 3:46Speaker 4: It's at Bridgestone.
- 3:47Speaker 1: She's kind of jazzy, and it's next Monday night, so
- 3:50Speaker 1: you'll be on break.
- 3:51Speaker 4: You get to stay out late, really tear it up.
- 3:54Speaker 5: That'd be awesome.
- 3:55Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 3:56Speaker 5: I'll probably be the lightest.
- 3:57Speaker 2: That sight out in here way.
- 4:04Speaker 8: Thank you so much.
- 4:05Speaker 5: I really appreciate it.
- 4:07Speaker 1: We have more tomorrow, two more days to win these
- 4:09Speaker 1: Tomorrow and Friday, same time, six fifteen for the first college.
- 4:13Speaker 8: Who is the one oh seven five the River Secret Sabrina.
- 4:17Speaker 3: That's what we're trying to figure out.
- 4:19Speaker 2: And I am hoping that we find out today who
- 4:23Speaker 2: the secret Sabrina is.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Nice.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I am just going nuts trying to figure this out,
- 4:28Speaker 2: and it's really frustrating. So if somebody can find out
- 4:30Speaker 2: who the one of seven five the Reversity gat Sabrina is,
- 4:33Speaker 2: that'd be great. We've gotten a bunch of clues in
- 4:35Speaker 2: the last week and a half. Now at this point,
- 4:38Speaker 2: oh my god, it's been a week and a half,
- 4:39Speaker 2: it feels like seven months. So the last week and
- 4:42Speaker 2: a half we've gotten a bunch of different clues that
- 4:44Speaker 2: have kind of, you know, pushed us into a lot
- 4:47Speaker 2: of different directions. Zach originally thought like, maybe it was
- 4:50Speaker 2: Nash on the Preds. Then he thought maybe it was
- 4:53Speaker 2: a Preds player. Then he thought, who is the other person?
- 4:55Speaker 2: A cheerleader?
- 4:56Speaker 7: Cheerleader?
- 4:57Speaker 6: But okay, so here's the other thing is they gave
- 4:59Speaker 6: a clue yesterday two fifty and I think this helps
- 5:01Speaker 6: narrow it down. It says like, here's some of the
- 5:04Speaker 6: jobs that Sabrina Carpenter is not and not on the
- 5:07Speaker 6: news because I was thinking maybe it was a news
- 5:09Speaker 6: anchor because some of the clues were like to be
- 5:10Speaker 6: in front of the.
- 5:11Speaker 7: Camera, I talk a lot, so not a news anchor.
- 5:13Speaker 4: We learned that yesterday.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Okay, okay, So we're slowly narrowing down who this could
- 5:19Speaker 2: possibly be.
- 5:19Speaker 3: So we got another clue for you.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Here we go. This is from the Secret Sabrina.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Let's go espresso's song and also a culp?
- 5:27Speaker 8: Could are you be where you pick one up?
- 5:30Speaker 1: Espresso is a song and also a cup, so like
- 5:32Speaker 1: a coffee shop.
- 5:33Speaker 4: I mean, my mind obviously goes to coffee shop.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Secret Sabrina says espresso and not espresso.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Oh, let me hear that again. Let's hear that.
- 5:39Speaker 3: That's what it sounds like, espressos song.
- 5:43Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Maybe there it sounded more like it's hard to tell
- 5:46Speaker 2: what the voice change. I know the first time I
- 5:48Speaker 2: listened to I was like, oh, xpresso that might be
- 5:51Speaker 2: a dead giveaway.
- 5:52Speaker 8: I know.
- 5:52Speaker 1: That's why I wanted to play it again, because you
- 5:54Speaker 1: got to listen to those little micro clues too.
- 5:56Speaker 7: You never know, sounds like a coffee shop.
- 6:00Speaker 6: So if you go into a coffee shop this morning,
- 6:02Speaker 6: ask everyone around you, hey, are you the one of
- 6:04Speaker 6: seven five the River Secret Sabrina?
- 6:06Speaker 7: Because you might find them there. That's what it sounds
- 6:08Speaker 7: like to me.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Yeah, but maybe not too early in the morning, because
- 6:11Speaker 1: we found out that they're not a morning.
- 6:12Speaker 7: Personal or a night owl.
- 6:14Speaker 3: They're a night owl.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Also, their job seems like not a typical job, so
- 6:19Speaker 2: a very unique kind of job.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Maybe they work out of a coffee shop.
- 6:23Speaker 6: Oh okay, yeah, because they said they don't work in
- 6:26Speaker 6: an office.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Right, so they could work out of a coffee shop.
- 6:29Speaker 2: So maybe maybe you know, wait until nine ish tennish
- 6:34Speaker 2: and then start asking everybody at every single coffee shop.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Well, let me ask you this, guys. I don't know
- 6:38Speaker 1: that I'm not as clear on the rules as you
- 6:40Speaker 1: might be. Can they stand up on a table or
- 6:41Speaker 1: something in a coffee shop and just say, now, is
- 6:43Speaker 1: anybody here the one O seven five the River's Secret Sabrina.
- 6:46Speaker 4: They can't do that.
- 6:46Speaker 2: The powers that be said that they have to walk
- 6:49Speaker 2: up to the person in person. Some people have been
- 6:51Speaker 2: asking can I DM them to see if they are.
- 6:54Speaker 2: You got to walk up to the person and say,
- 6:57Speaker 2: are you the one O seven five the River Secrets?
- 7:00Speaker 2: That full sentence. Otherwise it doesn't actually count. If you
- 7:03Speaker 2: just say, are you Secret Sabrina doesn't count. It's got
- 7:06Speaker 2: to be are you the one of seven five the
- 7:07Speaker 2: River Secret Sabrina?
- 7:09Speaker 1: All right? Well with this new clue, Yeah, I think
- 7:11Speaker 1: that the path you want to follow here is a
- 7:13Speaker 1: coffee shop. If you're stopping by one today, ask everybody
- 7:17Speaker 1: face to face if they are the one of seven
- 7:18Speaker 1: five the River Secret Supremese.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Someone find them today.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Hopefully today is.
- 7:22Speaker 1: The day we do have another clue. If we need
- 7:23Speaker 1: another clue, we have another clue coming at nine fifty
- 7:26Speaker 1: this morning. Be here for that three things you need
- 7:29Speaker 1: to know just past seven o'clock.
- 7:31Speaker 4: On this Wednesday morning. Let's make it a great day, friends.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Flights across the country have been impacted by the government
- 7:39Speaker 2: shut down last week.
- 7:41Speaker 3: We let you know that.
- 7:42Speaker 2: The government was shutting down, and this is something that
- 7:45Speaker 2: has happened before. We're kind of hoping that they figure
- 7:47Speaker 2: it out sooner rather than later, because situations like this
- 7:50Speaker 2: happen the FAA saw staffing shortages yesterday because air traffic
- 7:55Speaker 2: controllers are overstretched and they continue to work with no
- 7:59Speaker 2: pay right now, so just keep that in mind. Took
- 8:01Speaker 2: about seven days for there to be issues at the
- 8:03Speaker 2: airports across the country, from Chicago to Philadelphia.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Even here in Nashville.
- 8:08Speaker 2: BNA had to put out a notice yesterday to travelers
- 8:10Speaker 2: to let them know that there would be delays and
- 8:13Speaker 2: possible cancelations for flights after two thirty pm yesterday. The
- 8:17Speaker 2: FAA says that it slows traffic into some airports to
- 8:20Speaker 2: ensure safe operations. Obviously, when there are increased staffing shortages,
- 8:25Speaker 2: this is the only way that they can do it.
- 8:28Speaker 2: So if you are flying anytime soon, make sure you
- 8:31Speaker 2: are staying updated with all of your information. Because there
- 8:34Speaker 2: were thirty five hundred flights that were delayed yesterday, more
- 8:37Speaker 2: than two hundred of them came from Nashville, so be
- 8:41Speaker 2: up to date on everything that has to do with
- 8:43Speaker 2: your flight. Post Malone is doing a pop up show
- 8:45Speaker 2: tonight in Nashville to celebrate the grand opening of his bar.
- 8:49Speaker 2: So technically Posts bar has been opened since July, but
- 8:52Speaker 2: the grand opening and celebrations started this week.
- 8:55Speaker 3: They have his wax figure down there from Madame Tusso's.
- 8:59Speaker 2: They have exclusive merch Tonight, they're shutting down Broadway for
- 9:02Speaker 2: post Wone to perform, which is really cool. Posty's is
- 9:06Speaker 2: going to be closed during the day today to prepare
- 9:09Speaker 2: for the grand opening event. The venue is going to
- 9:11Speaker 2: reopen to the public after the performance, which will start
- 9:14Speaker 2: at eight pm, so.
- 9:15Speaker 3: The performance completely free.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Go watch Posty downtown if you have the time tonight
- 9:19Speaker 2: and you're just you know, huge fan or been dying
- 9:22Speaker 2: to see Posty, now is your time to do it,
- 9:23Speaker 2: because this is a just very Nashville thing that you
- 9:27Speaker 2: wouldn't really get to experience anywhere else, So and.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Go hang out.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Really confirming the US.
- 9:31Speaker 1: But we've heard a lot of rumors about other people
- 9:33Speaker 1: showing up down there, so we'll see what happens.
- 9:35Speaker 3: I know nothing about any of that.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I know post Malone's going to be there, We've heard
- 9:39Speaker 2: That's what matters.
- 9:41Speaker 3: So if you want to go see Posty, starts at.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Eight pm tonight on Broadway, and the next Door treat
- 9:46Speaker 2: map is back, so this will help you plan your
- 9:49Speaker 2: trigger treat routes. So from now till October thirty, first
- 9:52Speaker 2: neighbors can drop pins to show whether they're handing out
- 9:55Speaker 2: candy or if they're showing off like elaborate decorations. They'll
- 9:59Speaker 2: add photos of what things look like notes on what
- 10:02Speaker 2: they have. This interactive map is supposed to help you
- 10:04Speaker 2: kind of like, you know, find the best route to
- 10:06Speaker 2: take for your trigger treating and make sure that you're.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Hitting all of the hotspots for Halloween.
- 10:10Speaker 4: So you can go to.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Nextdoor dot com slash treat map in order to join
- 10:14Speaker 2: in on all that fun.
- 10:15Speaker 3: I'm Rickie Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 10:17Speaker 3: need to know.
- 10:18Speaker 4: Thank you so much, Ricky. This is Alex Warren. Right
- 10:21Speaker 4: after the song we are learning, it's time for Zach's Facts.
- 10:24Speaker 4: We're getting a good one today in three minutes on
- 10:26Speaker 4: the river.
- 10:27Speaker 9: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the river.
- 10:32Speaker 2: You're ready because there's a Zach's Fact coming right at you.
- 10:35Speaker 3: It's one of seven five of the river.
- 10:37Speaker 4: You guys.
- 10:37Speaker 6: Before Gerald Ford became the thirty eighth President of the
- 10:40Speaker 6: United States, did you know that he was a model
- 10:42Speaker 6: that appeared on the cover of Cosmo magazine? Not what
- 10:47Speaker 6: in nineteen forty two, he was on the cover of
- 10:49Speaker 6: Cosmo magazine. He modeled part time to earn money for
- 10:52Speaker 6: law school, So then he went to law school and
- 10:54Speaker 6: then became president at the thirtieth president in nineteen seventy four.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Wow, I just google Gerald Ford and I'm seeing him
- 11:01Speaker 1: in a whole new light.
- 11:02Speaker 7: I know.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Hope also even crazier because Cosmopolitan magazine first came out
- 11:07Speaker 2: in eighteen eighty six. That's why General Interest Family magazine.
- 11:12Speaker 7: So we had a model for Resident Honey.
- 11:14Speaker 4: And there's your fact of the day.
- 11:17Speaker 9: Thanks Zach for Ricky, Zach and Menno in the Morning.
- 11:20Speaker 2: On eighty four percent of respondents agree that scary movies
- 11:26Speaker 2: are a staple of the Halloween season, So we want
- 11:29Speaker 2: some recommendations right now on one oh seven five the River,
- 11:32Speaker 2: I need some spooky movies to watch.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Sure, Yeah, Ricky and I were chatting about this, and
- 11:37Speaker 1: I feel like everything I've seen from the last few years, like,
- 11:41Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know, I don't know if
- 11:42Speaker 1: it's worth a recommendation.
- 11:43Speaker 4: I feel like they're not making great ones anymore. But
- 11:45Speaker 4: I could just be wrong about that. I could be
- 11:47Speaker 4: missing them.
- 11:47Speaker 2: See I watch the same ones every year, and even
- 11:50Speaker 2: though I'm going to still watch them.
- 11:51Speaker 3: I want some new ones, like what am I missing?
- 11:53Speaker 2: What is a good spooky movie that I should watch?
- 11:56Speaker 2: And considering that this survey the majority of people said
- 11:59Speaker 2: that this is the staple of I figured there's got
- 12:01Speaker 2: to be people who have recommendations, right.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Absolutely, six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Ricky's looking for new spooky movies to watch this month.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Let us know what your recommendations would.
- 12:12Speaker 9: Be, Ricky, Zach and Mennow in the morning.
- 12:17Speaker 4: It's that time of year.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Friends, It's one of seven, five the river, the pumpkins
- 12:21Speaker 1: are out.
- 12:21Speaker 4: It's spooky season.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Ricky's looking for some new recommendations scary movies to watch
- 12:25Speaker 1: at home.
- 12:26Speaker 4: We have Clay in Nashville on the line. Clay, what
- 12:29Speaker 4: do you say to Ricky? Uh, I guess slender Man.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Slender Man, slender Man, Oh, slender Man.
- 12:36Speaker 5: Say it's super spooky.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I have not seen it, but I know what slender
- 12:40Speaker 2: Man is because I remember this being a big deal
- 12:42Speaker 2: when I was younger, that everybody was afraid of slender Man.
- 12:46Speaker 8: It's the thing, I will say.
- 12:47Speaker 6: I just looked it up and it looks absolutely horrifying
- 12:50Speaker 6: just from the images.
- 12:51Speaker 7: I'm gonna watch it.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I don't mean to like be the wet blanket here
- 12:54Speaker 1: or anything, but Ricky, does it affect you at all
- 12:55Speaker 1: that it has an eight percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.
- 12:59Speaker 3: No, I think I'm gonna anyways.
- 13:00Speaker 2: It doesn't need to have a good Rotten Tomatoes, you
- 13:03Speaker 2: know rating, but it needs to be recommended by somebody else.
- 13:07Speaker 3: And Clay and Mom, Mom, what's your name?
- 13:10Speaker 9: Candy?
- 13:11Speaker 3: Okay, Clay and Candy say slender Man. So I'm gonna
- 13:13Speaker 3: watch slender Man.
- 13:14Speaker 4: All right, Thank you, guys.
- 13:16Speaker 9: You'll be scared.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Have a good day.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Bye, guys.
- 13:18Speaker 1: It's only that is one one percent lower than Zach's
- 13:21Speaker 1: favorite movie, norbit.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Amy and Lafaye. Tell us what movie you think we
- 13:29Speaker 2: should watch? Well, specifically me, because I'm the one looking
- 13:31Speaker 2: for spooky movies.
- 13:32Speaker 4: I literally just had this conversation with my stusband last
- 13:35Speaker 4: night about having our kids watch it.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Darkness False. It's the horror version of the Toothbaerry.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Oh okay, if you see her.
- 13:46Speaker 2: If you see her, she will kill you, but she
- 13:50Speaker 2: cannot go into the light.
- 13:51Speaker 5: When I first saw this, when I was about ten,
- 13:54Speaker 5: I literally slept with every.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Light on in the house that sounds very scary for
- 13:59Speaker 1: a kid, it was awesome.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Amy, You're like me.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I used to always watch the scary movies. We had
- 14:05Speaker 2: this whole thing with our dad of like, you can't
- 14:08Speaker 2: scare us, No movie can scare us, even though we
- 14:10Speaker 2: would be terrified every time.
- 14:11Speaker 3: We'd watch a horror movie every time.
- 14:14Speaker 2: And then you watch like Garfield afterwards, yourself feel better? Yes,
- 14:20Speaker 2: good thoughts to go to bed.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Thank you for calling. We appreciate your input.
- 14:25Speaker 9: Good thing you too.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I don't mean to be that guy, but Darkness Falls
- 14:28Speaker 1: has a ten percent on Rotten Tomato.
- 14:30Speaker 7: Yeah, neither of them look really good on Rotten Tomatoes.
- 14:33Speaker 3: That's okay. Sometimes we're on tomatoes. Gets it wrong.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I mean, like we talked about Zach's favorite movie. Norbit
- 14:39Speaker 2: has like an eight percent rating, has.
- 14:40Speaker 6: A nine percent get it correct, So sorry, I'm ninety
- 14:45Speaker 6: nine percent because they got it so wrong.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Ricky, I want to dial this in on like your
- 14:49Speaker 1: personal preferences though, Like do you do like the conjuring
- 14:52Speaker 1: and stuff like that?
- 14:53Speaker 3: Oh no, no, no, no no.
- 14:54Speaker 2: You girl very much knows that spirits are real, and
- 14:58Speaker 2: I do not watch anything that has to do with
- 15:00Speaker 2: spirits because I don't mess with that.
- 15:02Speaker 1: You're more of like a slasher film for like you
- 15:04Speaker 1: like the screen movies and Halloween and stuff like that.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Yeah, gory, not necessarily gory, but like slasher films. Totally
- 15:10Speaker 2: into that. I'm also into like anything that's super like
- 15:15Speaker 2: mysterious but also has some like horror into it too,
- 15:18Speaker 2: like a mystery but it ends up like a horror film.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Okay, kind of vibe.
- 15:22Speaker 6: Well, don't come to my house because my boyfriend does
- 15:24Speaker 6: not allow any scary movies on the TV because he
- 15:26Speaker 6: is one hundred percent convinced that.
- 15:28Speaker 4: It leaves bad juju in the house.
- 15:30Speaker 7: And he's like, no, I don't want that in my house.
- 15:32Speaker 3: I get it to an extent because I don't watch anything.
- 15:34Speaker 2: That has to do with like spirits or you know,
- 15:36Speaker 2: any kind of Yeah, possession.
- 15:39Speaker 4: Sure, we have more time.
- 15:40Speaker 1: If you have more recommendations, we'll take them six one five, seven,
- 15:43Speaker 1: three seven nine one oh seven plus your Jonas Brothers
- 15:45Speaker 1: tickets are on the way, Ricky, what's behind behind?
- 15:50Speaker 3: I cannot.
- 15:53Speaker 9: The river?
- 15:53Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Manow in the morning Data in Nashville.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Welcome to one O seven five the River, and thank
- 15:58Speaker 3: you for holding on.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Yeah, of course you have a recommendation for me of
- 16:02Speaker 2: a spooky movie I should watch.
- 16:04Speaker 5: Yes, Okay, So I love horror movies and most of
- 16:07Speaker 5: them don't scare me. But there's this one movie called
- 16:10Speaker 5: The Ritual and it's about four frands I go to Norway,
- 16:15Speaker 5: and I will say it starts super slow, so you've
- 16:18Speaker 5: got to hang it in there, but the last fifteen
- 16:20Speaker 5: minutes is too scary.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Looks like it's on Netflix, and this one is actually
- 16:24Speaker 1: highly rated. So wow, that's a good suggestion.
- 16:26Speaker 5: I love scaring movies. I am rarely very like. Most
- 16:30Speaker 5: don't scare me, but that one keep me on.
- 16:33Speaker 2: I'm gonna watch it, and I appreciate you letting me
- 16:35Speaker 2: know too that it's a slow build, because if it's
- 16:39Speaker 2: a slow building, nobody tells me that I'm gonna probably
- 16:41Speaker 2: shut it off.
- 16:42Speaker 3: So thank you Jada for that little tipping.
- 16:44Speaker 5: Of course, enjoy it, Thank you, love, have a great day.
- 16:48Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Fight And it says horror mystery, Ricky, which and that's
- 16:51Speaker 1: what I was just talking about, Ashley and Westmoreland.
- 16:55Speaker 2: What spooky spooky horror film should I watch?
- 16:58Speaker 4: No, I've not seen it, but it just came out.
- 17:01Speaker 5: It's called good Boy the Dog. Wow it dog, Yes,
- 17:07Speaker 5: and I actually just go with it before I called in.
- 17:11Speaker 9: I think ninety one.
- 17:13Speaker 7: It does have a ninety one on Rotten Tomatoes. That's
- 17:15Speaker 7: the highest one yet.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:17Speaker 6: Okay, yeah, it's a pretty short film. It's not only
- 17:20Speaker 6: an hour and thirteen minutes.
- 17:22Speaker 4: In dog years, that's like seven and a half hours.
- 17:25Speaker 9: I know.
- 17:26Speaker 3: Actually, thank you for the suggestion.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I haven't heard of this film yet, but I'm going
- 17:30Speaker 2: to watch the trailer and I'm gonna go watch it
- 17:33Speaker 2: whenever I can.
- 17:34Speaker 6: It literally just came out on October third, so like
- 17:36Speaker 6: five days ago.
- 17:37Speaker 4: It's really new.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Okay, awesome, thank you, Ashley.
- 17:40Speaker 8: Yeah, it's not a problem.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I didn't want to see the movie because it looks different.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I've never seen a movie like that before. I like
- 17:44Speaker 1: when people are trying new things.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I it's all about this dog, like
- 17:49Speaker 2: he's a it's through.
- 17:50Speaker 1: The eyes of a dog. I think the whole movie
- 17:52Speaker 1: is through the eyes of a dog, like his.
- 17:53Speaker 4: Perspective on something.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Okay, heck yeah, adding it to the list.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Thanks to everybody for calling for the suggestions, and hit
- 18:00Speaker 1: up Ricky on Instagram if you have more for her.
- 18:02Speaker 1: At that chick Ricky, and we have your Jonas Brothers

- 18:48Speaker 1: I'm forty eight, I'm forty.
- 18:50Speaker 9: I don't set here.

- 18:54Speaker 4: out of the park.

- 19:14Speaker 3: No, he was on the show.
- 19:18Speaker 4: He was so in love with Katie Holmes.
- 19:19Speaker 1: He was there talking about his new relationship and he
- 19:21Speaker 1: stood up on the couch he was jumping. Everybody's made
- 19:23Speaker 1: so much fun of him. I think maybe even like
- 19:25Speaker 1: his publicist was fired after that.
- 19:26Speaker 4: It was a whole thing.
- 19:29Speaker 5: It was crazy. It was crazy. I remember it.

- 20:28Speaker 5: Miley Cyrus Panna Montana back in the day.
- 20:30Speaker 7: I am honestly at all that sounds like my dream concert.

- 20:59Speaker 9: Three things you need to know.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Thank you so much for starting your day with us
- 21:03Speaker 1: over here at the River. We truly appreciate that. And
- 21:05Speaker 1: Ricky Sanchez has.
- 21:06Speaker 4: Your three things.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Dolly Parton's sister has apologized for scaring fans so Dolly's sister,
- 21:11Speaker 2: Freda sparked a bit.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Of panic yesterday.
- 21:13Speaker 2: She posted social media asking fans to pray for her sister,
- 21:17Speaker 2: as she hasn't been feeling great lately. She recently, Dolly
- 21:21Speaker 2: had recently postponed her shows in Vegas for a few
- 21:24Speaker 2: procedures that she needs done based on her doctor's suggestions.
- 21:28Speaker 2: So now her sister Freda is apologizing for scaring fans
- 21:31Speaker 2: who all flock to her post and worry that something
- 21:34Speaker 2: terrible had happened to Dolly. She cleared the her by
- 21:37Speaker 2: saying that you know, Dolly's just a little bit under
- 21:39Speaker 2: the weather end quote. It was nothing more than a
- 21:41Speaker 2: little sister asking for prayers for her big sister. So
- 21:45Speaker 2: nothing bad is happening. Everybody, you know, take a deep breath.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Dolly's okay. She just needs to get.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Through whatever's going on right now where she's a little
- 21:52Speaker 3: o inder the weather.
- 21:53Speaker 4: That's all I'll say.
- 21:54Speaker 1: I think I pray for Dolly every day, every day,
- 21:56Speaker 1: all day, just because she's Dolly.
- 21:57Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, that makes sense.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Yeah this we cannot lose Dolly or anything bad happened
- 22:02Speaker 2: to Dolly. So yes, I understand why everybody got nervous,
- 22:05Speaker 2: But she's okay. Fido in Hillsboro Village has posted the
- 22:09Speaker 2: cafes planned closure, so a post one up on the
- 22:12Speaker 2: wall of Fidoh with a message from the founder stating
- 22:15Speaker 2: that the cafe will close June first of twenty twenty eight,
- 22:18Speaker 2: which would be.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Thirty years since it opened.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Part of the notice said quote, I don't want our
- 22:23Speaker 2: closing to be a sudden, sad thing. I want these
- 22:25Speaker 2: last years, months, days, minutes and seconds to.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Be a reflection and celebration. So there's like a little ticker.
- 22:32Speaker 2: On top of the poster of accountdown to the day
- 22:34Speaker 2: that they're going to end up closing their doors. This
- 22:37Speaker 2: is a very unique way to let people know when
- 22:39Speaker 2: they're closing. Typically it comes very sudden. In the post,
- 22:42Speaker 2: they do mention that that the normal way that people
- 22:45Speaker 2: close is very sudden and it brings on a lot of,
- 22:47Speaker 2: you know, sadness, and that's why they want to do things.
- 22:49Speaker 3: A little differently.
- 22:50Speaker 2: I will post the full excerpt that they had posted
- 22:54Speaker 2: the full statement on our Instagram post at one O
- 22:57Speaker 2: seven five the River in our Instagram stories. But go
- 23:00Speaker 2: support Fido in the last bit that we get of
- 23:03Speaker 2: Fido here in Nashville and bar streams are the new
- 23:08Speaker 2: way to get your drama fix. A Florida bar called
- 23:11Speaker 2: Elbow Room in Fort Lauderdale has been live streaming since
- 23:14Speaker 2: nineteen ninety six, but it's recently gone super viral on
- 23:17Speaker 2: TikTok and people are calling it their favorite show. So
- 23:20Speaker 2: the live stream has no audio, so viewers are getting
- 23:22Speaker 2: really creative with what they think is actually happening at
- 23:25Speaker 2: this bar. But there is a two ninety nine per
- 23:27Speaker 2: month subscription that you could do to get audio access
- 23:31Speaker 2: to see what people are saying. And it's not just
- 23:34Speaker 2: Elbowroom that are doing this. There's a lot of other
- 23:36Speaker 2: bars that are doing the same thing. But this is
- 23:38Speaker 2: how people are getting their fix for like drama and
- 23:41Speaker 2: reality TV because it's actual reality TV.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Nothing's being planned. It's kind of crazy.
- 23:47Speaker 4: It's going nuts on TikTok.
- 23:48Speaker 3: You should check it out. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those
- 23:50Speaker 3: are the three things you need to know.
- 23:52Speaker 9: Priiki, Zach and Meno in the morning on one oh
- 23:54Speaker 9: seven five.
- 23:56Speaker 4: The River. What are you embarrassed to buy at the store?
- 24:01Speaker 1: I can't be the only one that feels a little,
- 24:04Speaker 1: you know, embarrassed to walk around with a big.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Thing of toilet paper in my cart. I feel like
- 24:08Speaker 4: people just see it and think, like, oh, that.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Guy's really got to go whatever they think, and it's
- 24:12Speaker 1: it's a little embarrassing for me?
- 24:13Speaker 4: So what is it for you, Zach? Mine is medicine.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Medicine.
- 24:18Speaker 6: Yeah, Like, whenever I'm like in the cold and flu section,
- 24:21Speaker 6: I'm buying like news and next I want to be like,
- 24:22Speaker 6: I'm not gonna get you sick, Like I'm not sick,
- 24:25Speaker 6: Like I'm just buying medicine.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Huh.
- 24:27Speaker 6: Like I feel self conscious, okay, yeah, Like I feel
- 24:29Speaker 6: like people are like running and I'm like, it's fine,
- 24:31Speaker 6: I promise, I'm okay.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Interesting, all right?
- 24:34Speaker 2: What is it that embarrasses you to buy at the
- 24:37Speaker 2: grocery store six one five seven, three seven nine one
- 24:40Speaker 2: oh seven toilet paper?
- 24:42Speaker 3: Medications? What else could there be?
- 24:45Speaker 1: These guys are making me feel crazy about my toilet
- 24:46Speaker 1: paper thing, but I know I'm not alone.
- 24:48Speaker 4: What is it for you? What are you embarrassed to buy?
- 24:49Speaker 9: Let us know, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 24:52Speaker 2: On what are you embarrassed to buy at the grocery store?
- 24:57Speaker 3: The convenience store? It's one o seven five the river.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Kevin gets really embarrassed to buy toilet paper for some reason.
- 25:03Speaker 4: I put it in my cart last because I don't
- 25:05Speaker 4: want to walk around the store with it.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Zach it doesn't like to buy medication.
- 25:09Speaker 6: I just feel like people are staring at me, like,
- 25:11Speaker 6: oh no, he's gonna get me sick, and I'm like,
- 25:13Speaker 6: I'm fine.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Howie and Smirna, what is it for you that you
- 25:15Speaker 2: don't like to buy when you're out at the store.
- 25:18Speaker 8: Cat food?
- 25:19Speaker 3: Why cat food?
- 25:20Speaker 8: You know, my friend's gonna be a hard time about
- 25:22Speaker 8: being a cat guy. It's embarrassing. But I just love felines,
- 25:27Speaker 8: and I feel like people are judging me when I'm
- 25:29Speaker 8: at the store when I buy a cat food, and
- 25:31Speaker 8: I'm just like this creepy cat guy.
- 25:32Speaker 3: But I'm not.
- 25:33Speaker 8: I'm not a creepy cat guy. I'm just a normal guy.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Normal guy who likes cats.
- 25:37Speaker 2: You're just a cat dad cat like cat's plural, cat's guy.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Never enough enough, Okay, it's starting to sound a little creepy.
- 25:49Speaker 1: We're having a little therapy session here though, because I
- 25:52Speaker 1: know that my toilet paper thing is irrational, and I
- 25:54Speaker 1: just want to put your mind it is. How nobody
- 25:56Speaker 1: is judging you for buying cat food.
- 25:57Speaker 8: It sure feels like it.
- 25:59Speaker 3: No, I think you're okay.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I think you're you're taking care of your pets, and
- 26:02Speaker 2: that's a good thing.
- 26:02Speaker 3: If you weren't buying your.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Cats plural food, that would be a little more concerning.
- 26:07Speaker 8: Howie, What if I was buying the cat food for myself?
- 26:10Speaker 3: That would be a whole nother discussion.
- 26:12Speaker 7: How did they know none of their business?
- 26:14Speaker 4: That's right? And I guess now I'm trying to get
- 26:16Speaker 4: a visual.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Here is the cart just completely full of cat food,
- 26:20Speaker 1: because that'd be a different story.
- 26:21Speaker 8: Cat food, you know, wet andra, cat nip, cat toys,
- 26:25Speaker 8: just a lot of cat stuff.
- 26:27Speaker 3: You know, Howie, I think we're gonna stop asking questions
- 26:29Speaker 3: because I.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Think we're getting on their drink of Yeah, we're gonna
- 26:33Speaker 2: get to the judging point.
- 26:34Speaker 4: We don't want to judge. You know, we're not at
- 26:35Speaker 4: all buy your.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Cats the cat food or yourself. I guess whatever.
- 26:39Speaker 8: Works, have a great meal day.
- 26:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna let Kevin explain why he decided to pick
- 26:49Speaker 2: today's daily double tap on one of seven five of
- 26:52Speaker 2: the River, because I feel like he's giving a warning
- 26:55Speaker 2: to Zach and I specifically, Yeah, go ahead, keV.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Tells, interesting, it's interesting that you feel that way. I
- 27:00Speaker 1: really was not thinking of our personal relationship when I
- 27:03Speaker 1: landed on this DDC. Okay, but I thought it would
- 27:06Speaker 1: just be a good PSA for everybody because there is
- 27:08Speaker 1: a date coming up that I was fully unaware of.
- 27:11Speaker 1: So when I heard this, I was like, oh my god,
- 27:13Speaker 1: we got to alert the masses.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Here we go. Today's daily double Tap.
- 27:16Speaker 8: National Slap your Coworker Day is on Thursday October twenty
- 27:19Speaker 8: third this year. So if you're thinking about it and
- 27:21Speaker 8: you're realizing, hey, I actually don't have anybody I want
- 27:23Speaker 8: to slap, you probably don't want to go into work
- 27:26Speaker 8: that day.
- 27:27Speaker 4: It's great advice, feels like a warning. It does.
- 27:29Speaker 7: October twenty third, Kevin Man, I watch your back.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Oh now he's doing the warning back to you.
- 27:36Speaker 1: This is really just supposed to be for everybody that
- 27:38Speaker 1: works around people they might want to slap.
- 27:40Speaker 4: I don't have that problem. I cannot relate to this.
- 27:42Speaker 7: See then maybe you shouldn't.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Show felt pot I want right into it. That was
- 27:48Speaker 4: the whole point of the thing.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I we'll post a video on our Instagram stories at
- 27:52Speaker 1: one O seven five The River. If you want to
- 27:54Speaker 1: share it with the coworker, perhaps give him a warning.
- 27:57Speaker 9: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning on one O
- 28:00Speaker 9: seven five The River
