- Sue: I'm expressing gratitude today for two friends who are removing three large bits of my husband's estate for their youth. My husband has been dead for over four years and was a woodworker. And today marks the day that the dust extraction system, the digital lathe, and his sail-making sewing machine go to their homes. And this sort of ends the confirmation with a woodpecker. This sort of ends the distribution of my husband's estate for the most part and represents an opportunity to live with more space in our life, Rita and myself. Given that I live in a home that was built originally for summer use, there aren't a lot of built-ins or closets. So when you have machinery taking up a certain footprint in a reasonably small house, it's quite impactful when those items are removed. And I'm most grateful for the fact that they're going to be used and appreciated by his friends. And it's sort of that mindset of when you rid yourself of material belongings, it opens up your mind in a very healthy way. That's my opinion. I value having spaces around me. I wouldn't say that I'm living a Spartan life, but I certainly don't need the material belongings that I don't use cluttering my life. This is just a short expression of gratitude to those friends and a gratitude to you. for sharing the thought that I have. And if you resonate with this, I'm grateful. So thank you for listening.
