- 0:57Speaker 3: God reveals why judgment was coming up on Judah. Now,
- 1:03Speaker 3: the people had rejected God's authority. They ignored his warnings,
- 1:09Speaker 3: and they fell in love with deception, and they also
- 1:14Speaker 3: embraced false religion. But even in the midst of judgment,
- 1:20Speaker 3: we continue to see Guy's mercy and his patients. In
- 1:23Speaker 3: today's message is called and astonishing and horrible thing. So

- 3:23Speaker 3: go before our father in prayer. Family, Father, we thank
- 3:29Speaker 3: you for a brand new day. Father, you allowed us
- 3:32Speaker 3: to wake up today. We ask Father God that We
- 3:35Speaker 3: will take advantage of the opportunity to get right with
- 3:38Speaker 3: you today, to surrender our hearts, to surrender our personalities
- 3:43Speaker 3: over to the Holy Spirit, that you can have our
- 3:46Speaker 3: whole heart, that nothing in us belongs to the enemy.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Oh God, we apply the bloody Jesus. We revoke any
- 3:53Speaker 3: legal rights, any legal license the enemy has to operate
- 3:57Speaker 3: in our lives. The blood of Jesus cleanses us and
- 4:02Speaker 3: washes us. The blood of Jesus speaks louder than any condemnation.
- 4:09Speaker 3: We thank you for your love and your grace. We
- 4:11Speaker 3: ask it you'll bless the hearer today. We least breakthrough
- 4:16Speaker 3: through this podcast and revival. And we asked this in
- 4:21Speaker 3: Jesus' name. Amen. All right, all right, belove it. Well,
- 4:31Speaker 3: let's dive into it. We will finish Jeremiah chapter five.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Like I said a little earlier, we're moving through the
- 4:41Speaker 3: Book of Jeremiah. I'm excited about this book. I believe
- 4:47Speaker 3: that our country is parallel to the Book of Jeremiah.
- 4:51Speaker 3: I believe that America is on the decline morally, spiritually,
- 4:56Speaker 3: and it's only a matter of time before it's physically.
- 5:01Speaker 3: But my prayer is that we can turn it around
- 5:03Speaker 3: at least delay it so that we could save as
- 5:08Speaker 3: many souls as we can, so that we can see
- 5:10Speaker 3: a great revival in this nation. And I pray that
- 5:16Speaker 3: this book will help us, will be the map and
- 5:22Speaker 3: lead us in his word, that God will lead us
- 5:24Speaker 3: in his word, all right. Chapter eighteen through nineteen says nevertheless,
- 5:32Speaker 3: in those days, says the Lord, I will not make
- 5:36Speaker 3: a complete end of you. And it will not, and
- 5:40Speaker 3: it will be when you say, why does the Lord,
- 5:43Speaker 3: our God do all these things to us? Then you
- 5:48Speaker 3: shall answer them, just as you have forsaken me and
- 5:52Speaker 3: serve foreign gods in your land, so you shall serve
- 5:57Speaker 3: aliens in a land that is not yours. Wow, that
- 6:02Speaker 3: is deep. All right, We need to listen up, belove it. Now.
- 6:09Speaker 3: God is announcing judgment right here, but he also promises
- 6:14Speaker 3: not to destroy the people completely. God will always have
- 6:18Speaker 3: a remnant. And they will ask at one point why is
- 6:23Speaker 3: this happening? In God? Right here he gives an answer
- 6:27Speaker 3: before they even asked the question. Right now, the suffering
- 6:33Speaker 3: was a result of their rebellion. God is always just.
- 6:43Speaker 3: This exile to the nation of Israel was not just
- 6:48Speaker 3: a random punishment. Wasn't because God was feeling a certain
- 6:52Speaker 3: type of way one day. No, this was the consequence
- 6:58Speaker 3: of generations of rejecting thank God. And they also embraced
- 7:03Speaker 3: idols and served other gods, which was completely disrespectful unto
- 7:11Speaker 3: the God of Israel. Now, one of the hardest lessons
- 7:19Speaker 3: in life is to take accountability and responsibility. If we
- 7:24Speaker 3: can accept responsibility in our own lives, we would be
- 7:31Speaker 3: further off in life, and a lot of the struggles
- 7:36Speaker 3: and delays in life would not have happened. It's one
- 7:40Speaker 3: of the things that I try to tell my children
- 7:43Speaker 3: when something When let's say, we tell them, you know,
- 7:47Speaker 3: let's get the kitchen clean, and it's everyone is responsible.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Then the kitchen designate clean and it's time for the consequences.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Then the children start to blame each other. When I
- 8:01Speaker 3: explained to them, no, everyone was responsible. You can't say
- 8:05Speaker 3: because so and so didn't do it is the reason
- 8:08Speaker 3: why it didn't get done. No, you were supposed to
- 8:11Speaker 3: do it. And that's a principle in life that if
- 8:15Speaker 3: you learn early in life, we would be better off
- 8:18Speaker 3: for it. When we ask God why is this happening,
- 8:23Speaker 3: sometimes the answer can be spiritual warfare, or sometimes God
- 8:28Speaker 3: could just be testing us. But other times it's the
- 8:34Speaker 3: consequences of the choices that we've made, and God wanted
- 8:40Speaker 3: Judah to know the truth of the matter. Hey Man
- 8:46Speaker 3: twenty five, declared this in the house of Judah, and
- 8:51Speaker 3: proclaim it in Judah. I mean, declare this in the
- 8:54Speaker 3: house of Jacob, and proclaim it in Judah, saying here
- 9:00Speaker 3: this now, old foolish people without understanding. Why have eyes?
- 9:07Speaker 3: Who have eyes and who see not? And who have ears?
- 9:11Speaker 3: And hear not? Do you not hear me? Says the Lord?
- 9:16Speaker 3: Will you not tremble at my presence? Who have placed
- 9:22Speaker 3: the saying as the bound of the sea by the
- 9:27Speaker 3: perpetual decree, that it cannot pass beyond it. And though
- 9:33Speaker 3: it's waves tossed to and fro, yet they cannot prevail.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Though they roar, yet they cannot pass over it. But
- 9:44Speaker 3: this people has a defiant and rebellious heart. They have
- 9:51Speaker 3: revolted and departed. They do not say in their heart.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Let us now fear the Lord, our God, who gives
- 9:59Speaker 3: rain both the farmer and the former, in the latter
- 10:05Speaker 3: in its season he receives for us the appointed week
- 10:12Speaker 3: of the harvest. For iniquities have turned those things away,
- 10:19Speaker 3: and your sins have withheld good from you. All right,
- 10:24Speaker 3: belove it. Let's break this down also. Now God points
- 10:28Speaker 3: out creation right, how creation is evidence of his mighty power.
- 10:36Speaker 3: How the might and great ocean obeys him. How the
- 10:41Speaker 3: seasons just think about it, summer, rain, winter, fall, all
- 10:49Speaker 3: the seasons obey him. I believe when I read this,
- 10:53Speaker 3: I think of there's a point. I don't know where
- 10:55Speaker 3: it's at, but I believe there's a point in the
- 10:59Speaker 3: ocean where the water's changed. Like you got like a
- 11:03Speaker 3: light blue and like almost a dark black, uh water,
- 11:10Speaker 3: And there's on line, like you can see the color
- 11:12Speaker 3: color line. It's like a big line in the ocean,
- 11:16Speaker 3: and you can see where the waters don't pass over
- 11:19Speaker 3: each other. It's like they meet right there and they
- 11:23Speaker 3: just stop. And just think about it. What is stopping
- 11:27Speaker 3: the ocean from wiping out the world? Right, Like when
- 11:31Speaker 3: you're on the beach. I love going to the beach,
- 11:34Speaker 3: but you look at how massive the ocean really is.
- 11:39Speaker 3: What is there to stop that water from just flooding
- 11:44Speaker 3: the land like it did in the days of Noah.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Because the great and mighty ocean even obeys the voice
- 11:52Speaker 3: of God and he's trouble. He's having trouble with us.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Nature responds to his commands, yet his people refused to obey,
- 12:04Speaker 3: like who are we? That is humbling. Creation itself testifies
- 12:12Speaker 3: to God's authority and sovereignty. The tragedy was that nature
- 12:18Speaker 3: obeyed God better than his covenant people did. This is amazing.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Seasons arrive when when God commands them to, yet human
- 12:34Speaker 3: beings often resist him. Now, the problem wasn't the lack
- 12:43Speaker 3: of evidence. The problem was they lacked reverence. Let that
- 12:51Speaker 3: not be two of our own lives, right. Let us
- 12:55Speaker 3: reverence and honor the Lord, our God. This reminds me,
- 13:02Speaker 3: I forget what beach we were in. I think we
- 13:04Speaker 3: were at Lake Tahoe, and right there written on the beach,
- 13:13Speaker 3: I don't know if it was on a bench or something,
- 13:17Speaker 3: and it says the wind in the waves obey him,
- 13:20Speaker 3: or it might have been in California. I saw that.
- 13:25Speaker 3: I'll never forget that. There's scriptures right there, right on
- 13:28Speaker 3: the beach, even the winds and the waves obey him.
- 13:32Speaker 3: That was pretty bold. That was awesome, all right. Twenty
- 13:40Speaker 3: six and twenty eight four, among black people are found
- 13:46Speaker 3: wicked men. They lie and weight as one who sets snares.
- 13:53Speaker 3: They set a trap. They catch men as a cage
- 13:58Speaker 3: is full of birds. So their houses are full of deceit.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Therefore they have become great and grown rich. They have
- 14:11Speaker 3: grown fat, they are sleek. Yes, they surpass the deeds
- 14:17Speaker 3: of the wicked. They do not plead the cause, the
- 14:22Speaker 3: cause of the fatherless. Yet they prosper and the right
- 14:29Speaker 3: of the needy. They do not defend. This is good.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Now God is exposing the corruption of the people, the
- 14:39Speaker 3: corruption of the nation. They may be wealthy, but it
- 14:48Speaker 3: was through deceit, and they gained their riches through exploitation. Man,
- 14:56Speaker 3: do we see that today? How many rap videos incur
- 15:00Speaker 3: people to be corrupt, but then they flash their money.
- 15:06Speaker 3: They make them think that this is the way of prosperity,
- 15:10Speaker 3: by the way of drugs or exploiting. Women and the
- 15:19Speaker 3: vulnerable were ignored in the nation just and they didn't
- 15:25Speaker 3: care about justice. Right when justice flees in nation, we
- 15:30Speaker 3: are in big trouble when the courts are corrupted. Now,
- 15:37Speaker 3: one of the signs of spiritual decline is the mistreatment
- 15:43Speaker 3: of the poor, the needy, and the defenseless. Look at
- 15:48Speaker 3: how childhood trafficking is running rampant today. Look at how
- 15:57Speaker 3: people are losing their jobs left and right. People pople
- 16:00Speaker 3: are in destitute situations. God cares deeply about justice, family.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Real faith affects how we treat people. If our relationship
- 16:19Speaker 3: with God doesn't impact our compassion, generosity, and our integrity,
- 16:25Speaker 3: then something is seriously wrong with our faith. God will
- 16:33Speaker 3: always notice how we treat those who cannot repay us.
- 16:43Speaker 3: How do you treat those? How do you treat the poor?
- 16:47Speaker 3: How do you treat the needy? How do you treat those?
- 16:51Speaker 3: How do you fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.
- 16:54Speaker 3: I want to take a minute to give a huge
- 16:57Speaker 3: shout out to our brother Antipas in California. He's more
- 17:03Speaker 3: of a reggaetone gospel artists. If you will hear him
- 17:09Speaker 3: on the station, I play his stuff every Thursday. We
- 17:13Speaker 3: have a reggae section every Thursday about ten o'clock am
- 17:17Speaker 3: Pacific Standard time. If you listen to the his hot
- 17:21Speaker 3: radio station. And by the way, we do stream twenty
- 17:25Speaker 3: four to seven, so I hope that you check it out.
- 17:31Speaker 3: But he moved to California and he's tearing it up
- 17:35Speaker 3: over there, and they have a movement out there. Called
- 17:38Speaker 3: Save our Children, and they're pushing back against childhood trafficking
- 17:44Speaker 3: and things like that. These are the things that God
- 17:47Speaker 3: cares about, and we need to support this. We need
- 17:52Speaker 3: to support the heart of God. So I don't know
- 17:56Speaker 3: if we can hit him up, if there's a way
- 17:59Speaker 3: that we can don it to the cause, or if
- 18:02Speaker 3: you're out there in California. I've seen them in the
- 18:07Speaker 3: Compton area. But if you look up Antipas and what
- 18:12Speaker 3: I'll do is I'll try to find a link or something.
- 18:14Speaker 3: I'll put it on our website. Go and help, Go
- 18:18Speaker 3: and volunteer, Go and hold up some signs, go and
- 18:21Speaker 3: get involved. But if you can't see if you can
- 18:24Speaker 3: find a way to donate and support that. We need
- 18:28Speaker 3: to take up these causes that God cares about. A man,
- 18:33Speaker 3: we need to stop the corruption, stand against the corruption.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Then it's renting rampant in our country. Twenty nine Shall
- 18:45Speaker 3: I not punish them for these things? Says the Lord?
- 18:49Speaker 3: Shall I not avenge myself on such a nation as this? Wow?
- 18:55Speaker 3: Now that should cause us to tremble. Right, God here
- 19:03Speaker 3: is asking a rhetorical question. Just justice. If I can
- 19:10Speaker 3: get my lips to work, justice demands accountability.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Right.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Accountability could be favorable or it could be unfavorable. Depends
- 19:25Speaker 3: on our life choices. Right, God loves. God's love neither
- 19:36Speaker 3: cancels his holiness. Let me say that again. God's love
- 19:42Speaker 3: will never cancel his holiness. God is both merciful and just.
- 19:52Speaker 3: We often celebrate God's mercy, and rightly so. But God
- 19:59Speaker 3: is all soul righteous. A holy God cannot simply ignore
- 20:06Speaker 3: persistent rebellion forever. He has to act thirty and thirty
- 20:15Speaker 3: one as astonishing and astonishing and horrible thing has been
- 20:23Speaker 3: committed in the land. The prophets prophesied falsely, and the
- 20:28Speaker 3: priests rule by their own power. And my people love
- 20:34Speaker 3: to have it, soul, But what will you do in
- 20:39Speaker 3: the end? Wow, this is getting real, beloved now, this
- 20:46Speaker 3: is one of the most powerful verses in the Book
- 20:49Speaker 3: of Jeremiah. The prophets, the false prophets, All they do
- 20:55Speaker 3: is lie. The last thing you want to do is
- 21:01Speaker 3: be around a lying profit. Corrupt leaders will abuse their authority,
- 21:14Speaker 3: and the people preferred it that way. The people were
- 21:20Speaker 3: happy with corrupted leadership. We need to pray for our
- 21:26Speaker 3: president in the White House. We better make sure that
- 21:34Speaker 3: we do not settle ourselves for corrupted leadership. Now, false teachers,
- 21:52Speaker 3: they thrive when people desire comfortable lies more than uncomfortable truth.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Give me uncomfortable truth any day over being comfortable in
- 22:08Speaker 3: my sin or even in my own deception. Amen. Now,
- 22:15Speaker 3: the real tragedy wasn't merely the false prophets. The tragedy
- 22:20Speaker 3: was that the people loved to hear their deception. I
- 22:25Speaker 3: often wonder why do false pastors become so successful in
- 22:34Speaker 3: false prophets. Why do they prosper so much? It's because
- 22:38Speaker 3: the people love to support them. We love it. Be
- 22:42Speaker 3: careful who you support. And I'm not trying to make
- 22:47Speaker 3: a plug for his hot nation. But we have been
- 22:51Speaker 3: faithful to proclaim the truth. We've been faithful to proclaim
- 22:54Speaker 3: the word. That's why we go verse by verse, chapter
- 22:57Speaker 3: by chapter. You might hear so of my life experiences,
- 23:02Speaker 3: but I often do not give my own opinion. Now,
- 23:05Speaker 3: when I do get my own opinion, I will preface
- 23:08Speaker 3: it with that. I will let you know this is
- 23:11Speaker 3: just my opinion. You could take it or leave it,
- 23:15Speaker 3: because I want to be faithful and divide the word
- 23:18Speaker 3: of truth rightly. But how much support do we get?
- 23:27Speaker 3: Who you support? Is an indication of your own heart.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Where do you what do you put your finances behind? Right? Like,
- 23:42Speaker 3: for instance, this platform has a lot because I understand
- 23:48Speaker 3: that we are competing against this culture, this social media culture,
- 23:55Speaker 3: this media culture. We have Facebook, Twitter, all these media
- 24:02Speaker 3: outlets different ways where we can listen and consume our music.
- 24:11Speaker 3: But do you consider who you're supporting? Now? I'm not
- 24:15Speaker 3: necessarily saying that it's bad to have a social media account.
- 24:21Speaker 3: I have them as well, but I have them for
- 24:23Speaker 3: the main purpose of fishing. God called us to be
- 24:26Speaker 3: fishers of men. I'm out there trying to catch fish,
- 24:32Speaker 3: and every once in a while I might pay to
- 24:35Speaker 3: run an add or something to bring attention back to
- 24:40Speaker 3: this platform. But think about it. When we are supporting
- 24:47Speaker 3: these worldly systems, we are supporting the b system. We
- 24:51Speaker 3: are supporting because if finances are going to go somewhere.
- 24:56Speaker 3: If we watch YouTube, then that's going to attract advertisers
- 25:00Speaker 3: to pay YouTube to exist and to make them wealthy. Now,
- 25:07Speaker 3: what does YouTube as an organization, what do they truly support?
- 25:13Speaker 3: Have we ever looked up who they are? Are they
- 25:18Speaker 3: supporting godly causes in the world, or are they supporting
- 25:22Speaker 3: demonic agendas in plotting our demise, and I just thought
- 25:34Speaker 3: that was interesting that these false prophets can prosper because
- 25:38Speaker 3: people love deception, love it. His hops should have been
- 25:44Speaker 3: reopened by now Club. His hop should have taken over
- 25:47Speaker 3: the strip if people really knew what they were truly supporting,
- 25:52Speaker 3: and if they conced into the spiritual realm and see
- 25:54Speaker 3: where their support is going. Is it going towards their
- 25:58Speaker 3: own destruction or is it to save lives and to
- 26:04Speaker 3: save souls? And you can look at it, look at
- 26:07Speaker 3: us like the fire department. We're coming to rescue people
- 26:10Speaker 3: from eternal fire, but yet people are slow to support.
- 26:17Speaker 3: I just thought that was interesting. And also a disclaimer.
- 26:21Speaker 3: I'm talking about his Hot Nation because I am the
- 26:24Speaker 3: president of this organization and we've been up and running
- 26:26Speaker 3: since twenty twelve. But there are other godly organizations out
- 26:32Speaker 3: there that we can support, like, for instance, our brother
- 26:35Speaker 3: Antipas over in California trying to save the children. Just
- 26:42Speaker 3: think about where your support is going. I mean that
- 26:48Speaker 3: hits hard today because many people they just don't want
- 26:52Speaker 3: biblical truth. They want messages that require no repentance, no sacrifice, accountability,
- 27:02Speaker 3: no conviction. But God's question still echoes through history. What
- 27:11Speaker 3: will you do in the end? That's a T shirt
- 27:16Speaker 3: right there. One day every person will stand before God.
- 27:24Speaker 3: And I say this often on this podcast, that we
- 27:27Speaker 3: have to give an account and only the Word of God,
- 27:31Speaker 3: the ungrafted word, is the only thing that can save
- 27:34Speaker 3: us on that day. One day, every person will stand
- 27:39Speaker 3: before God. Truth matters. How we live today matters, how
- 27:49Speaker 3: we believe matters, and that's why we must stay anchored
- 27:56Speaker 3: in the word. Amen. All right, let's take a break.
- 28:06Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 28:09Speaker 5: is the hiss Hop radio show.
- 28:17Speaker 3: That's that's hard.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I be praying like I'm throwing handstead of folded hands,
- 28:34Speaker 2: folded chairs.
- 28:35Speaker 5: After mis McMahon, how I'm going in?
- 28:37Speaker 3: What you wrestling there?
- 28:38Speaker 2: And take me in?
- 28:38Speaker 3: I live to help in hand with this open hand.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Is on Sunday and I've been waiting on a snack
- 28:43Speaker 2: the Lake Drive got a Homie backs Live and I'm

- 39:30Speaker 3: His Hop Nation. We are a five O one C three,
- 39:33Speaker 3: a public charity. We are a nonprofit organization. We're not
- 39:37Speaker 3: a church. We are an organization. We are a Christian club.
- 39:42Speaker 3: We started a club back in twenty twelve and we
- 39:46Speaker 3: had to shut it down in twenty eighteen because of
- 39:49Speaker 3: some financial issues. Different things were going on to where
- 39:54Speaker 3: we had to shut down the ministry. But I do
- 39:57Speaker 3: believe that God wants it. God wants his vision. You
- 40:03Speaker 3: want to rely to reopen this club, but I'm asking
- 40:07Speaker 3: for support from you, from y'all, from the people of God.
- 40:11Speaker 3: Two dollars a month, three dollars a month, a thousand

- 41:35Speaker 3: website his Hot nation dot com. Come to show some
- 41:39Speaker 3: love and now let me hit you with some final comments.
- 41:45Speaker 3: In a final prayer on today's episode, Jeremiah chapter five,
- 41:53Speaker 3: it ends with a serious warning, beloved, and the warning
- 42:00Speaker 3: is sobering. It tells us that God is patient, God
- 42:07Speaker 3: is merciful. God gives repeated opportunities to repent, but eventually
- 42:18Speaker 3: every person must answer God's question, what will you do
- 42:25Speaker 3: in the end? That is a question coming directly from God.
- 42:35Speaker 3: Will you follow truth? Or will you embrace comfortable deception.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Not only embrace it, will you fall in love with deception.
- 42:46Speaker 3: People are only deceived because they love it. People love
- 42:50Speaker 3: their deception, they love their corruption. We gotta be honest
- 42:56Speaker 3: in our hearts. We got to have integrity. We can
- 42:59Speaker 3: ask God to help us with this. We can ask
- 43:01Speaker 3: to Holy Spirit to give us the grace to flee
- 43:06Speaker 3: from deception and to embrace the truth. And then that
- 43:15Speaker 3: choice belongs to each and every one of us. We
- 43:19Speaker 3: all have this choice. Now, let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank
- 43:28Speaker 3: you for your patience and mercy. Help us love truth
- 43:34Speaker 3: more than comfort. Give us hearts that fear you, obey you,
- 43:41Speaker 3: and honor you. Protect us from deception and false teaching.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Help us stand firm on your word in a world
- 43:53Speaker 3: filled with compromise. And it's only by your grace, Ava.
- 44:00Speaker 3: We asked this in Jesus's mighty name. Amen, it's not
- 44:07Speaker 3: about us, It's all about the Christ in us.
- 44:23Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 44:27Speaker 5: is the Hiss Hop Radio show.
