- 1:01Moving it forward. Area 51.
- 1:04In the 1950s and 60s, multiple UFO sightings were reported
- 1:07around Area 51 in Nevada, a site used vicariously by the CIAUS,
- 1:13Air Force and Lockheed Martin. Don't know what those to test
- 1:16flights of experimental aircraft or black aircraft.
- 1:20Declassified documents show Area 51 was home to a Cold War
- 1:25program called OXCART, dedicated to creating a spy plane that
- 1:29would be undetectable in the air and could be used to gather
- 1:32information behind the Iron Curtain.
- 1:35The resulting SR71, Blackbird, F117, Nighthawk and Archangel
- 1:4112A12 travelled at speeds upwards of 2000 miles an hour.
- 1:46These mysterious planes helped fuel rumors that Area 51 was
- 1:50used to conduct experiments on extraterrestrial life and their
- 1:54spacecraft. Now, a couple of things about
- 1:57Area 51 is that obviously, I thought, I assume everyone knows
- 2:02this, but let's just delve into this.
- 2:04You can't get anywhere near Area 51 If you do, the government,
- 2:08Sorry, not the government, the Air Force.
- 2:11The military will shoot you down, like, you know, it's
- 2:14trespassing. They will arrest you.
- 2:17You know, there's people who tried to do just just drive even
- 2:21closest to it and they get followed by cars all the time.
- 2:25Even people just doing like very straightforward documentaries
- 2:28where they're maybe they're not even filming anywhere near,
- 2:31they're just trying to do like some desert shit and they get
- 2:34like followed and it's really, really creepy.
- 2:39And, you know, I mean, any place that it's not on Google Maps
- 2:43that you can't find it and you know, you're actively told you
- 2:49can't go anywhere towards and you're actively told that, you
- 2:52know, there's nothing to worry about here.
- 2:53It's just classified government stuff.
- 2:55You know, like nothing to tell you.
- 2:58Like obviously that's gonna promote people to think that
- 3:02maybe there's something going on.
- 3:04They keep telling us nothing's going on.
- 3:05Maybe something's going on, but bringing it to our conversation,
- 3:11what do you think the likelihood is that they've actually
- 3:17conducted experiments on extraterrestrial life, although
- 3:20this indeed is a hub for extraterrestrial activity in
- 3:25some shape or form. I think it's very, very possible
- 3:29that at one point in time they did the research there on
- 3:33whatever they have in their possession, but it seems likely
- 3:37to me that. Anything that as that is of very
- 3:41high importance has been moved elsewhere because it is just
- 3:45such common knowledge. Everyone associates aliens and
- 3:49UF O's with Area 51, even to the point that the surrounding like
- 3:54cities and towns there they have like.
- 3:59They have hotels and stuff. I think there's something that's
- 4:01called the little alien. Yeah, like, I mean, they're just
- 4:04straight up advertising, you know, aliens and Ufo's around
- 4:08the area. So to me it seems like they're
- 4:11probably moved. There are these things called
- 4:14Dumbs. Have you heard of them?
- 4:15D Umbs or D UMB would be the the acronym.
- 4:21Deep underground military base is what it stands for.
- 4:24I love that dumb. And yeah, right.
- 4:26It's awesome. I was.
- 4:28I was. I was thinking that you put in
- 4:30my leg, though. He's been serious.
- 4:31Dumb. Dumb this.
- 4:32Is kind of like if you ever seen Stranger Things.
- 4:35There's this one scene, I think in the most recent season where
- 4:38they're like in a desert and there's just a door in the
- 4:41middle of the desert. And they open the door and it
- 4:43leads to, you know, a staircase that goes downstairs,
- 4:46underground in the desert somewhere.
- 4:49Massive military base. So you don't really have.
- 4:52This big giant building or apparatus where it's obvious
- 4:56that there's a military base there.
- 4:58There's just like a random door in the desert leading to an
- 5:02underground base. Speaking of Stranger Things, I
- 5:05heard somewhere that that show is a loosely based on a true
- 5:09story as it. Wouldn't be surprised.
- 5:11Like not. I mean, I know everyone's good
- 5:13without what the fuck are you talking about, Christian again.
- 5:16But this idea that there was a small town somewhere in the
- 5:19States that had some sort of similar issue where the
- 5:25government kind of quarantined the specific town and there was
- 5:29a bunch of stuff that to this day they're not able to talk
- 5:33about or whatever that happened in this town.
- 5:35And everyone was sworn to secrecy or whatever.
- 5:41And, you know, obviously the conspiracy theorists in me
- 5:43looked at that and just thought, like, what?
- 5:44Damn, like there's how often does this happen?
- 5:47And we have like, no idea that this happens, you know?
- 5:52Not to mention the potential of harnessing like the human
- 5:55psychic ability as they have shown in that show.
- 5:59I think a lot of people claim that there is some truth to that
- 6:03as well. Yeah, no, Yeah, obviously.
- 6:06Again, this could be another show, but that idea that I
- 6:11suppose the idea of like different worlds and stuff,
- 6:13different dimensions is, is is really interesting or like a
- 6:17link to get to another part of the world in a different form in
- 6:21a quicker fashion, I found quite interesting.
- 6:23I think it's. The whole concept, the the
- 6:25concept of like the Upside Down, you know, a world that's right
- 6:28in front of your face at all times, but it's just you switch
- 6:32the frequency of consciousness or something like that, and then
- 6:35you're able to like access this other realm.
- 6:37Very interesting, this idea of frequencies as well.
- 6:40Fascinating. I mean, obviously in in Ghost in
- 6:42the Ghostly World, there's this idea that there's specific
- 6:45frequencies that if you tune into them, you can hear the dead
- 6:49so as to speak or hear echoes of the dead, I don't know.
- 6:54But again, that's a show for another time.
- 6:58I found this amazing, right? So President Carter in his
- 7:04presidential campaign, so he wasn't president at this time.
- 7:07He said this. Oh, he was questioned on this
- 7:10and he admitted to this freely. And he offered this information
- 7:12up. And I found this ballsy because
- 7:15back then to turn around and say that you'd seen a UFO as just a
- 7:19member of the public would make you the the, you know, point of
- 7:23scrutiny. But in a presidential campaign,
- 7:26that's ballsy. And he became president
- 7:28thereafter, he said. I'm convinced UFO's exist
- 7:33because I have seen one. If I become president, I'll make
- 7:36every piece of information this country has about UFO sightings
- 7:40available to the public and the scientists.
- 7:42The president saw his UFO at night in 1973 in Thomaston, I
- 7:48believe that's Georgia after speaking to the Lions Club
- 7:51there. I love this, like how language
- 7:54changes. It was the darndest thing I'd
- 7:56ever seen, he said. It was big, very big.
- 7:59It changed colors and it was about the size of the moon.
- 8:02We watched it for 10 minutes, but none of us could figure out
- 8:05what it was. 1 thing's for sure. I'll never make fun of people
- 8:09who say they've seen unidentified objects in the sky
- 8:13folk for Carter. No, I'm just kidding.
- 8:16I love the accent. Very, very good accent.
- 8:18American accent. I've been working at this side.
- 8:21I've been working hard on accents, American ones.
- 8:25I think I've hit like a new a new stride or a new a new phase
- 8:30in my voice acting career. So we're slowly getting there.
- 8:34I can see that in like your Instagram posts and stuff.
- 8:36I see that your accents are getting really good.
- 8:38Your voiceovers are getting awesome too.
- 8:40Ah, thank you, man. I appreciate that, brother.
- 8:43Let's move it forward. Other investigations of Ufo's.
- 8:47Now with this show, there was different ways that I was going
- 8:50to approach this, but I wanted to kind of go purely based on
- 8:54facts and what I could find from an official capacity.
- 8:58And yeah, I found a lot of interesting stuff like, again,
- 9:03as I mentioned at the beginning of the show, tip of the iceberg.
- 9:07So despite the failure of the ETH to make headway with the
- 9:10expert committees, a few scientists and engineers, most
- 9:13notably Jay Allen Hynek, an astronomer at Northwestern
- 9:18University in Evanston who had been involved with projects Sign
- 9:22Grudge and Blue Book, concluded that a small fraction of the
- 9:25most reliable UFO reports gave definite indication sorry for
- 9:31the presence of extraterrestrial visitors.
- 9:34Hynek founded the Center for UFO Studies, or KUFOS, which
- 9:39continues to investigate the phenomenon.
- 9:42I went on this website and Oh my God, like guys, when you got 5
- 9:47minutes, go on to www.kufos.org and you will find perhaps the
- 9:52most extensive covering of like UFO history, phenomena,
- 9:59sightings, like everything you could ever possibly need.
- 10:02And like a lot of the old classic data as well is like
- 10:06legit, just like old news clippings from that time.
- 10:08So you got like clippings from the 30s forties with all the
- 10:11information there, scientific studies, the latest information
- 10:15like it's it's really worth checking out and it's like one
- 10:18of probably thousands of different organizations around
- 10:22the world doing this. So really, really incredible
- 10:24stuff. Aside from Project Blue Book,
- 10:27the only other official and fairly complete rounds of UFO
- 10:30sightings were kept in Canada, where they were transferred in
- 10:331968 from the Canadian Department of National Defense
- 10:37to the Canadian National Research Council.
- 10:40The Canadian records comprised about 750 sightings.
- 10:44Less complete records have been maintained in the United
- 10:47Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Australia, and Greece, and I
- 10:51will be covering a lot of those sightings from a particular
- 10:55nation in the next show. In the United States, Kufas and
- 11:00the Mutual UFO Network in Bellevue, Colombia, continue to
- 11:04log sightings reported by the public.
- 11:07In the Soviet Union, sightings of UFOs were often prompted by
- 11:11tests of secret military rockets.
- 11:13In order to obscure the true nature of the tests, the
- 11:16government sometimes encourages encourage the public's belief
- 11:21that the Rockets might be extraterrestrial craft
- 11:24eventually decided that descriptions themselves might
- 11:26give away too much information. UFO sightings in China have
- 11:29similarly been provoked by military activity that is
- 11:32unknown to the public. So this I touched on this
- 11:34earlier, but this idea of like admitting that it's real when it
- 11:39suits them and dismissing it when it suits them.
- 11:42Very common theme with the government.
- 11:45Imagine that they just lie when they need to lie, tell the truth
- 11:47and they need to tell the truth anyway.
- 11:53So I I, I I always with my notes, I always kind of
- 11:55structure it into like sections. I try to feel like very
- 11:58organized with this stuff, so this section is possible.
- 12:00Explanations for UFO sightings and alien abductions, so UFO
- 12:05reports have varied widely in reliability as judged by the
- 12:10number of witnesses, whether the witnesses were independent of
- 12:12each other, the observing conditions.
- 12:15This is quite interesting, like the fog haze type of
- 12:17illumination. So obviously you could dismiss a
- 12:19lot of stuff based on that and also the direction of the
- 12:22sighting. Typically, witnesses who take
- 12:25the trouble to report a sighting consider the object to be of
- 12:28extraterrestrial origin or possibly a military craft, but
- 12:31certainly under intelligent control.
- 12:34This inference is usually based on what it is perceived as
- 12:38formation flying by sets of objects, unnatural, often sudden
- 12:42motions, the lack of sound, changes in brightness or color
- 12:45and strange shapes. Now, Josh mentioned all of this
- 12:49earlier. Again, we'll explore this in
- 12:51great detail in in the next show that we do together.
- 12:55One thing though, that I want to kind of comment on here, I think
- 12:58one of the biggest reasons maybe why we've not seen as many
- 13:01sightings or maybe they're not taking this seriously anymore
- 13:04and you mentioned earlier is this idea that drones exist now.
- 13:08Things can so easily be just always a drone, always a bigger
- 13:12drone. That's and and the general
- 13:15public can own them now as well. So I think, I think you know any
- 13:19legitimate sightings might unfortunately be dismissed these
- 13:23days. But move it on.
- 13:27The unaided eye plays tricks. That's also a well known.
- 13:33I imagine being gaslit as well. I was being told like, Oh no,
- 13:35your eyes deceive you. And it's like I know what I saw.
- 13:38Like you're telling me, my eyes are lying to me.
- 13:42Who knows? A bright light such as the
- 13:44planet Venus often appears to move.
- 13:47Astronomical objects can also be disconcerting to drivers as they
- 13:51seem to follow the car. I think we could probably
- 13:54actually dismiss this and say that, you know, if you're
- 13:57getting tired and you're driving and you're seeing a lot of
- 13:59lights, there's you might be seeing things, or maybe you're
- 14:02not, I don't know. But that's that could be what
- 14:05that is. Visual impressions of distance
- 14:07and speed of UFO's are also highly unreliable because they
- 14:10are based on an assumed size and often made against a blank sky
- 14:14with no background object, e.g., clouds mounting, etcetera to set
- 14:18a maximum distance. Reflections from windows and
- 14:21eyeglasses produce super imposed views.
- 14:24I'm just thinking of like Jurassic Park.
- 14:27Now complex optical systems such as camera lenses can turn point
- 14:34of point sources of light into apparently sources shaped
- 14:37phenomena. I will agree there's some some
- 14:39truth in this as well that like sometimes something can appear
- 14:42to be something else based on the lighting and stuff like I've
- 14:44seen that in action. I'm sure you have as well, Josh.
- 14:47It's. Yeah, Sometimes truly what we
- 14:51see is not true because it's like looks different in a
- 14:54certain angle and such such optical illusions and the
- 14:59psychological desire to interpret images are known to
- 15:02account for many visual UFO reports, and at least some
- 15:05sightings are known to be hoaxes.
- 15:08This also ties into what I was saying earlier about this idea
- 15:10that, you know, you can be so desperate to prove that
- 15:13something is something that you were trying to see something
- 15:16that simply isn't there. And I feel for these people
- 15:18because maybe they truly did see something one time, but now that
- 15:22they've only seen it one time, they're trying to look for it
- 15:24everywhere. And we know as human beings, I
- 15:27read this the other day, completely unrelated to what
- 15:29we're talking about. But this idea, there's a
- 15:32specific phenomenon where we see faces and everything.
- 15:34There's like a I can't import the term is is it's like a a
- 15:39concept, the thing that exists and and it's true, we do see
- 15:43faces in things. Well, we try to see them in
- 15:45things. And sometimes it's intentional,
- 15:47other times it's just our brains trying to see recognizable
- 15:53patterns, I suppose. Things that you know we can rely
- 15:57on. Things that make sense to us in
- 15:58some shape or form. Reflections from windows.
- 16:04I thought I've already covered this.
- 16:05Sorry, we'll move on such optical illusions in this.
- 16:08I've already covered that. I'm just.
- 16:11I'm just like this is this is embarrassing.
- 16:13After 3 1/2 years of this radar sightings while inserting
- 16:17respects are more reliable, failed to discriminate between
- 16:20artificial objects and meteor trails, ionize gas, rain or
- 16:25thermal discontinuities in the atmosphere.
- 16:29So I think this is kind of maybe exploring the idea that you're
- 16:33when you do see phenomena in the sky like for instance or orally.
- 16:37I can't even say Aurora Borealis, Aurora Borealis or
- 16:42Northern Nights Northern Lights. You could argue that.
- 16:46I'm sure when people first saw that, they thought it was
- 16:48something out of this world. And actually it's just a common
- 16:54phenomena. Contact events such as
- 16:57abductions are often associated with UFOs because they are
- 17:00ascribed to extraterrestrial visitors.
- 17:03However, the credibility of the ETH as an explanation for
- 17:07abductions is disputed by most psychologists who have
- 17:11investigated this phenomenon. They suggest that a common
- 17:14experience known as sleep paralysis may be the culprit, as
- 17:19this causes sleepers to experience a temporary mobility
- 17:23and a belief that they're being watched.
- 17:24Now I have sleep paralysis. I did a podcast on it one time
- 17:30because I have dealt with this all my life.
- 17:34This particular comment pisses me off because it's basically
- 17:37the government and the scientists going no, no, no, no,
- 17:40no, no. What you saw, it's just sleep
- 17:42paralysis. It's nothing.
- 17:44Now, we do have these ideas of the night hag.
- 17:48I've actually experienced that one time.
- 17:51I'm of the opinion though. Normally I'd be like well into
- 17:56the idea of the paranormal and stuff, but in this specific
- 17:59instance, I think it was just me not being comfortable where I
- 18:04was sleeping. You know, you, you, you have
- 18:07vivid dreams, for example, when you've been drinking or, you
- 18:10know, I had a lot of sleep. You know, your mind kind of kind
- 18:13of my language fucks with you a little bit.
- 18:15And that's the only incidence of a paranormal event in the
- 18:19context of sleep paralysis I've ever experienced.
- 18:22Every other time is the same old thing.
- 18:25I think I spoke with you about this Joshua Willis once, but
- 18:28basically just watching myself trying to wake up and I don't
- 18:34know if it's an outbody experience or if it's like me
- 18:37half awake, not really know what's going on.
- 18:39But I'm normally sort of somewhat consciously aware.
- 18:43But basically what I've read into with regards to the UF O's
- 18:48and aliens is they try to dismiss a lot of alien abduction
- 18:52stories as being just sleep paralysis stories and people
- 18:55trying to find make it well basically people making up
- 19:00bullshit making up shit. You know though, we also ignore
- 19:08the potential for us to interact with and see things in a way
- 19:12that isn't just face to face me physical and something else
- 19:17physical, you know? And again, I bring it up all the
- 19:19time because it's one of my most.
- 19:24Sought after experiences that has led me to these types of
- 19:27beliefs, but psychedelics, if you take a psychedelic you will
- 19:30experience something that is more real than real and it's not
- 19:36physical right in front of you. It these types of experiences
- 19:39allow you to sort of accept the fact that there are experiences
- 19:43that exist only within the mind and.
- 19:49Actually, interestingly, there was a declassified U.S.
- 19:53government document that has said one of the more intriguing
- 19:58aspects of the UFO UAP that they see is that they have, quote,
- 20:03the ability to alter human consciousness.
- 20:08So that fact right there tells me or that observation tells me
- 20:15that there is a potential here for.
- 20:19An experience to be controlled by whatever this nonhuman
- 20:24intelligence is. Maybe it has a deeper
- 20:27understanding of what it means to be conscious, what it means
- 20:30to have a mind. And as you know, you sort of
- 20:32laid out in in what you were saying about, you know, seeing
- 20:38glares and stuff like that, like the human senses are not that
- 20:42accurate. You talked to Jay Nelson about
- 20:46consciousness, and I'm sure he brought this up to you, that the
- 20:50the way that we interact with things in our world, the way
- 20:54that we sort of create consciousness, it's not very
- 20:58active. It's not very accurate.
- 20:59The way we see, we the way we hear all of our senses, they're
- 21:03more creating. It's more of a cocreation than
- 21:06it is a direct representation of what reality is.
- 21:10So who knows how that could potentially be altered.
- 21:12You just take a drug and you're in a different reality.
- 21:15So imagine if something has the ability to interface with your
- 21:20consciousness and change it in some way.
- 21:23I mean, the possibilities are endless.
- 21:24Maybe the abductions do happen within the mind.
- 21:28Maybe you're consciously having the experience as opposed to
- 21:31your body actually being taken away.
- 21:34And that's interesting as well, because firstly, that's not
- 21:38really something I'd considered in this particular conversation
- 21:40is this idea that they could. Almost like mind meld review,
- 21:44like access your consciousness as you say, remotely from far
- 21:47away. But it also kind of directly
- 21:51combats with classic alien abduction stories where the
- 21:56person is physically abducted. But then that begs other
- 21:59questions, like maybe some aliens are capable of doing that
- 22:02and others aren't. Or maybe over time they learn
- 22:06how to do that. Or maybe it's a different?
- 22:11Type and maybe they they can do more if it's physical versus
- 22:15remote, you know that there's so many questions.
- 22:18I love it. Shows like this are great
- 22:20because like you come into it thinking like maybe we can make
- 22:22some leeway and of course you're not going to make any leeway,
- 22:24you're just going to end up with more questions.
- 22:25But I don't know. I'll never stop.
- 22:27You can't stop me. I love it.
- 22:31I found this randomly and I wonder what you think of this.
- 22:35Italian dictator Mussolini allegedly covered up a UFO crash
- 22:39in the 1930s. Italian ufologist Roberto
- 22:44Pinotti claims to have proof that supports the allegations
- 22:48that a UFO crashed in Italy in 1933.
- 22:52So to put that historically into context, that's always like 6
- 22:57years before the start of the World War.
- 22:59I believe Hitler would have been chancellor at this point, or at
- 23:02least in government in a major way.
- 23:06We were put like this the the events that would lead us to
- 23:08World War Two were very much in motion at this point and and I
- 23:13suppose politically speaking we were very much headed towards
- 23:16that. And allegedly, yeah, it was
- 23:20covered up by Italian dictator Mussolini and the government at
- 23:23the time. Now this particular ufologist
- 23:26has stated that he has documents confirming the cover up, as well
- 23:29as having had several people come forward to him and announce
- 23:33their involvement in the program.
- 23:35Moreover, the cover up reportedly involved Mussolini
- 23:38transporting the UFO to the US. Now, two things here that I
- 23:42found interesting. One, it it sort of connects with
- 23:46what you were talking about earlier about this idea of
- 23:49several people being involved in a project and coming forward in
- 23:53some way or confirming an existing story to give it more
- 23:58legitimacy. And also just this final bit
- 24:01like. They would have had a very
- 24:05tumultuous relationship at this point.
- 24:08You know, they wouldn't have been on good terms, the States
- 24:11and Italy. So why on earth would they
- 24:15consider transporting the UFI mean, I suppose maybe if it was
- 24:19known that at that time the US had some sort of intelligence
- 24:25over that or or some noteworthy systems for research on that.
- 24:30But then here's the thing. In our timeline that we've
- 24:34broken down here, the US only really became started to become
- 24:38an authority on this in the thought is onwards.
- 24:41But as we've outlined in this conversation, UF O's have been
- 24:44seen or allegedly seen for thousands of years.
- 24:50So how long have we really been investigating UF O's?
- 24:55Maybe we've always been investigating UF O's in some
- 24:58shape or form. Maybe it was called something
- 24:59else prior to that. Yeah.
- 25:02And again, if we're looking at levels of government, you know,
- 25:06if you just look at the Ukraine war right now, you know, there's
- 25:11the presented facts that the governments of each of these
- 25:15sides want you to know. And then there are the deeper
- 25:18levels of government where, you know, US is fighting a proxy war
- 25:22versus Russia trying to destabilize the military.
- 25:25Like there are so many deeper, deeper levels.
- 25:28And it seems to me that at the deepest level of government
- 25:32involving the UFO's, UAP's. This is like how we were saying
- 25:36earlier, like the the black government that that part of it,
- 25:39I think that part has probably existed for a while.
- 25:45Probably if Mussolini did transport those UFO's or
- 25:50whatever it was to the United States.
- 25:52It seems to me that the US probably had a a a firm grasp on
- 25:57this even back then. And every time you hear of, you
- 26:03know, a a crash or a sighting or any of that stuff, the US is
- 26:09always the first ones on the scene.
- 26:12In Brazil, there was a crash that as that's been gaining a
- 26:17lot of popularity recently and I think the place it was called
- 26:20Varginia is in Brazil. the US government was on that right
- 26:27away, in an instant. They're always right on every
- 26:30single crash, every single encounter.
- 26:33There was another encounter that was supposedly a crash in
- 26:37Africa. There was a school of a bunch of
- 26:40kids that saw quote UN quote aliens come out of the craft and
- 26:46they actually had telepathic communication with them.
- 26:48There's a really interesting documentary on this is actually
- 26:51a few documentaries on this case.
- 26:53And again, right away the the US government is always the first
- 26:56one there. I feel like the US government
- 26:59has there's there are agreements between countries involving the
- 27:04Ufo's, but I think the United States is at the head of that.
- 27:09Whenever you talk about that as well, I can't help but.
- 27:14It's like the classic US or the bad guys in the movies kind of
- 27:17concept like specifically because I've noticed this as
- 27:20well in any kind of UFO scifi related film, the government,
- 27:26the US government specifically is always the bad guys that
- 27:28we're trying to cover, shut up, trying to lie to the people
- 27:32etcetera, right. And obviously we know the reason
- 27:34why that is, but just looking at it in general, I mean.
- 27:41Assuming that they are the authority on things, they would
- 27:43want to kind of keep that under wraps as much as possible and
- 27:48control the narrative. But it must be so difficult
- 27:51trying to control that around the world, everywhere.
- 27:55And of course having agreements with those countries is a big
- 27:59part of that. But then now everyone has, like,
- 28:02you know, cell phones, everyone has the ability to record stuff
- 28:05and then it becomes about trying to control the information.
- 28:09Online. But once it's online, it's it's
- 28:11there forever, you know, very difficult to scrub the Internet.
- 28:15It's getting harder for them, yeah, for sure.
- 28:17But also, and this is to bring up a point that you said earlier
- 28:21that if they came out and told us that aliens exist now, people
- 28:25would freak out. But they.
- 28:27Kind of did, though. They kind of did.
- 28:29I'm not so sure. Because yeah, they did.
- 28:31They did tell us essentially, like they had these
- 28:34congressional hearings that said, you know, the dude said,
- 28:36like this is real, this is here, our government is involved in
- 28:39this, and like, nobody gave a shit.
- 28:42That's why I don't understand. They basically passed to their
- 28:44phones and. That that's what blew my mind as
- 28:47well, just because I covered this earlier.
- 28:49But if I remember correctly, the quote that they said OK cuz I
- 28:53said that they pretty much said like, oh aliens exist.
- 28:55They didn't say in so many words what they said was.
- 28:59These things that we've found are not human.
- 29:02That's pretty much exactly what they said and the Internet ran
- 29:05with Oh my God, aliens are real. What the fuck?
- 29:07Like, what is this year? But as you said, most people
- 29:11just kind of didn't really give a shit, like, which blows my
- 29:14mind, because it's like, that's the biggest revelation that
- 29:18could possibly ever be. Really.
- 29:20Other than I don't know God. Declaring existence and being
- 29:25like I am alive. Here I am, I am God.
- 29:27Like that's the only other thing I could really equate to being
- 29:30equal in like Oh my God mind fuck, you know?
- 29:34But even that like it someone could come out and say they got
- 29:36and we would still be like, I don't know, you know, I feel
- 29:39like it's the same with aliens. It's like an alien could come
- 29:42down tomorrow and we'd be like, oh I don't know, fake news.
- 29:45Maybe it's doctored, Maybe it's this.
- 29:47Maybe it's that. Like I saw something the other
- 29:49day and I I don't know if it was a joke or not, but there was
- 29:51something in like Mexico where it was like 2 guys at some sort
- 29:55of weird press conference and they had what looked like aliens
- 29:58in the back and they looked like ET aliens and everyone on the
- 30:04Internet was just joking that they look like ET.
- 30:06And then what the fuck is this is this is like the worst
- 30:10attempt at trying to convince us that this is real ever.
- 30:13And I don't know because again, they were talking to Mexican.
- 30:15I don't know what they were saying, but.
- 30:17Did you hear about that story? Did you see that story?
- 30:19I did, yes. And I saw some conflicting
- 30:22analysis of it. One of the more interesting
- 30:25things that I saw was so they were there.
- 30:27Whatever they are, they're real mummified bodies.
- 30:31Now I I saw that when they looked at the bones, like the
- 30:37structure of the bones, they were finding bones of different
- 30:41types of animals, just sort of like mashed in there and then
- 30:45mummified. But they did actually find these
- 30:49mummified things. So it almost seems to me that,
- 30:51like, it's pretty possible that some ancient people were messing
- 30:55around with other animals and trying to recreate something and
- 30:58like, mummified. Like a build-a-bear of fucking,
- 31:02yeah. But like animals.
- 31:04Exactly. Yeah something like that.
- 31:07But the it's it's basically been saying that they're non human
- 31:11but if they're animals they're also non human so.
- 31:14Mad. Even even our ancestors were
- 31:17like a bit fucked up, really, like they were there, he says.
- 31:20He was all right. I mentioned before about alien
- 31:25abductions, so I've got a whole kind of section on this and this
- 31:29kind of came out that I was going to explore this anyway in
- 31:31the episode. But one of the questions I
- 31:33received from our wonderful Vilma, thank you so much for
- 31:35your enthusiasm for caring, for being in in just so invested in
- 31:39this. Thank you, Vilma.
- 31:40Hi, Vilma. She said.
- 31:44One of the questions she asked was what was the scientific
- 31:46community's perspective on UFO's?
- 31:50Now, we've kind of explored a lot about the sort of things
- 31:53they say and how they dismiss a lot of things, but when it comes
- 31:56to alien abductions, they pretty much completely just dismiss it
- 32:00all as sleep paralysis. And this comes from a lot of
- 32:03different studies that I read. So I'll read out some of these
- 32:05and and I've found some interesting information through
- 32:09a lot of this as well that we'll all sort of go into as it comes
- 32:12up. In response to a new
- 32:16psychological study of persons. This comes from David V Forrest
- 32:19in 2008. So it was studies being
- 32:23conducted by then, a study of persons who believe they've been
- 32:26abducted by space aliens that found that sleep paralysis, a
- 32:30history of being hypnotized, and preoccupation with paranormal
- 32:33and extraterrestrial were predisposing experiences.
- 32:38I noted this is him talking that many of the frequently reported
- 32:41particulars of the abduction experience.
- 32:44They're more than a passing resemblance to medical surgical
- 32:47procedures and proposed that experience with these may also
- 32:51be contributory. Contributory.
- 32:54I can't, I can't speak. This is the altered state of
- 32:57consciousness, uniformly colored figures with prominent eyes in a
- 33:01high tech room with a round bright source of like object.
- 33:06There is nakedness, pain and a loss of control while the body's
- 33:10boundaries are being probed. And yet the figures are thought
- 33:13benevolent. I don't know how that okay no
- 33:17medical surgical history was apparently taken in the above
- 33:20mentioned study, but psychological laboratory work
- 33:23evaluated false memory formation.
- 33:27If physicians are causing this syndrome in a percentage of
- 33:30patients, we should know about it, and persons who feel they
- 33:34have been abducted should be informed.
- 33:36Should be encouraged to inform their surgeons and and
- 33:39ethologists without challenging their beliefs.
- 33:42So what's that saying that like okay these people were working
- 33:44on these people and then they were I guess tripping out and
- 33:49now we've got a kind of you know, challenge these people
- 33:53would be like no, no, no, no, no.
- 33:54Like all these things you're experiencing, like it's
- 33:57nonsense. Like it means that you, you just
- 34:01are respecting, responding badly to to the surgery.
- 34:04That's that's the problem. Well, this is like a neardeath
- 34:08experience too. Like, who's to say that an
- 34:11altered state of consciousness is not, quote UN quote real?
- 34:13Because what we experience right now is a hallucination.
- 34:18You know, the our realities are just an amalgamation of brain
- 34:22chemistry and senses that cocreate the reality that we
- 34:25perceive. So who's to say that an altered
- 34:29state of consciousness is more or less accurate than what we're
- 34:32actually seeing? So I think we have to contend
- 34:35with the paradox of what it means to be in an altered state.
- 34:39Previous experience. Sorry.
- 34:41Previous research has shown that people reporting contact with
- 34:44aliens, known as experiences great, appear to have a
- 34:50different psychological profile compared to control
- 34:53participants. They show higher levels of
- 34:56disassociative disassociativity absorption.
- 35:03Paranormal belief and experience and possibly fantasy proneness.
- 35:09Prone to fantasy. Prone to Lord of the Rings
- 35:12marathons. Now they also appear to show
- 35:14greater susceptibility to false memories.
- 35:17Experiences were found to show higher levels of what if I
- 35:21copied the same thing twice? Wow, I'm such an idiot.
- 35:24OK, I don't know why I've done that.
- 35:27I'll go back in my notes. I'm like, wow, I must have
- 35:30written these particular ones at 2:00 AM.
- 35:32Mark H says he was abducted by aliens.
- 35:35He clearly remembers awakening one night, unable to move
- 35:39anything but his eyes. He saw flashing lights, heard
- 35:43buzzing sounds, experienced feelings of levitation, and felt
- 35:47electric tingling sensations. Most terrifying were the
- 35:52nonhuman figures he saw by his bed.
- 35:55Mark believes they were aliens. Later he underwent hypnosis to
- 36:01try to recall exactly what had happened to him.
- 36:03Under hypnosis, Mark remembered being whisked through an open
- 36:07window to a large spaceship. He was very frightened when
- 36:11aliens took him into some some kind of medical examining room.
- 36:15There he had sex with one of them.
- 36:18Afterwards, the aliens brought him back to Earth and returned
- 36:22into his bed. Mark describes the experience as
- 36:25terrifying. Did it really happen?
- 36:28Sorry. The way they the way they put
- 36:30that I've got this from I believe, Yeah.
- 36:33From a news article from Harvard.
- 36:35I just love that. Did it really happen?
- 36:38Was Mark just really trashed on the night out?
- 36:40No. Some researchers Harvard
- 36:43University devised an experiment to determine if memories of
- 36:47abduction. By space, aliens would provoke
- 36:50the same physiological reactions that occur when other people,
- 36:54such as combat veterans and those who survived deadly car
- 36:58accidents, recall their traumatic experiences.
- 37:01Richard McNally, a professor of psychology, and his colleagues
- 37:05recruited six women and four men who claimed they've been
- 37:09spirited away by extraterrestrials, some of them
- 37:13more than once. Under hypnosis, seven of the ten
- 37:17reported having had their sperm or eggs extracted for breeding
- 37:21purposes or experiencing direct sexual contact with the space
- 37:25aliens. Each of these people were
- 37:27interviewed by Eva McNally or Susan Clancy, also a professor
- 37:31of psychology. Each also wrote a script that
- 37:35told the story of his or her abduction.
- 37:38The research team then made audio tapes spoken in a neutral
- 37:41voice from the scripts. The abductees listen to these
- 37:45tapes in the laboratory of Scott Orr at the Veterans Affairs
- 37:50Medical Center in Manchester. I'm going to guess this is New
- 37:54Haven. As the tapes played, the
- 37:58researchers record their emotional responses using such
- 38:01measures as heart rate and sweat on the palms of their hands.
- 38:06Is it possible it could just be like sex dreams?
- 38:09I don't know. The same same procedure was done
- 38:13with eight people wanted by traumatic experiences unrelated
- 38:17to abduction by aliens. When the two sets of measures
- 38:21were compared, the results were striking.
- 38:25Abductees showed surprisingly strong physiological reactions
- 38:29to the tapes of their alien encounters.
- 38:32Their reactions were as great or greater than those of the
- 38:34individuals who cannot shake memories of combat, sexual abuse
- 38:38and other punishing events. McNally announced these findings
- 38:42on February 16th and a meeting of the American Association for
- 38:46the Advancement of Science in Denver.
- 38:49The results under score the power of emotional belief, he
- 38:53noted. People who sincerely believe
- 38:55they have been abducted by aliens.
- 38:57Show patterns of emotional and physiological response to these
- 39:01memories that are strikingly similar to those who have been
- 39:04genuinely traumatized by combat or similar events.
- 39:07Neither McNally nor the other Harvard researchers ever
- 39:10considered the possibility that people in the study or anybody
- 39:14else was ever abducted by space aliens.
- 39:17But if not, what produced their lasting, vivid memories?
- 39:22The researchers tie such abduction stories to a
- 39:24phenomenon they call dreaming with your eyes open.
- 39:28The episodes occur just as people awaken from a dream.
- 39:32Dreams include full body paralysis, a nice adaptation
- 39:35that prevents people from jumping out of bed to escape
- 39:37their demons, or otherwise making moves in a dream that
- 39:41could injure them in reality. Sleeper awakens from a dream
- 39:44before the paralysis goes away and experiences hallucinations
- 39:48like seeing flashing lights and some kinds of living things
- 39:51lurking around in the bed. I can't read anymore.
- 39:54I mean, it's just is this. The only other thing they
- 39:58mentioned here is with the hallucinations upon wakening
- 40:02from a dream might be interpreted as a visit from a
- 40:04ghost or Satan. In Newfoundland, people have
- 40:07encounters with the old hag, a witch who gets on your bed with
- 40:10you. Hundreds of years ago in Europe,
- 40:13people feared the incubus, an evil spirit that lies on people
- 40:18when they sleep, or the succubus, a demon who assumes a
- 40:22female form and has sex with men in their sleep.
- 40:24A lot of this just, it just seems like really horny people
- 40:28just coming up with instances of like, yeah man, I got abducted
- 40:33by the sexy aliens, you know, I don't know.
- 40:38What do you make of all that man, before we go on?
- 40:40It's tough, you know, it's really hard to study something
- 40:44like an abduction from the lens of the scientific method.
- 40:49You know, when you ask the question of like, what does
- 40:51science say about these types of things, I mean, there are a few
- 40:55different groups of scientists. Like if you look at the
- 40:57mainstream scientists like the Neil degrasse Tysons of the
- 41:00world, they look at this stuff as if it's just fantasy.
- 41:03There's no reason to look into it.
- 41:05It's, you know, it's bullshit. Whatever.
- 41:08But there are a lot of really good scientists who are trying
- 41:11to collect real data on this stuff.
- 41:16Avi Loeb is one of them. A VILOEBI believe is how you
- 41:20spell his name. He's a Harvard professor.
- 41:23And I mean, he's doing some really great research on
- 41:26actually trying to find materials and.
- 41:32And like analyze things that have been found to see where the
- 41:36metals originated, if they're from Earth or if they're not.
- 41:39And he's found some really interesting things.
- 41:41There are Gary Nolan is is another guy who is a very
- 41:46renowned scientist who's looking into trying to find evidence
- 41:49based like factual things and you know, regarding UFO's.
- 41:54So it's really a mixed bag, but in terms of the the phenomenon
- 41:59of abduction, it's so hard. Because again, you know, I
- 42:03always go back to the consciousness aspect of it.
- 42:06Like are is your consciousness being projected or manipulated
- 42:10in a type of way where that's where the abduction is taking
- 42:12place? And if so, how are you supposed
- 42:15to prove that real or not, you know, because if you ask
- 42:18somebody if an experience is real, I mean was the fear real?
- 42:22Was the, you know, even dreams, dreams can be.
- 42:27Analyzed in the same type of way, if you have a lucid dream,
- 42:31it feels like reality until you wake up.
- 42:34So then what would it mean to wake up out of this reality?
- 42:38Can you wake up out of this reality into another one?
- 42:41Like can you be projected into a reality that's non human or
- 42:44something like who knows? So that's the approach I like to
- 42:48take when it comes to abductions.
- 42:49You know, I I never tell a person that their experience of
- 42:53something is not real. But it's also hard to say that
- 42:57it's tangibly real in terms of the scientific method.
- 43:02Yeah, so much I can really expand upon with that.
- 43:05And it really does come down to like how we study these things
- 43:10and the evidence that's put forward.
- 43:14And there just hasn't really been anything that's given us
- 43:18like a concrete answer on this just yet.
- 43:21But as you mentioned before and then this is something I want to
- 43:24expand upon. There are a lot of industries,
- 43:28sorry government related and non non government entities that are
- 43:32doing the work, doing the good work, trying to trying to
- 43:34explore this because going back to what you said before, people
- 43:38who dismiss it and like oh there's just no point studying
- 43:40that blows my mind that a scientist could ever say
- 43:43something like that. You know what I'm saying?
- 43:45Like, oh, there's no point studying what I agree it's good
- 43:50to dismiss non factual information, information that's
- 43:54just based on like beliefs and and doesn't hold any water,
- 43:57doesn't have any facts based on it, like, fair enough.
- 43:59But to not study things at all, that just blows my mind.
- 44:03Like, I don't know, just seems very nonscientific,
- 44:08nonscientific thing to say, I don't know.
- 44:10But whatever. We mentioned earlier that
- 44:13there's been like a sort of like a rebranding of UFO's to
- 44:18unidentified aerial phenomenon. Now I found that there's an
- 44:21annual report that's conducted by the government under the
- 44:24Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
- 44:27This department is known as the Odney.
- 44:29This department recently coordinated with the all domain
- 44:32Anomaly Resolution Office or AERO, which is what you
- 44:36mentioned earlier, which the Department of Defense formed
- 44:39last year. So this report was made in 2022,
- 44:42so it would have been 2021 within the department,
- 44:47Department of Defense. And they basically formed last
- 44:50year to synchronize all of its various efforts to study past
- 44:53and present reports of anomalous unidentified Space Airborne
- 44:58submerged and Transmedian objects.
- 45:00Which does that include, like, boats?
- 45:03Yeah, under the sea well. There's a particular instance
- 45:08that this brings to mind one of the people who testified at.
- 45:12That hearing I was talking about earlier, his name is Commander
- 45:14David Fraver, and he claimed that he saw this famously, now
- 45:19known as the Tic Tac object. And he said he saw this thing go
- 45:24under the under the ocean like it went into the ocean.
- 45:28So there's very, it's very possible.
- 45:30I mean, think about it. We don't know shit about our
- 45:33oceans. It's very possible that these
- 45:35things reside in the ocean or something.
- 45:37Or there's a I've heard another interesting hypothesis that
- 45:39there's like a, an A nonhuman drone manufacturing apparatus
- 45:44under the ocean that spits out like, like nonhuman drones to,
- 45:50you know, do whatever they have to do in terms of, like,
- 45:53studying us. It.
- 45:54It would also explain as well why it's almost impossible to
- 45:58track these aircraft. Let's suppose for a minute that,
- 46:01like their base was under the ocean.
- 46:03Man, this is real fucking conspiracy 101 right here.
- 46:06But fuck it, we're going to go all the way.
- 46:08Imagine that was the case. So you're in the air, you're
- 46:11flying around, you've been seen, you've been spotted, you're
- 46:14being tracked, obviously at all times by the airspace.
- 46:17Now if you go into the ocean, you'll be tracked to a degree,
- 46:20but then you'll lose contact after a while because obviously
- 46:25we can't go past a certain level.
- 46:27Like our technology doesn't work.
- 46:28Obviously humans can't go past that point, but maybe their
- 46:31technology can. Maybe that's how they're always
- 46:34able to escape humans, because they have these bases underneath
- 46:39the ocean. They have this infrastructure
- 46:41there. Maybe.
- 46:41Maybe they've always been there. Maybe.
- 46:43And that would also lend itself to kind of explain why they've
- 46:47been able to track us even thousands of years ago.
- 46:50And we would have just been like, what are these creatures
- 46:53in the sea? What are these different things?
- 46:57It kind of connects a lot of different conspiracy theories,
- 46:59which is, and it's a fascinating thing.
- 47:01I've never really considered that, man, that blows my fucking
- 47:03mind. Let's move it forward.
- 47:07Last year, NASA, so that's that's like the authority on
- 47:12everything when it comes to like space travel and stuff like
- 47:14that's huge. Created a 16 member blue ribbon
- 47:18UAP study team which seeks to improve the scientific
- 47:21understanding of UAP's by scouring the space agency's vast
- 47:26archives and assets, as well as civilian and commercial data
- 47:30sources. I thought this was really
- 47:31interesting. They're taking everything into
- 47:33account for relevant sightings. The team's 9 month unidentified
- 47:37Anomalous phenomena, independent study, or mouthful, is well
- 47:41underway. It aims to generate a road map
- 47:43of recommendations for potential further NASA UAP studies to
- 47:48follow, as well as a subsequent public report that will detail
- 47:51its findings. Now this UAP reporting is
- 47:54increasing, enabling a greater awareness of this airspace and
- 47:57increased opportunity to resolve UAP events.
- 48:01In addition to the 144 UAP reports covered during the 17
- 48:05years of UAP reporting included in the Office of the Director of
- 48:09National Intelligence Preliminary Assessment, there
- 48:12have been 247 new reports and another 119 that were either
- 48:18since discovered or reported after the preliminary assessment
- 48:21times period. This totals and this is what I
- 48:24wanted to get to 510, UAP reports as of 30th of August
- 48:292022. Now this is interesting to work
- 48:32because it sounds like a lot, but it's actually a very small
- 48:34number in comparison with like all of the possible signs we
- 48:38had. I've mentioned earlier the
- 48:3980,000 number which in my notes that I have here.
- 48:44According to Newfork NUFORC, which is like a major agency in
- 48:51the United States, UFO sightings, there's been like UF
- 48:5680,000 records records of UFO sightings between the year 1910
- 49:04and 2014 in the USA. Now that's a decade out of date,
- 49:09but that's huge. Like when you think of it like
- 49:12they've been tracking it that long officially, and there's
- 49:14been that many sightings. UFP events continue to occur in
- 49:19restricted or sensitive airspace, highlighting possible
- 49:22concerns for safety of flight or adversary collection activity.
- 49:27And I mean, I've written this note here, but I think we've
- 49:31already kind of acknowledged this, but I'll just ask anyway.
- 49:34Why do they more commonly occur in these particular airspaces
- 49:36and not everywhere else? Well, I think you kind of
- 49:39answered it earlier when you said that like they have a
- 49:41fascination with guns, but do you think there might be any
- 49:43other reasons besides weapons that they might be interested
- 49:46in? It's possible.
- 49:48I mean, I know I like to think of it as even.
- 49:53OK, so. I'm going to go a little, a
- 49:57little weird here. So say they're extra
- 49:58dimensional. OK, say same as like a human,
- 50:03you know, we cast a shadow onto the ground, you know, so say
- 50:09they're they're trying to to be seen by us, they they might
- 50:14actually be reaching out to us and they're trying to cast their
- 50:20shadow into the third dimension, so to speak.
- 50:23It might not be easy for them to communicate with us, like say if
- 50:28you or I wanted to make ourselves known to what's bring
- 50:31up ants again. If I wanted to make myself known
- 50:33to an Ant colony, I couldn't speak to that Ant quality, that
- 50:38that Ant colony and say, hey, this is me.
- 50:40Like, look at me, I'm a human, I have computers and I have cars.
- 50:44And look at all this crazy technology if I wanted to to.
- 50:47To communicate with a lower species, the lower consciousness
- 50:50being, I wouldn't even be able to do it.
- 50:52So it's even possible that they are trying to communicate with
- 50:55us. They're trying to make
- 50:56themselves known. That's one thing I that that I
- 50:59like to play with. And you know if you are going to
- 51:02try to make yourselves known, maybe do it in a way where like
- 51:07again with Commander David Fraver it's very interesting.
- 51:10They were conducting a training, a training exercise in the US
- 51:14Air Force and. There, this thing showed up,
- 51:18this Tic Tac showed up and they chased it.
- 51:22David Fravor, he chased it in his jet and the thing was gone.
- 51:26He he could not he could not chase it.
- 51:29And during these training exercises, you know they they
- 51:32have, they're called like the LZ or something like the landing
- 51:36zone or like the the spot where like if you have your military
- 51:40base and you're conducting your training exercise where your
- 51:42destination is. So they saw this thing right
- 51:45where they were beginning to to to do their their training
- 51:48exercise and then it disappeared it it was gone and then when
- 51:53they got to the to their their destination zone, it was there
- 51:57waiting for them. So I mean, who knows what their
- 52:02potential goals are in terms of like of that, but maybe they're
- 52:07just really interested in our level of technological
- 52:10advancement. You know, they want to see our
- 52:12fastest ships and they want to see how, you know, how fast you
- 52:15know the these jets can go or what the kid their capabilities
- 52:18are. Maybe they want to see what we
- 52:20would do in a situation where we as humans are armed and we come
- 52:25across them and we think maybe they're a threat.
- 52:27Maybe they want to see if we'll go and attack them because there
- 52:30have been instances where we have shot at them and we've
- 52:34tried to to go after them. So who knows if they're maybe
- 52:37just trying to test? You know how our reactions are,
- 52:41what we would do, and in terms of like if we would freak out,
- 52:47if our if our first inclination is to engage violently, you
- 52:52know, who knows? It's so hard to determine, you
- 52:55know, what their motivations could possibly be.
- 53:00The Galileo project. The goal of Galileo project is
- 53:05set to bring the search for extraterrestrial technological
- 53:08signatures of extraterrestrial technological civilizations
- 53:13ETC's from accidental or anecdotal observations and
- 53:17legends to the mainstream of transparent, validated and
- 53:22systematic scientific research. This project is complementary to
- 53:27traditional SETI in that it searches for physical objects
- 53:32and not electromagnetic signals associated with extraterrestrial
- 53:36technological equipment. This is all from Harvard, by the
- 53:38way, last December. This would have been back in
- 53:412023. Oh, sorry, No, yeah, no, 2022.
- 53:45So, but it's a 2023 report. Avi Loeb.
- 53:50I think I'm saying that, right. Avi Loeb?
- 53:51That's. The guy I mentioned earlier, Avi
- 53:53Loeb, yeah, yeah, Harvard University astrophysicist and
- 53:56head of the Galilero project stated.
- 54:00The project's research team began collecting high quality
- 54:04scientific data with a custom built observatory that was
- 54:08temporarily located on the roof of the Harvard College
- 54:11Observatory. It's since been moved to another
- 54:14location. Assembled at a cost of about
- 54:16$300,000, the observatory can capture continuous video of the
- 54:22sky at infrared optical. I wasn't even the way we still
- 54:25use them for it. Optical and radio bends and can
- 54:29record ambient sound as well. The plan is to analyze the data
- 54:33with artificial intelligence algorithms.
- 54:35Now this is interesting, bringing AI into the into of
- 54:38things before making the results available to the scientific
- 54:42community and the general public.
- 54:44Loeb As a first step, the team has drafted and submitted papers
- 54:50to peer reviewed journals describing the project's method
- 54:52and goals. Good thing about this as well on
- 54:55a side note is that because it's academic, the academic world is
- 55:00always fighting trying to find funding from various sources,
- 55:02but they don't necessarily need it from the government to
- 55:05continue with their research, which I thought it's brilliant.
- 55:07So anyone that's willing to fund them, fund them, because that
- 55:09means that this research will continue.
- 55:12We are planning to make 3 copies of this system over the spring
- 55:15of 2023 and to then place them in desired locations while we
- 55:19continue to test the first system at Harvard, Loeb says.
- 55:22In the coming years, we need funding at a level of 10s of
- 55:25millions of dollars to get hundreds such systems to obtain
- 55:29through statistics on UAP. As a couple of quotes and
- 55:33comments, I've left here so I had to highlight this.
- 55:36The reason that they're unidentified is because the US
- 55:40government does not possess data of sufficient quality to
- 55:43decipher their nature. I love this.
- 55:46It's always like dismissing everything that's ever been
- 55:48because it's like, well, if the US government can't confirm that
- 55:53this is what it is, then it's just nonsense.
- 55:56And it's like Okay says, the only way to advance our
- 56:01knowledge on the nature of UAP is for the assembly of high
- 56:04quality data from instruments that are fully calibrated and
- 56:08yield reproducible results are continuing.
- 56:12The need for rigor goes hand in hand with the wildest notions
- 56:15about the most anomalous observed UAP's, namely that
- 56:19regardless of their origins, they are somehow a product of
- 56:22new physics beyond what defines our scientific understanding of
- 56:26reality. This is a really good point.
- 56:28Sketchy data actually use this in the sketchy.
- 56:33Sorry, just that term. I did not expect that in like
- 56:36Harvard, it simply cannot be used to test such a profound
- 56:40possibility. Load maintains the bar on such a
- 56:43discovery is very high and requires A demonstration that
- 56:46conventional interpretations fail.
- 56:48He says only the highest quality data could remove reasonable
- 56:53doubts, and I sort of commented on this.
- 56:56So we don't have the necessary tools to measure what we don't
- 56:59understand. Therefore we have to test
- 57:01whether those tools are in fact reliable or not.
- 57:05It's like we don't understand what we don't understand.
- 57:07Almost that's what I'm getting from this.
- 57:10We need better tools. There's also some independent
- 57:15groups. I wanted to cover this as well.
- 57:17Just bring this in here that are unrelated to the government,
- 57:20which I find this interesting. So there's one called UAPX,
- 57:23which is a Florida based nonprofit organization dedicated
- 57:26to the scientific study of UAP's.
- 57:28Its team includes physicists, engineers, and other
- 57:31specialists, and like the Gallo project, it deploys customized
- 57:36sensor lading gear in its quest for more data.
- 57:40UAP instruments include infrared, visible, sorry, and
- 57:44ultraviolet cameras and spectrographs.
- 57:47In July 2021, UAPX team members track their sensors to the
- 57:52Catalina Channel, the purported UAP hotspot off the coast of
- 57:55California. Data gathered during the five
- 57:58day outing revealed potential anomalous activity, which is
- 58:02just a whole lot of nothing, UAPX team members say.
- 58:05But the group has not yet released its full results.
- 58:09Matthew Sizzidagis I'm going to guess that's how you say his
- 58:13name. I'm sorry if I budgeted that a
- 58:14UAPX team member and associate professor in physics at the
- 58:18University of Albany, State University of New York,
- 58:21categorizes the problem with UAP study as a lack of cohesion.
- 58:26All organizations, be they governmental, military,
- 58:29scientists, civilian, have their own reporting methods and
- 58:31standards, and those taking their own data all use different
- 58:35technologies, he observes. How is anyone supposed to make
- 58:38headway against such a hodgepodge with QAPX?
- 58:43Our solution is to only look at our own data, Sizzy The biggest
- 58:48sets. Countless other non governmental
- 58:51organizations look at witness reports and other data, making
- 58:53UAP X's mission mission a complementary one in nature.
- 58:57Why? Because they're just ignoring
- 58:58everyone else. They're just only using their
- 59:00data, so that makes them separate.
- 59:03Another final example, Enigma Labs, another data-driven
- 59:08approach from Enigma Labs, a private company based in New
- 59:11York City that is developing a mobile platform for
- 59:14crowdsourcing UAP reports. I found this fascinating.
- 59:18The company's newly launched smartphone app, There's Always a
- 59:21bloody Smartphone App offers both a repository for some 200
- 59:25and 7000 thousand historic sightings from the past century.
- 59:30These numbers just keep flying and ways for users to record,
- 59:33upload and rate new ones. Dodgy though that you, anyone
- 59:37can potentially upload this each observation is subject to an
- 59:41Enigma score, a one through 100 rating that's dependent on a
- 59:45variety of factors, such as the number and distribution of
- 59:49witnesses, as well as the notional quality of the
- 59:52collected data. By ingesting hundreds of
- 59:55thousands of sightings reported in every country and learning
- 59:58from historical sightings, we've been able to build a
- 1:00:01standardized reporting model that will make sightings
- 1:00:04comparable, queryable, and accessible across the world,
- 1:00:09says Mark Douglas. Chief Operating Officer of
- 1:00:13Enigma Labs. One of the company's most
- 1:00:15important objectives, Douglas says, is to educate the public
- 1:00:19around what UAP are not highlighting in terms of cases
- 1:00:23of mistaken identity. Where observers were flummoxed
- 1:00:27by balloon toting lanterns, overflying satellites, falling
- 1:00:32space debris, even pyrotechnic wearing skydivers show boats in
- 1:00:38their aerial arrow attics. That way we are hopefully
- 1:00:42improving the quality of reporting overall, he concludes.
- 1:00:45Okay, a few things I just want to kind of like delve into here.
- 1:00:50I think it's noteworthy that they're trying to improve their
- 1:00:53methods for how they're investigating these things.
- 1:00:58I think that's brilliant. It's interesting the different
- 1:01:01types of technology and I'm really intrigued by how they're
- 1:01:04going to use a I to introduce that to the purporting element.
- 1:01:10Any thoughts or opinions on this Josh, as far as like how the
- 1:01:13studies and investigations into Ufo's are now developing and of
- 1:01:17course how technology is is sort of rapidly changing in that sort
- 1:01:20of area? Yeah, definitely.
- 1:01:23You know, I think the Galileo project is really on the right
- 1:01:25track here. Recently, they had put out their
- 1:01:30findings on they they found pieces of metal like little
- 1:01:33spherical pieces of metal in the Pacific Ocean.
- 1:01:36And they're able to identify that the structure, like the
- 1:01:40molecular structure of the metals is like non earth, like
- 1:01:46it didn't originate from Earth. So that means that it could
- 1:01:49possibly have come from a meteor, it could have come from
- 1:01:53non human intelligence, it could come from anywhere.
- 1:01:56But that's the type of research that I think needs to be done,
- 1:02:00especially in the scientific community, because those are
- 1:02:03things that you can actually look at, identify.
- 1:02:06And say, OK, this is an anomaly here, this doesn't belong
- 1:02:10because it's really difficult. I understand a lot of these
- 1:02:14these organizations like you said, the one that that puts out
- 1:02:17to the smartphone app where wants people to film stuff and
- 1:02:20and we want to have this database of of sightings like
- 1:02:24it's just difficult, it's very, very hard to make any conclusive
- 1:02:29statements based off of anecdotal evidence.
- 1:02:32And based off something that you can't actually approve, you
- 1:02:35know, that's why I I do think the Galileo project, Avi Loeb
- 1:02:39and some of these other guys who are trying to like really
- 1:02:42pinpoint the science and identifying what is from here
- 1:02:47and what is not from here is a good way to start.
- 1:02:49And maybe if there are you know back engineered Ufo's and crafts
- 1:02:55that you know these these contracted companies have?
- 1:02:58Maybe it would be a good idea to share that with mainstream
- 1:03:01science so that we can figure out, you know from there what to
- 1:03:04do. You know how to maybe research
- 1:03:08their ability to travel so fast without any sort of heat
- 1:03:12signature. Because the real implications
- 1:03:14here in terms of the people that are just living daily lives and
- 1:03:19don't really care too much about aliens and UF O's are the
- 1:03:23potential for widespread. Technological advancement,
- 1:03:26advancement for us. You know, imagine what it could
- 1:03:29mean to revolutionize how we consume energy, how we
- 1:03:33distribute energy to completely revolutionize travel.
- 1:03:38There's just so many technological implications to
- 1:03:41what we could figure out here that could just benefit the
- 1:03:44whole world and could, you know, potentially eradicate a lot of
- 1:03:49the. Widespread issues that we're
- 1:03:52seeing, you know, across third world countries and even across
- 1:03:55our own homelessness and, you know, the inability to, you
- 1:03:59know, just acquire basic goods because of a capitalistic system
- 1:04:04that has just shit all over its people.
- 1:04:06You know, the all this stuff could be completely reformed
- 1:04:10with, you know, free energy and radical advancement in our
- 1:04:13technology. I think that's really where it's
- 1:04:16going to affect people the most. Couldn't agree more.
- 1:04:21Let's talk whistleblowers real quick.
- 1:04:24I got this information from the Scientific American.
- 1:04:26This is a specific article. According to Leslie Keen, a
- 1:04:30veteran investigative reporter who has spent decades covering
- 1:04:34UFOS&UAPS, the most important near term progress on the topic
- 1:04:39is likely to come out of Capitol Hill rather than any science lab
- 1:04:43or smartphone app. The next year and a half should
- 1:04:45be a heady time for UAP revelations, she says.
- 1:04:48Thanks to the National Defense Authorization Act Fiscal year
- 1:04:522023. Amongst other things, that act
- 1:04:55includes arrangements for a better, more secure process for
- 1:04:58whistleblowers to come forward. Now, you touched on this
- 1:05:01earlier. I just want to kind of expand on
- 1:05:02it a bit. This process has already begun,
- 1:05:05Keen says, with some whistleblowers having met
- 1:05:07congressional staff and all members of Aero.
- 1:05:11Those who've signed secrecy agreements related to UAP are
- 1:05:14now free to reveal that previously protected information
- 1:05:17to Arrow and to Congress without fear of retribution or
- 1:05:21prosecution, Keen explains. Congressional committees could
- 1:05:25then make an effort to verify the information provided by the
- 1:05:27whistleblowers, some of which may concern the recovery of
- 1:05:31materials from crashed UFO's and involve legacy investigative
- 1:05:35programs going back decades, Keen foresees.
- 1:05:39Of course we don't know how much of the information provided will
- 1:05:42be made public, she adds. Some of it may have national
- 1:05:45security implications and will have to be withheld.
- 1:05:48But ideally the new process will bring more valuable UAP data to
- 1:05:53light and help validate earlier reports from reputable
- 1:05:56eyewitnesses who already came forward.
- 1:05:58Now, there's a push for these whistleblowers, but I don't know
- 1:06:03if they can really guarantee people's secrecy.
- 1:06:06Sorry, security. Really.
- 1:06:08I You know, famously when people have spoken out on these things,
- 1:06:14people have disappeared. Never heard from those people
- 1:06:16again. Dodgy things happen.
- 1:06:18We've heard about the the men in black suits in regards to Ufo's
- 1:06:23and and phenomena. Do you think they're really
- 1:06:29legitimately trying to protect people here and and get
- 1:06:32information? Or is this just a way of getting
- 1:06:34people to be like, hey, trust us, everything's OK, come give
- 1:06:38us your story and then see you later?
- 1:06:41I think that it's legitimate and the reason I say that is because
- 1:06:45I go back to the the two facets of government that are involved
- 1:06:48here the our elected officials. Who are out of the loop?
- 1:06:52And then the dark secret government people who are in the
- 1:06:55loop, our elected officials, the people that we elect, an office
- 1:06:59that we trust to allocate our tax dollars, they're left out of
- 1:07:02this. They're they're just as out of
- 1:07:06out of the loop as as we are. So I think they are making a
- 1:07:09concerted effort because think about it, If you're an elected
- 1:07:12official and you should have oversight of these programs and
- 1:07:17you find out that you don't. You find out that you're not
- 1:07:20even able to to get information on them and there is 0
- 1:07:26congressional oversight for what these people can do in these
- 1:07:28programs. I I mean, if I was the
- 1:07:31congressman, I'd be pissed and I would want to get to the bottom
- 1:07:33of it. And I think they are.
- 1:07:35I think we have. What we're seeing here in this
- 1:07:37disclosure movement is you're seeing our elected officials
- 1:07:42versus the dark shadow governments and right now that
- 1:07:45they seem to be at a head. I don't know.
- 1:07:49In terms of the safety of the whistleblowers.
- 1:07:53I really hope that the government will do whatever they
- 1:07:57can, but they can't prevent smear campaigns.
- 1:08:01And right now that guy David Grush that I had brought up
- 1:08:03before, there's a small smear campaign that's sort of taking
- 1:08:06place right now against him. So they're going to try to
- 1:08:10question the credibility of some of these people.
- 1:08:12But. I mean, already there's a huge,
- 1:08:15huge number of whistleblowers that have come forward and I've
- 1:08:18had meetings with Congress and with other people.
- 1:08:21The one that was on TV and that was widespread, that was a that
- 1:08:25was just the one instance. There were three guys, but there
- 1:08:27have been countless people who are coming forward within these
- 1:08:30programs. So I think Leslie Keen is right.
- 1:08:33She is a great journalist and she's been on this, this topic
- 1:08:36for a while. I do think that we are going to
- 1:08:40get a very important piece of this.
- 1:08:43Disclosure from our our elected officials, which is weird
- 1:08:45because I never thought I'd ever say that I don't trust these
- 1:08:48people at all. But it's crazy man.
- 1:08:50You know our the United States government is so, so divided, so
- 1:08:57divided on on everything. If you look at I've watched a
- 1:09:00few congressional hearings on different topics.
- 1:09:03One of the ones I watched recently was the Twitter files.
- 1:09:06That was interesting because you see the.
- 1:09:09The the Congress people that are on the left and the Congress
- 1:09:12people on the right, Republican and Democrat, they're just
- 1:09:15fighting the whole time. You there, there.
- 1:09:17There's there's one group of people who are on the side of
- 1:09:20the whistleblowers and one group that's not.
- 1:09:23And it's so obvious. But in the UFO congressional
- 1:09:28hearings, you could not tell whether or not each of these
- 1:09:32people were Democrat or Republican.
- 1:09:34Every one of them, they were asking really good questions.
- 1:09:38There was no division at all. So to me, that's a really,
- 1:09:42really good sign. I mean, you have, you know, Tim
- 1:09:44Burchett, who is like a Republican, and then you have
- 1:09:49Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, who is who couldn't be more to the
- 1:09:53left. And these two people are both
- 1:09:55asking genuine, legitimate questions, trying to get to the
- 1:09:59bottom of an issue and not bringing their politics into it
- 1:10:02at all. So to me, that's a beautiful
- 1:10:03thing. I've never seen that before and
- 1:10:06it's a good sign. Yeah, I mean, but stating the
- 1:10:11obvious. But, I mean it's a it's a issue
- 1:10:13that we have to kind of be united on because it's we need a
- 1:10:18unified response to it, really. I mean if if, if if aliens came
- 1:10:22down tomorrow, we would need a unified response.
- 1:10:25As far as like how to react to that, we can't be quibbling,
- 1:10:28squabbling, sorry amongst ourselves.
- 1:10:30We need to decide together. So, yeah, I couldn't agree more.
- 1:10:34A couple of like final questions here which blew my mind.
- 1:10:38I think they're brilliant. Thank you so much, Billma.
- 1:10:40You are amazing. Couple of final questions.
- 1:10:44Here we go. What is the role of popular
- 1:10:47culture in shaping beliefs and perceptions about UFOSI thought
- 1:10:52this was a fantastic question because and before I let you
- 1:10:56answer Josh, I'll just give my quick opinion on this.
- 1:10:58I think that the role initially was to just bank on it, have fun
- 1:11:03with it, make money out of it. You know, we mentioned earlier
- 1:11:06about like it's true. You go Las Vegas, there's like a
- 1:11:09million different like alien theme shops and hotels and
- 1:11:13merchandise and you know, like TV shows like The X-Files,
- 1:11:16whatever. Like it's there's so much out
- 1:11:18there and still to this day. But now we've moved past that
- 1:11:24and we're getting to a point where it's being taken a bit
- 1:11:27more seriously. And I think that a big reason
- 1:11:30for that is that technology has shifted.
- 1:11:33And I know we've touched on that before earlier, but now it's
- 1:11:36more verifiable now. It's no longer what's that
- 1:11:39random thing in the sky, but I have no way or idea of
- 1:11:45identifying what that is. Now we can do things like send a
- 1:11:47drone up. We can get image processing of
- 1:11:51it from my miles and miles away with it.
- 1:11:55There's so much and there's ways to record stuff and there's just
- 1:11:58stuff that just didn't exist, say like 40-50 years ago.
- 1:12:02And I think that naturally that is going to shift public
- 1:12:05perception. And also, look, I mean, it's
- 1:12:07being acknowledged. Instead of the government always
- 1:12:09just saying like, now this is nonsense, now forget it, forget
- 1:12:12it, forget it. Now they're setting up
- 1:12:14organizations to study this. There's unified efforts across
- 1:12:18the world. There's independent bodies
- 1:12:21studying this information. Basically, I feel to answer the
- 1:12:25question, what is the role of popular culture now?
- 1:12:28Well, I think it's more about kind of maybe lending some
- 1:12:33legitimacy to this, maybe trying to make people realize, hey,
- 1:12:36it's no longer just a bit of scifi fun now, maybe it's a real
- 1:12:39thing that, you know, we're headed for.
- 1:12:42But pose the question to you, Josh.
- 1:12:45What is the role of popular culture in shaping beliefs and
- 1:12:47perceptions about UFOs? I think a big role is we need to
- 1:12:52push our elected officials and push our public servants to get
- 1:12:57to the bottom of this in a responsible way.
- 1:13:00You know, public perception can be swayed.
- 1:13:02It can be influenced in so many different ways.
- 1:13:04And we've seen that throughout, you know, the 50-60 years of
- 1:13:08propaganda that's been pushed on us by movies, by TV, by news,
- 1:13:13by, you know. What are they called?
- 1:13:17Tabloids. Oh my gosh, the tabloids.
- 1:13:20I think I discovered this recently.
- 1:13:23I think it was the Inquirer, one of the one of the really popular
- 1:13:26tabloids. The the very first tabloids in
- 1:13:30America were created because of the UFO phenomenon.
- 1:13:32They were created to make, to make lights of.
- 1:13:36I believe it was the Roswell crash.
- 1:13:38So that the public, their perception, will be altered in a
- 1:13:41way that would adhere to the propaganda as opposed to
- 1:13:44questioning what actually happened.
- 1:13:46And adhering to the initial reports that it was a flying
- 1:13:49saucer that crashed. So public perception, very
- 1:13:52interesting, because we are very multiple people.
- 1:13:55We can be led to believe almost anything.
- 1:13:59But I think it's imperative that as a public, we responsibly do
- 1:14:04our own research, not get caught into too many conspiracies, but
- 1:14:08to do our research to find the evidence and to push.
- 1:14:11Our scientists, our government, our people in power to not only
- 1:14:16research this but also disclose the information to us because we
- 1:14:20we deserve it. You know this, this country,
- 1:14:23your country, any democratic nation is run by its people.
- 1:14:28We are the ones who keep this place going.
- 1:14:30If it wasn't for us, who would take the, the, the trash out?
- 1:14:34You know who would detail the cars, Who would sell the
- 1:14:36whatever's? You know who would?
- 1:14:38You know, process all the orders.
- 1:14:40You know, we we as people, we run this shit and we deserve to
- 1:14:44know what's going on behind the scenes.
- 1:14:46And I think it's our, it's our responsibility to push our
- 1:14:51elected officials to disclose this information to us or at
- 1:14:54least disclose the information to us.
- 1:14:56That's not detrimental to the Department of Defense because I
- 1:15:00could definitely see a situation, maybe some things
- 1:15:03that we shouldn't, you know, say to the public because.
- 1:15:07Of course, other countries are going to try to weaponize it and
- 1:15:10there's definitely circumstances where we don't want to share too
- 1:15:13much of the technology, so I do get that.
- 1:15:17But the widespread panic thing that we covered earlier, isn't
- 1:15:19it like you just don't want to panic people?
- 1:15:22Maybe. Maybe there is stuff that is
- 1:15:24really concerning about this alien technology or alien life
- 1:15:27that we that the government knows and they're just thinking
- 1:15:30like if we tell people, I mean this is really bad, like people
- 1:15:34won't react well to this and it could ruin everything.
- 1:15:37I think if that is true, maybe it is better to at least keep it
- 1:15:41under wraps for now. This question is absolutely
- 1:15:46incredible, and I don't even know that we've even touched
- 1:15:50this, but yeah, I've definitely had conversations with various
- 1:15:53family members about stuff like this since.
- 1:15:56Thank you, Vilma again for this, This final question.
- 1:15:59Since watching the film Prometheus, where it is shown
- 1:16:01that humans are probably so different from all of the
- 1:16:04species on Earth because their DNA contains a strain of alien
- 1:16:08DNA, this theory kind of stayed with me and sort of made sense
- 1:16:12in my head. I mean, we share almost 99%
- 1:16:15identical DNA as apes. I think it's a little bit less
- 1:16:18than maybe like 97, but yeah, thereabouts.
- 1:16:20What about this 1% or say 3%? Why are we only the only species
- 1:16:25on this planet that can talk and build wonderful things and
- 1:16:27civilizations, but also destroy each other and our planet in
- 1:16:31terrible and brutal ways? What do you guys think about
- 1:16:34this theory of human DNA containing other alien DNA?
- 1:16:38Okay, there's two things in this I want to address right off the
- 1:16:40bat before we get into that, because that's huge.
- 1:16:44That first question Why are we the only species on this planet
- 1:16:47that can talk and build things? That fascinates me.
- 1:16:52Why is that? Have there not been others?
- 1:16:55Why is it only in us? Why is it that that, like in the
- 1:16:57animal Kingdom, like they say that dolphins are supposed to be
- 1:17:00like super, super intelligent, right?
- 1:17:02OK, great. But why haven't they evolved
- 1:17:04like us? You know, I know they're sea
- 1:17:07based. I know people are going to call
- 1:17:08me out and be like, oh, you're an idiot.
- 1:17:09But like, no, but let's just look at that for a second.
- 1:17:11Like we've evolved. We evolved from something more
- 1:17:15primitive to the point where we are now, where I'm more evolved
- 1:17:18again in the future. And I look at animals and you
- 1:17:21could argue maybe it's just cuz we're the dominant species and
- 1:17:24that's the only reason. But I don't think it's
- 1:17:26completely implausible to think that other species could have
- 1:17:30developed at the same point as us and developed their own mini
- 1:17:33civilizations or challenging or even better than us.
- 1:17:36You know, let's explore that for a second.
- 1:17:40Why do you think that's not happened?
- 1:17:43Man, Vilma, thank you for these questions.
- 1:17:45They're fantastic. This is so interesting.
- 1:17:49Now, man, there are so many different ways that evolution
- 1:17:52can can track, but we are obviously very different.
- 1:17:57I mean, we we manipulate our environment in the weirdest way.
- 1:18:01I mean, look what we're doing right now, we're interfacing
- 1:18:03across the world, you know what I mean?
- 1:18:05Through electronics, there's there's something to be said
- 1:18:09about the the intelligence of dolphins and orcas and all of
- 1:18:13this. I'd like to look at dolphins and
- 1:18:16orcas and things that are really super intelligent in nature as
- 1:18:20very wise. I think that on the scale of
- 1:18:25wisdom versus intelligence, I think humans are very, very
- 1:18:28intelligent, maybe not so wise. So I think we do have something
- 1:18:33something to learn from the orcas and from the dolphins in
- 1:18:35terms of wisdom, how to symbiotically live with the
- 1:18:39earth instead of destroying it. How to live with each other in
- 1:18:43packs instead of destroying each other?
- 1:18:45There are many things to learn and that I think they have a leg
- 1:18:49up on in terms of wisdom. But we are just so different.
- 1:18:54We are so different. We have culture, we have art.
- 1:18:58We do very, very strange things. And then like, I don't know if
- 1:19:03you want to segue into the second part of that question,
- 1:19:05but I think the second part of that that question can answer
- 1:19:08the first part. It is very possible that we can
- 1:19:13that we have been our DNA has been altered by some alien race.
- 1:19:19This is like super duper, like deep conspiracy.
- 1:19:22But there is, I mean this also goes toward ancient cultures as
- 1:19:25well. There are ancient texts, ancient
- 1:19:28cave art, and ancient art all over the place that claim there
- 1:19:32were were gods that ascended from, you know the cosmos came
- 1:19:37down. And either altered our genetics
- 1:19:40in some way or altered the evolution of our consciousness
- 1:19:44in some way, and I mean it. The more and more I think about
- 1:19:49it and the more research I do want it it, it almost seems
- 1:19:53plausible to me because we are that different.
- 1:19:55We are just such an anomaly on this planet.
- 1:19:59Yeah, I if I think for me personally, I always look at the
- 1:20:04fact that like. There's so many unanswered
- 1:20:07questions and so much we don't know.
- 1:20:11And yeah, tying into that, that first part of the question, it
- 1:20:15would make a lot of sense that there was some intervention of
- 1:20:17some description or certainly like something that speed things
- 1:20:20up. So to say that we couldn't have
- 1:20:22ever necessarily got to that point, but it blows my mind.
- 1:20:25I mean, especially when you look at other simian varieties on
- 1:20:30earth that haven't evolved to that point.
- 1:20:32Now you can make the argument that okay, they're being held
- 1:20:35back by us even, but even in nature, the ones that aren't
- 1:20:39actively being held in captivity, why have they not
- 1:20:42advanced to the same level we have?
- 1:20:44Maybe it just takes many, many years or maybe it's because
- 1:20:47we've got that like leg up, so to speak, from a kind of
- 1:20:52scientific perspective, like we there was some intervention.
- 1:20:55I don't know. It's not impossible, but it's
- 1:21:00one of those things that that doesn't seem to be like cold,
- 1:21:04hard evidence for. But it when we talk about the
- 1:21:07specifics as far as like the datum, the makeup of the DNA,
- 1:21:13there's some unanswered questions there that need some
- 1:21:15explaining. What's going on there?
- 1:21:18Don't know what's going on there.
- 1:21:20Very interesting stuff, man. This whole show has been
- 1:21:24absolutely incredible, and I think that we've outdone
- 1:21:27ourselves on this one. I knew that you come prepared
- 1:21:32and I knew I needed to step up my a game.
- 1:21:35And you know what I've learned? I've learned a lot through
- 1:21:37through doing this. I think I learned a lot about
- 1:21:41just not just the topic at hand, but also just the the nature of
- 1:21:45doing deep dives and like how to approach it and such.
- 1:21:47You know, because you've got like your own opinion, the
- 1:21:51scientific opinions, the opinions of the masses, you got
- 1:21:54everything. And like Ufo's, like as I
- 1:21:56mentioned at the beginning of this, it's the tip of the
- 1:21:59iceberg. We've we've only given you a
- 1:22:01very, very brief kind of, let's say I I called this introduction
- 1:22:09to to UFOs and aliens and I think that's a, I think it is a
- 1:22:12very good introduction to those things.
- 1:22:16But it is by no means comprehensive.
- 1:22:18There's so much out there, so many different angles.
- 1:22:21And that's ironic because, you know, it's kind of like how we
- 1:22:27are with our understanding of aliens and UFOs.
- 1:22:30There's so much we don't understand.
- 1:22:31There's so much we don't know. Maybe we'll come to know that in
- 1:22:33the future. But here we are with this
- 1:22:37introduction. And I think that it couldn't
- 1:22:40have been done without yourself, Josh.
- 1:22:42So thank you so much for all your hard work and and your time
- 1:22:46and dedication here. Thank you so much to Vilma as
- 1:22:48well for for just all the wonderful questions and for
- 1:22:52everyone who who is invested in what we're doing to me and to
- 1:22:58me. And just like podcasting and and
- 1:22:59creating these shows means a lot if you think of me for speaking
- 1:23:05on behalf of you. But you know, there the reality
- 1:23:10is, and we said this both off camera, but I want to cover it
- 1:23:12here. The reality is there are so many
- 1:23:15shows out there, so many shows, good shows as well, Not just not
- 1:23:19just the crappy ones, which is what I'm implying.
- 1:23:21But there are a lot of good shows out there too.
- 1:23:24And we're all fighting to try and be heard ironically.
- 1:23:28And I think we'll always continue doing what we do.
- 1:23:33And I love shows like this where it kind of reminds me why I
- 1:23:36started doing this in the 1st place.
- 1:23:38And I've said this to you before, but I say it again.
- 1:23:40I absolutely love speaking with you, Josh.
- 1:23:42It's always a pleasure. Thank you so much.
- 1:23:45Really appreciate it, man. Couldn't have done it without
- 1:23:47you. Thank you so much, man.
- 1:23:49Your your episodes are always fantastic.
- 1:23:51You, you always come so prepared.
- 1:23:54I know that every time you approach me with a topic or I
- 1:23:56come to you, it's you know we're gonna have a great conversation.
- 1:23:59I just really appreciate it, man.
- 1:24:01And thank you Vilma again as you said for the amazing questions.
- 1:24:05It's just it's such a ride man. And you know, we met through
- 1:24:09through this, you know, and now we continue to have hour long
- 1:24:12hours and hours long conversations together, you
- 1:24:14know, just trying to figure stuff out.
- 1:24:17You know, we may not be the the most successful podcasters in
- 1:24:20the whole world, but man, we are learning so much and making
- 1:24:24connections and that's what matters, man.
- 1:24:27Wouldn't be more right. Thank you so much, man.
