- 0:30Speaker 1: Very good again? I feel like I'm in groundhog Day
- 0:33Speaker 1: with these Iran negotiations, you know. I mean, I've just
- 0:36Speaker 1: looked at the Fox. The Fox headline all morning US
- 0:40Speaker 1: I ran talks reach critical Phase. I think I think
- 0:45Speaker 1: that's called the standing headline newspapers. You don't don't break
- 0:51Speaker 1: up the old the old hot type, just run the
- 0:54Speaker 1: same headline every day. Reach critical phase. Well followed by Trump.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Iranians have five to seven days the deal to reach deal.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I mean, it just keeps going on and on. When's
- 1:07Speaker 1: it gonna end? Well?
- 1:09Speaker 2: Look at Trump, the great, the master negotiators, spent his
- 1:11Speaker 2: whole life negotiating with the toughest unions, contractors, mobsters, and
- 1:16Speaker 2: he's never come up against lunatics like this. What are
- 1:19Speaker 2: you do in a case like this?
- 1:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, I was just tucking with someone else
- 1:23Speaker 1: about that. I mean, this is I mean, you know,
- 1:25Speaker 1: in the past, he always knew he was dealing with,
- 1:27Speaker 1: you know, Fat Tony or you know or or you
- 1:32Speaker 1: know what I mean, somebody like that, somebody that you know,
- 1:34Speaker 1: he knew, he knew who the capo was. You don't
- 1:37Speaker 1: even know who the capo. The Capo's dead, you know,
- 1:40Speaker 1: I think in all likelihood, and then they're just you know,
- 1:43Speaker 1: operating in his name. And it's a it's a it's
- 1:46Speaker 1: a tough point, you know, it's but you know, on
- 1:49Speaker 1: the on the other hand, have you looked at the
- 1:50Speaker 1: Texas the map of the Texas counties to see how
- 1:53Speaker 1: it went last night? Yeah, it's just did how many
- 1:57Speaker 1: counties there are in Texas? Two hundred and fifty? W Wow?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Do you know how many John Cornyon carried? No. Two
- 2:06Speaker 1: he carried He carried Travis County in uh which is
- 2:11Speaker 1: which is Austin. And he carried some county had never
- 2:14Speaker 1: heard of down on the Gulf Coast, Kennedy Kate with
- 2:17Speaker 1: one end Kennedy County. They were there's nobody in Kennedy County.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Cornon won the vote in Kennedy County six votes to
- 2:27Speaker 1: two votes for Facks. Then those were the two out
- 2:32Speaker 1: of two hundred and fifty four counties. I mean, that's
- 2:35Speaker 1: what you call a crushing defeat. After eighteen years in
- 2:38Speaker 1: the US Senate.
- 2:39Speaker 2: You know, Donald Trump is in his second term, heading
- 2:42Speaker 2: into the second half of the second term. Usually you're
- 2:44Speaker 2: a total lame duck, you're totally useless by that. But
- 2:47Speaker 2: he's stronger in the second term than in the first.
- 2:49Speaker 2: It's it's pretty amazing, isn't it.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Yeah, it is. You know, I think part of it
- 2:55Speaker 1: is his his enemies, you know, I mean, the the
- 2:58Speaker 1: Republicans are factless. You know, he's getting rid of them.
- 3:02Speaker 1: The Democrats are being eliminated. You know, Durban's on his
- 3:05Speaker 1: way out. Schumer is gonna if if AOC runs for president,
- 3:09Speaker 1: I guess it'll be up to Mamdani to knock him out.
- 3:11Speaker 1: But you know, they're all they just uh, He's He's
- 3:16Speaker 1: fortunate in the enemies that he's drawn, isn't he. Yeah.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Yeah. These Democrats with the with the crazy Trump arrangements,
- 3:26Speaker 2: don't they realize the kind of helping more than hurting.
- 3:28Speaker 2: When are they going to regroup and figure out a
- 3:30Speaker 2: better strategy?
- 3:31Speaker 1: Yeah? How about how about this? How about Al Green?
- 3:34Speaker 1: There was another loss last night. Al Green, the guy
- 3:37Speaker 1: with the kne was yelling at him at the State
- 3:39Speaker 1: of the Union. You know, apparently they you know, they
- 3:41Speaker 1: redistricted everything in Texas, and he moved into a new
- 3:44Speaker 1: district and he got crushed by some guy who's like
- 3:48Speaker 1: old enough to be young enough to be his grandson.
- 3:51Speaker 1: And I was thinking, you know, al forgot his great
- 3:54Speaker 1: hit from the nineteen seventies, Why can't why don't we
- 3:56Speaker 1: stay together?
- 3:57Speaker 2: Bad thing? I love the other Algreen, the singing.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's I think that's probably one reason
- 4:09Speaker 1: why the the Algreen with the cane uh one initially
- 4:14Speaker 1: won in Houston.
- 4:15Speaker 2: You know that's a good theory.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I like that.
- 4:20Speaker 2: So uh hey uh Barney Frank passed away. You Yes,
- 4:26Speaker 2: way back then he was considered an extreme, total left
- 4:29Speaker 2: wing kookie left. Now he's like a moderate in the
- 4:32Speaker 2: Democratic Party. What happened?
- 4:33Speaker 1: Yeah, No, I was thinking about that. You know, he
- 4:36Speaker 1: you know, he wrote he's got this book coming out
- 4:38Speaker 1: posthumously saying, you know, the Democrats have gone too far.
- 4:42Speaker 1: And you know the the governor of Massachusetts is a
- 4:45Speaker 1: lesbian now you know, from Maryland, and uh, you know
- 4:49Speaker 1: she last week she tried to put somebody on the
- 4:51Speaker 1: parole board to they're letting her there. They're just rubber
- 4:54Speaker 1: stamping out these murderers, one after another on the parole board.
- 4:57Speaker 1: It was too much for her. She's running for reelection,
- 5:00Speaker 1: and the Governor's Council, which you know approves the Pearle Board,
- 5:03Speaker 1: they refuse to put a prosecutor on the parole board.
- 5:06Speaker 1: And she she had to come out and say, hey,
- 5:09Speaker 1: it's gone too far. And then you had Tammy Duckworth
- 5:12Speaker 1: in Illinois. You know when the on Memorial Day, when
- 5:15Speaker 1: the when the Democrat National Committee put out the tweets
- 5:19Speaker 1: saying saying, would like to thank all the people who
- 5:22Speaker 1: died in Trump's unnecessary war and Iran in I mean,
- 5:25Speaker 1: just these people are out. I mean, when you've got
- 5:28Speaker 1: Barney Frank Mara Heey and Tammy Duckworth saying I think
- 5:32Speaker 1: you guys have gone too far. I think it's pretty
- 5:35Speaker 1: clear you know that they have gone too far, isn't it.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yeah, So at some point the cycle changes, you turn
- 5:43Speaker 2: a corner. Are we starting to turn that corner? Is
- 5:45Speaker 2: this the beginning and the end of that craziness?
- 5:48Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know. I'm just looking at
- 5:52Speaker 1: the headline in the New York Post today, ma'am. Donnie
- 5:55Speaker 1: wants to seize apartments from landlords give them to nonprofits.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I mean, couldn't you make the argument that the New
- 6:02Speaker 1: York Housing Authority is a nonprofit and they're the biggest
- 6:06Speaker 1: slumlord in the city, just like every other city, aren't they.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I mean, this is insanity, isn't it. I mean, he
- 6:12Speaker 1: hasn't learned. He isn't you know, I mean to forget
- 6:15Speaker 1: you know, Barney and Mara and Tammy. I mean, he's
- 6:19Speaker 1: not He's not taking his foot off the gas pedal.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Is it really? Is it insanity? Or is this a
- 6:26Speaker 2: communist the way of thinking that let's the start here,
- 6:30Speaker 2: governments seizing private property and taking control of it at
- 6:33Speaker 2: the beginning of something for him?
- 6:35Speaker 1: I think you know he did. You see the Supreme
- 6:39Speaker 1: Court this last week ruled this this American company that
- 6:43Speaker 1: owned the docks in Havana. They've been trying to get him,
- 6:46Speaker 1: They've been trying to get some kind of ruling against
- 6:48Speaker 1: the communists in Qube, but the castros for seventy years
- 6:51Speaker 1: for seizing the docks, and finally the Supreme Court said, yeah,
- 6:55Speaker 1: you've got to you've got a case. You can get
- 6:57Speaker 1: the money back from the communist I mean, there's he
- 6:59Speaker 1: had a he got to start reading some of these
- 7:01Speaker 1: Supreme Court rulings. I mean it, you know, eventually it
- 7:05Speaker 1: does go back the other way. And you know, it
- 7:07Speaker 1: doesn't go back the other way because communism succeeds. It
- 7:10Speaker 1: goes back the other way because finally everything is in
- 7:14Speaker 1: ruins and you have to you have to go in
- 7:17Speaker 1: a different direction. And that's apparently this is what Mamdani
- 7:21Speaker 1: wants to do. He wants to just take down everything.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It's gonna it's and he's going to end up. You know,
- 7:28Speaker 1: it's going to be the same thing with the Havana docks,
- 7:30Speaker 1: seizing apartments. The government is going to take over the
- 7:36Speaker 1: housing to make it better. And has he ever been
- 7:39Speaker 1: to a public housing project? Yeah?
- 7:42Speaker 2: Well, you know, Democrats don't follow science. They don't follow
- 7:45Speaker 2: this the science of running an economy. We know what works.
- 7:47Speaker 2: We know it doesn't work. We've tested socialism ten thousand times,
- 7:51Speaker 2: always but they don't care about the science. They'll keep
- 7:54Speaker 2: doing it. So, hey, we got you're the Kennedy expert
- 7:58Speaker 2: of the world. We have this crazy Kennedy kid, son
- 8:02Speaker 2: of Caroline Kennedy, Jack Schlosberg.
- 8:04Speaker 1: He's behind though, he's behind in the polls though. I
- 8:07Speaker 1: saw that. That's good news.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Oh good, Yeah, because he's running for Congress here.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Well, he's got like eleven percent, right, he's like running
- 8:14Speaker 1: third or fourth. That's good. I'm glad. Maybe maybe New
- 8:17Speaker 1: York is so bringing.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Up yeah, but well, or maybe he's just really but
- 8:21Speaker 2: have you have you gotten a listen to him? He's
- 8:23Speaker 2: the dumbest, weirdest yuh. But what is it with these Kennedy's.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, he's he's he's really, he's
- 8:32Speaker 1: a he's a real not yeah, I mean, and some
- 8:35Speaker 1: of them they can blame it on the booze, but
- 8:36Speaker 1: I don't think. I don't think he's I don't think
- 8:38Speaker 1: he's got an alcohol problem. He's just insane.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's I was never a Caroline fan. And
- 8:45Speaker 2: you know her husband, Ede Schlosburg. Really yeah, very bad
- 8:50Speaker 2: vibe coming off that guy. So, uh, this is the
- 8:53Speaker 2: result of those two. But Hey, Howie Carr, great stuff
- 8:57Speaker 2: his books. Get his books and get Ken de Babylon,
- 9:00Speaker 2: get the Whitey Bulger book. But tell us about your

- 9:10Speaker 1: There's corruption is out of control here in Massachusetts and
- 9:12Speaker 1: it continues to be. I centered it on the trial
- 9:16Speaker 1: Double Jeopardy, murder trials of an innocent woman and uh
- 9:19Speaker 1: in the suburban Boston, the Karen Reid. But it's it's
- 9:23Speaker 1: it's just there's so much stuff out there, and I've got, uh,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I've got new books on the way. I'm gonna I'm

- 9:33Speaker 1: his last statement, one hundred and forty pages of handwritten notes.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I'm trying to get him. Yeah, it's it's, I mean,
- 9:40Speaker 1: it's you know, he's just trying to settle all scores
- 9:42Speaker 1: and all that kind of stuff. But I think it'd
- 9:44Speaker 1: be pretty interesting. I'm just trying to get it unsealed
