- 5:56at large. In business news, a Bitcoin blunder
- 6:02for the ages has led to $40 billion accidentally
- 6:06given away. A botched prize giveaway at BitHum,
- 6:11a South Korean cryptocurrency exchange, has sparked
- 6:14controversy. Instead of distributing 620 ,000

- 7:52back to the show. Let's talk science. A study
- 7:56has revealed that Pompeii's oldest baths show
- 7:59how dirty Roman hygiene could be. Mineral crusts
- 8:03preserved in these baths recorded contaminated,
- 8:06metal -laced water alongside chemical cycles
- 8:08linked to volcanic activity. Geoscientist Dr.
- 8:13Gul Sermalihindi documented that early bathwater
- 8:16came from mineral -rich wells that accumulated
- 8:19contaminants over time. The findings challenge
- 8:22the stereotype of clean Rome, showing that stagnant
- 8:26water conditions did not meet ideal hygienic
- 8:29standards. This study, published in the Proceedings
- 8:33of the National Academy of Sciences, emphasizes
- 8:36the importance of understanding ancient water
- 8:39systems. And in entertainment news, Britney Spears
- 8:46has sold the rights to her extensive music catalogue,
- 8:49which includes hits like Baby One More Time and
- 8:52Toxic. The pop superstar sold her stake to Primary
- 8:56Wave. the same publisher that owns the catalogs
- 8:59of legends like Prince and Whitney Houston. While
- 9:04the exact amount Spears received is not confirmed,
- 9:07it is believed to be around $200 million. This
- 9:11trend of artists selling music rights is becoming
- 9:14common, with recent sales by other stars as well.
- 9:18Spears has not released a full album since Glory
- 9:21in 2016, but her influence remains significant
- 9:25in the industry. Well, alrighty folks, it's time
- 9:30for the quote of the day. And today, our quote
- 9:34comes from the American science fiction writer
- 9:37Isaac Asimov. And he said, And that's a wrap
