- 1:45Speaker 1: I like it, I like it.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Yes, I'm extremely clever. Yeah sometimes yeah. I was really
- 1:53Speaker 4: trying to be more clever than that, but nothing came
- 1:56Speaker 4: to me. I mean, I was thinking, you know, I
- 2:00Speaker 4: could do something about busting a nut, busting a moon.
- 2:04Speaker 4: It's just you know, the last time I did something
- 2:08Speaker 4: like that, we got the the mo need.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Yeah, for talking about Oswald's discharge of epic proportions.

- 2:54Speaker 4: But anyway, what's up, folks? Welcome in. It's Friday night show,
- 2:58Speaker 4: so we're going to be talking about Lee Harvey Oswald's

- 3:05Speaker 4: actually different periods in his life. But before we do,
- 3:10Speaker 4: let's welcome in some folks, and I've got something to
- 3:12Speaker 4: say to one of them. Okay, let's see Scott is

- 4:50Speaker 4: smash the like button. Folks. Everyone on the bus yep,
- 4:54Speaker 4: everybody is on the the Lone Gumans short bus. Which
- 4:59Speaker 4: is something else I was going to do part of
- 5:01Speaker 4: the graphic. I was going to get a short bus
- 5:04Speaker 4: and put our logos all over it.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Are you could have put our faces like in different seats. Yeah,
- 5:12Speaker 1: there's a commission exhibit of the inside of the bus
- 5:16Speaker 1: that Oswald allegedly boarded it and got off, and we
- 5:20Speaker 1: could have made a good graphic out of that. Next time.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Maybe a bus hitting you on your scooter, launching you
- 5:26Speaker 4: in hey, never know never. What's up? See no Evil
- 5:37Speaker 4: Move seven?

- 5:56Speaker 4: in the house, Paula Jane, Paula Paula.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Welcome, Welcome, and Zendar sixty one. Good evening, and.
- 6:06Speaker 4: Then it was in there, in there. I'm sure more
- 6:13Speaker 4: will straggle in of course, others lurking. That's okay too.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Yeah, that's okay, okay, sure, yeah, oh hey Dean, how
- 6:27Speaker 1: are you Rob? Just to update everyone on Wednesday on
- 6:31Speaker 1: our usual members only show and uh usually a preview
- 6:38Speaker 1: of Friday's episode. We were not sure what we wanted
- 6:41Speaker 1: to do, but we noticed there was a lot of
- 6:44Speaker 1: discussion a couple of episodes ago on Lee Harvey Oswald
- 6:49Speaker 1: and his Dallas bus adventures and some of the.
- 6:56Speaker 4: Claims by Judy Baker on the Secret Wednesday.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yep, conflicting evidence that goes with a lot of
- 7:04Speaker 1: his bus things. And you can go from Dallas to
- 7:06Speaker 1: Mexico City there and back. And I know you're going
- 7:11Speaker 1: to cover New Orleans first, so we thought that that
- 7:14Speaker 1: would be a good topic. So we decided that Thursday yesterday.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, so all right, let's kick it off
- 7:24Speaker 4: in New Orleans, Joe. So Judith Verry Baker made this
- 7:28Speaker 4: claim right where hern Lee Harvey Oswald would ride the
- 7:33Speaker 4: bus catch the bus together. Now, one thing I did
- 7:38Speaker 4: not have when I was looking at this is where,
- 7:43Speaker 4: and somebody might know in the chat. I don't know.
- 7:45Speaker 4: If you do put it in there and we can
- 7:47Speaker 4: look it up real quick, but where was Judy Baker
- 7:51Speaker 4: living in New Orleans when she was working at Riley
- 7:55Speaker 4: Coffee Company? Because Joe, I have a little map, and
- 8:01Speaker 4: I was thinking to myself, okay, well this place Riley
- 8:05Speaker 4: Coffee Company, right is kind of on Magazine Street. Sometimes
- 8:12Speaker 4: you see it with the Magazine Street address, the other
- 8:14Speaker 4: other times it's padroyous and it may be on the corner.
- 8:18Speaker 4: It might be one of those like Lafayette and Camp situations.
- 8:21Speaker 4: I don't know where it has two different addresses. But
- 8:27Speaker 4: I was thinking to myself, okay, well, if they're both
- 8:29Speaker 4: on Magazine Street, well why would Lee Harvey Oswall need
- 8:33Speaker 4: to ride a bus to work? You know, you figured
- 8:35Speaker 4: it he'd be pretty close, you know what I'm saying.
- 8:39Speaker 4: So I pulled up a map, Joe, and then it's
- 8:43Speaker 4: actually a little further than I thought. Magazine Street must
- 8:47Speaker 4: be long as hell, Okay, because I looking on the
- 8:56Speaker 4: Google map. Of course, this is present day. Right by bus,
- 9:01Speaker 4: it would take you twenty seven minutes from Lee Harveyadzo's
- 9:06Speaker 4: house or the little apartment he was renting at forty
- 9:10Speaker 4: nine oh five Magazine Street to Riley Foods Company, and
- 9:15Speaker 4: it would take an hour and twenty minutes to walk
- 9:18Speaker 4: there each way. Yeah, that's a hike. That is a
- 9:25Speaker 4: freaking hike.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Yeah, and maybe it wasn't as long as sixty three,
- 9:30Speaker 1: but close.
- 9:32Speaker 4: Maybe maybe it might have been longer because there might
- 9:35Speaker 4: have been fewer roads back in sixty three. I don't know,
- 9:41Speaker 4: but yeah, I mean either way, I mean walking, I
- 9:46Speaker 4: mean an hour and twenty minutes each way. That's pretty
- 9:49Speaker 4: much a no for me, dog, and half an hour
- 9:57Speaker 4: by bus is pretty It pretty sucks too, you know.
- 10:03Speaker 4: So I was just thinking to myself, Okay, where was
- 10:05Speaker 4: Judy Baker living on this Magazine Street line? Because there
- 10:09Speaker 4: was a dedicated line that that traversed this Maga Street
- 10:13Speaker 4: Magazine Street corridor. Because once you get down towards Riley
- 10:19Speaker 4: Coffee Company, which is somewhere down in this area where
- 10:23Speaker 4: the old uh number seventy seven hotel is this little
- 10:29Speaker 4: paint right here. Yeah, but once you're down there, you're
- 10:34Speaker 4: like right by like Lafayette Camp, Canal Street, you know,
- 10:38Speaker 4: Adrian in Alba's garage. All the all the cool spots
- 10:42Speaker 4: are like right way down there, right yeah. So I
- 10:48Speaker 4: was just wondering where she may have been staying, because
- 10:51Speaker 4: it would appear to me that once this bus is
- 10:54Speaker 4: on Magazine Street, it's not veering off Magazine Street. Yeah,
- 11:00Speaker 4: it's going straight down, you know what I mean. That
- 11:05Speaker 4: would be my guess.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Anyway, mine as well.
- 11:11Speaker 4: And again do we have the plethora of people other
- 11:15Speaker 4: than Judy Baker stating I rode on this bus with
- 11:21Speaker 4: Lee Oswald for two months when he worked at Rally
- 11:23Speaker 4: Coffee Company, and half an hour each way. It is
- 11:27Speaker 4: a long time to sit around sitting on a bus
- 11:29Speaker 4: and like look at people and talk to people, or
- 11:33Speaker 4: people watch or you know, kind of see who's getting
- 11:37Speaker 4: on who's getting off. Type of thing and for two months.
- 11:41Speaker 4: You think somebody would notice this, dude, you know what
- 11:45Speaker 4: I mean? Mm hmm, especially if he was clandestinely meeting
- 11:51Speaker 4: up with a chick on the bus, you know, instead
- 11:56Speaker 4: of just sit there reading this newspaper all the whole way.
- 12:00Speaker 4: You know, it would be odd if you know, a
- 12:02Speaker 4: chick got on the bus and then you know, they
- 12:06Speaker 4: got all excited to see each other and they sat
- 12:07Speaker 4: together and you know, we're giggly and shit, you know
- 12:12Speaker 4: what I mean, or vice versa, Whether she was already
- 12:15Speaker 4: on the bus and then he got on the bus
- 12:17Speaker 4: and then they kind of sat together and we're like
- 12:19Speaker 4: called lovey dovey and shit. I mean, that would stick
- 12:22Speaker 4: out in some people's minds with nothing none of that.
- 12:31Speaker 4: So there's that right now. Fast forward to September of
- 12:40Speaker 4: nineteen sixty three, and on September the twenty fifth, somewhere
- 12:46Speaker 4: between five am and ten thirty am, Lee Harvey Oswald
- 12:52Speaker 4: picked up his unemployment check from his PO box three
- 12:55Speaker 4: hundred and sixty one or three zero zero sixty one
- 12:59Speaker 4: at the Lafayette Square Post office in downtown New Orleans.
- 13:04Speaker 4: At the same time, he filed a request to forward
- 13:06Speaker 4: his mail to Ruce Payne's irving address in Dallas. Outside Dallas,
- 13:15Speaker 4: he traveled three miles back to his neighborhood that he
- 13:21Speaker 4: lived in. Okay, we just saw the map, so let
- 13:27Speaker 4: me pop it up there again real quick. So the
- 13:32Speaker 4: Lafayette Square is down here over here by Camp and
- 13:37Speaker 4: Lafayette Street, and apparently there's a post office over there. Well,
- 13:42Speaker 4: that's where he picked up his unplument check. And then
- 13:46Speaker 4: he traveled three miles back to his neighborhood, all the
- 13:49Speaker 4: way back down here and then some okay, that's off
- 13:54Speaker 4: the map, to forty three h three Magazine Street to
- 13:58Speaker 4: a Win Dixie store that was located at four three
- 14:03Speaker 4: to zho three Magazine Street. He then left out of
- 14:09Speaker 4: New Orleans allegedly by bus okay, And I throw it
- 14:15Speaker 4: allegedly there because of several reasons, because there is no
- 14:23Speaker 4: records of Lee Harvey Oswald on any bus leaving New
- 14:28Speaker 4: Orleans and going to Houston, Okay, which is where he
- 14:34Speaker 4: supposedly ended up before boarding the bus that would take
- 14:38Speaker 4: him down to Laredo Nuevo and then onto Mexico City.
- 14:46Speaker 4: There's also the slight problem Joe of the Sylvia Odio incident,
- 14:51Speaker 4: which occurred on September the twenty fifth, now November the
- 14:56Speaker 4: twenty sixth. That morning is allegedly and Lee Harvey Oswell
- 15:01Speaker 4: borded a bus in Houston to go to Laredo and
- 15:05Speaker 4: Nuevo and then across the border and onto Mexico City. Now,
- 15:13Speaker 4: the reason why the Silvia Odio incident is a giant
- 15:19Speaker 4: problem is because he was allegedly accompanied by two other people.
- 15:29Speaker 4: There is speculation whether or not Oswald could have gotten
- 15:32Speaker 4: a ride from New Orleans to Dallas to Sylvia Odios
- 15:41Speaker 4: and whatever else they were doing right, and then separated
- 15:46Speaker 4: from them went to Houston the next day. Now, the
- 15:53Speaker 4: reason that this is a problem is because, like I said,
- 15:59Speaker 4: there's no authentication whatsoever, no documents, no manifests, no nothing
- 16:07Speaker 4: putting Lee Harvey Oswald on a bus from New Orleans
- 16:11Speaker 4: to Houston. So how did he get there. It's speculated
- 16:16Speaker 4: that he took a bus, but nobody knows for sure
- 16:19Speaker 4: because we have zero proof of it. And this is
- 16:24Speaker 4: all part of the Mexico City story, which we'll get
- 16:29Speaker 4: into a little bit more later. But there are problems
- 16:37Speaker 4: with the story as well, and it ties in so
- 16:46Speaker 4: according to Mexican Immigration records. Oswald crossed the border into
- 16:52Speaker 4: Mexico from Laredo at about one point thirty two pm
- 16:57Speaker 4: on twenty sixth of September, and then he was on
- 17:03Speaker 4: a Red Arrow bus number five one six that departed
- 17:08Speaker 4: Nuevo Laredo on the Mexican side of the border at
- 17:11Speaker 4: two point fifteen pm, the destination being Mexico City. Now
- 17:17Speaker 4: here his name appears on the passenger manifest and we
- 17:21Speaker 4: have numerous witnesses who saw and spoke to him on
- 17:25Speaker 4: that bus. Okay, again, when you're talking about Mexico City,
- 17:30Speaker 4: did he go, wasn't him? Was it an imposture or both?
- 17:36Speaker 4: Was he impersonated? Did he really go? This is where
- 17:40Speaker 4: it all turns a little murky because to me to
- 17:44Speaker 4: have these eyewitnesses, Albert Osbourne, you have the tray's Australian
- 17:50Speaker 4: chicks right, and I think there was another married couple
- 17:53Speaker 4: on there that also said that they saw Oswald right now.
- 18:00Speaker 4: The last time he was seen in New Orleans when
- 18:04Speaker 4: he left his apartment there for the last time and
- 18:08Speaker 4: didn't pay his rent or whatever. M His landlady, Missus Gardner,
- 18:20Speaker 4: stated that he left with a suitcase and a bag,
- 18:25Speaker 4: right somewhere along the way one of these items went
- 18:32Speaker 4: missing because according to I believe it was cleaning the
- 18:39Speaker 4: cleaning lady in the Hotel de Commercio or wherever he
- 18:43Speaker 4: was staying there in Mexico City. She said he only
- 18:48Speaker 4: had a like a Duffel bag in his room. No suitcase.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it might it might have been that marine bag possibly.
- 18:58Speaker 4: Yeah. Trying to figure out what bag it was, and
- 19:02Speaker 4: you know, whether it was like a beige, beige type
- 19:05Speaker 4: bag or a blue bag. I'm not sure. I'd have
- 19:08Speaker 4: to go back and really really dive in. But so
- 19:12Speaker 4: we have possibly a missing piece of luggage that maybe
- 19:18Speaker 4: Oswald didn't really leave New Orleans with or did he.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Now.
- 19:28Speaker 4: The Warrant Commission had the hypothesis that Oswald traveled by
- 19:34Speaker 4: bus by himself directly from New Orleans to the US
- 19:40Speaker 4: Mexican border at Laredo Nuevo and then on to Mexico City.
- 19:44Speaker 4: The alternative hypothesis, actually supported by Vincent Bugliosi, is that
- 19:51Speaker 4: Oswald departed New Orleans by a car with two Cubans
- 19:55Speaker 4: and detoured to Dallas for an encounter with the anti
- 19:58Speaker 4: caster Cuban exile Silvia Odio. Then all, Oswald made his
- 20:03Speaker 4: way from Dallas to the border at Larrato and on
- 20:05Speaker 4: to Mexico City. Now, could it be Joe that these
- 20:09Speaker 4: travelers that Oswald was with, maybe they didn't come from
- 20:14Speaker 4: New Orleans. Maybe they came from Florida on their way
- 20:19Speaker 4: through New Orleans to Texas. Excuse me, another possibility, Yeah,
- 20:26Speaker 4: for sure, because then we have the story right of
- 20:31Speaker 4: Melbourne Marcatti's what was her other name? Their stripper name?
- 20:39Speaker 4: I'm not sure, come on road share me there you go.
- 20:48Speaker 4: You know that she was in a car and she overheard,
- 20:54Speaker 4: you know, tellings of what was gonna be going down
- 20:59Speaker 4: in Dallas, and that's where they were headed to, was Dallas.
- 21:02Speaker 4: So maybe they just hadn't gotten through New Orleans yet
- 21:07Speaker 4: and picked Oswald up. Quite possible. We've also heard stories
- 21:13Speaker 4: of other stories where you know, I Howard Hunt, Frank Sturgis, Oswald,
- 21:18Speaker 4: Mariita Lorenz Uh, you know, we're hold up in some
- 21:22Speaker 4: hotel in Dallas. But did they caravaned, you know, through
- 21:28Speaker 4: New Orleans to Texas. So there's several ways, and hell,
- 21:32Speaker 4: David Ferry could even flew him in, right, I mean,
- 21:38Speaker 4: you never know, there's several ways that Oswald could have
- 21:40Speaker 4: gotten to Texas. We just don't know exactly how. Thank
- 21:47Speaker 4: you John, Yes, thank you John. Appreciate you brother. Yeah,
- 22:01Speaker 4: So why would I as well pick up his unemployment
- 22:04Speaker 4: check downtown, then travel three miles back to winn Dixie
- 22:07Speaker 4: near his house, and then travel back downtown to catch
- 22:10Speaker 4: a bus. Why not catch the check downtown as he
- 22:14Speaker 4: had done before? Joe at where?
- 22:20Speaker 1: Uh?
- 22:23Speaker 4: Uh?
- 22:24Speaker 1: Was it Martin's Cafe?
- 22:26Speaker 4: Yes? Martin's Cafe? Way to wait to remember good recall
- 22:33Speaker 4: sir who was.
- 22:35Speaker 1: The owner of Martin's Cafe. I'm gonna throw it back
- 22:39Speaker 1: at you.
- 22:41Speaker 4: Jay Martin.
- 22:43Speaker 1: It was a J.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Martin?
- 22:44Speaker 1: I think it was?
- 22:45Speaker 4: Uh was it J Martin? Because that's why he was
- 22:47Speaker 4: on the list, Yeah, Orlando Jay Martin.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Yeah, which we had looked into whether he was Eugenio Martinez,
- 23:01Speaker 1: I think, but we we could have. Yeah, that's not true,
- 23:05Speaker 1: but we tried.
- 23:07Speaker 4: We tried. So Yeah, that's an odd question. Why would
- 23:11Speaker 4: Oswald do that, especially when he's total luggage you know
- 23:13Speaker 4: what I mean? Like he didn't go back to his
- 23:17Speaker 4: apartment after this, He left with his suitcase in a bag,
- 23:22Speaker 4: went to get his check, then went all the way
- 23:24Speaker 4: back to cash his check then all the way back
- 23:26Speaker 4: downtown to allegedly where we would have to catch a bus. Right,
- 23:33Speaker 4: makes no sense? Yeah, so again I told you his
- 23:39Speaker 4: name or any of his aliases that means alternative ways
- 23:45Speaker 4: of doing his name like l or O. H Lee
- 23:50Speaker 4: or Harvey Lee Oswald or Lee Henry Oswald or Harvey
- 23:55Speaker 4: Oswald Lee or Lee Harvey Oswald or Alixe Hiddell or
- 23:59Speaker 4: any of the variations of his name or his name
- 24:02Speaker 4: were not on any manifest for any buses Houston bound
- 24:07Speaker 4: from New Orleans, and no eyewitnesses claimed to have seen
- 24:11Speaker 4: him on any Houston bound bus leaving New Orleans. So
- 24:17Speaker 4: to me, that casts a lot of doubt on Oswald
- 24:19Speaker 4: leaving New Orleans on a bus. Just saying so. The
- 24:31Speaker 4: onarean commissioned hypothesis is that Oswald then departed Houston by
- 24:34Speaker 4: bus at two thirty five in the morning on the
- 24:36Speaker 4: twenty six, arriving in Laredo. So Oswald would have had
- 24:42Speaker 4: to leave Dallas at some point after meeting Silviodio. Because
- 24:47Speaker 4: I think correct me if I'm wrong, chat, how far
- 24:51Speaker 4: is I'm from Houston to Dallas three hours? Just guessing, Oh,
- 25:04Speaker 4: Philip's in the chat up Paul Jes in the chat
- 25:09Speaker 4: What's up Paul, Paul so Yes. Eight months later after
- 25:21Speaker 4: the assassination, a British couple who were also on their
- 25:25Speaker 4: way to Mexico City that September day, testified they saw
- 25:27Speaker 4: Oswald on the bus somewhere between Houston and Laredo. They admitted, however,
- 25:34Speaker 4: they did not actually talk to him until much later
- 25:36Speaker 4: that afternoon, while on the Red Arrow bus in northern
- 25:39Speaker 4: Mexico on the way to Mexico City. Alternatively, Sylvia Odio
- 25:46Speaker 4: testified to the Warrant Commission, and her sister Annie corroborated
- 25:50Speaker 4: that on one evening late September sixty three, at about
- 25:54Speaker 4: nine pm, three men, two Cubans and one American, arrived
- 25:59Speaker 4: by car to their apartment in Dallas. The taller of
- 26:03Speaker 4: the two Cubans was the driver and called himself Leopoldo,
- 26:06Speaker 4: and the shorter of the two called himself Angelo. Speaking
- 26:10Speaker 4: in Spanish directly to Odeo, Leopoldo introduced the American as
- 26:14Speaker 4: Leon Oswald, a former marine. According to his Odio, he
- 26:19Speaker 4: mentioned the name Leon Oswald at least twice. Leopoldo said
- 26:24Speaker 4: that they had just arrived from New Orleans and would
- 26:26Speaker 4: be traveling on to Mexico. So if they were at
- 26:31Speaker 4: her house at nine pm in Dallas and it is
- 26:34Speaker 4: a three that Mike says, yeah, about three and a
- 26:36Speaker 4: half four hours, thank you, Paul, thank you, Flee, thank you, Mike,
- 26:43Speaker 4: thank you.
- 26:46Speaker 1: So yes, look at the chat coming through there. That
- 26:49Speaker 1: is awesome.
- 26:50Speaker 4: That would put him coming in just under the wire
- 26:53Speaker 4: to get on that bus at two thirty five in
- 26:55Speaker 4: the morning in Houston. So they must have that. Man.
- 26:59Speaker 4: If they arrive at Audios at nine pm, they would
- 27:02Speaker 4: probably stay there, you know a little while, maybe a
- 27:04Speaker 4: half hour, so they would have had to drive pretty
- 27:08Speaker 4: much directly straight on to Houston to make sure that
- 27:12Speaker 4: Oswald got on this bus. If this is Oswald and
- 27:17Speaker 4: the company of these guys. But apparently they told Odio
- 27:20Speaker 4: that they had come from New Orleans and they were
- 27:24Speaker 4: driving a vehicle. Okay, so this is the alternative theory
- 27:29Speaker 4: to a huge to a New Orleans Houston bus ride.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Missus Odio refused to help them and send them on
- 27:39Speaker 4: their way, right, so let's move on a little bit.
- 27:49Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Perpetual concepts. Rover Wanderer, Nomad vagabond, call lead what.
- 27:59Speaker 4: You well, Yes, that that is the Jones Mellon's theory
- 28:07Speaker 4: that Angelo was on hell Mergado who later changed his
- 28:12Speaker 4: name to Kennedy. Yeah, yeah, so Joe, and looking at this,
- 28:21Speaker 4: you know, of course, I like to peruse the HSCA
- 28:26Speaker 4: because I just feel like they did a little better work,
- 28:31Speaker 4: right at some point sometimes yeah yeah, not all, not
- 28:37Speaker 4: all the time, but most of the time. And I
- 28:40Speaker 4: was so disappointed when I came across this as part
- 28:42Speaker 4: of the HSCA report, Okay, in Part B, they were
- 28:49Speaker 4: outlining differences between the Warrant Commission investigation of Lee Harvey
- 28:52Speaker 4: Oswoll's activities of Mexico and the House Select Committee on
- 28:56Speaker 4: Assassinations investigation. So the approach taken by this committee's investigation
- 29:02Speaker 4: differs from that of the Warren Commission, primarily in terms
- 29:05Speaker 4: of scope. The Warren Commission and the investigative agencies at
- 29:10Speaker 4: its disposal went to great links to establish Oswald's travel
- 29:13Speaker 4: to and from Mexico and devoted minimal effort to evaluating
- 29:18Speaker 4: Oswald's contacts with the Cuban and Soviet consulates. Now this
- 29:22Speaker 4: is true if you go to the Warren Commission volumes
- 29:26Speaker 4: and you start looking for the Mexico City trip. Your
- 29:30Speaker 4: brain will melt from the amount of detail that they
- 29:34Speaker 4: went into to establish his going to and coming from Mexico.
- 29:40Speaker 4: I mean, they really tried with the whole bus thing
- 29:44Speaker 4: and the interviews with people and trying to establish, you know,
- 29:50Speaker 4: that he that he did go to Mexico and he
- 29:52Speaker 4: did come back a certain way. And that's in stark
- 29:57Speaker 4: contrast to the HSCA it says it's a conclusion of
- 30:03Speaker 4: this committee that the Warrant Commission correctly established that Oswald
- 30:07Speaker 4: had traveled to Mexico City. Hence, this committee has chosen
- 30:11Speaker 4: not to reinvestigate Oswald's travel to and from Mexico City. Instead,
- 30:18Speaker 4: the committe's approach has been to focus narrowly on Oswald's
- 30:21Speaker 4: contact with the Soviet and Cuban diplomatic missions in Mexico
- 30:25Speaker 4: City and on evidence that was not available to the
- 30:28Speaker 4: Warrant Commission at the time. So the HFCA didn't really
- 30:33Speaker 4: dive in too much or re investigate Oswald's comings and
- 30:37Speaker 4: going from Mexico. I kind of wish they would have,
- 30:44Speaker 4: because it seems to me like the FBI was being
- 30:47Speaker 4: a little picky and choosy with some of their facts
- 30:51Speaker 4: and possibly even changing documents when it comes to Oswald
- 30:57Speaker 4: and the Mexican government and some of the official border
- 31:04Speaker 4: crossing documents things like that, because I believe on the
- 31:07Speaker 4: way back, on the way back, that they don't have
- 31:12Speaker 4: Oswald on the official manifest like his name's just not there.
- 31:20Speaker 4: But like Albert Osborne is, the two Australian chicks are
- 31:24Speaker 4: a certain couple, the British couples on there. But no,
- 31:28Speaker 4: and maybe it's going down and not coming back. I
- 31:30Speaker 4: don't know, but one of the directions, he's just simply
- 31:36Speaker 4: not on this manifest And this was supposedly obtained straight
- 31:40Speaker 4: from the Mexican government, and nobody knows if this was
- 31:46Speaker 4: changed to try to deter this by the FBI, because look,
- 31:52Speaker 4: Oswald going to Mexico is not good for the FBI
- 31:58Speaker 4: and the CIA if he's to be the loan assassin,
- 32:03Speaker 4: because in doing so, you have him going to the
- 32:06Speaker 4: Cuban Embassy, the Russian or I'm sorry, the Human consulate
- 32:10Speaker 4: and in the Russian embassy down there in Mexico, and
- 32:14Speaker 4: that's not good. It paints him as a pro Russian,
- 32:19Speaker 4: pro Castro type of deal. Like you know, it's not good.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Yeah, he's tripping through very secretative CIA operations, you know
- 32:30Speaker 1: what I mean, l I envoy lad. I think I
- 32:34Speaker 1: believe the other one was that could be wrong on that,
- 32:38Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And that's when they said
- 32:39Speaker 1: the cameras didn't work. I mean, he was endangering these
- 32:44Speaker 1: top secret operations by kind of tripping his way through there.
- 32:52Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah. Then there's a lot to get into
- 32:56Speaker 4: when it comes to that. But we're not talking about
- 32:58Speaker 4: that either tonight.
- 32:59Speaker 1: No, that's a whole different Uh who follow act? Yeah yeah,
- 33:05Speaker 1: but uh, it would be interesting, I mean it would
- 33:11Speaker 1: I don't see it probable that like Angleton, who was
- 33:16Speaker 1: controlling the Osawa file, would have kind of put him
- 33:21Speaker 1: through his own operations there, he's like stepping on his
- 33:25Speaker 1: own operations. It's it's it's very complicated.
- 33:29Speaker 4: But another show, Yes, another show. Another show. Now I
- 33:38Speaker 4: came across I don't know what is. I think it's
- 33:42Speaker 4: a CI a document, internal CIA document, and they were
- 33:47Speaker 4: trying to figure out certain things about Oswald and they
- 34:00Speaker 4: talk about even the murder weapons supposedly being purchased from
- 34:06Speaker 4: clients sporting goods by mail. Blah blah blah blah blah.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Subject was arrested New Orleans eight nine sixty three. Charge
- 34:15Speaker 4: was disturbing the peace, passing out pro Cuban literature and
- 34:20Speaker 4: fair play for Cuba Committee Ajhidel YadA, YadA, YadA. And
- 34:26Speaker 4: this is all angles with respect to Hydel and embassy
- 34:29Speaker 4: visits of persons who may be identical with Hydel in
- 34:32Speaker 4: Mexico City must be explored. The following items require principal
- 34:37Speaker 4: attention number one. Number one check Mexican border for passage
- 34:45Speaker 4: into Mexico under the subject's name and all aliases. Number
- 34:53Speaker 4: two keep in mind a letter. No additional information is
- 34:58Speaker 4: known by the writer concerning this letter dated November eighteen
- 35:02Speaker 4: sixty three, where in Hydel indicated he recently met Comisar
- 35:06Speaker 4: Costa at the Soviet Embassy and stated in the letter
- 35:09Speaker 4: he would like to renew his visa. Number three, have
- 35:14Speaker 4: CIA Mexico look at the photo of Oswald to see
- 35:17Speaker 4: if he may be an employee of the Cuban Embassy
- 35:19Speaker 4: in Mexico City and a messenger and prepare for possible
- 35:24Speaker 4: identification with other embassy employees. Number four have CIA Mexico
- 35:30Speaker 4: City review available photographs from more than one photograph of
- 35:34Speaker 4: visits of subject or Hohdel of more than one time
- 35:37Speaker 4: at the Cuban and Soviet embassies also checked to determine
- 35:41Speaker 4: the dates hydel In Oswald were in Mexico City. It
- 35:46Speaker 4: is important to have the CIA identify Oswald as a
- 35:48Speaker 4: visitor to either embassy. Check all hotel registrations for Oswald
- 35:53Speaker 4: under true name in aliases. So this this is an
- 36:01Speaker 4: FBI document in i CIA. And here's why mister Belmont
- 36:06Speaker 4: indicated it was the most important to exhibit the photograph
- 36:08Speaker 4: of the person entering the Soviet establishments in Mexico City
- 36:12Speaker 4: to the subject's wife to see her reaction. Okay, now
- 36:18Speaker 4: we all know they didn't have any photos of Oswald
- 36:21Speaker 4: going to or from any of these embassies except the
- 36:25Speaker 4: quote unidentified man picture. Yeah, clearly not Oswald.
- 36:31Speaker 1: If they had them, we would have seen them. Yeah,
- 36:36Speaker 1: that's my belief.
- 36:38Speaker 4: Yeah. So on the twenty sixth November, Lee Harvey Oswald
- 36:46Speaker 4: arrives in Nuevo Laredo, tim will Leipas, Mexico, between thirteen
- 36:51Speaker 4: thirty and fourteen hundred, that is military time for one
- 36:59Speaker 4: two o'clock from the wave ooiler radio. He traveled to
- 37:03Speaker 4: Mexico City aboard the bus number number five one six
- 37:06Speaker 4: off the Fletcher Rohi bus line, which left the wave
- 37:10Speaker 4: Oolreedo at fourteen fifteen. That would be two fifteen pm.
- 37:15Speaker 4: According to the Warrant Commission Report, page seven thirty three
- 37:19Speaker 4: commissioned Exhibit twenty four sixty three, page ten. According to
- 37:23Speaker 4: the records of the Fletcher Roha bus Line, bus number
- 37:26Speaker 4: five one six arrived at the Fletcher Rohigh Bus Terminal
- 37:30Speaker 4: Heroes Farro Carrileros forty five, Mexico City at one thousand.
- 37:39Speaker 4: That's ten hundred, right, yeah, ten am. On September twenty seventh,
- 37:47Speaker 4: nineteen and sixty three. Within an hour of his arrival
- 37:52Speaker 4: in Mexico City, Joe Oswald registered at the Hotel del
- 37:57Speaker 4: Commercio on Cali Bnard Bernardino Sachhagen nineteen say that twelve
- 38:06Speaker 4: times fast, located four blocks from the bus terminal. Oswald
- 38:12Speaker 4: remained in Mexico City until the early morning of October second,
- 38:16Speaker 4: nineteen and sixty three. Apparently, on both September thirtieth and
- 38:24Speaker 4: October first, Oswald went to the Agentsia de Viejas Transports
- 38:30Speaker 4: Chihuahuans Paseo delivered form of fifty two to arrange for
- 38:36Speaker 4: travel accommodations from Mexico City back to Dallas. According to
- 38:44Speaker 4: the records of the Agencia da Villas, Reservation and Purchase
- 38:48Speaker 4: Order number one four sixty one eight was issued to
- 38:51Speaker 4: Transport's Del North de Bus line in the name of
- 38:54Speaker 4: mister H. O. Lee. That would be Harvey Oswald Lee.
- 39:00Speaker 4: So he's using an alias for travel from Mexico City
- 39:03Speaker 4: to Laredo, Texas. At the bottom of this printed order,
- 39:08Speaker 4: the date was indicated to be thirty September nineteen sixty three.
- 39:13Speaker 4: The records revealed further than a Greyhound International Exchange Order
- 39:16Speaker 4: number four three five nine nine for presentation to the
- 39:20Speaker 4: Greyhound agent in Laredo, had been issued to a mister H. O. Lee. Okay,
- 39:25Speaker 4: mister Harvey Oswald Lee again with the alias. On October first,
- 39:30Speaker 4: nineteen sixty three, for travel from Laredo, Texas to Dallas, Texas.
- 39:37Speaker 4: Ho Lee paid a total of two hundred and fifty
- 39:40Speaker 4: three zero point seventy five pesos. At the time, that
- 39:45Speaker 4: would have been about twenty dollars and thirty cents in cash.
- 39:52Speaker 4: On October the first, Oswald paid his hotel bill through
- 39:54Speaker 4: the night. The next morning, Oswald took a taxi to
- 39:58Speaker 4: transport this down North day bust terminal to board bus
- 40:01Speaker 4: three three two, scheduled to leave at eight thirty am
- 40:05Speaker 4: for Nuevo Laredo. At about one thirty five on October third,
- 40:10Speaker 4: I was well crossed the International Bridge from Nuevo Laredo
- 40:13Speaker 4: into Texas. He traveled from Laredo to Dallas on Greyhound
- 40:18Speaker 4: Bus number one two six five, leaving Laredo at three
- 40:25Speaker 4: in the morning and arriving in Dallas at about two
- 40:30Speaker 4: twenty the same day two twenty pm. Until October first,
- 40:36Speaker 4: sixty three, the Mexico City station knew nothing of the
- 40:40Speaker 4: presence in Mexico City of le Harvey Oswald. Okay, we'll
- 40:43Speaker 4: skip that and save that for another day, Okay, because
- 40:48Speaker 4: that's not about buses. That's about all the other fukery
- 40:52Speaker 4: going on down in Mexico City, which I didn't realize
- 40:57Speaker 4: that there was so much, Joe, there's so much, I mean,
- 41:02Speaker 4: there is literally so much. Yeah. Again, it's one of
- 41:09Speaker 4: these parts of the assassination that makes my brain bleed
- 41:12Speaker 4: and my eyes glaze over, like the medical evidence, like
- 41:16Speaker 4: Mexico City, and not that it's not because I don't care,
- 41:21Speaker 4: it's because you know you're in for the long haul.
- 41:26Speaker 4: Like there's just no dipping your toe in the water
- 41:28Speaker 4: when it comes to Mexico City. If you want to
- 41:31Speaker 4: understand everything about Mexico City, you can't half ass.
- 41:37Speaker 1: No, you got to you gotta go deep.
- 41:39Speaker 4: You got to go deep, homeboy.
- 41:41Speaker 1: And you have to understand what games were being played
- 41:47Speaker 1: in Mexico City with spy games, and it's.
- 41:52Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure, Yeah, I mean you have things, you know,
- 41:56Speaker 4: like Oswald supposedly on tape with Sylvia Duran and this
- 42:06Speaker 4: allegedly happened on a Saturday when they weren't open, and
- 42:09Speaker 4: then when they analyzed the tapes that they realized that
- 42:11Speaker 4: it's not Oswald's voice and it's not even Sylvia Duran's
- 42:14Speaker 4: voice on the tape, So what in the hell is
- 42:17Speaker 4: going on? There's all kinds of passport photo fuker, there's
- 42:22Speaker 4: all kinds of fake wire taps, fake pictures, and it's
- 42:29Speaker 4: just it's crazy. And you know, was he on the
- 42:33Speaker 4: bus that went there? You know, it's like it's a lot,
- 42:38Speaker 4: it's a lot. We almost need like an expert, yeah.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Or was he on the bus that came back? And
- 42:46Speaker 1: you know, obviously the Warrant Commission would want if he
- 42:50Speaker 1: did get a ride there or back or both would
- 42:53Speaker 1: want to hide that because that would go towards him
- 42:58Speaker 1: having fellow conspirators not being lowed up.
- 43:03Speaker 4: Right. So, going back a little bit back to the
- 43:08Speaker 4: Warrant Commission, when they looked into all this, right, of course,
- 43:13Speaker 4: the junior lawyers, this was coming memorandum from March twenty fifth,
- 43:19Speaker 4: nineteen sixty four to Howard Willins from David Slawson subject
- 43:24Speaker 4: to Oswald's trip to Mexico, outlining and recommendations for further inquiries.
- 43:30Speaker 4: So they first looked at his issuance of a passport. Now,
- 43:32Speaker 4: I did notice that Paula said that he didn't need
- 43:36Speaker 4: a passport to visit Mexico in nineteen sixty three, and
- 43:41Speaker 4: that may be accurate, I don't.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Know, but he would have needed one to go to Cuba,
- 43:47Speaker 1: if that's right. So, and I do believe and I
- 43:52Speaker 1: should know this, that he did reapply for his passport
- 43:56Speaker 1: and get it sometime in sixty three, maybe sixty two,
- 44:03Speaker 1: But it was definitely an issue that he was trying
- 44:06Speaker 1: to get.
- 44:07Speaker 4: Yeah, we got more on that right here, Joe beautiful. So,
- 44:11Speaker 4: according to Slawson, fact a citizen of the United States
- 44:16Speaker 4: need not have a passport in order to travel in
- 44:19Speaker 4: Mexico for short periods of time. So, PAULI, you were correct. Nevertheless,
- 44:28Speaker 4: Oswald applied for a passport at the Passport office in
- 44:31Speaker 4: New Orleans on June twenty fourth, nineteen sixty three. This
- 44:38Speaker 4: would be while he's still working at Riley Coffee Company.
- 44:47Speaker 4: His application states that he intended intended to stay abroad
- 44:51Speaker 4: for from three months to a year and to visit England, France, Germany, Holland, USSR, Finland,
- 45:05Speaker 4: Italy and Poland. Passport number nine two five two six
- 45:11Speaker 4: was issued on June twenty fifth, nineteen sixty three. It
- 45:15Speaker 4: was marked for travel to all countries except Albania and Cuba,
- 45:21Speaker 4: and those portions of China, Korea and Vietnam which are
- 45:24Speaker 4: under communist control. These limitations were standard and their occurrence
- 45:29Speaker 4: on Oswald's passport therefore carries no special significance. Sometime during
- 45:38Speaker 4: the trip, Oswald told the McFarlands, I believe that's the
- 45:42Speaker 4: British couple right. His purpose in going to Mexico was
- 45:46Speaker 4: to evade the American travel band on Cuba and to
- 45:50Speaker 4: get to Cuba where he could meet his hero, Fidel Castro.
- 45:56Speaker 4: Tickets from Nuevo Laredo to Mexico City, at least if
- 45:59Speaker 4: they are urches from Continental trailways in New Orleans. Were
- 46:03Speaker 4: ten dollars for a one way trip, and that's from
- 46:07Speaker 4: the border to Mexico City.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Right, Laredo the border, Yeah yeah, and.
- 46:13Speaker 4: The Wavoi Laredo was on the other side of the border, yeah, raided. Yes,
- 46:22Speaker 4: they did not find the cost of a round trip.
- 46:26Speaker 4: That's not known. Oswald arrived in Mexico City at about
- 46:30Speaker 4: ten am on September twenty seventh. The Fletcher Rohigh bus
- 46:33Speaker 4: upon which Oswald was riding, arrived in Mexico City order
- 46:37Speaker 4: about ten am on September twenty seventh. As previously stated,
- 46:41Speaker 4: our evidence is fairly firm that Oswald arrived at the
- 46:44Speaker 4: bus station with one suitcase and a small zipper bag.
- 46:51Speaker 4: So he arrived at the bus station Joe with his
- 46:54Speaker 4: suitcase and a small zipper bag. Yet somehow, some in
- 47:00Speaker 4: between there right and the hotel, he did not have
- 47:11Speaker 4: a suitcase, which is odd. Oswald was registered at the
- 47:16Speaker 4: hotel the commercial I'm not even gonna try to say
- 47:19Speaker 4: the road name again because fuck that. From September twenty
- 47:24Speaker 4: seventh through the night of October first, he registered as
- 47:27Speaker 4: Lee Comma Harvey Oswald, proceeding from the USA texas a
- 47:34Speaker 4: photographer and a US citizen. While in Mexico City, he
- 47:39Speaker 4: contacted both the Soviet and Cuban embassies, the former at
- 47:42Speaker 4: least twice, probably three times, in the latter at least twice,
- 47:47Speaker 4: and possibly three times as well, ostensibly to obtain permission
- 47:51Speaker 4: to travel to Cuba. We have no firm evidence that
- 47:54Speaker 4: his real purpose was any different than his ostensible purpose.
- 47:58Speaker 4: He had his passport with him and probably also carried
- 48:02Speaker 4: some FPCC press clippings and some letters from the Russian
- 48:06Speaker 4: Embassy in Washington as proof. You know that he is
- 48:11Speaker 4: a commy threw and through and needs to get to
- 48:14Speaker 4: keep on. Now, this Comma following Oswald's first name, and
- 48:25Speaker 4: the fact that he was posing as a photographer probably
- 48:28Speaker 4: derived from the fact that this comma somehow slipped into
- 48:31Speaker 4: his name when his tourist card was made out, and
- 48:34Speaker 4: the tourist card also listed him as a photographer by occupation.
- 48:40Speaker 4: Oswald paid his bill on October the first, The payment
- 48:44Speaker 4: including the night of October first. No one remembers when
- 48:48Speaker 4: he checked out, but presumably it was some time during
- 48:50Speaker 4: the morning or early afternoon of October second, so they're
- 49:00Speaker 4: saying that the comma after Lee is probably a mistake. Allegedly,
- 49:11Speaker 4: but whatever. Oswald is listened as having stayed in room
- 49:15Speaker 4: number eighteen at the Hotel de Commercio, Rooms eighteen through
- 49:23Speaker 4: twenty three occupy one floor. The hotel clerk, mister Garcia Luna,
- 49:29Speaker 4: examined the registry book for the period of Oswald's stay
- 49:32Speaker 4: and was able to identify three of the guests who
- 49:34Speaker 4: occupied rooms on the same floor during this period. He
- 49:37Speaker 4: said he was able to identify these three because they
- 49:39Speaker 4: frequently stopped at the hotel. Two of the three men
- 49:43Speaker 4: identified by the clerk cannot be found, and the third,
- 49:46Speaker 4: mister Alfonso Perez Pelego of Guadalajara, Alisco, Mexico, stated simply
- 49:52Speaker 4: that he frequently stops at the Hotel del Commercio when
- 49:56Speaker 4: he is in Mexico City, that he was there during
- 49:59Speaker 4: this period of September twenty sixth and twenty eight in
- 50:02Speaker 4: room nineteen, but they did not notice Oswald's presence at all.
- 50:09Speaker 4: Oswald's activities in Mexico City are not known with the
- 50:11Speaker 4: high agree of certainty. The address book found among those
- 50:15Speaker 4: effects after his arrest following the assassination. List would appear
- 50:18Speaker 4: to be the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of these
- 50:22Speaker 4: Soviet and Cuban embassies in Mexico City and a Cuban airline.
- 50:26Speaker 4: In addition, the name Sylvia Duran has written under the
- 50:28Speaker 4: Cuban embassy address along in parentheses hot as balls. I'm joking.
- 50:43Speaker 4: So there is that, all right. And a check of
- 50:59Speaker 4: all the records of the Mexican National Telegraph Company and
- 51:02Speaker 4: of all the leading banks enter around Mexico City has
- 51:06Speaker 4: failed to show any money sent or received by Oswald
- 51:09Speaker 4: under his real name or known aliens as while he
- 51:12Speaker 4: was in Mexico, So that's interesting. So whatever money he
- 51:18Speaker 4: had he took with him. And oh, by the way,
- 51:23Speaker 4: the check that he went to get his unemployment check
- 51:27Speaker 4: was for a whopping thirty three dollars. Yeah, so apparently
- 51:34Speaker 4: thirty three dollars funded this trip to Mexico where he
- 51:39Speaker 4: also stated that he was going he wanted to see
- 51:44Speaker 4: a bullfight, a Jilight game, and he bought Marina a
- 51:49Speaker 4: silver bracelet and it had it engraved with her name
- 51:52Speaker 4: on it, and apparently also bought an astray for her
- 51:55Speaker 4: as well.
- 51:58Speaker 1: That's interesting because didn't he eat when she smoked and
- 52:01Speaker 1: like put a cigarette butt out on him on her?
- 52:05Speaker 1: That doesn't match up. But I mean that's the first
- 52:07Speaker 1: time I've heard that. But when you say, like thirty
- 52:10Speaker 1: three dollars, you're thinking, like, neuelov Torlado.
- 52:15Speaker 4: To just Nuevo Laredo to Mexico City is ten bucks one.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Way, right, so like on yeah, So like I mean you.
- 52:24Speaker 4: Had to get from New Orleans to Houston somehow, right,
- 52:28Speaker 4: And that's no. I mean that's what a six Yeah, Well.
- 52:34Speaker 1: I did this while you were talking, Robin. So up
- 52:39Speaker 1: here is Houston Laredo right here by the border, yeah,
- 52:48Speaker 1: and then the Monterey Nouveau Leone area and then that's
- 52:53Speaker 1: a long haul down to Mexico City, a nineteen hour
- 52:59Speaker 1: trip and that's today. So I mean give her take whatever.
- 53:04Speaker 4: Yeah, shitty bus on shitty Mexican roads in nineteen sixty three.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Yeah, so I mean it's it's about a day. I
- 53:11Speaker 1: would say, what stops.
- 53:12Speaker 4: And well, do me this real quick plug in New
- 53:15Speaker 4: Orleans to Houston. See see how much of a trip
- 53:18Speaker 4: that is?
- 53:20Speaker 1: If I could do this.
- 53:27Speaker 4: Boom Scott said the return trip was twenty bucks, right,
- 53:31Speaker 4: there's thirty bucks.
- 53:34Speaker 1: That's this well check pretty much ITAs twenty four hours,
- 53:39Speaker 1: So it went from nineteen to twenty four so you're adding.
- 53:42Speaker 4: Five just just New Orleans to Houston. Nothing else.
- 53:46Speaker 1: Oh okay, thanks Google Maps.
- 53:54Speaker 4: There's the Gulf of America, folks.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Hours it says three hundred and fifty miles today.
- 54:06Speaker 4: That road might not have existed back then, who knows.
- 54:09Speaker 4: But still five six hours.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Well it's a big interstate. It might have but yeah,
- 54:15Speaker 1: five five six hours?
- 54:16Speaker 4: Yea? And how far is it from New Orleans to Dallas,
- 54:25Speaker 4: Like if you went to Odio's first Okay.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Well it would be a little detour north, actually big
- 54:32Speaker 1: detour north right through.
- 54:36Speaker 4: Guess where report?
- 54:39Speaker 1: Yeah, sir, you guessed it. Uh seven hours, that's our
- 54:44Speaker 1: car ride. It's at least a four hour detour north
- 54:53Speaker 1: and at least a three four hour detour south.
- 54:57Speaker 4: So and if it was a bus ride, yeah, well
- 55:03Speaker 4: if you I mean, you got to figure it's stopped
- 55:07Speaker 4: in multiple places.
- 55:08Speaker 1: And well, I don't think it would have been a
- 55:10Speaker 1: bus ride if he was with Leopoldo and.
- 55:13Speaker 4: And right, I'm saying, so if you want trade to Houston,
- 55:16Speaker 4: it would have been like five hours but they probably
- 55:19Speaker 4: have been stopping in various places along the way because
- 55:21Speaker 4: the bus stops.
- 55:22Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, the breaks, Yeah, smoke breaks at that time,
- 55:26Speaker 1: for sure. Uhh yeah, for sure. It's a big detour.
- 55:34Speaker 4: It was a big Ruth didn't take him, but Ruth
- 55:37Speaker 4: took Marina.
- 55:38Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, before. Yeah, they were back before to see
- 55:46Speaker 1: some doctors, pregnancy doctors and Dallas, I believe.
- 55:52Speaker 4: Yeah, Ruth was concerned, Ruth's gloved fingers.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Ruth was concerned, that's for sure.
- 56:05Speaker 4: So let's see. Yeah, that's we're getting into the weeds
- 56:13Speaker 4: with the consulate visits and the embassy visits, and we
- 56:17Speaker 4: can save that for another day. We have to get
- 56:20Speaker 4: like a I mean, the last time I had somebody
- 56:22Speaker 4: on here to talk about Mexico City like as an expert,
- 56:26Speaker 4: I think it was Carmine, like four or five years ago.
- 56:33Speaker 1: I think I remember that.
- 56:37Speaker 4: Yeah, So that's basically buses from New Orleans to wherever allegedly,
- 56:48Speaker 4: and from Houston to Nuevo Laredo to Mexico City. And
- 56:54Speaker 4: I'll let Joe handle the second part where we're coming
- 56:57Speaker 4: back from Mexico City and then his Dallas bus adventures.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Yep. Uh so I only have a little bit on
- 57:06Speaker 1: the way back, because that's also a huge rabbit hole.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Uh but I have a bunch on Dallas that I'll
- 57:13Speaker 1: make it into. But Rob, if you can give me
- 57:15Speaker 1: thirty seconds and just talk to the chat, I'll be
- 57:19Speaker 1: right back.
- 57:21Speaker 4: Okay, I will start the Jeopardy timer. Do do Do
- 57:26Speaker 4: Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do
- 57:29Speaker 4: Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do
- 57:32Speaker 4: Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do do
- 57:38Speaker 4: do do do. All right, let's see what we got here.
- 57:45Speaker 4: Paula traces it took several hours, seven plus hours, a
- 57:50Speaker 4: gift from New Orleans to s report just the report
- 57:53Speaker 4: back then. Paula says there was no interstate NOLA and
- 58:00Speaker 4: shreport in sixty three or sixty hours of potholes and
- 58:03Speaker 4: state highway. So yeah, it sounds like that was a
- 58:04Speaker 4: hell of a ride back then. And you gotta also figure, man,
- 58:08Speaker 4: these cars back then, I don't know how well equipped
- 58:12Speaker 4: they were for long distance driving, you know what I'm saying,
- 58:15Speaker 4: Like it seems like these older cars have a lot
- 58:17Speaker 4: of problems with overheating and battery problems, tire problems. Yeah,
- 58:29Speaker 4: I don't know. Uh, no gloves for Roos he said
- 58:39Speaker 4: it was a Quaker thing. You wouldn't understand, that's right,
- 58:45Speaker 4: Oh lordy, oh lord. Joe's back from getting a snack.
- 58:58Speaker 1: I did take a bite of a breef know on
- 59:00Speaker 1: my way back from the bathroom. Yes, I know you
- 59:04Speaker 1: respect that.
- 59:06Speaker 4: Tiny's here high tiny.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Better late than never, for sure. Yes, so Rob, the
- 59:19Speaker 1: way back from Mexico City is just as murky as
- 59:25Speaker 1: as the trip there. And there there are a bunch
- 59:31Speaker 1: of Warren Commission exhibits talking about this. I'm just gonna
- 59:36Speaker 1: share one of them real quickly. And this is from
- 59:42Speaker 1: Mexico City on the bottom to Monterey, which is along
- 59:47Speaker 1: the same route we talked about, and then Monterey to Laredo, Texas.
- 59:55Speaker 1: And I'm just gonna read this something left Exhibit D.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: He is a three page manifest of transport this Front
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Bus Comfort Company covering trip two for bus number three
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: forty departing from Mexico City for Laredo, Texas on October two,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: nineteen sixty three. The results of the FBI laboratory examination
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: of this manifest were reflected on page fifty two of
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: the Report of Gamberling Data, January seventh, sixty four. With
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: respect the above described manifest. It should be noted that
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: the seats, they go into the seats.
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: We don't need to go over that.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Although he had they're talking about someone in the bust.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Although he had no independent recollection concerning this particular trip,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: he presumed he had made the reservations for two friends
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: who subsequently purchased their tickets and utilized the seats. It
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: should also be noted that C four is listener to
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: the name of os WLD, so not Oswald, OSWLD, almost
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: like an abbreviation. Yeah, with a distinction of load, which
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: I think, I mean Laredo, right, it's also an abbreviation.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: And that no ticket number is listed shocker. Extensive investigation
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: at the offices of the Transport Transport this Frontra bus
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: company in Monterey on December tenth, sixty three resulted in
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: the location they are of all tickets whose numbers are
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: listed on the bus passenger list. Was pointing out then
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: that the ticket numbers prefixed. I mean, and there's this
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: whole thing of like ticket numbers and bus times and all.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: This is crazy drama. But what is really interesting is
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: a state department membo. I believe it's I and s
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: rob oh Hold on and this is dated November twenty third,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: nineteen sixty three. And as you know, Rob, this was
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: probably before they got their Mexico City ducks.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: In a row. Yeah, we're very early in the narrative
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: figured out this out.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yep. In view of delay in checking central files
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Mexico City, this morning, we asked all of US a
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: US consul lar border posts to check Mexican immigration records
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: for possible entry or exit of Lee Harvey Oswalt and
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: is known aliases Lee H Oswalt, Lee Harvey H. Lee
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: this evening, that would be Saturday night, November twenty third,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Console and in Nuevo Laredo telephone information that immigration records
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: in Nuevo Laredo show entry into Mexico of Lee Henry Oswalt,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: which Rob, I could be wrong, but I think that
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: was one of the uh.
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: Like I was intelligence screw up Yeah, well.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Yeah, well screw up in quotations, right, was it meant
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: to be a type of what's that thing called card? Yes? Yes,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: where yeah, where you could tell who was requesting the
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: information and who has it, right, the whole mullown thing.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: On September twenty sixth sixty three, Aged twenty three occupation photographer.
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: We've heard this before, Rob, Yes, I just said it
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: a little bit ago.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I missed that. I'm sorry. Residence, New Orleans, destination
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: in Mexico City, tourist car number two four zero five.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Record does not show whether he entered by automobile. I'm
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: gonna repeat that. Record does not show whether he entered
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: by automobibile record, same Office of Immigration shows departure of
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: same individual on October third, nineteen sixty three by automobile.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: Yeah. Read that part again.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Record, same office.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: That would be the.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Nuevo Laredo immigration records, I believe, right on the border.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: At the border, yeah, shows departure of same individual, Lee
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Henry Oswald on October third, sixty three by automobile.
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: Lee Henry Oswald leaving by automobile.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Back into the left by automobile.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: And Harvey Oswald Lee leaving by bus.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: We are instructing council and cooperation with FBI Agent Laredo
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: to obtain copies of all immigration records concerning this entry
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: and exit. We are, of course continuing efforts to obtain
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: information and duplicate copies from Mexico City and blah blah,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah blah. So they really have no
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: idea we got their back, and if they did, they
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: were covering it up because they wanted to promote the
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: loan nut theory. You can't have conspirator or someone driving you.
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: Yeah, because the Warrant Commission tasked the FBI to figure
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: all this stuff out right, to do the Mexico City investigation,
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: or at least the to and fro part of it.
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: And when you have things that don't line up like
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: this all the time, that.
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: Can be a clear indication of a classic fuckery. Yeah,
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: it doesn't get more fugery than Mexico City, that is
- 1:06:27Speaker 7: for sure.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Well, maybe I spoke too soon because we haven't gotten
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: to his Dallas bus adventures yet, and that is a
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: whole other level of sugary there, sir.
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, and.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: I guess we'll get into that now. And there's a
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: bunch more exhibits on like the passenger manifest lists on
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: his bus home and things like that, but it would
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: have been redundant, so I don't think we need to
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: go over that.
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: Yeah. All I know is that from one of those
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: passenger manifest lists, Lee Harvey aswell was not on it.
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: M I can't remember it was going to or coming from,
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: but if it was coming from, it would line up
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: with the fact that he left by car, because then
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: he wouldn't have been on the bus. Yeah, but if
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: he left by car, that would mean he probably went
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: by car. Yeah, I'm sure just didn't meet some nice
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: Mexican somewhere in Mexico's gonna give him a ride back
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: to Dallas, you know what I mean?
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Yeah, And once it was like the people that were
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: kind of running and playing that wanted to run him
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: through those Mexico City operations, right, And I think, uh,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: I think that's very likely situation. Not it's a possible situation.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: I wist stay very likely.
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: But so.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: We now get to Dallas and Rob, I know we
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: or you talked about our members only two or three
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: weeks ago. We went on on a little tangent about
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: this of how did Lee Harvey Oswald get to work
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: every day? Because the official narrative we were told was
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Buell only drove him on nights he was in irving right,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: allegedly allegedly, but there is no there's no evidence of
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: any bus rides to work from his house in Beckley
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: or like we'll see from a couple other places that
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: he stayed and you can't make this up. One of
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: the ladies who was on the bus, the Cecil mcwater
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: mcwater's bus that he got on and then got off
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: because it was going too slow and then got in
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: the cab. We all know that story. The star witness
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: on the bus was his former landlady, Missus Bledsoe m Yeah,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: who did not want to rent.
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: He had gotten a one week. He had rented a
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: room for her for one week, but she did not
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: want to rent him another week because she heard him
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: speaking a foreign language on the.
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: Spe phone and he was rude. No, he used to
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: drink out of the cart and of milk and refrigerator.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I mean, I I can see how people will think
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Lee is rude, but he kind of just kept to himself.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: But I think it was the language that really according
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: to her.
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: Uh, that stay is memorialized in a fake police report,
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: which one there was a fake police report out there.
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: It's one of those too good to be true documents
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: right where allegedly h Missus Bloodstoe had called the police
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: to report a fight between Lee, Harvey Oswald and Jack
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: Ruby at her house where they got into a fight
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: and like broke furniture and ship. But it was turned
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: out to be a clever, very clever, falsified document.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Huh. I did not come across that, But maybe that's.
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: For the better. Maybe maybe I'll see if I can
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: find it real quick while.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: You sure, Yeah, I'm gonna start with mister Cecil McWaters,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: the bus driver here, who was driving the Marsalis bus
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: west on Elm Street, who allegedly picked up Lee Harvey
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Oswaldt and then two blocks later, Lee Harvey Oswalt got
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: impatient allegedly and wanted to get off the bus, asked
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: for a transfer ticket, which was later found in his
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: possessions by the DPD allegedly, and then got in a
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: cab and then went back to Beckley, of course, going
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: a few blocks past the boarding house. Blah blah blah.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: But we're gonna stick to the bus right here. So
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Cecil McWaters was the bus driver. And as we always do, Rob,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: we start with the same day testimony or AFFI David,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: and this is from the DPD archives. He was brought
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: in at about six six thirty ish and gave this
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: statement and then later picked out Lee Harvey Oswalt in
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: a lineup. But we will get to that a second,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I promise mcwatters. States Today, November twenty second, nineteen sixty three,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: about twelve forty pm, I was driving Marcelli's bus, number
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: twelve thirteen. I picked up a man on the lower
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: end of Elm and a lower end of town. On
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Elm around Houston, I went out on Marsalis and picked
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: up a woman. I asked her if she knew the
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: president had been shot, and she thought I was kidding.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I told her if she did not believe me, to
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: ask the man behind her that he had told me
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: the president was shot in the temple. This man was
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: grinning and never did say anything. The woman said that
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: if it was not a grinning matter, right, it's not funny.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: I don't remember where I let this man off. This
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: man looks like the number two man I saw in
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: the lineup tonight. And the transfer that was found in
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Oswalt's wallet number zero zero, four four five to nine
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: is the transfer from the bus with my punch mark,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: so rob everyone had. All the bus drivers had like
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: a different unique punch mark, so they think punched a
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: ticket and you could tell like it was from this route.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: So when he transferred whatever, so the punch mark was
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: confirmed to be waters punch mark. That as everything in
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: this case, it is not that simple because oh no, no,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: So I you know, one of the good things rob
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: to do and you and I obviously I have learned
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: this is to not just search for documents in one place, right,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Like Mary Ferrell is an amazing research my number one
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: go to, but I like to go to the DPD
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: archives and see what they have. Is as you know,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: we found a very interesting James Martin document that was
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: handwritten on the DPD archives, very interesting description. But if
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: you look at that document on Mary Ferrell is not
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: on there, right, So I went to the DPD archives
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: today to find Cecil mcwater's handwritten affidated not the typed one. Okay, yeah,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: and look at this in the middle. I don't remember
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: where I let this man off. That's where the type
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: thing ends. But crossed out here is. But I believe
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: I let him off at Marsillus. Crossed out Isn't that beautiful?
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: I mean, to us, nerves is beautiful.
- 1:15:29Speaker 4: But so well, explain why because earlier in his testimony
- 1:15:37Speaker 4: he claims he picked the man up first, yes, and
- 1:15:41Speaker 4: then picked up Bloodsoe at Marcellis. So if you let
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: the man off at Marsalis, then there would have been
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: no interaction between Bledsoe and Oswald. Yeah.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: But allegedly Oswald caught off after two blocks. And the
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: interesting thing is he is on Elm Street right, So
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: he walks seven blocks to the bus and gets on
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: and allegedly bangs on the door of the bus that's on.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: The bus is heading back towards the school booked busy.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: It gets stuck in traffic and he gets off two
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: blocks later and then goes to the Greyhound station catches
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: the cab. You know, we all know this. And when
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: you think about I mean, I can imagine Oswald was
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: panicking at that time and he didn't have an escape
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: plan because he didn't know what's going down, all right,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: So that that makes sense to me. But the whole
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: you know, letting the old lady go and get the
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: first cab before him. But I'm just going to go
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: a little long here. The DPD officer C. N. Doherty,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: This is the officer's report. We met mister mcwarterers and
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: carried him to the detail room at six thirty pm
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: McWaters made identification of Oswalt as number two man in
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: the four man lineup. McWaters gave me an affy David
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: in the homicide office and identified the transfer that he
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: had given Oswalt positively. So he's confirming that what they
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: found in Oswalt's wallet was from his kind of you know,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: clickery thing. But a friend of the show, Gil Jesus
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: has done a lot of work on this research on
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: this heir. And these are the three gentlemen that we're
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: in the lineup with Oswalt that McWaters was picking out
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: from him.
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: And he actually made what Oswald look like. Right. He's
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: wearing a reddy ass white T shirt, his faces all
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: bruised up. Yep, yeah, there you go. Yeah, No, he
- 1:18:12Speaker 4: made this.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: And this is from a Gildashjesus dot com. This might
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: be lineup, not Oswald's escape, but it's all linked.
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: You have W. E.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: Perry, thirty four years old, wearing a brown sports jacket,
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: Richard L. Clark blonde hair, wearing a red vest and
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: these were both detectives, okay, yeah, and then you have
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: this guy who's like an orderly, like a clerk, Don Abeles,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: wearing a gray knit sweater. None of these three fillers
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: matched the description of any of the witnesses given of
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: the typical bubble. In addition, Oswald was handcuffed to Perry
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: and Clark, so I guess all three were handcuffed, which
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: is interesting, making it obvious he was the suspect. Yeah,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: and this is the picture of the two detectives and
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: the orderly so yeah, I mean, you know, the lineups
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: is a whole different rabbit hole as well, right, and
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Gill's done some great work on that, but it was
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: obviously kind of staged.
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: Right, So.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: Let's go to mcwaterer's warr commission testimony. He got on
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: around Griffin Street, seven blocks away from the TSBD. I'm
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: not going to read through this also from gills site.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: On the left is what a real transfer ticket would
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: look like, right with the time, I guess here on
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: the left side on the bottom and on the right
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: is the commission exhibit that does not have the the times.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: But he also notes how the time of one o'clock
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: at the bottom is not punched, which it would have
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: been because this was at like twelve forty right twelve
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: fifty while he was on the bus. So just some
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: discrepancy there. This is Commission Exhibit three seventy five. This
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: is mcwater's bus.
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: Okay, this is.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: The view of mcwater's butts from the inside, from the front.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: And Oswalt allegedly was right here behind this teenager, which
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: we're going to talk about. This is, of course the
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: look at this shitty fucking exhibit in the War Commission.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: This is the bus by the way. M hm, Well,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: are they trying to like make sure that you can't
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: lean anything from it?
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: Crappy copy?
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I think probably intentional, h a little
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: better one. So the front door on the front right side,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: driver on the front left side. This is the lady
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: going to the train station that got off once you
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: realized she was not going to make it with the traffic. Oh,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: it's not Oswalt. It's a teenager, Milton Jones, and m
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: in the seat behind him is allegedly Oswalt, who sat
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: down and got off at the same time the lady
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: who went to the train station did two blocks after
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: he got on, and again Oswalt was kind of like
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: here on the left if you can see my cursor. Yeah, okay,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: so again Oswald here from Daley Plaza and the TSBD
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: and again this is a current Google Google Maps version.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: But TSBD one two, three, four, five, six seven, about
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: seven ish, there's like half blocks in there. So he
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: walks this way, gets on a bus, goes two blocks
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: this way, and then gets off. The bus goes south
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: to the Greyhound bus station where he gets the cap
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: allegedly right, but it makes no sense really, And this
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: is the mar saleless bus. Behind this bus, literally right
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: behind was the Beckley bus that would have dropped him
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: off right in front of his rooming house, where Arlene
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Roberts would later say after he got his jacket and
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: allegedly is gone. He didn't. She didn't say that, but
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: you know other people said he got his gun. She
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: saw him standing at the bus stop. So why would
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: you take the Marsalis bus and not the Beckley one?
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: Right, I do not know.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: The Marsalis bus would be seven blocks away from his
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: rooming house, so I'm not sure. But we go to
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: missus Mary Bledsoe Oswald's former landlady for a week. And
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: this is also this is a November twenty third ALFI
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: David the day after Saturday.
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: Maybe he forgot he wasn't staying at Marcellus anymore.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: I never know. Last Friday in Rebor twenty second, I
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: went downtown. Maybe it was a little after I went
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: downtown to see the President. I stro on Main Street,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: just across the street from Tea Chase, until the parade
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: passed by. Then I walked over to Elm and caught
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: a bus to go home. The bus traveled to West
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: and Elm Street to about Murphy Street and made a stop.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: And that is when I saw Lee Oswalt get on
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: the bus. The traffic was heavy and it took quite
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: some time to travel two or three blocks. During that time,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: someone made the statement that the president had been shot.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: And while the bus was stopped due to the heavy traffic,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: Oswald got off the bus and I didn't see him again.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: I know this man was Lee Oswalt because he lived
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: in my home November or October seventh, sixty three to
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: October fourteenth, nineteen sixty three.
- 1:25:08Speaker 4: Interesting, this would be a good time, Joe to introduce
- 1:25:14Speaker 4: the fake police report from Mary Bledsoe. I found it.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Okay, great, yeah, sure.
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: Let's get that off the screen. Let's take a look
- 1:25:26Speaker 4: at it. Okay, okay, here we go. Now for those
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: like me who can't see. I'll read it to you.
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: But this is it. It looks like a legitimate It
- 1:25:45Speaker 4: looks like a legitimate police report, right yeah.
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: I mean it's not in the format that DPD documents
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: are usually in, but.
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: I'm trying to blow it up so I can read it.
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: Oh that's a little too much. Okay, I mean it
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: kind of looks legit. It's a general offense report now
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: right under where it's his general offense report.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: Yep.
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: Okay, I'm gonna give you a cipher to uh, to solve, Joe.
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: Since you're good with numbers, write these numbers down twenty one,
- 1:26:44Speaker 4: eighteen one, six, nine, fourteen and eleven, and just do
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: a simple alphabet cipher, you know, like the twenty first
- 1:27:10Speaker 4: letter of the alphabet will be twenty one. Write that note,
- 1:27:12Speaker 4: write that letter down, and so forth and so on. Okay, okay,
- 1:27:17Speaker 4: hold on and I'll come back to you while you
- 1:27:19Speaker 4: do that. Okay, okay. So this is a general offense report.
- 1:27:25Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: The complainant, Mary E. Bledsoe. The offense has reported disturbing
- 1:27:34Speaker 4: the peace at six twenty one North Marcella Street. Date
- 1:27:38Speaker 4: of offense ten eleven sixty three on Thursday, So This
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: would have been while Oswald was staying there from the
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: seventh to the fourteenth, So this allegedly curd at eleven
- 1:27:48Speaker 4: thirty pm on October eleventh. The responding officer was J. C. White. Okay,
- 1:28:05Speaker 4: damage to bed chairs and TV set and here's the
- 1:28:11Speaker 4: details of the offense. Missus Bloodsoe, owner of a rooming house,
- 1:28:16Speaker 4: reported a scuffle going on in one of her rooms
- 1:28:19Speaker 4: once she just rented earlier in the week to mister O. H. Lee.
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: After the arrest of the suspects below, mister Missus Bloodsoe
- 1:28:26Speaker 4: identified one of them as her rumor, mister Lee. His
- 1:28:30Speaker 4: name was actually Alex Hedell. When confronted with his identification
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: cards and mailing and mail addressed to him, Missus Blodsoe
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: said she was not sure if he was a rumor
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: or not. When brought into Downtown headquarters, the complainant again
- 1:28:46Speaker 4: changed her story concerning how the fight began, and so
- 1:28:49Speaker 4: all suspects were released pending for their investigation. Now hang on,
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: let me let me zuome me in on that. Okay.
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: Suspects name address J. A. Rubinstein, thirteen oh three and
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: a half Commerce Street, Alex Hidell, six Pot twenty one
- 1:29:23Speaker 4: North Marcellus witness H. H. Grant at forty seven fourteen
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: seventeen Garrett and other witness missus Mary Bledsoe address above. Okay,
- 1:29:41Speaker 4: so nothing missing, only broken goods is what this says above.
- 1:29:56Speaker 4: Suspects release pending investigation White Hargas disturbing the peace ten
- 1:30:04Speaker 4: twelve sixty three. Right, blah blah blah blah blah. Now, Joe, Yeah,
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: on this offense report they have listed Alec Heydell. Okay,
- 1:30:29Speaker 4: but I think they I think they got the birthdays
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: mixed up because they have all right, I'm sorry, that
- 1:30:35Speaker 4: must be the ages white male twenty two five eleven
- 1:30:42Speaker 4: one five, Jack Ruby, white male thirty nine five nine
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: one eighty nine, and whoever this AHH. Grant is white male,
- 1:30:54Speaker 4: thirty two five eleven point eighty and they all have
- 1:30:58Speaker 4: brown hair. And about fifty dollars in damage was done
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: to her chairs and television and uh bed. Now this
- 1:31:10Speaker 4: looks kind of legit and it's very damning. If you
- 1:31:15Speaker 4: could put Jack Rubin, Jack Ruby, and Lee Hoswall getting
- 1:31:18Speaker 4: in a fight at the Bloodsoe rooming house in October,
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: that's proof dead dead ask proof that they knew each other, right, it.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: Whoop be.
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: Now, like you said something about this offense report doesn't
- 1:31:34Speaker 4: quite look right right, It's like there's something off Now
- 1:31:41Speaker 4: are you have you going? Did you complete the exercise
- 1:31:44Speaker 4: that I gave you? And what does that spell?
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: It spells you are.
- 1:31:52Speaker 4: Yes? Uh a f yeah, I n K you are
- 1:32:06Speaker 4: a fink?
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: What's the think? What the audience know?
- 1:32:17Speaker 4: I think I think that's an old timey uh derogatory comment. Uh,
- 1:32:30Speaker 4: let's let's get the legitimate um hm hm A fink
- 1:32:37Speaker 4: derogatory informal an unpleasant or contemptible person. Right, but it's
- 1:32:45Speaker 4: typed right under where it says offense report.
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: Mm hmm, yeah, yeah, it's I think I mean Alec
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: haidel j A. Rubins sign on the same document as
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: it does seem a little too good to be true.
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: And I actually have another thing that I'm gonna get
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: into with Bledsoe's testimony that will give what name Lee
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: gave when he did rent the room from her. Yeah,
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: and this isn't the war import and I will just
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: let you know it is not an alias, which is
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: really interesting. I'm gonna continue here, so we're gonna continue
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: with Bledsoe's war commissioned testimony. Did you ever rent a
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: room in your home to Lee Harvey Oswald? Lee Oswald? Yes,
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: uh hm, I'm not as good as Europe. Can you
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: tell me the first time that you ever saw him?
- 1:33:58Speaker 4: What the date was?
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: Mis bled? So the first time I ever saw him
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: or heard of him, I was in the backyard doing
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: yard work. I came around the house and he was
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: standing on the porch and he said, do you have
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: a room for rent? I had a for rent sign out.
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: I said yes, and he said may I see it?
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: And I wanted yes. And then I was trying to
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: size him up in that room and in the house,
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: and I said are you married? And he said, yes,
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: I am married. I just want this for a short time.
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: My wife lives in Irving. And then we got inside
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: the house and he had a thing where this pictures
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: of his wife and baby, and he said he was
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: in the Marine Corps. And I tried to be nice
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: to him, and so he paid me seven dollars. Did
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: tell you what his name was?
- 1:34:48Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: Yes, he did?
- 1:34:49Speaker 4: What did he say?
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: He said his name was Oswalt and he put it
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: on this thing. My son took it and sold it.
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: This is hilarious. Wrong, you're gonna laugh at this. You
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: said he put it on this thing, mister Ball says,
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: Joseph Ball, Sorry, this right here? Do you want to
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: do a Southern accent?
- 1:35:17Speaker 4: You're what is this thing?
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: Mister Ball says in quotations calendar, Well, miss Dowitt, which
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: was Missus Bledsoe's lawyer, which I think is the same
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: way the typic guy Matt Dowitt.
- 1:35:37Speaker 4: Is spelled Matt. Doubt it's a great grandmother, is it? No,
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: I have no idea.
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: I mean I wouldn't be shocked he's from Dallas. I
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: mean I would not be honestly, bro, I would like
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: that's what we got to this case. I would not
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: be shocked. But anyways, this lady was Bledsoe's lawyer. Why
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: don't you pull up your chair and be comfortable while
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: you're doing this, the lawyer says to missus Bledsoe. Mister Ball, Now,
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: why now you have a calendar here, Blodsoe, Yes, this
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: is my calendar. That's the calendar for December sixty three.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: And I noticed it as dates and names? And is
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: that the way you keep your books in your rooms?
- 1:36:18Speaker 4: Yes?
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: But I don't now I did then because I had
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: just started. The first one I got was in September,
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: September sixty three. Mister Baul asked, uh huh. He put
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: his name on the calendar talking about Oswald's. Well got
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: it in September. He got it, my son sold it
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: for five dollars. And I don't even know that he
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: tore that out, mister ball. Now, let me see here
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: in this calendar it runs from January sixty three to
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: December sixty three, but October that must be off. But
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: October sixty three has been torn out.
- 1:37:01Speaker 4: Uh huh.
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: And he said his name was Lee. Oswalt was what
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: his name was, And I said, well, I can't think
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: of that name, Oswalt. I will call him Lee. So
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: interesting here that he's not giving an alias to missus
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: Bledsoe according to her right, no o h.
- 1:37:20Speaker 4: Lee, no, no all, yeah, no, oh, well.
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: Whatever, which of course contradicts that document, Robert, right, going
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: back to what you showed. I'm sorry, but yeah, he
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: says he was using the Lee alias, which he was
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: not according to missus Bloodsoe. Do you know what kind
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: of transportation he had? And I'm kind of jumping around here, No,
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: I guess I didn't pay attention to him. Did you
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: ever see him drive up in a car? No, always
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: took a bus, adventures and bussing.
- 1:38:05Speaker 4: How do you know that?
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: Well, I saw one time he stopped over there across
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: the street and get the bus. That is only time
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't watch what he did. Of course,
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: I had no idea he was the kind of man
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: he was. But he said, and I want my room
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: cleaned and clean sheets put on the bed. And I said, well,
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: I will after you move, Because you were going to move.
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: He said, why, I says, because I'm not going to
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: rent you the room no more, mister ball, not going
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: to what I feel like. She had a deep accent
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: here this BLOODSOE not going to rent you the room
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: no more? He said, give me back my money, two dollars,
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: which is like twenty bucks. Mister ball. Why did you
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: tell him you wouldn't rent in the room anymore? Because
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: I didn't like him? Why? I didn't like his attitude.
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: He was just kind of like this, you know, just
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: big shot, you know. And I didn't have anything to
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: say to him, but I didn't like him. There was
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: just something about him. I didn't like or want him,
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: just kind of the person I wanted, just didn't want
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: him around me. One of the interesting parts of her
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: later testimony is, like we mentioned earlier, her hearing him
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: speaking a foreign language, mister Paul, and the foreign language
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: that you heard Oswald using over the telephone on this
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: Wednesday afternoon, Do you know what language this was? No?
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: I didn't. Are you familiar with the Spanish language? No,
- 1:39:44Speaker 1: I am not, miss Bledsoe says, I'm not familiar with
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: any of them. All. You know it was not English? Yes,
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: but you can't tell what language it was, miss Bledsoe, No,
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: can you make a guess?
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: No, I have no idea.
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: I do because the girl is Spanish, but I don't
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: know whether he called her or not. Mister Paul, what
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: girl is Spanish? I mean his wife is Russian? Russian?
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: I don't know, missus Bloodsoe says. So she's very confused.
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: And one of the things that came out in testimony
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: is that she had a stroke and she could remember things.
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: And at the end of the testimony, mister Baul asks,
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: before you go, I notice you have been reading from
- 1:40:31Speaker 1: some notes before you, missus Bloodsoe, Well, because I forget
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: what I have to say, Mmmm, well, what when did
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: you make those notes? What day did I make them?
- 1:40:46Speaker 1: Question Mark? And then the lawyer miss, Now what comes in?
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: When mister Sorel's Secret Service and I were talking about
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: her going to Washington, he made the suggestion that she
- 1:40:59Speaker 1: put all the things down on paper because she might
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: forget something. And I said, Mary, you put everything on
- 1:41:08Speaker 1: a piece of paper so you can remember it and
- 1:41:11Speaker 1: you won't forget anything. You know what happened, And that's
- 1:41:16Speaker 1: when she started making notes. Mister Paul, you have made
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: the notes in the last week. Yes, lawyer says that
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: my suggestion and mister Sorels's suggestion, you didn't make any
- 1:41:32Speaker 1: notes during the week he was there.
- 1:41:34Speaker 4: No, they deny it.
- 1:41:36Speaker 1: So you have this lady who had a stroke, who
- 1:41:42Speaker 1: was Oswalt's former landlady, reading off of notes made by
- 1:41:47Speaker 1: her lawyer and for sorrels of the Secret Service.
- 1:41:56Speaker 4: Yeah, just a little bit fishy.
- 1:42:02Speaker 1: She's a she's a lot. And you know she was
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: like a kind of star witness rob like for the
- 1:42:11Speaker 1: whole bus an escape narrative, Like she was almost like
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: the Mark Them, Like she reminds me of Mark Them, bro,
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: but like maybe even worse honestly.
- 1:42:24Speaker 4: Yeah, because she said that le Oswald was wearing that
- 1:42:29Speaker 4: rusty brown shirt that he was arrested in, and then
- 1:42:33Speaker 4: she noticed it was torn in the elbow and all
- 1:42:35Speaker 4: that stuff, which nobody put.
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: Yeah, you didn't even know I had this coming. Yes, yeah,
- 1:42:45Speaker 1: she said the guy that she saw was disheveled, the
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: buttons were broke, there were holes in the elbow, almost
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: like she's describing a Crayford type of guy. Right, I'm
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: not saying that, but.
- 1:43:00Speaker 4: We know describing the shirt he was arrested in. But
- 1:43:05Speaker 4: he wasn't wearing that shirt at work, and all the
- 1:43:10Speaker 4: damage to the shirt apparently happened during his arrest at
- 1:43:13Speaker 4: the Texas Theater.
- 1:43:15Speaker 1: Right, So the left is Commissioned Exhibit at one fifty,
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: which is of that shirt allegedly, and the right is
- 1:43:27Speaker 1: and I got this from Gills website as well, the
- 1:43:30Speaker 1: Shaney Felt exhibit number twenty four. This is some FBI
- 1:43:35Speaker 1: agent wearing that shirt. And as you could tell, there
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: is no hole in the elbow area.
- 1:43:47Speaker 4: We might be in the other elbow.
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: It could be, it could be. But again this comes
- 1:43:56Speaker 1: from Gills website and so ms bledsoe is I guess
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: the best analogy would be like the Hella Markham of
- 1:44:07Speaker 1: the the bus drapa, like the most the worst witness.
- 1:44:14Speaker 4: Ever, trying to make them the best witness ever.
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: Yes, but it does not end there, because there was
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: one more witness and besides the besides Cecil Waters hold on,
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: and that was this teenager Milton Jones.
- 1:44:43Speaker 4: Hi, I'm Milton Jones. Yeah.
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: Oh, actually, you know what, before I get into that,
- 1:44:49Speaker 1: I had a little thing I want to say of
- 1:44:51Speaker 1: the war Commission with mister Ball and mister McWaters the
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: bus driver. Yes, uh, mister Ball, you didn't, as I
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: I understand it. When you were in the police lineup,
- 1:45:03Speaker 1: you told us that you weren't able to identify this
- 1:45:06Speaker 1: man the lineup as the man who got off that
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: you gave the transfer to the bus driver, says Quatters.
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: I told them, to the best of my knowledge, I said,
- 1:45:17Speaker 1: the man that I picked out was the same height
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: and the same weight and description. But as far as
- 1:45:25Speaker 1: actually saying that is the man, I couldn't. Mister Ball,
- 1:45:30Speaker 1: you couldn't do it. I wouldn't do it, and I
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: wouldn't do it now. Pretty emphatic saying despite the obvious
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: fixed aspect of the lineups. You know, he has not
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: given up, and that's the Warran commission.
- 1:45:51Speaker 4: There. Comment of the night goes to tray let me
- 1:45:54Speaker 4: see this allegedly, folks. Yeah, kah, let me.
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: Check a couple of comments. Thank you, Trey, we do
- 1:46:15Speaker 1: try to rock.
- 1:46:18Speaker 4: What's up?
- 1:46:19Speaker 1: Rid?
- 1:46:21Speaker 4: Hey?
- 1:46:21Speaker 1: Now?
- 1:46:23Speaker 4: Hey?
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: I know were and in relation to Milton often no,
- 1:46:33Speaker 1: Milton was his first name, So I don't think so
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: opto So all right, let's get into this teenager here.
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: Who was the other witness on the bus. So it
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: was the bus driver who admittedly said I can't identify him.
- 1:46:55Speaker 1: I was driving the bus like I don't know what's
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: going on type of thing. And to his I think,
- 1:47:03Speaker 1: you know, might have kind of fought off some opposition
- 1:47:11Speaker 1: to make him identify him as Oswalt. So credit to
- 1:47:15Speaker 1: Micwater's there.
- 1:47:18Speaker 4: So.
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: The only other known witness to have seen this incident
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: was an teenager named Milton Jones. Jones was a part
- 1:47:26Speaker 1: time student attending the morning classes at Crozier Technical High School.
- 1:47:31Speaker 1: In the afternoon, he worked at Buddy's Supermarket at tenth
- 1:47:35Speaker 1: and Jefferson Streets. Right. He got up at school at
- 1:47:42Speaker 1: about eleven forty five each morning, walked to the bus
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: stop at the Majestic Theater and caught the Marseilless bus
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: on twenty second November. He took a seat near the
- 1:47:51Speaker 1: front door. It was the first front facing seat, opposite
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: the driver. Thus he was situated practically in the middle
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: of where the alleged Oswalt incident was to take place.
- 1:48:06Speaker 1: On March thirtieth, nineteen sixty four, three days before Miss
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: Bledsoe was to testify to the Warrant Commission, the FBI
- 1:48:14Speaker 1: sent agents to the home of Milton Jones in order
- 1:48:18Speaker 1: to clarify some issues raised by the bus driver. An
- 1:48:22Speaker 1: examination of the four page report reveals that Joanes's statements
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: line up with McWaters on two important points. The man
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: was indeed wearing a jacket, and number two, the man
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: sat near the front of the bus in a seat
- 1:48:36Speaker 1: immediately behind Jones. At twelve thirty six, the bus left
- 1:48:41Speaker 1: the intersection of Saint Paul and Elm, going west on
- 1:48:45Speaker 1: Elm Street towards the ESBD. Its route took it through
- 1:48:50Speaker 1: town and then into the suburb of Oakcliffe via Marsalis Avenue.
- 1:48:55Speaker 1: Behind it was another bus also bound for Oakcliffe at
- 1:48:59Speaker 1: the Beckley Avenue bus which we talked about. Traffic was
- 1:49:05Speaker 1: fairly smooth for several blocks, but as the Marseillis bus
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: crossed Field Street, the traffic started to back up. The
- 1:49:14Speaker 1: next street was Griffin and traffic had completely stopped at
- 1:49:18Speaker 1: that point. The time was twelve forty pm. While McWaters
- 1:49:22Speaker 1: waited for the traffic to move again, he heard a
- 1:49:24Speaker 1: man beating on the front of his bus. Mcwater's the
- 1:49:27Speaker 1: bus driver to let him in. He was a medium
- 1:49:29Speaker 1: sized man, dressed in wor clothes and wore a cloth jacket.
- 1:49:34Speaker 1: After paying his fair, he sat behind the teenage boy
- 1:49:37Speaker 1: Milton Jones. Jones got a careful look at the man
- 1:49:41Speaker 1: got a more careful look at the man than McWaters.
- 1:49:45Speaker 1: He described him as a white male, thirty to thirty
- 1:49:47Speaker 1: five years old, five feet eleven inches, a medium billed
- 1:49:51Speaker 1: about one hundred and fifty pounds. His hair was dark brown,
- 1:49:54Speaker 1: and he was receding at the Temples. He wore a
- 1:49:58Speaker 1: light blue jacket and gray khaki trousers. And then they
- 1:50:05Speaker 1: get into Okay. So neither mcwatters nor Jones were actually
- 1:50:14Speaker 1: able to confirm whether Oswalt was on the bus or not.
- 1:50:18Speaker 1: This leaves the official version entirely reliant on eyewitness support.
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: At this point in our inquiry, we find it that
- 1:50:29Speaker 1: the evidence for his presence on the bus comes down
- 1:50:32Speaker 1: to two factors, Oswald's own statements that he was on
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: a bus and the bus transfer found in his pocket.
- 1:50:41Speaker 1: The remainder of this article blah blah. I am reading
- 1:50:45Speaker 1: from part of an article from William Weston in the
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: fourth decade. I think it was like in the late nineties.
- 1:50:54Speaker 1: But now we're going to get into the the interview interrogations,
- 1:51:02Speaker 1: so Thomas Kelly of the Secret Service reported on Saturday morning.
- 1:51:10Speaker 1: Oswalt said that immediately after leaving the building where he worked,
- 1:51:14Speaker 1: he went by bus to the theater where he was arrested.
- 1:51:18Speaker 1: That when he got on the bus, he secured a
- 1:51:20Speaker 1: transfer and therefore transferred to other buses. James Bookout of
- 1:51:25Speaker 1: the FBI also wrote a report on Saturday morning, November
- 1:51:30Speaker 1: twenty third, following his departure from the TSBD, he lee
- 1:51:35Speaker 1: boarded a city bus to his residence and obtained transfer.
- 1:51:39Speaker 1: Upon departure from the bus. He stated that at this
- 1:51:43Speaker 1: time officers took his transfer out of his pocket and
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: from Captain Fritz's report. During this interview, I talked to
- 1:51:54Speaker 1: Oswalt about his leaving the building, and he told me
- 1:51:57Speaker 1: he left by bus and rode to a stop near
- 1:52:00Speaker 1: home and walked to his house. At the time Oswalt's arrest,
- 1:52:05Speaker 1: he had a bus transfer in his pocket.
- 1:52:10Speaker 4: So the it would make sense, Joe if he got
- 1:52:16Speaker 4: dropped off at Marcellis, which was seven blocks from his
- 1:52:20Speaker 4: rooming house. And then the cab driver said he allegedly
- 1:52:25Speaker 4: dropped him off at five hundred North Beckley, which would
- 1:52:28Speaker 4: be seven blocks from his rooming house. That's kind of
- 1:52:32Speaker 4: odd too, don't you think.
- 1:52:34Speaker 1: Yeah, well, okay, so this is what I this is
- 1:52:37Speaker 1: what I kind of think. So because of the traffic
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: around the TSBD at that point, that bus was thirty
- 1:52:44Speaker 1: five to forty five minutes late. It was supposed to
- 1:52:47Speaker 1: arrive at twelve fifty at Marsali's stop, and arrived at
- 1:52:51Speaker 1: one thirty five. Okay, if Oswalt was on that bus,
- 1:52:57Speaker 1: guess what all goes out the window?
- 1:53:01Speaker 4: Tip it?
- 1:53:03Speaker 1: Well, yeah, so why would they make all this effort
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: to get him back to his rooming house at one
- 1:53:13Speaker 1: o'clock and then out by you know a couple of
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: minutes after one, by Early and Roberts, and then to
- 1:53:20Speaker 1: tip it at like one, ten, fifteen, depending what timeline
- 1:53:24Speaker 1: you believe the whole time, like it's blown up if
- 1:53:30Speaker 1: he's on the bus the whole time. So that makes
- 1:53:35Speaker 1: me wonder if they pushed on these people to make
- 1:53:39Speaker 1: the timeline fit a teenager, a woman with a stroke,
- 1:53:48Speaker 1: and a bus driver who knows although he kind of,
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: you know, stood up.
- 1:53:53Speaker 4: For the teenager, and the bus driver said he was both.
- 1:53:55Speaker 4: He was wearing a jacket, but Blize said he was
- 1:53:59Speaker 4: wearing that red shirt, the brown, rusty looking shirt.
- 1:54:03Speaker 1: Yeah, so there are a ton of discrepancies. I actually
- 1:54:07Speaker 1: have a couple here. I'm gonna read read you right here.
- 1:54:11Speaker 1: There are there are six, or I'm gonna read a few.
- 1:54:16Speaker 1: There are six. Bledsoe said that the traffic began backing
- 1:54:20Speaker 1: up after the man how Murphy Street got on. Mcwater
- 1:54:23Speaker 1: said that the traffic was backing up before the man
- 1:54:26Speaker 1: got on. Bledsoe said that the man was not wearing
- 1:54:30Speaker 1: a jacket. Mcwater said that he was. Bledsoe said that
- 1:54:34Speaker 1: the man took a seat in the rear of the bus.
- 1:54:36Speaker 1: Nickwater said that he took a seat near the front
- 1:54:38Speaker 1: of the bus. Bledsoe said that the woman took going
- 1:54:43Speaker 1: to the train station, left before the news of the
- 1:54:45Speaker 1: shooting was heard. Mcwater said that she left after the
- 1:54:50Speaker 1: news was heard. So as they were stopped in the
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: mill of the street, Rob you know, have you have
- 1:54:56Speaker 1: you ever been caught in deep traffic where you're like
- 1:54:59Speaker 1: at a complete star up and you just put it
- 1:55:00Speaker 1: in park, I don't like put my foot on the
- 1:55:04Speaker 1: pedal anymore, and you're and you're kind of like bullshit
- 1:55:06Speaker 1: with the people next to you that are calling traffic.
- 1:55:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:55:09Speaker 1: Right, So the bus didn't have a radio, but the
- 1:55:14Speaker 1: allegedly the driver talked to the person who was left
- 1:55:20Speaker 1: who's listening to the radio. And so the prison just
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: got shot is probably why we're being held up right now,
- 1:55:26Speaker 1: which is very plausible to me. Right, And and that's
- 1:55:32Speaker 1: one of the consistencies of that story is that they
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: heard it from a a fellow motorist that was stuck
- 1:55:39Speaker 1: in traffic with them, right.
- 1:55:43Speaker 4: YEA Economa says, I also wanted had to take the
- 1:55:45Speaker 4: bus taxi we're oute home to Beckley. To counter the
- 1:55:49Speaker 4: claims of Roger Craig, yeah, yeah, But the Roger Craig
- 1:55:55Speaker 4: story doesn't negate the fact that Oswald could have been
- 1:56:00Speaker 4: the shooter. It just means he left in a different way,
- 1:56:06Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying, And not also exactly rob
- 1:56:10Speaker 4: as if they buy, if they buy the Roger Craig story,
- 1:56:16Speaker 4: then that could put him getting back to his rooming
- 1:56:20Speaker 4: housing plenty of time because it was smooth sailing at
- 1:56:25Speaker 4: that point and on Elm Street. You know you weren't
- 1:56:28Speaker 4: backed up in too much traffic once you got through
- 1:56:29Speaker 4: that triple overpass. I mean you're smooth sailing.
- 1:56:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it's exactly the same time twelve forty which twelve
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: forty twelve forty five, Craig said that he saw the
- 1:56:45Speaker 1: person get into the Nash rambler and this exact same
- 1:56:48Speaker 1: time that Oswalt was reported to get on the bus
- 1:56:52Speaker 1: exactly so right, both of them could not have happened
- 1:56:55Speaker 1: at once. No, I agree, agree op though, And let's see,
- 1:57:09Speaker 1: so this is from the one Commission Exhibit twenty six
- 1:57:12Speaker 1: forty one. Not that anyone's keeping count here, but Jones
- 1:57:17Speaker 1: is essentially saying he can't really identify Oswald. Jones, the
- 1:57:22Speaker 1: teenager stated that he did not observe this man closely
- 1:57:25Speaker 1: since he sat behind him in the bus, but on
- 1:57:27Speaker 1: the following one day, when he caught the bus going
- 1:57:30Speaker 1: home from school, the same driver told him he thought
- 1:57:33Speaker 1: this man might have been Lee Harvey Oswald. Jones said
- 1:57:37Speaker 1: that after the driver mentioned this, and from his recollection
- 1:57:40Speaker 1: of Oswald's picture that appeared on television and the newspapers,
- 1:57:44Speaker 1: he thought it was possible it could have been Oswald.
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: It was possible it could have been Oswald. Far from
- 1:57:54Speaker 1: a positive identification there, Yeah, And that's what I think
- 1:58:01Speaker 1: Gil was saying in his articles, Like the driver, the
- 1:58:04Speaker 1: bus driver couldn't say it was Oswalt, this kid couldn't
- 1:58:08Speaker 1: say it was Oswalt, and this woman with a stroke
- 1:58:12Speaker 1: I couldn't say it was Oswald, despite the fact that
- 1:58:14Speaker 1: she had ah H hosted him for a week right,
- 1:58:20Speaker 1: rented out her apartment. But it's all very very shady and.
- 1:58:30Speaker 4: Very murky.
- 1:58:32Speaker 1: Yes, I mean everything with with his whole bus adventures
- 1:58:36Speaker 1: are extremely murky, everything to mexicpicity back. Do I think
- 1:58:46Speaker 1: Oswalt was on the bus after looking into this for
- 1:58:52Speaker 1: like two days specifically, I don't know, man, I don't know.
- 1:59:01Speaker 1: It's hard. I think maybe maybe like thirty percent chance, yes,
- 1:59:06Speaker 1: that he was on there for a little while. But
- 1:59:10Speaker 1: you have to imagine they're planting the transfer ticket there,
- 1:59:14Speaker 1: coercing all these things. I think it's probably half truth, right.
- 1:59:19Speaker 1: He might have been on for a second, and maybe
- 1:59:23Speaker 1: the impatient oswalk got off really.
- 1:59:24Speaker 4: Quickly because the name of the taxi driver changed from
- 1:59:28Speaker 4: like Darryl Glick to William Wally, you know, according to
- 1:59:36Speaker 4: I think it was Bill Alexander who said that name
- 1:59:39Speaker 4: Darryl Glick as being the taxi driver, and that changed
- 1:59:43Speaker 4: to William Whaley, who conveniently died in a cabreck like
- 1:59:49Speaker 4: a year after you know, all this went down, which
- 1:59:54Speaker 4: isn't just a little bit sus in itself, but yeah,
- 1:59:59Speaker 4: there's there's just so much, dude that you just can't
- 2:00:04Speaker 4: rely on.
- 2:00:05Speaker 1: It's all contraded, it's all conflicting, right, So it's it's
- 2:00:10Speaker 1: kind of like you gotta go with the Larry Hancock method,
- 2:00:14Speaker 1: like what is consistent?
- 2:00:15Speaker 7: What is.
- 2:00:20Speaker 5: Not?
- 2:00:20Speaker 4: A lot? That's what?
- 2:00:22Speaker 7: Right?
- 2:00:23Speaker 4: Right?
- 2:00:24Speaker 1: So, and and why don't you go into it really
- 2:00:28Speaker 1: quickly because we had a great conversation a couple of
- 2:00:30Speaker 1: weeks ago on Buel Frasiers Ah, you know, picking him up?
- 2:00:42Speaker 1: Did he pick him up every day? Did he not?
- 2:00:43Speaker 1: Did he take the bus if not, where are those witnesses?
- 2:00:46Speaker 1: Do we go over that already? Am I an Indian?
- 2:00:50Speaker 4: Yeah? But I just can't. I can't remember if it
- 2:00:52Speaker 4: was on a Wednesday night show or if it was
- 2:00:54Speaker 4: on a It was.
- 2:00:55Speaker 1: On a Wednesday. I know it was on a Wednesday.
- 2:00:57Speaker 1: So that's what I'm saying.
- 2:01:00Speaker 4: Well, you know, again I bring up the point, and
- 2:01:07Speaker 4: you know the point is not baseless. You know. I
- 2:01:12Speaker 4: ran through the HC A testimony of Harold Norman, Junior, Jarman,
- 2:01:19Speaker 4: Edward Shields, and Roy Lewis Lewis, and all of them
- 2:01:28Speaker 4: said that Oswald rode with Frasier all the time, every day.
- 2:01:35Speaker 4: I even played the audio from Roy Lewis, you know,
- 2:01:39Speaker 4: stating that he rode with him every day, and that
- 2:01:42Speaker 4: they parked right there in the back of the school
- 2:01:46Speaker 4: depository normally on Houston Street, right where it dead ended
- 2:01:49Speaker 4: before you get to the railroad tracks before it was
- 2:01:51Speaker 4: opened up. That's the Thruway.
- 2:01:54Speaker 1: Wait, did he drop him off there or did he
- 2:01:56Speaker 1: park there?
- 2:01:58Speaker 4: He parked there and they used to come in he's
- 2:02:00Speaker 4: did they come in the back door together? Okay, hold on,
- 2:02:03Speaker 4: let me see if let me see if I have
- 2:02:07Speaker 4: this audio handy, I may not have taken it off here.
- 2:02:16Speaker 1: Yeah, opto economists. I agree, he could not be seen
- 2:02:21Speaker 1: getting help from an accomplice, right, So maybe was that
- 2:02:24Speaker 1: the reason why they possibly made up this this bus
- 2:02:31Speaker 1: story and getting in a cab and that, because if
- 2:02:34Speaker 1: you're picked up from the TSBD, it's you're not alone nut,
- 2:02:39Speaker 1: all right. If Roger Craig is right, that's a conspiracy.
- 2:02:43Speaker 1: So they seem to have gone out of their way
- 2:02:46Speaker 1: to prove that he kind of got back there by himself.
- 2:02:53Speaker 4: I agree, I'm looking hold.
- 2:03:01Speaker 1: On, Sorry, Mike, I said Crozier and it's Crozier, so
- 2:03:11Speaker 1: I mispronounced to Dallas Street.
- 2:03:13Speaker 4: Sorry, sir out there.
- 2:03:16Speaker 1: You Hey, I'm just glad I got Marsalis right. I'm
- 2:03:21Speaker 1: not even sure I have it right?
- 2:03:32Speaker 4: All right, here it is. Let me download it real
- 2:03:37Speaker 4: quick and then i'll upload it into restream and then
- 2:03:44Speaker 4: we'll listen to it again.
- 2:03:46Speaker 1: Uh, Paul, there were on that bus, the martialists bus,
- 2:03:52Speaker 1: there were about five people out of the forty four
- 2:03:57Speaker 1: person capacity, so you're thinking blood. So the teenager and
- 2:04:02Speaker 1: there were two other old ladies and Oswalter or maybe
- 2:04:06Speaker 1: another old lady, but it was pretty much empty, and
- 2:04:10Speaker 1: it was mostly old ladies except for the teenager.
- 2:04:13Speaker 4: That's what I read, all right, I got it, Joe right,
- 2:04:17Speaker 4: here we go.
- 2:04:19Speaker 1: That was my concent.
- 2:04:21Speaker 2: And then he went in parts and didn't win a part. Right,
- 2:04:24Speaker 2: my content, that's right. But I didn't see anything. I
- 2:04:26Speaker 2: can't say because I wasn't. He put him out in
- 2:04:30Speaker 2: the bag. He was always put it back.
- 2:04:32Speaker 1: Now.
- 2:04:32Speaker 2: You said he wrote with him on weekend. He wrote
- 2:04:34Speaker 2: with him every day, really, Monday through Friday. Really we
- 2:04:38Speaker 2: didn't know that. And he would bring him, but he
- 2:04:42Speaker 2: would own it. He would let him out in the bag,
- 2:04:44Speaker 2: don't That's what we're gonna tell you.
- 2:04:50Speaker 1: Every day.
- 2:04:51Speaker 4: Yeah, every day they're coming out of the back door
- 2:04:55Speaker 4: together again. I'll play it again for the folks who
- 2:05:02Speaker 4: missed the first time.
- 2:05:05Speaker 2: And then he went in part and didn't win a part.
- 2:05:07Speaker 2: Right that I have my content, that's right. But I
- 2:05:09Speaker 2: didn't see anything. I can't say because I wasn't. He
- 2:05:13Speaker 2: put him out in the bag. He was always putting back.
- 2:05:16Speaker 1: Now.
- 2:05:16Speaker 2: You said he wrote with him on weekend. He wrote
- 2:05:18Speaker 2: with him every day really, Monday through Friday. Really we
- 2:05:22Speaker 2: didn't know it. And he would bring him, but he.
- 2:05:26Speaker 1: Would own it.
- 2:05:26Speaker 2: He would let him out in the bag. No, that's
- 2:05:28Speaker 2: what we're going to kill you.
- 2:05:33Speaker 1: Seems confident about it, bro.
- 2:05:36Speaker 4: Yeah. And again if he was the only one saying it,
- 2:05:40Speaker 4: it might be sus. But he's like one of five
- 2:05:44Speaker 4: people that said it, right, and they all happened to
- 2:05:47Speaker 4: be African American employees of the school book Depository. Yeah.
- 2:05:54Speaker 1: Yeah, And you went through on the members only that
- 2:05:57Speaker 1: it would only be like one or one and a
- 2:06:01Speaker 1: half mile detour, like five something minutes.
- 2:06:05Speaker 4: A quarter detour mile quarter to pick him up or
- 2:06:09Speaker 4: take him home from Frazer's way back to Irving. So
- 2:06:14Speaker 4: again it's not the real possibility because again we don't
- 2:06:18Speaker 4: have any test the people that allegedly rode a bus
- 2:06:24Speaker 4: to and from work with Oswald for two months.
- 2:06:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it would have been the Beckley bus,
- 2:06:31Speaker 1: the Beckley route, right, that the one that was right
- 2:06:34Speaker 1: across from his uh Beckley rooming house. That early Roberts
- 2:06:39Speaker 1: saw him standing there after he got his allegedly gun
- 2:06:42Speaker 1: in jacket, right when he's rushing to the Tippet or
- 2:06:47Speaker 1: you know, to meet Tippot, not intentionally, but towards that area.
- 2:06:52Speaker 1: But Robert says she saw him just chilling at the
- 2:06:55Speaker 1: bus station, not a care in the world.
- 2:06:58Speaker 4: Yeah, because normally people the ride buses, you know, that's
- 2:07:02Speaker 4: their deal. They don't have vehicles, especially back then. They
- 2:07:06Speaker 4: ride a bus to work, they ride a bus home
- 2:07:08Speaker 4: from work, like, same group of people all the time,
- 2:07:16Speaker 4: you know. And occasionally when you have somebody new, you
- 2:07:18Speaker 4: have a new face that keeps popping up on the
- 2:07:21Speaker 4: bus week after week after week after week. You know,
- 2:07:25Speaker 4: somebody's gonna notice.
- 2:07:27Speaker 1: Yeah, especially seeing the nudes, right, you have someone come forward?
- 2:07:33Speaker 4: Yeah, somebody would definitely have to come forward. Uh yeah,
- 2:07:39Speaker 4: nobody did. And again we have five eyewitnesses who stay
- 2:07:43Speaker 4: different that that Phraser brought him to work every day,
- 2:07:48Speaker 4: which would imply that he took him home every day.
- 2:07:52Speaker 4: And I doubt, I highly doubt that he had Fraser
- 2:08:00Speaker 4: came up or dropped him off right in front of
- 2:08:01Speaker 4: his rooming house. It was probably a couple of blocks away,
- 2:08:04Speaker 4: because he probably wouldn't want Fraser to know exactly where
- 2:08:06Speaker 4: he lived, you know what I'm saying.
- 2:08:09Speaker 1: With his sister being close to uh ruth.
- 2:08:13Speaker 4: Yeah, and Oswald's pattern of being dropped off blocks away
- 2:08:18Speaker 4: from his actual rooming house, whether it be from a
- 2:08:22Speaker 4: bus or cab or Fraser. You know, it just seems
- 2:08:27Speaker 4: like something he would do. He wouldn't have. He wouldn't
- 2:08:29Speaker 4: get picked up and drops off right in front of
- 2:08:31Speaker 4: his rooming house because too many people be all over
- 2:08:33Speaker 4: in his business.
- 2:08:34Speaker 1: I mean, it really depends on their relationship. I mean,
- 2:08:38Speaker 1: I don't know. If he wasn't skin, you don't.
- 2:08:41Speaker 4: Have It was the early and Roberts saying that some
- 2:08:44Speaker 4: guy in his old piece of shit car was picking
- 2:08:46Speaker 4: him up the river.
- 2:08:47Speaker 1: That is very true. Yeah, you're right, So you're right.
- 2:08:50Speaker 1: And I don't think she ever commented on how we
- 2:08:54Speaker 1: got to work. And we know every day of the
- 2:08:57Speaker 1: TSBD was was marked with time cards and shit like that, like, yeah,
- 2:09:04Speaker 1: we really have no idea how we got to work.
- 2:09:07Speaker 4: We have no idea. We do have five eyewitnesses. Well
- 2:09:13Speaker 4: you aren't to me like the documentary and we're talking.
- 2:09:17Speaker 4: You know, the HSCA was what fifteen years after the assassination,
- 2:09:22Speaker 4: and all these guys had went on different paths in
- 2:09:24Speaker 4: their life. None of them knew each other in the seventies,
- 2:09:27Speaker 4: you know, like Harold Norman had went on to work
- 2:09:29Speaker 4: somewhere else and moved somewhere else, and Jarman and went
- 2:09:33Speaker 4: and worked and moved somewhere else. Good Givens and went
- 2:09:35Speaker 4: and moved somewhere else, Shields and went and moved and
- 2:09:38Speaker 4: lived somewhere else. And Roy Lewis had moved and lived
- 2:09:41Speaker 4: and worked somewhere else. But yet in the seventies and
- 2:09:46Speaker 4: for the HSCA, and they're all interviewed independently, and they
- 2:09:50Speaker 4: all say the same thing. Why would they all lie
- 2:09:55Speaker 4: about that.
- 2:09:59Speaker 1: Just saying yeah, I mean, the only thing that I
- 2:10:03Speaker 1: can kind of put together, put to them two together
- 2:10:06Speaker 1: is that they had to really kind of edit his
- 2:10:12Speaker 1: his route home because they needed to fit him in
- 2:10:16Speaker 1: the timeline to get to tended patent in time.
- 2:10:20Speaker 4: Too, and asked them these questions. They never asked any
- 2:10:28Speaker 4: of it TSBD employees these questions. That's why they didn't
- 2:10:32Speaker 4: say anything then. But the AGCA thought there was something
- 2:10:38Speaker 4: that smelled a little fishy about the Fraser story, and
- 2:10:42Speaker 4: they were pursuing that angle, right, And because of their
- 2:10:50Speaker 4: interview with Fraser, he may have said some things. They
- 2:10:52Speaker 4: were little suss you know, like the whole you know,
- 2:10:56Speaker 4: I'm standing out front of the steps that I knew
- 2:10:59Speaker 4: he hid the rifle and thought to myself, oh, my god,
- 2:11:01Speaker 4: I don't want to be dragged into you know, which
- 2:11:04Speaker 4: would imply something totally different than the story that he's
- 2:11:08Speaker 4: always told. And you know, he tried to evade him,
- 2:11:14Speaker 4: he didn't want to talk to him. He had been
- 2:11:17Speaker 4: he'd been part of that book.
- 2:11:18Speaker 6: Uh.
- 2:11:19Speaker 4: Peter o' two old tool Peter O'Toole did right the
- 2:11:25Speaker 4: assassination tapes and concluded from his PST test that Frasier
- 2:11:31Speaker 4: was lying about everything that he said. So the agency
- 2:11:37Speaker 4: thought something was really suspect about him. That's why they
- 2:11:40Speaker 4: were questioning these guys about him, like, you know, who
- 2:11:42Speaker 4: is Oswald's friend? Who did he come to work with?
- 2:11:46Speaker 4: How did he get to work, how did he get home?
- 2:11:49Speaker 4: You know? Yeah? And there you have it. And I
- 2:11:54Speaker 4: got one more thing Joe before we go. Okay, and
- 2:11:57Speaker 4: this is a fun one, So everybody you'll like this.
- 2:12:03Speaker 4: Buckle up, all right, Joe, say hello, Say hello to
- 2:12:13Speaker 4: Tony Tony Connell. You ready, Hi, Tony? This is Tony.
- 2:12:23Speaker 4: Tony is a Lee Harvey Oswald look alike. Okay. Tony
- 2:12:29Speaker 4: is a hairstylist, presumably not gay, who works at Great
- 2:12:36Speaker 4: Clips in Southwest Austin, Texas. Yeah, he has a funny
- 2:12:41Speaker 4: little guy who looks a whole lot like Lee Harvey Oswald.
- 2:12:47Speaker 1: Does he?
- 2:12:52Speaker 4: Yeah? I think so. You just hold on a minute,
- 2:13:01Speaker 4: let me get you this story. Okay, okay. I had
- 2:13:06Speaker 4: to ask Tony does it help to pick up chicks
- 2:13:09Speaker 4: implying that he's not gay? Oh no, I've never used
- 2:13:14Speaker 4: it that way, said Tony, who could become a stand
- 2:13:17Speaker 4: up comedian if you worked on it. It would be interesting. Hey,
- 2:13:21Speaker 4: you got a think for presidential assassins. I've got a
- 2:13:23Speaker 4: friend who looks like John Willkes Booth. We could go
- 2:13:26Speaker 4: on a double date. Tony looks so much like President
- 2:13:31Speaker 4: John F. Kennedy's alleged killer that he even fooled his mother.
- 2:13:35Speaker 4: He copied a photo as you can see here in
- 2:13:37Speaker 4: the picture of Oswald in his marine uniform and then
- 2:13:40Speaker 4: showed it to his own mother without telling her who
- 2:13:42Speaker 4: was in the picture. And she said, I've never seen
- 2:13:46Speaker 4: that picture of you in the army before. And I said,
- 2:13:49Speaker 4: that's not me in the army, that's Lee Harvey Oswald
- 2:13:51Speaker 4: and the Marines. And she said, you have the same
- 2:13:54Speaker 4: goofy ass smile he does.
- 2:13:58Speaker 1: That's true. They do have the same movie small And.
- 2:14:01Speaker 4: Said the guy looks so much like Lee Harvey that
- 2:14:04Speaker 4: he's played Lee Harvey Oswald in some reenactment videos. He
- 2:14:08Speaker 4: can't get away from it. My nickname in the army
- 2:14:11Speaker 4: was Lee Harvey, or it was Opie, Tony said. One
- 2:14:15Speaker 4: of my drill sergeants loved calling me Lee Harvey out
- 2:14:17Speaker 4: of the shooting range to piss me off. He says
- 2:14:21Speaker 4: he's cool with it now, and one of his regular
- 2:14:23Speaker 4: haircut customers asked for Lee Harvey when he comes in
- 2:14:27Speaker 4: for a trim. Tony has some fun with this, like
- 2:14:33Speaker 4: the time he attended the fortieth anniversary of the assassination
- 2:14:36Speaker 4: in two thousand and three in Dallas. He says, I
- 2:14:40Speaker 4: dressed up like Lee Harvey Oswald and hung out in
- 2:14:43Speaker 4: Dealey Plaza. What I was doing was I was going
- 2:14:48Speaker 4: up to people and asking if they thought that I
- 2:14:50Speaker 4: did it. I thought it was the most clever thing
- 2:14:54Speaker 4: on earth. He says he managed to ask about twenty
- 2:14:57Speaker 4: people if they thought he did it before he got
- 2:14:59Speaker 4: taught off to property by a security guard. Apparently the
- 2:15:04Speaker 4: security guard thought he should do it someplace else. Tony's
- 2:15:08Speaker 4: looks have led him to his strong interest in the subject.
- 2:15:11Speaker 4: He says he's read easily over two hundred books on
- 2:15:15Speaker 4: the Kennedy assassination. His little house in East Austin has
- 2:15:19Speaker 4: all sorts of books and magazines around with articles about
- 2:15:22Speaker 4: the event. So does he think that Oswald was the man?
- 2:15:27Speaker 4: Not by himself? Tony said he thinks Oswald was in
- 2:15:29Speaker 4: on it, but that his shot hit the sidewalk. He
- 2:15:33Speaker 4: was too much of a screw up to pull it off,
- 2:15:35Speaker 4: he says. I asked Tony if he'd ever thought about
- 2:15:38Speaker 4: becoming a Lee Harvey Oswald impersonator, and he says, nope.
- 2:15:43Speaker 4: What would you do? He asked, good question. A comedy
- 2:15:47Speaker 4: routine with Tony and the Jack Ruby look alike probably
- 2:15:50Speaker 4: wouldn't get hired to breaking up many chili cookoffs. Tony
- 2:15:53Speaker 4: plays guitar, though, so he thought about doing something musically,
- 2:15:57Speaker 4: He says. I thought about forming a band and calling
- 2:15:59Speaker 4: it the Lee Hart Harvey Wallbangers. He says Tony first
- 2:16:05Speaker 4: noticed that he looked like Lee Harvey Oswald when a
- 2:16:07Speaker 4: fellow sixth grader in his hometown of Whitesboro in North
- 2:16:10Speaker 4: Texas saw photo of Oswald in a textbook and he said, hey,
- 2:16:14Speaker 4: you look just like this motherfucker. And I said whatever,
- 2:16:18Speaker 4: But these days, he's milking it. One of my favorite
- 2:16:22Speaker 4: ones is to go to half priced books and read
- 2:16:23Speaker 4: it jfk Assassination Literature and see if anybody notices me
- 2:16:28Speaker 4: doing it.
- 2:16:32Speaker 1: So, yeah, that's great, And Trey might actually have the
- 2:16:39Speaker 1: comment of the night here. And you should get this.
- 2:16:43Speaker 1: If I'm going to get this, Rob, you should. Lee Harvey,
- 2:16:46Speaker 1: you are a madman when you stole that cow and
- 2:16:50Speaker 1: your friend tried to make it with the cow. I
- 2:16:52Speaker 1: want to party with you, cowboy, two of us together,
- 2:16:56Speaker 1: forget it. Do you know what that's from? I do not.
- 2:17:02Speaker 1: That is from Stripes Bill Murray.
- 2:17:05Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah yeah.
- 2:17:07Speaker 1: And there was a guy that was like kind of
- 2:17:09Speaker 1: a psycho guy and was like, Lee Harvey, you are
- 2:17:12Speaker 1: a mad man. And yeah, Trey will respect that, right.
- 2:17:19Speaker 1: I think I got that track.
- 2:17:20Speaker 4: Yet, well done and well done.
- 2:17:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's like an eighties movie, so you would
- 2:17:26Speaker 1: think that would be before my time it was, but
- 2:17:32Speaker 1: uh no, I love that movie.
- 2:17:35Speaker 4: But he does.
- 2:17:37Speaker 1: As I looked at him as you were reading that,
- 2:17:39Speaker 1: it came a little closer for me. But he was
- 2:17:45Speaker 1: young there, I mean, but I mean Lee was like
- 2:17:48Speaker 1: what twenty three, twenty four? He was young?
- 2:17:52Speaker 4: Yeah, well, this kid was twenty eight at the time
- 2:17:55Speaker 4: of the article of the Oh wow, yeah, but could
- 2:18:01Speaker 4: you imagine the fortieth going there and seeing somebody looked
- 2:18:04Speaker 4: just like Lee Harvey Oswell, do you think I did it?
- 2:18:06Speaker 4: Do you think I killed the president? And then to
- 2:18:10Speaker 4: get kicked out of Daly Plaza? I mean that takes something, bro.
- 2:18:16Speaker 1: It takes a lot to get kicked out of Dally
- 2:18:18Speaker 1: Plaza these days, right, you have JFK Junior QAnon, people
- 2:18:23Speaker 1: like going nuts blocking traffic, like Judy and Beverly taking old.
- 2:18:31Speaker 4: Walking around.
- 2:18:33Speaker 1: It was it was chaos when I was there this
- 2:18:36Speaker 1: past year. So yeah, for him to get kicked out, uh,
- 2:18:40Speaker 1: that is that is kind of crazy.
- 2:18:42Speaker 4: So Tony, if you are a big buff and you
- 2:18:46Speaker 4: somehow hear this show, we want to get you on
- 2:18:49Speaker 4: the show. Anybody knows Tony in Austin, Tony Connell, the
- 2:18:54Speaker 4: guy who looks like Lee Harvey Oswell, we want to
- 2:18:57Speaker 4: get his ass on the show. So put us in
- 2:18:59Speaker 4: touch the Lone Guman podcast at gmail dot com. And
- 2:19:04Speaker 4: that's a fact.
- 2:19:05Speaker 1: Jack, Yeah, that's another uh uh stripes quote there. Great movie,
- 2:19:15Speaker 1: one of the best. Well thank you, Paul. Yeah, I
- 2:19:20Speaker 1: mean listen when it comes to we might have created
- 2:19:23Speaker 1: more questions than answers.
- 2:19:25Speaker 8: Rob here on the show, probably banging Mike.
- 2:19:31Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean, Like we might have
- 2:19:36Speaker 1: created more questions.
- 2:19:37Speaker 4: We definitely gave no answers about anything.
- 2:19:40Speaker 1: Yeah, and it'scus like, honestly, we don't know and we're
- 2:19:44Speaker 1: not gonna make shut up.
- 2:19:45Speaker 4: Everybody hasn't because everything is such a cluster. That's why
- 2:19:50Speaker 4: Mexico City is one of the biggest clusters in all this.
- 2:19:55Speaker 4: To figure that out, good luck to figure out New
- 2:19:59Speaker 4: Orleans more plausible than Mexico City, but good luck to
- 2:20:04Speaker 4: figure out Dallas. Good luck. I mean, those are the
- 2:20:08Speaker 4: three big things that are just totally whacked out in
- 2:20:13Speaker 4: this whole thing.
- 2:20:15Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's crazy, but you know, we gave a
- 2:20:22Speaker 1: lot of facts and hopefully you guys can kind of
- 2:20:24Speaker 1: make up, you know, your own decisions here. But I
- 2:20:31Speaker 1: I really just don't know. I think he I think
- 2:20:36Speaker 1: the whole bust thing is completely in Dallas after the assassination.
- 2:20:41Speaker 1: Is just doesn't make sense to me at all at all.
- 2:20:48Speaker 1: Nothing about that makes.
- 2:20:49Speaker 4: Sense to me. Yeah, so thanks for going down the
- 2:20:53Speaker 4: rabbit hole with us. Let me also throw this out there,
- 2:20:58Speaker 4: Joe down down in the description for this video, there
- 2:21:01Speaker 4: is a link if you would like to become a
- 2:21:03Speaker 4: member of the channel uh and join the elites and
- 2:21:08Speaker 4: get yourself an extra show a week that we do
- 2:21:11Speaker 4: on Wednesday nights, just for members only. So if you'd
- 2:21:14Speaker 4: like to support the show, you can do that, and
