- 0:20Speaker 1: Hey, everyone, welcome to Blessed Mess and the True One podcast.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I Don't Care, here's do so has dope. All right,
- 0:24Speaker 1: we're back this week and we are going to Texas
- 0:27Speaker 1: to Yes, we're a little behind if you haven't been awares.
- 0:32Speaker 1: We just had a I just had a baby. We
- 0:36Speaker 1: I just had a baby three weeks ago, so we
- 0:39Speaker 1: are trying to record. We have intentions of it. And
- 0:42Speaker 1: then sometimes he doesn't sleep well, and by doesn't sleep well,
- 0:46Speaker 1: I've been watching like TikTok. If this sounds a little
- 0:50Speaker 1: different too, I have to We had to open the
- 0:51Speaker 1: closet door because he's laying. We had to put him
- 0:55Speaker 1: in his doncataut. So then I need to be watching
- 0:57Speaker 1: him at all times because you know, I'm paranoid. So
- 1:01Speaker 1: unless he's in his basinet, I don't feel comfortable. Unless
- 1:04Speaker 1: he's in his bacinet in his proper sleep situation, I
- 1:07Speaker 1: don't feel comfortable leaving him because I'm paranoid of like
- 1:12Speaker 1: like the safe sleep practices. So anyways, but he wasn't
- 1:16Speaker 1: going to sleep, but there was only a couple of options.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Is either to let him sleep or and then I
- 1:25Speaker 1: would be woken up multiple times tonight or wake him up,
- 1:28Speaker 1: get his food in, and then therefore maybe I can
- 1:30Speaker 1: sleep more tonight because we you don't do any of
- 1:34Speaker 1: the overnight stuff. Okay, we we your thing. And before
- 1:40Speaker 1: anybody says a buss doo should be getting a no,
- 1:43Speaker 1: this is my choice. I have to pump in the
- 1:45Speaker 1: middle of the night anyway, So I take anything overnight
- 1:48Speaker 1: and then he takes over at six am, anything six
- 1:50Speaker 1: am or in that general vicinity, or if I'm too tired,
- 1:54Speaker 1: I'll just wake him up and say, like, you got
- 1:55Speaker 1: to take over, and then I sleep. I get a good,
- 1:58Speaker 1: like five or six hours stretch asleep, and then I
- 2:01Speaker 1: wake up and my boobs are about to explode. It's okay,
- 2:05Speaker 1: I've got a great supply, so it's fine anyway. So
- 2:08Speaker 1: sometimes we've been trying. We haven't really been doing the
- 2:12Speaker 1: scheduling because he's been pretty good. But the other night
- 2:15Speaker 1: I was like, okay, we got to get him on.
- 2:17Speaker 1: And when I say he's been waking up a bunch
- 2:18Speaker 1: of the night, it's like he's woken up. He wakes
- 2:20Speaker 1: up like twice in the night. So I mean, I'm
- 2:23Speaker 1: being dramatic because I've watched, like I said, I've been
- 2:25Speaker 1: watching like tiktoks and stuff of like newborn nights and
- 2:28Speaker 1: some of them be waking up every hours do I'm like, oh.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Jesus, I can't how that goes.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Well, it's just he's a bigger baby. That helps. Plus
- 2:36Speaker 1: I pump and I feed him. Therefore I can make sure.
- 2:38Speaker 1: That's why I like to pump. Part of the reason
- 2:41Speaker 1: I feel like I can make sure he gets a
- 2:43Speaker 1: full feed. Like I know he's got his three ounces in.
- 2:47Speaker 1: He is, he is solid, so therefore we were trying.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I needed to wake him up before we recorded and
- 2:53Speaker 1: feed him. So therefore I can get his He's up
- 2:56Speaker 1: to about twenty two to twenty four ounces a day. Well,
- 2:58Speaker 1: the key is to get those ounces in between when
- 3:01Speaker 1: he wakes up in the morning, so six seven o'clock
- 3:04Speaker 1: in the morning right now until bedtime, which will be
- 3:06Speaker 1: around like ten ten thirty or so. You need to
- 3:09Speaker 1: work to get those ounces in during the day so
- 3:11Speaker 1: he can sleep overnight. So we're just trying. I'm not
- 3:15Speaker 1: expecting a three week old to sleep for night or now.
- 3:17Speaker 1: We're just laying the foundation, so we're trying to shift
- 3:19Speaker 1: those ounces to the daytime. Make sure he's exposed to
- 3:23Speaker 1: natural light during the day so he gets his days
- 3:26Speaker 1: and nights settled. We try not to swaddle him too
- 3:29Speaker 1: much in the daytime so he learns that when he
- 3:32Speaker 1: puts the swaddle on, that means it's nighttime and we sleep.
- 3:36Speaker 1: So anyways, so last night we worked really hard yesterday
- 3:38Speaker 1: to get all of his ounces in and like kept
- 3:40Speaker 1: track of it, and he only woke up once last night.
- 3:42Speaker 1: He woke up at three am, and then he woke
- 3:44Speaker 1: up again at six for Stu to take over. So anyways,
- 3:49Speaker 1: we're trying to replicate that to night. So anyways, my
- 3:51Speaker 1: point was is we're trying to record, but if I'm
- 3:53Speaker 1: not on top of things, he wakes up more during
- 3:55Speaker 1: the night, and then I'm tired, and then I can't
- 3:57Speaker 1: do it, and then and then yeah, so and on
- 4:02Speaker 1: top of this behind yes, and then if you're also
- 4:05Speaker 1: new here, we also have three other children. We have
- 4:07Speaker 1: a five year old, a three year old, and a
- 4:09Speaker 1: two year old and then this newborn. So it's not
- 4:12Speaker 1: it just like we're not just like, oh, dramatic like
- 4:14Speaker 1: newborn parents. We're just like which we used to be.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I was joking. I was like, man, I used to
- 4:19Speaker 1: think newborns are so hard when we only had one,
- 4:21Speaker 1: and then now it's like this guy's like easy. Even
- 4:24Speaker 1: waking up in the middle of the night with him,
- 4:25Speaker 1: it's like, it's fine. But he's a he's a general
- 4:30Speaker 1: I understand, he's a generally good sleeper, and if you
- 4:32Speaker 1: don't have one that's a good sleeper that can be.
- 4:34Speaker 1: That's what happened with our first one. She was not
- 4:36Speaker 1: a good sleeper at all, and uh, that's what caused
- 4:40Speaker 1: us me to like atch when she was four ks old,
- 4:42Speaker 1: I was like, I can't, I can't function like this,
- 4:45Speaker 1: and so that's why I got that tanky care of
- 4:46Speaker 1: Baby's course, and it worked, and then it worked on
- 4:50Speaker 1: the second one, and then it worked on the third one,
- 4:52Speaker 1: and then now we're trying to make it work on
- 4:53Speaker 1: the fourth one. So anyway, so they all slept sixties.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Between six and eight weeks, they were all sleeping. They
- 5:00Speaker 1: started sleeping like eight hours at night, and then by
- 5:02Speaker 1: the time they were twelve weeks old, they were all
- 5:03Speaker 1: sleeping twelve hours. And they're all still for the most part,
- 5:07Speaker 1: good sleepers. Problem, yes, problem now is we have the five,
- 5:13Speaker 1: the three, and the two year old. They all share
- 5:14Speaker 1: a room and if one of them's lamped up, they're
- 5:18Speaker 1: all lamped up. So that's the other problem with getting
- 5:20Speaker 1: him all to bed at night.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Now.
- 5:21Speaker 1: So now we removed the three year old. For the
- 5:24Speaker 1: most part, he starts off in there, but shortly after
- 5:26Speaker 1: he gets removed to time out and he has to
- 5:29Speaker 1: come basically lay in our room until he goes to sleep,
- 5:32Speaker 1: so and then he gets moved back to his room. Anyways,
- 5:36Speaker 1: that was all. That was all my reasoning for why
- 5:38Speaker 1: we're late on our episode or we missed last.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Week and Shoot the Poo and episode.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Yeah, we're working on a Shoot the Poo, but stuon
- 5:46Speaker 1: needs to watch what we're gonna talk about on Shoot
- 5:48Speaker 1: the Poop.
- 5:48Speaker 2: So that's why, Well you need to watch it again.
- 5:50Speaker 1: It's been a while, Yes, it has been a while,
- 5:52Speaker 1: and it was crazy. It was crazy. We're gonna, we're gonna,
- 5:55Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about the the first Shoot the poof
- 5:59Speaker 1: you never it's a Patreon only thing, so we basically
- 6:01Speaker 1: talked about our lives and here the last couple of
- 6:03Speaker 1: times it's only been about like me being pregnant and
- 6:06Speaker 1: the baby and the birth of the baby and all stuff.
- 6:08Speaker 1: But we're getting back to where we talk about some
- 6:10Speaker 1: sort of true crime thing. So that's what we're going
- 6:13Speaker 1: to do this week to try to get things back
- 6:15Speaker 1: to normal. We'll still share some personal stories, like like
- 6:18Speaker 1: the baby had a blowout at the post office and
- 6:20Speaker 1: I had to change him on the floor. And when
- 6:22Speaker 1: I say a blowout, I mean like up. We'll talk
- 6:26Speaker 1: about those things and everything.
- 6:29Speaker 2: It's not like you were just going there to mail
- 6:31Speaker 2: a letter either, you're going there for a passport file.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Yes, anyway, so we'll talk about we talked about stuff
- 6:35Speaker 1: like that that happens to us. It's really mundane, boring stuff.
- 6:38Speaker 2: But you know, sure it's nothing only time that it's
- 6:43Speaker 2: happened to anybody.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Yeah, anyway, So that's where we've been. And okay, so
- 6:48Speaker 1: Patreon that's where you get the episodes twenty four hours
- 6:50Speaker 1: early in ad free, you also get to shoot the Pooh.
- 6:53Speaker 1: That's semi weekly. We were doing a pretty good job
- 6:55Speaker 1: weekly up until you know, I birned the baby. And
- 6:58Speaker 1: then we have Instagram, Facebook, TikTok. I usually share true
- 7:03Speaker 1: crime recommendations like shows to watch so you don't have
- 7:07Speaker 1: to like doom scroll like through Discovery Plus trying to
- 7:11Speaker 1: find something you can just go to whatever crazy episode
- 7:14Speaker 1: I tell you is crazy watch. And then we have
- 7:19Speaker 1: iTunes rate or Apple podcast reorder. It's called wherever you
- 7:22Speaker 1: list your podcast, rate, review, subscribe, and oh, we're on
- 7:26Speaker 1: YouTube as well. Do these episodes go to YouTube? Yes, okay,
- 7:30Speaker 1: I don't.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I don't know if they publish automatically.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 7:33Speaker 2: I think I got to publish them. I'm behind on.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Publishing the short the like the reels, I do those
- 7:38Speaker 1: go to YouTube. I post those on YouTube, might recommendation,
- 7:41Speaker 1: so those are on there. And then these long episodes
- 7:43Speaker 1: are supposed to be on there, but I don't know
- 7:45Speaker 1: if we have it set up properly. Probably not, I
- 7:47Speaker 1: don't think so.
- 7:48Speaker 2: I think I got to schedule them to be.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Released, okay, and then we have, but it's not like
- 7:56Speaker 1: video of us, like I feel like most of the
- 7:58Speaker 1: people that do YouTube have like video of them doing it,
- 8:02Speaker 1: but like we're in a c We're in a closet, guys. Okay,
- 8:07Speaker 1: there is an air conditioning event, so that's helpful. It
- 8:09Speaker 1: feels real good today because I got the door open,
- 8:11Speaker 1: but it might be affecting the sound, so sorry about that.
- 8:13Speaker 1: But I don't know what else to do.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Yeah, well you don't want to put on clothes anyway.
- 8:16Speaker 2: You want to do this in your pajamas.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I know I am in my Yeah, we'd have to
- 8:20Speaker 1: get like dressed and everything, so that way nobody want
- 8:24Speaker 1: to see that. That would suck. But anyways, all right, well
- 8:27Speaker 1: I think that's it. Oh bias a coffee. We really
- 8:31Speaker 1: appreciate everybody who's done that. It's really helping get me
- 8:34Speaker 1: through being tired. I'm not that I am tired. I
- 8:37Speaker 1: normally take a nap in the afternoon, but here because
- 8:39Speaker 1: I've been getting these longer stretches. I've been okay without
- 8:43Speaker 1: a nap, but I did have to take one the
- 8:45Speaker 1: other day. But I just like, I get so busy
- 8:48Speaker 1: and I feel like I just want to do so
- 8:50Speaker 1: many things, like I've been like right now, I'm on
- 8:51Speaker 1: like teaching the kids French and myself learning French. So
- 8:54Speaker 1: then I've been obsessing with I just like start obsessing
- 8:57Speaker 1: about things, and then I'm like, I don't have time
- 8:58Speaker 1: taking a nap. I need to do things. But then
- 9:00Speaker 1: I get tired and I get cranky, and then I
- 9:02Speaker 1: yell at everybody's.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Testify.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Anyways, all right, so that is it. Let's go ahead
- 9:08Speaker 1: and get into this week's episode out of Texas. So
- 9:12Speaker 1: in Ralet Texas do.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Going back to Ralet?
- 9:15Speaker 1: Yes?
- 9:16Speaker 2: Where Darley Rowty you're from.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Darley Darlene Routier yep. In rale At Texas on November thirteenth,
- 9:24Speaker 1: twenty fifteen, Run nine to one one receives a call
- 9:29Speaker 1: from a man saying that he had woken up in
- 9:31Speaker 1: his home that he shared with his sister, his sister's fiance,
- 9:36Speaker 1: and then his sister's three children. So he's the brother anyways,
- 9:42Speaker 1: and he found a woman lying on the kitchen floor
- 9:44Speaker 1: and she appeared to be dead. Now, not knowing what
- 9:48Speaker 1: was going on, the brother, Brian, exited the home to
- 9:51Speaker 1: wait for police because he's like, there's like a dead person,
- 9:54Speaker 1: a dead woman, and he couldn't tell who the one.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I'll just say he couldn't tell who the woman was
- 9:57Speaker 1: on the ground. The police arrive on the scene and
- 10:01Speaker 1: find a woman who appeared to have died from a
- 10:02Speaker 1: single gunshot wound to the head, and they were able
- 10:05Speaker 1: to quickly identify her as thirty seven year old Laura Grillo.
- 10:09Speaker 1: She was quickly identified due to the fact that she
- 10:12Speaker 1: actually had an ID in her hand, which was actually
- 10:16Speaker 1: from the Rlet Police Department because come to find out,
- 10:19Speaker 1: she was a volunteer, so she had had it like
- 10:22Speaker 1: attached to her whatever, so they could they could see
- 10:26Speaker 1: who she was. Now, when looking at the home, investigators
- 10:29Speaker 1: did not see any signs of forced entry and nothing
- 10:31Speaker 1: out of place in any of the rooms except for
- 10:33Speaker 1: the master bedroom. Now, in the master bedroom, there was
- 10:36Speaker 1: a safe that was left open, as well as some
- 10:39Speaker 1: plastic like bins turned over and things were like dumped
- 10:44Speaker 1: out on the.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Bed like somebody was going through them, yes, rummaging.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Yes. So there was also the shell casing was found
- 10:52Speaker 1: line next to Laura and it was from a forty
- 10:54Speaker 1: caliber pistol. Now, so other than these things, nothing else
- 10:58Speaker 1: seemed out of place. The brother there was home during
- 11:01Speaker 1: the murder and so police were like wanted to speak
- 11:04Speaker 1: to him. They're like, how how did you not know
- 11:08Speaker 1: that went off in the house, that a murder was
- 11:10Speaker 1: occurring in the kitchen while you were asleep in the
- 11:13Speaker 1: other room. Well, they did find out that he what
- 11:16Speaker 1: he he was autistic as well as deaf in one ear.
- 11:21Speaker 1: So if he was lying on the side of his head, yes,
- 11:26Speaker 1: then he can't really hear anything, so he would have
- 11:29Speaker 1: just like slept right through it, and so he wouldn't
- 11:32Speaker 1: have heard the gunshot, or if he did, it maybe
- 11:34Speaker 1: would have been very very buffled, so he wouldn't have
- 11:36Speaker 1: maybe you know, popped up and thought something was going
- 11:42Speaker 1: on and then they He also didn't realize it was
- 11:45Speaker 1: his whenever he saw the person, the mother in law.
- 11:48Speaker 1: We'll talk of this later, but the mother in law
- 11:50Speaker 1: was I might mention this yere in a minute, so
- 11:52Speaker 1: if we repeat, do repeat. Sorry, But the mother in
- 11:55Speaker 1: law didn't or she was staying at their house she
- 11:59Speaker 1: happened to be coming to visit, so he actually thought
- 12:01Speaker 1: it might have been the mother in law laying on
- 12:03Speaker 1: the floor dead, Like he didn't know what was going on.
- 12:05Speaker 1: He just woke up, he walks in. He didn't realize
- 12:07Speaker 1: it was his sister to like panic and be like,
- 12:09Speaker 1: oh my gosh. He just all of a sudden sees
- 12:11Speaker 1: this lady that he probably doesn't know very well to visit,
- 12:14Speaker 1: possibly laying on the floor dead, and he's like, I
- 12:16Speaker 1: got to get out of this house. He also is
- 12:17Speaker 1: autistics that might have played into how he would have
- 12:20Speaker 1: responded to the situation and everything like that and he's
- 12:24Speaker 1: deaf in one ear. It's probably very unsettled, like just
- 12:26Speaker 1: a lot going on for him, but they were able
- 12:29Speaker 1: to quickly rule him out. They didn't believe he was
- 12:32Speaker 1: involved with this whatsoever.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Police interview Brian, they find out that it is him.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Brian is the brother, the brother that Karen.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Was talking about, the autistic one that was deaf in
- 12:43Speaker 2: one air. Yes, it is him. His sister, Laura, Laura's fiancee,
- 12:48Speaker 2: John Mackis, and Laura's three children that all lived in
- 12:51Speaker 2: the home, as well as John's mother who was visiting
- 12:54Speaker 2: at the time.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Like I said, I kind of went into that, but yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 1: that's what the situation is. Just to be clear on
- 13:00Speaker 1: who's living it.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Like like Kara said, initially, Brian thought the person on
- 13:05Speaker 2: the floor could be the mother in law, but and
- 13:08Speaker 2: it didn't even register that it could be his own sister.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Laura and John had been together for a few years
- 13:13Speaker 2: and recently got engaged and we're actually planning to wed
- 13:16Speaker 2: in a week. About twenty minutes after investigators arrived, John
- 13:20Speaker 2: shows up at the house with his daughter. He actually
- 13:23Speaker 2: came home because no one had picked up the daughter
- 13:25Speaker 2: from school that day and he was trying to figure
- 13:27Speaker 2: out what the hell is going on.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the daughter was real young, so I
- 13:31Speaker 1: think she was kind of like in one of those
- 13:33Speaker 1: half day kindergartens or whatever pre ks they do full
- 13:37Speaker 1: day kindergarten. Now it's like, yeah, it's crazy. They don't
- 13:39Speaker 1: even do naps. I know, they barely do recess. It's
- 13:43Speaker 1: like fucking prison over there. Again.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I don't know, I just know what you tell me.
- 13:46Speaker 1: So No, it's like rough out theres do for They've
- 13:49Speaker 1: really like they've done it. They've done a number on
- 13:52Speaker 1: these kids.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Yeah, anyways, I could go into back to it, Please
- 13:58Speaker 2: don't back to our story. Investigators asked Brian about who
- 14:02Speaker 2: was in the home, and he listed off everyone. But
- 14:05Speaker 2: what else what stood out to them was that he
- 14:07Speaker 2: did not list Laura is living at the home.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Yeah, they just thought it was weird. He like listed
- 14:12Speaker 1: everybody living at the home except for his sister. Because like, normally,
- 14:17Speaker 1: if you'd be if someone asked me like who was
- 14:19Speaker 1: near me, like, oh, my husband, like you, normally you
- 14:20Speaker 1: would list like I would say that my husband and
- 14:22Speaker 1: our children or whatever, like you normally it's your spouse
- 14:26Speaker 1: or your what whoever is like the first person you
- 14:28Speaker 1: list and then you continue on with their bills. He
- 14:30Speaker 1: just like skipped over her, like, and they just thought
- 14:32Speaker 1: it was odd. But you know, he might have been
- 14:33Speaker 1: in chalk or whatever from finding out. Well, at this point,
- 14:37Speaker 1: I don't think he knew who was was dead in
- 14:40Speaker 1: the home. They were still trying to sort that out
- 14:42Speaker 1: to like before they could just tell him because of
- 14:44Speaker 1: course her ID was on her, but you know, they
- 14:46Speaker 1: need to confirm, like someone else could have drop the
- 14:48Speaker 1: ID on the body and.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Throw police off.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Now at this point they are still trying to confirm
- 14:55Speaker 2: her identity.
- 14:56Speaker 1: As it's like I wrote this or something almost.
- 15:00Speaker 2: So they just said that someone had been shot in
- 15:02Speaker 2: the home. It's what they told him.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Now, investigators they begin canvassing the neighborhood to see if
- 15:07Speaker 1: they could find anyone who witnessed anything. Now, the information
- 15:10Speaker 1: they were able to obtain is that someone did see
- 15:13Speaker 1: Laura around eight ten am entering the home and that
- 15:16Speaker 1: was the last time she was seen alive. They believe
- 15:20Speaker 1: the murder occurred shortly after Laura entered the home. They
- 15:25Speaker 1: also found that out from the crossing guard that he
- 15:27Speaker 1: witnessed John leaving around seven forty five am. Now everyone
- 15:32Speaker 1: that they spoke to, so that would be John left.
- 15:35Speaker 1: The witnesses say John left the house before or was
- 15:40Speaker 1: out of the house before Laura was murdered, because she
- 15:42Speaker 1: came back in the home and then was murdered at
- 15:44Speaker 1: eighten so he was officially gone from the house at
- 15:47Speaker 1: seven forty five. Now, everyone that they spoke to said
- 15:50Speaker 1: that Laura was a great mom and they were just
- 15:52Speaker 1: in complete shock as to how this could happen to her,
- 15:55Speaker 1: as they all are with everybody who's ever been murdered
- 15:58Speaker 1: ever in the hy of all true crime episodes. Now
- 16:04Speaker 1: they bring the brother in and speak to him as
- 16:06Speaker 1: well as fiancee John. Now they asked John what happened
- 16:10Speaker 1: that morning, and he said that he left around seven
- 16:12Speaker 1: forty five, and that Laura left around the same time
- 16:15Speaker 1: to take their daughter to school. So everything's checking out
- 16:17Speaker 1: with what the neighbors saw or the crossing guard saw.
- 16:21Speaker 1: He said he headed up to the home depot to
- 16:23Speaker 1: pick up some supplies for work. He provides the officers
- 16:26Speaker 1: access to his phone with timestance for when he was
- 16:29Speaker 1: like communicating with people and everything. He said that he
- 16:32Speaker 1: went to the home depot and that he met his
- 16:34Speaker 1: two workers, James Valeda and Jesus Trevino, to pick up
- 16:38Speaker 1: some supplies for the day. Now, they ask him about
- 16:41Speaker 1: his relationship with Laura and tells them, you know, everything
- 16:45Speaker 1: was great. I mean they're planning to wed in a week.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Things can't be if things are going rough. I mean
- 16:50Speaker 1: we should probably let raise Goeduly. Yeah, so everything seemed
- 16:55Speaker 1: good with their relationship. They asked John a little bit
- 16:58Speaker 1: more about himself and they found out he's actually from Greece.
- 17:02Speaker 1: He came to America and was married prior to being
- 17:04Speaker 1: with Laura and ended up settling in the Ralet area
- 17:07Speaker 1: where he met Laura. Now, Laura already had so we
- 17:10Speaker 1: like we mentioned she has three children. Well, two of
- 17:12Speaker 1: those children were from a previous relationship, and then John
- 17:16Speaker 1: and her had a daughter of their own together and
- 17:19Speaker 1: then over the years or prior to them getting engaged. Now,
- 17:23Speaker 1: they asked him about the home and if he thought
- 17:25Speaker 1: there would be any motive for someone to hurt Laura.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Like they said, hey, this is what the crime scene showed.
- 17:32Speaker 1: We had this safe, We had these bins jumped out
- 17:35Speaker 1: in the master bedroom kind of tossed, and he said
- 17:37Speaker 1: that there was about nine thousand dollars in the safe,
- 17:40Speaker 1: and he believes that Laura probably interrupted a robbery and
- 17:45Speaker 1: then they shot her. So they release John and go
- 17:49Speaker 1: to look into his story that he was at this
- 17:52Speaker 1: home depot, which would clearly have cameras and everything that
- 17:55Speaker 1: so they should be able to check his story out
- 17:57Speaker 1: and confirm.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Say his workers Sam purchase ones. They contact the home
- 18:02Speaker 2: depot where John said he had gone to, and they
- 18:04Speaker 2: were able to obtain surveillance video showing him shopping. The
- 18:08Speaker 2: two people he said he was with, which was James
- 18:11Speaker 2: and Hazeus, arrived about an hour after John arrived at
- 18:14Speaker 2: the store. So with the video surveillance, they were able
- 18:17Speaker 2: to determine that John did not commit the murder himself,
- 18:21Speaker 2: but they were keeping open the option that he was
- 18:24Speaker 2: somehow involved, maybe paid somebody else to do it, because
- 18:27Speaker 2: there was two guys that showed up an hour later.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Because it possibly because like they have to focus in
- 18:36Speaker 1: on the husband, because you know, the husband always did
- 18:40Speaker 1: It's just the case. But right now his story's checking out.
- 18:44Speaker 2: The story was checking out, but they they got to
- 18:46Speaker 2: make sure he just wasn't, you know, he didn't hire
- 18:50Speaker 2: somebody that he possibly did it. He just wasn't the
- 18:53Speaker 2: actual trigger man. So with the two workers that met
- 18:56Speaker 2: John am I for that entire hour that theyve Laura
- 19:00Speaker 2: was murdered, they began looking into them. They find both
- 19:03Speaker 2: had criminal records involving sexual assault of a child and
- 19:07Speaker 2: one was currently on probation.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Why are they even like out about I don't okay,
- 19:11Speaker 1: why are you at the fucking home depot. I'm pretty
- 19:13Speaker 1: sure there's a chance you could be within one hundred
- 19:15Speaker 1: feet of a child at that place. You know, That's
- 19:17Speaker 1: what I understanding about like sex offenders. You know, they're like, oh,
- 19:20Speaker 1: you can't live within one hundred feet of a school,
- 19:22Speaker 1: you can't live within a hundred feet.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Place during the day. Do whatever you want to do,
- 19:25Speaker 2: but you can go.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Wherever you want to. You can go to Chuck E Cheese.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Or whatever, like hang out there. I was just getting
- 19:31Speaker 2: some pizza your honor.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Yeah. So it's just like, I have no anything for
- 19:36Speaker 1: anybody who has anything to do with children.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Police bring both of them in to question them, and
- 19:42Speaker 2: they both said that they were at a motel room
- 19:44Speaker 2: prior to meeting John at the home depot. They let
- 19:47Speaker 2: James and Hayesus go as they had to obtain their
- 19:51Speaker 2: cell phone records so they could confirm their alibis.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Yeah, because the motel was in Dallas, I believe in
- 19:58Speaker 1: the home depot was in Dallas as well. If you're
- 20:04Speaker 1: wondering what, I don't know if I put that in there,
- 20:06Speaker 1: but maybe I did. Did I not mention that he's
- 20:10Speaker 1: in key works in construction. I think I kind of
- 20:13Speaker 1: remember saying that, not maybe I say it later, But
- 20:16Speaker 1: he works in construction. That's why he's at the home
- 20:17Speaker 1: depot getting supplies.
- 20:18Speaker 2: It's like, that's what I figure. If he's got workers
- 20:20Speaker 2: getting supplies at home deep doing some kind of a
- 20:23Speaker 2: remodel construction work.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Yes, he does construction work. So this is a well
- 20:28Speaker 1: organized podcast, guys, in case you're near here.
- 20:31Speaker 2: This number one in the arts.
- 20:33Speaker 1: This is a well oiled machine cast recorded in our closet.
- 20:38Speaker 1: We might be the number one podcast recorded in Midland, Texas.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Maybe we could be.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I feel like we are.
- 20:45Speaker 2: You don't think there's any other podcast.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I think there are, but I don't think they're like.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I mean, we've been doing this so long. We do
- 20:52Speaker 1: have somewhat of a listener base, and I feel and
- 20:55Speaker 1: it's is it is hard to get podcasts because there's
- 20:57Speaker 1: so many podcasts, and we we really dropped the ball
- 20:59Speaker 1: because we were doing really good and then we stopped
- 21:02Speaker 1: recording them and then pick up.
- 21:06Speaker 2: We really podcast.
- 21:09Speaker 1: We really dropped the ball. What are all the phrases,
- 21:12Speaker 1: dropped the ball, the pooch, you know, things like that.
- 21:17Speaker 1: But we might be the number one podcast here, true
- 21:20Speaker 1: c podcast. Definitely true crime podcast for sure. All right,
- 21:25Speaker 1: So I heard crime junkie records across the street though,
- 21:32Speaker 1: so what damn it? So they were able to quickly
- 21:38Speaker 1: get cell phone records, and those records showed that they
- 21:41Speaker 1: were not at that motel in Dallas. That they were
- 21:44Speaker 1: actually surprised that they actually traveled a rally about the
- 21:47Speaker 1: time that Laura was murdered. See, if he was smart,
- 21:50Speaker 1: he would have went to the home depot and rallet
- 21:52Speaker 1: you know, because then you could have you could have
- 21:55Speaker 1: argued that we ll at yeah, and they got lost
- 22:01Speaker 1: and they didn't have GPS and whatever. Anyway, so they
- 22:05Speaker 1: traveled a roulet about the time that Laura was murdered.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Now with this information, they dive further into Hayesus and
- 22:12Speaker 1: James's social media, where they were able to find a
- 22:15Speaker 1: picture of a woman holding a gun that was the
- 22:18Speaker 1: same caliber used in the murder of Laura. Like, this
- 22:21Speaker 1: woman's like has a mask on and she's holding the
- 22:24Speaker 1: gun up by her face or whatever, just like posing
- 22:26Speaker 1: with it, Like what are we doing? People come on,
- 22:29Speaker 1: what are we doing?
- 22:30Speaker 2: I mean probably with the serial number that they could
- 22:32Speaker 2: read it to.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Anyways, So they find out that the woman holding the
- 22:37Speaker 1: gun X was an ex girlfriend of Hayesus's, So they
- 22:41Speaker 1: bring her in to talk to her about his behavior
- 22:44Speaker 1: and that gun she was holding. Well, she tells police
- 22:48Speaker 1: that she was concerned because a couple of it was
- 22:50Speaker 1: like a couple of months to a year somewhere in
- 22:52Speaker 1: that timeframe before all of this occurred, Hayesus did mention
- 22:57Speaker 1: that his boss was going to pay him to kill
- 23:00Speaker 1: his fiance. Now, the ex girlfriend was concerned enough that
- 23:03Speaker 1: she actually went and filed a police report, which I
- 23:05Speaker 1: was pretty surprised about that because I feel like, if
- 23:07Speaker 1: you're posing on the internet with a gun in a mask,
- 23:10Speaker 1: maybe you don't care about law enforcement or your boyfriend
- 23:13Speaker 1: killing your bosses. Stue, you didn't see the picture. You
- 23:20Speaker 1: didn't see the picture. She had a mask with like
- 23:24Speaker 1: a skull thing picture on it and then she's holding
- 23:27Speaker 1: it right up by her face or whatever, like like
- 23:31Speaker 1: come mess with me. She didn't seem like she really
- 23:34Speaker 1: cared about the police are involving them, or when it
- 23:36Speaker 1: involved the police. And I feel like, if you're Jesus's girlfriend,
- 23:40Speaker 1: he's he's running around, he's.
- 23:42Speaker 2: On the other side of so you're on the other
- 23:45Speaker 2: side of the law with him.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Yeah. So anyway, so the ex girlfriend was concerned, but
- 23:49Speaker 1: thankfully she was concerned, said I didn't give enough credit.
- 23:51Speaker 1: She did file a police report, and so it would
- 23:54Speaker 1: just be on the record that she was told this
- 23:56Speaker 1: and that they need to be a waars. Apparently they
- 23:59Speaker 1: did jack shit with the infra. No, they didn't do
- 24:03Speaker 1: anything with it. But they're busy, I mean.
- 24:06Speaker 2: How basic while they're still investigating the Darley Route here
- 24:09Speaker 2: murder they are. No, I don't know.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Well, I think some people think she didn't do it.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Yes, I'm surprised we haven't got any hate mail about.
- 24:16Speaker 1: That, because there's did we say she did it?
- 24:18Speaker 2: Yeah, we said she's full of shit.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Okay, we should do that one again.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Yeah, there's so long ago hardened defend hers to hers,
- 24:26Speaker 2: they're like, no, she didn't do it. Anybody it says
- 24:28Speaker 2: she did. It's crazy because somebody else snuck in the hand. Yeah,
- 24:31Speaker 2: there's well, it was.
- 24:32Speaker 1: An early episode we did. Maybe we should do it
- 24:34Speaker 1: again and then get some hate mail.
- 24:37Speaker 2: I got to get them clicks. Yeah, I got to
- 24:39Speaker 2: get that engagement. That's how you get more popular.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Yes, I know, Stu told me to stop deleting. Sometimes
- 24:44Speaker 1: people annoy me when I post my recommendations and they'll
- 24:47Speaker 1: be like, you need to talk slow because they say
- 24:50Speaker 1: I talk too fast or whatever. It's like, no, I
- 24:52Speaker 1: don't have much time to keep you guys attention, like literally,
- 24:54Speaker 1: like you guys are just scrolling past shit. Okay, I
- 24:57Speaker 1: have to get the words out of my mouth and
- 24:59Speaker 1: try to keep you engaged for at least five seconds
- 25:02Speaker 1: so I can get credit for this video. So if
- 25:05Speaker 1: you don't, if if you're not familiar with like if
- 25:07Speaker 1: you're on the side of TikTok, I do not make
- 25:09Speaker 1: that much money off like I'm in the Creator Rewards
- 25:12Speaker 1: program now, Like I was trying to get to ten thousand.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I thought I would like make at least a decent
- 25:16Speaker 1: amount of it. But you don't. You don't make any money.
- 25:18Speaker 1: But to get your video pushed out to more people.
- 25:21Speaker 1: You have to get there. There's like different levels of engagement,
- 25:24Speaker 1: Like you have to at least keep them for five seconds.
- 25:27Speaker 1: So my intro is exactly six seconds, but I say
- 25:30Speaker 1: it real fast. And then I always post the name
- 25:33Speaker 1: of the show and where you can watch it. And
- 25:34Speaker 1: then every time there's always someone can you at least
- 25:37Speaker 1: post a name of the show and weird watching? I
- 25:39Speaker 1: can't find this anywhere or whatever, And I just want
- 25:41Speaker 1: to like be like fuck you and the block them,
- 25:43Speaker 1: and the STU told me not to. He said, just
- 25:46Speaker 1: let them get into it with people, and yes, so
- 25:50Speaker 1: that it can help my engagement. But I get sensitive
- 25:52Speaker 1: and I'm just like.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Yes you do.
- 25:55Speaker 1: I do. I'm like, I don't need this stress of
- 25:58Speaker 1: my life.
- 25:59Speaker 2: You made enough money on the TikTok that we could
- 26:01Speaker 2: actually go to the movies, take everybody and get concessions.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Are pay for it. I don't think pay for a
- 26:07Speaker 2: movie and get well, I'm in here at the house.
- 26:09Speaker 2: We could buy it a streaming movie, buy the.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Popcorn, not that one movie I wanted though, whenever I
- 26:14Speaker 1: turned it on and realized it was twenty dollars to rent,
- 26:16Speaker 1: it was that one. I wanted to watch The Housemaid
- 26:19Speaker 1: or whatever and Mountain It's it's based on a book
- 26:24Speaker 1: you wouldn't know anyway, So I went to go rent it,
- 26:28Speaker 1: and it was twenty dollars to rent. I was like, man,
- 26:31Speaker 1: and I understand, I'm at home and like, you know,
- 26:32Speaker 1: you get up. Multiple people watch it, but I'm alone.
- 26:35Speaker 1: So that's twenty dollars just for me to watch it.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I don't even own it, so anyway, So no, it
- 26:40Speaker 1: depends on what movie like maybe maybe like Shrek two,
- 26:45Speaker 1: where we already pay for a streaming service and so
- 26:47Speaker 1: it's free and then we buy a box of popcorn
- 26:51Speaker 1: and some Eminem's for seven dollars total. Then I've made
- 26:55Speaker 1: enough on TikTok to a cover on.
- 26:56Speaker 2: All your TikTok proceeds.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Anyways, that like.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Them girls that are thinking they're going to make millions
- 27:02Speaker 2: on OnlyFans and make like two hundred dollars, I.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Know that's like they don't even make two hundred dollars
- 27:07Speaker 1: a month, some of them. I watched one where she
- 27:09Speaker 1: made like she runs her life for like nothing.
- 27:13Speaker 2: She was doing telling weird doing some weird fetish.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Stuff and yeah, yeah, anyway, anybody found out we've gotten destructed.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Is it it's your turn? Right?
- 27:23Speaker 2: Yes?
- 27:24Speaker 1: Okay, I believe so okay, are you ready or no?
- 27:28Speaker 2: Yes, I'm ready? Okay, go on with this information. Police
- 27:32Speaker 2: believe they have enough to know that John was behind
- 27:35Speaker 2: this and that he hired his to employ Ease to
- 27:38Speaker 2: execute Laura, but at this point they had no solid evidence.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Right now, it's all just circumstantial. The workers are in Riolette,
- 27:45Speaker 2: they work for John, YadA YadA, so they are able
- 27:49Speaker 2: to get a search warrant for James's motel room. They
- 27:53Speaker 2: do believe that James did not pull the trigger. They
- 27:56Speaker 2: believe that Hayeseus did the dirty work and that James.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Was just the driver, which which is funny because normally
- 28:01Speaker 1: it's uh, Jesus takes them.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Jesus takes the wheel. Haesus takes the wheel. Were you
- 28:07Speaker 2: just waiting all this time to make that?
- 28:09Speaker 1: No, it just came to be that James with the driver,
- 28:11Speaker 1: But normally Hayesus takes the whine.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Maybe Haesus took the wheel when they left. Maybe James said,
- 28:17Speaker 2: Haesus take the wheel, cracking yourself up. Yes, Police searched
- 28:28Speaker 2: his motel room and they found a backpack with latex
- 28:30Speaker 2: gloves and a burner phone, as well as some marri
- 28:33Speaker 2: Johanna the Old Devils let us. James, despite being confronted
- 28:38Speaker 2: by police, was sticking to his same story. So at
- 28:42Speaker 2: this point they decided to arrest him for possession of
- 28:44Speaker 2: the marijuana and bring him in to see if they
- 28:47Speaker 2: could make him confess and save himself.
- 28:50Speaker 1: See this is where I like, I think, like petty
- 28:52Speaker 1: drug crimes are done, but then I'm like, sometimes it's
- 28:55Speaker 1: like we need them sometimes so we can get the
- 28:57Speaker 1: murderers off, get the murder off the train. It's like
- 29:00Speaker 1: whenever they were you know someone's doing something, then they
- 29:03Speaker 1: don't use a blinker like, oh we can get you
- 29:04Speaker 1: for that. We're actually because they were following you to
- 29:06Speaker 1: see if you like killed somebody or whatever, and they
- 29:09Speaker 1: just needed a reason to bring you in.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Or the guy that's jaywalking with a body bag and
- 29:13Speaker 2: they're like, oh he's jay walking, let's go look on
- 29:15Speaker 2: that body bag.
- 29:15Speaker 1: And yeah, yes, improper surgencies.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Despite being arrested, James stuck to his story. Meanwhile, John
- 29:24Speaker 2: the fiance is going out and speaking to the media
- 29:28Speaker 2: saying that he wants to solve the murder of his
- 29:30Speaker 2: fiance always do this, well, yes, you got to.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Look at all what's his face?
- 29:36Speaker 2: Ben Affleck?
- 29:37Speaker 1: Oh, why Ben Affleck?
- 29:39Speaker 2: Didn't he kill his wife? Stabber Ben Affleck in the
- 29:44Speaker 2: movie the actor in the.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Movie, Oh, gone Girl, Yes he did. No, he did not.
- 29:49Speaker 1: She faked her own death to get back at him
- 29:51Speaker 1: and then reappeared. And then that was that.
- 29:54Speaker 2: One burst the Scott Peterson thing, wasn't it.
- 29:56Speaker 1: No, No, I was going to say Scott Peterson was
- 30:00Speaker 1: out there talking, but the Gone Girl caused I don't
- 30:03Speaker 1: know if I just hit myself in the.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Head inspired by Scott petersonthing.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Now, No, she just wrote a book, a great book,
- 30:10Speaker 1: by the way, great book. Did not see that twist
- 30:13Speaker 1: coming whenever it happened, my twist that she was faking
- 30:18Speaker 1: her death. If no, I'm not spoiling it for anybody.
- 30:21Speaker 1: If you haven't read it now or watched the movie,
- 30:22Speaker 1: then it's like been ten years. Okay, we can only
- 30:27Speaker 1: do spoiler. The Titanic seeks like too soon, Kara soon. Anyways,
- 30:33Speaker 1: they always go and talk to the media.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Anyway, police he's out there talking about the talking to
- 30:39Speaker 2: the media, saying we want to find her, like Ojay
- 30:41Speaker 2: was touring the golf courses of America looking for the killer.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Well, because this was a popular case too, because remember
- 30:46Speaker 1: they're suposed to get married in a week, So this
- 30:48Speaker 1: has got an extra element added to it that she
- 30:50Speaker 1: was his life. Yeah, she was a volunteer for the
- 30:53Speaker 1: police department. He was also a volunteer for the police department.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Like there was added layers to this.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Now even though he's out there, police believe that he
- 31:03Speaker 2: is clearly the one that is behind her murder. At
- 31:06Speaker 2: this point, John is free, James is in jail, and
- 31:09Speaker 2: Hayesus well, Hayesus is on the run.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Hayesus took the wheel.
- 31:13Speaker 2: It would take about four months, but they were finally
- 31:16Speaker 2: able to track down Hayzus and bring him in. So
- 31:19Speaker 2: when they bring in the Texas Ranger James Holland to
- 31:23Speaker 2: interview all three to see if he can get one
- 31:25Speaker 2: of these people to crack, because that's what they needed
- 31:28Speaker 2: for a confession. Is one of them just one of
- 31:30Speaker 2: them to turn on the other two?
- 31:32Speaker 1: Yes, this is from an episode I watched an episode
- 31:35Speaker 1: of So if you haven't seen it, it's a new series,
- 31:40Speaker 1: was a limited series, and there's this Texas Ranger named
- 31:43Speaker 1: James Slash Jim Holland I think. Anyways, he's known for
- 31:48Speaker 1: like getting people to confess to crimes and stuff. So anyways,
- 31:51Speaker 1: he does it. So he was brought in on this case.
- 31:54Speaker 1: So it's called Texas Killer can fashions the case files
- 32:02Speaker 1: of a Texas Ranger. So anyways, there's like eight episodes.
- 32:04Speaker 1: I think I've suggested some of them on there. I
- 32:06Speaker 1: suggested this one. It's called the Weakest Link anyway, So yeah,
- 32:09Speaker 1: they brought him in to see if he could like
- 32:10Speaker 1: crack these people because James was their week. James was
- 32:13Speaker 1: there there in because they believed Hayesus shot her and
- 32:18Speaker 1: they believe John paid to do it. So James was
- 32:21Speaker 1: kind of like this guy that they thought, like, why
- 32:23Speaker 1: aren't you turning on these fuckers like get year business day? Yes,
- 32:28Speaker 1: like you're there, You're our best bet is to to
- 32:31Speaker 1: turn on.
- 32:32Speaker 2: To turn loose on the streets.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Yeah, So, like I said, that's why he went ahead
- 32:37Speaker 1: the Texas Ranger. He goes ahead and he starts with
- 32:39Speaker 1: James because he feels like he was just the driver
- 32:41Speaker 1: and that he should be the one that should break. Well.
- 32:45Speaker 1: After several hours, he finally, because he did just stick
- 32:47Speaker 1: to his story the whole time, and he the uh,
- 32:50Speaker 1: the James Holland guy was like, you know, Hayesus is
- 32:52Speaker 1: a dumbass, you know how much. He's just like an idiot.
- 32:54Speaker 1: He sets you up everything like this, trying to get
- 32:57Speaker 1: him to be like, hey, this is not your friend,
- 32:59Speaker 1: this is not your buddy, Like why do you care
- 33:01Speaker 1: about this guy? You don't even hardly know him, Like
- 33:03Speaker 1: what were.
- 33:03Speaker 2: You think He's gonna ask you to be the godfather
- 33:05Speaker 2: of his children?
- 33:06Speaker 1: Yeah? So so finally James breaks down after several hours
- 33:10Speaker 1: of talking to the detective and says that Jesus had
- 33:12Speaker 1: offered him some work just three weeks prior, and that
- 33:15Speaker 1: he did mention this thing about his his boss wanting
- 33:17Speaker 1: him to murder his fiance, just casual you in, So
- 33:26Speaker 1: James didn't think anything of it, Like, what what are
- 33:29Speaker 1: we doing with our lives? People, Let's pick new friends. Okay,
- 33:32Speaker 1: he didn't think anything of it, and so, uh, he
- 33:36Speaker 1: was just yeah, he just thought he was just talking.
- 33:40Speaker 1: And then that morning he had him drive to the home.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Well he didn't really go and he probably didn't want
- 33:46Speaker 1: to implicate himself anymore. But he didn't really go and
- 33:48Speaker 1: tell detail. He just said he didn't say drink wild,
- 33:52Speaker 1: I said detail. Okay. Anyway, he didn't want to say
- 33:57Speaker 1: too much, I think, but he said, you know that
- 33:58Speaker 1: he had me drive from to his home her their home,
- 34:02Speaker 1: but he wasn't thinking that much of it. So James
- 34:04Speaker 1: said he stayed in the car and whenever Hayeseus came
- 34:08Speaker 1: back out, all he said was let's go. So James
- 34:11Speaker 1: drives him back. He said that after He's like, well
- 34:13Speaker 1: did he start talking? Did he say anything about what
- 34:16Speaker 1: happened anything at that And he said after they were
- 34:18Speaker 1: driving for a little bit, he did start talking, saying
- 34:20Speaker 1: that she was scared and that she actually tried to
- 34:23Speaker 1: run whenever he shot her in the head. So now
- 34:26Speaker 1: they have a confession stating that about Jesus's involvement. But
- 34:30Speaker 1: they need information, more information to talk because now it's
- 34:33Speaker 1: just these two people that happened to know John. I mean,
- 34:36Speaker 1: because John could play it off like, oh, well they
- 34:38Speaker 1: ran in and sotold they oh I told him about
- 34:40Speaker 1: the safe, They knew the code, they went in and
- 34:41Speaker 1: killed my fiance.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Stole that money, they knew how to say that.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Yes, so they need to tie John into this directly.
- 34:50Speaker 1: So he starts talking about John and he said, well,
- 34:54Speaker 1: how did John react whenever you guys showed up to
- 34:57Speaker 1: the store, And he said that John didn't ask for
- 34:59Speaker 1: any d.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Tells drank cars. You're really jesus.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Jesus, hey, Jesus. Yes, he said that John didn't ask
- 35:12Speaker 1: for really any details. He just told him to shut
- 35:15Speaker 1: up and keep it quiet. So obviously he's like, yeah, now,
- 35:20Speaker 1: James said that he was the one behind. James said
- 35:24Speaker 1: John was the one behind the hit and that he
- 35:26Speaker 1: was going to pay them fifteen thousand dollars. Well, the
- 35:28Speaker 1: detective asked James how much he received and he said nothing.
- 35:32Speaker 1: So the detective asked what happened to So he's did
- 35:35Speaker 1: all this and he didn't game much. So he says, well,
- 35:38Speaker 1: what happened to the gun? And he said, well, he
- 35:41Speaker 1: started hayesus started taking apart the gun. He put it
- 35:44Speaker 1: in a black bag and they pulled up to like
- 35:46Speaker 1: this random gas station and they threw it out, and
- 35:48Speaker 1: he said he couldn't remember the name of the gas station,
- 35:50Speaker 1: but he could take them to that area where they
- 35:52Speaker 1: could look, which eventually he did. They couldn't find the
- 35:55Speaker 1: gun obviously, because it's been like four months. It's been months,
- 36:00Speaker 1: so they couldn't find it. I'm sure it was like
- 36:03Speaker 1: a hole in the wall gas stations. There probably wasn't
- 36:05Speaker 1: any cameras or anything like that anyway, So they go
- 36:08Speaker 1: to look forward and everything. They couldn't find him. They
- 36:12Speaker 1: asked if there was anything else that was disposed of,
- 36:14Speaker 1: and he said that he was. That Haesus was like
- 36:17Speaker 1: taking off his clothes, and he described the clothes he's
- 36:19Speaker 1: throwing him out the window along this path. And so
- 36:22Speaker 1: the police were able to actually go search that path,
- 36:24Speaker 1: and even though it'd been four months, it's out there
- 36:26Speaker 1: on the side of an interstate or highway, and they
- 36:29Speaker 1: actually were able to find like the black hoodie and
- 36:32Speaker 1: like a shoe and stuff like that. So they were
- 36:34Speaker 1: able to corroborate some of his story based on the
- 36:37Speaker 1: articles of clothing they found on the side of the highway.
- 36:41Speaker 2: With this information, they bring John back in and they
- 36:43Speaker 2: talk to him. Of course, John sticks to the story
- 36:46Speaker 2: that he didn't pay anybody to do this. The detective
- 36:50Speaker 2: tells him all the information that they have and that
- 36:52Speaker 2: they have someone in that group saying that he was
- 36:55Speaker 2: behind it, and This is when John asked to speak
- 36:58Speaker 2: to a lawyer. They also bring in Hazeus and he
- 37:02Speaker 2: immediately ASTs for an attorney as well. After they have
- 37:05Speaker 2: all three parties in custody, they were able to determine
- 37:09Speaker 2: that John and Laura were not as happy as people thought,
- 37:12Speaker 2: and that Laura had actually threatened to leave John and
- 37:15Speaker 2: take the kids to another state. Well, this happened to
- 37:19Speaker 2: John prior with his ex wife and their kids, and
- 37:22Speaker 2: he didn't want this to happen again with Laura. In
- 37:27Speaker 2: the end, John and Hazus went on trial and were
- 37:29Speaker 2: found guilty of murder and were sentenced to life in
- 37:32Speaker 2: prison without the possibility of parole. James went ahead and
- 37:36Speaker 2: confessed to murder and was sentenced to twenty five years
- 37:39Speaker 2: in prison.
- 37:40Speaker 1: He was I feel like he was was sentenced for
- 37:44Speaker 1: a lot of years for being the driver or whatever,
- 37:47Speaker 1: but since he had, like the sexual assaults on a
- 37:49Speaker 1: child or I don't care. So yes, I don't care anymore.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Before I was like, you know, but I don't have
- 37:56Speaker 1: any he's good. I don't want him out of jail.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Was he eighteen and she was seventeen, Well, we don't know,
- 38:00Speaker 2: we don't know. I like thirty and he or she
- 38:04Speaker 2: was five.
- 38:05Speaker 1: I don't know, Stu. I didn't look into all the details, right, Yeah,
- 38:09Speaker 1: I mean I understand there's some situations where we're like, oh,
- 38:11Speaker 1: he was eighteen, she was seventeen, the parents got mad,
- 38:13Speaker 1: we get like they can run people's lives like that.
- 38:16Speaker 1: But I don't feel like that was their situation.
- 38:18Speaker 2: So now he probably should have not been out to
- 38:22Speaker 2: be drive.
- 38:23Speaker 1: My guessing it would be like he was probably like
- 38:25Speaker 1: twenty eight and she was fourteen. It seems like that
- 38:27Speaker 1: type of situation, So I can't confirm, though I don't
- 38:30Speaker 1: want to get sued, so I don't know.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't need James soon was from buying bus
- 38:35Speaker 2: so allegedly.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Allegedly, we don't know. Anyways, either way, terrible people, all
- 38:40Speaker 1: of them, all three of them, a terrible poor Laura gone,
- 38:43Speaker 1: and then she's got these three children now that don't
- 38:45Speaker 1: have their mother and their father. The father of the
- 38:48Speaker 1: one is in jail. So anyways, that is our case.
- 38:53Speaker 2: Had a rowlet had a rally at Texas.
- 38:56Speaker 1: There's a lot of stitchy things.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Happen in rallt chicna fuck going on?
- 39:01Speaker 1: What are you talking about to do? Over here is
- 39:02Speaker 1: a ship show. You saw that thing over in Odessa
- 39:05Speaker 1: where the teenager. Oh, we talked about that. The teenager
- 39:09Speaker 1: killed the mom and the sibling. The teenager had a girlfriend.
- 39:16Speaker 1: He came over to confront the girlfriend and she wasn't home,
- 39:19Speaker 1: but the mom and like one of the the younger
- 39:21Speaker 1: sibling was home and he killed the mom, and the
- 39:24Speaker 1: younger sibling just shot him. Yeah, he's gonna he was
- 39:31Speaker 1: a teenager. He's going to be tried as an adult though.
- 39:33Speaker 2: I was reading in Life. Yeah, like in Youngsville they
- 39:35Speaker 2: had that murder suicide.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they did. That was terrible.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Yeah, they were gonna go to Disney or come back.
- 39:43Speaker 1: From They just came back from Disney, I think. Or
- 39:45Speaker 1: they were going to Disney. They had booked their Disney
- 39:49Speaker 1: vacation or whatever. And it was the new wife and their.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Six year old.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Was it their six year old or I thought that
- 39:59Speaker 1: was the It was from the previous relationship or something
- 40:03Speaker 1: like that.
- 40:04Speaker 2: And then he had a daughter that.
- 40:06Speaker 1: It wasn't that they had a biological daughter together, but
- 40:08Speaker 1: this was the child that he killed, was not It
- 40:11Speaker 1: was either just the moms or I think it was
- 40:14Speaker 1: the moms and her exes, so it was his step son.
- 40:19Speaker 2: And there was another one in Karen Crowe just a
- 40:21Speaker 2: couple weeks ago.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Oh, I didn't see that one.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Ill thinking a strange boyfriend showed up with the house
- 40:28Speaker 2: killed her. I think she had a restrain in order
- 40:30Speaker 2: on him.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Ye people are crazy.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Yeah anyways, So.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Speaking of crazy crazy, do you.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Have a yell? That's why we just stay home. But
- 40:41Speaker 1: then we don't.
- 40:43Speaker 2: That's why we got a yell. Need Jesus as a
- 40:45Speaker 2: palate cleanser at the end, Yes, for all this shit show?
- 40:48Speaker 2: Are you ready for this?
- 40:49Speaker 1: I'm ready? Are you ready?
- 40:52Speaker 2: I'm ready? I feel like it from one O one
- 40:55Speaker 2: w r IF Dave and Chuck the freak idiot. I'm
- 41:00Speaker 2: gonna o the day. October eighteenth, twenty twenty three, Kara
- 41:05Speaker 2: police officer investigates rocking car, finds man getting intimate with
- 41:12Speaker 2: Do you want to take a guess?
- 41:14Speaker 1: Oh?
- 41:15Speaker 2: Raccoon stuffed animal?
- 41:16Speaker 1: Ew Oh, he's a They're they're called plushies. So sexual.
- 41:23Speaker 1: There's furries. Which the only reason I know this.
- 41:26Speaker 2: Is because you're into it. What?
- 41:29Speaker 1: No, I read a book and one of the.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Reading No, it was a book.
- 41:37Speaker 1: They were like little like fun like mystery thrillers or whatever.
- 41:40Speaker 1: And the second book in the series, it was like
- 41:43Speaker 1: this whole thing about like, uh, it was funny because
- 41:46Speaker 1: like they were going to the guys he like killed
- 41:49Speaker 1: himself or whatever. Fun he like like killed himself. But
- 41:55Speaker 1: then they were like did he really comes up? So
- 41:57Speaker 1: then it's like basically this mystery, right, this mystery writer
- 42:01Speaker 1: and she you know, was trying to solve these she
- 42:04Speaker 1: has she's dating a pi and she goes try to
- 42:06Speaker 1: solve this. So she goes in. They see all these
- 42:08Speaker 1: like stuffed animals everywhere in the guy's house because she
- 42:12Speaker 1: went and saw his sister to get access to the
- 42:14Speaker 1: house to see she could find some clues about like
- 42:15Speaker 1: what happened anyway. The author's Kira Davis. It was a
- 42:19Speaker 1: long time ago. Ride these anyways. It's real good, real good.
- 42:21Speaker 1: But at least the first like four really good books.
- 42:23Speaker 1: The rest of them kind of like go downhill away.
- 42:26Speaker 1: She walks in, there's like these stuffed animals all over
- 42:28Speaker 1: the back, and they're like look, they're saying, and then
- 42:31Speaker 1: they're looking through his uh internet history, and she didn't
- 42:36Speaker 1: know anything about these plushy people and so her friend
- 42:39Speaker 1: was with her, and her friend owns a sex shop,
- 42:41Speaker 1: and she's like, oh, yeah, they're plushies. And she's like,
- 42:43Speaker 1: what's a plushy. She's like, you know those old stuff
- 42:45Speaker 1: anibal I keep next time, I keep those in stock
- 42:46Speaker 1: just for the plushies. She's like, what's the plushies? And
- 42:49Speaker 1: she's like, they're the ones that have sex with the
- 42:50Speaker 1: stuffed anibles.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Like she's like, oh my god.
- 42:54Speaker 1: There's like stuffed animals.
- 42:55Speaker 2: She's like, what did.
- 42:56Speaker 1: They do to Winnie the Pooh? What stuff?
- 42:59Speaker 2: Right?
- 43:00Speaker 1: Yeah, So anyways, and then furry, but in that same
- 43:05Speaker 1: lineup we had the plushies in the furries. The furries
- 43:08Speaker 1: are the ones that dress up like the just animals mascots. Yeah,
- 43:15Speaker 1: and they go to these furry conventions.
- 43:17Speaker 2: And stuff and one just lifts their tail up and
- 43:19Speaker 2: lets the other one.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Yeah. So anyways, go on. That's what I know about those.
- 43:26Speaker 2: If you have sex with somebody that if you saw
- 43:28Speaker 2: them out of their costume, they don't care, but.
- 43:32Speaker 1: You don't know, that's not what they don't care what
- 43:35Speaker 1: they look like.
- 43:35Speaker 2: They just want to know, just like putting your penis
- 43:37Speaker 2: in a glory hole.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Are you dressed and look like Elmo. Okay, stop, Oh
- 43:40Speaker 1: my god, can we just move on from this? Florida, Notida, Florida, Florida.
- 43:46Speaker 2: A deputy in Baxter County, Arkansas noticed some suspicious activity
- 43:50Speaker 2: coming from a parked car. The deputy saw that the
- 43:53Speaker 2: car was rocking in a strange manner. Where was it
- 43:57Speaker 2: Baxter County, Arkansas?
- 43:59Speaker 1: Oh? Oh yeah, Arkansas. Seems like it would be, you think.
- 44:04Speaker 2: According to reports, when the officer investigated the bizarre movement,
- 44:07Speaker 2: he allegedly found fifty five year old Theodore more Gavin
- 44:12Speaker 2: the Third having some intimate time with a stuffed animal.
- 44:17Speaker 2: During a search of the vehicle, a purse was found
- 44:19Speaker 2: that allegedly contained drug paraphernalia and three grams of myth. Myth.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Thank god we didn't. We almost named this baby. I
- 44:29Speaker 1: want to name him Theodore.
- 44:30Speaker 2: I did.
- 44:31Speaker 1: I like the name Theo. But thank god.
- 44:33Speaker 2: After this, more Gavin was charged with two counts of
- 44:36Speaker 2: possession of a controlled substance, public sexual indecency, possession of
- 44:42Speaker 2: drug paraphernalia, and more. When in court, more Gavin entered
- 44:46Speaker 2: a plea up, not guilty and is it due back
- 44:50Speaker 2: in December? It is not what. It is not known
- 44:53Speaker 2: what became of the stuffed animal or if it has
- 44:56Speaker 2: since been cleaned.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Oh, that's why you should not buy used animals from
- 45:00Speaker 1: the good Will. Guys, we don't know.
- 45:02Speaker 2: I don't even know if you can donate them. You
- 45:05Speaker 2: do them?
- 45:05Speaker 1: No, you can now, because whenever I've been into the
- 45:08Speaker 1: good Will, there are stuffed animals. There's a lot of
- 45:10Speaker 1: things that I thought you couldn't donate. I thought you
- 45:11Speaker 1: couldn't donate like things like that. But you can.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Yeah, because you can't even trust that because there was
- 45:18Speaker 2: that what that teacher that had that boyfriend and he
- 45:21Speaker 2: was like pleasuring himself into the cookie dough or whatever,
- 45:25Speaker 2: and she was bringing it to the students at school. No,
- 45:28Speaker 2: I don't know about that happened.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Okay, this has gone really rough. Okay, all right, I
- 45:35Speaker 1: was gonna do. I was going to add a to
- 45:37Speaker 1: lighten the tone from whatever the fuck stud just introduced
- 45:40Speaker 1: us to.
- 45:42Speaker 2: I don't think he was a plushy. I think he
- 45:44Speaker 2: was just fucked up on meth and he was like, hey,
- 45:46Speaker 2: coimere stuffed animal.
- 45:47Speaker 1: He's an accidental plushy.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Accidental plushy. I believe.
- 45:52Speaker 1: I was gonna do. I was going to start doing
- 45:54Speaker 1: this each week because I do. I do read a
- 45:56Speaker 1: lot of books, and I was going to start updating
- 45:58Speaker 1: in case because we do have a lot of people
- 46:00Speaker 1: that read that listen to our podcasts to I know
- 46:02Speaker 1: you're not one of them, but well you don't listen
- 46:04Speaker 1: to our podcast either. But I was gonna do a
- 46:07Speaker 1: little update, so just quickly. I didn't prepare anything for this,
- 46:10Speaker 1: so I just have to go off the top of
- 46:11Speaker 1: my head. So in the last week I finished the
- 46:14Speaker 1: book The Wedding People, and I highly recommend it so quickly.
- 46:19Speaker 1: It is about this woman she goes to she books
- 46:23Speaker 1: she's divorced. She books a hotel out in Newport, Rhode Island,
- 46:28Speaker 1: and I thought it was like a romantic like a
- 46:31Speaker 1: rom com type book, just based on the cover. But
- 46:33Speaker 1: it's not. So she books herself out there and she
- 46:35Speaker 1: doesn't take any luck because she's playing on killing herself.
- 46:38Speaker 1: So she goes out there to kill herself in this
- 46:40Speaker 1: fancy hotel that she'd always wanted to stay at. All. Right,
- 46:43Speaker 1: so she's at this hotel and she is shut up.
- 46:46Speaker 1: She's at this hotel. She didn't bring any luggage. She
- 46:49Speaker 1: just brought this one fancy dress that she was gonna
- 46:51Speaker 1: wear She was ready to just end it all. She's
- 46:52Speaker 1: like forty years old or whatever. So she's a professor.
- 46:56Speaker 1: She's kind of quirky podcast no anyway, So she goes there, well,
- 47:02Speaker 1: she's in the and so since she's decided to end
- 47:05Speaker 1: it all, she's kind of just being more her authentic cell.
- 47:08Speaker 1: She just saying whatever is on her mind. She's like,
- 47:10Speaker 1: fuck it, what does that matter, I don't know who
- 47:13Speaker 1: that is.
- 47:14Speaker 2: It was a movie about a senator running for reelection
- 47:16Speaker 2: and he had cancer, maybe brain cancer, and he's just
- 47:19Speaker 2: like telling the constituent, you know, you don't vote for Mary.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Yeah, So that's where she's at. She's like, I'm going
- 47:25Speaker 1: to end it. I've chosen in this. I'm done. I
- 47:27Speaker 1: don't care anymore. I'm just going to be more myself,
- 47:30Speaker 1: which in the end is what helped her not anyway.
- 47:33Speaker 1: So I'm not gonna give too much away. But she
- 47:36Speaker 1: meets she meets the so she gets in the elevator
- 47:39Speaker 1: and so then we have this bride and so she's
- 47:41Speaker 1: the only person there that's not part of the wedding
- 47:44Speaker 1: because the wedding, the whole hotel was supposed to be rented out,
- 47:46Speaker 1: but they made a mistake and they let her book
- 47:48Speaker 1: this room. So the whole, the whole, everybody there at
- 47:52Speaker 1: this hotel, this fancy hotel. Now are the wedding people,
- 47:55Speaker 1: which is why it's called the wedding. Yes, So the
- 47:57Speaker 1: bride's there, you know, she's like this perfect bride, She's
- 47:59Speaker 1: got the perfect smile and everything that. Oh, like everything's
- 48:02Speaker 1: perfect and everything. She goes in. It's upon the elevator
- 48:04Speaker 1: with this girl and she's like, oh, do I know you?
- 48:06Speaker 1: And she's like she's like no. She's like, shouldn't you
- 48:08Speaker 1: know everybody who's at your wedding. She's like, oh no,
- 48:10Speaker 1: I have a big family, like we've rented the whole
- 48:12Speaker 1: place out. She's like, no, I'm not part of You
- 48:14Speaker 1: don't know me at all. She's like, well, what are
- 48:15Speaker 1: you doing here? She's like, oh, I'm here to kill myself.
- 48:17Speaker 1: She's like, you can't kill yourself. This is my perfect wedding.
- 48:21Speaker 1: I can't. We have the whole play it's a six
- 48:23Speaker 1: day wedding. And she's like, who has a wedding for
- 48:25Speaker 1: six days? Stuff?
- 48:26Speaker 2: Like us with money they run it out a whole
- 48:28Speaker 2: hotel anyway.
- 48:30Speaker 1: So then she's like you can't run my so the
- 48:31Speaker 1: bride's coming from the thing like you're gonna have to
- 48:33Speaker 1: wait and kill yourself, like at a different time, like
- 48:35Speaker 1: you can't do this, like look at my dress, like
- 48:37Speaker 1: you can do this to me. So anyways, so then
- 48:40Speaker 1: they strike up like a So anyways, it's just really
- 48:42Speaker 1: the the it's a funny. It's kind of a funny story.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Watch that movie anyway. So it was, and the characters
- 48:48Speaker 1: were pretty quirky and stuff and pretty funny and everything.
- 48:51Speaker 1: So I read that one and then I've finished. Today,
- 48:54Speaker 1: I've been reading the the unselected journal journals of Emma
- 48:59Speaker 1: in allions, and she is like from I can't remember
- 49:02Speaker 1: the year, it's like the eighteen hundreds, like eighteen ninety
- 49:07Speaker 1: seven or something. That might be the wrong year, but
- 49:10Speaker 1: she has like so it's a real quick reads because
- 49:13Speaker 1: it's each day. It's just her journal entry Today sucked.
- 49:16Speaker 1: So this is day one. So this is the first one.
- 49:20Speaker 1: There's like eight I think there's gonna be ten totals.
- 49:22Speaker 1: So the first one was day I don't remember the year,
- 49:25Speaker 1: so don't quote me, but it's from a long time ago.
- 49:27Speaker 1: So basically she is this she's twenty years old, her dad.
- 49:33Speaker 1: The premise of its due the promise if you will,
- 49:37Speaker 1: or the premise if you're not fancy, is that she
- 49:41Speaker 1: has come back to London because she her dad had
- 49:44Speaker 1: a home in London and her cousin was supposed to
- 49:47Speaker 1: be overseeing it until she turns twenty one. Well, so
- 49:51Speaker 1: she gets there, Well, her cousin doesn't like her, and
- 49:53Speaker 1: so they're like always going at it or whatever. But
- 49:55Speaker 1: she's actually the owner of the home, but he's allowed
- 49:58Speaker 1: to live there until he dies and then he's over
- 50:01Speaker 1: the estate till she's twenty one. So anyways, it just
- 50:03Speaker 1: starts her journals and all these characters, and it's just
- 50:05Speaker 1: like at first it was slow. I had a hard
- 50:07Speaker 1: time getting into it, but then afterwards I was like,
- 50:08Speaker 1: oh I really, I'm like we started getting more into
- 50:10Speaker 1: the characters and seeing her personality, so it was really good.
- 50:13Speaker 1: So I finished it. I started like a month ago
- 50:16Speaker 1: and then I finally finished a but I finished it
- 50:18Speaker 1: quickly over the last couple of days because but it's
- 50:20Speaker 1: like real easy to read because each date is like short,
- 50:23Speaker 1: so if you only have a little bit of time,
- 50:24Speaker 1: you can and you can jump back in real fast.
- 50:26Speaker 1: So I finished that one, and then currently I'm listening
- 50:31Speaker 1: to a Showgirl's Rules for Falling in Love, so I'm
- 50:39Speaker 1: listening to that one on audiobook. I also have the
- 50:42Speaker 1: physical copy, so sometimes I switch between reading and listening
- 50:46Speaker 1: or whatever, and I think that's it. There's others, but
- 50:51Speaker 1: those are the two main ones that I just like finished.
- 50:53Speaker 1: In the last little bit I did finish. I did
- 50:59Speaker 1: read Freedom Make in his new book Dear Debbie, which
- 51:02Speaker 1: I thought was good to I did like that one.
- 51:04Speaker 1: And then I also liked My Husband's Wife by Alice Feenie.
- 51:07Speaker 1: I read that one in the last I've been reading
- 51:09Speaker 1: a lot because I sit here with the baby, I
- 51:11Speaker 1: try to read why Pump instead of doom scrolling.
- 51:14Speaker 2: I just walked in the closet and caught you doom
- 51:16Speaker 2: scrolling after I check on the bag.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Oh, I was, Yes, I was doomstrolling because I was
- 51:20Speaker 1: waiting for you to get back I read. I wasn't
- 51:23Speaker 1: doom scrolling technically, I was reading comments. Doom Scrolling is
- 51:26Speaker 1: just flicking the real from one post to the Yes,
- 51:30Speaker 1: just like waiting for that person to catch them five
- 51:33Speaker 1: seconds of your attention. You didn't read.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Anything I did. I read the manual on how to
- 51:38Speaker 2: put together the tribe stroller to go from two children
- 51:42Speaker 2: to four children, on how.
- 51:43Speaker 1: To put that Yes, we tried that out yesterday. We
- 51:45Speaker 1: are now look ridiculous, we are. We have a quad
- 51:49Speaker 1: stroller now. Yes, the oldest is five. But sometimes if
- 51:54Speaker 1: you have small children, you know, after they start, we
- 51:56Speaker 1: go on vacations and we make them walk a lot
- 51:59Speaker 1: and stuff like that, I get tired and whiny. Not
- 52:03Speaker 1: to mention, if she's not in it, then we can
- 52:04Speaker 1: throw our stuff in there. But the other three definitely aren't.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Like the newborn obviously can't walk. The two year old can't.
- 52:10Speaker 1: She can't be trusted. She wants to walk, but she
- 52:13Speaker 1: she also she'll she'll get tired too, she'll just like
- 52:15Speaker 1: stop walking, wants you to be carried.
- 52:16Speaker 2: And then the three year old, he's like a little
- 52:19Speaker 2: suicide machine. Hell, run on, No he won't. You don't think.
- 52:22Speaker 1: No, he's not like that. He's he's just like he's
- 52:26Speaker 1: he's like he's got weaponized incompetence already at a very
- 52:30Speaker 1: young age. He's like, I can't feed myself. I can't
- 52:34Speaker 1: pull down my pads. I can't do that. I can't
- 52:37Speaker 1: pull up my pads although he got caught at the
- 52:41Speaker 1: doctor because he wouldn't do it at home. And then
- 52:44Speaker 1: he got caught at the doctor because the doctor asked
- 52:46Speaker 1: him he had like some bites, some like it looked
- 52:48Speaker 1: like a rash, but it ended up being bug bites.
- 52:50Speaker 1: He just has like real sensitive skin. So I took
- 52:52Speaker 1: him and the doctor she asked him, I'm sorry, we're
- 52:55Speaker 1: in West Texas. The nurse. Nothing wrong with the nurse practitioner.
- 52:59Speaker 1: I'm just saying, we doctor prices and we don't we
- 53:01Speaker 1: get we don't get actual doctors out here. We get
- 53:04Speaker 1: nurse practice.
- 53:05Speaker 2: The doctor's got to oversee the practice.
- 53:06Speaker 1: From a different location, from a different city.
- 53:10Speaker 2: We don't know.
- 53:11Speaker 1: Anyways, so uh again, nothing wrong with nurse practitioners. I
- 53:15Speaker 1: had a nurse practitioner that saw me most of the
- 53:18Speaker 1: time at my old obgy in, but I had the
- 53:20Speaker 1: obgy in was there.
- 53:23Speaker 2: I had a midwife to deliver the last one.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Yes, had a midwife deliver the last one or the
- 53:27Speaker 1: one before this one. Anyways, nothing wrong with it. It's
- 53:30Speaker 1: just funny out here because you can't get an actual doctor.
- 53:32Speaker 1: And then we actually paid a fee to get an
- 53:34Speaker 1: actual doctor, and then we still didn't get an. Actually
- 53:36Speaker 1: that doctor.
- 53:37Speaker 2: Left, he retired, the one retired, but I guess he
- 53:40Speaker 2: came back.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Well, he didn't retire.
- 53:42Speaker 2: The one retired. The guy that we were originally set
- 53:45Speaker 2: up to see, yes, retired.
- 53:46Speaker 1: He was old though.
- 53:48Speaker 2: And then so I saw the other doctors.
- 53:49Speaker 1: I think he owned the practice or he does.
- 53:51Speaker 2: Own the practice, and he's back there working because I
- 53:53Speaker 2: guess the.
- 53:54Speaker 1: Other doctor, the young doctor that we chose, left not
- 53:57Speaker 1: that long because nobody wants to live here unless front.
- 54:01Speaker 1: We do know, we do know. Yes. Anyways, so we're
- 54:06Speaker 1: at the doctor and so the nurse practiciency's like, okay,
- 54:09Speaker 1: can you take your shirt off and everything? And I'm like,
- 54:12Speaker 1: this little we're about to be found out that he can't.
- 54:14Speaker 1: He's three years old and can't undress himself. He just
- 54:16Speaker 1: takes his shirt off, takes his pants off and everything
- 54:18Speaker 1: with that. I'm like, so then he's been found out.
- 54:21Speaker 1: So the when we got home, I was like, I
- 54:22Speaker 1: know you can do it, so you do it yourself.
- 54:23Speaker 1: So now he's undressing himself and like when he gets
- 54:27Speaker 1: in the shower and stuff like that, so and he can.
- 54:31Speaker 1: He kind of can dress too a little bit. He's
- 54:34Speaker 1: just like he's our he's a cadet, he's a space Yeah. Anyway,
- 54:43Speaker 1: so I don't remember what I was saying. What was
- 54:47Speaker 1: I saying? What was the whole point of that? How
- 54:50Speaker 1: do we get there?
- 54:51Speaker 2: I don't know what road we took to get there, something.
- 54:54Speaker 1: About oh, you've read the instructions on the straw and.
- 55:03Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I remember.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Anyways, we tried. We tried that out yesterday for a
- 55:06Speaker 1: little walk around neighborhood. Plus I'm still like, I'm only
- 55:08Speaker 1: three weeks postparm, so I'm not supposed to a bunch
- 55:10Speaker 1: of exercise, but I did start. We walked about a
- 55:12Speaker 1: mile yesterday.
- 55:13Speaker 2: So that was Yeah. But if you're looking for a
- 55:14Speaker 2: stroller Zoe, so he has.
- 55:16Speaker 1: A great stroller, especially if you travel a lot. They
- 55:18Speaker 1: fold up really nicely. So we have the quad now,
- 55:21Speaker 1: so we have four, four children we can push in
- 55:24Speaker 1: one stroller.
- 55:25Speaker 2: Now. While I was looking at it, they don't they
- 55:29Speaker 2: don't say it on the website, but it looks like
- 55:31Speaker 2: you could take another tribe attachment put it.
- 55:33Speaker 1: On farm children. No, I am officially done. I've now
- 55:38Speaker 1: realized that whenever these I've always heard these people say like,
- 55:41Speaker 1: oh yeah, I knew my limit whenever I had I
- 55:44Speaker 1: reached it. When I and like, sometimes it'll be like one,
- 55:46Speaker 1: somebody be like two, be three, and I was like,
- 55:48Speaker 1: what are you talking about this? But I've reached my limit.
- 55:50Speaker 1: I realized it's four. This is it. Like I'm at
- 55:54Speaker 1: my limit.
- 55:55Speaker 2: So yes, we are at our limit.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Plus I'm old and Stew's even old or.
- 56:00Speaker 2: So well, and I can't put up with your okay.
- 56:04Speaker 1: Whatever, All right, I think that's it. Do you Stu
- 56:07Speaker 1: do everything else is all right? That's good, all right,
- 56:10Speaker 1: by everyone, say bye.
- 56:14Speaker 2: Don't you know it's bad to be superstios by napping
- 56:22Speaker 2: else it's working and it's pretty learning. Adam sick.
- 56:30Speaker 1: It's worthy cambage
