- 0:20Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:24Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan ol Maley along
- 0:28Speaker 1: with Raz Sharma and back inside the treehouse Rebecca Black. Yeah,
- 0:34Speaker 1: and we're all happy to have you. We are all
- 0:38Speaker 1: on the same page. We all got the memo. Today.
- 0:40Speaker 1: It is black Shirt Monday inside the Treehouse. Congratulations to
- 0:44Speaker 1: all of us. We're off to a good start. Perhaps
- 0:51Speaker 1: we're in morning, and the morning I'm speaking of is
- 0:57Speaker 1: the absolute face plant of the human race. And I'm
- 1:00Speaker 1: not talking about anything political, although there's plenty of amo
- 1:03Speaker 1: to go around on that topic, but we don't touch
- 1:05Speaker 1: on that a whole lot inside because everyone gets their
- 1:07Speaker 1: butts hurt when you talk about politics. So instead, we're
- 1:10Speaker 1: going to talk about a duck that's been terrorizing a
- 1:13Speaker 1: Florida neighborhood, sending one person to the hospital. Oh no, noah,
- 1:19Speaker 1: Florida or even the ducks are crazy.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Yep. I'm telling you us the water we're gonna find out, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:29Speaker 2: that in the water.
- 1:30Speaker 1: You thought Flint was bad. Neighbors saying an uninvited guest
- 1:39Speaker 1: is causing chaos on their street in Cape Coral, Florida.
- 1:42Speaker 1: A Muscovie duck has not been a friendly visitor, with
- 1:46Speaker 1: neighbors saying it has chased and bitten people, even sending
- 1:49Speaker 1: one person to the hospital.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Wow, do we know what the injury was like? Where
- 1:56Speaker 3: was where was the bite?
- 1:58Speaker 1: Let's dig in and fight out. James Sepulvit has said
- 2:04Speaker 1: I had my eyes closed and all of a sudden,
- 2:07Speaker 1: I felt a jab on my hand and it was bleeding.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Wildlife officials say the duck is protected by federal law
- 2:15Speaker 1: and can be removed, but only by humane methods. Neighbors
- 2:19Speaker 1: say they're trying to keep their distance from the unfriendly duck.
- 2:25Speaker 1: That is all the information I've got, So I believe
- 2:28Speaker 1: mister Sepulveda had to go to the hospital to stop
- 2:31Speaker 1: the bleeding or maybe get a stitch on his hand
- 2:34Speaker 1: from when I'm assuming the duck bit him. But let's
- 2:38Speaker 1: let's read his quote again. He said, I had my
- 2:40Speaker 1: eyes closed, and all of a sudden, I felt a
- 2:43Speaker 1: jab on my hand and it was bleeding.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Eyes are closed. Man, There's no think it was.
- 2:49Speaker 1: The duck, no proof it was the duck. And if
- 2:52Speaker 1: it was the duck, we don't know that the duck
- 2:54Speaker 1: wasn't armed. Maybe it's maybe it's stuck him with a
- 2:57Speaker 1: knife like a little duck shoes, Yeah yeah, or it
- 3:00Speaker 1: had like like a duck syringe.
- 3:04Speaker 2: M M Florida where the ducks are in gangs.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Oh my god, a ducking How cute?
- 3:11Speaker 1: That is pretty adorable and.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Your eyes are closed and you feel a jat.
- 3:18Speaker 3: An no proof, I'm just saying.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I'm just saying as a neighborhood, that's when you get
- 3:23Speaker 2: together and like you didn't see anything, you didn't hear anything.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Duck's about to be gone, and then come over later
- 3:30Speaker 2: for some fog ra.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Is it extra delicious because it's like endangered duck.
- 3:40Speaker 1: This tastes prohibited, This tastes this tastes like a felony.
- 3:47Speaker 2: That's when you go in for the judges, like how
- 3:49Speaker 2: did you kill It's like you said humane ways, I
- 3:51Speaker 2: thought it said hu nan Ways, I just put some
- 3:57Speaker 2: wrang sauce on.
- 3:57Speaker 1: It's a beautiful pairings on the black market.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Yeah, that's here. It would be a different story. That's
- 4:14Speaker 2: what people would be like, who's shooting it first? Give
- 4:19Speaker 2: it to old one hands to pulve it over there.
- 4:20Speaker 2: You know he got him the worst.
- 4:26Speaker 1: He'll look like he'll look like ash out of evil
- 4:29Speaker 1: dead missing an arm, but he she switches it for
- 4:32Speaker 1: a chainsaw. I'm gonna get that. It's just like some
- 4:38Speaker 1: really really really terrible spaghetti Western happening on a street
- 4:42Speaker 1: in Cape Coral, Florida, where the duck is on one
- 4:45Speaker 1: end of the street and this one armed man is
- 4:47Speaker 1: on the other wanting his revenge.
- 4:54Speaker 3: I think it was if it was in Texas and
- 4:56Speaker 3: it gets shot like there's too many bullets in it
- 4:58Speaker 3: to eat, like to eat it everything.
- 5:08Speaker 2: For the smoke clears. It's just one feather. That's all
- 5:11Speaker 2: that's left. No proof the duct died. Absolutely not the
- 5:18Speaker 2: worst firing squad ever, everybody's guns loaded?
- 5:24Speaker 1: Is it the worst or is it the best? Because
- 5:26Speaker 1: that sounds really efficient. It's very And that's actually a
- 5:33Speaker 1: more common thing now because there are some states. There
- 5:36Speaker 1: are some states in the United States that still have
- 5:40Speaker 1: the option of firing squad and in those states they
- 5:45Speaker 1: let the what's the word the person that's going to be,
- 5:49Speaker 1: you know, put to death. They can choose condemned. The condemned, Yeah,
- 5:53Speaker 1: the condemned can choose the method of their destruction, not
- 5:58Speaker 1: like in Ghostbusters where they call it upon the state
- 6:00Speaker 1: puff marshmallow man, which would be way funnier. But instead,
- 6:04Speaker 1: if if you are sentenced to death in some states,
- 6:07Speaker 1: you can elect firing squad if it's among the menu
- 6:10Speaker 1: of choices.
- 6:11Speaker 2: How would you like to die like they did in
- 6:13Speaker 2: the eighteen hundreds.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Well, the problem is you want to make sure your
- 6:19Speaker 1: attorney really reads that fine print because it says firing squad.
- 6:26Speaker 1: There's a whole lot of assumptions in there. You're assuming
- 6:28Speaker 1: that means by some sort of normal caliber rifle or handgun. Correct,
- 6:33Speaker 1: How do you know that the Texas version of the
- 6:35Speaker 1: firing squad is the Gonzales canon that gets rolled out.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Just one guy with an AR fifteen? Where's the squad?
- 6:44Speaker 2: He is it?
- 6:46Speaker 3: Honestly I would take that route, though at fifteen that's
- 6:50Speaker 3: gonna be quick.
- 6:51Speaker 1: It is I honestly I would take And this has happened.
- 6:55Speaker 1: This has happened a handful of times in recent years
- 6:58Speaker 1: where condemned inmates have chosen firing squad over other methods. Now,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I think I would take the lethal injection if it
- 7:05Speaker 1: happened to me, because that seems the easy issues. Go sleep.
- 7:07Speaker 1: But if the two options on the menu were electric
- 7:10Speaker 1: chair or firing squad, bring on the gun.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree, Actually, yeah, I don't want to cook
- 7:16Speaker 3: ranking death penalties today.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Well, I didn't know there was a duck terrorizing a
- 7:20Speaker 1: neighborhood in Florida, So.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I would be. But I'm that guy. I was like,
- 7:24Speaker 2: you know, how would you like to go like guillotine?
- 7:26Speaker 2: That's too cool? But firing Squad's okay, I'll take I'll
- 7:32Speaker 2: take that one.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Then I'm with you guillotines pretty quick.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I would think.
- 7:40Speaker 2: It's gonna be like that would be in Florida and
- 7:42Speaker 2: they'd get the wrong one. It's like some magicians guillotine.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Cut like halfway through alive.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Or you chose guillotine and the problem is it's been
- 7:52Speaker 1: in storage, so it's a little doll. We're gonna have
- 7:57Speaker 1: to do that again.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Raise it back.

- 9:33Speaker 1: Daniel Malley along with Raj Sharma and Rebecca Black inside
- 9:36Speaker 1: the Treehouse today. It is Monday, June ninth, two thousand
- 9:41Speaker 1: twenty five. It's amazing how we could start out the
- 9:45Speaker 1: show talking about a duck terrorizing a neighborhood in Florida
- 9:49Speaker 1: and somehow end up on execution methods in the United States.
- 9:53Speaker 1: But that's what happened in the first part of the show.
- 9:56Speaker 1: And I feel like, based on the conversation we had
- 9:58Speaker 1: in the commercial break, there's more meat on that bone,
- 10:00Speaker 1: and we're going to get back to that snack a
- 10:02Speaker 1: little bit later. But before we do, there's there's there's
- 10:06Speaker 1: a new term that I need to tell you guys about,
- 10:08Speaker 1: because I'm very big on these new twenty first century
- 10:11Speaker 1: terms that keep being thrust upon us, and by us,
- 10:15Speaker 1: I mean those of us that are like gen X millennial.
- 10:20Speaker 1: We have to keep learning definitions for these new terms.
- 10:25Speaker 1: The new one is adult tummy time.
- 10:28Speaker 7: Adult tummy time.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Okay, so here we go, tummy time.
- 10:31Speaker 1: It is time. It is time for a quiz here
- 10:34Speaker 1: inside the Treehouse show.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Okay.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I have music sometimes for stuff.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Like this, and you gotta give him that a hunt.
- 10:41Speaker 1: That's the wrong one. Hang on, that's not it either.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Hang on, let me try I can find this eventually.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Hang On, It's time for a quiz inside the Treehouse.
- 10:52Speaker 1: The subject of today's quiz is adult tummy time. Adult
- 10:57Speaker 1: tummy time is a what you tell your kids when
- 11:01Speaker 1: you go to the bathroom be lying on your stomach
- 11:04Speaker 1: to strengthen neck and shoulder muscles like you do with babies.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Or see the excuse you give your kids when they
- 11:10Speaker 1: catch you passed out on the living room floor. Adult
- 11:13Speaker 1: tummy time, Rebecca, what is your guess?
- 11:17Speaker 3: I'm hoping it's the pasted out one, but I think
- 11:19Speaker 3: it's the baby one. Okay, laying on the tummy.
- 11:23Speaker 1: That is correct. Yes, adult tummy time is lying on
- 11:28Speaker 1: your stomach to strengthen neck and shoulder muscles, just like
- 11:31Speaker 1: you did when you were a bababe.
- 11:34Speaker 3: That kind of really sad.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the newest TikTok trend adult tummy time.
- 11:40Speaker 1: This is, you know, tummy time for babies. That's when
- 11:44Speaker 1: you would put the baby on their stomach while they're
- 11:45Speaker 1: awake so they can strength the neck in shoulder muscles
- 11:49Speaker 1: and improve motor skills. Well, now it's also a new
- 11:53Speaker 1: TikTok trend for adults.
- 11:55Speaker 3: It's like, Okay, how lazy are we as adults? We
- 11:58Speaker 3: can't just go to the gym, can't just work out?
- 12:00Speaker 3: We can't we have to do tummy time now, Like no,
- 12:04Speaker 3: I just.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I just like that he had to because I don't
- 12:09Speaker 2: know why, but he had to preface a while they're awake,
- 12:13Speaker 2: when you put them down on their tummy, while they're conscious, like,
- 12:16Speaker 2: while they're where they can struggle and make noise.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Right, we don't want them to suffocate in their blankets.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Right, you'd be surprised the things that new parents just
- 12:28Speaker 1: don't know.
- 12:29Speaker 2: That's true, true, what happened to the baby tummy time?
- 12:35Speaker 1: That's my bad. Content creators on TikTok, not doctors, but
- 12:43Speaker 1: content creators say you should be on your stomach for
- 12:46Speaker 1: ten or more minutes every day, even if you're just
- 12:49Speaker 1: watching TV, scrolling on your phone, or reading. It's supposed
- 12:53Speaker 1: to counteract tech neck, which is the effects hours that
- 12:57Speaker 1: we spend hunched over on our computers or owns and
- 13:00Speaker 1: other devices. They do say to be careful. One video
- 13:03Speaker 1: warns that if you tilt your head back too much
- 13:06Speaker 1: during tummy time, you're basically just bending your neck and
- 13:09Speaker 1: spined in the same way that you do when you're
- 13:11Speaker 1: hunched over. So it's better to keep your neck straight,
- 13:15Speaker 1: which is easier to do if you're reading versus watching television.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I've this this, This is a position I used to
- 13:22Speaker 1: watch TV. In when I was a kid, I'd be
- 13:24Speaker 1: on the floor on my stomach with the head up
- 13:26Speaker 1: watching TV. Right, Because all the other older people in
- 13:29Speaker 1: the house had a spot to sit, I got the floor.
- 13:31Speaker 1: That's what happened, hierarchy.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Right.
- 13:34Speaker 1: If I try to get on that position now as
- 13:36Speaker 1: a forty five year old man, I can't get up.
- 13:39Speaker 2: No.
- 13:40Speaker 1: If I'm on my stomach and hunched up and looking
- 13:45Speaker 1: up as well, trying to look that hurts now and
- 13:47Speaker 1: I'm sitting, I can't do it.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Yep, that's what mean.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Just lay down flat and then roll over.
- 13:53Speaker 4: That's what I do do.
- 13:55Speaker 2: No, that's where I live now. I'm like, I'm here.
- 13:58Speaker 3: You just are on the ground all time.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I just have to wait for somebody to walk and
- 14:04Speaker 2: throw a sandwich down. Appreciate you. I'm still text with
- 14:11Speaker 2: my nose floor man, hungry.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Like when you need anything, you just yell.
- 14:21Speaker 2: That's all I can do.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Yeah, Like you're on the floor, I can't move. I'm
- 14:25Speaker 3: just gonna yell until somebody brings me. Thinks, so like
- 14:27Speaker 3: an actual.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Baby, Yes, exactly.
- 14:30Speaker 1: So it's important to know that if you are going
- 14:32Speaker 1: if you are an adult and you want to try
- 14:34Speaker 1: adult tummy time. Do it with a buddy. You need
- 14:40Speaker 1: a spot.
- 14:40Speaker 3: I want to get stuck.
- 14:44Speaker 2: You know not. My friends like why am I swaddled.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Down there too long? And he's gonna have a diaper on?
- 14:54Speaker 1: Yeah, but don't be fooled. He's gonna love every second
- 14:56Speaker 1: of it. Once you are any Treehouse.

- 15:40Speaker 1: here inside the Treehouse. This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Dan,
- 15:43Speaker 1: He's Raj. That is Rebecca. Today is Monday, June ninth,
- 15:47Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Rebecca. I know you are a big
- 15:50Speaker 1: movie fan just like I am. Raj is kind of
- 15:53Speaker 1: somewhere because there are movies that he honestly, what is
- 15:58Speaker 1: your favorite movie, Raj? Because whenever you want I talk
- 16:00Speaker 1: about movies, it's usually you, you know, degrading the movies I love.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I don't know American Ninja.
- 16:10Speaker 1: But yeah, but you also don't like a Christmas Story.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Oh, I don't like a.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Christmas Story either. I think it's the worst movie on earth.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 16:20Speaker 1: When did you watch it, Rebecca?
- 16:22Speaker 3: It's been it's been a while, but I have not
- 16:24Speaker 3: liked it since forever. I was like, I don't get it.
- 16:27Speaker 3: I know it's stupid.
- 16:28Speaker 1: When like, when was the first time you saw it?
- 16:30Speaker 3: The first time I saw it, I don't know. I
- 16:31Speaker 3: was probably like maybe in the third grade, like young.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Shut up, all right, fine, so you're not as cool as.
- 16:41Speaker 2: You have no idea. I told Peter Billingsley to his
- 16:44Speaker 2: face that the movie sucked.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Amazing.
- 16:49Speaker 1: We still remain friends, do you? Because I haven't. I
- 16:52Speaker 1: didn't see you in a Christmas Story story too.
- 16:56Speaker 2: No, but but he did, like I was like, hey, man,
- 16:58Speaker 2: I watched a watch the Christmas Story and he's like, then,
- 17:02Speaker 2: what do you think. I was like, it's terrible, and
- 17:05Speaker 2: he goes, when did you see it? And I go
- 17:07Speaker 2: a couple of weeks ago? He goes, that's why. Yeah,
- 17:10Speaker 2: it's a nostalgia thing. So even he understands, like at a.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Certain age, yeah, he knows it's a kid's movie.
- 17:15Speaker 2: My favorite movie of all time, The Godfather. There is
- 17:20Speaker 2: just no better, uh cinematic work of art and cast
- 17:24Speaker 2: that you could get today.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Like what's your second favorite movie? Because I feel like
- 17:28Speaker 1: that's just like a guy's easy answer, Oh, Godfather.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Second favorite movie of all time?
- 17:34Speaker 1: Like if or what's a movie that if it's on
- 17:37Speaker 1: you'll you'll stop down everything?
- 17:38Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, few good men.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Okay, all right, you're back into my good graces.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Now back to the future every single time. Yeah, that's good,
- 17:47Speaker 2: we'll watch it every single time.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Rebecca, what's your favorite film?
- 17:51Speaker 3: I don't know. That is an impossible question because I
- 17:54Speaker 3: have so many. If you want comedy, category, you want serious?
- 17:57Speaker 3: What do you want?
- 17:58Speaker 1: You're answering this question the way I typically answer it,
- 18:00Speaker 1: Like what mood?
- 18:00Speaker 4: Am I in?
- 18:01Speaker 1: What category?
- 18:02Speaker 2: What?
- 18:02Speaker 1: John? All that stuff?
- 18:04Speaker 3: If we're going like drama in the Sunshine and the
- 18:06Speaker 3: Spotless Mind is my absolute favorite movie. It's a great film.
- 18:11Speaker 3: We're going comedy, Oh, like Napoleon Dynamite or Saved?
- 18:17Speaker 1: Okay, interesting, have you ever seen Saved?
- 18:20Speaker 2: Oh?
- 18:21Speaker 3: God, it's fantastic.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Oh if I'm surprised you haven't seen it, then it
- 18:24Speaker 2: has Mandy Moore in it, you know.
- 18:26Speaker 3: No, Okay, you're saying it's Mandy Moore in it like
- 18:29Speaker 3: it's a bad thing. This is the best film she's
- 18:31Speaker 3: ever made in life.
- 18:32Speaker 1: She's a good actress. We had her on the show
- 18:34Speaker 1: once many many, many many many years ago when we
- 18:36Speaker 1: were on.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm telling you, if you haven't seen Saved, watch it.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:42Speaker 4: Uh.
- 18:42Speaker 1: The reason I ask is because the reason I ask
- 18:46Speaker 1: is because the topic of this next topic is Jurassic Park.
- 18:52Speaker 1: We've all seen Jurassic Park, right, which ones the first one?
- 18:56Speaker 1: Just og Jurassic Park, not World, although Jurassic World was
- 19:01Speaker 1: actually really fun. No, I'm asking you today about Jurassic
- 19:06Speaker 1: Park because last Sunday, for some reason, was National Dinosaur Day.
- 19:11Speaker 1: So someone decided to ask five thousand Americans would you
- 19:15Speaker 1: go to a real life Jurassic Park? What percentage of
- 19:21Speaker 1: Americans do you think said they would go to a
- 19:25Speaker 1: real life Jurassic Park?
- 19:28Speaker 2: What percentage of them were white?
- 19:30Speaker 1: I don't have the demographic breakdowns, Garaj.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Okay, then I question objectively.
- 19:36Speaker 1: That probably does bear some if it was yes, No, no, no, no,
- 19:44Speaker 1: I don't think. I don't think Raj thinks all white
- 19:46Speaker 1: people would go to a real Jurassic Park. I think
- 19:49Speaker 1: that everyone that said yes is white.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Yes, you're both answered.
- 19:55Speaker 1: I would not go to.
- 19:56Speaker 2: A real dress.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Would you, Becca? Would you go to a real Jurassic Park?
- 20:02Speaker 3: Like, based on my movie knowledge of Jurassic Park, everything
- 20:06Speaker 3: within me says no. But there's that little slices.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Like that, there's the white park.
- 20:10Speaker 1: There's a white girl coming out right.
- 20:11Speaker 3: I'm telling you, I don't know what. I don't know
- 20:14Speaker 3: what's wrong with me?
- 20:15Speaker 1: White girl curiosity?
- 20:17Speaker 2: Yeah, kill me?
- 20:18Speaker 3: And that's fine.
- 20:19Speaker 2: You're white and there's a part of your brain that goes,
- 20:21Speaker 2: what could go wrong?
- 20:24Speaker 3: I think I know everything could go wrong, and I'd
- 20:27Speaker 3: still be like, all right, let's do this.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Yeah, if they if they if they asked five thousand
- 20:32Speaker 2: people of color, the percentage would be zero. You know
- 20:37Speaker 2: that if they asked five thousand white people, it's a
- 20:39Speaker 2: big hooray or when does it open? Right? Well?
- 20:45Speaker 1: Surprisingly, then RAJ only twenty nine percent No ways. Twenty
- 20:49Speaker 1: nine percent of people said they would go to a
- 20:52Speaker 1: real life Jurassic Park. Fifty percent said absolutely no way,
- 20:57Speaker 1: twenty one percent said they needed to think on it
- 20:59Speaker 1: a little bit harder.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Okay, so fifty percent we're white, fifty percent people of color,
- 21:05Speaker 2: So twenty one percent that's that said yes, and then
- 21:09Speaker 2: twenty nine percent that went you got to think about it,
- 21:12Speaker 2: white people fifty percent. That's a that's a poll you
- 21:17Speaker 2: can take as a person of colors walking past you like,
- 21:20Speaker 2: that's how fast that answer is. Would you go to
- 21:22Speaker 2: real life Jurassic Park? Hell no? And then they just
- 21:24Speaker 2: keep walking like that. That's all the thing.
- 21:27Speaker 3: No, have we been have we been grafting different dinosaurs
- 21:32Speaker 3: or these really going to be like the og original
- 21:34Speaker 3: dinosaurs from way back when? Like I need to know
- 21:36Speaker 3: all of those factors.
- 21:38Speaker 1: So you're you're part of the twenty one percent that
- 21:40Speaker 1: wants that has more questions. Yes, yeah, you want to
- 21:44Speaker 1: know if you if you want to know if you
- 21:46Speaker 1: can go feed the bronosauruses.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Correct again, I'm still going to go. I'm not negating that.
- 21:52Speaker 2: It's like it's going to be like I'm going to
- 21:56Speaker 2: be like the Flintstones. That's what this is going to
- 21:58Speaker 2: be like. And then your head gets bit and people
- 22:00Speaker 2: got I can't believe it happened. Sure did, as as
- 22:04Speaker 2: black people and brown people are watching it on TV, going,
- 22:07Speaker 2: don't do it? What's gonna happen.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Doesn't make it better. If I say I won't be
- 22:11Speaker 3: surprised if it.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Happens, that's probably in the same twenty one percent.
- 22:16Speaker 3: At least I'm aware of what I'm getting into.
- 22:21Speaker 2: So right before, like snap your arm off, you're like, oh,
- 22:24Speaker 2: I saw this couple. Yeah, but.

- 23:18Speaker 1: real and you're saying, you're saying you would be interested
- 23:21Speaker 1: in going to a real Jurassic Park, but you think
- 23:23Speaker 1: you've already got a hack on how how it should
- 23:26Speaker 1: be done.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I think you go early, like as soon as
- 23:28Speaker 3: it opens, like day one. That's because the drama doesn't
- 23:32Speaker 3: hit till like two three weeks later, when all the
- 23:34Speaker 3: stuff starts falling apart.
- 23:36Speaker 2: It's because they've kept it out of the news. That's
- 23:38Speaker 2: why they work out the kinks. Day one. You don't
- 23:41Speaker 2: ever go to the carnival Day one, they they that's
- 23:44Speaker 2: when they figure out there's bolts missing from the ferris wheel. Uh,
- 23:48Speaker 2: you don't go day one. That's when.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Okay, nobody ever gets hurt or injured on day one.
- 23:54Speaker 3: It always happens two weeks later.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Did you do you remember when the Titan opened at
- 23:59Speaker 2: six Flags on day one and it got stuck at
- 24:02Speaker 2: the very top.
- 24:03Speaker 3: No, I don't remember that that was that Day one though,
- 24:06Speaker 3: that was two weeks later. I guarantee it. That was
- 24:09Speaker 3: day when that lady died on the Texas Giant. How
- 24:13Speaker 3: long after did that happen? After years?
- 24:17Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, it's also the Texas Giant was known medically
- 24:22Speaker 2: to give you whiplash, like secure whiplash, and they tried
- 24:26Speaker 2: to We all willingly knew that, right, Yeah, that.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Was that was like part of the appeal of the Rocky.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it could snap your neck, and white people are like,
- 24:35Speaker 2: let's get on, we'll get we'll get frozen bananas. After no.
- 24:42Speaker 3: So have you never ridden the Texas Giant either on accident?
- 24:46Speaker 2: Sure did on accident. Yeah. I was talking to a girl.
- 24:49Speaker 2: We were in line, I were talking. Outside of the line.
- 24:52Speaker 2: We started walking. I was talking. It was going very well.
- 24:55Speaker 2: I was sixteen and it was going and then we
- 24:58Speaker 2: just kind of sat and she's like, you want to
- 24:59Speaker 2: sit next to me? I was like absolutely, And she goes,
- 25:02Speaker 2: this first hill is the scariest and what what are
- 25:04Speaker 2: you talking? And I yelled for them to stop the ride? Yeah,
- 25:09Speaker 2: and they didn't. Yeah. I never, I never. I got
- 25:15Speaker 2: the bride stopped. I was horrified. I got up. She said,
- 25:19Speaker 2: where are you going? I don't know what, uh if
- 25:21Speaker 2: I even said anything, But it was very much like
- 25:23Speaker 2: the end of The Incredible Hulk where he's just walking
- 25:26Speaker 2: and the piano's playing and I'm just like hitch hiking
- 25:29Speaker 2: back to the highway. I just want my mommy. You
- 25:34Speaker 2: don't see you don't see any people un roller coasters.
- 25:36Speaker 2: I'm just telling you, it's not a thing.
- 25:37Speaker 3: You say that.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Let's set the record straight here. The Titan did get
- 25:44Speaker 1: stuck in its opening year at six Flags.
- 25:47Speaker 3: In the opening year.
- 25:49Speaker 1: In the opening year, the date, the date that it
- 25:52Speaker 1: got stuck was July eighteenth, two thousand and one. I
- 25:57Speaker 1: know that's the opening year, not just because Google told me,
- 26:00Speaker 1: but because I was there for me to media.
- 26:05Speaker 2: For Titan.
- 26:07Speaker 1: But its official first day of operation was in April.
- 26:13Speaker 1: So yeah, so it got stuck a few months after.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Therefore lending some serious credibility to Rebecca to your theory
- 26:24Speaker 1: that the best time to go to a new ride
- 26:28Speaker 1: or theme park like a real Jurassic Park would be
- 26:31Speaker 1: the first day, because it stands to reason that would
- 26:33Speaker 1: be its safest.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Thank you very much, I appreciate other.
- 26:37Speaker 2: So the first day to go to Jurassic Park is
- 26:39Speaker 2: the first day. You don't know how the animals are
- 26:41Speaker 2: going to react to human beings in mass.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Well, that's why Rebecca said to go early.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Yes, oh okay, you know that all white people think
- 26:50Speaker 2: the same way, So you'll all be there early.
- 26:54Speaker 3: We all get taken out at once.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Watch watch every sport. When your team is losing, the
- 27:00Speaker 2: stands start like people start walking back to their cars.
- 27:04Speaker 2: But black people and brown people like, you know how
- 27:05Speaker 2: much money we paid for these tickets. We're watching till
- 27:07Speaker 2: the last second. White people are like, we'll beat traffic. No,
- 27:11Speaker 2: then you cause all the traffic because you're all leaving
- 27:14Speaker 2: at the same time.
- 27:15Speaker 1: So this is how, that's why that that's why. The
- 27:17Speaker 1: ultimate hack is when you go to like a Rangers
- 27:19Speaker 1: game or a Cowboys game, is is you leave it halftime?
- 27:24Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:27Speaker 3: Well, isn't everybody leaving at halftime for the Cowboy games? Anyway?
- 27:30Speaker 1: There it is there.
- 27:38Speaker 7: You're listening to the tree House.

- 28:16Speaker 1: give us a follow Today. This is the tree House Show.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Mallley. He's Raj Sharma. She is Rebecca Black. Today,
- 28:23Speaker 1: if I have my notes correct, and I'm looking at
- 28:25Speaker 1: the calendar and hopefully my calendar is correct, today is Monday,
- 28:29Speaker 1: June ninth, twenty twenty five, and I believe this is
- 28:32Speaker 1: our fifth segment of the day fingers crossed, which means
- 28:36Speaker 1: it's time for birthdays. Birthdays today. Logan Browning is thirty six.
- 28:41Speaker 1: He is the star of the Netflix show Dear White People.
- 28:46Speaker 1: This is another example as to the reason why we
- 28:48Speaker 1: do birthdays on this show every single stinking day, because
- 28:53Speaker 1: I don't ever pre read. I never look at the
- 28:56Speaker 1: birthdays ahead of time. It's always a surprise. Yeah, and
- 29:00Speaker 1: at least once a week there's a nugget like that
- 29:03Speaker 1: buried in birthdays that ties back into some random nonsense
- 29:06Speaker 1: we were talking about earlier in the show, and that
- 29:09Speaker 1: right there is a great example of it. First of all,
- 29:11Speaker 1: there's a show on Netflix called Dear White People, and
- 29:13Speaker 1: it stars a guy whose birthday is today. Yeah, and
- 29:17Speaker 1: white people has been a somewhat of a topic on
- 29:19Speaker 1: Today's How is this not.
- 29:21Speaker 3: A segment tell us everything that's wrong with us?
- 29:26Speaker 1: I feel like that needs to be the title of
- 29:28Speaker 1: Raj's new special.
- 29:30Speaker 3: I love that.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Letters to the white people.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I like getting canceled quick too. They're normally in
- 29:39Speaker 2: charge of these things.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Well, it doesn't have to be an angry letter. Yeah.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Some things can be nice. Somethings can be funny.
- 29:47Speaker 2: You know. Yeah, if it was if it was my
- 29:49Speaker 2: show that was called Dear White People, would it would
- 29:52Speaker 2: be thirty seconds like Dear White People, the credits would roll,
- 29:56Speaker 2: and then you would see somebody getting bit by a
- 29:58Speaker 2: duck and that would be the credits end. And I'm like,
- 30:01Speaker 2: that was white people, or all seven white people getting
- 30:07Speaker 2: on a rocket. I'm like, let's see how this turns out.
- 30:11Speaker 3: You're not wrong here, trust me.
- 30:15Speaker 2: I know. It's been almost fifty years of watching you guys.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Just go what could happen? And then it happens. You're like,
- 30:21Speaker 2: we didn't see it coming. Yeah you did.
- 30:24Speaker 1: All those people left, you went early, kind of like
- 30:28Speaker 1: all the people on the titan submersible we were talking
- 30:30Speaker 1: about just a minute ago in the break.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like when when the guy was famously quoted
- 30:34Speaker 2: as they were boarding the Titanic and he goes, not
- 30:37Speaker 2: even God could sink this ship. If there was any
- 30:40Speaker 2: brown people anywhere near to be like, get off the ship.
- 30:42Speaker 2: He said it, let's go get off right now. What happened?
- 30:47Speaker 2: He said, not even God could think this ship it's
- 30:49Speaker 2: going down. Let's go, we're going home. Let's go back home.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Well, anybody who says that it's like unsinkable or whatever,
- 30:58Speaker 3: like that's immediate red flag. You know, it's a freaking lie.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Yes, And then all of you boarded. But like, if
- 31:04Speaker 2: I had.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Heard that prior to getting on, I would not have
- 31:07Speaker 3: gotten on, or or just.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Not let him on. Well, yeah, God's going to curse
- 31:13Speaker 2: that guy, But no, I mean that, Dear what I
- 31:16Speaker 2: think I'm gonna write a new special. You're white people.
- 31:19Speaker 2: You should have an idea. Okay, I think they should.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I'll help you write some stuff.
- 31:23Speaker 2: It's gonna start Jurassic Park day one, the closing of
- 31:29Speaker 2: Jurassic Park.
- 31:34Speaker 1: It'll be fine as long as we get there early.
- 31:38Speaker 2: What happened to Nana's arm?
- 31:40Speaker 9: We got there early, I'll see what happened was well,
- 31:44Speaker 9: what happened was the the velociraptors ate Nana slowly because
- 31:48Speaker 9: they weren't fully awake yet, so they took their time.
- 31:53Speaker 2: No, we've got.
- 31:53Speaker 3: There breakfast time, so they would have eaten her faster. Logically,
- 31:58Speaker 3: think he sings through.
- 32:00Speaker 2: How early did you get there before the feeding?
- 32:03Speaker 3: Exactly? It's all about logistics, y'all.
- 32:09Speaker 2: R P.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Then do you put a dinosaur on her tombstone so
- 32:17Speaker 3: everybody knows, like how she went?
- 32:22Speaker 2: I would.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Maybe you know, in hindsight, maybe the goat's blood slurpy
- 32:29Speaker 1: was a bad idea with your cup.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Smelled her from a mile away.
- 32:38Speaker 2: We shouldn't have brought Tray's mom with the ground beef.
- 32:46Speaker 10: And that's why we do birthdays. You listen is online

- 33:39Speaker 1: you can catch up any time you want. Or, in
- 33:42Speaker 1: Rebecca Black's case today, if she didn't hear the story
- 33:46Speaker 1: about Trey's stepmom and ground beef, well she's lucky because
- 33:51Speaker 1: we're gonna tell them.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Oh no, you're gonna tell it from one White to another.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Yeah, because I don't think Rebeca would believe it if
- 34:00Speaker 1: you told her. Rush So Trey, our dear dear friend,
- 34:06Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm had an interesting childhood. His parents got divorced
- 34:13Speaker 1: when he was young, and so part of his childhood
- 34:15Speaker 1: was spent in Highland Park with his mom. Ok, and
- 34:17Speaker 1: then Trey also spent some of his youth with his
- 34:21Speaker 1: father in Leonard, Texas. You're talking really, this is a
- 34:26Speaker 1: true life tale of two cities. But then Trey also
- 34:29Speaker 1: had a fun step mom. So when little Tray was
- 34:34Speaker 1: hanging out with his dad, they decided as a family,
- 34:37Speaker 1: Trey's stepmom was going to take them to Lion Country Safari,
- 34:42Speaker 1: the old spot in Irving.
- 34:44Speaker 3: And in order to make it's already like.
- 34:48Speaker 1: In order to make Lion Country Safari more interesting for
- 34:53Speaker 1: little Tray, Trey's stepmom decided to step out of the
- 34:57Speaker 1: vehicle and rub ground meat all over over the car
- 35:02Speaker 1: before going into the lion paddock.
- 35:05Speaker 3: My gosh, and.
- 35:06Speaker 1: That is that was how Trey spent that summer.
- 35:11Speaker 2: On the next episode of Dear White People.
- 35:17Speaker 1: At least she did it before going into.
- 35:19Speaker 3: The to say, yeah, because she'd be dead.
- 35:24Speaker 2: So I think they'd all be dead.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure.
- 35:30Speaker 2: They got there early to put the ground meat.
- 35:33Speaker 1: See not all.
- 35:37Speaker 3: Just my points.
- 35:41Speaker 1: We haven't Yeah, this is proof that not all ideas
- 35:44Speaker 1: are good ideas.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Yeah we we haven't mentioned Trey's sister and they got
- 35:56Speaker 2: there early.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Survivor you know why because he showed up late.
- 36:05Speaker 2: All the donations that were raised were for tray A.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Trey's stepmom is the reason why Lion Country Safari had
- 36:15Speaker 1: to shut down.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Technically, Trey's brother is the reason they had.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Elaborate. Now I need more information.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Well he had a brother, had they got there early? No?
- 36:41Speaker 2: All right, Dale.
- 36:43Speaker 1: As far as we know, Trey is and always has
- 36:46Speaker 1: been an only child unless he's repressed the memory of
- 36:50Speaker 1: his little brother getting eaten at the at the Lion Country.
- 36:53Speaker 4: So far.
- 36:55Speaker 1: In Trey's conscious mind, he is an only child.
- 36:58Speaker 2: I couldn't watch The Lion King. It was PTSD.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Yeah, we all get chills when the song happens, not
- 37:08Speaker 1: like he gets. It's the reason why he drank for
- 37:11Speaker 1: so many years. Trey started when he was seven.
- 37:21Speaker 2: And it was Jack Daniels after his brother Jack. The
- 37:28Speaker 2: middle name was Daniel.
- 37:33Speaker 3: All Right, worked a good shift, buddy.
- 37:42Speaker 1: I would contend the best day to go to a
- 37:45Speaker 1: real life Jurassic Park or any theme park is media day.
- 37:49Speaker 1: There's no way in hell they're gonna let big Al
- 37:51Speaker 1: fall off the Titan, correct. And I know that because
- 37:54Speaker 1: I made sure he rode before I did see and
- 37:57Speaker 1: he did, and he did absolutely well.
- 37:59Speaker 2: He was getting paid. He was getting paid to do
- 38:01Speaker 2: it right.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Well, yeah, technically we all were there.
- 38:04Speaker 4: We go.
- 38:04Speaker 2: That's there's there's the difference.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Yeah, Like Al was walking up. I think Kelly Raspberry
- 38:09Speaker 1: was there as well, and I was just working, you know,
- 38:11Speaker 1: part time promotions at kV I L at the time.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I wouldn't anybody, but because I was there with the
- 38:15Speaker 1: van and some stickers, they let me, you know, do
- 38:17Speaker 1: the rival as well. But yeah, I mean it was
- 38:20Speaker 1: you had Al and Kelly. I think Hawkeye was there
- 38:25Speaker 1: as well. I mean it was a big deal when
- 38:26Speaker 1: Titan opened up. So if you want to you want
- 38:28Speaker 1: the safest day to go on a new ride, it's
- 38:31Speaker 1: media day.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and if anything goes wrong, they're there to cover it.
- 38:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
