- 0:08Speaker 1: Scarable advice Shooter's bice.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's no Welcome to the Naughty but Nisha. I'm your host,
- 0:17Speaker 2: Rob Shooter, and it's Friday, which means our dear friend
- 0:21Speaker 2: Corey Andrew is joining us. Corey, it's been a moment.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Are you there?
- 0:25Speaker 1: I am here, Hello, Rob, Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello, hellovel
- 0:29Speaker 1: Levello happiness.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Yeah, my friend, you look great. I've been seeing you
- 0:34Speaker 2: pop up on television. I'm so proud of Yes, you're
- 0:36Speaker 2: good at it. Thank you.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Well, I appreciate that, you know, and I tell everyone
- 0:40Speaker 1: always my mentor is Rub Shooter, and you've helped me
- 0:44Speaker 1: do some really great things in twenty twenty four and
- 0:46Speaker 1: now in twenty twenty five. So thank you, sir for.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Having It's a pleasure. And remember, if this fool can
- 0:52Speaker 2: do it, so can you. Honestly. It's really true, naughties.
- 0:55Speaker 2: If you doubt yourself, do it honestly, because you can
- 0:58Speaker 2: do whatever you want if you put in the working.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Certainly have done that. Okay, let's jump into our show.
- 1:05Speaker 2: What time is it, my friends? It is it's a
- 1:07Speaker 2: big story. At the top of the show, coming from London,
- 1:09Speaker 2: Prince William is seizing power from King Charles, and he
- 1:13Speaker 2: might be the toughest ruler the family has ever seen.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Let me explain. So, King Charles battles cancer. While he's
- 1:22Speaker 2: still battling cancer, the Prince of Wales is making some
- 1:26Speaker 2: bold moves to reshape the monarchy. Insiders are saying that
- 1:31Speaker 2: he's seized power from his ailing father and that he
- 1:35Speaker 2: has very strong views about what he wants to do
- 1:37Speaker 2: what he doesn't want to do. Let me give you
- 1:39Speaker 2: some examples. He's pretty much over his brother Harry and Megan.
- 1:43Speaker 2: That feels like last year, the year before I get it,
- 1:45Speaker 2: and so they just really don't want to talk about
- 1:48Speaker 2: that anymore. But also to his uncle, Prince Andrew, he's
- 1:52Speaker 2: over him as well, and so it's no secret there's
- 1:55Speaker 2: going to be pushed back to his brother, to his
- 1:58Speaker 2: uncle as soon as he is.
- 2:00Speaker 3: King, and also to William.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Wants to modernize the family and make sure that every
- 2:05Speaker 2: penny they spend they have to spend. He's going to
- 2:07Speaker 2: be really really closely monitoring the budget of the royal family.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Tax Payers pay for this, and he knows the world
- 2:15Speaker 2: has changed since his grandmother, great grandfather. And you can
- 2:20Speaker 2: go back to Henry the Ave and William the Conqueror
- 2:22Speaker 2: like that his family. Times have changed, and so he
- 2:26Speaker 2: wants to have a more modern royal family. There's doubts
- 2:29Speaker 2: he will ever move into Buckingham Palace that will become
- 2:32Speaker 2: an office. It basically is an office now, it's where
- 2:35Speaker 2: they have the state rooms. But really the Queen didn't
- 2:38Speaker 2: live there, and Charles does not live there either. He's
- 2:40Speaker 2: still in Clarence House. And so I think this is
- 2:42Speaker 2: a path that his dad has already taken us down.
- 2:45Speaker 2: But when I read reports that he's seizing power, that's
- 2:50Speaker 2: a little bit misleading. My sources tell me his dad
- 2:53Speaker 2: is happy to involve, involve his son. He knows that
- 2:58Speaker 2: he has cancer. He knows about handing on the baton
- 3:02Speaker 2: when the moment is right, and he wants to make
- 3:05Speaker 2: sure his son is ready. And William's very, very strong.
- 3:10Speaker 2: He's not afraid to make some tough decisions. His dad
- 3:15Speaker 2: is actually, some would argue too soft. His dad will
- 3:19Speaker 2: never kick his brother, that naughty Prince Andrew At. He won't.
- 3:23Speaker 2: His dad will never tell Harry and Meghan enough shut up.
- 3:26Speaker 2: He won't. William's a different person. William's tough, he's bold,
- 3:31Speaker 2: he wants to change the monarchy, and he knows that
- 3:34Speaker 2: if there's going to be a future of this monarchy,
- 3:37Speaker 2: this family for his son, he wants his son to
- 3:39Speaker 2: be king one day. He knows, he knows the changes
- 3:44Speaker 2: have to be made.
- 3:44Speaker 3: I think I support it.
- 3:45Speaker 2: What about you, Corey Well, I think.
- 3:47Speaker 1: One, you know, he has a sick parent. Let's just
- 3:50Speaker 1: like really break it down into like really basic things
- 3:52Speaker 1: we all can relate to.
- 3:53Speaker 2: That.
- 3:53Speaker 1: So he's being a responsible son by taking over the
- 3:57Speaker 1: responsibilities for his dad. Now, whether he's going to go
- 3:59Speaker 1: on there, as they say, and make it like sort of,
- 4:02Speaker 1: you know, rule with an iron fist and sort of speak,
- 4:05Speaker 1: I think, you know, when sometimes you take over a
- 4:07Speaker 1: situation like this, that is the time to sort of
- 4:09Speaker 1: get in there and make your mark and establish a
- 4:12Speaker 1: few of how you do things. Because he is the
- 4:14Speaker 1: next in line anyway, right, so maybe it's his way
- 4:17Speaker 1: of starting to maybe plant a few seeds here and
- 4:20Speaker 1: there about how he would rule in the end.
- 4:23Speaker 3: I think it's very small.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I wish that they this has happened for Megan. Nobody
- 4:28Speaker 2: taught her how to be a duchess. She's just thrown
- 4:31Speaker 2: into that family. William's doing the smart thing here. He's
- 4:34Speaker 2: looking he's learning right, and when he hits the ground running,
- 4:38Speaker 2: which he will on a really tragic day when his
- 4:41Speaker 2: dad passes, he'll be ready. And I'm told Kate is
- 4:45Speaker 2: also getting ready for this too. It's one thing to
- 4:48Speaker 2: being a prince, it's another being a king and a queen,
- 4:51Speaker 2: and so they want to make sure they are ready.
- 4:54Speaker 2: And I think we have to applaud that. We say
- 4:56Speaker 2: all the time on this silly little show, do the work.
- 4:59Speaker 2: And it doesn't matter if you're a podcast host or
- 5:01Speaker 2: you're on television, working in a store or a restaurant,
- 5:04Speaker 2: or the King of England. You've got to do the work.
- 5:07Speaker 2: And I'm actually really impressed that William's rolling up his
- 5:11Speaker 2: sleeves because it'd be so easy to be arrogant. He's
- 5:14Speaker 2: got the job. He doesn't act like you and me
- 5:15Speaker 2: would get fired. You can't fire the king.
- 5:18Speaker 3: So sometimes I do the work because I don't.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Want to be fine. But if I had immunity, like
- 5:22Speaker 2: if I could get away with anything, which William can,
- 5:24Speaker 2: I be sure I would do quite yeah, I would.
- 5:27Speaker 2: I like doing the work, and so I'm really impressed
- 5:29Speaker 2: here William does not have to do this he's got
- 5:32Speaker 2: the job regardless. That minute his dad dies, William will
- 5:36Speaker 2: be king and he'll sit on that throne, whether he's
- 5:40Speaker 2: a good king or a bad king, for as long
- 5:42Speaker 2: as he's alive. It's a floor in the system. It's
- 5:46Speaker 2: fine when we get good kings and queens. What happens
- 5:48Speaker 2: when we got.
- 5:49Speaker 3: A bad one.
- 5:50Speaker 2: We're stuck with them for twenty thirty, forty fifty sixty.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I mean a long long time.
- 5:55Speaker 2: And she's almost like being a supreme court. That's what
- 5:58Speaker 2: it feels like. It's yours full life, and even if
- 6:02Speaker 2: you're terrible at it, there's no way to kick you
- 6:05Speaker 2: off the bench. Well, there's no way to get rid
- 6:08Speaker 2: of William. So I'm really impressed. He wants to be
- 6:11Speaker 2: a good king. He wants to do a good job.
- 6:14Speaker 2: He wants to make sure that his rain is fair,
- 6:17Speaker 2: that he helps people, that he helps the country. And
- 6:20Speaker 2: so I'm cheering William on. But what's really important on
- 6:24Speaker 2: this shows what do you think? So Prince William is
- 6:27Speaker 2: seizing power from his dad and might be the toughest
- 6:30Speaker 2: ruler Britain.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Has ever seen.
- 6:32Speaker 2: That's a little extreme, but you know what I mean,
- 6:35Speaker 2: what do you think about this are you team William?
- 6:38Speaker 2: Are you cheering him on? Yes or no?
- 6:41Speaker 1: Go?
- 6:41Speaker 2: Vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob Our
- 6:44Speaker 2: facebook page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check
- 6:47Speaker 2: back on Monday to hear your results. Hey Corey Love,
- 6:51Speaker 2: what are you working on?
- 6:53Speaker 3: Well?
- 6:53Speaker 1: A very strange twist in this La fire story has
- 6:56Speaker 1: now taken over the internet, which is ABC News anchor
- 6:59Speaker 1: David or He is under fire, literally and figuratively mad
- 7:03Speaker 1: after social media users have spotted something rather embarrassing. It's
- 7:08Speaker 1: a fashion faux pas. It was during his coverage of
- 7:10Speaker 1: the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. While surveying the destruction in
- 7:14Speaker 1: the Palisades, viewers noticed something really peculiar, like it wouldn't clamp,
- 7:19Speaker 1: like senching the back of his jacket. It's like a
- 7:23Speaker 1: flame retardant jacket. And it's like, we call them a
- 7:27Speaker 1: clothes pin. That is what we call them. They made
- 7:28Speaker 1: out of woods. Everyone knows that a clothes pin is
- 7:30Speaker 1: that pinches. So his jacket was cinched from behind to
- 7:34Speaker 1: give him a more tailored look as he reported all
- 7:38Speaker 1: these devastating fires. So some people thought it was a
- 7:40Speaker 1: little frivolous or a little self serving because of the
- 7:43Speaker 1: nature of the situation as he turned to gesture to
- 7:46Speaker 1: the charred rubble behind him. You know, he has this
- 7:49Speaker 1: makeshift little jacket making him look more svelt and kind
- 7:53Speaker 1: of sexy. When he was exposed, he turned around and
- 7:57Speaker 1: you saw the side of the the the little sinshi thing,
- 8:01Speaker 1: and it was across his torso making him look a
- 8:03Speaker 1: little bit more like kind of broad chested and like
- 8:05Speaker 1: you know, gem body and buff. And that moment got
- 8:08Speaker 1: captured and quickly people on social media they were like,
- 8:12Speaker 1: they went after him. One guy said, hey, nice jacket, bro,
- 8:15Speaker 1: glad you looked nice and spelt with those closedline pegs
- 8:18Speaker 1: while our city burns to the ground. That's what Jack
- 8:22Speaker 1: Worn actually said. It wasn't just a regular person that
- 8:24Speaker 1: was from.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Sunshine, So yeah.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and he really you know. His and his post,
- 8:30Speaker 1: of course, sparked a flood of additional criticism, with users
- 8:34Speaker 1: labeling the show World News Tonight host as pathetic, narcissistic,
- 8:39Speaker 1: and even worse. They said that he is out here
- 8:41Speaker 1: worrying about his waistline while Los Angeles is literally inflames.
- 8:45Speaker 1: One user wrote, So some people did come to his defense, though,
- 8:49Speaker 1: and they said they look you know many on air
- 8:51Speaker 1: personalities use such techniques to ensure a polished look under
- 8:56Speaker 1: harsh conditions, So.
- 8:59Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I would have never noticed that he even had that,
- 9:02Speaker 1: I would have just assumed his jacket was fitted. I
- 9:04Speaker 1: would have never So my point is, if you're going
- 9:06Speaker 1: to do stuff like that, just be very careful because
- 9:10Speaker 1: you can be exposed. And here is the result.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Totally. I think he was let down here by his
- 9:14Speaker 2: camera person and by the director. Maybe the style is here.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I'm not saying David is not to blame. It's his show,
- 9:22Speaker 2: his names above the title. But I gotta let you
- 9:24Speaker 2: in on the little secret norties. Everybody on television does this.
- 9:28Speaker 2: If you go to see The View or any other
- 9:31Speaker 2: TV shows, there's laid is because you can see them
- 9:34Speaker 2: if you're in the audience. They've all got a few
- 9:36Speaker 2: pegs on the I've worked on the many TV shows
- 9:40Speaker 2: where this has happened. I think the guest on show
- 9:43Speaker 2: so this has happened. I think the difference is here
- 9:45Speaker 2: is that this is a really serious, serious topic and
- 9:49Speaker 2: so fashion and fire doesn't really mix. But let's be
- 9:55Speaker 2: big boys and girls here. TV is a visual medium
- 10:00Speaker 2: and they want you to look great, and a lot
- 10:02Speaker 2: of people on TV are very good looking, including David,
- 10:07Speaker 2: and so the public is upset about this, but at
- 10:11Speaker 2: the same time they reward cute people on TV. So
- 10:14Speaker 2: if you don't like that David Muir is a is
- 10:18Speaker 2: a very handsome, very stylish person who clearly who clearly
- 10:23Speaker 2: cares about what he looks like, then watch a different show.
- 10:27Speaker 2: That's the only way you will you will change it here.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I think the shock here it's like the Wizard of Ours.
- 10:32Speaker 2: We pulled back the curtain. And on television this happens
- 10:38Speaker 2: all the time. All happens in movies, happens on music videos, so.
- 10:45Speaker 1: You'll catch a little bit of the little flaws that
- 10:47Speaker 1: you see. And I think also we're used to, and
- 10:50Speaker 1: not to make a comparison, but we are used to
- 10:52Speaker 1: someone like Anderson Cooper, who is a lot more hands on.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Anderson doesn't like you know, we've seen Anderson like Russian
- 10:58Speaker 1: too earthquakes and rescue bodies like I'm talking like literally
- 11:02Speaker 1: Andrews and has done that like in the Haiti earthquakes.
- 11:04Speaker 1: And he's not self conscious about his physical appearance. Right,
- 11:08Speaker 1: we see the difference.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I get, although I did have once drinks Patinos
- 11:14Speaker 2: with the big executive from CNN, and they said, during
- 11:18Speaker 2: the hurricanes, they love to put Chris Cromo and Anderson
- 11:21Speaker 2: in tight black shirts hoping they would get wet, and
- 11:25Speaker 2: they called them internally the hurricane hunks. Oh my, and
- 11:31Speaker 2: that's c they're all at it. Oh, they're all guilty, guilty, Okay,
- 11:37Speaker 2: moving a long, It might be the end of the
- 11:39Speaker 2: era for the Kardashians. Let me explain to the Kardashians
- 11:42Speaker 2: have been in our lives now over a decade, and
- 11:44Speaker 2: we keep saying, oh, they're fifteen minutes are up there,
- 11:47Speaker 2: fifteen minutes up And it's not. They've got a billion
- 11:49Speaker 2: dollar empire to prove it.
- 11:50Speaker 3: However, there's a new fashion.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Newsletter called Lime Street, and a really great reporter there,
- 11:55Speaker 2: Laurence Sherman, who really is very, very smart, is saying
- 11:59Speaker 2: that we're at the end of the Kardashian era. Let
- 12:02Speaker 2: me explain what she has to say, and it makes
- 12:04Speaker 2: a lot of sense to me. She said, we've moved
- 12:07Speaker 2: to a new era of raw authenticity like podcasters and
- 12:12Speaker 2: YouTube stars, and the Kardashians are not raw. They're very
- 12:16Speaker 2: very polished, they're very very tailored, and they're not quite
- 12:19Speaker 2: as authentic as this new generation of particularly TikTok creators
- 12:26Speaker 2: and people you see on YouTube who really are shockingly honest,
- 12:32Speaker 2: Lots of them not wearing makeup, lots of them don't
- 12:35Speaker 2: have scripts, the sort of opposite of what the Kardashians
- 12:40Speaker 2: have been doing for the last decade. If you go
- 12:41Speaker 2: to the Kardashian's Instagram page, it's fabulous, but it's not raw.
- 12:46Speaker 2: It is so producing, it is so polished, it's so glamorous.
- 12:51Speaker 2: It really does feel like a Vogue magazine. It's absolutely shiny.
- 12:57Speaker 2: They don't want that anymore.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you're really Yeah.
- 13:00Speaker 1: And also, you know, they got caught a few times,
- 13:02Speaker 1: remember all like the bad photoshop scandals, like they had
- 13:05Speaker 1: an extra hand on their leg once by mistake. Because
- 13:08Speaker 1: they are so overly produced, they make mistakes and photoshop.
- 13:12Speaker 1: So I think you're right, But yeah, I don't know
- 13:15Speaker 1: if we'll ever be done with them. That done, they've
- 13:18Speaker 1: established a very serious brand. Now Kim has gone into
- 13:21Speaker 1: more serious film work.
- 13:22Speaker 3: I don't know, I don't.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you're well. A friend of mine said, even if
- 13:25Speaker 2: we get fifty percent less Kim, it's still a lot
- 13:28Speaker 2: if anybody else is still a lot of game whether
- 13:30Speaker 2: that successful. But it is interesting how times change, have
- 13:34Speaker 2: feelings changed, sensibilities change. Maybe we've moved on, okay, quickly
- 13:38Speaker 2: before we get a break. Jeane's Smart, you know her
- 13:41Speaker 2: from Hacks, an award winning actress, she just won the
- 13:45Speaker 2: Golden Globe. Has I think a very very strong serious
- 13:49Speaker 2: message to Hollywood. What is she saying?
- 13:52Speaker 1: Yeah, so, I mean winning actress Geene Smart. She is
- 13:54Speaker 1: taking a bold stand urging Hollywood to skip these award
- 13:57Speaker 1: shows this season and instead readirec those funds to support
- 14:01Speaker 1: the Los Angeles firefighters and the police and the other
- 14:04Speaker 1: relief efforts because this is one of the most devastating
- 14:06Speaker 1: fires in our history. It's big. So she's the star
- 14:10Speaker 1: of HBO's Hacks, like you mentioned, and she shared her
- 14:12Speaker 1: thoughts on Instagram. She called for the TV networks and
- 14:15Speaker 1: organizations to step up and prioritize the city's recovery from
- 14:19Speaker 1: the devastating wildfires instead of having the show. So she said,
- 14:23Speaker 1: no award shows this winter. Use the money for donations,
- 14:26Speaker 1: and she said that you know it can go to
- 14:28Speaker 1: groups like Project angel Food. I think that's maryam Williamson's
- 14:32Speaker 1: I forgot who opens that, but it's a great organization.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Animal rescue organizations.
- 14:36Speaker 2: They need knows.
- 14:37Speaker 1: So yeah, so she's just saying, hey, she's made it
- 14:39Speaker 1: clear where her priorities are, which is a comment that
- 14:41Speaker 1: was made by Hollywood Insider, and they say she's willing
- 14:44Speaker 1: to forego the glitz and the glamour for a call
- 14:46Speaker 1: she believes in, and we must also call out she's
- 14:48Speaker 1: a front runner herself.
- 14:50Speaker 2: She's given up the season, she's going to win these awards.
- 14:52Speaker 2: She said, I don't want anything, so I want you
- 14:54Speaker 2: to help help people in trouble, help people in danger.
- 14:58Speaker 2: I really like this, and keep you a magic the
- 15:00Speaker 2: optics while Hollywood is still burning people dressing diamonds and
- 15:05Speaker 2: dresses doing the red carpet for the for the Oscars.
- 15:08Speaker 2: It would look terrible. It would confirm all the stereotypes
- 15:13Speaker 2: of out of touch elite liberal actors. And I think
- 15:17Speaker 2: that's a look that at the minute is certainly not
- 15:20Speaker 2: a good one. So I'm with Gene on this, and
- 15:22Speaker 2: I'm really too. I really like her bravery for speaking up,
- 15:27Speaker 2: and let's be honest, she's doing herself out of a
- 15:31Speaker 2: lot of awards by saying that she's the front runner,
- 15:34Speaker 2: and so if I was, if I knew I was
- 15:35Speaker 2: going to lose, I'd say, oh, yes, let's cancel this.
- 15:38Speaker 2: But if you and up for an award, I might
- 15:41Speaker 2: not be so quick. But you're a better person than
- 15:44Speaker 2: I am. Okay, we're going to take a quick break
- 15:46Speaker 2: and we will be right back. Welcome back to The Naughty,
- 15:50Speaker 2: But night, have your heast to im shoot it with
- 15:51Speaker 2: our different Corey Andrew. Hey, Corey, let's get to the
- 15:54Speaker 2: polls that that a last year we talked about Jessica
- 15:56Speaker 2: Elbert and cash while and breaking up after ealing seventeen Yes,
- 16:01Speaker 2: our question was are you surprised about here all let's
- 16:06Speaker 2: have a look. Seventy percent surprised. But I feel by
- 16:10Speaker 2: some of the comments that you just don't care.
- 16:14Speaker 1: You're not surprise who who?
- 16:16Speaker 3: I know? You just did?
- 16:17Speaker 2: You weren't into it. So I love that the naughties
- 16:19Speaker 2: come to this show for me and the co host,
- 16:22Speaker 2: but you do come for the gossip too. And it
- 16:24Speaker 2: was a terrible mistake to lead with Jessica Albert. It
- 16:28Speaker 2: might be our lowest rated show in the history of
- 16:31Speaker 2: The Naughty. But does I think I agree Noughty? Is
- 16:34Speaker 2: I just not sure I care.
- 16:37Speaker 1: I mean she's well, she became more of a morgul
- 16:39Speaker 1: now she her brand, so she's not really been in
- 16:41Speaker 1: the public spotlight.
- 16:42Speaker 2: She was hot four minutes for a second. She asked
- 16:45Speaker 2: for a second. Oh well, naughty's well, lesson learned, no more,
- 16:48Speaker 2: Jessica Elber leads. We'll cover is no, but not as
