  Speaker 2: you're not sitting down on your. Gift you're grateful for

  Speaker 2: the things That god has given. You you, know we're

  Speaker 2: not perfect by. Far we all have our, journeys we

  Speaker 2: all have things that but for, me And i'm just

  Speaker 2: gonna speak on. Me you, KNOW i wasn't the perfect

  Speaker 2: person growing. Up you, KNOW i have some things that you,

  Speaker 2: Know god had to truly deliver me from so THAT

  Speaker 2: i can be right here WHERE i. Am BUT i

  Speaker 2: realized that those things THAT i, endured those things THAT

  Speaker 2: i went, through it wasn't always for, me but it
• 18:28
  Speaker 2: was for the people THAT i was gonna come in.

  Speaker 2: Contact never realized THAT i was gonna be able to

  Speaker 2: do a lot of the things That i'm doing, now

  Speaker 2: because you're talking about a little old country girl from Level,

  Speaker 2: Lands South, carolina born In, anderson but mostly raised in

  Speaker 2: a little small. Community everybody in my little small community

  Speaker 2: was either my first cousin or my second character. Cousin

  Speaker 2: but a long story, SHORT i never thought THAT i

  Speaker 2: would be the author of over one hundred and eighty literary.

  Speaker 2: Works WOULD i be a podcast host or a owner

  Speaker 2: of a network with hosts and a magazine? Owner something

  Speaker 2: THAT i never, dreamed nothing THAT i ever thought THAT

  Speaker 2: way and allow him to do what he said he

  Speaker 2: would do for, us and just trust him even when

  Speaker 2: Ministry what was that thing that you said that changed

  Speaker 2: you and made you want to become a, minister made

  Speaker 2: you want to become an, author that really poked you

  Speaker 2: into the place where you are. Today, Well i'll.

  Speaker 1: Tell, You Queen. Angela you know my background is. Alcoholism

  Speaker 1: my daddy, drank all of my sisters, drinks my brother
• 20:32
  Speaker 1: drank and so guess what the baby as a family drank.

  Speaker 1: Too so by the TIME i TURNED i guess about thirty,
• 20:41
  Speaker 1: SIX i had lost EVERYTHING i ever. HAD i. WAS
• 20:51
  Speaker 1: i don't even think at that point in, TIME i
• 20:53
  Speaker 1: was a functioning. ALCOHOLIC i. WAS i was just an,
• 20:57
  Speaker 1: alcoholic you, know AND i had my, life you, KNOW i.
• 21:03
  Speaker 1: DIDN'T i didn't even Like, god you, KNOW i MEAN
• 21:05
  Speaker 1: i knew that there was A, god you. KNOW i
• 21:08
  Speaker 1: remember it's you, know because my mother had called me
• 21:11
  Speaker 1: that my mother was the only person in my family
• 21:13
  Speaker 1: that my immediate, family that is that never you, know
• 21:17
  Speaker 1: touched any type of alcohol and was always against, it
• 21:21
  Speaker 1: who was always trying to pour out our bottles and
• 21:24
  Speaker 1: hide our bottles and break our. Bottles and you, know
• 21:27
  Speaker 1: but can you know if you break an alcoholics, bottle
• 21:31
  Speaker 1: all they do is go get another, one and this
• 21:33
  Speaker 1: time they put it in a different. Place so so
• 21:37
  Speaker 1: that that's kind of WHERE i. Was and SO i
• 21:39
  Speaker 1: got myself in such a mess In. COLORADO i had
• 21:45
  Speaker 1: two children at the, time well ACTUALLY i had three,
• 21:48
  Speaker 1: children but two was baby was, minors and you, KNOW
• 21:53
  Speaker 1: i just put them in the. Car my ex old
• 21:56
  Speaker 1: man was trying to take them away from me BECAUSE
• 21:59
  Speaker 1: i was such a terrible, alcoholic you, know AND i was.
• 22:03
  Speaker 1: RUNNING i was just. RUNNING i didn't know WHERE i
• 22:07
  Speaker 1: wanted to go or WHAT i wanted to. Do BUT
• 22:10
  Speaker 1: i had this friend that lived here In, texas and she,
• 22:14
  Speaker 1: said IF i come To, texas then things would be,
• 22:18
  Speaker 1: different you, know just come for a week or. Two
• 22:20
  Speaker 1: and the promise was WHEN i walked through her front,
• 22:24
  Speaker 1: door there was gonna be a battle Of canadian club
• 22:27
  Speaker 1: on the counter waiting just for. Me and sure, enough
• 22:31
  Speaker 1: he held up her end of the, bargain and sure,
• 22:33
  Speaker 1: ENOUGH i put my two little babies in the car
• 22:35
  Speaker 1: AND i drove all the way From colorado To. Texas
• 22:38
  Speaker 1: it took me three days to get here BECAUSE i
• 22:40
  Speaker 1: was an, acaholic you know. WHAT i had to pull
• 22:42
  Speaker 1: over and get another. Street but WHEN i got here
• 22:45
  Speaker 1: a little DID i know that that bottle was gonna
• 22:47
  Speaker 1: be cursed or. Something because that was the last bottle
• 22:50
  Speaker 1: of ALCOHOL i ever. Drank it made me to tremendously.
• 22:55
  Speaker 1: SICK i ended up in the, hospital and the strength
• 23:00
  Speaker 1: thing about being in the hospital was that that was
• 23:03
  Speaker 1: this man that was in my hospital. Room but he
• 23:06
  Speaker 1: wasn't a. Doctor and you, KNOW i tell this story
• 23:10
  Speaker 1: because it's so real that it's like it's. Unreal but
• 23:14
  Speaker 1: he was absolutely. THERE i remember him telling me BECAUSE
• 23:18
  Speaker 1: i asked him who was he and he said he
• 23:20
  Speaker 1: was an air conditioner man and he was there to
• 23:23
  Speaker 1: sixty air Condition but you know WHAT i. MEAN i
• 23:25
  Speaker 1: was kind of in and. Out but it was one
• 23:28
  Speaker 1: thing that he said to. Me he came and. Asked
• 23:30
  Speaker 1: he asked me why WAS i? There AND i told
• 23:33
  Speaker 1: him that it was, because you, know AND i usually
• 23:37
  Speaker 1: he tried to have the fact THAT i was an,
• 23:39
  Speaker 1: alcoholics but for some, reason you, KNOW i told him the.
• 23:44
  Speaker 1: TRUTH i, SAID i drank too much and he, said
• 23:48
  Speaker 1: why is he? Drink AND i, SAID i don't. KNOW i.
• 23:52
  Speaker 1: DRINK i think Because i'm. Afraid and that man, said
• 23:55
  Speaker 1: dun't you. Know guy didn't give you a spirit of,
• 23:57
  Speaker 1: fear but he gave me one of flower of, love
• 24:00
  Speaker 1: the sound. Mind and then he, said. Trust you should
• 24:04
  Speaker 1: trust in The lord with all your heart and lean
• 24:07
  Speaker 1: out to their own, understanding and all your ways acknowledge,
• 24:11
  Speaker 1: him and you will direct your. Past and that was
• 24:14
  Speaker 1: the LAST i ever seen of that. Man WHEN i
• 24:17
  Speaker 1: got out of the. Hostel there's two things THAT i
• 24:19
  Speaker 1: knew that those two scriptures they had went so deep
• 24:23
  Speaker 1: in my intervening that that's ALL i could think, about you.

  Speaker 1: Know and the miracle WAS i didn't have a desire
• 24:32
  Speaker 1: anymore to. Drink so for thirty YEARS i stayed, sober
• 24:38
  Speaker 1: AND i got closer and closer and closer To. God
• 24:42
  Speaker 1: during those thirty, YEARS i Loved. God at that, POINT
• 24:46
  Speaker 1: i realized That god wasn't the one that was making
• 24:50
  Speaker 1: my life. MISERABLE i realized That god was my, father my,
• 24:54
  Speaker 1: savior my. FRIENDS i like griptures like they were just
• 24:58
  Speaker 1: somebody was just poor bring them into. Me AND i
• 25:02
  Speaker 1: just wanted to Serve god with the rest of my.
• 25:04
  Speaker 1: Life and SO i found me a. CHURCH i prayed
• 25:08
  Speaker 1: and Ask god that helped me find the church THAT
• 25:12
  Speaker 1: i could grow, in not just sit there and do,
• 25:15
  Speaker 1: nothing but you, know not just show up onside, me
• 25:18
  Speaker 1: but a church WHERE i was going to be an active.
• 25:21
  Speaker 1: Limber And god after all that for, me and then
• 25:26
  Speaker 1: he helped me by giving me THE i always did
• 25:30
  Speaker 1: like to, write you, know AND i always tried to write,
• 25:32
  Speaker 1: poetry but my poetry never went anywhere BECAUSE i was
• 25:36
  Speaker 1: too busy drinking AND i was. WRITING i was writing
• 25:39
  Speaker 1: BECAUSE i was mad at. YOU i wasn't writing For,
• 25:43
  Speaker 1: god you, Know and so this Way god changed all of.
• 25:47
  Speaker 1: That LIKE, i LIKE i, SAID i am a living.
• 25:51
  Speaker 1: Hepsimony god has done the miracle work in my. Life
• 25:54
  Speaker 1: AND i know that it was nobody but. Him things
• 25:58
  Speaker 1: that happened to me that Only god could have. Orchustrated

  Speaker 1: Only god could have made this. HAPPEN i made that
• 26:07
  Speaker 1: happen for, me and it's Not it has not been

  Speaker 1: an easy, walk BUT i was stable BECAUSE i Knew god's.

  Speaker 1: WORD i knew That god was wishing no matter WHAT

  Speaker 1: i had to. Say and it never occurred to me

  Speaker 1: to take a drink to help me to get through
• 26:29
  Speaker 1: any kind of. SITUATION i have my oldest. Son he

  Speaker 1: ended up going to, prison AND i walked through that

  Speaker 1: sober With. God you. KNOW i go even to this
• 26:45
  Speaker 1: day he's still there AND i go AND i visited
• 26:47
  Speaker 1: with him and we have the best. Time where there
