• 0:14
  SPEAKER_00: Hostess, Reverend Honey Borden.
• 0:16
  SPEAKER_00: Much love, everyone.
• 0:18
SPEAKER_00: It is alignment and embodiment, focus, as we are here in a community together, navigating through life's ebb and flow, finding ways that we can really embody God's presence within.
• 0:36
SPEAKER_00: So much love to all of you.
• 0:39
SPEAKER_00: Trusting you are so well on this week of thank on this week of Valentine's Day, not Thanksgiving.
• 0:49
SPEAKER_01: You're thinking of the thanks that we are giving because it's been a beautiful, blessed time of celebration.
• 0:58
SPEAKER_01: A great time of what I would say a remembrance to really feel the wonderful community with my birthday just happening yesterday and the celebration of where people really get to express their blessings.
• 1:13
SPEAKER_01: I feel there's something important when it comes to these magical moments in our life because it's not only just to receive, but to see how one expresses one themselves in the joy, the happiness, and the gratitude.
• 1:25
SPEAKER_01: And that has been so beautiful to receive so many blessings, wishes, and just beautiful loving thoughts.
• 1:35
SPEAKER_01: So thank you, each and every one of you, that have sent many, many messages that I will be taking the next several days, if not weeks, to get back to.
• 1:44
  SPEAKER_01: Hopefully within this week.
• 1:46
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we're excited.
• 1:47
SPEAKER_01: We're very, very happy to be on this warm island here in Kauai, compared to the single-digit temperatures back on the East Coast.
• 1:58
SPEAKER_01: But most important, we want to thank you.
• 2:00
SPEAKER_01: Thank you for joining us.
• 2:01
SPEAKER_01: How are you guys doing?
• 2:02
SPEAKER_01: How is this wonderful time frame of February now that we're ending our first week and bringing forth what I call another round of celebration energy that I feel grateful to have just passed a monumental age of 50?
• 2:18
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so you just had your big celebration of 50, and you get to really experience the dream that you wanted.
• 2:28
  SPEAKER_00: Isn't it fun?
• 2:28
SPEAKER_00: You had this dream for so long.
• 2:30
SPEAKER_00: We attempted to come to Kauai three different times, and it didn't align till for your birthday.
• 2:39
SPEAKER_00: And that's what your heart really wanted.
• 2:41
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 2:41
SPEAKER_00: You really, really wanted that.
• 2:43
SPEAKER_00: It's been fun witnessing you just enjoyed so much, so much to just experience 50 the way you wanted it.
• 2:52
SPEAKER_01: It was beautiful, and it doesn't even feel like 50.
• 2:55
SPEAKER_01: It feels like more like 30 for me.
• 2:57
SPEAKER_01: The wisdom, definitely of 50, but the body, I hear that number, I I still don't feel that resonance with it because there's just I don't know.
• 3:07
SPEAKER_01: If I I feel like 50 is it's the middle age, but I don't feel that middle age.
• 3:13
SPEAKER_01: I feel this youth, vibrant energy within me.
• 3:16
SPEAKER_01: Obviously, the 50 brings wisdom, which I can connect with, but I still feel very young and vibrant in this age.
• 3:25
SPEAKER_01: Not saying that 50-year-olds are not vibrant, but it's just a number, you know?
• 3:30
SPEAKER_01: And it's sometimes hard to identify or feel it.
• 3:33
SPEAKER_01: So I'm still working my way to say, wow, am I actually in my 50s?
• 3:37
  SPEAKER_01: It's trippy.
• 3:39
SPEAKER_01: It's very trippy because like there's this old judgment, or like, you know, once you get to your 50s, it's A-A-R-P.
• 3:45
  SPEAKER_01: It's almost retirement.
• 3:47
SPEAKER_01: It's like you get what senior citizen discounts.
• 3:51
SPEAKER_01: Like it's just funny to see what happens when you get to certain ages.
• 3:57
SPEAKER_01: I feel like when we're young at heart, the ages just start to disappear because you're just grateful for every year that you've learned the wisdom that has been put forth, which has definitely been a many decades of great wisdom that I'm thankful to share here.
• 4:12
SPEAKER_01: And most important experience with you, love.
• 4:14
SPEAKER_01: It's been a wonderful journey of just growing and evolving, expanding and learning.
• 4:19
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's a it's a journey.
• 4:21
SPEAKER_00: Embodiment has so many different phases of it, and and certainly different, we've been together one decade, you would say.
• 4:32
SPEAKER_01: One fifth of my life.
• 4:33
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 4:35
SPEAKER_00: And and so 50, this on this trip, you had a couple of goals that you really wanted to fulfill.
• 4:43
SPEAKER_00: One was for sure, you always wanted to surf in Hawaii, but not just Hawaii, you wanted to do it in Kauai, so you got to experience that.
• 4:53
SPEAKER_01: That was great because I was a little nervous because I know during winter time the waves get really big here.
• 4:57
SPEAKER_01: And when we first arrived, you were knocked out, but I kept hearing these huge waves crash against the cliffs that were right around the corner.
• 5:05
SPEAKER_01: I was like, am I going to be able to go out and surf?
• 5:07
SPEAKER_01: So the swell came down in beautiful Annelay Bay here in the north side of Kauai brought forth a nice mellow, relaxing area compared to some of the other peaks that were going off.
• 5:19
SPEAKER_01: So yeah, it felt very, very beautiful to not only surf, but just feel Mama Ocean and feel mama ocean in the warmth because I remember you were telling me how the water was pretty cold in Kauai.
• 5:29
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, when I had come, it was actually pretty cold.
• 5:32
SPEAKER_00: And it was so nice that it was warmer.
• 5:35
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 5:35
  SPEAKER_00: And Pacific was warmer.
• 5:37
  SPEAKER_01: I didn't need a rash guard or a shirt.
• 5:39
SPEAKER_01: I just went out there and to have that ability and to also check out the Napale coastline in a boat ride that was probably a little more adventurous than expected with rough seas and the weather, but that was another adventure.
• 5:54
SPEAKER_01: And I feel kawaii itself is an adventure because it's definitely a rugged, raw, real place.
• 6:01
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 6:02
SPEAKER_01: Nature comes out at so many ways from the plants to the tropical fruit to just the coastline, the cliffs.
• 6:09
  SPEAKER_01: It's very raw here.
• 6:10
  SPEAKER_00: It's super, super raw.
• 6:12
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 6:12
SPEAKER_00: And it brings all of that out, and it's so beautiful again.
• 6:15
SPEAKER_00: And we got a chance to for you to also experience the farmers market.
• 6:21
  SPEAKER_00: Oh wow, yeah.
• 6:21
SPEAKER_00: And you wanted to really your passion for farmers market and the tropical fruits love.
• 6:27
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I feel like when we eat fruit, it's one thing, but when you get to the heart and taste the organic food, like tonight when we had our salad, the parsley was so fresh.
• 6:39
SPEAKER_01: And the dandelion leaves were unbelievable.
• 6:43
SPEAKER_01: So, you know, for those that crave really good tropical fruit, fresh fruits.
• 6:48
SPEAKER_00: Well, the the mango was mango, not mango, papaya was out of this world.
• 6:55
SPEAKER_00: So different, so different in taste.
• 6:58
SPEAKER_00: And of course the fresh cane sugar.
• 7:00
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
• 7:01
  SPEAKER_01: That was incredible.
• 7:07
SPEAKER_01: Where you can squeeze the juice out of them.
• 7:09
  SPEAKER_01: They're just very delicious.
• 7:11
SPEAKER_01: I feel, you know, for those that have never been to Hawaii, it's such a different country, it feels like over here, because you're detached and it takes quite a bit of hours to get here.
• 7:21
SPEAKER_01: I mean, it was 11 hours just to get to Honolulu from DC and then another, you know, half an hour to get here.
• 7:28
SPEAKER_01: So it's definitely a highly recommended place, and I could not be more grateful to celebrate it with you, honey, and all of our beautiful beloved friends from the live birthday video that was inspired through you, honey, and sharing the the gifts.
• 7:42
  SPEAKER_00: You had fun.
• 7:43
SPEAKER_00: You had really fun doing your birthday celebration.
• 7:47
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 7:48
SPEAKER_01: I thought the epic point was when my dad came as a cardinal.
• 7:51
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 7:52
SPEAKER_01: Most people that are not aware, when I when I speak to my father and I'm out in nature, a cardinal usually comes by.
• 7:59
SPEAKER_01: So we've had these other cardinals, which I just researched.
• 8:02
SPEAKER_01: There's these redhead cardinals that their body is just the top is red, but the rest is gray.
• 8:10
SPEAKER_01: But this full-fledged red, and that was like stark red cardinal came right in and was chirping, and I knew immediately it was my dad.
• 8:21
SPEAKER_01: It's great to have that sacred energy come in on my birthday and be blessed.
• 8:27
SPEAKER_01: Let alone what I would say was one of the highlights, honey, was you taking me to the Hindu temple.
• 8:32
SPEAKER_00: I know you were very resistant.
• 8:33
SPEAKER_00: I was like, you gotta come, you just gotta come see it.
• 8:36
SPEAKER_00: Is this there's this the banyan tree there is one of the most exquisite, it's just an experience being with that banyan tree.
• 8:46
SPEAKER_01: And resistance in I was pretty tired from the first two days, and I was hoping to maybe see it today or another day, but I let the resistance go because I don't know if every guys have ever gone on a vacation and you had a limited amount of time, so you're trying to squeeze in every little adventure or every little key visit, and I could just tell my body was going.
• 9:10
SPEAKER_01: And I remember how I said, We only have a half an hour.
• 9:12
SPEAKER_01: I'm like, we'll go tomorrow, and your knee started hurting, so I could definitely tell myself.
• 9:16
SPEAKER_01: But usually when I see that resistance and honey has a higher sight, then I just let go of it.
• 9:21
SPEAKER_01: So I did that after quite a bit, and it was phenomenal, especially with trees and the rudarushka forest.
• 9:30
SPEAKER_01: The only one in America that you can walk in the.
• 9:34
SPEAKER_01: And for those that don't know, these are these healing seeds that you make malas out of, and it was extraordinary to walk in that forest and see all the seeds on the ground and just feel another aspect of Kauai and its raw and real nature.
• 9:48
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 9:49
SPEAKER_01: I feel like there's a lot of parts of this island that once you get to, you feel the energy shift, whether it's the port or more of the Lahue touristy, or come to the north end, it just feels like this very magical realm, very peaceful, and places you could just meditate on the beach for hours.
• 10:09
SPEAKER_00: And being around so many animals, it's so it's so incredible.
• 10:14
SPEAKER_00: Like just from sea monk, muk seals to turtles.
• 10:19
SPEAKER_01: What was your favorite animal that you saw on this trip?
• 10:23
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
• 10:24
SPEAKER_00: I mean, the turtles, I have to say, was just uh they were enormous whitewoods.
• 10:29
SPEAKER_00: They were huge, just right there, and just so honored.
• 10:33
SPEAKER_00: I love how the animals are so honored.
• 10:36
SPEAKER_00: Oh, do you know what I saw?
• 10:39
  SPEAKER_00: These wild pigs.
• 10:41
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I did see a wild pig when you were actually when I was driving back the other day, I saw two wild pigs, which are pretty normal in Hawaii.
• 10:49
SPEAKER_01: But you know, I would definitely say you may have been, you know, the turtles may have been your favorite.
• 10:57
SPEAKER_01: But I tell you, when I see these roosters and chickens on the streets, you just have like I almost feel like honey, you turn into a rooster and chicken because you know, once you see them, you're like talking to them.
• 11:08
SPEAKER_00: And I like that one.
• 11:10
SPEAKER_00: And that one just came through the butt in the forest.
• 11:13
SPEAKER_00: That one just came up right to me, and I just started talking to it and giving it food, and it was so, it was just so precious.
• 11:23
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 11:24
  SPEAKER_00: Very, very precious.
• 11:25
SPEAKER_00: The only thing I didn't get a chance to see whales, but because that's what I really, really wanted.
• 11:32
SPEAKER_00: I really wanted to experience that, but it will be another trip.
• 11:36
SPEAKER_01: The seas were a bit rough, and when I saw them, they were quite spectacular to see the little juvenile humpback whales breaching and playing in front of the females.
• 11:46
SPEAKER_01: And just a very wild island.
• 11:48
SPEAKER_01: For those that have never been to Kauai, I highly, highly recommend of this sacred island because you can really feel the the heart of this beautiful island when you get here, especially on the north end.
• 11:59
SPEAKER_00: I feel our listeners are like, wow, they sound way too mellow.
• 12:03
SPEAKER_00: Because we're recording this, we are very mellow and a little tired and grateful at the same time.
• 12:12
SPEAKER_01: And what piece of wisdom would you say, honey, if you were to if the viewers were, you know, listening to you in these five days that we spent here?
• 12:21
SPEAKER_01: What is something that this island may have spoken to or you would like to share with to the viewers that you know that are listening to you since now you're still sitting on this beautiful island?
• 12:36
SPEAKER_00: I feel this island is very different than Maui or Wahu.
• 12:43
  SPEAKER_00: I haven't been to the big island, so I wouldn't know.
• 12:46
SPEAKER_00: This one when you come to just be very present.
• 12:53
SPEAKER_00: This one the the way it breathes is very, very different.
• 13:00
SPEAKER_00: And the sun brings out a lot of joy, the rain brings out a lot of tears, the the it's it's very very you're very much with it.
• 13:12
SPEAKER_00: I feel the for me the rawness lets you be very raw.
• 13:21
SPEAKER_00: There are all these like I would have never ever gone on a couple of these hikes.
• 13:29
SPEAKER_00: I can't even call them hikes to try to get down to the beach because they're all cliffs and it's just so uncomfortable to go through the the the bushes to like the how would I even call it like the trail or the pathway trying to get down that's just so rugged and and and the way you gotta stretch yourself to get there.
• 13:58
SPEAKER_00: So there's a lot of stretching, I would say, through discomfort, yet you get to ex experience extraordinary sights, and I feel for me what I would say the wisdom is it it's really in the nature of the trees.
• 14:20
SPEAKER_00: The trees fascinate me here.
• 14:23
SPEAKER_00: There's so many avatar trees here, and and I loved seeing the eucalyptus rainbow trees.
• 14:32
SPEAKER_00: As many as I could touch, I did, because there's something so incredible about the trees here.
• 14:41
  SPEAKER_00: They're so they're they're like people.
• 14:45
SPEAKER_00: People in terms of the soul is so vivid and present.
• 14:51
SPEAKER_00: So if you come here, for those of you who haven't come, just be very present with the trees because to be near them and just feel their magnificence is so so incredible.
• 15:10
  SPEAKER_00: It's such a such a deep blessing and a gift.
• 15:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I would definitely concur that you said the island breathes, it's like it breathes, and then the elements really accentuate that breath.
• 15:26
SPEAKER_01: Like you feel the breath of the sun, the breath of the water, the breath of the air, the breath of the land.
• 15:31
SPEAKER_01: Like it's so spectacular when we can just be present and see and feel what's before you.
• 15:41
SPEAKER_01: A lot of a lot of us in this time of modern age, we can um you know be very distracted in our routine of phones and computer and technology.
• 15:52
SPEAKER_01: Yet when you leave it all and you go out there and you just feel the rawness of you know the sand underneath your feet or the trees that are just in such geometric shapes.
• 16:04
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I feel like when we were driving, we'd see these trees that almost look like galactic trees or the pineapple trees or places we'd look at and be like, wow, look at that tree.
• 16:13
SPEAKER_01: It just has such a majestic art to it that you just want to stop and stare at the beauty of it.
• 16:21
SPEAKER_01: And then when the sun comes out, you feel the warmth of just the blazing rays, and it really has like an extreme nature here that when you can really take time to embrace it, it to me it filled my tank up.
• 16:36
SPEAKER_01: I mean, a lot of time when you go to these cultures, we used to say it takes two weeks to like really blend in.
• 16:41
SPEAKER_01: We were here less than a week, and I could definitely say that you know, when traveling, you need to give yourself some time just to embrace because it kind of you gotta wash off some of the areas that we're so attuned to.
• 16:54
SPEAKER_01: So to be in Kauai and being this Hawaiian nature, it it slows you down.
• 16:59
SPEAKER_01: As you could tell, we're probably talking much slower, more mellow, and in a place that we are our cup is full.
• 17:07
SPEAKER_01: And you know, just very grateful to have this opportunity to celebrate this with all of you and to make these memories to really honor how precious life is, because life is a celebration.
• 17:19
  SPEAKER_00: Indeed.
• 17:22
SPEAKER_00: You know what it reminded me, remind me of when you were speaking, it was I was reminded of all these signs, how many people died at this cliff, how many people died at this cliff, how many people died at that cliff.
• 17:35
SPEAKER_00: So, you know, raw, it is raw, just be careful, falls, rocks falling from here, there's just this is thinking positive things for going to death.
• 17:46
  SPEAKER_00: No, it's it's just funny.
• 17:49
SPEAKER_00: And for those of you who did join live, Michael's live stream, and you guessed, you emailed us guessing where we were.
• 17:58
SPEAKER_00: For those of you that guessed right, you're gonna get the video end of this week, and Michael's amazing meditation video.
• 18:07
SPEAKER_00: So you're gonna get that.
• 18:08
SPEAKER_00: And for those of you who actually listened to the last podcast of Michael from last week and was able to make a comment.
• 18:21
SPEAKER_01: You sent or tagged it on there.
• 18:23
SPEAKER_01: On tag some people are having a difficulty where they make the comment.
• 18:27
SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's just on the yeah.
• 18:30
SPEAKER_00: Well, on the podcast on Apple, you just there's an area you just review.
• 18:36
SPEAKER_00: You well, you make a comment, you just put a review.
• 18:39
  SPEAKER_01: Okay, it's a reasonable.
• 18:40
SPEAKER_00: And you take a screenshot, right?
• 18:42
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 18:42
SPEAKER_00: So for those that did that, they had they get the chance to win Michael's private session.
• 18:48
  SPEAKER_00: So that's really fun.
• 18:50
SPEAKER_00: So we had a few prizes giveaway.
• 18:53
  SPEAKER_00: That's really, really fun.
• 18:54
SPEAKER_01: That was sign up for the newsletter.
• 18:56
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that would be an opportunity being a drawing for a$50 certificate, gift certificates, matching the five O's or the five O's.
• 19:04
SPEAKER_00: So a lot of fun, fun, fun giving away on those.
• 19:08
SPEAKER_00: And yeah, that's what we have on the way to Laguna.
• 19:14
SPEAKER_00: You have some clients, we're all just this is just a very chilled, chilled, chilled conversation.
• 19:22
SPEAKER_01: And one thing I would like to say is in life, when we're moving through, let's just say, challenges, or we're moving through areas of discomfort, what I feel this island has really taught me is just to how just to be present as much as possible to bring that awareness to the now.
• 19:48
SPEAKER_01: And many times the mind or the head, or just scenarios can bump us out of our normal foundation, and yet, you know, my time spent here, the more I could just be present and see what was all around me.
• 20:05
SPEAKER_01: It helped me ground, even though there was a lot of times I felt like this you know, extraordinary high level of energy just being here.
• 20:15
SPEAKER_01: When I would bring my attention back to the breath, it gave me the opportunity to really ground and root in.
• 20:21
SPEAKER_01: And that was one area that I felt yesterday at the Hindu temple.
• 20:24
SPEAKER_01: I'm very grateful that honey took me was just this feeling when I was doing a meditation of to root ourselves into the ground.
• 20:33
SPEAKER_01: And I heard the words come out of my mouth when I was meditating and to stretch our arms like tree branches and to expand our God essence, our God Almighty presence through our hands as we're rooted on this earth.
• 20:47
SPEAKER_01: And it was a great way to feel this level of aligning and embodying to God Almighty because we as conduits of this divine energy, when we're rooted in the ground, we're stable, we're strong, we're anchored.
• 21:01
SPEAKER_01: And then when we stretch our arms up, we're able to, I remember like hearing like stretch your arms up to the universal, you know, map and web, and that's just coming through the energy.
• 21:12
SPEAKER_01: So it's like infinite ability to stretch your arms into what we can expand, illuminate, and most important, co-create on this beautiful planet of earth that I was very enthralled with with these ancient banyan trees.
• 21:26
SPEAKER_01: That once again, honey, thank you for taking me to this wonderful Hindu temple in Kauai.
• 21:31
SPEAKER_00: I can't wait till for you to post the photo so people can see how remarkable it is.
• 21:37
