- 0:00Speaker 1: So how is your Halloween?
- 0:03Speaker 2: Well, as I predicted, trick or treaters hardly any. Two
- 0:09Speaker 2: groups of two families. First family had two kids, second
- 0:14Speaker 2: family three kids, So a total of five trick or treaters.
- 0:17Speaker 3: That's it.
- 0:18Speaker 2: We bought the smallest bag of candy possible and there's.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Still a whole lot of it left.
- 0:24Speaker 2: But the first group that came was it was pretty
- 0:29Speaker 2: stunning because there was a little kid, he must have
- 0:33Speaker 2: been three, and he was wearing a David Byrne big
- 0:37Speaker 2: suit from Stop Making that his parents had made for him.
- 0:41Speaker 2: He that is, his parents had made it, obviously made
- 0:45Speaker 2: it and I don't know, it was a cardboard and something.
- 0:48Speaker 2: And so he's wearing that and and my wife and
- 0:51Speaker 2: I are just going on and on about it, and
- 0:53Speaker 2: you know, and then and then his sibling standing next
- 0:58Speaker 2: to him finally went held up the arm of their
- 1:02Speaker 2: costume and there was fringe.
- 1:04Speaker 3: I said, I'm Ozzie Osbourne.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Oh I'm a thing.
- 1:11Speaker 3: I'm Ozzy Osbourne.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Oh that's wonder of Oh but you just can't you
- 1:18Speaker 2: can't top it.
- 1:20Speaker 3: I mean, that's a good that's three or four.
- 1:23Speaker 2: I mean he's just like little tiny kid, but he's
- 1:26Speaker 2: wearing that just I mean it, it was made obviously
- 1:30Speaker 2: for him and it was just great. So and then
- 1:34Speaker 2: I don't remember what the other tricker treaters were. I
- 1:36Speaker 2: think one of them was a pumpkin or something.
- 1:39Speaker 1: But five total, Katie, I'm sending you something super quick.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You got to get it up if you.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, my situation is similar.
- 1:49Speaker 5: First of all, there was a party down the street
- 1:51Speaker 5: that the whole neighborhood was invited to except for you. Yeah,
- 1:57Speaker 5: And so he debated for two days whether we should
- 2:00Speaker 5: go or not for political reasons, and ultimately we just
- 2:03Speaker 5: decided now the hell with it. But I was getting
- 2:07Speaker 5: all things ready for the trigger treaters because I thought,
- 2:09Speaker 5: Friday night, there's gonna be a lot of a lot
- 2:11Speaker 5: of them. There's a party down the street, so they'll
- 2:14Speaker 5: come up from there. And I got the candy ready.
- 2:18Speaker 5: I went through all my comic books and I got,
- 2:20Speaker 5: you know, comic books that I read, and I thought,
- 2:22Speaker 5: here's sack of comicsmen give away some comic books. And
- 2:26Speaker 5: I was getting ready, and then my anxiety kicked in
- 2:29Speaker 5: and I decided I didn't want to see people, and
- 2:31Speaker 5: so I just put a sign up that said take
- 2:34Speaker 5: one help yourselves Happy Halloween, you know. And then we
- 2:38Speaker 5: watched on the ring camera and there were I think
- 2:41Speaker 5: three groups of two. The final group was a group
- 2:46Speaker 5: of three, three girls.
- 2:48Speaker 4: So that was all.
- 2:49Speaker 5: And it's funny because I had I had Marvel comics,
- 2:54Speaker 5: I had DC comics, I had some Star Trek comics
- 2:57Speaker 5: and some Space Ghost comics. Kids didn't want anything to
- 3:00Speaker 5: do with Star Trek or Space Ghost comics. They didn't care,
- 3:04Speaker 5: but they liked the Marvel ones well. But I tune
- 3:08Speaker 5: into the last group of three girls. Sue sent it
- 3:11Speaker 5: to me in the ring camp and they're like.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Oh, look at it. Batman and Robin a cute That
- 3:18Speaker 4: made it worth it. Yeah, that made it worth it
- 3:20Speaker 4: right there.
- 3:21Speaker 5: Yeah it was self serve Halloween Jimmy John's. Yeah, but
- 3:23Speaker 5: that made it worth it.
- 3:25Speaker 1: So my neighborhood traditionally, I don't even close the door.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm standing there with steady stream love kids all night long,
- 3:36Speaker 1: and I love it. Like this group of kind of
- 3:38Speaker 1: the young teenagers came up. There was a Wednesday and
- 3:42Speaker 1: I can't remember, and then there was a mister Hanky
- 3:45Speaker 1: and I said, mister Hanky and he said, see, I
- 3:48Speaker 1: told you, they know who I am. But so I'm
- 3:51Speaker 1: standing there passing, passing not as much as usual, and
- 3:56Speaker 1: my mom calls me. Now, my mom and daddy Gary
- 3:58Speaker 1: live around the corner on a different street. She's like,
- 4:01Speaker 1: you gotta come over and see this. There's a thousand
- 4:04Speaker 1: people here. And I said, I can't leave. I there
- 4:08Speaker 1: will be I got to pass out the candy here.
- 4:11Speaker 1: She's like, just just turn it over to Joe for
- 4:14Speaker 1: a minute, and you got to come see this, all right?
- 4:18Speaker 1: So I go around the corner.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Why a thousand people there?
- 4:22Speaker 1: Because this street that she lives on blocks off the
- 4:25Speaker 1: street and has a festival with a food truck that
- 4:30Speaker 1: has hot mini donuts. So I went over and got
- 4:33Speaker 1: some of those. And then Katie, did you get the picture?
- 4:36Speaker 1: I said. So in the middle of all this, I
- 4:38Speaker 1: get a text from our dentist, doctor Kelly Carroll.
- 4:44Speaker 3: That's the post malone.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Yeah. So, so he had told us the story about
- 4:52Speaker 1: how a post malone lives in his neighborhood and he's
- 4:55Speaker 1: good friends with his dad, and that post malone goes
- 4:58Speaker 1: trick or treating in his neighbor So on Halloween, I
- 5:01Speaker 1: get this picture. X ninety six dot com slash live
- 5:04Speaker 1: and doctor Carroll says, just so you guys don't think
- 5:07Speaker 1: I'm full of s Here's no.
- 5:10Speaker 3: We still think you are.
- 5:11Speaker 1: But I said that to him. I said, well you
- 5:14Speaker 1: still are. But it's a picture of post Malone and
- 5:17Speaker 1: a couple of kids trick or treating at our dentist's house.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I guess one of those kids is his.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Maybe, I guess the younger one probably, but I don't know.
- 5:28Speaker 1: But yeah, so he's not kidding post Malone.
- 5:31Speaker 3: That's not much of a costume though.
- 5:33Speaker 1: No, he's got a Michael Myers T shirt on. It's
- 5:36Speaker 1: a perfectly.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Fine that's Gina or putting on a T shirt with
- 5:41Speaker 2: a it's a Texas chainsaw my mass.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Oh is it?
- 5:45Speaker 3: I think so? But it's not.
- 5:47Speaker 4: I mean, clearly he's dressed as Jelly Roll. You know
- 5:50Speaker 4: that's the cost.
- 5:53Speaker 1: No, that's Michael Myers's Michael. So it was a it
- 5:58Speaker 1: was a good Halloween.
- 6:00Speaker 3: You know, that's what. That's just some guy trick or
- 6:04Speaker 3: treating as post warm. That's not post.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Post alone, it's post Malone.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Let's see.
- 6:10Speaker 5: So many houses were dark and not giving out candy
- 6:14Speaker 5: this year. The house that gave books out was packed.
- 6:17Speaker 5: Oh really, you know, Geane, I'm gonna start giving you
- 6:19Speaker 5: my stack of comics.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Yeah you should. You given to my mom. My mom
- 6:24Speaker 1: ran out of candy really fast, trick or treating, dying out,
- 6:28Speaker 1: Though not in my neighbor they all came to my neighborhood.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Well maybe that's where the people that live in my
- 6:34Speaker 2: neighborhood go. They go to your neighborhood.
- 6:37Speaker 4: Here's a text. We were busier than usual, roughly eighty
- 6:40Speaker 4: total kids.
- 6:41Speaker 5: And we ran out early, even though we bought more
- 6:43Speaker 5: candy than typical years. So I guess it just depends
- 6:45Speaker 5: on your neighborhood.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah, well we've in all the years we've lived there,
- 6:49Speaker 2: we've never had more than a handful
