Schools say losing donation scheme payments would hit budgets
Schools in affluent communities say they can't afford to leave a government scheme that pays them not to ask parents for an annual donation. Nearly 1900 schools are in the donation scheme, almost 300 more than when it began in 2020. Education correspondent John Gerritsen reports.
