- 3:18Speaker 5: be in Tampa. Bro, you're gonna be out for all
- 3:21Speaker 5: of August relaxed.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Oh, I'm not mad at you, mad that you're not

- 3:43Speaker 4: I mean tell you is not.
- 3:45Speaker 5: You know, I've been sounding real confident that this baby's coming.
- 3:50Speaker 1: The doctors were not very confident about it happening within
- 3:53Speaker 1: the next week. So I mean, I'm just look, believe
- 3:55Speaker 1: it or not, mad they know more than me. I'm
- 3:57Speaker 1: just kind of reiterating what they were saying.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Well, with that attitude they do, it's out of my control.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I just got to sit back and give pats on
- 4:05Speaker 1: the back and be like you got this.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Yeah, Doc, you buy no more than me. But you
- 4:09Speaker 4: ever heard these takes? Oh?
- 4:15Speaker 3: If anybody was to give a doctor a take, yeah
- 4:21Speaker 3: would be me.
- 4:23Speaker 5: I mean, the Pelicans, the hell are they doing? We're
- 4:26Speaker 5: doing I even know I don't even trying, but they're not.
- 4:31Speaker 5: They're not trying.
- 4:32Speaker 1: When we were when we were meeting with pediatricans. One
- 4:34Speaker 1: of the doctors. He put us in a duke room
- 4:36Speaker 1: and I was like, you went to duke and he's
- 4:38Speaker 1: like yeah, And I was like, you got this JJ
- 4:39Speaker 1: Raddick jersey up here behind you in the day and
- 4:41Speaker 1: like we we had like a fifteen minute conversation about
- 4:43Speaker 1: duke basketball and Victoria's like, tell can we move this along?
- 4:47Speaker 1: Like we got we got another one of these in
- 4:48Speaker 1: about twenty minutes.
- 4:51Speaker 4: We are not here for you to talk sports random
- 4:53Speaker 4: sports basketball teams. Taite's always here for that.
- 4:59Speaker 5: I don't know anyway, looking forward to get some good
- 5:01Speaker 5: rest and because next week will not be wrestful, and
- 5:05Speaker 5: then Tampa certainly will not be wrestful for you, especially
- 5:09Speaker 5: you got seventeen shows to do per day.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I think for shows because it's Eastern time, so
- 5:14Speaker 3: we'll be on eight to eleven.
- 5:17Speaker 4: It will be nice be eight to eleven, a little sleep.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Extra hour, so it'll be eight to eleven, and then
- 5:23Speaker 3: I think I'm doing one to five Eastern serious, so
- 5:27Speaker 3: an extra hour.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:28Speaker 5: I know a lot of people sec media day or
- 5:30Speaker 5: like like Marler's excited because they like to go and
- 5:34Speaker 5: it's like seen year old buddies they like to go
- 5:36Speaker 5: to the karaoke ice to go out and party. Like,
- 5:40Speaker 5: you ain't gonna catch me there. God, no, I'll go
- 5:43Speaker 5: Hotel bar in the evening. That was That was you
- 5:47Speaker 5: and I. That was our move in ude.
- 5:49Speaker 4: No, we stayed up late last last year. One night
- 5:52Speaker 4: we stayed for like midnight.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Well, it was just you and I down there, and
- 5:58Speaker 3: we were watching the All Star Game, right or like
- 6:03Speaker 3: home run Derby sounds right or something. And we had
- 6:07Speaker 3: just gotten like our deal with Dose Sekis and so
- 6:09Speaker 3: we were very excited, yeah, because it.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Was like we had to do some product testing.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Yeah, and they were probably like these two old guys
- 6:16Speaker 3: drinking dose SEXI Derby.
- 6:24Speaker 5: I do remember that now, mm hmm. But yes, that's
- 6:29Speaker 5: gonna be Tampa. I'm gonna try to get some rest.
- 6:31Speaker 5: I'm gonna try to catch up. I'm gonna do our show.
- 6:34Speaker 5: I'm gonna go watch Marlin put his hand up for
- 6:36Speaker 5: a couple hours, Yeah, and then I'm gonna go get
- 6:39Speaker 5: some rest.
- 6:39Speaker 4: I think it's perfect for me. This is like the
- 6:41Speaker 4: old Man.
- 6:41Speaker 3: So I'm gonna do a show from eight to eleven,
- 6:45Speaker 3: and then between eleven and one, I'm gonna go find
- 6:47Speaker 3: some food, maybe get a workout in, and then from
- 6:51Speaker 3: one to five I'll be back on air. And then
- 6:53Speaker 3: after five early dinner cheers, the do seqis with you,
- 6:59Speaker 3: and then rest.
- 7:00Speaker 5: Then I wish you could, by no doubt where you
- 7:06Speaker 5: don't even have to ask you know, oh I know
- 7:09Speaker 5: in five minutes later.
- 7:12Speaker 4: It is funny because there is so many people that
- 7:14Speaker 4: are so fired up. It's like we're excited too, a
- 7:20Speaker 4: different reasons deal.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, they're excited for like the extracurricular after hours.
- 7:26Speaker 3: It's like summer camp and you hadn't seen your friends.
- 7:30Speaker 3: You only get to see him once a year, which
- 7:31Speaker 3: is cool.
- 7:32Speaker 4: I love that for them, dud.
- 7:36Speaker 5: But we're we're serious media professionals, serious reporters, investigative journalists,
- 7:44Speaker 5: Like we're there for this business trip. We ain't there
- 7:47Speaker 5: for fun. I ain't there to smile, I ain't there
- 7:49Speaker 5: to laugh. I did to talk to friends, there to
- 7:53Speaker 5: do my job.
- 7:54Speaker 3: There was there was one time, and I don't remember,
- 7:57Speaker 3: we've been so many times. It was in Atlanta and
- 8:01Speaker 3: T Bob was not there and the show was going
- 8:06Speaker 3: to start, Like for.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Real, what I thought it like mentally he wasn't there.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Well that's physically fifteen seconds from showtime, and I'm like, look,
- 8:16Speaker 3: I've always got like a fifteen minute monologue ready to
- 8:18Speaker 3: go in case this happens, if somebody didn't show up,
- 8:21Speaker 3: if the Comrades goes out when I'm on the other show,
- 8:24Speaker 3: like you know, you gotta be ready to go, do yeah,
- 8:27Speaker 3: ready to go? And I'm like getting ready for it.
- 8:30Speaker 3: I'm like, cause he's not there, he's not answering his phone.
- 8:34Speaker 3: I went to his room, knocked on his door. Nothing right.
- 8:37Speaker 3: And when I say, it's like a scene from the
- 8:40Speaker 3: Hangover where we were at the very top of the escalator,
- 8:44Speaker 3: like that's exactly where our table was.
- 8:46Speaker 4: And as I'm getting ready.
- 8:47Speaker 3: To like, well come man, I see nothing but t
- 8:50Speaker 3: Bob with his eyes closed, his head back, and his
- 8:54Speaker 3: mouth open, and he's coming up the escalator and he
- 8:58Speaker 3: had just been on an all nighter, My gosh, and
- 9:02Speaker 3: an all nighter?
- 9:03Speaker 1: Was was was it that? Or was it the Senior
- 9:06Speaker 1: Bowl where he showed up right before and said that
- 9:08Speaker 1: he had stayed up all night playing video games?
- 9:11Speaker 4: Was it that? This was?
- 9:13Speaker 3: He had extracurriculars at this one and it looked like
- 9:17Speaker 3: a scene from the Hangover.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Now I'll give Bob credit.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Once we said go, he did three hours and never
- 9:24Speaker 3: missed a beat. Now everybody sat down and goes. You
- 9:27Speaker 3: could tell me, like, dude, I what's wrong with you?
- 9:29Speaker 4: I have heard but.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Right when like didn't answer his phone, never answer his door.
- 9:35Speaker 3: I don't know where he came from or who he
- 9:36Speaker 3: was coming from.
- 9:37Speaker 4: With, but he showed up. He was there, He was
- 9:41Speaker 4: there for the It's.
- 9:42Speaker 5: All I really matter sometimes in life, just about showing up,
- 9:47Speaker 5: even if you can't give it all you got. I
- 9:52Speaker 5: was tired this morning. I thought about not showing up,
- 9:55Speaker 5: but I did it. Got the biggest coffee Starbucks offers.
- 9:59Speaker 5: Never got this one before. That's a big boy. Thirty answers.
- 10:04Speaker 4: That's a sip.
- 10:07Speaker 5: I think that's the train day. Usually I just get
- 10:11Speaker 5: the vine.
- 10:16Speaker 4: What is it? I felt like this is a Paul
- 10:18Speaker 4: Rudd situation where he does.
- 10:24Speaker 1: He congrats you're stupid in three languages. I love that movie.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Very underrated movie, very underrated. I don't know which movie
- 10:34Speaker 3: you're talking about. Role models ahay.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Him and Sean Williams Scott.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Yes, yes, very good, right, A lot of one liners
- 10:43Speaker 4: that one.
- 10:46Speaker 5: Mm hmmm, are you planning on fixing your lawn this
- 10:52Speaker 5: weekend because you told me it looks real stupid.
- 10:54Speaker 1: It's getting down this afternoon.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Okay, because you you are strong, because you had in mind,
- 10:59Speaker 5: I was saying, I partially blamed you.
- 11:01Speaker 1: You're gonna you're gonna have to take this one a
- 11:03Speaker 1: little bit. Ye, cutting grass yesterday, got a little parched,
- 11:06Speaker 1: you know, felt felt a little dizzy with seeing people
- 11:09Speaker 1: that weren't there in the heat. I was like, this
- 11:11Speaker 1: might be time.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Coach is always just in the middle, right right.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I was like, this might be time for for for
- 11:17Speaker 1: a little break, went inside to give water, came back out,
- 11:20Speaker 1: pulled the string on the push mower. String snapped in half,
- 11:24Speaker 1: retied it, pulled it snapped in half again. So yard
- 11:28Speaker 1: kind of cut. One half looks great, the other half not.
- 11:32Speaker 1: It's like if you're getting the back of your head
- 11:33Speaker 1: shaved and you turn to the side and they accidentally
- 11:36Speaker 1: get like one side of your head. That's what my
- 11:38Speaker 1: yard looks like right now. Not not a great scene.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I told Victoria, I said, look, don't look out the
- 11:43Speaker 1: window all day. We're gonna get this right this afternoon.
- 11:48Speaker 1: We'll wait this right.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Hey.
- 11:49Speaker 5: So the second time you pulled it in a rip.
- 11:51Speaker 5: Did it pull at the part that you tied it?
- 11:55Speaker 5: Or did it rip in another place?
- 11:57Speaker 4: Done? I want to know how good your boy scout?
- 11:59Speaker 4: Not one?
- 11:59Speaker 1: No, it's it's done. It was another In fairness, it's
- 12:02Speaker 1: kind of a it's a decently old mower and I've
- 12:04Speaker 1: never replaced the string on it, so I mean it
- 12:06Speaker 1: was only a matter of tom Yeah.
- 12:10Speaker 4: Is that a pun? Because yeah, you know what, I
- 12:12Speaker 4: didn't mean that. I didn't mean that. That's my bad.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Overdue not yet, No, not technically yet.
- 12:24Speaker 3: How's it going on the Razor front any like any
- 12:28Speaker 3: have you made any ground on that?
- 12:29Speaker 4: Or is it still sticking to the same name?
- 12:31Speaker 1: Now we're we're we're we're locked in. We got the
- 12:34Speaker 1: the monogram shirts and something on the baby cribs where
- 12:37Speaker 1: we're locked in.
- 12:38Speaker 5: I don't even know. I'm sure you have. Then we
- 12:40Speaker 5: just chose not to listen because it's Razor. But like,
- 12:44Speaker 5: what's what's technically birth certificate name? Obviously the name is
- 12:48Speaker 5: going to be Griffin Malone Sharp.
- 12:50Speaker 4: That's right, Griffin Malone, Razor Sharp. I love it, Griffin
- 12:55Speaker 4: Malone Sharp.
- 12:57Speaker 1: We didn't we didn't have a middle name. We were
- 12:59Speaker 1: in love with. My middle name is Malone. I don't
- 13:01Speaker 1: particularly like it. It's a family name though, like my
- 13:04Speaker 1: dad's middle names Malone as well, and it actually flew
- 13:07Speaker 1: good together. First name middle names were like, you know what.
- 13:09Speaker 4: We'll just with fans of the mailman. Huh yeah, Trent.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Because we always deliver in our family. We're there, We're
- 13:16Speaker 1: ready to go.
- 13:19Speaker 5: I don't hate it. Hopefully Malone, Hopefully the dog will
- 13:22Speaker 5: be delivered here pretty soon.
- 13:23Speaker 4: That would be.
- 13:24Speaker 1: That would be the goal. She's back from vacation though,
- 13:26Speaker 1: so he her by then at the thirty six week
- 13:31Speaker 1: appointment goes, oh, yeah, I'm gonna be on like a
- 13:33Speaker 1: two and a half week vacation, but I'll be back
- 13:35Speaker 1: July eighth. We were like, well, let's not have it
- 13:37Speaker 1: before July.
- 13:38Speaker 3: That would be if you have a summer baby. That yeah,
- 13:40Speaker 3: happened very easily. H Something else I saw, Tata you
- 13:44Speaker 3: put in the document here.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Our guy Marcus Spears.
- 13:48Speaker 3: His son, Marcus Spears Junior, committed to Texas over l
- 13:53Speaker 3: s U. Now I believe Marcus's daughter plays volleyball at
- 13:57Speaker 3: Texas as well, so she.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Does, so he said he sent two kids over there.
- 14:00Speaker 3: And look, Marcus played for the Cowboys, and he's moved
- 14:04Speaker 3: a couple of times, but he's found his way back
- 14:05Speaker 3: to the Texas area. I believe so, and believe he's
- 14:08Speaker 3: back in Texas after he tried the whole ESPN Northeast situation.
- 14:12Speaker 4: No, not so not a surprise here.
- 14:15Speaker 3: And look where LSU basketball is with the uncertainty and
- 14:18Speaker 3: not really knowing having will wade back and trying to
- 14:21Speaker 3: figure out the roster is probably not a surprise.
- 14:23Speaker 5: No, accent's not thinking enough, not from the never European
- 14:29Speaker 5: accent or anything. No, but no, we as former teammates
- 14:33Speaker 5: of Marcus and love Marcus to death. That yeah, congratulations,
- 14:36Speaker 5: that's awesome. I mean, if any I mean if your
- 14:39Speaker 5: son number one play daughter, it's incredible son or daughter
- 14:43Speaker 5: has the opportunity to go play anywhere. Man, you want
- 14:45Speaker 5: your kids to make their decisions right. You don't want
- 14:47Speaker 5: to influence it. So it's it's one of those things. Man,
- 14:51Speaker 5: It's like we're we're rooting for him, and congratulations, that's awesome.
- 14:55Speaker 5: Number one player in the country is absolutely incredible. That
- 14:58Speaker 5: some good jeans over there.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say he does obviously what Marcus was
- 15:03Speaker 3: at LSU and also as we know, like Marcus Spears's
- 15:07Speaker 3: wife played basketball at LSU as well, So up family.
- 15:13Speaker 5: I remember Jimbo saying, yeah, because we we knew Mark
- 15:17Speaker 5: Spears as a defensive lineman.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Yep, bigger guy.
- 15:21Speaker 5: You know, for that position you got to put on
- 15:22Speaker 5: a little bit of weight so you'll get pushed around.
- 15:25Speaker 5: And we knew him with the Cowboys playing, Like how
- 15:27Speaker 5: good he was there? I remember Jimbo saying, like, how
- 15:29Speaker 5: good of a basketball player he was in high school?
- 15:31Speaker 5: Like got offered scholarships from like Duke and like all
- 15:33Speaker 5: the blue bloods like to go play basketball there. So
- 15:36Speaker 5: certainly runs in the family. So congratulations, go kick some butt.
- 15:42Speaker 5: Hopefully lsu is can become relevant once again and we can,
- 15:48Speaker 5: you know, realistically compete against them.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Yeah. I want LSU to be good men's basketball against
- 15:54Speaker 4: so bad so bad? How bad?
- 15:57Speaker 3: Do you remember in two thousand and six? How fun
- 15:59Speaker 3: that will when remember that one time? Well, no, I mean,
- 16:02Speaker 3: but they made the final four that year. We were
- 16:05Speaker 3: on we were here and I think we well, we
- 16:10Speaker 3: had some team team event. I don't remember what it was,
- 16:14Speaker 3: but I just remember like Less letting us out early
- 16:17Speaker 3: so we could go watch the Final four.
- 16:20Speaker 4: Game.
- 16:20Speaker 3: I don't remember what we were doing, but we had
- 16:21Speaker 3: something and he's like, let us out early. And how
- 16:23Speaker 3: cool it was to watch that team and I feel
- 16:26Speaker 3: like they had a real opportunity. They went on a run.
- 16:27Speaker 3: They beat that Duke jj Reddick team that you're talking
- 16:30Speaker 3: about that your doctor had an office about.
- 16:33Speaker 4: That'd be cool. Yeah. Now I am I saying like
- 16:36Speaker 4: you're gonna get to that point in time soon.
- 16:37Speaker 3: But even what Will was doing, like get to a
- 16:39Speaker 3: sweet sixteen, just makes it a lot more exciting.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Yeah, that was right. Now, you know that hasn't done
- 16:46Speaker 4: anything in a while, do something OK with the stick? Yeah? Uh,
- 16:51Speaker 4: that was fun. That was a fun time.
- 16:52Speaker 5: That was of course we were in college, we were playing.
- 16:55Speaker 5: We knew those guys really well. I can't remember feels
- 16:57Speaker 5: right before that or during it or right after. But
- 17:00Speaker 5: I was in a class with big Baby in Tyrus. Yeah,
- 17:05Speaker 5: and it was a big baby at least once or twice. Yeah,
- 17:08Speaker 5: it was acting. No, this is actually one of those
- 17:11Speaker 5: This was acting improv class, not a big deal part
- 17:16Speaker 5: of the communications degree. Yeah, we all and so I
- 17:19Speaker 5: mean surprise, y'a would be really shocked to know this.
- 17:22Speaker 5: But it was all football. And basketball players in this class.
- 17:25Speaker 5: And I don't know how it we just it was coincidence.
- 17:28Speaker 5: Everything lucked out and just everything came together. We just
- 17:31Speaker 5: happened to be the only ones in this class and
- 17:33Speaker 5: it was acting improv class. It was we actually all
- 17:38Speaker 5: had to go because the professor was a student, like
- 17:41Speaker 5: an actor student at LSU. And he was like, no,
- 17:46Speaker 5: the attendance is like the only thing.
- 17:47Speaker 4: I'm grady.
- 17:48Speaker 5: So we were like okay. Then it worked out. It
- 17:50Speaker 5: was a pretty decent time. It wasn't early.
- 17:54Speaker 4: I had one with a big baby, but that's kind
- 17:56Speaker 4: of classes we took. So I'm the first day, mid
- 18:00Speaker 4: term day, and final day. That sounded like my schedule
- 18:03Speaker 4: for most of my classes. Yep. As soon as I
- 18:07Speaker 4: got to sound a note taker, that was good. Oh
- 18:10Speaker 4: because diagnosed.
- 18:12Speaker 5: Yeah, I was diagnosmatically. Yeah, I just take the same
- 18:17Speaker 5: classes as my wife. I'd go to class the first
- 18:19Speaker 5: day and they'd be like, all right, I need a
- 18:20Speaker 5: volunteer to be note taker. They wouldn't say a name,
- 18:26Speaker 5: but they knew everybody rolled their eyes. I was like,
- 18:32Speaker 5: all right, see all it be.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Terms, so wonder by your degree says General and Studies.
- 18:39Speaker 3: All right, we'll take a break more ot.
- 18:43Speaker 6: I feel so close to you right now. It's a

- 19:01Speaker 2: Gets off the bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn and.

- 20:45Speaker 5: some cool points.
- 20:46Speaker 4: That'd be me, That would be me, the only thing
- 20:51Speaker 4: I got. But I got it, no doubt.
- 20:52Speaker 5: You sure certainly do, buddy, You know got it? Who
- 20:57Speaker 5: got a lot of cool points?
- 20:58Speaker 4: Not you? Todday Pagatcha.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Oh my god, that's the only the only name that
- 21:06Speaker 3: I hear. Is he the only person that's riding a bike?
- 21:09Speaker 5: Well, basically yesterday in stage six the Tour de France,
- 21:13Speaker 5: it looked like Todday Pagatcha was the only one who
- 21:16Speaker 5: rode a bike. They were in the Pyrenees mountains yesterday.
- 21:19Speaker 5: Oh and there's this climb. There is this climb card
- 21:22Speaker 5: the Tormalay Tourmalay. I don't know if I'm saying that right,
- 21:26Speaker 5: but it's close to that and he broke the record
- 21:28Speaker 5: going up it. Man was going twenty five miles an
- 21:30Speaker 5: hour up a mountain, up, not down, up a mountain,
- 21:36Speaker 5: and he absolutely destroyed the entire field going up a
- 21:39Speaker 5: mountain by himself. Taylor who is his rival, Dgar Jonas
- 21:48Speaker 5: Vingego who is a two time toward France champion as
- 21:51Speaker 5: well well. He destroyed his rival Jonas yesterday, crossing the
- 21:58Speaker 5: finish line two minutes and forty two seconds ahead of him,
- 22:02Speaker 5: which is for one race going up a mountain for
- 22:05Speaker 5: two of the best people in the world. That is
- 22:07Speaker 5: an astronomical level. We're talking about. This man is on
- 22:13Speaker 5: a Tiger Woods esque run in early two thousands Tiger
- 22:16Speaker 5: Woods run right now, like he's absolutely destroying the field.
- 22:18Speaker 5: It's not even close, and he is the best man
- 22:21Speaker 5: on a bicycle and it was very impressive to watch.
- 22:25Speaker 5: It's a little bit of a shame that he's so good.
- 22:27Speaker 5: It's awesome to watch him be so good, but there
- 22:29Speaker 5: is like it's like never a doubt, like there's never
- 22:33Speaker 5: the two guys were not up like fighting each other,
- 22:35Speaker 5: battling attack at each other. Nope, man just took off.
- 22:39Speaker 5: We're watching a guy that is is on top of
- 22:43Speaker 5: the world and in the biking community, he is just
- 22:48Speaker 5: better than everybody else by a lot.
- 22:50Speaker 4: So yeah, it feels feels like by a lot a lot. Yeah.
- 22:54Speaker 4: So it's, uh, the stages he doesn't win.
- 22:57Speaker 5: Today's like I think a flat say a sprint finish,
- 23:00Speaker 5: but like on mountains, the stages that he doesn't win,
- 23:03Speaker 5: it's the ones that he's not really trying trying to
- 23:05Speaker 5: rest his team. So and his his teammate, the guy
- 23:10Speaker 5: from Mexico, Isaac del Toro, is in third place overall.
- 23:13Speaker 5: Actually the guy that was like helps him lead the
- 23:16Speaker 5: way a little bit. Third place, so pretty decent, pretty
- 23:19Speaker 5: decent old team over there. There you go, Jake.
- 23:26Speaker 4: It's not that I'm against the tour.
- 23:31Speaker 3: I just you keep explaining it and I don't know,
- 23:36Speaker 3: either doesn't make sense or I'm like everybody knows the
- 23:38Speaker 3: outcome already, so.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Why do we care. Well, this feels like this guy's
- 23:42Speaker 4: gonna win.
- 23:43Speaker 5: This is the first Well, this is kind of like
- 23:46Speaker 5: the first time I've heard like all the announcers like
- 23:49Speaker 5: even going into the tour and like during it, like
- 23:51Speaker 5: pretty much just like unless he falls off and gets hurt.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Yeah, like he's gonna win this one because he's in
- 23:56Speaker 3: such good form. Yeah, it feels like watching baseball is
- 23:58Speaker 3: like why are we watching and this the.
- 24:00Speaker 4: Dodgers are just gonna win it, right Uh.
- 24:03Speaker 3: In the past, it's been like, okay, you got yonas
- 24:06Speaker 3: Is won twice to Day's won. You know, at one
- 24:08Speaker 3: point they both had two and tow they had three
- 24:11Speaker 3: and then he had four. Now he's going for his
- 24:13Speaker 3: fifth one. But at least there was some competitive stages
- 24:17Speaker 3: like this, like yesterday, this should have been on the tormalay.
- 24:20Speaker 3: This should have been like a big competitive stage.
- 24:22Speaker 5: This is like in the past, these two guys were
- 24:24Speaker 5: like hitting there and like Yonis would attack him. Then
- 24:26Speaker 5: he'd have to catch up and they would It was
- 24:28Speaker 5: like a game of cat and like a cat and
- 24:29Speaker 5: mouse game. Well, this was he just kind of blew them.
- 24:32Speaker 5: He started sprinting up this mountain, going twenty five miles
- 24:35Speaker 5: an hour uphill. Nobody can keep up. All of a sudden,
- 24:40Speaker 5: he's just he destroyed it. So we'll see what happens.
- 24:43Speaker 5: We'll see if he can stay on his bike and
- 24:45Speaker 5: stay healthy. If he does, he might win by twenty minutes.
- 24:47Speaker 5: I don't know, we're gonna find out. I got told
- 24:57Speaker 5: to ship in my mouth. I don't know what I
- 24:58Speaker 5: do is because I was questioning. Uh yeah, you shut
- 25:02Speaker 5: your mouth, Jake. I don't know anyways, asking questions. He's
- 25:07Speaker 5: trying to learn. People need to know about this Tour
- 25:11Speaker 5: de France. Okay, buddy, i'd say he didn't. I said
- 25:15Speaker 5: I don't.
- 25:15Speaker 4: I don't.
- 25:16Speaker 3: I don't know anything about it. Trying to figure it out.
- 25:19Speaker 3: But it just feels like one guy's gonna win, one
- 25:21Speaker 3: guy's gonna dominate.
- 25:22Speaker 4: And that's what it is. It's which is fine.
- 25:24Speaker 5: Yeah, that's kind of what happens when your team's got
- 25:26Speaker 5: a lot of money and you're the best writer by
- 25:28Speaker 5: a long shot, like just by yourself, you could you
- 25:30Speaker 5: could probably win this thing.
- 25:33Speaker 4: That's probably an overstatement. Oh never mind.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Sorry, they weren't talking about your Twitter fronts because said
- 25:38Speaker 3: the Dodgers are gonna win at all.
- 25:39Speaker 4: I don't want the Dodgers. I'm a brace fan. Y'all
- 25:41Speaker 4: know that I don't want them too.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Does anybody want them to the voice of the LSU Tigers,
- 25:51Speaker 3: Chris Blair, he's a Dodgers fan.
- 25:54Speaker 5: Like even he's gotta be like, h that's kind of ridiculous.
- 26:00Speaker 5: Anyway we will be I'm watching it right now, certainly
- 26:04Speaker 5: not watching the tour this year, and I mean it
- 26:07Speaker 5: really says of now and as like on the edge
- 26:11Speaker 5: of my seat type of deal. Now, I'm just watching
- 26:12Speaker 5: it to kind of just watch Greatness do his thing.
- 26:16Speaker 5: In the past it has been like, oh, man, who's gonna
- 26:17Speaker 5: win this one, Who's gonna do this, Who's gonna do that?
- 26:19Speaker 5: Maybe this guy will win. That's It's a one man
- 26:22Speaker 5: show right now. But if you want to watch Greatness,
- 26:26Speaker 5: go watch it.
- 26:27Speaker 4: You know where to go.
- 26:28Speaker 7: All right, we will step away dot com.
- 26:45Speaker 4: I don't need to be gods. I don't need to.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Be tigers turn talkers. This is off the bench.
- 26:57Speaker 4: I don't have to be.
- 27:04Speaker 6: Where I'm going, and I'm.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Outside.
- 27:23Speaker 4: I wonder what I gotta do.

- 28:20Speaker 3: Medical dot com. Matthew, Everybody, Oftentimes, when we have conversations
- 28:29Speaker 3: of who's the best player at this position in the NFL,
- 28:35Speaker 3: it's hard. It's gonna be probably a lot of different answers,
- 28:38Speaker 3: at least two different answers. If we run around the room,
- 28:41Speaker 3: we're a room of four right now. We did this
- 28:43Speaker 3: with running backs the other day by Jon Robinson came
- 28:46Speaker 3: in at number one. Now I think you said Jonathan Taylor,
- 28:49Speaker 3: somebody said Bjehn, somebody said Jamior Gibbs and end up
- 28:52Speaker 3: being John Robinson. And that's what it kind of should be.
- 28:54Speaker 3: It's the NFL, and it's like, you know, healthy league
- 28:58Speaker 3: has that right.
- 28:59Speaker 4: It does does.
- 29:00Speaker 3: But if I ask you, do you think there's one
- 29:03Speaker 3: position that if you ask four people in the room
- 29:08Speaker 3: who's the best blank in the NFL that there could
- 29:12Speaker 3: be one player that is going to get all four answers, Yeah,
- 29:16Speaker 3: you do what position? And that would be Miles Garrett. Garrett.
- 29:26Speaker 3: I mean, he's the only one I started thinking about
- 29:28Speaker 3: because ESPN dot Com is doing this.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Deal with they're probably the best player in the NFL.
- 29:32Speaker 4: He might be.
- 29:33Speaker 3: And what they're doing is they're, you know, getting coaches
- 29:36Speaker 3: and scouts and executives to kind of, hey, give us
- 29:39Speaker 3: our list, and it's like a point system and if
- 29:41Speaker 3: you get one, you get this amount of points. And
- 29:44Speaker 3: he's the only person that I can think of right
- 29:46Speaker 3: now because he comes in obviously at number one.
- 29:48Speaker 4: When it comes to edge rushers.
- 29:50Speaker 3: The full list is Miles Garrett one, Michael Parsons to,
- 29:53Speaker 3: Will Anderson Junior three, Max Crosby four, Aiden Hutchinson five,
- 29:57Speaker 3: Daniel Hunter six, TJ. Watts seven, Nick Bosa eight, Brian
- 30:01Speaker 3: Burns nine and Benito. Therefore, the Denver Broncos coming in
- 30:05Speaker 3: at number ten.
- 30:07Speaker 5: It's wild because that list is full of absolute game
- 30:11Speaker 5: disruptors and game changers, and if Miles Garrett wasn't there,
- 30:15Speaker 5: it's one hundred percent an argument on Who's the Best,
- 30:18Speaker 5: And you could also say that maybe even before last
- 30:22Speaker 5: year it was You could have argued because Parsons was
- 30:26Speaker 5: in such the public eye, you could have argued had
- 30:30Speaker 5: an argument at least that Parsons could have been number
- 30:33Speaker 5: one on that list just because it was so public
- 30:37Speaker 5: the the trade. But there's there's no doubt. I mean,
- 30:42Speaker 5: Miles Garrett's been the best defensive end and it has
- 30:44Speaker 5: been for multiple years. That's why it was so surprising
- 30:48Speaker 5: that when the trade happened, Yeah, the Brown's doing Brown things.
- 30:54Speaker 5: They didn't even shop it. They didn't even shop him.
- 30:58Speaker 5: They just pretty much said, we're owned a deal with Ramps.
- 31:01Speaker 5: They had this deal in place, and I guess it's
- 31:03Speaker 5: because they targeted a certain the player that they wanted,
- 31:07Speaker 5: and I'm pretty sure that there was other teams that
- 31:09Speaker 5: were a little bit pissed off that, like, they didn't
- 31:11Speaker 5: even get the opportunity to bid. You would think that
- 31:14Speaker 5: a player that is hands down the best defensive end
- 31:17Speaker 5: and potentially the best player in the NFL could have
- 31:20Speaker 5: garnered more of a payout, and he would have if
- 31:24Speaker 5: they would have shot it. But the Browns had a
- 31:27Speaker 5: deal they wanted to make and maybe they wanted to
- 31:28Speaker 5: do right by him because he came back and played
- 31:31Speaker 5: for them after saying he wanted to leave.
- 31:34Speaker 4: He came. I mean, he got paid a lot. Let's
- 31:36Speaker 4: let's not forget that.
- 31:37Speaker 5: But he did come back and play his ass off
- 31:39Speaker 5: for them and set the all time NFL all time
- 31:41Speaker 5: sack record after he said he wanted to go. But
- 31:44Speaker 5: he's like and so maybe the Browns were like, look,
- 31:48Speaker 5: you did us a solid. Of course you got paid
- 31:51Speaker 5: for it, but you did us a solid and you
- 31:53Speaker 5: played your tailoff. You could have, you know, been disgruntled,
- 31:57Speaker 5: you could have you know, not signed the contract last year,
- 32:00Speaker 5: but no, you put the Browns on the map by
- 32:02Speaker 5: setting the all time NFL sack record. So where do
- 32:04Speaker 5: you want to go? Maybe it was that type of deal.
- 32:06Speaker 5: Where do you want to go? And if they can
- 32:08Speaker 5: give us, you know, at least a decent haul, we
- 32:10Speaker 5: can get a good player back to you know, not
- 32:13Speaker 5: replace you, but certainly take a take up that position
- 32:16Speaker 5: at a very play that position at very high level.
- 32:20Speaker 5: So maybe it was that kind of situation. And that's
- 32:22Speaker 5: not that's not that far fetched to think that. Now
- 32:27Speaker 5: some gms and some organizations don't really care what the
- 32:31Speaker 5: player's feelings are. But there's a lot that do when
- 32:35Speaker 5: it comes to trades, man, it's you just don't see
- 32:40Speaker 5: a player at that height of his career typically get traded.
- 32:44Speaker 5: The Browns kind of see where they're going, I guess,
- 32:47Speaker 5: and they realize.
- 32:48Speaker 4: They could get a lot, and they could get a
- 32:49Speaker 4: good player.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Because as I gave you the list, now the player
- 32:53Speaker 3: wasn't on the top ten, but honorable mentioned. The first
- 32:55Speaker 3: name is Jared Verse, the player that they got back
- 32:58Speaker 3: in return.
- 32:59Speaker 4: So you get that and you get a draft choice.
- 33:01Speaker 4: Is this is this the biggest trade in NFL history? Oh,
- 33:08Speaker 4: there's big ones. There's been some big ones.
- 33:11Speaker 3: I mean Matthew Stafford when it comes to my mind,
- 33:15Speaker 3: because that worked out for everybody, like and that changed
- 33:18Speaker 3: a franchise. It actually changed Detroit's franchise maybe more than
- 33:23Speaker 3: any franchise has been changed before. They were horrible, even
- 33:29Speaker 3: with Matthew Stafford and Megatron. It took him getting all
- 33:33Speaker 3: those draft choices and Jared Goff and they had a
- 33:37Speaker 3: fifteen win season not long ago. I think I think
- 33:42Speaker 3: that one's probably the biggest at least you know, well
- 33:44Speaker 3: what's in and how it played out.
- 33:47Speaker 5: Yeah, has the arguably the best player in the entire
- 33:51Speaker 5: NFL ever been traded.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Not coming off his not coming off his best year, anything,
- 33:59Speaker 4: off the top of the top of your head.
- 34:02Speaker 1: No, I mean, not not to that status, not still
- 34:04Speaker 1: in their primes.
- 34:06Speaker 5: At at present, the top end of player in the NFL,
- 34:10Speaker 5: or the argument can be made at least top two
- 34:12Speaker 5: or three player in the NFL. I don't even know
- 34:14Speaker 5: who else would be in the category.
- 34:15Speaker 1: About any league. I mean, you've seen big free agent signings,
- 34:18Speaker 1: but his first trades, I don't, MLB, NBA, NFL, I don't.
- 34:22Speaker 1: I don't know if it's ever happened.
- 34:24Speaker 5: The best player yeah, hm, so biggest trade and professional
- 34:32Speaker 5: sports history.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I mean, show hey, from the Angels to the Dodgers,
- 34:39Speaker 1: that was trade, I believe, so at least signed with them.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Wasn't a trade.
- 34:44Speaker 3: I mean, there's Rainy Mosk on the Patriots, but like
- 34:47Speaker 3: at the time, it f l like Rainy Moss was
- 34:50Speaker 3: probably on the other side of it.
- 34:52Speaker 4: He didn't just set the time NFL receiving yards.
- 34:56Speaker 1: The end of his Raiders stint wasn't great. I mean,
- 34:59Speaker 1: that was a bad organ rezation.
- 35:00Speaker 4: Really tell me more.
- 35:03Speaker 3: You've got I'm trying to think of ones that like
- 35:06Speaker 3: didn't like mainly, like the Ricky Williams trade was crazy,
- 35:10Speaker 3: but that was mainly draft choices. Obviously, Uh Russell Wilson
- 35:14Speaker 3: when he got traded, it was probably a little bit
- 35:15Speaker 3: of a surprise to some people. Certainly doesn't fall into
- 35:19Speaker 3: his category. But I'm saying like that was people were
- 35:21Speaker 3: surprised at that happened. And what I mean, Seattle got
- 35:24Speaker 3: a haul back. We got two first round picks, two
- 35:27Speaker 3: second round picks. You know what I'm saying, Like of
- 35:30Speaker 3: what the team, Seattle got two first round picks, two
- 35:34Speaker 3: second round picks, a fifth round pick, Noah Fense, Shelby Harris,
- 35:37Speaker 3: Andrew Locke.
- 35:38Speaker 5: Think about that. Think about that. So we're we're breaking
- 35:42Speaker 5: this down in real time here, This is no prep
- 35:45Speaker 5: work in this.
- 35:47Speaker 4: Years after that. Is this the biggest.
- 35:50Speaker 5: Trade, not signing, the biggest trade in professional sports history?
- 35:56Speaker 5: And and we're talking about big because.
- 35:58Speaker 4: Of the the player.
- 36:00Speaker 5: Yeah, the best player in his prime in a certain
- 36:03Speaker 5: league gets traded after a record breaking, record setting at
- 36:08Speaker 5: his profession season and he got the same haul as
- 36:13Speaker 5: Russell Wilson did, two first rounders in a player, right, Yeah,
- 36:17Speaker 5: that pretty much what it was.
- 36:18Speaker 3: Yeah, and Russell got released in two seasons, so the
- 36:24Speaker 3: Rams maybe winning on that one if you.
- 36:28Speaker 4: Bring it down that way.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Farv was technically traded to the Jets, but remember he
- 36:32Speaker 1: had announced retirement. They decided to go with Rogers. He
- 36:34Speaker 1: wanted to come back. I mean he was technically traded,
- 36:37Speaker 1: but was he traded. Yeah, I think he was taking
- 36:40Speaker 1: because I remember.
- 36:41Speaker 5: I'm looking at it now because I remember that that
- 36:43Speaker 5: very vividly, because Farv came back around July fourth, because
- 36:47Speaker 5: we were at Rookie Symposium.
- 36:49Speaker 4: Yep, they flew back.
- 36:50Speaker 5: I remember watching it at the airport leaving Rookie Symposium
- 36:53Speaker 5: because I was a seventh round pick. I was the
- 36:55Speaker 5: third quarterback. I was in the same draft as the
- 36:57Speaker 5: second round pick and Farv was. I've seen the overhead
- 37:01Speaker 5: footage from like a helicopter of the private plane him
- 37:04Speaker 5: getting off the plane and Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson
- 37:08Speaker 5: meeting him at the airport. I'm like, oh my god,
- 37:10Speaker 5: I'm about to get cut right here, like I'm the
- 37:13Speaker 5: I'm literally about to get cut. Well, the packers knew
- 37:19Speaker 5: what Aaron was at the time, and they pre because Brett.
- 37:22Speaker 5: I believe he wanted to come back.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Well, they had already like previously committed once once far
- 37:27Speaker 1: of an ult retirement. They had committed to Rogers like okay,
- 37:29Speaker 1: you're the guy, and the Brett's like, I want to
- 37:30Speaker 1: come back in the middle of July. So then they
- 37:32Speaker 1: traded him.
- 37:33Speaker 5: Yeah, and so he came and they're like, no, we
- 37:36Speaker 5: were We're.
- 37:37Speaker 4: Good right now. We know what we got with Rogers.
- 37:40Speaker 1: To your point, they traded him for a fourth round
- 37:42Speaker 1: pick like that. That's what they got back for Brett.
- 37:44Speaker 1: They wanted I believe they were even willing to pay
- 37:50Speaker 1: his pay.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Him to to retire. He go away.
- 37:54Speaker 5: Yeah, just famned to maybe like don't go away. It's
- 37:57Speaker 5: kind of like a harsh turn. But like what we've
- 38:00Speaker 5: already moved on. We just drafted two quarterbacks. Aaron's our guy,
- 38:03Speaker 5: Like we owe you, like if you came back. I
- 38:05Speaker 5: think it was like at the time, top pay quarterbacks
- 38:07Speaker 5: like twenty five million dollars or whatever for the year.
- 38:09Speaker 4: We'll pay you that just to kind of retire.
- 38:11Speaker 5: But yeah, but they but they ended up getting they
- 38:14Speaker 5: end up trade.
- 38:16Speaker 3: We have a couple of nominees coming in for maybe
- 38:20Speaker 3: the biggest trade.
- 38:21Speaker 4: Now there's some baseball trades.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Iman Cougs just hit me up and he's right, like
- 38:26Speaker 3: baby Bruce probably the biggest like of all time in sports.
- 38:29Speaker 4: Yeah, Redy, I've heard of him. That's a pretty big one.
- 38:33Speaker 4: Heard of him.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Also, Herschel Walker when he went from the Cowboys to
- 38:38Speaker 3: the Vikings. The Vikings received Hershel Walker. The Cowboys received
- 38:42Speaker 3: five players and eight draft picks. Five players and eight
- 38:47Speaker 3: draft picks, including multiple first and second rounders. Dallas turned
- 38:52Speaker 3: the Hall into the core of the nineties dynasty, including EMMITTT. Smith,
- 38:56Speaker 3: Russell Maryland and others. Walker never became the superstar Minnesota expected.
- 39:00Speaker 3: So eight players, sorry, five players and eight draft picks.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Thirteen players for one, that's a pretty big one.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Bigger return. I just I'm not heard what was on
- 39:11Speaker 1: the level of A miles as far.
- 39:12Speaker 4: As like, well, it's setting up the Cowboys three nine. Yeah,
- 39:16Speaker 4: that's true. I mean in the all time leading Russian
- 39:18Speaker 4: NFL history. In return.
- 39:21Speaker 5: The fun part, there's no right answer to this. This
- 39:23Speaker 5: is all kind of you know, jogging the memory and
- 39:25Speaker 5: all this stuff. But it's a fun conversation to have
- 39:28Speaker 5: because it was so monumental. Christiano Ronaldo got traded. It
- 39:36Speaker 5: it's not like a trade, a fun trade. Yeah, brought
- 39:40Speaker 5: up to John Gruden getting traded.
- 39:42Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I won Super Bowl. Yeah, I got from
- 39:45Speaker 4: the Raiders to the Bucks.
- 39:46Speaker 3: All right, we can keep this conversation going, but we
- 39:49Speaker 3: do need to take a break. We'll take that break now.
- 39:51Speaker 3: More OTB on the other side.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Two thousand and seven Champs, Purple and Gold to the Core.
- 40:07Speaker 2: This is off the Bench with Hester and Flynn, Matt
- 40:10Speaker 2: and Rouge's go to for all things Louisiana Sports.
- 40:15Speaker 6: My friends on You're the Logicians, your sister in the
- 40:22Speaker 6: Dream taking away to the dogs.
- 40:45Speaker 5: When you sing the songs, you got a.
- 40:50Speaker 4: Sign words, Hello, movie, welcome back? What end? So don't
- 41:00Speaker 4: people who get a big long segment here don't like
- 41:05Speaker 4: a minute long segment? What are you talking about?
- 41:07Speaker 3: That was a joke, Marshall Fault getting traded from the
- 41:10Speaker 3: Colts of the Rams. Sorry, the greatest show on Turn
- 41:13Speaker 3: Luca Trade by year. Yeah, but Luke hadn't done anything
- 41:17Speaker 3: with the Lakers though, to be fair, how about Miles
- 41:20Speaker 3: hadn't done anything with him?
- 41:22Speaker 4: Yeah about?
- 41:22Speaker 1: How about how about the Mavericks trading Luka Doncic and
- 41:25Speaker 1: letting Jalen Brunton Walk in free agency. They had them
- 41:27Speaker 1: both at the same dumb pretty good, pretty good, pretty good.
- 41:31Speaker 4: They got the draft Cooper flag, though at least.
- 41:38Speaker 5: Someone mentioned Wayne Gretzky was traded. I don't know the
- 41:41Speaker 5: background of that one. I know what I read here
- 41:44Speaker 5: on the chat. Bucks traded Steve Young to the forty
- 41:50Speaker 5: nine ers for a second and fourth round.
- 41:53Speaker 3: John Smoltz getting traded to the Atlanta Braves is like
- 41:56Speaker 3: a throw in that turned out pretty good for the Brave. Yeah,
- 42:00Speaker 3: it's like a like a veteran player that I think
- 42:04Speaker 3: the Tigers were trying to get Paul and the Tigers
- 42:06Speaker 3: had that right. They're trying to get the deadline and like, yeah,
- 42:08Speaker 3: you can have John.
- 42:08Speaker 4: Smolts, Okay, oh we'll take him. And he was in
- 42:13Speaker 4: like leagues and nobody knew who he was. That's when
- 42:16Speaker 4: when you say we take.
- 42:20Speaker 5: Anyway, it's gonna work out for I think the Rams
- 42:22Speaker 5: they will could be like the Dodgers this year.
- 42:26Speaker 7: LA.
- 42:26Speaker 5: They don't even care about sports. They get all the
- 42:27Speaker 5: good teams. I just want one of the teams to
- 42:30Speaker 5: be good. Why do players want to go there? So
- 42:32Speaker 5: argers terrible? You gotta pay so much in taxics,
