- 0:27Speaker 1: miss an episode. Hello, and welcome to this episode of
- 0:30Speaker 1: Spunky Spirit. This week just ended. This is December second
- 0:35Speaker 1: of twenty twenty four, so Thanksgiving just ended, and now
- 0:40Speaker 1: we are starting the Christmas season, the holiday season, the
- 0:44Speaker 1: magical season, and let's face it, sometimes it's super magical
- 0:49Speaker 1: and awesome and great, and sometimes it's so hard. You
- 0:52Speaker 1: can either be going through grief because you of somebody
- 0:56Speaker 1: that you lost that isn't around anymore, or you can
- 1:00Speaker 1: be grieving because being around family is hard. And when
- 1:04Speaker 1: you were little, you didn't understand that drama unless you
- 1:08Speaker 1: were in a traumatic family right or trauma or your
- 1:11Speaker 1: trauma a traumatic situation. So this week we're going to
- 1:16Speaker 1: kind of talk about you being enough because it is
- 1:20Speaker 1: the holidays and because it is kind of hard and
- 1:23Speaker 1: you feeling like sometimes you're not enough, especially when you're
- 1:26Speaker 1: around family or around people that sometimes you need to
- 1:30Speaker 1: have a couple drinks to be around, or just need
- 1:34Speaker 1: to have boundaries. So it is a magical season and
- 1:38Speaker 1: spirits are with you, and your ancestors are with you,
- 1:41Speaker 1: and it is a beautiful season, but sometimes you only
- 1:44Speaker 1: find glimpses of that because it's also chaotic, and it's
- 1:48Speaker 1: also hectic, and it's also super hard when you've lost
- 1:52Speaker 1: somebody that you've loved, especially during well, I was going
- 1:56Speaker 1: to say this year, but any year, any year, you know,
- 1:59Speaker 1: going through holiday season without someone that you were very
- 2:02Speaker 1: very close to, a lost loved one is difficult, no
- 2:06Speaker 1: matter how many years have passed. So so I the
- 2:10Speaker 1: reason why you guys might not think that this is
- 2:12Speaker 1: a spiritual topic, right being enough, but it actually very
- 2:16Speaker 1: much is. And the reason why is because, and I
- 2:19Speaker 1: think I've said this before, it used to be believed
- 2:23Speaker 1: that we are at our highest frequency when we are
- 2:28Speaker 1: the highest frequency is love and gratitude. So you know,
- 2:32Speaker 1: when you're with your family or you're lived with your
- 2:34Speaker 1: loved ones, if you have gratitude and love, then you're
- 2:39Speaker 1: at your highest frequency. But they've had a new study done,
- 2:43Speaker 1: and the people with the highest energy or the highest
- 2:47Speaker 1: and I don't know how they measure this, but they did.
- 2:49Speaker 1: The people was that with the highest energy or the
- 2:52Speaker 1: highest frequency, or people who were being authentic, people who
- 2:57Speaker 1: were being themselves. And it's hard to be in love
- 3:01Speaker 1: and gratitude, and it's hard to be authentic when you're
- 3:05Speaker 1: people pleasing, when you're seeking approval from others, when you're
- 3:10Speaker 1: trying to be someone, you're not at family functions or
- 3:17Speaker 1: just in general. Right, Like the reason why I'm talking
- 3:19Speaker 1: about holiday family functions is because it is the holiday season,
- 3:22Speaker 1: but this can be just in general. And so because
- 3:26Speaker 1: we do tend to be someone, we're not at family
- 3:29Speaker 1: functions because we want the approval of our siblings, or
- 3:32Speaker 1: our parents, or our grandparents or even our own children, right,
- 3:40Speaker 1: And so we we just want so badly. Like I
- 3:43Speaker 1: know for me, sometimes I want so badly to create
- 3:47Speaker 1: this magic that I had when I was little for
- 3:52Speaker 1: Christmas and I want to recreate it.
- 3:54Speaker 2: And and it's.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Hard when you have adult children. It's not hard though
- 3:58Speaker 1: for the grandkids because they of the magic, they love it.
- 4:01Speaker 1: They don't know the drama, they don't know everything that's
- 4:03Speaker 1: going on. So I just want you to know that
- 4:09Speaker 1: you are enough right now, as you are in this moment,
- 4:15Speaker 1: you are enough. And I was just watching Believe in
- 4:18Speaker 1: this morning, a little clip of a video. I think
- 4:23Speaker 1: it's his name's Bashar, I'm not sure, but she says,
- 4:26Speaker 1: why do I care? She asks, why do I care
- 4:28Speaker 1: so much about what people think? And he's like, why
- 4:31Speaker 1: do you? Because when you feel like they don't think
- 4:35Speaker 1: you're enough, when somebody doesn't think you're not good enough,
- 4:39Speaker 1: it only affects you if you believe it.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Right, So, somewhere deep inside.
- 4:44Speaker 1: You you believe that you believe that you weren't a
- 4:47Speaker 1: good parent, or you believe that you weren't a good
- 4:49Speaker 1: spouse or a good child, or a good worker or
- 4:53Speaker 1: a good person. Even somewhere along that line, you believe it.
- 4:56Speaker 1: And I remember telling, you know, back in the day
- 4:59Speaker 1: when I would do some coaching for people, for women especially,
- 5:05Speaker 1: I would say, when somebody tells you that you have
- 5:09Speaker 1: green hair, it doesn't affect you. If you have black
- 5:12Speaker 1: hair and somebody says you have green hair, You're just like, no,
- 5:15Speaker 1: I don't, And it doesn't really affect you because you
- 5:18Speaker 1: know it's not true. You know, withever every fiber of
- 5:21Speaker 1: your being, you know that that's not true. You don't
- 5:23Speaker 1: have green hair, so you don't believe it, and you
- 5:26Speaker 1: kind of think they're crazy and you just kind of
- 5:28Speaker 1: like throw it off, right, But if somebody tells you
- 5:33Speaker 1: you're overweight or you're rude, or you're mean or something,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and you kind of believe that, or maybe you think
- 5:45Speaker 1: that it might be true deep down somewhere, then that's
- 5:48Speaker 1: when it gets you. That's when you or if you know,
- 5:53Speaker 1: if you feel like you did your best in that
- 5:55Speaker 1: situation and you couldn't have done it better, that's when
- 5:58Speaker 1: it gets you. That's when you're like, is their truth
- 6:01Speaker 1: to that? And that's when you start second guessing yourself.
- 6:04Speaker 1: And we also always do this thing that's kind of
- 6:08Speaker 1: held in our sacred chakra, and it's the thing, once
- 6:13Speaker 1: I get to this point, I'll be happy once I
- 6:16Speaker 1: get married. I'll be happy once I get married. I'll
- 6:20Speaker 1: be good enough once I lose ten pounds. I'll be
- 6:24Speaker 1: good enough once I get that promotion.
- 6:27Speaker 2: I'll be good enough.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Once I make this amount of money. I'll be good
- 6:30Speaker 1: enough once I'm successful. I'll be good enough. We play
- 6:35Speaker 1: that scenario and we think that we have to reach
- 6:38Speaker 1: a milestone or we have to be at this expectation
- 6:43Speaker 1: to be good enough, And in reality, you are good
- 6:50Speaker 1: enough right now as you are in this moment.
- 6:53Speaker 2: You've made it.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You've made it, and it doesn't matter if you're in
- 6:57Speaker 1: the middle of the chaos. It doesn't matter if you're
- 6:59Speaker 1: in the middle of the grief. It doesn't matter if
- 7:01Speaker 1: you're in the middle of healing. It doesn't matter if
- 7:03Speaker 1: you just woke up this morning and you have an
- 7:06Speaker 1: addiction problem and you want to be like I want
- 7:09Speaker 1: to change, It doesn't matter. You are good enough because
- 7:12Speaker 1: you exist. You exist, and you are here because you
- 7:18Speaker 1: wanted to be here. I know that's crazy, because sometimes
- 7:20Speaker 1: we're like, what the heck, But you are here and
- 7:23Speaker 1: you are good enough because you make a difference and
- 7:26Speaker 1: whether or not you feel it or not, you do.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And you make a difference to somebody somewhere, And it
- 7:33Speaker 1: doesn't even matter if it's somebody somewhere, You make a
- 7:35Speaker 1: difference to you. You are here to be authentic and
- 7:38Speaker 1: find joy. You are not here to please anybody else.
- 7:43Speaker 1: You are not here to please your husband or your wife,
- 7:47Speaker 1: or your parents, or your children or anybody, Grandpa, grandma, anybody.
- 7:52Speaker 1: You are here to find joy and please yourself, to
- 7:56Speaker 1: be authentic and try so hard especially and all even
- 8:02Speaker 1: in people pleasing. I grew up a people pleaser, and
- 8:07Speaker 1: I have quite a bit of, you know, narcissistic people
- 8:13Speaker 1: that have been in my life. And it's hard when
- 8:15Speaker 1: you're an impath and you want so bad to people please,
- 8:19Speaker 1: and you want so bad people, you want people to
- 8:21Speaker 1: approval so badly that you you just you change for
- 8:26Speaker 1: that person. I call it the chameleon. You you become
- 8:29Speaker 1: a chameleon. And in reality, the only person that you
- 8:35Speaker 1: need to be good enough for is yourself and your creator.
- 8:39Speaker 2: And I have news for you.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Your Creator loves you regardless, regardless, like so much love.
- 8:51Speaker 1: It is unconditional. And so even if you feel like
- 8:56Speaker 1: you make mistakes, to the creator, failure is just look
- 9:02Speaker 1: at yourself to create better? Right to create? And what
- 9:06Speaker 1: is better? And by what measurement is better to somebody else? Right,
- 9:11Speaker 1: success to you could mean success to somebody else completely different.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Success to one person could be having wealth and monetary wealth,
- 9:22Speaker 1: and success to another person could just be having a
- 9:26Speaker 1: healthy relationship. Right, So you kind of have to define
- 9:30Speaker 1: what success is to you and what you want, not
- 9:33Speaker 1: what anybody else wants for you, but for what you
- 9:37Speaker 1: want for you. And so and I know this is
- 9:39Speaker 1: really hard, especially in marriages because there's a co creation
- 9:43Speaker 1: kind of thing going on. But as long as you're
- 9:45Speaker 1: trying to better each other, and as long as you're
- 9:48Speaker 1: trying to help each other and not control each other,
- 9:52Speaker 1: then you should be able to be your authentic self
- 9:54Speaker 1: if you find somebody who loves you for who you
- 9:57Speaker 1: truly are and tries to help you be better and
- 10:01Speaker 1: not hold you down and not want you to be
- 10:04Speaker 1: at their beck and call. And I'm just being honest, Like,
- 10:08Speaker 1: marriage is hard because you sometimes you try to be
- 10:11Speaker 1: authentic and it's hard because you feel like you en
- 10:14Speaker 1: cringe on somebody else. But honestly, that kind of takes time,
- 10:17Speaker 1: and that takes a lot of healthy counseling and trying
- 10:22Speaker 1: to help each other become the best version of yourselves.
- 10:26Speaker 1: And sometimes that doesn't work, and so you have to
- 10:29Speaker 1: decide if you want to stay in it or if
- 10:32Speaker 1: you want to create the best version of yourself somewhere else.
- 10:37Speaker 1: And that's okay, because we have this thing on earth
- 10:41Speaker 1: that says that we you know, if we can't stay
- 10:44Speaker 1: in a marriage, we failed, and that is not true.
- 10:47Speaker 2: That is not true. It's you.
- 10:49Speaker 1: You can't expect to fall in love with somebody when
- 10:52Speaker 1: you're twenty and if you're not working on it constantly.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Still maybe you know, be in love together when you're eight.
- 11:00Speaker 1: You totally can be. And but that's constantly working and
- 11:04Speaker 1: making it work, not I mean, this is a hard situation, right,
- 11:08Speaker 1: because because it works both ways. If you're in a
- 11:11Speaker 1: marriage for fifty to sixty years, congratulations, that's awesome.
- 11:14Speaker 2: And you guys could help.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Each other be your better selves, more power to you.
- 11:19Speaker 1: And if you if you couldn't and you've been in
- 11:21Speaker 1: like your third marriage and you're trying to find something healthy,
- 11:25Speaker 1: that's okay too. There's no rules on how to make
- 11:28Speaker 1: it perfect, right, the rules of being married to the
- 11:32Speaker 1: same person. Your whole life was created by a religion,
- 11:35Speaker 1: by religion, and so it's we don't even know, deep
- 11:39Speaker 1: do I'm deep if that's even the truth, right, if
- 11:42Speaker 1: that's even true, that we're supposed to be with one
- 11:44Speaker 1: person for the rest of our lives. So if you're
- 11:47Speaker 1: like going through, if you have been great, if you
- 11:51Speaker 1: want to, that's great too. If you couldn't be with
- 11:54Speaker 1: someone the same person for the rest of your life, that's
- 11:57Speaker 1: okay too. You are enough where you are in this
- 12:01Speaker 1: moment right now, in whatever type of relationship you're in,
- 12:05Speaker 1: and I just can't even tell you enough how important
- 12:10Speaker 1: that is for you to know. Because we and I
- 12:13Speaker 1: want to be really careful here because we feel like
- 12:17Speaker 1: we owe people. We are obligated to people. We're obligated
- 12:21Speaker 1: to chill our children because they're our children. We're obligated
- 12:24Speaker 1: to our parents because they're our parents. We're obligated to
- 12:27Speaker 1: our spouse because they're our spouse, and responsible people and
- 12:33Speaker 1: people who love to be around that that could be
- 12:36Speaker 1: true in some way, but really, honestly, in the truth,
- 12:42Speaker 1: you are not obligated to anybody, and you don't owe
- 12:47Speaker 1: anybody anything. Now that being said, I'm looking kind of
- 12:51Speaker 1: like at older children, because if you have children, you
- 12:55Speaker 1: need to take care of them, give them. You need
- 12:58Speaker 1: to give them love and shelter and clothing and the
- 13:01Speaker 1: most healthy, healthy, healthy life that they could have until
- 13:07Speaker 1: they're older and grown, and then they can decide what
- 13:10Speaker 1: they want to do. And if part of that decision
- 13:13Speaker 1: is not being around you as a parent. That's their deal,
- 13:18Speaker 1: and you are still good enough as long as you
- 13:21Speaker 1: can look at your creator and say I did the
- 13:25Speaker 1: best I could and really feel that in your heart.
- 13:29Speaker 1: You own nobody anything, so your kids.
- 13:32Speaker 2: It works both ways too.
- 13:34Speaker 1: You don't owe your kids anything and they don't owe
- 13:36Speaker 1: you anything. They're not obligated to you just because you
- 13:40Speaker 1: had them, and you're not obligated to them just because
- 13:43Speaker 1: you had them. And same with parents. You're not obligated
- 13:46Speaker 1: to your parents just because you had them, just because
- 13:49Speaker 1: they had you, and they're not obligated.
- 13:51Speaker 2: To you because they were your parents.
- 13:54Speaker 1: In this society today, we feel like because their family
- 13:59Speaker 1: were obligatated because they're my family, I have to go
- 14:03Speaker 1: to Thanksgiving because they're my parents, I have to go
- 14:06Speaker 1: to Christmas.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Because I'm obligated.
- 14:10Speaker 1: And we do get that from the teachings of Christ,
- 14:15Speaker 1: because we want to be christ Like and we want
- 14:18Speaker 1: to be loving and giving. But we've come to that
- 14:24Speaker 1: now in these days as being loving and giving and
- 14:27Speaker 1: sacrificing our own boundaries and our own needs and our
- 14:32Speaker 1: own health because we're obligated because they're are family. And
- 14:36Speaker 1: that's when it gets hard. So you have every right
- 14:42Speaker 1: to put your needs first. It's not selfish, but we
- 14:45Speaker 1: are brought up in a christ Like society to believe
- 14:49Speaker 1: that it is to put ourself first. But the thing
- 14:54Speaker 1: that you have to understand is it's so christ Like
- 14:57Speaker 1: to help other people. It is, but not when you
- 15:00Speaker 1: can't function yourself, or not when you're in a healthy
- 15:03Speaker 1: state to be able to help those people. It's such
- 15:07Speaker 1: a give and take kind of thing because you can
- 15:10Speaker 1: lose yourself in service, and you can a lot of times.
- 15:16Speaker 1: I remember in my religion they would saying, if you
- 15:20Speaker 1: ever feel depressed or selfish, then serve somebody and it
- 15:24Speaker 1: would go away. And that's not entirely true, because you
- 15:27Speaker 1: could serve and serve and serve, and at the end
- 15:31Speaker 1: of the day, your family and you come first. You
- 15:36Speaker 1: come first, because you can't give two others if you
- 15:42Speaker 1: don't have the energy, or if you're depressed or you're sad,
- 15:45Speaker 1: and if you just keep giving and giving and giving,
- 15:48Speaker 1: your light's gonna burn out. Your light's gonna burn out.
- 15:51Speaker 1: You're not gonna have anything left to give. And so
- 15:57Speaker 1: you have to just know that even if you're in
- 16:00Speaker 1: a time in a season right now that you can't give,
- 16:03Speaker 1: and everybody else is giving, and everybody else is like,
- 16:05Speaker 1: you need to give. You're good enough. If you don't,
- 16:08Speaker 1: you're good enough in your right now. And if you're
- 16:11Speaker 1: right now, season is taking care of you, then take
- 16:15Speaker 1: care of you. Because to everything, there's a season. Right
- 16:18Speaker 1: everything there's a season. And if you're a parent raising
- 16:21Speaker 1: little kids, it might not be your season to give
- 16:24Speaker 1: right now. You might be focused on your family. If
- 16:28Speaker 1: you're a parent with older kids and you're empty nesters,
- 16:32Speaker 1: and then you might be able it might be your
- 16:36Speaker 1: season to give. It might be your season to take
- 16:40Speaker 1: care of yourself right now and to heal yourself, because
- 16:44Speaker 1: you can't give anybody else oxygen if you don't put
- 16:49Speaker 1: your oxygen mask on first. So what I'm saying is
- 16:55Speaker 1: I guess you know, like get up on tangents.
- 16:57Speaker 2: So welcome to spunky spirit. You know that I do
- 16:59Speaker 2: this all the time.
- 17:01Speaker 1: The reason why I brought the christ like thing up
- 17:03Speaker 1: is because even Christ had boundaries, you guys, even Christ
- 17:08Speaker 1: took care of himself, there were I mean, when he
- 17:12Speaker 1: found out about John the Baptist death.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Death. Now, don't quote me on Bible stuff.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I think I I kind of know some of the stories,
- 17:19Speaker 1: but I'm not like I need to actually probably start
- 17:22Speaker 1: reading the Bible again. But he when he found out
- 17:30Speaker 1: about John the Baptist's death, he left for three days
- 17:34Speaker 1: to mourn and to grieve. And when he went to
- 17:39Speaker 1: and I read this in a book. I don't think
- 17:41Speaker 1: this was in the Bible, but it was by a
- 17:44Speaker 1: Bible scholar. I'll have to look at the book. I'll
- 17:47Speaker 1: have to look for the book. But when he went
- 17:49Speaker 1: to raise Lazareth, I think was from the from the death,
- 17:53Speaker 1: from the dead.
- 17:55Speaker 2: He I think it took three days to get there.
- 17:58Speaker 1: But when he got there, I think I remember reading
- 18:01Speaker 1: that he had to shut the naysayers out before he
- 18:04Speaker 1: could bring Lazarus back to life, because he couldn't be
- 18:08Speaker 1: surrounded by the people who didn't believe in him, by
- 18:11Speaker 1: the people who didn't think he was good enough. Right,
- 18:14Speaker 1: So if Christ can't even like be around those people
- 18:19Speaker 1: then to do his magic, I mean he could probably be.
- 18:22Speaker 1: He could probably have done it, but you have to remember.
- 18:25Speaker 1: My belief is I love the Christ. I believe in Christ.
- 18:31Speaker 1: But he wasn't here to be worshiped by us. He
- 18:33Speaker 1: was here to teach us what we are capable of doing,
- 18:37Speaker 1: and what is possible and what we can can do.
- 18:42Speaker 1: If we believe in our self enough and love our
- 18:45Speaker 1: self enough and have confidence in our self enough, we
- 18:49Speaker 1: can do those those magical things. We can we can
- 18:54Speaker 1: do those things. And I think that he was here
- 18:57Speaker 1: to teach that, to help us raise our frequency. And
- 19:00Speaker 1: even he got angry in the temple and threw things
- 19:05Speaker 1: around because because he was also human, right, but he
- 19:13Speaker 1: never doubted. He had unconditional love for everybody. But he
- 19:19Speaker 1: still had to have boundaries, just like in that temple.
- 19:24Speaker 1: And when he had unconditional love for everybody, he also
- 19:27Speaker 1: didn't think that he was more in he was inferior
- 19:30Speaker 1: or superior to anybody. He treated everybody as equals. So
- 19:35Speaker 1: even like the people, even the wealthy, he treated them
- 19:39Speaker 1: the same way as he did the sick and the lame.
- 19:42Speaker 1: And so because he knew everybody was good enough the
- 19:50Speaker 1: way they were at that moment. And so if you
- 19:54Speaker 1: go through this holiday season and you doubt yourself, and
- 19:58Speaker 1: you people pleased to try and please your family, and
- 20:02Speaker 1: you try, and you know, change so you can so
- 20:05Speaker 1: they can be proud of you, You remember that you
- 20:09Speaker 1: are good enough because you exist, because you are on
- 20:14Speaker 1: this planet because you're supposed to be and you don't
- 20:19Speaker 1: have to be wealthy. You don't have to own your
- 20:22Speaker 1: own business, you don't have to kiss the boss's butt.
- 20:27Speaker 1: You don't have you don't have to try and people
- 20:34Speaker 1: please your parents, or your siblings or your children. All
- 20:38Speaker 1: that matters is that you feel good with who you are,
- 20:44Speaker 1: and if you don't, then you know that that's something
- 20:46Speaker 1: you need to work on and you need to go
- 20:48Speaker 1: to counseling and figure out why. But you know, other
- 20:52Speaker 1: people's opinions are not fact. They're not fact. So when
- 20:56Speaker 1: somebody tells you you're tired, you're lazy, or you're not successful,
- 21:00Speaker 1: or you're not good enough, that's like them telling you
- 21:04Speaker 1: you have green hair. The only reason you will even
- 21:08Speaker 1: let it bother you is because somewhere deep inside you,
- 21:11Speaker 1: you think it's true. So if there's a child of
- 21:16Speaker 1: yours that doesn't think you were a good enough parent,
- 21:20Speaker 1: or if there's a parent of yours that doesn't think
- 21:22Speaker 1: you were a good enough child, that's their opinion, completely
- 21:27Speaker 1: their opinion, and it doesn't shouldn't affect you at all,
- 21:32Speaker 1: because if you know you did the best you could,
- 21:37Speaker 1: there's nothing else you can do. And if you don't
- 21:39Speaker 1: think you did the best, you could then go to
- 21:41Speaker 1: counseling or go to that child and try and talk
- 21:44Speaker 1: it out. But you know what, you are enough right
- 21:49Speaker 1: now in this moment.
- 21:51Speaker 2: And here's the thing.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Karma is real. Karma is a very very real thing,
- 21:57Speaker 1: and it's not a revengeful thing. It's just a universal law.
- 22:03Speaker 1: So if somebody is putting out to you that you're
- 22:06Speaker 1: not good enough, or if one of your spouse's siblings
- 22:11Speaker 1: or children are putting out to you that you're not
- 22:14Speaker 1: good enough, one hundred percent, it will come back to them.
- 22:19Speaker 1: It will come back to them, and down the line
- 22:22Speaker 1: they'll be put in the same spot in a similar situation.
- 22:26Speaker 1: And not that it's revengeful. It's just that you get
- 22:28Speaker 1: what you put out there and you reap what you sew.
- 22:32Speaker 1: And even Jesus taught that in the Bible. So if
- 22:37Speaker 1: you and if you focus on what other people think
- 22:41Speaker 1: of you, then you'll get that back to You need
- 22:44Speaker 1: to know that you are good enough. You are divinely guided,
- 22:51Speaker 1: you are you are part of the Creator, and you're
- 22:55Speaker 1: good right now where you are, where you stand because
- 22:59Speaker 1: you exist, not because you have to prove anything to anybody.
- 23:05Speaker 1: So I just want you to know that because I
- 23:08Speaker 1: know in a lot of my readings lately, especially during
- 23:12Speaker 1: the holidays, there's lots of siblings not talking to each other.
- 23:16Speaker 1: There's lots of parents not talking to children, and children
- 23:19Speaker 1: not talking to parents, and families fighting. And I want
- 23:22Speaker 1: you to know that that's all okay, because most likely
- 23:26Speaker 1: it's because there's boundaries in place. Somewhere, there's boundaries, and
- 23:30Speaker 1: somebody doesn't feel comfortable with somebody.
- 23:32Speaker 2: And that's all okay.
- 23:34Speaker 1: But I just don't want you to feel like you're
- 23:38Speaker 1: the problem, or have you take it on as you
- 23:42Speaker 1: caused it, because even if you did, family dynamics are
- 23:49Speaker 1: so hard, right because there are people who do cause
- 23:52Speaker 1: trauma and drama, and there are people that you just
- 23:55Speaker 1: don't want to be around because they suck the energy
- 23:58Speaker 1: right out of you.
- 24:00Speaker 2: And so I get that.
- 24:01Speaker 1: And if you are one of those people that don't,
- 24:03Speaker 1: and I'm telling here, I'm sitting here telling you that
- 24:05Speaker 1: you're not the problem, then that's that's not okay, right.
- 24:09Speaker 1: But as where you stand, if you you know, if
- 24:14Speaker 1: you only if you if your intentions are good and
- 24:19Speaker 1: your intentions are not to manipulate people, and you have
- 24:24Speaker 1: done the best you can, then most likely it's a
- 24:28Speaker 1: day problem, right, But it's cool if you look inside
- 24:32Speaker 1: yourself and think, okay, wait, is there something that I
- 24:35Speaker 1: could have done better? Or is there something that I
- 24:37Speaker 1: need to work on now? Could have done better? Isn't
- 24:39Speaker 1: an issue because it's past. But can I fix it now?
- 24:43Speaker 1: Can I fix it now? But this is like too
- 24:47Speaker 1: much of like family dynamics, holiday stuff. It's you know,
- 24:51Speaker 1: there are reasons for trauma. And if you don't want
- 24:53Speaker 1: to go to family functions, that's your thing. And if
- 24:57Speaker 1: you have a sibling or a child or a parent
- 24:59Speaker 1: who does I want to come to your family functions,
- 25:02Speaker 1: that's their thing and that's okay. And you just need
- 25:06Speaker 1: to know that no matter the reasons, no matter what,
- 25:11Speaker 1: you are good enough. You are good enough. And if
- 25:15Speaker 1: they don't think you are, that's their problem and you
- 25:18Speaker 1: need to not dwell on that. That's what I'm trying
- 25:20Speaker 1: to say. You are loved by the divine, You are
- 25:23Speaker 1: part of the creator, and so are they, but for
- 25:26Speaker 1: some reason you're just not meshing and it's okay.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Don't look down on yourself for that.
- 25:35Speaker 1: This really went really far on a tangent of me
- 25:39Speaker 1: just going to take fifteen minutes to tell you that
- 25:40Speaker 1: you're good enough. You it's just hard because there's so
- 25:46Speaker 1: many different components to family dynamics, and there's so many
- 25:51Speaker 1: different boundaries.
- 25:53Speaker 2: And you know, there's.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Families are tough and but they're they also can be
- 26:00Speaker 1: beautiful and loving, and there can be people in your
- 26:04Speaker 1: family you don't get along with, and there can be
- 26:06Speaker 1: people that you you know, are like twins with, and
- 26:10Speaker 1: so just don't be so hard on yourself and just
- 26:13Speaker 1: know that you are loved and a lot of that too.
- 26:18Speaker 1: If it's not worked out on earth, it will be
- 26:20Speaker 1: worked out on the other side, because when we go
- 26:23Speaker 1: over to the other side, we'll see each other's life.
- 26:26Speaker 1: You'll see your life review, and you'll see why people
- 26:28Speaker 1: do the things that they do, and you'll have a
- 26:30Speaker 1: lot more compassion and stay with them. They'll have a
- 26:33Speaker 1: lot more compassion. So don't focus on the drama, don't
- 26:36Speaker 1: focus on the on the well she said, he said,
- 26:40Speaker 1: don't focus on well, well, this person. I don't want
- 26:43Speaker 1: to be around this person, you know, focus on the
- 26:47Speaker 1: beauty and the love and the magic. I really, honestly
- 26:53Speaker 1: have just started focusing on the grandchildren because bless my
- 26:57Speaker 1: grandma's heart, I feel like, you know, she would make
- 27:02Speaker 1: a big gathering, very special Christmas gathering. But as a child,
- 27:07Speaker 1: I never saw the drama with it. I never saw
- 27:11Speaker 1: my dad drinking all the time at this Christmas. I
- 27:13Speaker 1: mean I saw it, but I was used to my
- 27:15Speaker 1: dad drinking, right. But I didn't know the others looked
- 27:18Speaker 1: down upon it. I didn't know that there were, you know, siblings,
- 27:23Speaker 1: sibling rivalry. I didn't know that some of the you know,
- 27:27Speaker 1: some of the kids didn't didn't like my grandma. I
- 27:31Speaker 1: didn't know any of that. And so now I look
- 27:34Speaker 1: on it and think, wow, I was either oblivious to
- 27:37Speaker 1: it or I was a child. And child children when
- 27:41Speaker 1: they're really young, they don't know and so and that
- 27:44Speaker 1: it doesn't matter to them because all they see is
- 27:46Speaker 1: the magic. So that's what I You know, if you
- 27:51Speaker 1: can look past the trauma, keep your boundaries, but look
- 27:55Speaker 1: past that and find the magic in the little things,
- 27:59Speaker 1: and find you know, the faith in who you are
- 28:04Speaker 1: and the magic and who you are because you have
- 28:07Speaker 1: everything you already need inside of you, and the fact
- 28:10Speaker 1: that you know that no matter what anybody thinks you
- 28:13Speaker 1: are good enough and no matter what anybody says, you
- 28:18Speaker 1: are good enough. And if you feel like you've screwed up,
- 28:21Speaker 1: you can fix it. And if they won't let you
- 28:23Speaker 1: fix it, you know in your heart you have I
- 28:25Speaker 1: guess that's what I'm trying to say. Family dynamics are tough,
- 28:29Speaker 1: but as long as you know that you are perfect
- 28:33Speaker 1: in every way right now in this moment, and not perfect,
- 28:37Speaker 1: but because you don't have to be perfect, but for
- 28:39Speaker 1: right now, in this moment, you are enough that you
- 28:47Speaker 1: can create your own magic. You can do this, and
- 28:50Speaker 1: you can do anything you put your mind to or
- 28:54Speaker 1: your heart to, and you don't need anybody else's approval
- 28:59Speaker 1: or anybody else's opinion, or anybody's stamp of satisfactory or
- 29:04Speaker 1: a gold star, because you have everything you already need
- 29:09Speaker 1: and you are enough. So I don't want you to
- 29:14Speaker 1: go through because the reason why is because you know,
- 29:16Speaker 1: you go through all this counseling and you work on
- 29:21Speaker 1: those lower chakras and you get all that stuff, and
- 29:24Speaker 1: then you hit it the holidays and it's like all
- 29:26Speaker 1: of that work is like you feel like it might
- 29:28Speaker 1: be gone in like five seconds.
- 29:30Speaker 2: It's not.
- 29:31Speaker 1: It's just a little bit of a step back, and
- 29:33Speaker 1: it's just a little bit of you testing all the
- 29:36Speaker 1: work you've done, right, It's just all the work you've done.
- 29:39Speaker 1: And just know too, I do so many readings and
- 29:43Speaker 1: every there's just so many people out there that are
- 29:47Speaker 1: that are that are that are having family trauma and
- 29:50Speaker 1: they don't get to see some of their loved ones
- 29:52Speaker 1: at Christmas because somebody chooses not to come, or somebody
- 29:56Speaker 1: chooses not to be part of the family anymore, or
- 30:00Speaker 1: somebody chooses It's not just a it's it's a very
- 30:04Speaker 1: common thing that comes through and almost all my readings,
- 30:07Speaker 1: lots of siblings not talking to each other, lots of
- 30:10Speaker 1: all of that. And so you're not it's not just
- 30:14Speaker 1: your family, it's not just you. It's it's it's it's
- 30:19Speaker 1: I it's sad to say it's a normal thing. But
- 30:21Speaker 1: as long as you focus on you and what you
- 30:24Speaker 1: can control in your world and not anybody else, and
- 30:29Speaker 1: you know that you are enough, then this Christmas, this
- 30:34Speaker 1: holiday season will be magical. And you know, especially when
- 30:42Speaker 1: people go through you know, divorces or family trauma like that,
- 30:47Speaker 1: it can be hard because and and then you because
- 30:50Speaker 1: the you know, children can pick different parents, and then
- 30:53Speaker 1: you've got once they are older, you got in laws,
- 30:55Speaker 1: and then you know you're trying to take care of
- 30:58Speaker 1: your parents.
- 30:58Speaker 2: It's just can be a lot.
- 31:00Speaker 1: And so I just want you to know to take
- 31:03Speaker 1: a deep breath, step back, deep breath, and know that
- 31:07Speaker 1: you're beautifully and wonderfully made, and you are cross. It
- 31:12Speaker 1: is christ Like to take care of yourself so you
- 31:15Speaker 1: can take care of those other things when you're healthy
- 31:17Speaker 1: enough to do it. So I feel like this whole
- 31:21Speaker 1: podc this whole episode was kind of like a really
- 31:25Speaker 1: was just like adhd blah blah blah blah blah squirrel.
- 31:28Speaker 1: But honestly, it's just so important.
- 31:31Speaker 2: My message to.
- 31:33Speaker 1: This time is to let you know that holidays can
- 31:37Speaker 1: be tough. And you know, when you're little, they're magical
- 31:40Speaker 1: and wonderful, they can be magical and wonderful. Well, and
- 31:42Speaker 1: use you get older, they lose that luster because because
- 31:46Speaker 1: family stuff happens, chaos happens, and so just knowing that
- 31:51Speaker 1: you're enough this year might be just the magic that
- 31:55Speaker 1: you need to get through this holiday season to know
- 31:58Speaker 1: that you love yourself unconditionally, that you are enough, and
- 32:04Speaker 1: that you are unconditionally loved by your ancestors, by your
- 32:08Speaker 1: spirit team, and by the divine and by you. And
- 32:14Speaker 1: if you are still struggling with being able to look
- 32:17Speaker 1: in the mirror and tell yourself that you love yourself
- 32:19Speaker 1: or that you're enough, then you probably need to do
- 32:22Speaker 1: some work there. And that's always in the lower chakras, right,
- 32:26Speaker 1: those are the ones that hold all the guck. So
- 32:30Speaker 1: I love you guys so much, and I hope that
- 32:33Speaker 1: this in some way helps. I know it was just
- 32:34Speaker 1: me blabbing and blabbing and blabbing, but it's just it's
- 32:38Speaker 1: been something that's been coming up a lot in my readings,
- 32:41Speaker 1: and I just really wanted you to all know that
- 32:44Speaker 1: you are enough. You are You are enough, whether you
- 32:49Speaker 1: believe it or not, you are And so I'm so
- 32:53Speaker 1: incredibly proud of you, and I love you. And I
- 32:57Speaker 1: will see you. Oh I was gonna say I will
- 33:00Speaker 1: see you next week. But this is my birthday month
- 33:03Speaker 1: and we are going to Disneyland for my birthday because
- 33:05Speaker 1: you know what.
- 33:07Speaker 2: I took it.
- 33:08Speaker 1: I decided to take a trip to Disneyland on my
- 33:10Speaker 1: birthday because I love me. I know that sounds so
- 33:16Speaker 1: just as you know what I decided I.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Want to do something fun.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I want to go to my favorite place, and I
- 33:22Speaker 1: want to do something that's healthy for me, and that's
- 33:24Speaker 1: what I'm doing this year. So this is just your
- 33:27Speaker 1: reminder that do something fun for yourself.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Find the magic.
- 33:30Speaker 1: And I think the reason why I love Disney so
- 33:32Speaker 1: much Disneyland is because I do feel like it's magical.
- 33:37Speaker 1: The whole intention of Disneyland is magical, and Disneyland at
- 33:40Speaker 1: Christmas time, to me, what could be more magical Because
- 33:44Speaker 1: my favorite time of the year is Christmas and my
- 33:47Speaker 1: favorite place in the world and I have been to
- 33:50Speaker 1: a love is Disneyland, and so to put those two
- 33:52Speaker 1: things together for me as magic, Christmas is still very
- 33:57Speaker 1: magical for me.
- 33:58Speaker 2: But I also.
- 34:04Speaker 1: No that chaos and family and little things like that
- 34:08Speaker 1: can get in the way of finding the magic at Christmas.
- 34:11Speaker 1: But I just want you to remember to look for
- 34:16Speaker 1: the magic moments. And part of the magic is in you,
- 34:20Speaker 1: not in somebody else, not in somebody else's approval of you.
- 34:23Speaker 2: It's in you.
- 34:25Speaker 1: So I love you guys so much, and I will
- 34:27Speaker 1: maybe see you next week. I'll try and get one
- 34:30Speaker 1: done before I go to Disney. Okay, love you guys.
