- 0:11Speaker 3: To seven every weekday on radio.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Yeah, man, give me fells again? Yeah, good things? Maker?
- 0:19Speaker 1: Here are you well? I'm not I'm cramping a bit,
- 0:22Speaker 1: but otherwise I'm good. Right. How are you kezy?
- 0:25Speaker 4: I'm pretty good. We're just playing with our levels. Keys
- 0:27Speaker 4: is not happy with my volume. You guys are really
- 0:30Speaker 4: quiet in my years, which is my years. There we go.
- 0:38Speaker 3: For those of you tuning in, We're a parrot, Parrot
- 0:40Speaker 3: dog and Lyle Bay and tell you what, it's bloody great.
- 0:45Speaker 3: I've got a view of all the planes taking off
- 0:47Speaker 3: from the airport there, fellows, looks like a good crowd
- 0:50Speaker 3: coming in.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Should be a good one.
- 0:52Speaker 4: Should be a ripper, mate, should be a ripper. She's
- 0:54Speaker 4: cool down here, nippy. Yeah, I think we can agree
- 0:57Speaker 4: on that. But it wasn't as bad as I thought
- 0:58Speaker 4: it was going to be. It was meant to be
- 1:00Speaker 4: l four Southerlys, but they're just yes, you.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Know, it's still blowing a gale out there.
- 1:04Speaker 4: Well, it's windy compared to Auckland, but it's not windy
- 1:06Speaker 4: compared to Wellington.
- 1:08Speaker 3: No, you know, and you sent a message on the
- 1:11Speaker 3: chat today from one of your mates saying postpone, postpone,
- 1:14Speaker 3: and then you were like oh and he said, no,
- 1:16Speaker 3: I'm being serious.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Soon around go home.
- 1:19Speaker 3: So I was expecting the very worse. Actually it has been,
- 1:23Speaker 3: to be honest, one of the more pleasant days I've
- 1:24Speaker 3: had in Wellington's. It's nippy, certainly, but it's not too
- 1:28Speaker 3: windy and it's not pizzling with the rain.
- 1:29Speaker 4: What would it take for you to move here? Kizer?
- 1:31Speaker 4: You hate it?
- 1:33Speaker 6: Probably some sort of No, I would never move here.
- 1:35Speaker 6: I just would never move here because there's nothing here
- 1:37Speaker 6: for me.
- 1:37Speaker 4: There's a dollar to him, there's a dollar. Yes, there's
- 1:40Speaker 4: a dollar that would convince you.
- 1:41Speaker 6: So if I was getting double what I'm on now,
- 1:43Speaker 6: So if I was on a mill, i'd be down
- 1:46Speaker 6: here maybe yeah. But even then, man, the sacrifice I making,
- 1:49Speaker 6: I know, have being no family down here.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I love you. Just banging around here about the cold is.
- 1:57Speaker 3: What is really tempting, actually is some of the places
- 2:00Speaker 3: down here are beautiful.
- 2:00Speaker 1: They are, and it's not Auckland prices.
- 2:03Speaker 3: So there is that, yeah, but that's for a reason.
- 2:06Speaker 3: There is that yeah. You know, I'm just looking out
- 2:09Speaker 3: across here and it's like, it's.
- 2:11Speaker 4: A beautiful beach here, a beautiful city.
- 2:12Speaker 3: I've been swimming there before froze my balls off, Yes,
- 2:15Speaker 3: but you know, refreshing, Oh yeah, wakes you up.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Yeah, me wakes you up.
- 2:19Speaker 6: Well, that's what Poke said when we landed. He's like, Oh,
- 2:21Speaker 6: that beach is great, And I'm like, is it fucking great?
- 2:25Speaker 6: Or is it just like good for willing to think about?
- 2:27Speaker 4: As you get a hot day and I'm talking twenty
- 2:28Speaker 4: one twenty two degrees, which is like sort of forty
- 2:31Speaker 4: three anywhere else in the country. For some reason, it
- 2:34Speaker 4: is anything. Man, I'm going to get in for a swim,
- 2:36Speaker 4: but the ocean doesn't get the message that it's hot
- 2:39Speaker 4: outside because it takes weeks and weeks and weeks of
- 2:42Speaker 4: good weather for the ocean to warm up, which, of
- 2:45Speaker 4: course it never gets here, so it's always fucking arctic.
- 2:48Speaker 4: You're still swimming it.
- 2:49Speaker 3: That reminds me of when I was filming down here
- 2:53Speaker 3: once and one of my scenes was to rescue this
- 2:55Speaker 3: woman from the ship.
- 2:57Speaker 4: Oh you me.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Swim and I think it was a lifeguard. I was No,
- 3:04Speaker 3: that wasn't my character, but he was also a part
- 3:06Speaker 3: time lifeguard, and I had to save this woman. So
- 3:10Speaker 3: I had to dive into the water, lift her in
- 3:13Speaker 3: the water, and then and then take her up to
- 3:17Speaker 3: the top of the beach.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I swear to God, I nearly had.
- 3:19Speaker 4: A heart at Did they film it in a kiddi's pool?
- 3:22Speaker 3: No, it was It was a legit ocean and I
- 3:24Speaker 3: was fucking freezing, but actually running holding a person in sand.
- 3:30Speaker 4: It was horridous of people picking up their woman and
- 3:35Speaker 4: carrying them around. Yes, it's not easy. It's not easy.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Do you do that keysing?
- 3:40Speaker 5: No, We're not getting into me lifting up my wife.
- 3:42Speaker 6: I'm just know what's going to happen next, because it'd
- 3:45Speaker 6: be hard for you to lift your wife.
- 3:46Speaker 3: My wife often piggybacks me, does she Yeah, it's more.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Like a koala though, You're like, you know what what
- 3:55Speaker 2: happens when we're at the back, for example, and we
- 3:57Speaker 2: have to cross a little stream. I don't like taking
- 3:59Speaker 2: a sho and so she piggybacks across the streets.
- 4:04Speaker 4: But she lays down, she lays down her jacket and puddles.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Yes, she does. Man, it's fucking great.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Well, I'm going to say it's good to be here.
- 4:14Speaker 4: It is absolutely crazy to me that in the four
- 4:17Speaker 4: and a half years that we've been going pretty much,
- 4:19Speaker 4: yes four years, that we've never done a show here.
- 4:24Speaker 5: Well, it's it's a shithole moge.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I forget that. We're hugely popular down here. Yeah,
- 4:30Speaker 4: it is bizarre, It is very odd. I think I
- 4:33Speaker 4: think this will either make us do more or less.
- 4:36Speaker 7: Yes, the Whoarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hierarchy.
- 4:42Speaker 7: The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy Tune
- 4:46Speaker 7: in on radio.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I've done a few shows down here in the past
- 4:50Speaker 1: and I've gone off right always yeah right, So, yeah,
- 4:54Speaker 1: it has been.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Crazy, and particularly because you know, we're massively into Beervan
- 4:58Speaker 3: and were just our ski jeweling on that front.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Was always terrible because it always ended up.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Doing our show in the middle of us of the
- 5:05Speaker 3: two sessions, and so no one was there.
- 5:07Speaker 4: That's right. So if you don't know be Avana, they
- 5:09Speaker 4: do a morning in, an afternoon session or afternoon and
- 5:11Speaker 4: evening and between the hours of four and five they
- 5:14Speaker 4: swap over, so everything gets emptied out to clean up,
- 5:18Speaker 4: and then the next slow come in. It's one hour
- 5:20Speaker 4: or an hour and a half, so we start so
- 5:22Speaker 4: between four and five, the ideas we're coming down here
- 5:25Speaker 4: and do our live show for people. There's literally only
- 5:27Speaker 4: cleaners there. The whole all of the Caketon has empty
- 5:31Speaker 4: bar cleaners until very odd decision. And so not only
- 5:34Speaker 4: did we do it one year, we've done it two
- 5:35Speaker 4: or three years.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I think it was the last time we went fuck,
- 5:38Speaker 1: that's ridiculous.
- 5:39Speaker 6: And agree it gets to the point in our show
- 5:41Speaker 6: we were doing like I don't know, starting to wrap
- 5:44Speaker 6: things up and then the crowd comes in. Yes, it's
- 5:46Speaker 6: fucking weird, but it's great to be here at the
- 5:48Speaker 6: pub and I'm ready for a bit of a night.
- 5:50Speaker 6: And it's a good sign because it was three o'clock
- 5:52Speaker 6: and in front of the little set up we've got here,
- 5:54Speaker 6: it was already quite busy.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Yeah it's quite a few.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it's always. I wonder how busy it as generally.
- 6:01Speaker 3: But I'm looking around. There's a lot of backbones here.
- 6:04Speaker 4: There is a lot of backbones here already, and I
- 6:06Speaker 4: think we got I think we've got a lot of
- 6:09Speaker 4: trady backbones in Willington, So I think you'll find they'll
- 6:11Speaker 4: turn up from four to thirty five. Yes, they should
- 6:15Speaker 4: really knock off to the fear of them.
- 6:16Speaker 1: But yeah, totally men, totally. But it is great.
- 6:19Speaker 4: But the beer is flowing like wine. Yeah yeah, and
- 6:24Speaker 4: Joe you're pumped.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm feeling good Man, should be fine, looking forward Tottel.
- 6:33Speaker 1: You know, chilling up? Well, it's I know, you feel
- 6:35Speaker 1: I was going to have a big one.
- 6:36Speaker 4: And he's a lovely she's a lovely hotel.
- 6:39Speaker 1: It is. Well.
- 6:40Speaker 4: The thing about this is it's a good opportunity for
- 6:42Speaker 4: me to hopefully catch up with some people. I know.
- 6:45Speaker 4: It's sort of a sponsored trip, you know what I mean, flights,
- 6:48Speaker 4: accommodation and hopefully free pass.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Well I'll definitely as we I make the most. You
- 6:55Speaker 4: know what I'm saying.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Man, Yeah, I totally know what you're saying.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Yeah, Hey you feeling man? You look a bit green
- 7:01Speaker 4: around the gills, sweetie, Man, you're good man?
- 7:05Speaker 1: Okay, you talking about I had a dream on you.
- 7:08Speaker 6: I had a dream last night. It was quite funny
- 7:10Speaker 6: where I woke up. So I woke up in real
- 7:13Speaker 6: life and was like, but that fucking will happen too.
- 7:17Speaker 6: What happened in the dream was we were doing the
- 7:18Speaker 6: live show in Wellington and were like went to start.
- 7:21Speaker 6: We looked down at the show planner and there was
- 7:23Speaker 6: just nothing written there, and one of you guys was just.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Like, oh, Kezy's got his massive shoes on, and then
- 7:31Speaker 5: the whole park cracked up laughing. And then I was
- 7:34Speaker 5: just like, oh, hey, what's on the show that I goes?
- 7:36Speaker 6: Oh Kezy's got big shoes, and then everyone laughed and
- 7:39Speaker 6: then it was just like that was a really.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Good boy, We're gonna have to start the show.
- 7:44Speaker 5: And I woke up and I was just like, I
- 7:45Speaker 5: bet that fucking will happen.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Didn't have good that break will be bro, you've dreamed it,
- 7:49Speaker 4: you've dreamed it people.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Was the audience appreciating it?
- 7:52Speaker 5: Unfortunately?
- 7:53Speaker 6: Yeah, But it was just like I woke up and
- 7:55Speaker 6: was like, that's exactly what we were when.
- 7:56Speaker 1: You are wearing your floaters too, that what is a floater?
- 8:00Speaker 5: Just stop making up nicknames for stuff.
- 8:02Speaker 1: It's just they're just massive paddles.
- 8:05Speaker 5: They are the big land kayaks.
- 8:06Speaker 6: And to be honest, today, hopping out of that uber
- 8:10Speaker 6: you and I took from lunch, yes, I couldn't get
- 8:13Speaker 6: my foot out because his seat was back and I
- 8:15Speaker 6: couldn't get my foot out because of how big my
- 8:17Speaker 6: shoe was.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Wouldn't it be amazing if you died trying to escape
- 8:20Speaker 4: from a building and yours.
- 8:23Speaker 1: My shoes finally enough for me got dropped off here.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I got out of the car and my bag had
- 8:29Speaker 3: fallen down around my right waist and wrapped around my legs,
- 8:33Speaker 3: and so I was kind of tripping across the road
- 8:36Speaker 3: looking like a massive car.
- 8:39Speaker 6: You know, it's funny about you and that bag, yes,
- 8:41Speaker 6: because that there's fucking nothing in it, I know, but
- 8:44Speaker 6: I like today at lunch.
- 8:47Speaker 3: It's just so drop my wallet, my phone and a
- 8:50Speaker 3: few little bits and pieces in it.
- 8:51Speaker 1: But I just feel like, if I don't take.
- 8:53Speaker 4: It, this is your pink bag.
- 8:54Speaker 3: No, and I'm terrible. If I had my bag, I
- 9:00Speaker 3: push it in my bag. If I don't have my bag,
- 9:01Speaker 3: I'll leave it on the tape, which is I did
- 9:04Speaker 3: what you did with my glasses yesterday.
- 9:06Speaker 6: It's just like I've noticed with you, like when were
- 9:07Speaker 6: at the Malayian restaurant, you sat facing sort of the
- 9:10Speaker 6: way I was sitting at one point to side on
- 9:14Speaker 6: with your chair really and your feet up against my
- 9:17Speaker 6: chair and your bag like all over my chair.
- 9:19Speaker 5: I was just standing there like I literally have no
- 9:21Speaker 5: place to sit, and.
- 9:22Speaker 6: You said no idea and then I like picked up
- 9:25Speaker 6: your bag to move and this is empty fucking I'm cool. Yeah, man,
- 9:28Speaker 6: it's so sick, man, Yeah.
- 9:31Speaker 1: There's really sick. Looking forward to meeting Gabby in the.
- 9:34Speaker 5: Vesh oh when he might have his third child and
- 9:36Speaker 5: not make it.
- 9:37Speaker 1: But yeah, that's true, he'll still make it, I reckon.
- 9:40Speaker 6: Yeah, he'll come in with a fresh newborn babe. We'll
- 9:42Speaker 6: pressing it here at the big show. Hey, looking forward
- 9:46Speaker 6: to Well, if you're listening to this, to be honest,
- 9:48Speaker 6: it's all over and done with, then we're probably just
- 9:51Speaker 6: getting on it at the part. But don't forget to
- 9:53Speaker 6: listen to Radio Hodki.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Are you a good man?
- 9:57Speaker 1: A coffee went down the wrong way?
- 9:59Speaker 6: There was Monday to Friday between four and seven in
- 10:02Speaker 6: the evenings. It is the who Ducky Beak Show? Right,
- 10:04Speaker 6: remember that? Always remember that. Yeah we'll see you later.
- 10:08Speaker 4: Yeah yeah,
