- 0:22Along with all her chickens. Good morning everybody from the
- 0:29chicken coop. Hope you guys are starting your
- 0:32day off, in a great way. Maybe here some very loud
- 0:36clucking in the background this morning because we've got some
- 0:39early morning egg layers and they like to announce it being
- 0:42very loud. So if it gets loud, I apologize.
- 0:44But they are in there laying eggs and they are excited about
- 0:47it. There you go.
- 0:49That's egg-laying. Sound letting everybody know I
- 0:53like that. They like to voice their
- 0:55successes, right? So this morning we are going to
- 0:58talk about the power of Imagination.
- 1:01Possibly. One of my most favorite topics
- 1:05to ever talk about because it is in the words of Joseph Murphy
- 1:10and you know, I quote him a lot, but he says that this is the
- 1:16workshop of God and I love that regardless of your beliefs,
- 1:20whether you believe in God, the universe with you don't have
- 1:23beliefs in. I any of that you know,
- 1:27imagination is really a unique gift that has been given.
- 1:30Into humans and it is something that to me.
- 1:35I've just dwelled in it for the majority of my life and just
- 1:39really as a child, I just always coveted my own ability to have
- 1:46such a big imagination. Now, much to the dismay of some
- 1:49of my teachers, because, you know, I didn't fall in line
- 1:52while I was not a, I was not an inline student and I often was
- 1:56in trouble for it, but it was okay because they just didn't
- 1:59understand and I was okay with it because I just really loved
- 2:03the power of my imagination. Didn't understand.
- 2:05It didn't have a clue about it and nobody could help me with
- 2:08that because my parents didn't understand what was that.
- 2:11Was all about either. Because, you know, they just
- 2:13believed what the teachers told them and everything else.
- 2:16But I will say the power of my imagination has served me.
- 2:19Well, hence me shooting a podcast from a chicken coop,
- 2:24which definitely came from the power of what I come up with and
- 2:28I love that the thought of it. Being like, just a universal
- 2:33creative Workshop, to be able to go to that place.
- 2:35So what can your imagination do for you?
- 2:37Well, there are plenty of people out there that don't believe
- 2:40their creative and I always stop my clients.
- 2:43When they say that to me and I say no, you are creative.
- 2:46You just have different ways of being created because lots of
- 2:49times, people think of this and they say, oh my goodness.
- 2:53You know, I don't, I can't imagine anything.
- 2:55I can't put anything out there and I'm like, no, you do you
- 2:58just do it in a different way. You have different subtleties.
- 3:00Some people use their imagination to torture
- 3:04themselves because they keep looping in the same thoughts and
- 3:07that's still using your imagination.
- 3:09Just not for the resourceful side of things.
- 3:11Let's talk at, you know, going to the dark side but you can use
- 3:15your imagination if you give yourself the right space.
- 3:20If you pause and you say, I'm going to use my imagination.
- 3:24I Rely I'm relying on my imagination.
- 3:26You call on you. You actually Pull It Forward.
- 3:30And you talk about that space and say, I know this is a gift.
- 3:34I'm tapping into that gift. I'm going to sit and I'm going
- 3:37to imagine what could I do with this situation?
- 3:41Or what could I do with? You know it let's say you had
- 3:44something problem. You were trying to solve and you
- 3:47could sit there and just dwell in your imagination, the
- 3:50challenge you have as a human being is that we often just pick
- 3:55it out and say that's a stupid idea.
- 3:58I'm not going to come up with that.
- 3:59That's I'm not going to do that. That's dumb.
- 4:00Or I won't even say that out loud.
- 4:03So we take ourselves out before we even have a chance.
- 4:06So, the challenge I want to present you guys with is using
- 4:10your imagination but not actually, you know, killing
- 4:15yourself ideas, before you even get a chance to see them or
- 4:18think about them from a different standpoint.
- 4:20So exercise, sit down and say, okay, I'm going to give my this,
- 4:25whatever the situation is whatever I want to be creative
- 4:27with to my imagination and I'm just going to dwell and I'm just
- 4:32going to think about it and any ideas that come up, any thoughts
- 4:35that come up. I'm going to capture them in my
- 4:37imagination notebook. Like start a separate notebook,
- 4:40just for your imaginative thoughts, when it comes to
- 4:43whatever situations you're working, on capture them all
- 4:46there. But don't say I'm not going to
- 4:49do it right away. Say this is stupid as you're
- 4:51writing it down. Nope, just capture them.
- 4:53And then at a later time when you are very neutral about it,
- 4:56all you can come back and you can sit down and you can look at
- 4:59your ideas and say Okay. Do I have any in there that a
- 5:02good? Now, I'll be honest with you,
- 5:03I've read tons of imaginative ideas and the majority of them,
- 5:07I would never do. They're just too crazy or there
- 5:11to off base or I just know, they wouldn't work in other things
- 5:15that I'm working on, you know. Like here we are creating this
- 5:17Farm now, I had this thought, oh, I wouldn't put a swimming
- 5:20pool over there and my husband's like in the path where all these
- 5:24chickens pass all day long. No, yeah, that can't happen.
- 5:27So of course but my imagination painted, a very We big picture
- 5:31of it. So, okay, maybe there's a,
- 5:33there's a hold back to it, but there's always other things that
- 5:37you can come up. So my point is, you've got to
- 5:40stop judging your thoughts before you even have a chance to
- 5:44sort them through. And you've got to sit down, and
- 5:46you've got to put them on a piece of paper, so you can see
- 5:49them. And, and put yourself in a great
- 5:51headspace, be excited to see what you come up with.
- 5:54And the more you use this tool just like going to the gym, the
- 5:57stronger, the muscles become and remember When you're doing this
- 6:01kind of stuff, the energy that you're in, dictates completely
- 6:06what you're attracting. So when you say oh, I don't know
- 6:09if I could ever make something happen, we go back to that,
- 6:12dominant mental energy, the predominant mental energy of
- 6:15where you are attracts, what's happening?
- 6:17So we have to be very careful. Not to shut ourselves down so
- 6:20quickly. So today's challenge, sit down
- 6:23and some imaginative time. Put yourself into a headspace of
- 6:27just accepting all cool ideas on whatever subject you're Doing
- 6:30well, if you want to write a book, if you're going to paint
- 6:33if you're turning, you know, a creating a new business,
- 6:36whatever it might be for me. I spent a lot of time in
- 6:38imagination about what I wanted the life of my chickens to look
- 6:41like and boy, did I get that? And then some and my chickens
- 6:46are thriving because of it. So when you know, obviously you
- 6:51can see that you can follow us on Instagram, you can and
- 6:53Facebook and you can see all those things.
- 6:55And I think that the most important aspect of today is to
- 7:00not take your Self out before it's too early.
- 7:02So have fun with it and I will see you guys tomorrow.
