Hardly a day goes by when we don't face something unexpected. But somehow the normalcy of interruptions doesn't weaken their power to ruin a perfectly-chilled vibe. Unanticipated and unwelcome events spike our alert-o-meters, rev up our hearts, and sometimes send us to bed with throbbing temples.
