- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with on our radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's the Almost Famous Podcast. Today is a very special day,
- 0:09Speaker 2: A huge day for almost fans podcast, a huge day
- 0:12Speaker 2: for Bachelor Nation. We have the one and only the
- 0:15Speaker 2: lead of the twentieth season of The Bachelorette doing a
- 0:19Speaker 2: media tour right now, tired and exhausted and has no
- 0:22Speaker 2: clue is she's at in the world.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Charity Lawson, Yes, Hello, Hello, thank you guys for having me.
- 0:30Speaker 4: So you're at love with Kelly and Mark.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Kelly and Mark, Yes, currently Gma and Gma just came
- 0:37Speaker 3: from that as well. Been doing it all.
- 0:40Speaker 4: What have you had quite the fourth of July week?
- 0:43Speaker 3: Literally it has not stopped, but we're approaching the ending.
- 0:49Speaker 2: So I mean, I do remember this time during the circuit, Yeah,
- 0:53Speaker 2: kind of not really well at all. Like I I
- 0:57Speaker 2: was watching you this morning on television and my wife said,
- 1:00Speaker 2: do you remember going on those and there's moments and
- 1:03Speaker 2: bits and pieces.
- 1:03Speaker 3: I yeah.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I always tried to soak it in because you don't
- 1:07Speaker 2: know when it's gonna you know, stop and you don't
- 1:09Speaker 2: get invited back again. But it's exhausting and you're asked
- 1:13Speaker 2: the same questions very often and over.
- 1:16Speaker 4: We're gonna try to be a little different.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Okay, but yeah, it's like a lot of repetition. But
- 1:24Speaker 3: that's that's the exhausting part. But then always obviously so
- 1:27Speaker 3: many different press and stuff, so just trying to be present,
- 1:31Speaker 3: but also I'm like, yeah, I just need to slow
- 1:33Speaker 3: down for a second.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Okay, A couple of questions for you off the bat here,
- 1:37Speaker 2: since you in the media circuit, who has been your
- 1:39Speaker 2: favorite person you've met that you had at one point
- 1:42Speaker 2: watched on television but now you're sitting with them in
- 1:45Speaker 2: some type of studio.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Jennifer Hudson hands down. I was on that beforehand, so yeah,
- 1:52Speaker 3: I listened to her music growing up, loved her. She
- 1:54Speaker 3: was like my first Broadway show. So I was like, okay,
- 1:57Speaker 3: this is a moment. She seems so nice and she
- 2:00Speaker 3: is so so nice.
- 2:02Speaker 2: And uh, do you still get nerves? Like are you
- 2:05Speaker 2: were you nervous this morning when you woke up knowing
- 2:08Speaker 2: what your day was going to look like? I mean,
- 2:09Speaker 2: I know, coming on the almost famous podcast probably made
- 2:12Speaker 2: you in the little nervous and makes everybody. Yeah, but
- 2:15Speaker 2: outside of us, where their nerves leading up to today?
- 2:19Speaker 3: No? I mean, I think because I've done it so
- 2:21Speaker 3: much at this point, and like you said, it's like
- 2:23Speaker 3: I've been asked, you know, very similar questions. But also
- 2:26Speaker 3: it's like a lived experience at this point. I think beforehand,
- 2:28Speaker 3: it's like anticipating and don't really know what's going to
- 2:30Speaker 3: happen before filming. But now that it's all said and done,
- 2:34Speaker 3: I can answer these questions. I can talk about it
- 2:36Speaker 3: as much as I can. But yeah, no, no nerves
- 2:39Speaker 3: at all. I'm just like, let's do it.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I always felt super nervous, really, yeah, I was. I
- 2:47Speaker 2: always got the nervous stomach. I always, you know, had
- 2:50Speaker 2: to go to the bathroom like two seconds before I
- 2:54Speaker 2: was walking out. And I was mostly nervous. Not as
- 2:59Speaker 2: much about being on television, because you do kind of
- 3:01Speaker 2: get used to that. Yeah, but it was about giving
- 3:04Speaker 2: away something on the season that would make hundreds of
- 3:09Speaker 2: people upset. Do you had that fear at all?
- 3:12Speaker 3: I will say yeah. I kind of am more mindful
- 3:17Speaker 3: of like my answers, which I kind of hate because
- 3:19Speaker 3: it's like I feel like it limits me and my
- 3:21Speaker 3: personality a little bit of how I talk about stuff.
- 3:25Speaker 3: That is a very I will say, yeah, that part
- 3:27Speaker 3: does give me nerves, but like in the grand scheme
- 3:30Speaker 3: of just like obviously talking about the season, like I
- 3:32Speaker 3: get excited, I really do.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Yeah. So okay with that question being asked, Yeah, you
- 3:38Speaker 2: don't thin give us way anything. That's not what we're here.
- 3:40Speaker 2: And none of our listeners want to be spoiled at.
- 3:42Speaker 4: All, trust me, we shouldn't do this smile to us.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Well we might at the end. Okay, but is there
- 3:50Speaker 2: could you at least tell us is there things on
- 3:53Speaker 2: your season that you are when somebody does ask you
- 3:56Speaker 2: a question? Yeah, you are not speaking about because they're
- 4:00Speaker 2: going to be twists and turns and surprises that you
- 4:04Speaker 2: are keep being secret to you. Or is this just
- 4:08Speaker 2: hiding the end of the season where you don't want
- 4:10Speaker 2: to give away how this ends.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I don't. Well, obviously I know I can't give away
- 4:16Speaker 3: how the season ends, but I will say it's definitely
- 4:19Speaker 3: with the twist and turns, there's a lot that kind
- 4:21Speaker 3: of picks up towards the middle end that I feel
- 4:25Speaker 3: like a lot of people aren't going to be expecting.
- 4:28Speaker 3: And so that is definitely for myself because I'm like,
- 4:31Speaker 3: I know how this plays out. You guys don't. So
- 4:34Speaker 3: you guys need to sit tight in and watch this thing.
- 4:37Speaker 2: On bold yeap that makes more exciting.
- 4:41Speaker 5: So we've been seeing you know, seasons, seasons of the
- 4:45Speaker 5: season long preview that is super traumatic. And there's like
- 4:48Speaker 5: that one moment that we're supposedly waiting for.
- 4:51Speaker 4: You know, it's.
- 4:52Speaker 5: Notoriously Colton's fence jump. Yeah, do you have a moment
- 4:57Speaker 5: like that? Because we don't really see anything in the teaser.
- 5:00Speaker 3: I feel like, okay, so in the teaser there is
- 5:02Speaker 3: a sole single shoe. It's a Cinderella moment that is
- 5:06Speaker 3: like that, I would say compared to Colton's fence jump.
- 5:10Speaker 3: That is my fence jomp that has been truly in
- 5:13Speaker 3: the fan. And I'm like, all right, yeah, so that's
- 5:19Speaker 3: later down the road, but it's there. It's definitely there.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Well you also, I mean, a big storyline even today
- 5:24Speaker 2: on television has been that you fell in love with
- 5:26Speaker 2: two people. Yeah, I mean I saw you answer it on
- 5:29Speaker 2: Good Morning America and say you didn't expect it, you
- 5:32Speaker 2: didn't know it was possible. Walk us through how that
- 5:36Speaker 2: happened for you. From my seat, there's no judgment, and
- 5:41Speaker 2: so I want to know how you get to a
- 5:44Speaker 2: place where that happens, and then maybe if you don't
- 5:49Speaker 2: mind once you realize you're in love with multiple people.
- 5:54Speaker 2: What was like, what was your reaction to that about yourself?
- 5:57Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, how did I get there? I think
- 6:02Speaker 3: coming into it, obviously, like I said, it's like I
- 6:04Speaker 3: didn't fully expect it because the idea of it, and
- 6:07Speaker 3: like hearing this outside of like the Bachelor world, it
- 6:10Speaker 3: sounds crazy to be like, oh, like you're falling in
- 6:12Speaker 3: love with two people or you're in love with two people.
- 6:14Speaker 3: It doesn't make sense. And so I was like, that
- 6:16Speaker 3: can't happen. But obviously now that I'm in the position
- 6:19Speaker 3: for it to happen, I think for me, it's like
- 6:21Speaker 3: I wanted to show up in every single relationship and
- 6:24Speaker 3: give one hundred percent of myself to every single relationship
- 6:27Speaker 3: because as we know it, anything can change in a
- 6:30Speaker 3: matter of hours days, Like one day you're on a
- 6:32Speaker 3: date and then you go on a date the next day,
- 6:34Speaker 3: and it's like people like it's always moving. So I
- 6:37Speaker 3: think with that and then me like showing up and
- 6:41Speaker 3: giving myself one hundred percent and every time definitely played
- 6:44Speaker 3: the full role into how I got to the point
- 6:47Speaker 3: of like being in love with two people, and so
- 6:50Speaker 3: how did that make sense of that? How did I
- 6:52Speaker 3: narrow it down to just the person? The whole time
- 6:55Speaker 3: I was filming, I journaled, so I had a lot
- 6:58Speaker 3: of thoughts obviously, but like trans those thoughts onto paper
- 7:01Speaker 3: for me was so beneficial because you're moving, I'm exhausted,
- 7:06Speaker 3: but like to be able to go back and reflect,
- 7:07Speaker 3: like what happened on this day, Like what was I
- 7:09Speaker 3: feeling in this moment? Like that was? That was so
- 7:12Speaker 3: helpful for me. And so being able to kind of
- 7:15Speaker 3: take myself back to those moments, place myself of place
- 7:18Speaker 3: myself in what I felt, Okay, what happened and how
- 7:20Speaker 3: did I feel? All those things kind of helped me
- 7:23Speaker 3: just like narrow it down. But then also it's just
- 7:25Speaker 3: like I had a gut feeling like this is potentially
- 7:28Speaker 3: like this could be my person If that makes sense?
- 7:32Speaker 2: It does? It does? I don't. I don't know if
- 7:34Speaker 2: you watched season twenty of The Bachelor actually.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Years ago, you fan, Oh.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I watched. I didn't see your season, but I
- 7:44Speaker 3: watched like seasons here and there.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Well, if you go back and you want to feel
- 7:49Speaker 2: better about yourself, you could watch when I said it
- 7:52Speaker 2: to two people, and I remember I journaled too, and
- 7:53Speaker 2: I remember it almost There was freedom when I allowed
- 7:57Speaker 2: myself to be like, no, I am, and I don't
- 7:58Speaker 2: know if it's I don't know if it's right or wrong.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I don't know how, you know, necessarily like how somebody
- 8:02Speaker 2: can feel this way, but I am, and now what
- 8:04Speaker 2: do I do with this? There was freedom in that
- 8:07Speaker 2: because for a while I was rejecting it. And so
- 8:09Speaker 2: I'm I'm excited to watch that process for you. Yeah,
- 8:13Speaker 2: fall along on that storyline.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 8:26Speaker 5: Well, Charlie, I have some fun questions for you regarding
- 8:30Speaker 5: what we've already seen on the season.
- 8:33Speaker 2: All right, let's see.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Brayden's ear rings turn on or turn off?
- 8:40Speaker 1: God?
- 8:42Speaker 3: I will say, at first they were like cute. I
- 8:45Speaker 3: was like, okay, like he's.
- 8:46Speaker 4: The diamond stud's cute right temple.
- 8:49Speaker 3: But then like I feel like as every time I
- 8:51Speaker 3: saw him, like there was like something extra ad it
- 8:54Speaker 3: and I was like, what is happening? So I want
- 8:56Speaker 3: to say a little bit of a turn off as
- 8:58Speaker 3: they became more just.
- 9:01Speaker 5: Elaborate, started off conservative with the diamond studs.
- 9:08Speaker 2: We've you said when we started watching you said, Hey,
- 9:11Speaker 2: the diamond studs are pretty nice, and then yeah, they
- 9:14Speaker 2: got longer and like more stuff.
- 9:16Speaker 4: Feather is coming down his are like what?
- 9:19Speaker 3: I was like, what happy?
- 9:23Speaker 5: Did even Jesse say something along the lines of like, Breiden,
- 9:26Speaker 5: your outfit screams that you feel safe. I was like, yes, yes, okay, Well,
- 9:36Speaker 5: watching back, do you think that you'd still have given
- 9:40Speaker 5: brand in the first impression?
- 9:42Speaker 4: Rose?
- 9:42Speaker 5: I have been kind of defending him. Look, I know,
- 9:46Speaker 5: don't respond to the spot. You can respond with your
- 9:49Speaker 5: facial expressions, but I know the guy gives out red flags.
- 9:54Speaker 5: But I've been defending your choices a lot because I
- 9:57Speaker 5: understand that, like at first impression, he definitely comes across
- 10:02Speaker 5: as like the sexiest one with the most sweat.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Yes, and you are not wrong because it's exactly what
- 10:08Speaker 3: I felt. I was like, oh, and we know how
- 10:10Speaker 3: chaotic night one is. It's like you're having so many conversations,
- 10:13Speaker 3: so I was like, okay. I talked to Braydon like
- 10:16Speaker 3: some towards the middle and sitting down with him, I
- 10:20Speaker 3: was like, oh, like it was just like so natural,
- 10:22Speaker 3: it was organic, Like I didn't feel like I had
- 10:23Speaker 3: to like sit, you know, think through necessarily conversation of like, oh,
- 10:26Speaker 3: these are the key points, like it just came, it flowed,
- 10:29Speaker 3: and then obviously we just like had good energy around
- 10:30Speaker 3: each other. He is so charismatic for sure, very attractive.
- 10:34Speaker 3: So I mean it's like a win win.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Here there we go. Okay.
- 10:38Speaker 5: So I even say, watching you back on the first
- 10:41Speaker 5: two episodes, I could see myself giving him the first impression, Rose,
- 10:45Speaker 5: So do you still watching back and be like, yeah,
- 10:48Speaker 5: I get why I gave him the first impression.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Oh, I definitely do. I understand why I gave him
- 10:52Speaker 3: and that's not changing, okaye. Progress Episode two came out
- 10:56Speaker 3: a little bit of shock for me, but yeah, definitely
- 10:59Speaker 3: Night one that stand by that.
- 11:01Speaker 5: All right, cool, all right, thank you, thank you.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Okay.
- 11:08Speaker 5: So, if you had to, I know they've watched a
- 11:11Speaker 5: few seasons here or there, rank your guys amongst the
- 11:15Speaker 5: other seasons of the Bachelor, like on like a median line,
- 11:18Speaker 5: where do you think they would fall? And you could
- 11:20Speaker 5: just be totally honest, like first impressions coming out of
- 11:23Speaker 5: the limo, were you like.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Or are you like? WHOA?
- 11:28Speaker 3: Okay? I think I started off as that and but
- 11:32Speaker 3: then it picked up so I was like, oh, like
- 11:34Speaker 3: and I obviously once I got to talk to them,
- 11:36Speaker 3: I was like, no, these are actually like stellar guys,
- 11:38Speaker 3: like I have a great like cast of men and
- 11:43Speaker 3: in the in comparison to like, I guess other seasons
- 11:45Speaker 3: that I've seen, I will say, like they're up there,
- 11:48Speaker 3: they're like probably Like I mean, I'm a little biased obviously, time,
- 11:52Speaker 3: like I feel like they're they're one of the best.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Yeah, that's that's good. Well, we are happy to hear
- 11:57Speaker 4: you feel that way.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Is that is because of you know, at first you're
- 12:02Speaker 2: a little like math, this is gonna be great, but
- 12:05Speaker 2: you know not, Is it because their personalities over time
- 12:08Speaker 2: just shine and you found that you had a lot
- 12:10Speaker 2: of really good supportive people on your season or was
- 12:14Speaker 2: this that they actually became maybe the yeah, better looking
- 12:19Speaker 2: because yeah.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Yeah, it's definitely personalities. And then like I'm looking at
- 12:24Speaker 3: the whole picture here. It's like there they have great creators,
- 12:26Speaker 3: great jobs, a lot of the most part are like
- 12:28Speaker 3: very mature, and it felt like, okay, like they genuinely
- 12:31Speaker 3: are like trying to you know, settle down or get
- 12:34Speaker 3: to a point where they're pursuing a long term relationship
- 12:37Speaker 3: and not just here for whatever so for me, that
- 12:40Speaker 3: was like, Okay, this stands out, and I think as
- 12:42Speaker 3: you can as a season PROGRESSI you'll see like the
- 12:44Speaker 3: interactions with not just like them with me, but like
- 12:46Speaker 3: also with the guys. Like that's a big tailtale sign.
- 12:48Speaker 5: Tom all right, So, speaking of like the hotty user
- 12:51Speaker 5: from her season, we definitely ranked Joey amongst the top
- 12:54Speaker 5: of those. However, we don't think that a three minute
- 12:59Speaker 5: kiss in public could possibly actually be sexy.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Please tell us how it really felt.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Okay, honestly, it wasn't bad, Like it wasn't at all
- 13:11Speaker 3: like it was a great kiss. It was long, but
- 13:13Speaker 3: I will say like the minute or the record that
- 13:15Speaker 3: we broke was three minutes and twenty two seconds, So you, Joey,
- 13:18Speaker 3: I think passed up until like four minutes and twenty
- 13:21Speaker 3: six or twelve.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Oh you guys had to take it that far.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Well, that's the thing. It's like we didn't realize. I
- 13:26Speaker 3: was like waiting for them to be like you I did,
- 13:29Speaker 3: but like we did, we were so like just locked in.
- 13:32Speaker 3: We didn't didn't hear anything else. So so then we
- 13:35Speaker 3: were like we saw everyone else like just kind of
- 13:37Speaker 3: get crazy, and we're like, oh, we need to stop.
- 13:39Speaker 3: But it was just a moment, like it was just
- 13:41Speaker 3: us too, Like I literally no crowd, no nothing.
- 13:44Speaker 5: Just oh yeah, so good to know in our future predictions. Now,
- 13:50Speaker 5: we did see the scene from the you know, the
- 13:53Speaker 5: preview that he used. There was a big lick in there.
- 13:57Speaker 5: There's like a big tongue moment, and and we were
- 14:01Speaker 5: really concerned about Joey going forward.
- 14:04Speaker 2: From that no other reason other than the fact that
- 14:07Speaker 2: I saw his tongue start at your bottom lip.
- 14:09Speaker 3: And I saw that too, and I was like, I
- 14:12Speaker 3: don't even remember that happening. But we had to get creative,
- 14:14Speaker 3: I mean truly, but that was not the still showing
- 14:17Speaker 3: that I wanted America to see, but I think it was.
- 14:21Speaker 3: It was pretty quick, so I don't really like a
- 14:23Speaker 3: whole drastic tongue moment.
- 14:26Speaker 5: But yeah, so I was in the midst of that,
- 14:29Speaker 5: and it really wasn't the It wasn't the majority of
- 14:31Speaker 5: the time. It didn't distract from the kiss. It was Okay,
- 14:33Speaker 5: he's not a big rosy and if you just.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Started making out with somebody, and that's what they did,
- 14:39Speaker 2: like the whole time, they just.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Like not breaking the record, like it just would have
- 14:43Speaker 3: not sorry, there's there's a sex in the City episode
- 14:46Speaker 3: about that.
- 14:47Speaker 4: I feel like every girl in her life has had
- 14:48Speaker 4: that experience.
- 14:51Speaker 2: That's weird.
- 14:54Speaker 5: So right now I'm feeling like Adrian is currently the tattletale.
- 14:59Speaker 4: He is like the mister.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Right Reasons Police. He and like he never cracked a smile.
- 15:07Speaker 5: He's dead serious about everything, and somebody called him out?
- 15:12Speaker 4: Was it who called him out? Last week?
- 15:15Speaker 2: We liked.
- 15:19Speaker 3: He was like, you need to spend your time like
- 15:21Speaker 3: getting a no charity, not like focusing or like talking
- 15:23Speaker 3: about other guys. Correct.
- 15:26Speaker 5: So it's not the fact that he's like the Right
- 15:29Speaker 5: Reasons Police that turns me off. It's like the fact
- 15:32Speaker 5: that he's so dead serious about it.
- 15:35Speaker 4: So how did you feel about Adrian?
- 15:36Speaker 3: Well, yeah, so when I had conversations with Adrian, it's
- 15:40Speaker 3: like that wasn't the whole like face of our conversation.
- 15:45Speaker 3: It came up and like you said, it was like
- 15:47Speaker 3: very serious too. But I came in I was like,
- 15:50Speaker 3: I don't really want to know everything that's going on
- 15:53Speaker 3: in the house because I think it serves sometimes as
- 15:55Speaker 3: a distraction and from me. I can sometimes get super
- 15:58Speaker 3: fixated on things. So when he like brought those things
- 16:02Speaker 3: to my attention. It's like, Okay, I'm grateful, but in
- 16:07Speaker 3: a way, it's like, why why are you not like
- 16:09Speaker 3: just wanting to like focus on yourself and like focus
- 16:12Speaker 3: on us and like spend because time is precious, Like
- 16:14Speaker 3: we don't have all the time in the world, So
- 16:16Speaker 3: why are we talking about somebody else? But obviously, with
- 16:19Speaker 3: watching the episode back, it's like, Okay, well, yeah, it
- 16:22Speaker 3: clearly was a big deal. But also I think it's
- 16:24Speaker 3: just like he was straight after like Brandon, So I
- 16:27Speaker 3: don't know. Yeah, it's it's definitely interesting.
- 16:40Speaker 4: But I know you have a couple of questions about
- 16:42Speaker 4: our fans.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Okay, we saw in this episode. I have two big
- 16:46Speaker 2: questions about your family. Now, Okay, how in the world
- 16:50Speaker 2: has your parents been married for forty six years?
- 16:53Speaker 3: Okay forty eight Okay, yes, forty eight years. And that's
- 16:59Speaker 3: the thing I know they everyone has. It's a burning question.
- 17:04Speaker 3: My parents look so young, great jeans, but my mom
- 17:08Speaker 3: is sixty four, my dad's sixty six.
- 17:11Speaker 5: It was, yeah, the math that would really make sense
- 17:13Speaker 5: unless they were very young.
- 17:15Speaker 3: So I will say my mom was eighteen or seventeen,
- 17:18Speaker 3: and then my my mom was seventeen my dad was
- 17:23Speaker 3: or nineteen Yeah, that's the right math there, three years
- 17:26Speaker 3: afore something like that. Yeah, so got married young. My
- 17:29Speaker 3: dad went to the military after.
- 17:31Speaker 6: So okay, okay, it's it's incredible, Like my mom got
- 17:35Speaker 6: married when she was twenty, which was young, and I
- 17:39Speaker 6: look back on that now, yeah, and that was fourteen
- 17:43Speaker 6: years ago for me, Like, that's that's incredible to me
- 17:47Speaker 6: that you got married, Like I would have gotten married.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Four I would have been married for fourteen years at
- 17:51Speaker 2: this point, exactly.
- 17:53Speaker 5: Wild wild, Hey, Charity. So they didn't have kids though
- 17:57Speaker 5: for quite some time.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Well, so that's the thing. A lot of people don't
- 18:02Speaker 3: know the age gap too. So I have two other siblings.
- 18:06Speaker 3: I have another brother and another sister. So there's a
- 18:09Speaker 3: six year gap between me and my sister.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Oh darn yes.
- 18:12Speaker 3: So my parents had my sister she's the oldest, and
- 18:15Speaker 3: then my brother.
- 18:16Speaker 4: And they're like they started it all over again, Yes.
- 18:19Speaker 3: And they waited twelve years to start completely over, had
- 18:23Speaker 3: Ne and Maya and then had me. So no one
- 18:26Speaker 3: gets the dynamic because it doesn't make sense. You look
- 18:28Speaker 3: at all of us and we're like, oh, like everyone's
- 18:30Speaker 3: close in age. Your parents look so young but I'm
- 18:32Speaker 3: like forty eight years and then me and my sister
- 18:34Speaker 3: are sixteen years a party, it doesn't make sense.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Yeah, they're like, let's have one more kid. And this
- 18:41Speaker 2: kid goes on national television and dage a bunch of
- 18:44Speaker 2: Peo people.
- 18:45Speaker 3: All the men in the world.
- 18:50Speaker 2: They had to get a little surprised they did there.
- 18:54Speaker 2: So all right, So speaking to me, Amyah, do you
- 18:57Speaker 2: wish you would have step around longer? Like, would you
- 18:59Speaker 2: been cool if you would have said, Hey, I'm actually
- 19:01Speaker 2: going to be here for the next five weeks.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Kind of hide Now, five weeks is too long. I
- 19:08Speaker 3: wouldn't mind if he stayed for like maybe like two
- 19:10Speaker 3: more weeks. Considering how everything plays out, I think it
- 19:13Speaker 3: would have been hilarious had he stayed for like any
- 19:16Speaker 3: a week or two and definitely been able to give
- 19:19Speaker 3: me a little bit more insight. But I think, yeah,
- 19:22Speaker 3: what what he gave me night one was was plenty.
- 19:24Speaker 2: You're coming for his sanity in a lot of ways too. Yeah,
- 19:28Speaker 2: I would imagine that he needed to get out of
- 19:31Speaker 2: there because he could only hear about his sister making
- 19:33Speaker 2: out with people so many times before he like blew
- 19:37Speaker 2: AGAs exactly.
- 19:39Speaker 3: The whole episode, Like we were just cracking up at
- 19:41Speaker 3: his facial expressions because I obviously know my brother so well,
- 19:45Speaker 3: but like people in his life too, It's like he
- 19:47Speaker 3: has this like cringe smell that he does, and so
- 19:49Speaker 3: every time like a guy was coming back was like
- 19:51Speaker 3: I just said, how to talk with Trinity went so good?
- 19:53Speaker 3: Or like Brandon obviously talking about the kids, like he
- 19:55Speaker 3: just had this awkward smell, like just like he was
- 19:58Speaker 3: so uncomfortable.
- 19:59Speaker 5: You're steep comment was so reright on, and I was like,
- 20:02Speaker 5: I like these people.
- 20:05Speaker 3: It was accurate.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Well, I have two more big questions for you. One,
- 20:09Speaker 2: I always like find this out because everybody's answering a
- 20:11Speaker 2: little different. Yeah, looking back now through your process and
- 20:16Speaker 2: you're still in it, your season is just hearing. What
- 20:19Speaker 2: was your least favorite part about being a Bachelor, Like
- 20:21Speaker 2: when you were filming the show and you'd have with
- 20:24Speaker 2: some times that were quiet, which are very few and
- 20:27Speaker 2: far between, what did you like be like I hate this,
- 20:31Speaker 2: Like I don't like doing this.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I would say, uh, Rose ceremonies easily, like sending people home.
- 20:37Speaker 3: That was really hard for me. It was hard for
- 20:39Speaker 3: me all night one and I was like I just
- 20:41Speaker 3: met these people what's going on? But obviously it picks
- 20:44Speaker 3: up as the season progresses. But I'm a person I
- 20:47Speaker 3: just like no matter if that's like my person for life,
- 20:50Speaker 3: a friend, like when I connect with the person, like
- 20:52Speaker 3: to have to say goodbye and then also know like
- 20:55Speaker 3: for them like they have like this vision like oh,
- 20:58Speaker 3: I could potentially be there life partner too, so then
- 21:01Speaker 3: it's very hard for them to come to terms with that.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Like that was really hard. And then just obviously knowing
- 21:07Speaker 3: like I'm probably not gonna be able to see them
- 21:09Speaker 3: again or whenever I do it be at Mentel all.
- 21:12Speaker 3: But yeah, it was hard. It was awful. I cried everybody.
- 21:17Speaker 5: Besides love, what was your favorite part? Like did you
- 21:21Speaker 5: like the glam and the dresses and all that or.
- 21:25Speaker 2: That's what Ashley is So Ashley asked that question, says
- 21:27Speaker 2: the glam and the dresses because that's what she loves.
- 21:30Speaker 6: Like I'm hoping you said the same thing you Cater too.
- 21:34Speaker 3: You're not wrong. The glam like just being able to
- 21:38Speaker 3: pick out the outfits and like working with Carrie was
- 21:41Speaker 3: my favorite thing because you'll see a lot of like
- 21:43Speaker 3: my style incorporated into this season, which obviously any bachelor
- 21:48Speaker 3: at stream is like, okay, like I want my style
- 21:50Speaker 3: to like transpire, and we did exactly that. So even
- 21:54Speaker 3: if I had like a bad night, I got to
- 21:56Speaker 3: wake up and no, I get to put on this
- 21:57Speaker 3: like awesome fit and look great.
- 22:00Speaker 5: Definitely, that definitely amps you up to get ready for
- 22:04Speaker 5: another j another road ceremony.
- 22:07Speaker 4: You're like, well, at least I get to a little Okay.
- 22:12Speaker 5: Burning question for me is if you were to pick
- 22:16Speaker 5: a top four based on what you felt after week two.
- 22:22Speaker 4: Which is what we've seen so far, Okay, what would
- 22:24Speaker 4: you who would you have picked?
- 22:27Speaker 3: Okay, after week two top four? I will say.
- 22:37Speaker 4: It's okay if you have to say Braiden.
- 22:41Speaker 3: You know what, you.
- 22:43Speaker 5: Don't need a spoiler to know this girl did not
- 22:46Speaker 5: pick Braiden.
- 22:48Speaker 3: But I'm like, let's let's actually go back to what
- 22:50Speaker 3: I was truly probably feeling in that moment. I will say, oh, Braiden,
- 22:57Speaker 3: because I did not know everything that was going on.
- 22:59Speaker 3: It was just what all so writ in Warwick, Joey
- 23:08Speaker 3: and Aaron Bean.
- 23:13Speaker 2: That helps. It helps give us perspective here on kind
- 23:15Speaker 2: of where your head was at. That's good because it
- 23:17Speaker 2: changes a lot, I'm sure it does for you too. Everywhere, Yeah,
- 23:21Speaker 2: every direction it works.
- 23:23Speaker 4: The shock or not bunched us. We have not talked
- 23:26Speaker 4: about him.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Right, he hasn't. Yeah, you haven't seen I don't think
- 23:30Speaker 3: necessarily a lot, But in that moment, for sure, I was.
- 23:36Speaker 2: It's always helpful, and you know you made a comment there,
- 23:39Speaker 2: and I always like to clarify. People ask you all
- 23:43Speaker 2: the time. They will now for the rest of your life. Fortunately,
- 23:47Speaker 2: how scripted is it?
- 23:48Speaker 3: Right?
- 23:48Speaker 2: They always say, how scripted is this show? When I say,
- 23:50Speaker 2: I never felt scripted. There was never a line that
- 23:53Speaker 2: I had to give or a thing I had to say.
- 23:56Speaker 2: I said the way And they said, then, how do
- 23:58Speaker 2: you always keep the people that are driving us crazy?
- 24:01Speaker 2: And I would say, well, because you don't always know,
- 24:04Speaker 2: like you see it on television, but the lead doesn't
- 24:06Speaker 2: see it. And if the lead doesn't see it, they're
- 24:08Speaker 2: not getting told like they don't you're watching it thinking
- 24:11Speaker 2: they have the same perspective exactly. You don't have it.
- 24:14Speaker 3: None. We get like twenty percent of that maybe if that,
- 24:17Speaker 3: and then that's all obviously all revealed to us when
- 24:21Speaker 3: we watch it back. So that's why I said, I
- 24:22Speaker 3: was definitely shocked with like the Braden stuff in episode two,
- 24:26Speaker 3: like how vocal he was that was alarming. But yeah,
- 24:30Speaker 3: in the moment, it's like, no, nothing is scripted. It's
- 24:32Speaker 3: like what I'm feeling is what I'm feeling, and I'm
- 24:34Speaker 3: going based off of our interactions, our conversations alone, like
- 24:38Speaker 3: nothing else.
- 24:39Speaker 2: So and I think that's important for people to know.
- 24:43Speaker 2: And it's also really fun for viewers to note that,
- 24:47Speaker 2: yes you as the lead, Yes you're the twentieth Bachelorette.
- 24:51Speaker 2: You were watching it along with everybody else, and you're
- 24:55Speaker 2: learning things as this Arizon Television and that's really fun. Charity,
- 24:59Speaker 2: we only have a few minutes here with you left.
- 25:01Speaker 2: If you're gonna tease the rest of your season for us,
- 25:04Speaker 2: like if if people are listening and they are watching,
- 25:09Speaker 2: or maybe they haven't watched yet, Yeah, but you're going
- 25:11Speaker 2: to tease them and tell them this is why you
- 25:13Speaker 2: should watch the rest of this season. This is what
- 25:15Speaker 2: you're going to expect mm hm or is yours? Say
- 25:19Speaker 2: as much or as little as you want?
- 25:21Speaker 3: Yeah. I always say I like to like give the
- 25:24Speaker 3: three words that sum up my season or what we
- 25:27Speaker 3: could look forward to. So I think the words I've
- 25:30Speaker 3: been using is romance. There's about to be tons of
- 25:34Speaker 3: that kissing date that don't count, but there's so much
- 25:37Speaker 3: more room thrilling. I will say a lot of the
- 25:43Speaker 3: dates that I go on are exciting. I have a
- 25:46Speaker 3: bungee jumping date. When we start to travel a little
- 25:50Speaker 3: bit more, we definitely do a lot more things that
- 25:52Speaker 3: are super fun. And then I mean, it's chaos. What's
- 25:57Speaker 3: the season without it. We see some stuff kind of
- 26:01Speaker 3: pop off in a couple of weeks, but that's all right,
- 26:04Speaker 3: Charity gets down to business.
- 26:06Speaker 4: We like that. Though it's fun for us to watch.
- 26:08Speaker 3: I know it's like, you see like this sweet side
- 26:10Speaker 3: of me, but I have to bring out the sass.
- 26:12Speaker 3: But yeah, no, it's it's definitely full of a lot
- 26:16Speaker 3: of I think twists and turns. I think people might
- 26:18Speaker 3: have like an idea of how this season might play out,
- 26:21Speaker 3: but I will say, like everybody will be thoroughly surprised.
- 26:24Speaker 4: They'reoughly surprised.
- 26:26Speaker 5: You got me hooked with that one, because I just
- 26:28Speaker 5: feel like it's gonna end in a happily ever after.
- 26:30Speaker 4: So I hope it's not a surprise in that sense.
- 26:33Speaker 2: You still hope it's ever after?
- 26:36Speaker 4: Alrighty that is a good cliphanger. Girl.
- 26:39Speaker 5: It has been great talking to you. Hope you come
- 26:42Speaker 5: on again before the end of the season. It is
- 26:45Speaker 5: so beautiful. There's like, uh, you're undeniably likable. There's just
- 26:48Speaker 5: like you're so easy to watch and root for.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Thank you, Thank you.
