Mega Edition: Prince Andrew And His Uncomfortable Transition to Civilian Life (9/12/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

0:00
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
0:04
Speaker 1: So with the Queen's death, there was a lot of
0:07
Speaker 1: questions about Prince Andrew and what his role would be
0:11
Speaker 1: at the upcoming celebration of life for the Queen. Well,
0:15
Speaker 1: we now know that Prince Andrew will not be wearing
0:19
Speaker 1: his military uniform to most of these ceremonial events. And
0:25
Speaker 1: that's because only the working royals will be wearing their
0:28
Speaker 1: military uniforms. And as we all know, Prince Andrew's days
0:33
Speaker 1: of being a working royal are long over. Now his
0:36
Speaker 1: days will be filled with being the Lord of the Corgis.
0:42
Speaker 1: His one role, as we know right now, is to
0:45
Speaker 1: take care of the Queen's dogs. Now, while he might
0:48
Speaker 1: be capable of doing that job, I don't know why
0:50
Speaker 1: the dogs are getting the short end of the stick here.
0:53
Speaker 1: I've said before he should take care of the stables.
0:56
Speaker 1: You know, muck out all of the stables, clean up
0:58
Speaker 1: the horse poop, and all of that stuff. He likes
1:00
Speaker 1: all them horses so much, he should just stay out there.
1:03
Speaker 1: The king of bullshit dealing with some horse shit shouldn't
1:06
Speaker 1: be too much of a jump. But instead, the poor
1:10
Speaker 1: corgis get stuck living with Prince Andrew and with Fergie
1:14
Speaker 1: the foot woman, and here we are. But as far
1:17
Speaker 1: as other roles within his brother's regime, that's not going
1:21
Speaker 1: to happen. And this is just the first of many
1:24
Speaker 1: slights coming Andrew's way now that his brother is the king.
1:29
Speaker 1: We've talked about this at length here on this podcast,
1:32
Speaker 1: and it's not going to be any different from what
1:35
Speaker 1: we speculated. At least it looks that way. Charles understands
1:40
Speaker 1: that he's not the most well-liked guy in the world.
1:43
Speaker 1: So coming in, having Andrew as an anchor is just
1:46
Speaker 1: not something he's interested in. And he's shown us that
1:50
Speaker 1: time and time again. Now, That doesn't mean I think
1:53
Speaker 1: Charles is a good guy either.
1:54
Speaker 2: I do not.
1:55
Speaker 1: Anyone who's palling around with guys like Jimmy Savile, anyone
1:59
Speaker 1: who's getting advice from guys like Jimmy Savile is not
2:02
Speaker 1: a good person in my book. But he is the
2:05
Speaker 1: king and he's going to make the decisions as far
2:08
Speaker 1: as Uncle Touchy goes. So today we have an article
2:13
Speaker 1: from The Independent talking about who's wearing what, who's going
2:17
Speaker 1: to be wearing military uniforms, and who is going to
2:20
Speaker 1: be In civilian clothing. Headline, Prince Andrew will not wear
2:27
Speaker 1: uniform at most ceremonial events during period of mourning for
2:31
Speaker 1: the queen. I have like visions of Prince Andrew dressing
2:35
Speaker 1: up in his ceremonial outfit and prancing around the house, right?
2:38
Speaker 1: Looking at himself in the mirror, telling Fergie to, you know,
2:42
Speaker 1: bow down to him or whatever. He seems like that
2:45
Speaker 1: kind of weird dude to me. Knowing that he can't
2:47
Speaker 1: wear the outfit anymore out in public certainly seems like
2:50
Speaker 1: the kind of guy that's going to LARP around and
2:53
Speaker 1: wear it at home instead. Working members of the royal
2:56
Speaker 1: family will wear military uniform when present at five ceremonial
3:00
Speaker 1: events during the period of mourning for Queen Elizabeth II.
3:05
Speaker 1: And all of these periods of mourning, it's crazy how
3:08
Speaker 1: long some of them are. Like, if I was ever
3:10
Speaker 1: some kind of, like, public figure of note, I don't
3:13
Speaker 1: think I'd want my body to be laid out for
3:15
Speaker 1: people to come and gawk at. Go ahead and get
3:18
Speaker 1: on with it. Throw me into the flames or bury me,
3:21
Speaker 1: whatever it is, but don't come and gawk at me
3:23
Speaker 1: like I'm some sort of attraction. These are the service
3:28
Speaker 1: of Thanksgiving at St. Giles Cathedral, Edenburg, and procession to
3:32
Speaker 1: Westminster Hall, and service of prayer and reflection. the vigil
3:37
Speaker 1: at Westminster Hall, the state funeral at Westminster Abbey, and
3:41
Speaker 1: the committal service at St. George's Chapel of Windsor. So
3:46
Speaker 1: there's like a whole ass pomp and circumstance that's on
3:49
Speaker 1: the way. And I understand she was royal, she was
3:52
Speaker 1: a queen, 70 years, people love her.
3:55
Speaker 2: But man, oh man, when's enough enough?
3:58
Speaker 1: It's just like here in America when politicians die and
4:01
Speaker 1: they have them lie in state in Washington, D.C., I mean,
4:04
Speaker 1: what is this guy, Julius Caesar, all of a sudden?
4:07
Speaker 1: I just don't understand it. And I guess for me anyway,
4:10
Speaker 1: and I'm just speaking personally of myself, I'm not saying
4:13
Speaker 1: anyone else shouldn't be into all this pomp and circumstance.
4:16
Speaker 2: Whatever you're into, hey, that's great. Me personally, I just
4:19
Speaker 2: don't get it.
4:19
Speaker 1: These are just normal ass people, and I don't know
4:23
Speaker 1: why I should put them on any kind of pedestal.
4:27
Speaker 1: But as a non-working member of the royal family, the
4:30
Speaker 1: Duke of York will not wear a uniform except as
4:33
Speaker 1: a special mark of respect for Queen Elizabeth II at
4:37
Speaker 1: the final vigil in Westminster Hall, sources said. So they're
4:42
Speaker 1: really trying to be cautious of having the optics of
4:45
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew even making a slight step back into the
4:50
Speaker 1: public eye. They know that that's not a winning strategy.
4:53
Speaker 1: They know people want nothing to do with them. And
4:55
Speaker 1: having him forced down their throats, meaning the public of
4:58
Speaker 1: the UK and of the world in general, they know
5:02
Speaker 1: that that's not a winning strategy. So why would they
5:04
Speaker 1: engage in it? Prince Andrew's going to be in his civvies, folks,
5:08
Speaker 1: just like me and you. Guess what? That's because he's
5:11
Speaker 1: no different, well, besides being a sick bastard, than the
5:14
Speaker 1: rest of us. Oh, he was born to a queen,
5:17
Speaker 1: but guess what? Pretty sure all of his bodily functions,
5:20
Speaker 1: same as ours, his blood, pretty sure it's red. Pretty
5:23
Speaker 1: sure he puts his pants on the same way we do,
5:25
Speaker 1: or maybe someone does it for him, but the point is,
5:28
Speaker 1: he is no better than any of you. I don't
5:31
Speaker 1: care if you're a street sweep. I don't care if
5:34
Speaker 1: you're a greeter at Walmart. This man is no better
5:37
Speaker 1: than anybody else. And it is bizarre to me that
5:40
Speaker 1: anyone would worship these people. It means that Prince Harry,
5:47
Speaker 1: who served two tours of duty in Afghanistan during his
5:49
Speaker 1: 10 years in the army, but lost his honorary military
5:53
Speaker 1: titles when he stepped down as a senior working royal,
5:56
Speaker 1: is not the only close family member in civilian dress. See,
6:00
Speaker 1: the thing with Harry, I think he's getting the short
6:02
Speaker 1: end of the stick here. Just because dude wants to
6:04
Speaker 1: leave the country and move to America with this girl,
6:07
Speaker 1: you have to pretty much disinherit him? Kinda ridiculous. It
6:15
Speaker 1: comes after Prince Andrew joined his siblings, Princess Anne, Prince Edward,
6:19
Speaker 1: and other senior royals to greet well-wishers after attending a
6:22
Speaker 1: private memorial church service on Saturday. Look, nobody can tell
6:26
Speaker 1: this guy he can't mourn his mother, right? I won't
6:29
Speaker 1: even sit here and pretend to do that. But at
6:31
Speaker 1: the same time, I don't want him shoved down our throats.
6:36
Speaker 1: This guy was accused of some pretty heinous stuff and
6:38
Speaker 1: still hasn't come out and really answered for it. Oh,
6:41
Speaker 1: he had a settlement, sure. But has he ever really
6:44
Speaker 1: sat down and answered real questions besides with Emily Maitlis?
6:49
Speaker 1: Of course he hasn't. Prince Andrew took a moment to
6:54
Speaker 1: put his arms around his daughters as they stood and
6:57
Speaker 1: read the tributes. The family was brought to the Scottish estate.
7:01
Speaker 1: in a cavalcade of Range Rovers after attending a short
7:04
Speaker 1: service dedicated to the late queen in the church she
7:08
Speaker 1: regularly attended when staying at Balmoral. Now look, I don't
7:12
Speaker 1: want to seem like one of these people that's doing
7:14
Speaker 1: a happy dance because the queen is dead. That's just
7:17
Speaker 1: not my DNA. I really don't do the happy dance
7:20
Speaker 1: when people die. As much as I criticize the way
7:23
Speaker 1: she handled Prince Andrew, I never, you know, wished any
7:27
Speaker 1: ill on the lady. And while I understand why people
7:32
Speaker 1: don't like her or don't like the regime and what
7:34
Speaker 1: they stood for, I'm not going to sit here and,
7:38
Speaker 1: you know, make it personal. Because for me, this is
7:41
Speaker 1: about justice. It's not about personality. It's not about, oh,
7:45
Speaker 1: these people are royal, so I hate them. These people
7:48
Speaker 1: wouldn't even be a thought in my brain, folks, if
7:51
Speaker 1: it wasn't for Prince Andrew. I wouldn't have a word
7:53
Speaker 1: to say about this lady. But unfortunately for them, Me
7:58
Speaker 1: and my beard stumbled directly into this story. And, you know,
8:02
Speaker 1: sometimes you just got to talk about things that are uncomfortable.
8:09
Speaker 1: And for people who are loyalists or monarchists, they don't
8:12
Speaker 1: want to hear about the queen enabling Prince Andrew for
8:14
Speaker 1: all of these years. But that's exactly what he did. However,
8:18
Speaker 1: I'm certainly not celebrating the death here. You know, there's
8:22
Speaker 1: people who love this lady. Her family members and, you know,
8:25
Speaker 1: 96 years old.
8:26
Speaker 2: It's a good life.
8:27
Speaker 1: I lost my grandpa right around the same age, and
8:31
Speaker 1: he lived a great life too. But when it comes
8:34
Speaker 1: to the Queen, my biggest problem with her is the
8:37
Speaker 1: enabling of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew was stripped of his
8:42
Speaker 1: royal duties by the Queen after he reached a financial
8:45
Speaker 1: settlement in a sexual assault case brought by Virginia Roberts said,
8:49
Speaker 1: We've been allowed one day. Now we start the process
8:52
Speaker 1: of handing her on. And that has to be crazy, right?
8:55
Speaker 1: Your mom is this queen and you don't get to
8:58
Speaker 1: maybe mourn the way other people might. So it's definitely
9:02
Speaker 1: a weird deal. There's no doubt in my mind about that.
9:05
Speaker 1: Because the queen isn't just her family's. She is basically
9:08
Speaker 1: a possession of the whole nation, right? So the family,
9:13
Speaker 1: if they want privacy, they can have their little ceremony.
9:15
Speaker 1: But the queen is bigger than that. And it's a
9:19
Speaker 1: whole state event. The Duke attended a prayer service for
9:23
Speaker 1: the Queen at Crathy Kirk near Balmoral, alongside other members
9:27
Speaker 1: of the royal family, including his daughters. The Duke of
9:31
Speaker 1: York and Sarah, Duchess of York, also became the new
9:34
Speaker 1: owners of Queen Elizabeth II's beloved corgis following her death.
9:39
Speaker 1: A spokesperson for Prince Andrew said that he and Sarah
9:42
Speaker 1: will take on the animals named Moik and Sandy. Both
9:45
Speaker 1: dogs were gifted to the late monarch by the Prince.
9:49
Speaker 1: So he gave the dogs to the queen originally. And
9:53
Speaker 1: now him and Fergie taking them back to look after them.
9:57
Speaker 1: The queen was famously a big fan of the breed.
10:00
Speaker 1: and owned more than 30 Corgis during her lifetime. In
10:03
Speaker 1: early 2021, she was given two new puppies, one Corgi
10:07
Speaker 1: and one Dorgi, a Corgi-Dachshund mixed breed. King Charles III
10:12
Speaker 1: will lead a royal procession today in Edinburgh as the
10:15
Speaker 1: late queen's coffin is moved from the Palace of Holyrood
10:21
Speaker 1: to St. Giles Cathedral. Well, at least Prince Andrew isn't
10:25
Speaker 1: going to be wearing his military clothes. I was wondering
10:28
Speaker 1: if he was going to try and pull a move,
10:30
Speaker 1: but with King Charles sitting there with his scepter ready
10:33
Speaker 1: to smack this dude in the head like a whack-a-mole,
10:36
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew thought better of it. We'll definitely keep our
10:39
Speaker 1: eye on these ceremonies and processions and see what goes
10:43
Speaker 1: on here. And I'm very interested to see the fallout
10:46
Speaker 1: now that Prince Charles has become king. If you'd like
10:51
Speaker 1: to contact me, you can do that at bobbycapucci at protonmail.com.

11:02
Speaker 1: Twitter at B-O-B-B-Y underscore C-A-P-U-C-C-I. The link that I discussed
11:09
Speaker 1: can be found in the description box. Follow the thread
11:13
Speaker 1: of our buddy Prince Andrew a little bit more this morning.
11:15
Speaker 1: We have two articles about him. The first is about
11:18
Speaker 1: what's going on in the royal family. And the second
11:21
Speaker 1: is about what people that are close to him, you know,
11:23
Speaker 1: part of the royal court, other, you know, royalty in England,
11:27
Speaker 1: what they think about him and what they say about
11:29
Speaker 1: him behind his back even before this occurred. So it
11:32
Speaker 1: wasn't like this is like something completely out of character.
11:35
Speaker 1: People have been, you know, talking about Andy for years
11:37
Speaker 1: and years and years about his proclivities and the things
11:40
Speaker 1: he likes to do and the people he runs with, uh,
11:43
Speaker 1: people he accepts money from. So it's not like this is,
11:46
Speaker 1: you know, just, oh, because of this sex scandal, all
11:49
Speaker 1: of a sudden he's, he's considered a moron or a dullard.
11:51
Speaker 1: He's been considered that basically his whole life by these insiders,
11:54
Speaker 1: I guess. And it's all new to me because up
11:57
Speaker 1: until this point I had zero, I really didn't even
11:59
Speaker 1: know what a Prince Andrew was. I could care, I
12:00
Speaker 1: couldn't care less about the, uh, the royal family. I had,
12:05
Speaker 1: who cares?
12:08
Speaker 3: 1776, right?
12:09
Speaker 1: That was the last time Americans had to worry about
12:10
Speaker 1: the royal family. So I was just like blown away
12:14
Speaker 1: by reading all of this stuff that the people say
12:16
Speaker 1: about him. But it doesn't shock me really when you
12:19
Speaker 1: sit back and think about it. All of these different
12:21
Speaker 1: royals are jostling for position. All of these people are
12:24
Speaker 1: in the court looking for favor of the queen and
12:26
Speaker 1: the prince, the king in waiting. So, you know, I'm
12:29
Speaker 1: sure there's factions, different groups that, you know, battle it out.
12:34
Speaker 1: But what's really telling about all of this is pretty
12:36
Speaker 1: much to a man or woman, I guess, his whole
12:39
Speaker 1: entire family has abandoned him. The repercussions have been felt
12:43
Speaker 1: far and wide for Andrew. His daughter's engagement party's off.
12:47
Speaker 1: You know, there's a lot going on. And guess what?
12:50
Speaker 1: He has no one to blame but himself. He should
12:53
Speaker 1: have kept his little guy in his pants. If he
12:57
Speaker 1: really needed to have a woman with all that money,
12:59
Speaker 1: he couldn't have bought a professional woman A woman, an
13:03
Speaker 1: actual woman? I'm sure that there's escorts that he could
13:09
Speaker 1: have gotten involved with if that's what he was looking
13:11
Speaker 1: to do. Or there's, you know, I'm sure there's girls
13:15
Speaker 1: that would have just wanted to be with him. Why
13:17
Speaker 1: does he have to get involved in this whole trafficking thing?
13:20
Speaker 1: Why does he have to abuse a 17-year-old girl? Why
13:23
Speaker 1: does he have to do that sort of thing? Well,
13:25
Speaker 1: I'll tell you.
13:25
Speaker 2: It's all about power and control, folks.
13:27
Speaker 1: It's all about exerting their power over the rest of us,
13:30
Speaker 1: be it with their two-tier justice system or with just
13:33
Speaker 1: their mockery system. By doing things such as this so
13:36
Speaker 1: brazenly for so long and thinking nobody will ever jump
13:39
Speaker 1: on board and say, hey, what the hell is wrong
13:41
Speaker 1: with you? What are you, sick bastard? You're a pervert.
13:45
Speaker 1: You never thought that that was ever going to happen.
13:47
Speaker 1: And now that he's being called out on his nonsense, well,
13:50
Speaker 1: it's a big problem for Andrew. It's a big problem
13:53
Speaker 1: for the royal family. And it's a big problem for
13:56
Speaker 1: anyone who is involved in this sex trafficking scheme. If
13:59
Speaker 1: you'd like to contact me, you can do that at
14:01
Speaker 1: bobbycapucci at protonmail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at protonmail.com. All right, let's
14:09
Speaker 1: hop into these articles, shall we? The first one is
14:13
Speaker 1: from The Express. The headline is, Royal Feud Exposed. Insider
14:17
Speaker 1: lifts lid on crisis lunch between Andrew and Charles. Prince
14:22
Speaker 1: Andrew was summoned to Sandringham for a crisis lunch where
14:24
Speaker 1: he was read the riot act by Prince Charles after
14:27
Speaker 1: the Duke of Edinburgh also rebuked his son, according to
14:30
Speaker 1: a royal expert. Prince Andrew resigned from his royal duties
14:34
Speaker 1: at the end of last month, at the request of
14:36
Speaker 1: the Queen. Now, the palace has indicated that the Duke
14:39
Speaker 1: of York will make his next public appearance at Sandringham
14:43
Speaker 1: with the rest of the royal family at the traditional
14:46
Speaker 1: church visit on Christmas Day. I heard, though, that there's
14:50
Speaker 1: going to be some sexual assault groups there, and they're
14:52
Speaker 1: going to be there to protest if he shows up.
14:55
Speaker 1: So I'm interested to see if this all happens, if
14:58
Speaker 1: he really does end up showing up with the family
15:00
Speaker 1: on Christmas to show face, or if the Queen and
15:04
Speaker 1: really probably Prince Charles tells him, hey, look, dude, you're out.
15:07
Speaker 1: You can't be here. However, last week Sandringham was the
15:13
Speaker 1: scene of a showdown between the Duke and his brother,
15:15
Speaker 1: Prince Charles, as the Prince of Wales went straight to
15:18
Speaker 1: see Prince Philip, who now lives on his private royal
15:21
Speaker 1: estate after touching down from his latest tour. Podcast Pod
15:26
Speaker 1: Save the Queen is hosted by Anne Gripper and features
15:28
Speaker 1: the Daily Mirror's royal editor, Russell Myers. In the latest episode, Mr.
15:33
Speaker 1: Myers detailed the crisis lunch that Prince Andrew was summoned
15:37
Speaker 1: to last Monday, driving 140 miles from Windsor to Sandringham
15:42
Speaker 1: at the behest of his brother. Well, hold on a
15:44
Speaker 1: minute here. Didn't his brother, wasn't Charles hanging out with
15:47
Speaker 1: Jimmy Savile?
15:50
Speaker 2: Wasn't he buddies with him?
15:52
Speaker 1: So, maybe that's worth some more investigation at some point. Mr.
15:58
Speaker 1: Myers said Charles obviously rushed straight to Sandringham to see
16:01
Speaker 1: his father, to seek his counsel on this crisis that
16:03
Speaker 1: is still ongoing. William had done an investiture and went
16:07
Speaker 1: to go see the Queen, and William and Charles no
16:09
Speaker 1: doubt came together to discuss what had been said by
16:12
Speaker 1: the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. And now, it appears
16:17
Speaker 1: Charles summoned Andrew to Sandringham. They have had this showdown
16:20
Speaker 1: that was widely reported to be coming the week before
16:23
Speaker 1: last when Charles was still away on his tour. Some
16:26
Speaker 1: of the aides were frantically suggesting that this wasn't going
16:28
Speaker 1: to happen, and lo and behold, it has happened, as
16:31
Speaker 1: we were rightly saying. So, Charles was obviously furious that
16:37
Speaker 1: his brother has made this decision, dragged not only his name,
16:40
Speaker 1: but the royal family's name.
16:42
Speaker 2: Completely through the mud.
16:44
Speaker 1: Once again, it's all about the royal family, and especially
16:47
Speaker 1: this Prince Charles guy. I'm not a fan at all
16:49
Speaker 1: of this Prince Charles character. I guarantee you, if we
16:52
Speaker 1: look hard enough, he has skeletons in his closet as well.
16:58
Speaker 1: And totally overshadowed Charles Tor where he was talking about very,
17:02
Speaker 1: very important issues like climate change. It didn't even get
17:05
Speaker 1: a look in because of the scandal kicking off at
17:07
Speaker 1: the time. Again, it's all about me, me, me, me, me. Oh,
17:10
Speaker 1: you're raping girls. That overshadows what I'm doing. I really
17:15
Speaker 1: despise the royal family at this point, folks. I'm sorry
17:17
Speaker 1: to my English listeners. I know that there's quite a
17:21
Speaker 1: bit of you, but this royal family, you guys got
17:23
Speaker 1: to do away with this.
17:24
Speaker 2: You have to do away with this.
17:26
Speaker 1: I'll tell you what, we'll do away with our royal families,
17:28
Speaker 1: the Bushes and the Clintons, and you do away with
17:30
Speaker 1: your royals, and then we'll all meet at the bar
17:32
Speaker 1: for a pint. Miss Gripper referenced reports in The Sun
17:39
Speaker 1: last week in which a royal source said it was
17:42
Speaker 1: all very civilized and calm, but Charles calmly read him
17:45
Speaker 1: the riot act and told him there was no way
17:47
Speaker 1: back for him in the near future. Andrew thought he
17:49
Speaker 1: was being treated harshly, as nothing has yet been proved
17:52
Speaker 1: against him. And that's another thing that's telling folks, right?
17:55
Speaker 1: Like I said, if his own family has bounced on him,
17:58
Speaker 1: and they haven't closed ranks around him, and there's nothing
18:01
Speaker 1: being quote-unquote proven yet, well, that's a bad look. The
18:04
Speaker 1: optics are terrible for this guy. But he accepted the decision.
18:08
Speaker 1: He really had little choice. Mr. Myers continued, it's absolutely
18:12
Speaker 1: over for him. Even his own family are telling him.
18:15
Speaker 1: And I think that's quite telling, that quote, saying that
18:18
Speaker 1: he thinks he's been treated harshly. Well, that is just
18:20
Speaker 1: absolutely ridiculous.
18:21
Speaker 2: I couldn't disagree.
18:23
Speaker 1: I mean, I couldn't agree with that more. He was
18:25
Speaker 1: treated harshly? No, Virginia Roberts was treated harshly, buddy, at
18:30
Speaker 1: your hands, all right? At your fat, sausagey fingertips. He's
18:35
Speaker 1: not expressing regret or empathy or willing to admit that
18:38
Speaker 1: he was wrong. It's absolutely staggering. Regardless of whether the
18:42
Speaker 1: allegations are true or not, the very fact that he
18:44
Speaker 1: didn't regret his decisions will long hang over him. Well,
18:49
Speaker 1: why is nobody saying it? At the very least, at
18:53
Speaker 1: the very least, he's an enabler. And what is as
18:56
Speaker 1: bad as, like I've said, the enablers are almost as bad.
19:01
Speaker 1: Added to Charles and Andrew's showdown, a Sandringham insider told
19:04
Speaker 1: The Telegraph last week that Prince Philip also had some
19:07
Speaker 1: stern words for Andrew the week before. The source said
19:11
Speaker 1: it was a tense meeting, and Philip told his son
19:13
Speaker 1: he had to take his punishment. Aw, Daddy and Mommy
19:17
Speaker 1: both scolded you. Aw, well, that's what happens when you're
19:19
Speaker 1: involved in sexual assault cases. That's what happens when you
19:22
Speaker 1: traffic young ladies. That's what happens when you're a complete
19:26
Speaker 1: and utter moron. There was no screaming or shouting, but
19:32
Speaker 1: Philip told him in no uncertain terms that he had
19:34
Speaker 1: to step down for the sake of the monarchy. It
19:36
Speaker 1: was agreed they would have another meeting with Charles. Another
19:40
Speaker 1: source told The Sun, Philip regrets Andrew doesn't know how
19:43
Speaker 1: to lead a simple life. He thinks he's been too extravagant.
19:46
Speaker 2: Oh, well, is that so?
19:47
Speaker 1: An understatement of the year. Are you kidding me right now?
19:51
Speaker 2: Too extravagant?
19:52
Speaker 1: How about too rapey and too touchy and too gross?
19:55
Speaker 2: How about that?
19:57
Speaker 3: Maybe it was that, Pops.
19:59
Speaker 2: And I'll go a bit further.
20:01
Speaker 1: Maybe if you and your wife were around more and
20:03
Speaker 1: you took care of your son, Prince Andrew, and raised
20:05
Speaker 1: him correctly and didn't leave it up to other people,
20:06
Speaker 1: maybe he would have grown up to be a decent guy.
20:08
Speaker 2: But instead, you left it.
20:10
Speaker 1: To your nannies and your au pairs and whoever the
20:12
Speaker 1: hell else you silly-ass royals have running around your stupid-ass
20:17
Speaker 1: palace that's paid for by the.
20:19
Speaker 2: People of England.
20:20
Speaker 1: And, you know, it's just gross.
20:22
Speaker 2: You people are just gross.
20:23
Speaker 1: The whole entire elite ruling class just grosses me out.
20:28
Speaker 2: All right, our next article.
20:30
Speaker 1: is from the Daily Mail, and the headline is, Craig Brown,
20:33
Speaker 1: to servants, there's just one Prince of Oafs. And that's hilarious,
20:38
Speaker 1: because we all know that I think this guy, Prince Andrew,
20:41
Speaker 1: is a complete and utter moron. On November 28th, 2001,
20:46
Speaker 1: Giles Brandreth attended a reception at Buckingham Palace for Big
20:50
Speaker 1: Wigs in the Media. The Queen was telling a small
20:53
Speaker 1: group of guests how Prince Andrew and Prince Edward were
20:55
Speaker 1: keen on surfing the net, a phrase that nowadays seems
20:58
Speaker 1: rather quaint, when up behind them came the Duke of York.
21:02
Speaker 1: Her Majesty moves on, Brandreth recorded in his diary, and
21:05
Speaker 1: I say to her son, I've just been hearing how
21:07
Speaker 1: you're a dab hand with a mouse. No, he booms,
21:10
Speaker 1: I'm more of a nipple man myself. What?
21:13
Speaker 2: Is he talking about?
21:15
Speaker 1: Now, mind you, this is in 2001, the same time
21:17
Speaker 1: he supposedly, allegedly raped Virginia Roberts a few months after.
21:21
Speaker 1: And he's talking about, no, I'm a nipple man instead
21:23
Speaker 1: of a dab hand with a mouse?
21:26
Speaker 3: Really?
21:27
Speaker 1: What sort of knucklehead is this guy, really? After this revelation,
21:32
Speaker 1: the prince drifts off and bounds cheerily between female newscasters.
21:35
Speaker 1: 18 years on, it seems unlikely Prince Andrew will be
21:39
Speaker 1: cracking this sort of joke at a future palace reception. Well, yeah,
21:42
Speaker 1: he's not invited. Or even that he will be invited
21:45
Speaker 1: to one. And after his unfortunate encounter with Emily Maitlis,
21:49
Speaker 1: female newscasters may not hold quite the same appeal.
21:53
Speaker 2: Yeah, well, probably. I bet you he's waking up in.
21:55
Speaker 1: Cold sweats from the interview with Emily Maitlis, huh? I
21:58
Speaker 1: don't sweat. It's fascinating how memories echo across time, giving
22:04
Speaker 1: off different sounds. For instance, in her 1995 memoir, The
22:07
Speaker 1: Housekeeper's Diary, the Prince of Wales housekeeper, Wendy Berry, recalled
22:11
Speaker 1: Jimmy Savile dropping in at Highgrove on one of his
22:15
Speaker 1: regular visits. As he waited for the prince, he puffed
22:18
Speaker 1: on his cigar and sent great clouds of blue smoke
22:21
Speaker 1: in the air. He knew that smoking was officially frowned
22:23
Speaker 1: on in the house, but just laughed it off, saying, oh,
22:26
Speaker 1: the boss won't mind. He knows how much I like
22:28
Speaker 1: my cigars. So how many, I have to ask this,
22:33
Speaker 1: how many predators are these people going to be around?
22:37
Speaker 1: Jimmy Savile is one of the most vicious and disgusting
22:42
Speaker 1: pedophiles of all time. This was, of course, long before
22:47
Speaker 1: the sordid truth about Savile was known, which makes the
22:50
Speaker 1: housekeeper's innocent account all the more telling. Strolling around in
22:54
Speaker 1: his tracksuit with the laces of his training shoes left undone,
22:57
Speaker 1: Jimmy Savile was the most unlikely spiritual comforter for Charles
23:01
Speaker 1: that could be imagined. He would drive up in his
23:03
Speaker 1: enormous mobile home and leave it parked like some incongruous
23:06
Speaker 1: monster in the background. ah jimmy laughed the prince as
23:10
Speaker 1: paul the butler ushered him through the drawing-room how nice
23:13
Speaker 1: of you to come the pair remained shut away for
23:16
Speaker 1: over an hour memoirs written below stairs tend to be
23:20
Speaker 1: infinitely more revealing than those written above recalling the two
23:24
Speaker 1: younger princes wendy berry found edward utterly charming and polite
23:28
Speaker 1: but andrew boorish and rude her son james who worked
23:31
Speaker 1: at buckingham palace told her of Andrew's tendency to barge
23:35
Speaker 1: his way around the house expecting him to be looked
23:37
Speaker 1: after and served for every whim. And that's what I
23:39
Speaker 1: was just talking about earlier. He definitely comes off as
23:42
Speaker 1: that type, right? The type that, give me this now
23:44
Speaker 1: or I'll take it. You know, you can't tell me no.
23:48
Speaker 1: Definitely that kind of person. A propensity for parading naked
23:53
Speaker 1: in front of staff was, it seems, evident. On a
23:56
Speaker 1: weekend shooting with the Duke of Westminster, the prince had
24:00
Speaker 1: just gone off for a bath when the bell rang.'
24:02
Speaker 1: Come in, come in!' shouted Andrew as James knocked on
24:04
Speaker 1: the door.' Where the bloody hell are my black socks,
24:07
Speaker 1: the ones with the stripe at the top?' He was
24:09
Speaker 1: standing in the middle of the room, stark naked, vigorously
24:12
Speaker 1: rubbing his wet hair with a towel. Staff were practically
24:14
Speaker 1: invisible as far as he was concerned.' Yeah, because we're
24:17
Speaker 1: not human beings to him. We don't matter to him.
24:19
Speaker 1: We're just, you know, there to help him find his socks,
24:22
Speaker 1: I guess.' On one occasion, a call from one of
24:26
Speaker 1: the staff was put through to the young prince. Rather
24:29
Speaker 1: than politely telling the caller that the telephonist must have
24:31
Speaker 1: made a mistake, he simply barked.
24:34
Speaker 2: Wrong bloody room, idiot, and hung up.
24:36
Speaker 1: Another royal servant, Malcolm Barker, also found Prince Edward kind
24:40
Speaker 1: and sensitive, while Andrew was a different matter. In his
24:43
Speaker 1: 1990 memoirs, Barker recorded how, as an 11-year-old, Prince Andrew
24:47
Speaker 1: tied footman shoelaces together and then ordered them about. Oh,
24:51
Speaker 1: so what are we going to hear next? He was
24:52
Speaker 1: killing cats and dogs like John Wayne Gacy? Though the
24:56
Speaker 1: more we read about Prince Andrew, the more I'm convinced
24:58
Speaker 1: and locked in that this guy is 100% guilty of
25:01
Speaker 1: the charges rendered against him. Ten years later, he noted
25:05
Speaker 1: that the prince was forever dragging the worst bunch of
25:07
Speaker 1: tarts up to dine with his mother, each seeming to
25:10
Speaker 1: compete with the previous for lack of brains. The one
25:13
Speaker 1: characteristic his girlfriends did not lack, though, was ample breasts.
25:17
Speaker 1: The only time I ever encountered Prince Andrew was more
25:20
Speaker 1: than 40 years ago at a large house party in Scotland.
25:23
Speaker 1: I was 19 years old, so he would have been
25:25
Speaker 1: about 17. Over breakfast, three pretty girls who were sharing
25:28
Speaker 1: a bedroom told the rest of us that the prince
25:30
Speaker 1: had barged into their room in the early hours of
25:32
Speaker 1: the morning, saying, There's a ghost in my room, so
25:35
Speaker 1: I'm going to have to sleep in here. Needless to say,
25:39
Speaker 1: they booted him out, and for the rest of his stay,
25:41
Speaker 1: he was that stock figure of English comedy, popularized by
25:45
Speaker 1: Benny Hill, the pompous oaf whose moves make.
25:49
Speaker 2: Him a laughingstock.
25:50
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew was young then, and he is old now,
25:53
Speaker 1: but judging by the recent events, he has yet to
25:55
Speaker 1: learn his lesson. And there you go, folks. Just more
26:00
Speaker 1: evidence of this boorish moron Prince Andrew and the nonsense
26:04
Speaker 1: he likes to get up to. Barging into girls' rooms,
26:07
Speaker 1: standing around naked, yelling at servants. And again, standing alone,
26:12
Speaker 1: none of this stuff is damning, right? It makes you
26:15
Speaker 1: shake your head and say, oh yeah, typical elite. But
26:17
Speaker 1: it's not damning. But when you put it all together
26:20
Speaker 1: in context, it all paints a very vivid picture of
26:24
Speaker 1: a man who is obviously not a good guy. All right, folks,
26:30
Speaker 1: if you would like to contact me, you can do
26:32
Speaker 1: that at BobbyCapucci at ProtonMail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at ProtonMail.com.
26:41
Speaker 3: Our article today is from the Express.
26:44
Speaker 1: The headline, Prince Andrew Shock Claim. Duke should be stripped
26:49
Speaker 1: of royal honors and protection. The author of this article
26:53
Speaker 1: is Kate Nicholson. And I'd most certainly agree with the
26:58
Speaker 1: headline here. This guy should be stripped of all of
27:02
Speaker 1: his honors, his protection, and most certainly any funds that
27:06
Speaker 1: are coming from the taxpayers. Now, listen, this guy has
27:12
Speaker 1: not been convicted in.
27:13
Speaker 3: A court of law, right? That's not the issue here.
27:17
Speaker 1: The issue is he refuses to speak to the FBI.
27:23
Speaker 1: He refuses to help the investigation. And in turn... Has
27:28
Speaker 1: dishonored himself. Every which way you can imagine.
27:35
Speaker 3: And the reason.
27:37
Speaker 2: He does not want to.
27:38
Speaker 1: Speak with the FBI. Is because he understands. The peril
27:42
Speaker 1: that he is in. He does not have the truth
27:46
Speaker 1: on his side folks.
27:49
Speaker 2: This is a man.
27:50
Speaker 1: Who thought using a pizza party. For his daughter. Was
27:55
Speaker 1: a quality alibi. When other people. Numerous people at this point.
28:01
Speaker 1: Put him at Tramp. That night with Virginia. And yet
28:07
Speaker 1: this guy.
28:08
Speaker 2: Still thinks.
28:10
Speaker 3: That he should have all of his titles.
28:12
Speaker 1: All of his honors. All of the money from.
28:15
Speaker 3: The British taxpayers. It's obscene.
28:21
Speaker 1: There is no way in hell. That this man. should
28:26
Speaker 1: be a representative of the English people or of the monarchy.
28:32
Speaker 1: Strip him of all of his titles, all of his honors,
28:37
Speaker 1: all of his money, until he.
28:38
Speaker 3: Does the right thing.
28:45
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew should be stripped of his palace honors and protection,
28:49
Speaker 1: just like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Now he is
28:52
Speaker 1: no longer a working royal, a commentator has claimed. Well, look, again,
28:57
Speaker 1: as everybody knows who's listening to this podcast, I am
29:00
Speaker 1: not some sort of royal historian. I don't know much
29:03
Speaker 1: about the monarchy besides what I've learned in my research
29:08
Speaker 1: of this case. And obviously, historically speaking, you know, I
29:12
Speaker 1: understand the basic premise of the monarchy in England, right?
29:17
Speaker 1: But as far as like the ins and the outs,
29:20
Speaker 1: the nuts and the bolts, a working royal, I didn't
29:22
Speaker 1: even know what the hell that was, to be honest
29:24
Speaker 1: with you, until I started researching this case. I figured
29:27
Speaker 1: they were all working royals, right? If you're royalty, I'm
29:30
Speaker 1: sure you have some sort of duty. I guess there
29:33
Speaker 1: might be some non-working royals, right? Dudes that just sit around,
29:36
Speaker 1: collect some dough, drink some wine and dick off. I guess.
29:39
Speaker 1: that's the case but i never even knew what a
29:43
Speaker 1: working royal was and i guess it's somebody that goes
29:47
Speaker 1: around and you know does uh does whatever duties the
29:50
Speaker 1: the crown has for them be it uh uh moving
29:55
Speaker 1: the family's image forward or working a charity or showing
29:59
Speaker 1: up at a disaster site, whatever it may be. I
30:01
Speaker 1: guess that is what a working Royal is for me.
30:05
Speaker 1: Work has a whole different, uh, uh, tone to it.
30:09
Speaker 3: Okay.
30:09
Speaker 1: Work means, you know, waking up six in the morning,
30:12
Speaker 1: getting dressed, going to some corporate office, getting hammered by
30:17
Speaker 1: your boss and your employees. If you're a middle management
30:20
Speaker 1: going home, crying all night because you hate your life,
30:24
Speaker 1: back to sleep, rinse and repeat, over and over and
30:27
Speaker 1: over again for 40-something years. That's work. What these people
30:32
Speaker 1: are doing, that's not work to me, all right? You're
30:34
Speaker 1: out hobnobbing. You're schmoozing. You're hanging out with gunrunners and
30:38
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epsteins. Andrew announced his decision to step back from
30:44
Speaker 1: his public duties back in November, just days after his
30:47
Speaker 1: car crash, Hindenburg level, interview with BBC Newsnight. He didn't
30:52
Speaker 1: step back.
30:54
Speaker 2: Old boy got grounded by mummy.
30:55
Speaker 1: All right.
30:58
Speaker 3: It wasn't his choice. What do you think?
31:00
Speaker 1: Andrew was just like he had enough sense, enough self-awareness
31:04
Speaker 1: to be like, oh, yeah, it's probably a good idea
31:06
Speaker 1: if I extricate myself from all of this. Take a
31:09
Speaker 1: step back and sit my princely ass down in the
31:12
Speaker 1: back of the classroom. You really think he had that
31:15
Speaker 1: kind of self-awareness? Of course not.
31:17
Speaker 3: He had to probably be bodily dragged.
31:20
Speaker 1: Before the queen so she could tell him that he
31:22
Speaker 1: was grounded.
31:26
Speaker 3: The Duke of York, a.k.a.
31:28
Speaker 1: The Joe Exotic of the Windsor family, had answered a
31:31
Speaker 1: range of questions on his association with Jeffrey Epstein, a
31:34
Speaker 1: convicted sex offender who was arrested last year on charges
31:38
Speaker 1: of sexual abuse towards young women and girls. You know, again,
31:43
Speaker 1: I get it, right? That's... what they want to say,
31:47
Speaker 1: his association with Jeffrey Epstein. It doesn't seem as monstrous,
31:51
Speaker 1: but let's call it for what it is, okay? He
31:53
Speaker 1: is being credibly accused of partaking in the actual abuse
31:58
Speaker 1: of at least Virginia.
32:00
Speaker 3: So let's call it what it is. Let's not pussyfoot.
32:02
Speaker 1: Around and say, oh, his associations, because you can live
32:05
Speaker 1: if you have those sort of associations, right? You're not
32:08
Speaker 1: going to be completely and utterly destroyed if you just
32:12
Speaker 1: had an association with Jeffrey Epstein. Of course, you're going
32:16
Speaker 1: to be called onto the carpet. The light is going
32:18
Speaker 1: to be shined on you. That's just part of the
32:20
Speaker 1: process when you're hanging out with a prolific sex child offender.
32:25
Speaker 1: But if you were just an associate of Epstein, if
32:28
Speaker 1: you were just an enabler of Epstein, you would not
32:32
Speaker 1: be getting the double barrel that you are. Andrew was
32:37
Speaker 1: not just an enabler. He is somebody who is credibly
32:39
Speaker 1: accused of abuse. He killed himself in jail last year
32:47
Speaker 1: before his trial could begin, allegedly. U.S. authorities are still
32:51
Speaker 1: investigating Epstein's alleged international sex trafficking ring and arrested his
32:56
Speaker 1: alleged madam, co-conspirator, fellow child molester, general all-around scumbag and
33:02
Speaker 1: bipedal serpent, Ghislaine Maxwell, who has a well-known friendship with
33:07
Speaker 1: Andrew last month. That's an understatement. A well-known friendship? How
33:11
Speaker 1: about a decades-long run? of loyal friendship, of being so
33:19
Speaker 1: close that Ghislaine Maxwell basically had run of Buckingham Palace
33:24
Speaker 1: and could just come and go as she pleased. So
33:27
Speaker 1: close that they had a picnic, a stone's throw away
33:31
Speaker 1: from the window of the Queen. Her arrest has renewed
33:37
Speaker 1: public interest in Andrew and his association with both Epstein
33:41
Speaker 1: and and Ms. Maxwell, and U.S. authorities have even asked
33:45
Speaker 1: the royal to assist with their investigation as a witness.
33:48
Speaker 1: You know, the article kind of downplays it here, right?
33:51
Speaker 1: Her arrest has renewed public interest in Andrew.
33:54
Speaker 2: Uh, what?
33:55
Speaker 1: Interest was already there. Interest was high. There were articles
33:59
Speaker 1: coming out every single day, basically. What it has done
34:02
Speaker 1: has really put his feet over the fire now. Whereas
34:07
Speaker 1: it was just a... group of people who were interested
34:11
Speaker 1: in this case a large group mind you but now
34:14
Speaker 1: the general public is interested now the general public is
34:17
Speaker 1: asking questions and when the general public starts getting interested
34:22
Speaker 1: in what's going on especially during the 24 hour news
34:26
Speaker 1: cycle where most stories are dumped then you know as
34:31
Speaker 1: a royal or a rich person or somebody who's caught
34:35
Speaker 1: up in this you know that the stakes are most
34:37
Speaker 1: certainly about to get higher Andrew's legal team say they
34:44
Speaker 1: have offered to help out on at least three separate
34:47
Speaker 1: occasions while the FBI argues against that claim. And remember,
34:52
Speaker 1: this comes down to semantics, right? I'm sure Andrew and
34:55
Speaker 1: his team have offered to speak to the FBI, but
34:59
Speaker 1: not in person, not where they can be questioned and
35:05
Speaker 1: their answers can be challenged, etc.
35:08
Speaker 2: etc.
35:08
Speaker 1: They want to give a written statement. They want to
35:11
Speaker 1: really be able to keep the prince out of jeopardy
35:14
Speaker 1: of perjury here and the investigators well their job is
35:19
Speaker 1: to set them up to walk right into something still
35:26
Speaker 1: andrew has been on the receiving end of a stream
35:28
Speaker 1: of allegations too from virginia roberts she claims she was
35:32
Speaker 1: trafficked by epstein and miss maxwell and when she was
35:35
Speaker 1: just 17 years old the pair pushed her to have
35:38
Speaker 1: sex with prince andrew On three separate occasions in 2011.
35:42
Speaker 1: And remember, this is the crux of it for me.
35:45
Speaker 1: This is the deal breaker. This is the punch in
35:48
Speaker 1: the gut. This is where Andrew really gets himself in
35:52
Speaker 1: big trouble. He could have survived his relationship.
35:56
Speaker 3: With Epstein, folks.
35:57
Speaker 1: He would have been able to weasel his way out
35:59
Speaker 1: of that. But not this. This is a step too far.
36:05
Speaker 1: This is the sort of thing that you cannot weasel
36:08
Speaker 1: your way out of. This is the sort of thing
36:12
Speaker 1: that you must answer for. Andrew and Buckingham Palace have
36:19
Speaker 1: denied the claims. The Royal told BBC Newsnight that he
36:22
Speaker 1: had no recollection of ever meeting this lady. Yeah, the
36:26
Speaker 1: picture means nothing, right? That picture is just no big deal.
36:30
Speaker 1: You know, he never met her. He doesn't remember meeting her.
36:34
Speaker 1: It wasn't like that picture was taken at some event
36:36
Speaker 1: for the Royals, right? That was a very intimate setting.
36:40
Speaker 1: at Ghislaine Maxwell's townhouse in Belgravia. Maxwell, Virginia, Andrew in
36:48
Speaker 1: the picture with the monster Epstein taking it. What do
36:54
Speaker 1: you think they were all doing back at Maxwell's Belgravia
36:57
Speaker 1: townhouse after leaving the club, after plying themselves with some booze?
37:02
Speaker 1: What do you think they were going back there to
37:04
Speaker 1: sit down with Virginia and have a talk about her future,
37:07
Speaker 1: about how they could really help her? Because that is
37:12
Speaker 1: not what occurred. I won't get into the sordid details
37:16
Speaker 1: about what occurred that night.
37:17
Speaker 2: We all know them.
37:18
Speaker 1: But the fact of the matter is this. This man
37:22
Speaker 1: says he doesn't even have a recollection of meeting her.
37:25
Speaker 1: We know that's a lie. And if he's lying about that.
37:30
Speaker 1: What else is he lying about?
37:34
Speaker 3: The fact is.
37:35
Speaker 1: A man in an intimate environment like that. With just Ghislaine.
37:41
Speaker 1: Jeffrey and Virginia is not going to tell me that
37:46
Speaker 1: he has no recollection of even meeting her, okay?
37:49
Speaker 2: I am sorry. I am not buying that.
37:51
Speaker 1: I highly doubt the investigators are buying it, and I
37:55
Speaker 1: know for a fact jurors are not going to buy it.
38:01
Speaker 1: In an official statement, the palace said, it is emphatically
38:04
Speaker 1: denied that the Duke of York had any form of
38:06
Speaker 1: sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts. Any claim to
38:11
Speaker 1: the contrary is false and without foundation. Wait a minute.
38:17
Speaker 1: So is it just sexual.
38:19
Speaker 2: Relations he didn't have with her?
38:20
Speaker 1: Or did he not meet her at all?
38:24
Speaker 2: I'm confused.
38:25
Speaker 1: Right here in the statement that was made by Buckingham
38:27
Speaker 1: Palace and the statement made by Andrew himself.
38:33
Speaker 2: Is conflicting.
38:35
Speaker 1: And we see this over and over and over when
38:37
Speaker 1: we read these articles, right? We see how many times
38:40
Speaker 1: that these people and their stories don't jive. Although Andrew
38:47
Speaker 1: has shunned the limelight since last November... he has still
38:50
Speaker 1: met some criticism. So because he shuns the limelight... he
38:56
Speaker 1: shouldn't be criticized? And he hasn't shunned the limelight. The
39:00
Speaker 1: limelight has shunned him. Royal commentator Nigel Cawthorn... author of
39:06
Speaker 1: the 2020 book... Prince Andrew, Epstein and the Palace... recently
39:10
Speaker 1: questioned why the Duke of York still had access to
39:13
Speaker 1: the sovereign grant and his HRH status.
39:16
Speaker 3: I agree with that.
39:17
Speaker 1: This dude should have no titles, okay? Take them all away.
39:22
Speaker 1: He's not a working royal anymore. If old boy who
39:25
Speaker 1: married the American girl, Harry or whatever his name is,
39:29
Speaker 1: isn't getting his his dough anymore isn't getting his loot
39:32
Speaker 1: anymore doesn't have his titles anymore why should andrew all
39:37
Speaker 1: harry did was leave the country andrew's out here molesting
39:42
Speaker 1: children abusing girls who were sexually trafficked and this dude
39:45
Speaker 1: gets all of his honors and he's still getting uh
39:47
Speaker 1: uh his allowance How is that okay? Speaking on AirPod
39:55
Speaker 1: with the Omid Scobie earlier this week, Mr. Cawthorn said,
40:00
Speaker 1: what surprises me is that Harry and Meghan say they're
40:02
Speaker 1: going to have a private life. So they're going to
40:05
Speaker 1: drop the HRH and they're not going to take any
40:07
Speaker 1: more money from the privy purse from the long suffering
40:10
Speaker 1: British taxpayers.
40:12
Speaker 3: For sure.
40:13
Speaker 2: I mean, we're in the middle of.
40:14
Speaker 3: A pandemic, man.
40:16
Speaker 1: And I'm sure it's the same for my friends over
40:19
Speaker 1: there in England. Nobody has any money to be spending
40:23
Speaker 1: on dumb shit right now.
40:24
Speaker 3: People are hurting.
40:25
Speaker 1: People need help. And Prince Andrew is still drawing an
40:29
Speaker 1: allowance from the Privy Purse? From the people of England?
40:33
Speaker 1: It is grotesque, folks. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
40:40
Speaker 1: announced their intention to go financially independent earlier this year
40:44
Speaker 1: when they stepped back from life as working royals. They
40:48
Speaker 1: also lost the use of their HRH titles during their
40:51
Speaker 1: Megxit negotiations with the palace and have promised to pay
40:55
Speaker 1: back the taxpayers' fund for the £ 2. 4 million spent renovating
40:59
Speaker 1: Frogmore Cottage.
41:02
Speaker 2: So, Meghan.
41:04
Speaker 3: Markle and Harry.
41:08
Speaker 1: are going to pay back the monies that were spent
41:11
Speaker 1: from the taxpayers on their residence. Because they're no longer
41:16
Speaker 1: working royals. But Prince Andrew, on the other hand, this
41:20
Speaker 1: dude ain't doing shit, sitting around playing video games or
41:24
Speaker 1: whatever all day, whatever it is disgraced princes do. And
41:28
Speaker 1: he's still getting dough. He's still showing up in mommy's
41:31
Speaker 1: room on Mondays with his hand out for his allowance.
41:35
Speaker 1: The queen should make this dude do chores. He should
41:38
Speaker 1: be out there mucking the stables, cleaning the dinner table off.
41:43
Speaker 1: He should serve the servants, the whole flip. Mr. Cawthorn continued,
41:52
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew hasn't. He still uses his titles. He still
41:55
Speaker 1: gets money from the queen, which indirectly comes from us.
41:59
Speaker 1: He added, he's not fulfilling any royal duties at all.
42:03
Speaker 1: Why shouldn't he be treated the same as Harry and Meghan?
42:07
Speaker 3: I agree with that, right?
42:08
Speaker 1: I'm not, you know, again, I don't know the details
42:11
Speaker 1: of the inner struggles of the royal family, but what's
42:14
Speaker 1: good for the goose is good for the gander. If
42:18
Speaker 1: Meghan and Harry aren't getting their titles, and they're not
42:21
Speaker 1: getting any money, and they're only, they're only, uh, Problem is,
42:25
Speaker 1: the only thing that they've done wrong is that they've
42:27
Speaker 1: left the country and they decided to move to America
42:30
Speaker 1: or Canada or whatever. Then how in the hell can
42:34
Speaker 1: you justify Andrew still drawing a stipend? Andrew signed off
42:40
Speaker 1: his last public statement announcing he was stepping back with
42:43
Speaker 1: His Royal Highness the Duke of York. Yet just a
42:46
Speaker 1: handful of months later, Harry and Meghan gave up the
42:49
Speaker 1: use of their HRH titles as they were no longer
42:52
Speaker 1: working to represent the Queen. So how can they justify this?
42:58
Speaker 1: How can the queen or the royal family or their
43:01
Speaker 1: handlers or anybody justify this? The people of England deserve better.
43:09
Speaker 1: The people of England do not want to pay for
43:12
Speaker 1: this man. Of that much, I am sure. The couple
43:18
Speaker 1: will also be paying for their staggering security costs in
43:21
Speaker 1: the U.S. through Prince Charles rather than using any royal expenditure. And,
43:27
Speaker 1: you know, look, again, I don't know much about Harry
43:31
Speaker 1: and Meghan Markle and all of the inner politics that
43:34
Speaker 1: surround them.
43:35
Speaker 3: But what I will say is this.
43:37
Speaker 1: I respect people that are willing to leave a situation
43:42
Speaker 1: such as being royalty and try and make it on
43:44
Speaker 1: their own. That stirs something within me. I like self-made people.
43:49
Speaker 1: I like people who have started at the bottom and
43:53
Speaker 1: built themselves up and get themselves to a place of success. Obviously,
43:58
Speaker 1: Meghan Markle and this Prince dude are not starting at
44:00
Speaker 1: the bottom. But I think it's a courageous thing to do.
44:04
Speaker 1: And I kind of respect that sort of hustle. Being
44:07
Speaker 1: able to tell the Queen and the royal family to
44:09
Speaker 1: get stuffed. We're going to do it on our own.
44:12
Speaker 1: You know, like old blue eyes said, I did it
44:14
Speaker 1: my way. The Home Office reportedly recommended downgrading Andrew's 300-pound-a-year
44:23
Speaker 1: armed guard after he stepped down back in January. Sources
44:28
Speaker 1: told the Evening Standard that bosses cannot write a blank
44:31
Speaker 1: check for anyone who does not have a public role
44:34
Speaker 1: in the foreseeable future. Makes a lot of sense, right?
44:37
Speaker 1: If he's not a working royal, then strip him of
44:40
Speaker 1: his guards. If the queen wants to pay for him
44:43
Speaker 1: to get a private security guard or something, then I
44:47
Speaker 1: guess whatever. But I know that if I was a
44:49
Speaker 1: taxpayer in England, I'd be going crazy over this.
44:53
Speaker 3: This would make me mental.
44:56
Speaker 1: However, it is not known whether Andrews still uses any
44:59
Speaker 1: protection officers.
45:01
Speaker 3: Back on the podcast, Mr. Scobie asked, Do.
45:04
Speaker 1: You think that it is a concerted effort from the
45:07
Speaker 1: palace to provide a layer of protection... Or is it
45:11
Speaker 1: that just comes with being the son of the current
45:13
Speaker 1: reigning monarch, regardless of who or what he has been
45:17
Speaker 1: involved with? Mr. Cawthorn replied, he is the queen's favorite. Obviously,
45:22
Speaker 1: she has a great deal of influence in this situation.
45:26
Speaker 3: And it's true. At the end of the day, she's
45:28
Speaker 3: the queen.
45:29
Speaker 1: If she wanted to put him in London Tower or
45:31
Speaker 1: whatever the hell they do to their royals, then hey,
45:34
Speaker 1: that's their business, right? But the queen mother and Andrew
45:38
Speaker 1: obviously have a very special relationship, and she's doing everything
45:43
Speaker 1: in her power to keep him from being completely disgraced,
45:47
Speaker 1: I guess you would say at this point, in hopes
45:49
Speaker 1: that she can insert him back into royal life at
45:52
Speaker 1: some point. I mean, you got to think as a mother,
45:55
Speaker 1: you want to think the best of your son, right?
45:57
Speaker 1: You want to think that the allegations brought against him
46:00
Speaker 1: are not true, that there's no way that it could occur.
46:04
Speaker 1: But in reality, you know, She has to understand that
46:10
Speaker 1: her son, Prince Andrew, is not the honorable man he
46:14
Speaker 1: says he is. He is not the good guy he
46:20
Speaker 1: portrays himself to be. And all you have to do
46:23
Speaker 1: is take a look at his associations and the people
46:25
Speaker 1: he ran with and the people that he broke bread with.
46:29
Speaker 1: And you'll start to get a better picture of the
46:32
Speaker 1: person Andrew truly is.
46:37
Speaker 3: But it's difficult.
46:38
Speaker 1: If they did make an announcement that he was dropping
46:40
Speaker 1: HRH and was taking no more of the taxpayer's money,
46:44
Speaker 1: then it just focuses the attention back on him. He
46:47
Speaker 1: claimed that the palace may have learned from his BBC
46:49
Speaker 1: Newsnight interview that it's best not to draw attention to it.
46:54
Speaker 1: Andrew's PR team declined to comment on the.
46:57
Speaker 3: Royals' titles. Yeah, you should expect to see a lot
47:01
Speaker 3: of that.
47:01
Speaker 2: In the coming weeks and months in future. No comment.
47:04
Speaker 1: Because at this point, it does them no good. What
47:07
Speaker 1: could they possibly gain from commenting about any of that?
47:10
Speaker 3: Nothing.
47:11
Speaker 1: So they're going to keep quiet. They're going to keep
47:13
Speaker 1: grinding behind the scenes. And of course, folks, we know
47:17
Speaker 1: what they're doing. They're not looking to vindicate their clients.
47:20
Speaker 1: They're simply looking for loopholes to help them wiggle off
47:25
Speaker 1: of the hook. If you'd like to contact me, you
