- 0:13Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the Hawkgirl Energy Podcast.
- 0:18I'm your host, Kaylee, and this is your weekly reminder that it's a
- 0:21new day, a new week, a new mindset, and another day if
- 0:24you to become the hawk Girl energy you want to attract. Hello you guys,
- 0:28Happy Tuesday. I am feeling so cozy right now. It is the
- 0:35gloomiest day to day, just very cloudy, not raining, but just gloomy.
- 0:39And I just lit my first fall candle, the Velesva spiced pumpkin latte,
- 0:46and it smells so good, you guys. And I just put on
- 0:51a fall jacket because my host, for some reason, is freezing gold.
- 0:55So I'm just feeling very cozy this morning, just being in my kitchen recording
- 1:00this podcast. And as we all know, we're going into a new season,
- 1:04so my house is officially decorated for fall, kind of Halloween as well,
- 1:10because I have a few ghosts in here. And yeah, it's just
- 1:14very very Halloween slash fall vibes. But you guys know, based on my
- 1:19last episode, if you guys haven't listened, definitely give it a listen because
- 1:23it will definitely get you in the fall mood. But it's good to just
- 1:26put little fall decorations in your home. I think it gets you excited for
- 1:30the season. And obviously summer ending could be sad for some people, but
- 1:34we can make fall exciting by making it exciting by adding cute little things in
- 1:41your home, in your bedroom. Like my sister, she doesn't have a
- 1:44house, but she decorated her whole room. We went back to home since
- 1:48again. I went to home since for probably the fourth time on Sunday with
- 1:52my sister to help her get some decorations for her room. But it was
- 1:55such a fun little day, getting coffee, going to get fall stuff and
- 1:57all that, just making a fun little day out of it and getting people
- 2:00excited for fall. Like I am a fall girl. I do love the
- 2:04fall season, but some people may not. But if you want to get
- 2:06yourself into a fun mood and get into the false spirit, I definitely recommend
- 2:10just getting little things for your room or your home just to make you feel
- 2:15more fall inspired. So, as you can see by the titles episode,
- 2:19we are going to be doing a fall reset and almost kind of like a
- 2:22fall glow up. Sometimes people want to take the opportunity of reaching their goals
- 2:27or just resetting their life. So I'm going to share some tips on what
- 2:31you can do for this new season that we're approaching and just feel like you're
- 2:37going to get your shit together this season. So let's talk a bit about
- 2:40a fall glow up. I'm gonna make this one short because I'm just going
- 2:45to share some of the things I've been doing personally right now going into a
- 2:49new season four fall. But a lot of these things I'm also doing because
- 2:53as my engagement part of this weekend, as you guys know, the big
- 2:55weekend. I have been so busy this week going to all these last of
- 3:00appointments, last minute pickups for things that we need for the party and all
- 3:04that. So if you guys want to follow my glow up series, I'm
- 3:07doing a glow up series on TikTok where I just share all the appointments that
- 3:10I'm doing just to make me feel my best for this weekend. Again,
- 3:15all the things that I'm doing are definitely not something you have to do or
- 3:17spend your money on. These are just things I'm personally doing, and I
- 3:22like to watch those kind of videos. I'm always just like interested on what
- 3:24people do to make themselves feel their most confident self. So these are just
- 3:30some of the things that I am doing to make me feel my best for
- 3:34this exciting weekend ahead. And definitely make sure to follow my socials guys if
- 3:38you want to follow along. I'm going to be recording everything. I've made
- 3:43it a priority to really make it feel like you guys are going to be
- 3:46a part of this weekend with me. It's going to be so much fun.
- 3:50And the content might be uploaded later, like after the weekend, just
- 3:53because I don't think i'll have time to edit everything in the moment obviously,
- 3:58because I really want to variance everything and just be present. So I will
- 4:02be filming lots of lots of content, but I probably won't be up until
- 4:08Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of next week, so just definitely make sure to
- 4:11follow me. I will have all my handles down below if you guys don't.
- 4:14But the first thing that I did for my little fall glow up was
- 4:17book a hair appointment. I feel like this is always necessary, especially after
- 4:21the summertime. I feel like the sun obviously plays a huge factor in some
- 4:26people's hair color. I feel like with blondes and can get really brassy.
- 4:29I feel like for brunettes, you know, kind of the same thing.
- 4:31I guess there's a bit of a brass to it because the sun obviously lightens
- 4:35the hair, which honestly isn't a bad thing if you like lighter hair.
- 4:39But you know, when you think of the fall season, everyone immediately thinks,
- 4:43go dark, Let's go darker, let's get that you know, dark
- 4:46brunette brown that everybody loves. I purposely didn't book a hair dye appointment.
- 4:51I just booked a trim and long layers, which layers for fall I think
- 4:57is so great. Honestly, I think layers for any ti this season is
- 5:00great. I personally love the way my hair looks with long layers, so
- 5:04every time I got to get my hair cut done, I ask for long
- 5:06face framing layers and my bangs in the front of my face, I ask
- 5:11for chin length, so I make sure that she cuts it around my chin
- 5:15or jawline, so my bangs are not too short, not too long,
- 5:18but they're really easy to style and also throw back in a slid ponytail,
- 5:21because you guys know, I love my ponytail looks, so that's personally what
- 5:26I ask for. When I get my hair done. But typically I do
- 5:29like to go darker for the fall in winter season, but I'm waiting until
- 5:32it gets less hot because if you guys are like me, we are experiencing
- 5:38a massive heat wave here in Ottawa in September. I feel like September is
- 5:43always very interesting when it comes to the weather, and I'm not complaining.
- 5:46I will never say no to heat. Honestly, I'd rather be a more
- 5:49humid day than a freezing cold winter day, so I will take it.
- 5:53But yeah, it's been a heat wave here in Ottawa and I just personally
- 5:57don't see it worth getting my hair dyed darker when the sun is just gonna
- 6:01lighten up my hair and then I'm gonna have to touch it up in a
- 6:04few months. So personally, for me, I'm waiting to go darker once
- 6:09the sun isn't as strong, So that will probably be a end of October
- 6:13November booking. But yeah, I think it's fun to change your hair up.
- 6:17If you want to change things up, it's nice to get a trim
- 6:20or even go short, go dark, go light, whatever you prefer.
- 6:24But sometimes it's nice to change things up going into a new season or going
- 6:28into an event or anything like that. So personally, for me, I
- 6:31personally just got long layers, got some trims. She toned it down a
- 6:34bit as well. You can use a toner as well. She did a
- 6:38bit of a toner on my hair just to keep it somewhat maintained for the
- 6:42next few weeks until I go back to go a bit darker. So that's
- 6:46something I always find is essential, is just kind of getting a refresh of
- 6:49your hair. I do find hair makes a big difference in your physical appearance,
- 6:55and like I said, it's just nice to change things up sometimes.
- 6:58Okay, next, I talked about this in My Life episode. But you
- 7:00guys know, getting your nails done is essential for me specifically, Like I
- 7:04love getting my nails done. There's something about getting your nails done that just
- 7:08boost your confidence so much. In my opinion, I feel like if I
- 7:11don't have nice nails, it is a note for me. It just can't
- 7:14do it. So I personally had to get my nails done. I didn't
- 7:16go dark yet because again engagement party have to make them bridal. So I
- 7:21just did a classic French and yeah, so I think you guys should go
- 7:26dark for fall though, as I said in my last episode, it's so
- 7:29fun to change things up and just do things based on the season. I
- 7:30find it makes things more exciting. So if you haven't booked nail appointments,
- 7:35I definitely recommend doing that. Okay, so next I booked a eyebrow appointment.
- 7:40I find eyebrows make a huge difference on your face when they're freshly done.
- 7:44There's something about that feeling where when they're freshly done, I just find
- 7:46it makes a huge difference in my face. It honestly might be because of
- 7:49my eyebrows shape. I have really thick eyebrows, So personally, when I
- 7:53find I get my eyebrows done, it makes a huge difference. But for
- 7:56some people they may not need to go that extreme. I've talked about getting
- 8:00brow emanation done and all that, but I'm definitely waiting to do that after
- 8:03the engagement party. It's a big change to do for an event, you
- 8:07know what I mean. Like, I feel like that's something that you can
- 8:11do, like in the winter season. That way, if you don't like
- 8:13it, you can just hibernate. But I'm sure I'm going to love it.
- 8:16Everyone like does brow emination says amazing things about it, so I'm sure
- 8:20I will love it. I just really didn't want to take the risk before
- 8:24my engagement party to do that, but I hear brow emanation is really good
- 8:26as well. But anyways, I just got to clean up. I just
- 8:28touched them up and yeah, they turned out really, really nice. And
- 8:31then my last appointment that I'm doing, so these are just the four things
- 8:35that I'm doing in prep for an event is a spray tan. I do
- 8:39still have a tan from obviously being in the sun this past summer, but
- 8:43I want it to be a bit more intense, especially for photos and all
- 8:48that. I feel like you could never go wrong with a good tan.
- 8:50So I'm going to see my girl bright or by Brett. If you guys
- 8:54are in Ottawa, I'm going to give you guys a discount code. It's
- 8:56Kaylee ten. If you live in Ottawa, just say you were referred by
- 9:00me and she will give you ten percent off your spray tan. Anyways,
- 9:03I just thought I would highlight that because I had a few of you guys
- 9:05message me asking me where I go, and I go to Brighter Bite Britt
- 9:09She's amazing and yeah, so I have that booked and I'm excited just to
- 9:13have a good glow before the event. So those are just things I'm doing.
- 9:18Obviously, I've done other episodes where I go more into detail about a
- 9:22whole glow up or maintenance appointments and all that. So definitely make sure to
- 9:24check out my other episodes if you guys want more ideas on what you can
- 9:28do to pamper yourself or glow up or anything like that. But those are
- 9:31just things that I'm doing before my event. I would say those are like
- 9:33my essential things that I always do before any big event. But yeah,
- 9:39that's everything I'm doing this week. Okay, so now let's get into a
- 9:43fall reset. Let's talk about resetting our life for this new season. The
- 9:48first thing I want to talk about is something that I make a non negotiable
- 9:52whenever I go into a new month or a new season, and that is
- 9:58refreshing your goals. Writing down monthly goals. I think goals are so important.
- 10:03You guys know that. I think it really helps keep yourself motivated and
- 10:09makes you feel good knowing that you're able to achieve something for yourself. And
- 10:13one thing that I think is important to take into this new season is I
- 10:18think it's important to reflect on what you did this summer. Write down things
- 10:22that you really enjoyed this summer, things that made you smile, things that
- 10:26you are going to miss about this past summer, because going into the next
- 10:28summer, it might be something to look back at and you know, do
- 10:33for yourself. Like if one thing I can think of on the top of
- 10:35my head is that I really enjoyed, you know, taking more time with
- 10:37Zach and doing more adventurous dates like going to the beach and having pizza and
- 10:43going to a winery and having you know, some wine together, like not
- 10:46just having a typical date night at home where we cook your own food,
- 10:48like just getting out of the house and doing something unique and fun, and
- 10:52like, that's something that I'm going to remember this summer, is just having
- 10:54spontaneous, fun date nights with him, And that's something I'm going to want
- 10:58to look back at for next summer and be like, Okay, what did
- 11:01I do last summer that was super fun that I want to do this summer,
- 11:03or you know, just something even more adventurous like that, Right,
- 11:07So, I think it's important to reflect on this past summer and write down
- 11:11all the fun things you did, and another thing I think you should do
- 11:13if you were that kind of person that created a vision board this past year.
- 11:18So you started a vision board twenty twenty three year, this is your
- 11:22sign to look back at everything that you have achieved for yourself based on that
- 11:26vision board. I think I mentioned it maybe last month that I actually looked
- 11:31back at My vision Board's currently actually my laptop screen saver, so I'm looking
- 11:35at that right now, and it's also my lock screen on my iPhone wallpaper
- 11:39background. And what I love about having these as my backgrounds is that I'm
- 11:43constantly looking at it, and it's not something that I really focus on,
- 11:48but my eyes are always seeing these Pinterest images that I saved and all that,
- 11:50And I can honestly say there is probably fifty percent of the things that
- 11:54I've already achieved in myself. And we're already nine months into the year.
- 11:58So it's really important to look how far you've came these past nine months of
- 12:01everything that you wanted to achieve yourself and figure out, Okay, what do
- 12:05I have to do within these next few months that would make me feel good
- 12:09ending twenty twenty three off. So that's actually crazy to say that we've already
- 12:13been nine months into twenty twenty three, like that blows my mind. But
- 12:16I think it's a good opportunity to also look back at everything that you've achieved
- 12:20so far, because I think that's also a good way to motivate yourself to
- 12:26achieve other goals for yourself. And you know, a lot of you are
- 12:28probably going back to school and so this is also a good opportunity for you
- 12:31to set new goals for the school year. And obviously, as I said,
- 12:35going into a new season, this is also the perfect opportunity to set
- 12:37new goals for yourself. So definitely take the opportunity to write down the goals
- 12:43that you want to achieve for yourself, reflect on your summer, and review
- 12:46your twenty twenty three vision board. And like I said, if you're going
- 12:48into a new school season or a new season in general, write down things
- 12:54that you want to achieve for yourself. Okay, next is daily journaling.
- 12:58You guys know that I always, always, always love to journal, and
- 13:03I think this kind of ties into the refresh your goals because a lot of
- 13:07the time while I'm journaling, I'm still writing down goals for myself. But
- 13:11I'm also writing down things that I'm grateful for, and I think it's important
- 13:15to realize what we are so grateful for and to think about the little things
- 13:20like your family, your friends, your loved ones. You guys, like
- 13:24just like little things like that. I think it's so important to appreciate.
- 13:28And yeah, I just love journaling so much. I just love doing that
- 13:31in the morning. I find it's just like the perfect way to start the
- 13:35day. Okay, another thing you're going to do for a little reset is
- 13:37add one new healthy habit into your routine. There's always things that we can
- 13:43improve on. There's always things that we can include into our routine. And
- 13:46something that I have mentioned to you guys that I'm honestly still working on.
- 13:50I'm not going to say I'm a pro at it, because I definitely think
- 13:52it's something that you need to ease into your routine. Like no routine is
- 13:58perfect for anybody, And obviously we always go through ups and downs, and
- 14:01that's totally okay. And I always love to be transparent with you guys,
- 14:05because you know, I'm not perfect. Nobody's perfect. And one thing that
- 14:11I've been really trying to work on is my night routine. My night routine,
- 14:13I find, has always been never something that I fully prioritize. I
- 14:18feel like I've really mastered my morning routine, but my night routine is definitely
- 14:22something that I haven't And one thing that I have been trying to add as
- 14:26a healthy habit is meditating. Meditating is something that I have really been trying
- 14:31to prioritize. I think everybody experiences stress in their own way when it comes
- 14:35to school, work, anything like that, personal life, and I definitely
- 14:39feel like meditating is something that can really help ease stress. And so meditating
- 14:46is something that I've really wanted to include into my night routine and not gonna
- 14:48lie, I haven't been very consistent with it. I want to say I've
- 14:52been trying to do it like once a week, but my goal is to
- 14:54obviously do it every single night. So that is something I'm still working on.
- 14:58That's definitely something that I want to improve on for this new fall season.
- 15:03I think lighting a candle, doing it at night right before bed,
- 15:07just really like creating a whole vibe out of it is really going to motivate
- 15:11me to become someone who meditates. And yeah, that's just something that I've
- 15:16been really trying to push myself to really get into my routine. And another
- 15:20thing to include into your routine if you're looking for ideas for healthy habits is
- 15:24supplements, and this is the perfect opportunity to bring our sponsor for today's episode.
- 15:31I wanted to say a huge thank you to ag One for sponsoring today's
- 15:35episode. You guys know I've loved this brand for such a long time now,

- 15:54many vitamins in the morning, and to be honest, I didn't have much
- 15:58knowledge on what I was taking, what are the benefits. I didn't have
- 16:00a good routine when it came to my supplements and vitamin intake. It's hard
- 16:06to know where to start when it comes to taking supplements. So when I
- 16:10discovered ag one, I found all the benefits to taking it and knew it
- 16:12was meant for me. It supports gut health recovery, focus, aging,

- 17:04Hawk roll Energy to check out. Okay, let's go into the next one.
- 17:11This one, you guys know, I love doing whenever it comes to
- 17:14a new month, a new week, a new season, and that is
- 17:17resetting your home. I love to do a deep clean probably once every two
- 17:22weeks of my entire home. I just find it makes the house feel so
- 17:26much more homeier. When there's a nice, clean home, I feel less
- 17:32stressed. I feel like it's more enjoyable to be in your home when it's
- 17:36nice and clean. So I always, always, always make that a big
- 17:38priority. So if you're that kind of person where you always feel like you
- 17:41just don't want to clean and you don't want to do it, I'm telling
- 17:44you right now, it's so important to push yourself to just get a bit
- 17:47of cleaning done, vacuum dust organized. It's going to make you feel so
- 17:51much better going into your room or going into your home. And also,
- 17:55as I mentioned in the beginning of this episode, I decorated my entire house
- 17:57with all these cute little Fall decre items, and honestly, it made the
- 18:02home feels so much more different and new in a good way. It changes
- 18:06up the scenery a bit, and it actually feels exciting and more homey and
- 18:11more cozy knowing that there's some candles lit, there's some cute little pumpkins everywhere,
- 18:15all that, and it just gets you more into the Fall mood and
- 18:18spirit. So if you want to just make your home feel a bit more
- 18:22homier and a bit more refreshed. I also recommend getting a few home decre
- 18:27fall pieces just to make little changes and get you more excited for the fall
- 18:32season. And it's amazing how small changes like that can make such a big
- 18:36difference. And yeah, so I think it's just important to set time aside
- 18:40on your Sunday or on whatever day you're off, and just take an hour
- 18:44to yourself to organize, clean and get your house all reset. Because when
- 18:48your house is clean, your mindset is completely clear. And I just feel
- 18:52less stressed, I feel less anxious. I just feel like I'm where I'm
- 18:56supposed to be, and I feel motivated to take on the next thing.
- 19:00I'm like, Okay, what's next, what else can I do to reset
- 19:02this house? Let's reorganize the entire pantry. Like I just get in a
- 19:04zone whenever I'm like cleaning and organizing and I just don't want to stop.
- 19:08So definitely try and find the motivation and time to reset your home. Give
- 19:14it a good clean, and I'm telling you right now you will feel so
- 19:17good after doing that. This next one also could fall into a resetting your
- 19:22home is change up your betting. I don't know why, but I feel
- 19:26like it's fun to also change up your betting to match the fall season.
- 19:30So right now, I have a white duvet cover, and I've actually been
- 19:36wanting to do a darker tope color because I think it would look really really
- 19:38good in my all white room. I feel like I need to break up
- 19:41the white and add a bit more darker contrast. And I also think for
- 19:45the fall season, it's a perfect opportunity to change things up. As I
- 19:48said, so going with darker colors in your home and just trying to make
- 19:52it a bit more homey. So if you're someone that's been wanting to change
- 19:56up their room and just try something new, I think maybe changing up your
- 20:00betting could be something that could create more excitement and exciting change for your space.
- 20:07This one that I'm about to say is something that I have been wanting
- 20:11to do for so long, but I just feel like I haven't had the
- 20:14time to do it. But I'm telling you right now, October First,
- 20:18I am doing this decluttering the spaces you have been avoiding. Everybody listening to
- 20:22this episode, I bet has one or two spaces that they can think in
- 20:26their home or in their bedrooms that they've completely avoided for who knows how many
- 20:30months, how many years, that they're like, I should probably organize this,
- 20:33or I should probably actually spend the time cleaning all this. So I
- 20:37can think of so many spots on my home right now, like my utensil
- 20:41drawer in my kitchen, underneath my bathroom sink. I need to spend the
- 20:48time decluttering that. I need to donate stuff that I don't use or throw
- 20:52away things that are just for no use for anyone. I need to get
- 20:56organizers from Amazon or if you have a container store near you. It's going
- 21:00to feel so good decluttering the space and just re setting that entire drawer or
- 21:07under the cabinet or anything like that. I am making it a priority for
- 21:11October to be an organized girly, Like I just need to do that.
- 21:17I literally organized my bathroom drawers last weekend randomly, like it was just a
- 21:23random thing, Like I just opened my drawer and I'm like, oh my
- 21:26god, I need to organize this. So I literally spent like forty five
- 21:27minutes just like organizing everything I had already the Amazon like clear containers, just
- 21:33to like separate my toothbrush, my hairbrush, like all that, just like
- 21:36all separated in my drawers and it felt so good to do that. And
- 21:41going into this weekend, obviously I don't have time to do that, and
- 21:44then I'm off for my trip. So I'm making October a priority to be
- 21:48an organized girl. So this is your sign that if you have a bunch
- 21:52of spaces in your home that you need to declutter, it's so so important
- 21:56to actually take the time to do it. I know it seems like such
- 21:57a big task, but I'm telling right now it's going to feel so good
- 22:00doing it. And one thing for me, I always feel like I get
- 22:03so much PR obviously, and it gets kind of all piled up, and
- 22:07so what I do is I usually try and go through it every month,
- 22:11and I try and donate to like my family or my friends. And I've
- 22:14also been putting stuff aside to do a big giveaway with you guys. So
- 22:18it's going to be a few months until I do it. It's stay tuned
- 22:19for that. So I've definitely been saving stuff for you guys as well.
- 22:22But I always get a bunch of PR, so obviously it feels very like
- 22:26cluttered, and it feels like there's too much in the space. If that
- 22:30makes sense like it's just overwhelming, and yeah, I just like to get
- 22:36rid of it and give it to people that are actually going to use it
- 22:37instead of just like sitting in a drawer. So that's definitely something that I
- 22:41have been planning to go through and donate and give away and all that.
- 22:45So yeah, anyways, another thing you could do also when it comes to
- 22:48like decluttering things, is going through your phone and like deleting old apps,
- 22:55old photos, all that. Same thing with your laptop, going through it,
- 22:57just like deleting old file and all that. That is definitely something that
- 23:00I always ignore and don't want to do. You guys, do not want
- 23:04to know how many photos and videos are on my phone. I had to
- 23:07pay for more storage just to allow my phone to actually function. It's actually
- 23:12crazy, And yeah, that's just the reality of my job. It's fine.
- 23:17I mean, I can obviously pay for extra storage because it's my job.
- 23:21I can consider that a work expense. But anyways, I really need
- 23:23to actually do that. So two things that I'm prioritizing on my plane ride
- 23:27to my trip is going through my phone and reading my book. Those are
- 23:33my two goals. So anyways, this is your sign that if you also
- 23:36haven't gone through your phone, and you need to do it because that will
- 23:38also feel really really good. Okay. Another thing for a fall reset or
- 23:42just a reset in general, is sticking to a bedtime schedule. I always
- 23:47fine waking up at the same time every single morning, going to bed at
- 23:49the same time every single night feels very structured, like I feel like I'm
- 23:53in my routine. I'm feeling good. So personally, for me, I
- 23:56go to bed at nine thirty ten every single and I wake up at like
- 24:00six thirty seven. If I'm waking up up five o'clock in the morning or
- 24:06five thirty. I've been actually trying to get into a five o'clock morning routine.
- 24:11If you guys follow me on socialte you guys would know that. But
- 24:12it's definitely not easy and it's definitely something I'm challenging myself to do. Some
- 24:18people are like, why are you doing this, Like you have such a
- 24:18flexible job, And to be honest, I'm doing this more so just to
- 24:22challenge myself because I think it's something to see if I could actually you do
- 24:29it, because I do genuinely enjoy doing my five am morning routines. Not
- 24:33gonna lie, I wake up at five thirty and I like, curse my
- 24:36name. I'm like, why did I think this was a good idea?
- 24:37Like why am I going to do a workout class at you know, seven
- 24:41o'clock in the morning. Whatever. But every time I do my five m
- 24:45morning routine and I'm done everything by like nine thirty, I'm like, wow,
- 24:49Like why do I not do this every single morning? Like it feels
- 24:52so good, so so good. So if you're a five am girl that
- 24:56does it every single morning, go you. You are amazing. I would
- 25:00love to be like that, and I need to try and become like that.
- 25:02And that is why I'm challenging myself to do this challenge that I'm doing.
- 25:06So, yeah, that's something that I've been challenging myself is waking up
- 25:08five am. But for a realistic, like consistent bedtime routine for me is
- 25:15going to bed at ten and waking up at six thirty. So that's basically
- 25:18my consistent routine that I wake up every single morning, go to bed every
- 25:22single night. And yeah, it just feels very routine, Like it feels
- 25:25very structured, and I like it, like I feel good having it consistent
- 25:29bedtime schedule so if you're the kind of person that struggles waking up early in
- 25:33the morning, I definitely recommend trying to have an earlier bedtime. So yeah,
- 25:37I think it's important to make your bedtime schedule a priority. Okay,
- 25:41Next is more for going into the colder season. We are getting there soon,
- 25:45so it's important to prep our skincare for the colder months. So it's
- 25:51important to pull out heavier moisturizer and oils, especially if you're the kind of
- 25:56person that has super dry skin like myself. I have been experiencing extremely dry
- 26:00skin lately. And I've always had dry skin, but like to the point
- 26:03where I had to go to the doctors and get a prescribed cream because my
- 26:07skin has been so dry. And I found out the reason why it's been
- 26:11so dry, and that's because of being on a plane. Being on a
- 26:15plane dries out your skin so much. And so going on my trip in
- 26:19a few days, to be honest, I am going to pack my skincare
- 26:23products in a toilet tree bag like in my carry on that are under the
- 26:30mills that you can bring through security. And I'm probably going to bring a
- 26:33face mask as well, because I can't get over how dry my skin was,
- 26:38and now I have to get prescribed cream for it because it was so
- 26:41dry. So this is your sign, ladies, that it's important to get
- 26:45heavy moisturizer for the colder mind, especially if you're like me who has really
- 26:48dry skin. It's so important to take care of our skin. So that
- 26:52is something that I have already honestly pulled out of my cabinet as I'm already
- 26:56using my winter skincare products just because of what I'm experiencing right now. But
- 27:00yeah, I'm definitely going to be bringing face masks and all that for the
- 27:03plane ride. That way, I don't have to deal with it in the
- 27:07location that I'm going. But anyways, I definitely think it's important to refresh
- 27:11your skincare make sure that everything is good to go for the colder months.
- 27:18Okay, lastly you're going to do to reset for the fall season is give
- 27:22yourself a self care day, whether that's taking a day off, going to
- 27:26your favorite coffee shop, going on a long walk, maybe hitting up your
- 27:30favorite store, do a bit of shopping, book a massage or a facial,
- 27:34anything like that. Just have a me day. Or if you're someone
- 27:37that likes to do absolutely nothing on their day off. Light your favorite fall
- 27:41candle, put your favorite movie on, drink tea or hot chocolate or a
- 27:45pumpkin spice latte, whatever you prefer, but just have a day off.
- 27:49Give yourself a self care day. Whether it's putting on a mask at home,
- 27:52as I said, or going to get a facial or going to get
- 27:55a massage. It's important to put things aside and just have a day to
- 28:00yourself, just to destress or anything like that. So yeah, I think
- 28:03everybody needs a me day once a month. I think that should be a
- 28:07rule for anyone that works or is in school. Everyone should have a day
- 28:11off, like one day a week and just have like a me day.
- 28:14I mean, I guess you could do it on the weekend, but I
- 28:15think that should be a rule, just because I think self care is so
- 28:18so important. But that is just some tips on how to reset for a
- 28:22new season and just some things that I've been doing to glow up for my
- 28:27engagement party but also for the new fall season. So I hope you guys
