- 1:27Speaker 1: you may be familiar with. Two people I'm actively trying
- 1:30Speaker 1: to remove from my life, are going to be performing
- 1:32Speaker 1: a song with my friend James Girard. The song is
- 1:34Speaker 1: the theme song, and I'm vaguely aware of what they're doing,
- 1:39Speaker 1: and it seems like it's going to be spectacular. The

- 2:14Speaker 1: I'm Bridger Weineger. We're here in the studio. I got
- 2:20Speaker 1: here just moments ago. Usually I try to get here,
- 2:23Speaker 1: you know, at least ten to fifteen minutes before, but
- 2:25Speaker 1: I wasted my time this morning, absolutely wasted it, and
- 2:29Speaker 1: so I'm just arriving. You know, I just got off
- 2:32Speaker 1: the freeway, so in a lot of ways, I'm still
- 2:33Speaker 1: going seventy three miles per hour. If you can feel
- 2:36Speaker 1: that energy. What else is going on? The live show
- 2:41Speaker 1: is uh August twenty second. Hopefully you're listening to this
- 2:46Speaker 1: before that. It's a Dynasty typewriter, or you can live
- 2:49Speaker 1: stream it. Do whatever you want, but you have to
- 2:52Speaker 1: do one of those two things. There's no third option.
- 2:55Speaker 1: M it's Monday as we're recording this. What happened over
- 2:59Speaker 1: the weekend, and I bought some storage bins and cleaned
- 3:03Speaker 1: out my closet. Now the good Will bag is sitting
- 3:05Speaker 1: in my car, so I look forward to that being
- 3:08Speaker 1: in there for the next two to three years. We'll
- 3:10Speaker 1: see how long it takes me to get there. But
- 3:12Speaker 1: there are some good items in it. There's some good
- 3:15Speaker 1: clothing and a few board games. So beyond the lookout
- 3:18Speaker 1: at Goodwill and I think, I think that's everything. That's
- 3:22Speaker 1: that's my life. I'm just so unbelievably thrilled about today's guest.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I think he's so funny. It's Pete's eyes, Pete welcomed,
- 3:31Speaker 1: I said, no gifts.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Well, thank you for having me.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Oh, I'm so happy. I have obviously learned a view
- 3:36Speaker 1: through Instagram because you're the only good thing left on
- 3:40Speaker 1: the service than you, and recently you've you've had a
- 3:45Speaker 1: lubooboo situation.
- 3:49Speaker 3: I have a victim of a labooboo crime, a kidnapped bing.
- 3:55Speaker 1: What happened you? You've got one?
- 3:56Speaker 3: A few weeks ago, I was gifted one, okay by friend,
- 4:01Speaker 3: well because I was, I was getting sucked in by
- 4:04Speaker 3: the whole la booboo craze talking about it on filming
- 4:07Speaker 3: the you know segments on television, off the off my television,
- 4:11Speaker 3: and you know it was like a friend of a
- 4:13Speaker 3: friend and they sent me the laboo boo and I
- 4:16Speaker 3: was so excited. I did they want me to do
- 4:18Speaker 3: an unboxing over on Instagram Live, So I did. Three
- 4:22Speaker 3: days later, I go to Vonn's, the one across the
- 4:26Speaker 3: street from the Vista Theater.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, of course I know that Vonn's very well, it.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Used to be nice. Now it's unhinged.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I know where the bathroom is and everything. Well, did
- 4:35Speaker 1: you see a la boo boom in there? A green
- 4:37Speaker 1: la boo boo? I went.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I went to a Fourth of July to get fried
- 4:41Speaker 3: chicken to take over my friend Drew's house for a
- 4:43Speaker 3: little or uh you know, Fourth of July affair. I'm
- 4:47Speaker 3: waiting in line, I get out of line. I go
- 4:50Speaker 3: to Starbucks and I looked down Starbucks. That's inside them,
- 4:53Speaker 3: of course, inside the bonds, and my laboo is off,
- 4:57Speaker 3: gone off my bag and just the little key is
- 4:59Speaker 3: still so there.
- 5:00Speaker 1: And you didn't feel the tug or anything.
- 5:02Speaker 3: No, but there was a guy. It was There was
- 5:03Speaker 3: a guy that asked me if I could pick a
- 5:06Speaker 3: basket up off the ground. I think it was you know,
- 5:09Speaker 3: I think it was him because he wasn't in line.
- 5:11Speaker 3: He started sort of cut in line and that because
- 5:14Speaker 3: that's how people when they steal, they distracted.
- 5:17Speaker 1: They distract.
- 5:18Speaker 3: That's what I do.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Me too. Yeah, I asked somebody for directions on their
- 5:23Speaker 1: phone and then I'm looking at it and I'm running
- 5:25Speaker 1: off that kind of pickpocket. Wow, so you bent over
- 5:29Speaker 1: he just snatched it off and was gone, do you
- 5:31Speaker 1: And wow, that's crazy to actually have seen your the perpetrator.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I look like his name was Mark Jacobs, the designer,
- 5:40Speaker 3: because Mark Jacobs has been seen carrying.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Lots of he has so many he has those very.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Long fingernails, fake fingernails, so it's perfect for like cutting
- 5:48Speaker 3: off labuobus from your purse.
- 5:50Speaker 1: He's a saspect. But then and It was kind of
- 5:53Speaker 1: tragic because it was such an incredible thing for in
- 5:56Speaker 1: your life. It was there and now it's gone, But
- 5:58Speaker 1: now you've gotten how many new ones?
- 5:59Speaker 3: Well because of that, I made a video like I
- 6:02Speaker 3: was just shot in the Vaughn's parking lot and a
- 6:07Speaker 3: group fitness instructor named Isaac Boots he does like Kelly
- 6:10Speaker 3: Rippa okay in the East Coast. He sent me a
- 6:13Speaker 3: box of six and I have them everywhere.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Now do you wear them out? I wear them?
- 6:19Speaker 3: I wear two at a time.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Are you nervous when you're wearing them?
- 6:22Speaker 3: But now I don't put them on my back because
- 6:24Speaker 3: it was my purse. Right now, I wear them on
- 6:28Speaker 3: my the loop of my belt.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Of my Somebody would have to be pretty bold to just.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Well, now I want them to touch me there. I'm
- 6:35Speaker 3: desperate for someone to come towards Yes, yeah, no, I
- 6:40Speaker 3: wear like two at a time.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Okay, And you're just rotating throughout. Have you ever gotten
- 6:44Speaker 1: into a fan like this before or is this a
- 6:47Speaker 1: new thing? Oh?
- 6:48Speaker 3: I've always get into all the hippos, trendies, new things.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Of course you're on top of it all. Well, that's
- 6:53Speaker 3: why I wanted to have one I mean, I want
- 6:54Speaker 3: to be a part of the craze. You know, I'm
- 6:57Speaker 3: I'm nineteen.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Whatever I am. You're caught up in the college crazy nature.
- 7:04Speaker 3: I want to be like you know, I want to
- 7:06Speaker 3: be jealous this summer, and they are, and they are.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I'm jealous of you. I got that like a couple
- 7:12Speaker 1: of episodesisodes ago, Daniel Schneider brought that it's lafu Fou.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I don't know if you're familiar with la f I'm
- 7:19Speaker 1: gonna steal it. I would love for you to steal this.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I did. I was not aware of anything about them,
- 7:26Speaker 1: essentially until you started talking about them. That's fine, knocking the.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Sets a lot of energy with this love like a of.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Course, of course, yeah, I didn't know anything about them.
- 7:41Speaker 1: And now I like that they're everywhere.
- 7:44Speaker 3: They're everywhere. The guy who invented them is like a billionaire.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Is there? Like there's one man who invented them.
- 7:49Speaker 3: I believe that he's a Chinese billionaire.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Now wow. And then he just got in touch with
- 7:54Speaker 1: whoever this brand is. It's a hot pot mark. And
- 7:58Speaker 1: then I wonder how they do you have any how
- 8:00Speaker 1: they initially took off or was it just suddenly everywhere.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I don't know how to.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Initially took off because I just think, you know, when
- 8:06Speaker 3: you get them, you don't know what you're getting, right,
- 8:08Speaker 3: So I think people are like, oh, I have this
- 8:09Speaker 3: one by, I need this. I have all of them
- 8:12Speaker 3: or almost all of them, every color by this one.
- 8:15Speaker 3: So they're like, there's that's why someone stole mine. I
- 8:17Speaker 3: got a lot of messages from people saying mine was
- 8:19Speaker 3: stolen to mine was stolen to it's a crime ring.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Because you know it's a crime. It's a crime wave.
- 8:27Speaker 3: People want these laboo boos. And then someone trying to
- 8:31Speaker 3: act like they were going to be really nice to
- 8:32Speaker 3: me and give me one, and I found out later
- 8:34Speaker 3: it was a lat fufo.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Somebody gave you a laf.
- 8:37Speaker 3: They almost they did it. Oh, I got out of
- 8:40Speaker 3: the situation in time.
- 8:42Speaker 1: How did you determine it was a laff?
- 8:43Speaker 3: Somebody told me.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Somebody else stepped in to help you.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Yeah, because they gifted that person.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Okay, would you have been able to tell that was
- 8:53Speaker 1: a lafufu?
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah, because their heads, the real of the real of
- 8:57Speaker 3: labooboos heads don't turn.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Which it feels like a flaw in the prize exactly.
- 9:02Speaker 3: You would want one that the head tie.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Yeah, that can really do it all. Wow. I didn't
- 9:06Speaker 1: realize that they're counting.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Teeth well, because they say the real Leabooboo's teeth are nine.
- 9:11Speaker 1: And how many is on that ten? Wow?
- 9:14Speaker 3: This is not real.
- 9:16Speaker 1: This does not insulting to both of us. It's interesting
- 9:21Speaker 1: that they go that far to counterfeit it, but they
- 9:23Speaker 1: don't get a few minor details that would probably be
- 9:27Speaker 1: it would probably be cheaper for its head to not
- 9:29Speaker 1: move exactly and just take one tooth off. So they're
- 9:32Speaker 1: going the extra mile.
- 9:34Speaker 3: It doesn't make any sense that the l FIFA is
- 9:36Speaker 3: actually better made than the La Boo.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Boo, right, right, But I guess that they're the same costs.
- 9:41Speaker 1: And you kind of don't know because Danielle, who gave
- 9:44Speaker 1: it to me, she just bought it thinking it was
- 9:46Speaker 1: a La Boo Boo.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Ah, she was swindled.
- 9:49Speaker 1: But then the package is exactly like a La booboo.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Everything about it is like a labooboo. You open it
- 9:54Speaker 1: like a bag of potato chips, you know, which is
- 9:56Speaker 1: so satisfying.
- 9:58Speaker 3: I have trouble about those bags.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Well, I wonder if now this is interesting because I've
- 10:03Speaker 1: only ever opened a La fu fou bag, so it
- 10:05Speaker 1: might have been easier, Yeah, because it's just kind of
- 10:07Speaker 1: popped open, like doris are very difficult. Yeah, it seems
- 10:11Speaker 1: like you have to like there's like a little tab
- 10:13Speaker 1: and I.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Always forget about that. I always trying to just pull
- 10:15Speaker 3: it and you can't really pull it open.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I feel like that's another flaw in the product.
- 10:18Speaker 3: That's I'm saying, maybe a le fufo is the way
- 10:20Speaker 3: to go.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but they cost the same, but.
- 10:23Speaker 3: It's not the same, Like it's not the same hyppness.
- 10:26Speaker 3: You know, all the cool kids.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Right the rest of your college friends are.
- 10:31Speaker 3: You know, and we don't hang out with people that
- 10:32Speaker 3: have left a little.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Something I've been wanting to ask you is if you
- 10:38Speaker 1: subscribe to National Inquirer because you read this is something
- 10:42Speaker 1: that I adore about you, and I immediate is like,
- 10:45Speaker 1: this person, how have I Why have they not always
- 10:48Speaker 1: been part of my entertainment life? Because I love tabloids
- 10:51Speaker 1: and you read tabloids and weekly? Do you subscribe?
- 10:55Speaker 3: Well, I read them star biweekly because I don't subscribe
- 10:59Speaker 3: to them. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to
- 11:01Speaker 3: because they're harder and harder to find, right, But it's
- 11:03Speaker 3: like three hundred dollars a year for crazy because they're like,
- 11:09Speaker 3: they're like six dollars and I wasn't say an episode,
- 11:15Speaker 3: it's definitely an episode. And they're yeah, they're expensive because
- 11:19Speaker 3: they come out weekly. They're like six six dollars. I
- 11:22Speaker 3: used to have a subscription to them in college, which
- 11:24Speaker 3: while I'm in college now, but yeah, I used to
- 11:27Speaker 3: have a subscription them in college. But I should guess
- 11:29Speaker 3: probably I'm going to have to because sometimes when I
- 11:32Speaker 3: want to like buy them, I can't find them, right,
- 11:34Speaker 3: the grocery store is very difficult to find.
- 11:37Speaker 1: What it's weird.
- 11:38Speaker 3: It's in Los Angeles they're hard to find at grocery stores,
- 11:41Speaker 3: but in Pittsburgh, where my parents live, they're very easy to.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Find in grocery stores. They're a hot item.
- 11:47Speaker 3: They're like, yeah, I feel like that's the target audience
- 11:50Speaker 3: is more of like Pittsburgh town, like a more of
- 11:54Speaker 3: a medium size setting.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Right, people who Yeah, I wonder what exactly that I mean,
- 12:00Speaker 1: because you and I would buy them exactly. Yeah.
- 12:02Speaker 3: I have no trouble finding them them here, finding them there,
- 12:05Speaker 3: but here it's like I have to drive, you know,
- 12:07Speaker 3: from grocer to sort of grocery store. Last week I
- 12:10Speaker 3: couldn't find them. Then there's a there's a magazine stand
- 12:14Speaker 3: in Largemont Village, right, but that one that's under a
- 12:17Speaker 3: threat of being closed.
- 12:18Speaker 1: It's getting smaller and smaller. I'm scared. And the right
- 12:21Speaker 1: ed next to it closed down.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean this, this world's crumbled. Hollywoods crumble. My
- 12:27Speaker 3: Labooby was stilling at that trash varns trash, not in
- 12:30Speaker 3: a good way. Magazines you can't tablets you can't find.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Vagazine stands are clothing.
- 12:36Speaker 1: This is what I'll also say about. Well, first of all,
- 12:39Speaker 1: I never buy them. I just and this is maybe
- 12:41Speaker 1: a weird quality about me. I'll just go to the
- 12:43Speaker 1: store and just stand at the end of the line
- 12:46Speaker 1: and page through them because I'm not going to buy them.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I'm not spending six dollars. I'm not subscribing, especially now
- 12:50Speaker 1: that I know that it's three hundred dollars. That's more
- 12:53Speaker 1: than like HBO. It's crazy, But I'll just stand there.
- 12:59Speaker 1: But they're getting frequently they don't have them, And now
- 13:02Speaker 1: I'm I'm starting to see US weekly and people the
- 13:05Speaker 1: headlines are not as good now.
- 13:07Speaker 3: I mean those are my least favorite. You know, the
- 13:09Speaker 3: tabloid ask I prefer the well written, crazy written Globe
- 13:14Speaker 3: and Inquired the Mirror. Yes, well, the Star used to
- 13:18Speaker 3: be like like Star Magazine used to have like, oh,
- 13:21Speaker 3: I love to be more like like the Inquiry and Globe,
- 13:25Speaker 3: you know, like like the way it was put together.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Right now it's more of a glossy magazine like it is.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Right, it's small, it's patiti.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Yeah that's Hollywood. It's small, it's.
- 13:39Speaker 1: But yeah, I feel like all I ever see now
- 13:42Speaker 1: is their headlines, like their private world and uh uh
- 13:49Speaker 1: private hell private.
- 13:51Speaker 3: How They also love to have like the sad last Days,
- 13:55Speaker 3: which is like anybody in Hollywood. It's always anybody's throw
- 13:59Speaker 3: a row for Labooboo. Honey, it's anybody's sad last Days.
- 14:03Speaker 3: It's actually probably la Booboo said Last Days.
- 14:09Speaker 1: But Inquirer. They're pretty creative. The headlines are always something
- 14:13Speaker 1: to look at the.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Way they're written or crazy. I was not the way
- 14:15Speaker 3: that like the stories are written are so crazy. I
- 14:17Speaker 3: mean I love it.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Listening to you read them aloud is maybe my favorite
- 14:21Speaker 1: thing piece of audio. Thank you, but you've been reading
- 14:25Speaker 1: them since college.
- 14:26Speaker 3: We're even younger than that.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Okay, yes, I mean I have.
- 14:30Speaker 3: I found my parents' storage unit. I didn't even know
- 14:33Speaker 3: that my parents kept them all like a couple of
- 14:36Speaker 3: summers ago. I found a box of them right, dating
- 14:39Speaker 3: back to nineteen eighty nine.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Oh my god, yeah, bring them. Huh, well, did you
- 14:49Speaker 1: bring them back with you?
- 14:51Speaker 3: I did, and then I brought them back because yeah,
- 14:54Speaker 3: so I have. I have a lot of them.
- 14:56Speaker 1: You should start reading those. I do. Yeah, I have.
- 14:58Speaker 3: I sometimes do read.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Oh I'm so jealous because I'll go on eBay on
- 15:03Speaker 1: occasion and it's expensive to buy. You know, a few
- 15:06Speaker 1: of them. I know I have.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Well, some of my family is a hoarder, and it's
- 15:09Speaker 3: not me because we also have a lot of People
- 15:12Speaker 3: magazines and Entertainment Weekly.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Okay, and Entertainment Weekly is not fun.
- 15:15Speaker 3: No, no, no, The People magazine has some good.
- 15:18Speaker 1: The further back you get, oh my god, there's some
- 15:20Speaker 1: really good counters. Oh wow, I'm so jealous. But uh yeah,
- 15:26Speaker 1: I'm curious what will be in this week. I was
- 15:28Speaker 1: looking at Target last night and I feel like it
- 15:30Speaker 1: was a Biden senior abuse story on the front of
- 15:35Speaker 1: National Inquirer.
- 15:36Speaker 3: And they like that one.
- 15:38Speaker 1: That one's I'm a little tired.
- 15:40Speaker 3: I'm tired of that one to say. Sometimes they like
- 15:42Speaker 3: that same story will leave and it'll come back around again,
- 15:45Speaker 3: even though it's not a new story.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I tried to sell a story to the Inquirer in college,
- 15:49Speaker 1: you did, And they didn't buy it. They weirdly wanted
- 15:52Speaker 1: a lot of information. I didn't expect them to really care.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Oh they do care.
- 15:57Speaker 1: They really go up for some type of sources and
- 16:00Speaker 1: I had none.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Well, the thing about them is is that sometimes there
- 16:03Speaker 3: is some sort of like truth mixing with the like
- 16:06Speaker 3: right craziness.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I really do think that there's always a kernel of
- 16:10Speaker 1: truth to an Inquirer story.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true, especially especially more back then.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Right. Yeah, it feels like they're probably spiraling a little
- 16:18Speaker 1: out of control.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Were you ever a weekly world news reader?
- 16:22Speaker 3: Oh yeah, with like the you know, the alien babies.
- 16:26Speaker 1: I love all of that and all this is alive.
- 16:29Speaker 1: I remember there was like a a like a column
- 16:34Speaker 1: by woman named Dotty. Do you remember this, dear Dotty? Oh,
- 16:37Speaker 1: I kind of do you remember? It was an advice column.
- 16:40Speaker 1: She was just very rude, get it together. Yeah. It
- 16:44Speaker 1: was a lot of get it together, you idiot. That
- 16:46Speaker 1: very insulting. But I like when I look back at
- 16:49Speaker 1: weekly World News compared to the Inquirer, kind of a
- 16:52Speaker 1: nothing magazine.
- 16:53Speaker 3: No, no, no, yeah, of course. I mean the Inquirer
- 16:56Speaker 3: is like real.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Right, it's all real news, real news, it's all verifiable information.
- 17:01Speaker 3: I believe that it's the only thing I believe at
- 17:04Speaker 3: this point.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Does Inquier ever get into alien stuff?
- 17:08Speaker 3: Oh yeah, there's a big thing about UFOs in them,
- 17:10Speaker 3: a lot like UFO sightings. The government's hiding, right, you know,
- 17:14Speaker 3: they're coming, They're here, you know, and all of it's true.
- 17:19Speaker 1: What is your The other thing I'm curious about with
- 17:21Speaker 1: you is your television watching diet, Like, because you are
- 17:25Speaker 1: getting the very best of TV, you'll record it and
- 17:27Speaker 1: share it with people. And I'm just wondering, like, do
- 17:30Speaker 1: you have a schedule during the day when you'll watch
- 17:33Speaker 1: it or do you like record it and watch it later?
- 17:37Speaker 3: No? No, I watch Inside Edition at seven o'clock Monday
- 17:41Speaker 3: through Friday. That's my main thing. Like when people like,
- 17:45Speaker 3: you know, they always like to ask me, what are
- 17:48Speaker 3: you watching? Are you watching.
- 17:52Speaker 1: What? I don't even know?
- 17:54Speaker 3: What's the wife? One like.
- 17:57Speaker 1: That? One. We'll say successions off TV two years ago.
- 18:02Speaker 3: I'm like now I watch inside a Dish and I
- 18:05Speaker 3: hate when people are like what Sometimes people don't even
- 18:09Speaker 3: know what it is.
- 18:10Speaker 1: It's so good, I know, but I don't have Do
- 18:14Speaker 1: you have live TV? Do you still pay for see?
- 18:16Speaker 1: That's what I don't have that, so I wouldn't be
- 18:17Speaker 1: able to access a disease. Oh do I have?
- 18:19Speaker 3: Like I start off with an antenna, okay, and then
- 18:23Speaker 3: I have like basic basic cable.
- 18:27Speaker 1: See, this is the one thing separating you from other
- 18:28Speaker 1: college students. It's like having live TV.
- 18:31Speaker 3: I know I have to have live TV because I
- 18:32Speaker 3: kind of that's kind of the only thing I really
- 18:34Speaker 3: wantat I only read tabloids and watch live television.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I wonder if you could access inside edition through a
- 18:41Speaker 1: streaming service. What you must be able to I don't know.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I don't I don't understand you. I don't understand. But
- 18:52Speaker 1: you also, I feel like you watch local news? Oh,
- 18:55Speaker 1: I love local news. Do you have a favorite in La? No?
- 19:00Speaker 3: I also have local commercials that you know, what car
- 19:02Speaker 3: shield is, carshield? What's these commercials that Vivica A. Fox says, Oh,
- 19:07Speaker 3: this sounds incredible. I don't even know what it is.
- 19:09Speaker 3: But she just has these wonderful monologues and she's like
- 19:13Speaker 3: funny in them, and she's serious and she's walking while
- 19:15Speaker 3: she's talking. I mean, I love a Vica Fox, but
- 19:18Speaker 3: like I'm obsessed with these. With the commercial, I don't
- 19:21Speaker 3: even know what it is.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Carshield is some sort of device or insurance, I don't don't,
- 19:26Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 19:27Speaker 3: All I know is that Vivica Fox is one of
- 19:29Speaker 3: her best performances.
- 19:30Speaker 1: She's doing a terrible job promoting the product. I have
- 19:33Speaker 1: no idea what it is.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Yeah, because she's performing that you don't even She's such
- 19:37Speaker 3: a dynamic performer that you don't even care.
- 19:39Speaker 1: You're so dazzled.
- 19:40Speaker 3: I'm dazzled by the performance. I don't even care what
- 19:42Speaker 3: carshield is. There's so much information in it.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I want to see. Do you mind if I look
- 19:46Speaker 1: at it up. Let's see if we can figure out
- 19:49Speaker 1: what car shield is. We better both get a car
- 19:51Speaker 1: shield out of this. Car shield auto protection, some sort
- 19:55Speaker 1: of insurance.
- 19:57Speaker 3: She's auto protection protected from what just being stolen from
- 20:05Speaker 3: your car.
- 20:07Speaker 1: That's probably one thing they wouldn't cover car. The saft
- 20:10Speaker 1: insurance is very confusing. I think. I feel like, Uh,
- 20:14Speaker 1: somebody I know had their car broken into and what
- 20:16Speaker 1: was stolen from the car was not covered.
- 20:19Speaker 3: I when I first moved to Los Angeles, I got
- 20:21Speaker 3: the club. Oh my god, I did know how to
- 20:24Speaker 3: work that either star. I just would put it. I
- 20:25Speaker 3: just would put it like on top of the stirring world.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Just as a deterrent. Did it help? Yeah?
- 20:31Speaker 3: I never got my car working.
- 20:32Speaker 1: I feel like no one understood how the club worked.
- 20:34Speaker 1: So I'm sure a carthief wouldn't know either, and they thought, well,
- 20:37Speaker 1: maybe that'll stop me from driving away.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Well, I only go shopping with the things I see
- 20:41Speaker 3: in the Inquirer or on basic antenna television.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Have you bought it? Have you ever gotten one of
- 20:46Speaker 1: those plates from the Inquirer?
- 20:48Speaker 3: Oh? Yeah, Like I have a Marilyn Monroe plates and
- 20:51Speaker 3: collect plates. Yeah.
- 20:52Speaker 1: An, I feel like there are a lot of princess
- 20:54Speaker 1: sty a lot of well.
- 20:55Speaker 3: I was gifted Princess Diadia and the doll. I have
- 20:58Speaker 3: a Megan Markell all I was gifted. Uh, it's a
- 21:04Speaker 3: double box set of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
- 21:08Speaker 1: People like to give me dolls, right, right? Do you
- 21:11Speaker 1: have displayer store.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Well, I don't have a good display case. That's why
- 21:15Speaker 3: someone needs to give gift. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you
- 21:20Speaker 3: know who had one with Sally's Struthers because I was
- 21:25Speaker 3: shares doll display cases.
- 21:27Speaker 1: And yeah, I feel like you don't want them just
- 21:29Speaker 1: on a shelf.
- 21:30Speaker 3: No, I need a display case in glass.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Do you ever buy them for yourself?
- 21:36Speaker 2: Though?
- 21:36Speaker 3: No, No, I did. When I was a child, I
- 21:39Speaker 3: bought or have my parents buy them for me. I
- 21:41Speaker 3: had a Lucy Ricardo porcelain doll and two Merrily Monroe dolls.
- 21:46Speaker 3: But now people give them to me. Why would I
- 21:50Speaker 3: buy them myself?
- 21:52Speaker 1: That's a great question. Do you remember what the first
- 21:55Speaker 1: thing was that you bought? The first doll? I bought
- 21:58Speaker 1: first from inquirer, from a tabloid.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Oh, well, I remember I bought sea monkeys when I
- 22:04Speaker 3: was a child, of course, yeah, of course I was
- 22:06Speaker 3: so disappointed.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Did your I don't remember ever even being able to
- 22:11Speaker 1: see the sea monkeys.
- 22:12Speaker 3: No, they just turned into like the little like tiny
- 22:15Speaker 3: little alga. My mom flushed them down the toilet because
- 22:17Speaker 3: I thought they were going to be my friends, because
- 22:19Speaker 3: I was the only child, and the pictures of them
- 22:21Speaker 3: they looked like a little family, and they wore crowns
- 22:23Speaker 3: on their heads, were smiling.
- 22:25Speaker 1: They almost looked like a little like claymation or something.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Right, yeah, yeah, but they just they didn't turn into that.
- 22:30Speaker 1: It's basically just like bacteria or something. Bacteria what I
- 22:33Speaker 1: feel like. I grew up near the Great Salt Lake.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I think it's the same thing that lives in the
- 22:38Speaker 1: salt like I can't remember. It's like a tiny shrimp
- 22:40Speaker 1: or something. I wonder what that's called. But yeah, that
- 22:43Speaker 1: was a scam product. I feel like anything that you
- 22:45Speaker 1: would order from a magazine that was supposed to be
- 22:48Speaker 1: alive either died immediately or just never existed in the
- 22:52Speaker 1: first place. Sea monkeys, I wonder if sea monkeys.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Still exists, shol bring that back.
- 22:57Speaker 1: What was a sea monkey? Sea monkey? It was a brine.
- 23:03Speaker 1: That's right, you can eat it. You could eat children.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Dinner's ready, kids. Your sea monkeys are being air fried.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Do you have an air fryer? I sure do. What
- 23:17Speaker 1: do you cook your fry? Oh?
- 23:18Speaker 3: I cook everything in my air fry. Unfortunately, I have
- 23:20Speaker 3: to unplug everything because when I use that knocks the
- 23:23Speaker 3: power out something the refrigerator. I have to un plug
- 23:27Speaker 3: the microwave.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Ask your neighbors to turn off there.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Yeah, well I will knock off one side of the
- 23:33Speaker 3: building the power gets not forget to unplug the refrigerator.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Where did you get your air fry? Is that bought
- 23:41Speaker 1: for you?
- 23:42Speaker 3: It was was given to me by my father, and
- 23:45Speaker 3: I think he bought it from like Target or something.
- 23:47Speaker 3: But of course, like a typical head or a shuctual man,
- 23:50Speaker 3: he got me like a giant one. And if I
- 23:53Speaker 3: have like a family of seven to feed, and it's
- 23:55Speaker 3: too powerful for my apartment.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Yeah, because you're just making things for like one meal,
- 24:01Speaker 1: my dolls and labos for a family of nights. But
- 24:05Speaker 1: they have little mouths, yeah, small stomachs. They just need
- 24:08Speaker 1: a bite.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Yeah, they just need a brine. They just need to
- 24:11Speaker 3: feed them.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Monkey sea monkey does feel like a labooboo diet.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Well, it's probably like a wonderful way to like a
- 24:20Speaker 3: wonderful thing to feed them, of course, and they multiply
- 24:23Speaker 3: when you feed them sea monkeys.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Kind of a grimlin situation. Don't feed them sea.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Monkeys after midnight?
- 24:30Speaker 1: After well, I feel like speaking of giving things to
- 24:35Speaker 1: people and things that you may or may not want. Uh, Look,
- 24:40Speaker 1: I was excited to have you here on the podcast.
- 24:42Speaker 1: I thought, people come by, we'll have a nice conversation,
- 24:45Speaker 1: we'll move on with our days. Everything will be fine.
- 24:47Speaker 1: So the podcast is called I said no gifts, So
- 24:50Speaker 1: I was a little surprised a little throne when you
- 24:53Speaker 1: walked into the studio holding what, from from where I'm sitting,
- 24:57Speaker 1: looks like a gift. Well, it is a gift.
- 25:00Speaker 3: And I just believe in when you show but somebody's home,
- 25:05Speaker 3: that you give them something.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Oh but that's nice. That's a nice reason. Well, uh sure,
- 25:11Speaker 1: should I open it here on the podcast. It's in
- 25:17Speaker 1: this nice little black bag to reach you here there,
- 25:21Speaker 1: it feels like there are multiple things in here. She
- 25:23Speaker 1: pulled at least two things. She pulled them out one
- 25:28Speaker 1: at a time.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Oh wait, no, that that's a mistake. I'm sorry, By,
- 25:40Speaker 3: I'm sorry that that was a mistake.
- 25:42Speaker 1: My I can't believe how much smaller it is.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Little By Labo is not supposed to be sorry about that.
- 25:47Speaker 1: I have so many of them. They're just everywhere. They're
- 25:50Speaker 1: just everywhere, the sand from the beach. You.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Yeah, but no, I can't give these away. There were gifts.
- 25:57Speaker 3: I have six of them. And I will always have six.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Well, you can pair those frint to the camera for
- 26:01Speaker 1: the viewer at home.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Here's a laboo boo and here's a ufo.
- 26:07Speaker 1: They're significantly different.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Well, the bigger it's cheaper, it's it's better value, and
- 26:14Speaker 3: it's like more, it's kind of more interesting.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it has more character.
- 26:18Speaker 3: But look at the heck can turn?
- 26:20Speaker 1: You have? The head can turn almost three six. I
- 26:23Speaker 1: can't turn the laffo. I will say it is probably
- 26:26Speaker 1: softer or the lab boo boo is probably softer, wouldn't
- 26:28Speaker 1: you say? Can I feel? Yeah, it's okay interesting? Wow,
- 26:36Speaker 1: they don't want this getting out? Who made thee? Who
- 26:41Speaker 1: is who's the billionaire genius behind the lafufu? Uh, it's bigger,
- 26:47Speaker 1: I would say, it's cutter.
- 26:48Speaker 3: I'm gonna steal that. I want I want this now too.
- 26:53Speaker 1: You caught the fever the wow, I had no idea.
- 27:01Speaker 1: They were so much smaller. It does look like sleeker
- 27:04Speaker 1: or something. It's almost like do you remember the Zoon,
- 27:07Speaker 1: the Microsoft Zoon that was like the competitor to the iPod.
- 27:12Speaker 1: It feels like this to me, like this is the
- 27:14Speaker 1: iPod and that's the zoom Zoom that's the zoon zoon. Well,
- 27:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry that. No, that's embarrassing for you and for me.
- 27:23Speaker 1: I'm sorry that I even thought it might be for me.
- 27:26Speaker 3: I just can't I couldn't know.
- 27:28Speaker 1: You have so many of them at this point, how
- 27:29Speaker 1: were you supposed to keep tracking them? Put that on
- 27:32Speaker 1: the and you've got it on your belt loop. Keep
- 27:34Speaker 1: an eye on it. Who knows what might happen during
- 27:37Speaker 1: in the studio. Okay, oh my god.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Yes, I got your magnifying glass. You can help me
- 27:43Speaker 3: find my my missing lebooba. I need more detectives.
- 27:46Speaker 1: On the case. How many magnifying For people who aren't
- 27:49Speaker 1: familiar with you, You use a magnifying glass very well.
- 27:54Speaker 1: I feel like you know how to use a magnifying
- 27:56Speaker 1: glass and you get to the bottom of a lot
- 27:58Speaker 1: of things using your magnifine.
- 28:00Speaker 3: I love misters in my life.
- 28:01Speaker 1: How many of these do you own?
- 28:03Speaker 3: Well, that's a small one. That's a portable one.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Yeah, this is I have.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Somebody gifted me one for my birthday. I have a
- 28:10Speaker 3: gold one, I have a black one.
- 28:12Speaker 1: I have four, four of them. When did you get
- 28:15Speaker 1: your first one? This is a nice magnifying glass either way.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Well, You're welcome.
- 28:20Speaker 1: It's for you. It's it's better than Yeah, this is
- 28:24Speaker 1: better than.
- 28:26Speaker 2: You know.
- 28:26Speaker 3: What's also great about it is that sometimes when I like,
- 28:29Speaker 3: you know, when I go to a restaurant and I
- 28:31Speaker 3: can't read the menu if I don't have my glasses
- 28:33Speaker 3: with me, because sometimes I'm afraid to take my glasses out,
- 28:36Speaker 3: you know, to like for an evening at a restaurant,
- 28:40Speaker 3: lose them my magnifying glass with me. That's it's a
- 28:45Speaker 3: great idea. And also if anybody commits a crime, you
- 28:47Speaker 3: can look at the fingerpress and there's always a crime
- 28:50Speaker 3: and loss.
- 28:51Speaker 1: In Hollywood constantly. You've put a victim.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 28:54Speaker 1: You could be a victim today. I'm wearing I'm wearing
- 28:58Speaker 1: you are a target.
- 29:00Speaker 3: Burbank, Tncut.
- 29:02Speaker 1: I wonder what the last time a magnifying glass was
- 29:04Speaker 1: used to solve a crime.
- 29:06Speaker 3: I've solved them. I'm the one that proved that justice
- 29:10Speaker 3: Smellert Gay bashed to himself.
- 29:12Speaker 1: You went to Chicago.
- 29:13Speaker 3: I went to Chicago with that magnifying glass.
- 29:15Speaker 1: That's where it happened, right sure.
- 29:17Speaker 3: In a polar vortex. So I'm their crimes are always
- 29:22Speaker 3: being solved, and I.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Solve them where is he now.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Oh he's engaged, Yeah, he's engaged, or it's just probably
- 29:30Speaker 3: another stunt.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I wonder if he went through any sort of therapy
- 29:37Speaker 1: or anything after that.
- 29:38Speaker 3: Or is he walked around with an I think an
- 29:42Speaker 3: AA book he's oh, he's photographed with it. Make sure
- 29:47Speaker 3: he was photographed proposing in Europe A boyfriend has been
- 29:53Speaker 3: a lover beyond.
- 29:54Speaker 1: That, not professionally photographed. It was like a paparazzi show allegedly, okay,
- 30:00Speaker 1: a hired paparazza. I'm sure he leaked it to that.
- 30:04Speaker 1: What was he doing prior to that? Was he on
- 30:05Speaker 1: a TV show?
- 30:06Speaker 3: Because an empire?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Oh? He was an empire? That's right. What a fall
- 30:10Speaker 1: he had? What an absolute fall? Has he been on
- 30:12Speaker 1: anything since he just destroyed his career?
- 30:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean he's been on he's he's you know,
- 30:19Speaker 3: he lied, it's a skill.
- 30:22Speaker 1: He did lie, and he didn't get away with it.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Did he go to jail or anything?
- 30:26Speaker 3: He went to jail and he wasn't John. I mean
- 30:27Speaker 3: this he was. They put they brought him in, they
- 30:29Speaker 3: took him out. It was all kind of crazy enough.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Oh right right. It makes me so mad.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Because no one believed me, but I'm not going to
- 30:35Speaker 3: get into that.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Do you have any new updates? You obviously follow Luigi Mangiona.
- 30:42Speaker 1: What's the latest on him?
- 30:43Speaker 3: Well, he's just waiting, you know, for his trial, just
- 30:45Speaker 3: sitting on that that prison in Brooklyn with puff Daddy.
- 30:48Speaker 1: He did it is? Did he still in the jail.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Yeah, they're in the same section of the jail hanging out.
- 30:56Speaker 3: But Luigi's you know, he's going to be having a
- 30:59Speaker 3: unfortunately one televised because it's federal.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Stupid. I know.
- 31:07Speaker 3: If it's not an inside edition, I mean, how am
- 31:09Speaker 3: I going to know what's going on?
- 31:10Speaker 1: That's your only news story?
- 31:12Speaker 3: Yes, and the Inquirer. But there was recently a picture
- 31:15Speaker 3: of him released in prison where he's smiling. But I'm concerned.
- 31:19Speaker 3: It's not a.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Concerned about that. Well where did you see it? Was
- 31:23Speaker 1: it online or on inside edition?
- 31:24Speaker 3: It wasn't on either of them. Oh, it's only online.
- 31:27Speaker 3: So that's why I don't know. Unless it's an inside
- 31:29Speaker 3: edition or in the Inquirer, I don't believe.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Right.
- 31:31Speaker 3: If i'm more you know, I question it more right,
- 31:36Speaker 3: If it's on the actual you know, news, I don't
- 31:38Speaker 3: know if I believe it. If it's on the K
- 31:41Speaker 3: T l A. I don't know who knows where they
- 31:43Speaker 3: got exactly.
- 31:44Speaker 1: It could be one of the anchors on chat GBT
- 31:47Speaker 1: just creating im.
- 31:48Speaker 3: Of course they are.
- 31:51Speaker 1: What is I feel like you've been following Sherry Peppinie
- 31:54Speaker 1: as well.
- 31:55Speaker 3: I loved, I love Have you want that? Speaking of kidnapping,
- 31:58Speaker 3: Oh my god, kidnapping. She she's a laboo, she's her
- 32:02Speaker 3: own laboobo.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I wonder if your la boo boo has Peppini did.
- 32:08Speaker 3: So she could like she could have very well done
- 32:11Speaker 3: that my for a ton show.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Yeah, your labubuo could show up on the side of
- 32:14Speaker 1: the freeway in six months on Thanksgiving Day.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Well, I was accused of faking my labuobu being stolen.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I sure was.
- 32:22Speaker 3: I would never do such a thing for an.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Attention, Absolutely not. You cared about that lao.
- 32:26Speaker 3: I did too care about that laboo. So I was
- 32:28Speaker 3: very offended by that. But like, I don't stage my
- 32:31Speaker 3: own mysteries, okay, my own crimes.
- 32:33Speaker 1: No, you're interesting enough for them to happen to you.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 32:37Speaker 3: But yeah, she's back again.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Kay.
- 32:39Speaker 3: You know what, Remember when I faked my kidnapping and
- 32:42Speaker 3: I got caught and I said, you know what, I
- 32:44Speaker 3: faked it. That's not true. I did get kidnapped.
- 32:47Speaker 1: She now claiming it was real.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Yeah, it was real, but not those two women that
- 32:51Speaker 3: kidnapped her. Now, I don't It's just she.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Was kidnapped by the guy. Maybe she was kidnapped by
- 32:57Speaker 1: her ex boyfriend. Ex boyfriend who like held up a
- 33:00Speaker 1: hockey stick and had she would run into it.
- 33:02Speaker 3: He would hit hockey pucks into her. Oh, and then
- 33:06Speaker 3: she threw like a wrench up in the air and
- 33:10Speaker 3: lay it at her face. I mean, the commitment to this,
- 33:13Speaker 3: I mean, it's very admirable.
- 33:14Speaker 1: It's incredible.
- 33:15Speaker 3: It's incredible. I mean, that's why I like her. I
- 33:17Speaker 3: like Rachel Doloso. I like people that are committed to
- 33:21Speaker 3: their character. That's why I wasn't happy with Jessic Smlet,
- 33:23Speaker 3: because he didn't do a very good job of really proving,
- 33:26Speaker 3: like really making me believe that right kit he was
- 33:30Speaker 3: gay bashing himself.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Yeah, because of course these things cross our minds. I thought, well,
- 33:34Speaker 1: maybe I'll kidnap myself and be a fake of being
- 33:38Speaker 1: a captive for months at a time and then you
- 33:40Speaker 1: know all of this. But I don't do it. I
- 33:42Speaker 1: don't have the ghost the wherewithal the carry through right exactly,
- 33:48Speaker 1: And so when someone like Puppini does it, it's like
- 33:50Speaker 1: good for her, good for her.
- 33:52Speaker 3: She'd like, you know, she was bored. She was bored
- 33:55Speaker 3: for boring, boring town, boring family.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Very vanilla husband. She was just what was she doing?
- 34:04Speaker 1: She was jogging and picking up the kids from school exactly.
- 34:07Speaker 3: The husband was at work all the time.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Yeah, she needed to do something to spice it up.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna kidnap myself.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Did you watch the new documentary about her?
- 34:16Speaker 3: Yes, I'm the id.
- 34:18Speaker 1: I haven't finished that one. How do you feel about
- 34:21Speaker 1: his sister?
- 34:24Speaker 3: I feel like that the sister that said that she
- 34:27Speaker 3: she knew that she was crazy. Yes, well I believe
- 34:30Speaker 3: that she's crazy.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Wait, the sister who shows up in a turban. Oh
- 34:35Speaker 1: do you know who's on Sherry's side? Oh?
- 34:39Speaker 3: I like her because she's right. She's right.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Because she's on the side. And she obviously went to
- 34:48Speaker 1: a lot of work to like do some set deck
- 34:50Speaker 1: on her home and really had a costume picked out.
- 34:53Speaker 3: Well, she's committed to her character too. Yeah, I'm the
- 34:56Speaker 3: only one that's the boy is the brother and husband.
- 34:59Speaker 3: Everyone's everyone that is so bored by him that they
- 35:01Speaker 3: become other people. They kidnap themselves, they wear costumes.
- 35:05Speaker 1: They betray their family exactly. Yeah, she's fully on Sherry's side,
- 35:11Speaker 1: And but in what way? I can't. I don't think
- 35:14Speaker 1: I finished it, but I feel like she She says
- 35:16Speaker 1: that Sherry just had to do it, and I agree.
- 35:19Speaker 1: We all agree. Sheerry's back was against.
- 35:20Speaker 3: The wall, her back was against watch. She had to
- 35:22Speaker 3: kidnap herself. I love how she left like the iPods
- 35:26Speaker 3: behind the iPod wire.
- 35:27Speaker 1: It's amazing.
- 35:28Speaker 3: I mean it was really detailed.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Yes, I feel like she didn't go she should have
- 35:32Speaker 1: done a little more research in that because I feel
- 35:34Speaker 1: like the detectives were starting to pick up on certain things.
- 35:37Speaker 3: Well, the fact that she really got her cat was
- 35:40Speaker 3: when she described the room that she was kidnapping. Was
- 35:43Speaker 3: the actual room that she was kidnapping.
- 35:45Speaker 1: She should have created a different room, create a different room.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Get creative, creative, use your imagination.
- 35:50Speaker 3: That's the problem in the young with hers. These people
- 35:52Speaker 3: aren't creative.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Enough, right, Yeah, it's a lack of imagination, the lack
- 35:56Speaker 1: of imagination. Did the ex boyfriend go to jail? I
- 36:00Speaker 1: don't know.
- 36:00Speaker 3: I think he might not have because he he routed
- 36:03Speaker 3: her out, so I think help him.
- 36:06Speaker 1: And she kind of didn't go to jail for a
- 36:07Speaker 1: long time, not long enough. You're on her side, but
- 36:11Speaker 1: you also feel like she should have gone to prison
- 36:13Speaker 1: for probably a decade. Well, she's kind of the great
- 36:21Speaker 1: fraud of our time.
- 36:22Speaker 3: I would say, oh, yeah, well it's her, it's Rachel. Yes,
- 36:27Speaker 3: it's my lad. Those are like the three.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Yeah, where where's Rachel? Now? She's still black? Black? She
- 36:36Speaker 1: never wasn't black. She's always so black. She does her
- 36:41Speaker 1: oh wow. And I feel like a lot of people
- 36:43Speaker 1: are probably still on her side. I am.
- 36:47Speaker 3: Her. I never had a problem with her.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Was there ever a point when we were looking at
- 36:51Speaker 1: her like, was there a point when the whole public
- 36:54Speaker 1: didn't know? Or was like the she became famous because
- 36:57Speaker 1: she had been lying.
- 36:58Speaker 3: She became famous because she had been because she got
- 37:00Speaker 3: caught on camera.
- 37:01Speaker 1: What was she doing?
- 37:03Speaker 3: They were interviewing, They put it on camera. They were
- 37:04Speaker 3: interviewing about something, and she was the head of the
- 37:07Speaker 3: the NAACP and spoke in Washington, Okay, And they asked
- 37:11Speaker 3: her something about her her real father was, and she
- 37:13Speaker 3: just sort of ran Off.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Do you have a favorite National Inquiry story of all time?
- 37:21Speaker 3: Oh, that's so difficult. I like the one about this
- 37:26Speaker 3: this woman was going for she was on a raft
- 37:30Speaker 3: and like, yeah, she's like kind of wrapped like the
- 37:34Speaker 3: riverboat rafting or like you know, like laying in a
- 37:37Speaker 3: rat in a like a lazy river, like in the nature.
- 37:40Speaker 1: And she was.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Attacked by otters a crazy odor and the picture of
- 37:45Speaker 3: the otter looks like it's laughing in the in the
- 37:47Speaker 3: but kept just biting her butt, and so it wrote up.
- 37:51Speaker 3: It wrote it in the in the story, and she
- 37:53Speaker 3: just kept biting her butt, and they shared the picture
- 37:55Speaker 3: of the otter and it looks like it's laughing. That's
- 37:56Speaker 3: one of my favorite ones.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Was she like mauled by the by a laughing honor,
- 38:04Speaker 1: which is unrecognizable. That's another term you see a lot.
- 38:07Speaker 3: She was unrecognizably. Yeah, she was unrecognizable. Yeah, I love
- 38:11Speaker 3: that story.
- 38:13Speaker 1: When was that?
- 38:14Speaker 3: This sounds like maybe two years ago.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Okay, just attack by honors. They are mean, Yeah, I've
- 38:20Speaker 1: heard that they're vicious. I guess they're very cute. They're deceptive.
- 38:24Speaker 1: There's they're like they're unlike a like a possum, which
- 38:29Speaker 1: are so terrifying and not dangerous.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Right, But but I thought, I think they're cute.
- 38:34Speaker 1: You think possums are cute. I think pasthems are cute.
- 38:36Speaker 1: I'm like, they're growing on me. For a long time,
- 38:39Speaker 1: I was absolutely terrified. But now that I've learned that
- 38:41Speaker 1: they're almost defenseless.
- 38:42Speaker 3: I have one here.
- 38:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you two. That's everything in the bag.
- 38:48Speaker 1: You're also surrounded by posse.
- 38:52Speaker 3: There was another story I liked that was this woman
- 38:55Speaker 3: the police found a pet rock cune in a woman's
- 38:59Speaker 3: car is smoking out of a crack pipe. That's another
- 39:03Speaker 3: one I like. I like there's always stories about Florida
- 39:08Speaker 3: where crocodiles are knocking on people's.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Doors or ringing the ring the bell ring.
- 39:14Speaker 3: Like we'll ring the doorbell, honey, Florida, Florida.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Are they getting up to the bell.
- 39:22Speaker 3: They climb up the wall. There's bunches of them climbing
- 39:25Speaker 3: up the wall.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Oh my god, I think I like it terrifying to
- 39:28Speaker 1: make that's absolutely horrifying. Do you know what scares me
- 39:33Speaker 1: about them is the biting is terrifying, But the thing
- 39:36Speaker 1: they do to you beforehand, where they thrash you about
- 39:38Speaker 1: in I think that's way scarier than being nipped or.
- 39:42Speaker 3: I understand how people can live around like like you
- 39:46Speaker 3: could just there could be one in your pool, Like
- 39:48Speaker 3: they live in an environment where there's crocodiles, allegies everywhere.
- 39:50Speaker 1: I couldn't right where they're just they're like coyotes are here.
- 39:53Speaker 3: No, but coyote is fine, but not crocodiles.
- 39:56Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Like in l A, all we
- 39:58Speaker 1: have to worry about is like a coyote that'll run
- 40:00Speaker 1: off or someone will right, But in Florida, you step
- 40:04Speaker 1: out of your car, it could be underneath there.
- 40:06Speaker 3: That's why I have relatives in Florida, and I'll never
- 40:09Speaker 3: see them ever again.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Do you get along with them?
- 40:11Speaker 3: I don't know, because I don't care they're in Florida.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't. I just can't imagine terrifying. I think
- 40:18Speaker 1: the most dangerous thing here is probably a mountain lion,
- 40:21Speaker 1: but no one really ever sees those.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Well, somebody I met recently asked if I wanted to
- 40:27Speaker 3: go on a gay height gay height gay with a
- 40:32Speaker 3: bunch of how much oh god, hike, you know, like
- 40:36Speaker 3: up like by beache, like Griforth the park at night,
- 40:41Speaker 3: and I was like, that sounds like a horrible idea,
- 40:44Speaker 3: Like you set yourself up for being.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Attacked by a mountain lion or a bobcat rather at night. Yeah,
- 40:52Speaker 1: of course that's when they're out. Yeah, I've got a
- 40:55Speaker 1: night hikes up there, and this is just clicking for me. No,
- 40:57Speaker 1: you can't do that during the pandemic when it was
- 40:59Speaker 1: even emptier.
- 41:00Speaker 3: No, you can't do that.
- 41:01Speaker 1: No, they're out there, they're out there.
- 41:03Speaker 3: I mean one time I was up there by myself.
- 41:05Speaker 3: I was like, what the hell am I doing up here?
- 41:07Speaker 3: Like if I see a mountain lion? Well, I just
- 41:09Speaker 3: saw a story on inside the edition where a woman
- 41:11Speaker 3: was on hiking up the California Hills and s into
- 41:15Speaker 3: a mountain lion recognition. She got to go away by
- 41:18Speaker 3: saying no, no, that's all you have to know, and
- 41:22Speaker 3: it ran away. My cat understands no too. So I
- 41:26Speaker 3: think there's something about no and cats, because I'll go
- 41:29Speaker 3: I'll shake my finger up my cat and go no, no,
- 41:31Speaker 3: and she understand.
- 41:32Speaker 1: That's all it needs. Interesting.
- 41:34Speaker 3: I mean, I don't understand.
- 41:35Speaker 1: I don't understand. Now there's no stopping. He stopping just
- 41:42Speaker 1: relentless here I come.
- 41:47Speaker 3: Uh.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Yeah, the alligators are scary, mountain lines are terrifying. Snakes
- 41:51Speaker 1: are scary. My mom just got bitten by a snake.
- 41:53Speaker 3: Really in Utah is like a poisonous Yeah, she copp
- 41:58Speaker 3: her head.
- 41:59Speaker 1: It may have been a copper. Who knows. She was
- 42:01Speaker 1: bit and it swoll swollen up? Is that swells swelled?
- 42:06Speaker 1: It swells swoll up, swoll up. It swelled. I mean
- 42:11Speaker 1: her arm like doubled inside them. We thought it was
- 42:13Speaker 1: a spider, but then we saw two snake bites. Terrifying.
- 42:17Speaker 1: I didn't even see the snake, so was that quick?
- 42:19Speaker 1: It can happen instantly, Absolutely terrifying. Have you ever had
- 42:23Speaker 1: a run in with nature?
- 42:26Speaker 3: I'm scared I run in with nature. Probably. Well, I've seen.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Coyotes, okay, just out in the street.
- 42:35Speaker 3: Well like, yeah, it was so I was gonna geut
- 42:36Speaker 3: of the car once and I saw a bunch of
- 42:37Speaker 3: them and I went back in the house. I feelt
- 42:39Speaker 3: like there was I have i'm as run in with nature,
- 42:44Speaker 3: but I don't really remember them other than coyotes.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Right, I went camping. I think I'm sure have shoved
- 42:49Speaker 1: this story on this podcast before, but years ago, I
- 42:51Speaker 1: went camping in the Utah Mountains and there were all
- 42:54Speaker 1: these mountain lion attacks in the news. And we were
- 42:57Speaker 1: in the tent and something started pushing up against the
- 43:00Speaker 1: tent as we're trying to go to sleep. Just kept
- 43:02Speaker 1: pushing and pushing and pushing, and we were just like, I,
- 43:04Speaker 1: you know, I just thought, Oh, this is the end
- 43:05Speaker 1: of my life. How do you get out of this?
- 43:07Speaker 1: But we finally left and we went to sleep, and
- 43:09Speaker 1: I woke up the next day and there was just
- 43:10Speaker 1: one small raccoon paw on the side of the door. Yeah,
- 43:14Speaker 1: very cute. It was just coming up and kind of
- 43:16Speaker 1: tapping the tent.
- 43:17Speaker 3: But they're unhands hip.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Oh they're extremely dangerous.
- 43:20Speaker 3: But you can get rabies from them. And you could
- 43:22Speaker 3: also say, like they have like those nails, like they're
- 43:24Speaker 3: like razors.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Oh yeah, of course they can do all kinds of things.
- 43:27Speaker 1: I learned recently, and I don't know if this is
- 43:29Speaker 1: true or not, that a rabbit you don't have to
- 43:32Speaker 1: be afraid of a rabbit squirrel because apparently if they
- 43:35Speaker 1: get rabies, they die pretty quickly. Their small body can't
- 43:38Speaker 1: take the rabies.
- 43:38Speaker 3: That's good to know because I have a squirrel around
- 43:41Speaker 3: my apartment. A lot of squirrels, No one, this one
- 43:44Speaker 3: that just sort of hangs out around.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Oh, that's very sweet. I'm sure it's fine.
- 43:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I'm not gonna I'm not going to
- 43:49Speaker 3: even test it out by trying to feed it.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Like I have friends who feed this squirrel.
- 43:53Speaker 3: No, No, I don't test them.
- 43:56Speaker 1: They have them come right up to them, they feed
- 43:57Speaker 1: them out of their hands.
- 43:58Speaker 3: No, that's what's there's a reason why that. There's a
- 44:01Speaker 3: terminology that says squirrely.
- 44:05Speaker 1: I'm terrified of rats. And I've been watching Little House
- 44:07Speaker 1: on the Prairie and last night I watched the plague episode.
- 44:11Speaker 1: And have you ever seen the show. You've got it.
- 44:14Speaker 1: You should watch it because it's crazy.
- 44:17Speaker 3: I'll watch the plague.
- 44:18Speaker 1: The plague episode is one of the darkest episodes of
- 44:20Speaker 1: TV I've ever seen. And there's a scene where the
- 44:24Speaker 1: rats are giving everyone the plague typhus or something, and
- 44:28Speaker 1: towards the end of the episode, they have to figure
- 44:29Speaker 1: out what's going on, and so they break into the
- 44:31Speaker 1: grain barn and they must have hired fifty rats to
- 44:34Speaker 1: be in the scene, just crawling everywhere. It is disgusting.
- 44:39Speaker 1: There's also an episode where there's a raccoon. There's a
- 44:42Speaker 1: little girl holding a raccoon right up to her face.
- 44:44Speaker 1: I can't.
- 44:44Speaker 3: You have to see the show. It's worth I love
- 44:48Speaker 3: holding rats. It is so adorable. I remember when people
- 44:55Speaker 3: would have guinea pigs growing up. I thought there was some.
- 44:57Speaker 1: I'm not a good I think they sa they don't.
- 45:01Speaker 1: They're not cute.
- 45:01Speaker 3: I don't know I had. I never had, Like did
- 45:04Speaker 3: you have pants? I had cat, a dog, and ducks.
- 45:08Speaker 1: No ducks. We had ducks.
- 45:09Speaker 3: I had two ducks that were gifted to me by
- 45:11Speaker 3: my grandmother for Easter. But we couldn't keep them very long.
- 45:13Speaker 3: They got big.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Oh interesting hours just died still ducklings. I don't know
- 45:19Speaker 1: what happened them. Eat the ducklings. Do they serve duckling
- 45:24Speaker 1: as food? Oh? That would be a tough probably.
- 45:26Speaker 3: The French probably.
- 45:29Speaker 1: Everything They love duck Are they still serving horse in France?
- 45:33Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Would be so sad awful. But you had to give
- 45:38Speaker 1: you your ducks away.
- 45:39Speaker 3: We put them on the farm.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Okay, yeah. We lived kind of in a country ish area,
- 45:43Speaker 1: so the ducklings were just out and about and I
- 45:45Speaker 1: guess they died or something terrible, terrible, absolutely terrible. They
- 45:49Speaker 1: were very cute. They probably took them. Where does she
- 45:55Speaker 1: live now?
- 45:56Speaker 3: She lives somewhere in upstate northern California.
- 46:00Speaker 1: She's she's just not allowed to be by her children anymore,
- 46:02Speaker 1: is she well?
- 46:03Speaker 3: Her children? Like, yeah, she's not allowed to have any visitation.
- 46:07Speaker 1: She does.
- 46:08Speaker 3: I think she is allowed to visitation her daughter son.
- 46:12Speaker 3: I don't remember, but yeah.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Because towards the end of the first documentary he was
- 46:17Speaker 1: saying that she was like poisoning them or something, or.
- 46:22Speaker 3: Like Munchausen by proxy. Yeah, she has that too.
- 46:27Speaker 1: We support her in that journey.
- 46:29Speaker 3: I love that that phrase, Munchausen by proxy. Who haven't
- 46:33Speaker 3: made that up?
- 46:34Speaker 1: I love.
- 46:36Speaker 3: Munchausen by proxy?
- 46:38Speaker 1: Who was the first? I must have been Munchausen.
- 46:41Speaker 3: Child, said miss, miss Munchausen, I, Miss Munchausen.
- 46:45Speaker 1: I have a question.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Yes, proxy, that's the teacher poisoned the student, and.
- 46:52Speaker 1: That's Munchausen by proxy. Sounds like a signature scent.
- 46:56Speaker 3: Oh by Calvin Klein. Munchausen by proxy.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I'm wearing Munchausen by proxy.
- 47:03Speaker 3: Do you like my my fragrance perfume? Munchausen by proxy?
- 47:10Speaker 1: Uh, well, is there anything I have to say about
- 47:12Speaker 1: a magnifying glass?
- 47:15Speaker 3: You know, just use it to you know, solve the
- 47:17Speaker 3: crimes in your life or other crimes in people's lives,
- 47:20Speaker 3: or you know, maybe help me find my green la boobuo.
- 47:24Speaker 3: I mean, I'm kind of over it now because I
- 47:27Speaker 3: spoiled with them, but I could turn up.
- 47:31Speaker 1: I have them so lucky. I'm like the luckiest girl
- 47:36Speaker 1: this summer. We're just very girl.
- 47:40Speaker 3: And be a girl of the moment with my six boos.
- 47:45Speaker 3: If I want to tak a were all around my ways,
- 47:47Speaker 3: but I don't want to intimidate people.
- 47:49Speaker 1: I don't.
- 47:50Speaker 3: I don't want people to feel bad that they're not
- 47:51Speaker 3: as cool as.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Do you think you'll ever buy your own? No, I
- 47:58Speaker 1: think people should keep sending them to you. I agree
- 48:01Speaker 1: they should reach out to you.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Well, there's time that there's a black one, oh, a
- 48:06Speaker 3: rare one that's worth money?
- 48:07Speaker 1: Is it truly? Does it exist?
- 48:10Speaker 3: Or Rachel dollars that probably has it?
- 48:14Speaker 1: But it's green. It's great. Well, I think we should
- 48:19Speaker 1: play a game, but first I need to number between
- 48:22Speaker 1: one and ten from you seven. Okay, I have to
- 48:25Speaker 1: do some light calculating to get our game pieces. So
- 48:28Speaker 1: right now, you can recommend, promote, do whatever you want.
- 48:30Speaker 1: I'll be right back.
- 48:31Speaker 3: Okay, Well, you could watch me on Instagram live every
- 48:36Speaker 3: other mind at seven pm Hollywood time, where I will
- 48:39Speaker 3: read the tablets and give you all the Hollywood dish
- 48:43Speaker 3: and catch me on Off Broadway play this fall in
- 48:47Speaker 3: New York City called Messy White Gays, written by Drew Droghi,
- 48:52Speaker 3: also co starring Drew Drogi and me and some other
- 48:56Speaker 3: wonderful actors in including Aaron Jackson.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Oh my god, that sounds so great, Drew former guests
- 49:05Speaker 1: and that show is so good. People should go see
- 49:09Speaker 1: that and follow, I mean truly, unfollow everyone else on
- 49:12Speaker 1: Instagram and just follow Pete.
- 49:14Speaker 3: I agree, Semula Boo booz and b and dolls more dolls.
- 49:20Speaker 1: What a great cast for Messy White Gays. That's so exciting. Okay,
- 49:24Speaker 1: everyone find Pete wherever this is. We're gonna play a
- 49:27Speaker 1: game called Gift or a Curse. I'm going to name
- 49:29Speaker 1: three things. You'll tell me if there are a gift
- 49:31Speaker 1: or a curse and why, and then I'll tell you
- 49:34Speaker 1: if you're right or wrong, because there are correct answers. Okay,
- 49:36Speaker 1: is that perfectly clear perfectly, you can lose, you don't
- 49:39Speaker 1: want to lose. Okay. This first one is from a
- 49:44Speaker 1: listener named Peter Gay. I didn't even realize I did this,
- 49:49Speaker 1: randomne this came from you? Maybe it did.
- 49:54Speaker 3: I won't remember you did.
- 49:55Speaker 1: In a fugue stage, you're emailing enough, fus.
- 49:59Speaker 3: I email myself things all the time. I'm like, who's that?
- 50:02Speaker 1: Do you know? What I hate is when I email
- 50:04Speaker 1: myself and then get excited that I got an email? Okay,
- 50:10Speaker 1: gift to a curse. Celebrating others on social media e g. Birthdays,
- 50:14Speaker 1: Mother's Day, et cetera. Using photos from your own wedding curse.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Why well I'm not married, okay, but other people?
- 50:23Speaker 3: Oh no, no, no, no, no, it's a curse, is there?
- 50:26Speaker 3: First of all, you're making it all about you showing
- 50:29Speaker 3: pictures of your own wedding. Am I getting this right?
- 50:34Speaker 1: Give your defense and I'll let you know if you
- 50:35Speaker 1: got it right? Okay?
- 50:36Speaker 3: But they're like, yeah, I just say happy birthday. Don't
- 50:40Speaker 3: have to have other pictures and things involved.
- 50:43Speaker 1: Wrong, that's a gift, beeed. This is for almost for exactly.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Why why else celebrate other people if it doesn't involve you. Well,
- 50:51Speaker 1: that's true. You've got all these lovely pictures of yourself
- 50:54Speaker 1: and your mom. You don't want to just post a
- 50:57Speaker 1: picture of her. That's boring for the rest of the internet.
- 51:00Speaker 1: You need you in it.
- 51:01Speaker 3: Well, that is true. You're right and I'm wrong.
- 51:04Speaker 1: You're wrong in this situation. But maybe you're learning. I'm learning,
- 51:07Speaker 1: you're learning. Okay. Number two. This is from a listener
- 51:10Speaker 1: named Sarah Gift a curse celebrities discussing their celebrity friends
- 51:14Speaker 1: on podcasts using only their last names. For example, Clooney
- 51:18Speaker 1: and I were at brunch the other day and.
- 51:22Speaker 3: Curse, why Clooney. I mean, if they're your friend, just
- 51:27Speaker 3: call them your first the first name. I don't like
- 51:30Speaker 3: when people call other people by their last name.
- 51:32Speaker 1: I don't like it just in general. Yeah, it's very
- 51:35Speaker 1: uh going to the gym or like gym class. I don't.
- 51:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like like the gym teacher yelling at you wrong.
- 51:46Speaker 3: I guess I'm wrong because I'm horrible at this game.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Pete, that's a gift. I love celebrities. I'm part of
- 51:53Speaker 1: the club. I'm part of the gang. I'm in gym
- 51:55Speaker 1: class with whoever's friends with Clooney and we're having a
- 51:59Speaker 1: great time. We're talking about Clooney's pranks. We're talking about
- 52:02Speaker 1: Clooney's tequila. Uh. And it's so casual and fun.
- 52:06Speaker 3: Well, I know you're talking about George Clue, not Rosemary Clooney.
- 52:10Speaker 3: It's not very specific.
- 52:14Speaker 1: You make a really good voind. Okay, Well you've gotten
- 52:19Speaker 1: zero right so far, and that's fine. Number three This
- 52:22Speaker 1: is from a listener named Rick. Gif to a curse
- 52:23Speaker 1: when your uber driver plays a phone game while driving. Oh,
- 52:27Speaker 1: it's a gift.
- 52:29Speaker 3: I like playing like helps me, like, you know, past
- 52:32Speaker 3: the time. I like playing like. You're talking about those
- 52:34Speaker 3: games that are in the back of the car. Back
- 52:36Speaker 3: in the back of the car.
- 52:37Speaker 1: See. No, this is when the driver themselves is playing
- 52:40Speaker 1: a game.
- 52:40Speaker 3: Oh no, I don't want them to play a game.
- 52:43Speaker 3: They didn't attention to the road. It's a curse. I
- 52:48Speaker 3: thought you might have. Sometimes they have the trivia games
- 52:49Speaker 3: behind their cars.
- 52:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, of course, and I can play it.
- 52:52Speaker 3: Yeah, but not still playing it. No, No, No, that's
- 52:55Speaker 3: that's a curse. I meant. I can't even get into this.
- 52:59Speaker 1: No, it's a curve. You lost the game.
- 53:03Speaker 3: What happened?
- 53:04Speaker 1: Now, that's a gift. I'm glad that they're entertaining themselves.
- 53:08Speaker 1: They're bored at work. Oh wow, I want them to
- 53:10Speaker 1: be as happy as I am. And you know they've
- 53:13Speaker 1: got a full, rich life. They're they're driving, they're listening
- 53:16Speaker 1: to music, they're playing a game, change rights.
- 53:18Speaker 3: They should turn off. They should have no music play,
- 53:21Speaker 3: keep their mouth and their eyes closed, and drive the car.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Ten and ten and two, driving.
- 53:32Speaker 3: On the like they're in that race car movie.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Did you see that movie? No? I don't.
- 53:38Speaker 2: I don't.
- 53:39Speaker 1: I don't care either that movie. But I don't think
- 53:41Speaker 1: anyone said that I.
- 53:42Speaker 3: Made a lot of money, but it did. I don't know.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Once here there's a race car movie. Who's going to
- 53:48Speaker 1: see them?
- 53:49Speaker 3: The race car drivers?
- 53:51Speaker 1: See? That's I think the most boring idea for a
- 53:53Speaker 1: movie to me. Yeah, I mean I don't.
- 53:56Speaker 3: I don't even want to watch that on television.
- 53:57Speaker 1: Why're Oh my god? They life fart is boring? Yeah, No,
- 54:02Speaker 1: I don't need a fictionalized version.
- 54:03Speaker 3: I really think that's a real like a real thing.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Driving a car.
- 54:07Speaker 3: No, I didn't drive a car here or I had
- 54:10Speaker 3: a left I have a car too. Wow, how many
- 54:12Speaker 3: times I go towards my car. I'm like, I don't
- 54:15Speaker 3: want to do this and this call left?
- 54:18Speaker 1: Do you not like driving?
- 54:19Speaker 3: I hate track?
- 54:20Speaker 1: Do you like listening to music?
- 54:21Speaker 3: I like listening to music, and but sometimes I'll drive
- 54:24Speaker 3: my car and I won't really go anywhere. I just
- 54:28Speaker 3: drive around listen to music, and then if I have
- 54:30Speaker 3: to go somewhere, I'll call left.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Well that's very healthy, thank you. I think that's a great. Yeah,
- 54:35Speaker 1: because I don't like driving, but I love listening to music.
- 54:37Speaker 1: So maybe I just need to start driving around the
- 54:39Speaker 1: block or something, or you.
- 54:40Speaker 3: Just get headphones and walk out the door.
- 54:43Speaker 1: That's true. But there's something nice about driving and blasting music.
- 54:46Speaker 1: And blasting music, I agree, it feels great. I just
- 54:49Speaker 1: feel good. What sort of music are you're listening to?
- 54:52Speaker 3: Well, I listened to a lot of like nineties.
- 54:54Speaker 1: R and B oh fantastic. That's good music to blast
- 54:57Speaker 1: a loud Yeah, yeah, very good. Okay, Well, now Analis
- 55:00Speaker 1: is going to do gifter curse. They have one suggestion
- 55:03Speaker 1: that we both have to speak to and then they'll
- 55:04Speaker 1: tell us if we're right or wrong. Okay, at least,
- 55:06Speaker 1: what's the gift of a curse?
- 55:08Speaker 4: Gift a curse pet strollers.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Oh it's a giff.
- 55:13Speaker 3: Why so sweet to see there's a little there's little
- 55:18Speaker 3: pets in that little baby carriage. I'm happy. Like sometimes
- 55:22Speaker 3: the baby cariach is coming towards me, I'm like, oh,
- 55:25Speaker 3: another another child in the world. And then I say, oh, no,
- 55:29Speaker 3: it's it's it's a little puppy. It's a little kid,
- 55:32Speaker 3: and it's so cute. I think they're cuterer than babies,
- 55:35Speaker 3: so I think it's a caff I agree.
- 55:38Speaker 1: I think it's a gift. I love to see one.
- 55:40Speaker 1: I love in catalogs when they have a little like
- 55:43Speaker 1: poodle and sitting in a carriage. I think it's very cute.
- 55:46Speaker 1: And again, what a great point. I'm always disappointed when
- 55:49Speaker 1: it's a baby. I have no interest in seeing a baby.
- 55:51Speaker 1: But they all look alike, they look identical to each other.
- 55:53Speaker 1: But pets, little little pets look different. Oh they're all different.
- 55:58Speaker 1: And it's a special little ride for them. You know
- 56:00Speaker 1: how excited they are.
- 56:01Speaker 3: Did you ever see one that has a little little
- 56:04Speaker 3: carriage and then side there's a raccoon smoke and a
- 56:06Speaker 3: crack pipe.
- 56:09Speaker 1: The cutest possible thing you could have made? It so sweet?
- 56:13Speaker 1: A rodent with a drug problem and a baby carriage
- 56:16Speaker 1: its own little instrument.
- 56:19Speaker 3: Paraphernal.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a gift, an absolute gift. How could that
- 56:25Speaker 1: possibly be a curse?
- 56:27Speaker 4: Of course it's a gift. There's no other possible answer.
- 56:29Speaker 1: Of course.
- 56:30Speaker 4: It's such a lovely surprise.
- 56:32Speaker 1: So sweet. Anyone who doesn't like that can just sign off,
- 56:36Speaker 1: blast off. Do you know what My boyfriend was just saying,
- 56:42Speaker 1: he thinks that they invited Oprah on the ship, and
- 56:46Speaker 1: she said, no, take Gail. Do you think that's true?
- 56:48Speaker 3: One hundred percent believe that's true. One hundred percent believe
- 56:51Speaker 3: that's true. And I also believe that Stegman is. I
- 56:53Speaker 3: was like, do it, Gail, you're so annoying. We got
- 56:56Speaker 3: to get rid of you.
- 56:57Speaker 1: He bullied her and into it. You shoved her in
- 57:00Speaker 1: there because she didn't want to go. She looked bullied, She.
- 57:04Speaker 3: Looked bullied, she was terrified the whole time. I was like,
- 57:06Speaker 3: he's making girl go. And then that's why I took
- 57:08Speaker 3: out my magnifying glass and I solved it. Steedman. Steedman
- 57:13Speaker 3: made girl go up in space.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Blast Do you think there was a fight. Do you
- 57:16Speaker 1: think they got in a fight like Oprah was arguing
- 57:19Speaker 1: with her, you have to do this.
- 57:20Speaker 3: There's fighting with oh, that's right, she had to do it.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just like an icy demand.
- 57:27Speaker 3: She's like, I'm not going, but you are last off.
- 57:32Speaker 1: Next thing, the next thing.
- 57:34Speaker 3: Girls don't know how to put on a seat belt.
- 57:36Speaker 3: That's that was the biggest training lesson that they did
- 57:39Speaker 3: for that. They're like, well, I learned how to pay
- 57:41Speaker 3: in a seat belt. Have you been to space?
- 57:47Speaker 1: But you think the other two wanted to go Katie
- 57:49Speaker 1: and Lauren.
- 57:50Speaker 3: Well, Kenny was up in Space looking for some new
- 57:52Speaker 3: fans because she's desperate. She's out, she's out of fans.
- 57:57Speaker 1: She almost got bounced off her butterfly. Did I saw that?
- 57:59Speaker 3: Yeah, shows up in the air at her at her
- 58:01Speaker 3: concert and riding a butterfly. First of all, there's too
- 58:04Speaker 3: many of these celebrities up in the air riding around
- 58:06Speaker 3: in things.
- 58:07Speaker 1: They all want to be pink. They want to be pink.
- 58:09Speaker 3: Beyonce was on a flying car and the must collaps
- 58:12Speaker 3: It almost tipped over. And then Katy Perry is the
- 58:15Speaker 3: most you know about like a skew.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Yes, they must be strapped in.
- 58:21Speaker 3: There's jop dead but it's like it's a thing now Ever,
- 58:24Speaker 3: since Pink flew around, they think that everyone can fly.
- 58:27Speaker 1: But Pink is really doing it. I've never seen her live,
- 58:29Speaker 1: but people like, even people who don't like Pink or like,
- 58:31Speaker 1: you've got to see that lady.
- 58:32Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, exactly. I mean I've seen clips on YouTube
- 58:35Speaker 3: run inside Edition, but I've first seen it live.
- 58:40Speaker 1: I would love to see Pink fly through the air. Yeah,
- 58:42Speaker 1: she should do a music less event where she just
- 58:45Speaker 1: flies through the air. I don't even care if the
- 58:47Speaker 1: music's plus.
- 58:47Speaker 3: She will she will.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Is that a pretty recent addition to her shows?
- 58:54Speaker 3: I guess maybe in the last five or six years.
- 58:57Speaker 1: Do you think there was a moment when she's just like,
- 58:59Speaker 1: we've got to do something. Well, she was a geminast,
- 59:01Speaker 1: oh before being Pink.
- 59:03Speaker 3: Before being Pink, she was a geminast. She had it
- 59:05Speaker 3: inside of her.
- 59:06Speaker 1: Oh she has a whole life, whole life before being Pink. Wow,
- 59:10Speaker 1: good for her. And now she's been copied, she probably
- 59:12Speaker 1: feels pretty good.
- 59:13Speaker 3: She should see them all, have them all go to jail,
- 59:19Speaker 3: se sue them in the jail. We can't get Jesse
- 59:23Speaker 3: smile and jail. Let's get everybody else that flies in
- 59:25Speaker 3: the air into jail. I got to get people in
- 59:29Speaker 3: the jail.
- 59:32Speaker 1: If there's one person you could put in celebrities, celebrities, yes,
- 59:35Speaker 1: what what's the number one celebrity would put in jail.
- 59:38Speaker 1: It's very difficult. You have to name one celebrity that
- 59:43Speaker 1: has to go to jail.
- 59:48Speaker 3: Well, I have had such a long list. I can't
- 59:50Speaker 3: even think of Hard Gosh, Darnutt, oh, Tom Brady.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 59:57Speaker 3: For the commercials, just just like just put them away
- 59:59Speaker 3: for a minute, because you know what, like we had
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: I thought we would see him for a while after
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: he retired from football. But then he's like talking, he's
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: on I guess he's.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Doing those horrible car rental commercials. It's not Carshield, it's
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: not Carshield. No, he's doing some sort of car rental
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: thing and trying to be funny.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: Well, he was at that wedding too that everybody.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Went to, Oh of course, did he have a date?
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: Not things, So they said he was flirting with Sweeney.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Sydney Swing Sidney, she was there. Exactly what was this guest?
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: I discussed?
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: This was like they closed they closed their eyes and
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: through a dart on a celebrity.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Board had a kid's choice.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly whoever they had gotten by it. And then
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: these ding dogs went, oh my god.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Oh I had no idea. Well, if she that would
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: be a huge character flaw. If she ends up dating
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: Tom Brady, I mean, well, send them both to Chase,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: send them to jail. That should be a new email
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: this podcast. Who should go to jail? Okay, this is
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: the final segment of the podcast. People are writing into
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I said no gifts at gmail dot com. They're sending
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: voice notes they have to be sixty seconds long, recorded
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: in a quiet place, or emails. We help me answer
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: our listener question. Okay, this is hybridger and guest. Before
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I sound like a narcissistic monster, let me explain. I'm
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: a woman in my mid thirties and a long term,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: committed relationship with another woman in her third mid thirties. Yeah, well,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: unfortunately we just have to delete the email and shut
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: down the show. Okay. The problem is she hates choosing
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: gifts and always will buy whatever I ask for. For example,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: for our most recent anniversary, she asked for gift ideas,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: so I sent her an email with a bunch of links,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: and she got me every single thing. She's so generous
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: and sweet, but she started asking me what I want
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: for my birthday. I want to give her options that
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: aren't crazy expensive, but I also don't want to lowball
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: myself either. Example of gifts I've received kitchen gadgets, designer bags,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: slash wallets, earrings, perfume, fancy makeup. I think it's obvious
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: why I'm starting to feel guilty. Okay, whatever I've tried saying,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: anything from you will be precious to me. But she's
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: never satisfied until I send her some ideas. Help me.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: You're my only hope. And that's from Nicole. So Nicole
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: has no she's hopeless. First of all, she's been taking
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: advantage of her partner. She's in this relationship where she's
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: just kind of uh draining this other woman financially. She's
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: bragging and she's a huge braggerg and she's putting herself
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: in the spotlight constantly. And now she's asking for advice.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: What do you do with someone like this? Ask her
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: for a La booboo, ask her for a black labooba.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: Ask her for a black labooba.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: If she can't get you that reship, start packing now.
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: Packing up, pack up, pack up everything, she gave you,
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: which well probably took a while. Yeah, trucks, that's everything
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: that she needs.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: She probably owns the home.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: I need some kitchen gadget. I need a fire that
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: doesn't make my my fuse box explode.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Can I have one? Yeah? This first of all, Nicole,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: start offloading some of your things. Send Peep one of
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: those thank you. Ask for two laboo boos. One should
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: be sent to Pete thank you. Maybe some uh munchausens
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: by proxy. I had to have that. I have. I
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: have bunch. She might have it with her partner, lesbian partner.
