Round Rock is set to unveil a jaw-dropping Dale Chihuly masterpiece — the first permanent glass sculpture of its kind in Central Texas — titled “Ruby Sunstone Pineapple,” weighing 460 pounds and crafted from 200 hand-blown glass pieces. Funded by hotel occupancy taxes, the $360,000 project is already ahead of schedule and will be completed by next week.
