- 0:00Hello, and welcome to HBr Talk two seventy five. Okay, I don't
- 0:09know why I did that. Sorry, guys. I think those of you
- 0:13watching Rumble maybe looking at the wrong title because it reverted my title. Hopefully
- 0:22it didn't revert everything else because that would suck anyway. Sorry. The title
- 0:28is this feminist narrative mangles potential female accountability, and I'm your host, Hannah
- 0:37Wallen here with nonsense annihilator Lauren Brooks and the personification of perceptivity Mike Stevenson,
- 0:44and tonight we're going to learn how feminist women have declared men responsible for women's
- 0:49bodily integrity. But before we get into that, we've got to do what
- 0:53we gotta do. As always, Honey Badger Radio dishes out a smorgese board
- 0:58of thought provoking discussions, and as experiences both recent and long passive demonstrated,
- 1:03the provoked thoughts are fighting back. They've made it clear that for people like
- 1:07us, relying on third party payment platforms like Patreon to fund our work is
- 1:12treading on thin ice or building our house in the path of a rapidly growing
- 1:18wildfire. In light of this, we strongly encourage our supporters to switch at
- 1:23least their support for us. To Feed the Badger dot com the most stable
- 1:26way to help us out. And if you want to tip us directly instead
- 1:30of relying on any social media platforms, tip jar. The link for that
- 1:34is feed the Badger dot com slash just the tip. And as always,
- 1:38the same risk applies to our social media platforms, which is why you should
- 1:42further provoke the thought police by tracking our thought provoking discussions on Honey Badger Brigade
- 1:48dot com, where you can find your way to all of our content,
- 1:52as well as a link to feed the Badger dot com in the dropdown menu
- 1:55at the top of the page. Except this week when it wouldn't let me
- 1:57post the article, so you'll have to to see the links for the show
- 2:02and everything. If they're not in the low bar, you'll have to check
- 2:07us out on Patreon. But uh, and I do believe the link to
- 2:12the Patreon should be in the low bar. And so I don't know what's
- 2:15going on with word Press. Apparently it doesn't like us today, but there
- 2:19you go. Yeah, all right, Well, you know, every blogging
- 2:25platform that I've been on has had issues like this, where like they update
- 2:32and all of a sudden something is wrong with every past blog you posted,
- 2:38or you can't log in, or this or that, and it's like,
- 2:42you know, all this website has to do is let you post text and
- 2:46images in a manner that is attractive to the reader and easily walked through by
- 2:54the reader's eyes. That's all it has to do. It's not that complicated.
- 2:59It's not like back in the day when if you wanted to publish something,
- 3:02you had to type it up, you had to print the pictures,
- 3:06you had to use a hundred lines screen to make sure that you weren't getting
- 3:12big blotchy black spots and white spots. One hundred lines screen had little dots
- 3:19and and so you had areas of black and white basically on there that that
- 3:27helped it create that dot pattern you see an old newspapers, right, And
- 3:30then you had to take by a hand. You had to cut out everything
- 3:35and paste it onto another page the size of your publication or at least the
- 3:40size of the uh the size that you wanted to photograph to publish your your
- 3:47publication. And you had tape that you had to use to put lines in
- 3:52between everything like everything was done by hand. And then you had to send
- 3:57it to the printer and they would photograph it and they would print your pages,
- 4:01and then somebody had to fold them together and then then then it would
- 4:06be distributed. If it was a newspaper or if it was pages, there
- 4:11was more to it than that. There was binding that had to take place
- 4:14and all of that. That's complicated. I can see where all kinds of
- 4:17ship can go wrong with that, but it drives me nuts when it goes
- 4:20wrong with blogging websites, because what the hell, it doesn't have to be
- 4:24that complicated. But anyway, there's my little rant. And now you know,
- 4:29I've been publishing for a long time because I used to do paste up
- 4:33when I worked at the newspaper in my hometown when I was growing up.
- 4:38So anyway, all of that aside, Sorry there's no blog post. There
- 4:45is a Patreon post. It has everything the blog post would have had in
- 4:47it, and it's just not on the blog. But to the item that
- 4:56we're dealing with today, we're we're told, we're told that women have a
- 5:01right to control over their own bodies. And I remember from multiple classes beginning
- 5:10in elementary health school or school health class to uh, you know, high
- 5:15school biology. Going into college, I took anatomy and physiology and every course
- 5:21I took the reproductive system is part of the body. Like I learned that
- 5:28in every course, from you know, the simple way to learn it to
- 5:31the most complex where you had to learn all the different parts and where the
- 5:36blood vessels were and what the names of the nerves were and all that shit.
- 5:40It's still all part of the body. So if you have control over
- 5:44your own body, that includes your reproductive system. That's the argument of feminists
- 5:48make when they want to have an abortion. But the whole thing falls apart
- 5:54when they start talking about who is responsible for controlling a woman's body. And
- 6:00uh, and that's basically what we're going to read about today, right from
- 6:03stem to stern. It should be hers to control. Control necessarily requires one
- 6:09to take charge, right, that that's responsibility, right, you would think,
- 6:15well, yeah, I mean unless a certain doctor Fauci tells you that
- 6:19you must the what you need to do with your body, then then it's
- 6:24oh my god, yes, give me more, daddy, government, daddy,
- 6:28daddy science. Yeah, oh yeah. And and of course you have
- 6:32to take measures that absolutely do not help you exercise any control whatsoever. Because
- 6:41politics. But uh yeah, and and they're looking at bringing that back and
- 6:46and I you know, I've been posting about that a little bit. There
- 6:51are some things about those in ninety five masks that people should know before they
- 6:57put them on their face. And we should all be holding the producers of
- 7:03protective personal protective equipment to account because there are some places where you know,
- 7:10you need that to keep dust out of your lungs and uh and it's got
- 7:15nasty stuff. There's an article about that. So so there you go.
- 7:20This is this this idea of having control over your own body only applies to
- 7:26abortion, and it doesn't come with responsibility. So the title of our article,
- 7:32this this article, by the way, and the accompanying book are our
- 7:35year old. They're not new, well they're they're more than they're more than
- 7:42eight months old. This is from like October, so it's almost a year,
- 7:45not quite. And this this woman wrote this book. She wrote a
- 7:49Twitter thread about men being responsible for pregnancy and not women, and it just
- 7:57resonated, resonated with women all over and it trended And now it's the only
- 8:05argument feminists make when they're talking about any reproductive issues at all. Whether it's
- 8:11custody, child support, parental alienation, paternal surrender doesn't matter. This is
- 8:20the argument they turned to. So I thought, you know what, we
- 8:24really need to dig into this woman. And I'm not going to read the
- 8:28book she wrote based on a stupid Yeah I know, Wait, she wrote
- 8:33the book based on a stupid Twitter thread. I should do that. I
- 8:35have some Twitter threads I could turn into a book. Yes, but shit,
- 8:43I could take these bitches classes for I have Twitter threads that are books.
- 8:48Yes, yes you do. You could write a twenty volume encyclopedia from
- 8:52your I probably could. And this is like she made money on this.
- 9:00Maybe you know if if HBr published it, then HBr could make money on
- 9:05us. That'd be kind of cool. But but yeah, so this is
- 9:09this is what this is where this argument comes from. Men are one hundred
- 9:13percent responsible for unwanted pregnancies. Gabrielle Blair on her viral Twitter tweet turned or
- 9:22her viral tweet turned book quote Ejaculate Responsibly. That's the name of the book.
- 9:31It's titled Ejaculate Responsibly, A Whole New Way to Think about Abortion,
- 9:43And the quote at the top is I'd like to see the conversation shift from
- 9:48women's bodies, which is like, the entire conversation about abortion has been about
- 9:52women's bodies, and the right is based on discussion of women's bodies. So
- 9:56that's interesting to what men can do to prevent pregnancy, said Gabrielle Blair,
- 10:01author of Ejaculate Responsibly, a whole new way to think about abortion. Is
- 10:07she meaning that she would like to fund some new research into more ways that
- 10:13men have to be able to prevent pregnancy? Is she? Is she what
- 10:16she likes to invest in vassilegel and all these you know, the other ones
- 10:20that are coming in. Is that what she's saying, because hey, I'm
- 10:24all for that, Yeah, I would love to see that. Yeah,
- 10:28But I gather that's not really what she's saying. It's what she's saying is
- 10:33how to make men responsible for the choices that I wasn't brave enough to make
- 10:39for myself. Well, and you think about it, women have a shitload
- 10:46of choices. Like you start start, women's first choice is when we say
- 10:52no, we're backed by law in every country in the world. There are
- 11:01rape laws in every country in the world. So every country in the world
- 11:05puts the full force of government authority behind our no. It's not true for
- 11:16men. In Mike's country, for instance. You know, there's there's uh,
- 11:22there's law that criminalizes not respecting a man's no, But there's also policy
- 11:33written into domestic violence law that tells the police to not believe men as quickly
- 11:43as women. Right. And then at the same time, you know,
- 11:46if if a woman does that in the UK, she doesn't get labeled a
- 11:52rapist. A man will if he does it, But a woman does not
- 11:56face the consequence of being labeled a rapist for refusing to respect a man's no.
- 12:03She is She's just labeled a sexual assailant. And in the United States,
- 12:09we thought, because feminists told us, and they've been telling us since
- 12:15twenty twelve, that they had fixed that problem and that in the United States,
- 12:22a woman who raped a man would be labeled a rapist under rape law.
- 12:28But last year the Ohio Supreme Court said no. So, and I'm
- 12:35still working on the the letter that I'm sending to my representatives in regard to
- 12:43that, but I think it's pretty much ready to go. I haven't had
- 12:48any further input, but I also haven't contacted the two organizations that I would
- 12:54like to have somebody read it over from and just double check and make sure
- 12:58I haven't left anything out or set any thing wrong. So that's what happens
- 13:03when you get sick as a dog. I was sick as a dog for
- 13:05like a whole month and am now getting back on the horse. But yeah,
- 13:13here's here's her argument, or here's her interview. I guess, and
- 13:16this is again, this is miss magazine. Just a reminder, this is
- 13:20the magazine that published the researcher who determined that sexual violence against men is not
- 13:31as big of a deal as sexual violence against women. Right, Oh,
- 13:37so we get no, We get a bigger no than men get. We
- 13:41get more types of birth control if we say yes, And of course we're
- 13:45allowed to be picky. And if we're picky, our pickiness is legitimized in
- 13:50media to the degree that if we're criticized for it by anybody, they get
- 13:56called extremists. If men are pinky, they get shamed for it. I
- 14:00remember, there's no form of birth control available to men unilaterally, unless you
- 14:05count a vasectomy as birth control. But it's not. It's well, it's
- 14:09just switching the whole tube system off, right, It's control is like being
- 14:16able to easily switch it on and off like you can with the pill.
- 14:20It's not as easily reversible as feminists like to say either, and condoms are
- 14:26not unilateral, hence the use of the word unilateral. There's nothing stopping a
- 14:30woman from demanding that a man wears a condom unless he's going to straight up
- 14:35rape her. And yeah, I think we're all against that. I think
- 14:39we can all lock arms and go yeah, don't right, Yeah, pretty
- 14:43much everybody accept rapists agrees with us on that. But oh, the UK
- 14:48government when it comes to women women raping men, they don't even get labeled
- 14:52sexual assailants, by the way, unless the man has a really good lawyer.
- 14:58Yeah, they just they just get labeled as you know, nice.
- 15:01Yeah. Well, the tough part is, you know, if if sex
- 15:05happens and the woman says I didn't consent, that gets defined as rape.
- 15:11If sex happens and the man says I didn't consent, people start questioning,
- 15:16are you just trying to get out of parenthood? Are you just mad at
- 15:20her? What? What? What is the reason that you didn't? Are
- 15:22you gay? You know? Which? What if he is? What?
- 15:26What if he is? Right? Is it. Does it only become rape
- 15:31if a woman rapes a gay man because he's clearly not gonna want it.
- 15:37But but yeah, I mean, there's noticed that you can't get hard unless
- 15:43you're sexually arouse. Whoever heard of a nervous erection? Yeah, or or
- 15:46even just the fact that it's an autonomic reaction, not a or response,
- 15:50not a conscious one. But but yeah, you know you can. Your
- 15:56brain can interfere with it, but not as as well as you'd like.
- 16:03You don't have control, necessarily a whole lot of control, or your brain
- 16:07interfering with it so much as it can be a problem your brain interfering with
- 16:11it. But but yeah, all of that, all of that advantages women
- 16:18in terms of reproductive control. We have every advantage to prevent conception in the
- 16:26first place. And you know, in in addition, when you talk about
- 16:32when we talk about birth control, we're gonna we're gonna really briefly, I'm
- 16:37not gonna make the claim that Pearl Davis makes about women having forty some types
- 16:45of birth control, because I think she's talking different brand names. But there's
- 16:49at least eleven, right, there are multiple barrier methods. There are multiple
- 16:56types or ways to use furmi side. And then there are different hormonal methods.
- 17:06And then I want to make sure I say this right, I U
- 17:10D and true uterine devices. I always want to call them I e EDS,
- 17:15which would prevent but that could be an explosive issue. But in any
- 17:25case, you know, we have we have so many different ways to block
- 17:30semen from meeting up with the egg still alive. Right. And then then
- 17:37of course there's also like women can can engage in oral women can engage in
- 17:44anal those those don't get you pregnant, Like if you get pregnant from anal
- 17:48sex, there is a problem. Also, your kids probably gonna be a
- 17:52little shit. Uh. But in any case, all that, all that
- 17:57going into this tells me that that they want to ignore all of it,
- 18:03right, they want to ignore. You can use You could be on the
- 18:06pill and still use spermicide. You can be on the pill and still use
- 18:08a barrier method. You can be on the pill, use a barrier method
- 18:12and spermicide. Or instead of the pill, you can take the shot.
- 18:17You can take an implant. There's an implant that goes in your arm.
- 18:19There's a ring that goes around your cervix, both of those are hormonal.
- 18:25You could have an IUD that that it isn't hormonal and use hormonal birth control
- 18:32and use spermicide and a barrier, and you could still say I'm still not
- 18:37doing this if you don't use a condom. So a woman can insist on
- 18:42up to like five different types of birth control methods. And if you can
- 18:48say you know, well, each one of those is only ninety five to
- 18:55ninety nine percent effective, well, yeah it has. It has a five
- 18:59percent chance at best of getting through the first one, all right, And
- 19:03if it gets through the first one, then it only has a five percent
- 19:08chance of getting through the second one. If you give them all ninety five
- 19:12percent effectiveness, some of them are more, right, So if you take
- 19:17that, that's five percent of five percent, and then each barrier that you
- 19:26add to pregnancy makes it that much harder for it to get through until you
- 19:33get to the point where the statistical likelihood of pregnancy becomes negligible. And the
- 19:38last likelihood is you're only fertile for part of the month. So even if
- 19:48you're gambling and you're not paying attention, you only have a twenty percent chance
- 19:52of conceiving without birth control. So it's ludicrous for women to say they can't
- 20:00present pregnancy, right, It's it's just absolutely ludicrous. But this is the
- 20:06argument as the political landscape continues to regress, and I like that they just
- 20:12automatically say it's regressing. It's time to rethink how we talk about abortion.
- 20:18Gabrielle Blair, a Mormon woman. I had to read that a couple of
- 20:22times honestly before I realized it was about her religion and not her Yeah,
- 20:30it's not her mental capacity, and it says more money. But sometimes it's
- 20:37just fun to lose your letters. A Mormon, contrary, contrary to populability.
- 20:44Not all Mormons and Mooroms. No, but but but I'll all abortion
- 20:48advocates are not. Really, but they have been fooled, they've been conned.
- 20:56And mother of six, so she does know how pregnancy happens. She
- 21:02does know how a woman's body works. At least, I argues that the
- 21:04onus of preventing unwanted pregnancies should fall on those who caused them. Men,
- 21:12damn it, Oh wow, God damn it, God damn it, God
- 21:17damn it. It's I mean, it's it's absurd on its face, right,
- 21:23because we all know how the sex thing works, right, and you
- 21:27all know how it works. Yes, the knock up Ferry goes down the
- 21:32street and watch you with his magic magic wand yeah, no pregnancy right in
- 21:44the booder. This this is oh my god, it hurts. It hurts
- 21:49me. Now, I think maybe this should be a good time to tell
- 21:56the story that I have, is Lauren story time? Good? So just
- 22:00yesterday I was talking to a co worker. Now, he's maybe twenty two,
- 22:07twenty three, young kid, right, And at first my first impression
- 22:11of him was that he's just, oh, he's just a fuck around.
- 22:15He doesn't really want to work. He's not really he's not really here.
- 22:18He just wants a paycheck. He's not from his series about life, YadA
- 22:22YadA. But then I had more conversations with him, and he's like,
- 22:27yeah, you know, I got this girl blah blah blah, but she
- 22:30doesn't want to settle down. She doesn't know if I'm right for her.
- 22:33And so fast forward and now she's gone. He's like, yeah, you
- 22:37know, I'm I'm really going going back to church, and you know,
- 22:41I'm not dealing with her anymore, and I really want to have like a
- 22:44family I want to get my life together and YadA YadA, all right,
- 22:49fast forward, took today or yesterday? He comes and tells me. He
- 22:53goes, guess what I said. What He goes, I'm going to Austin
- 22:57to see a girl. I said, oh shit, here we go,
- 23:03here we go. Mister I want to focus on my life and settle down.
- 23:07Now here he is chasing some more tale. I'm going to Austin's to
- 23:11see this girl. Nah. I really like her. I trust her.
- 23:15You know, she knows that I'm up here and she's down there and I'm
- 23:18doing her thing, and she's doing her things, so she doesn't really want
- 23:21like a clingy thing. I said, you better wrap it up. He
- 23:25goes, nah, but see, and here comes the excna. But it
- 23:33just feels good, right, But I trust her all shit, famous last
- 23:37words, famous last words. And I just laid into him. I said,
- 23:45listen, I don't care how much you trust her. Women lie.
- 23:49Nah, but she she got that alarm on her phone everything that tells her
- 23:53every day that she should take her birth control. Okay, but dude,
- 23:56are you watching her take it? Oh? You got a point? Yes,
- 24:03yes, so you know in a sense, I will I will concede
- 24:11to the fact that there are men out there that are irresponsible with their own
- 24:17pro creation. Right, they're just irresponsible with this firm. I told him
- 24:21you every time you fuck her, that's there's a billion blank checks you're just
- 24:26sending out right, Like, why would you do that when you're at this
- 24:33stage in your life. You're not anywhere near settled, you know what I
- 24:37mean. You don't have a career, you're still in school. Why would
- 24:41you go and do that? I'm nah, you're right, you're right,
- 24:45Okay, all right, I know I'm right, but y'all don't listen to
- 24:48me. Yeah, that's that's the This is the this is the thing.
- 24:52You know, we we tell women, damn if you don't want to,
- 24:59U be complaining and using the term deadbeat dad, which I don't necessarily consider
- 25:04to be legitimate. Stop fucking guys that you would call a deadbeat right,
- 25:12Stop sucking guys that are careless. Well, the same thing can be true
- 25:17to two guys. You know, don't don't just go out there and settle
- 25:25for missus right now, right, miss right now, right, miss right
- 25:27now has been miss right now for shipload of other guys. She's probably carrying
- 25:33something, and if you're not careful with her, she's going to be carrying
- 25:38something else. And that's that's a situation that you want to avoid because again,
- 25:45our yes has the full backing of federal law, of national law in
- 25:53most countries. Most countries have a child support system because the government likes to
- 26:00protect its own coffers, and most first world countries at least have a welfare
- 26:03system, and for some reason, politicians think that making men pay for women's
- 26:11stupid choices helps to protect their coffers from their welfare system. All it really
- 26:18does is justify more government agencies, and it costs more money than it brings
- 26:21in. But that's a whole another story there. In the meantime, one
- 26:26of the reasons, at least in the United States, one of the reasons
- 26:32that guys often don't want to use condoms is because their parents made the stupid
- 26:38decision to cut off the skin that would glide, you know, back and
- 26:42forth, that would allow them to glide and actually have sensation even with a
- 26:48condom on. And so it's unfortunate. Women blame men for not wearing condoms.
- 26:55Women blame men for not wanting to wear condoms, but women are usually
- 27:00the ones, the ones that signed the consent form at the hospital to cut
- 27:03off the skin. That would help a guy not give a shit about the
- 27:11difference between the condom and not having a condom. So, so, ladies,
- 27:15don't cut your babies. If you want them to be careful, and
- 27:19you want your grand babies to be borne into an economically and socially sound situation
- 27:30instead of a single mother home, that's one more reason to not cut your
- 27:37babies. Shouldn't cut him anyway, because for Fox's sake, it's it's their
- 27:41body right. You want your body, your choice, give him his body,
- 27:45his choice. But but yeah, as guys, it's it's a rotten
- 27:49deal. But you know, advice officially for me is don't ever trust a
- 27:56woman to tell you that she's on birth control. Don't trust her to tell
- 28:00you that she's not infected with anything. For for one thing, she might
- 28:06not know, and for another thing, she's certainly not going to want to
- 28:10tell you if she wants you to get into her pants. So no,
- 28:15you know, don't don't expose yourself like that. Don't take that risk.
- 28:19That's where that's where a lot of testicular and penal cancers come from from from
- 28:26HPV, and even if you're vaccinated, there are strains that can get through.
- 28:30And it's also where a lot of throat cancer comes from. So dental
- 28:33dams are a thing too. That's that's important. But she goes on,
- 28:40She goes on with her bullshit here in her new book, Ejaculate Responsibly,
- 28:44a whole new way to think about abortion, which is not new anymore because
- 28:48been months. Well, no, it's it's it's well, it's it's the
- 28:52same conclusion, but from a completely different direction that you would that you would
- 28:56get from from the Catholic Church, like that Monty Python song, every sperm
- 29:03is great. If a sperm gets wasted, God gets quite irate. In
- 29:06the Catholic faith, no sperm can land anywhere but inside a woman. Where
- 29:11is this is the you can't pot sperm isn't a woman gnosticism, folks.
- 29:17It's just like religion, but from completely the other direction. Yep and and
- 29:22Blair has reframed the conversation about sex, contraception, and abortion in twenty eight
- 29:27succinct arguments that we are supposed to get excited about. The book is based
- 29:33on Blair's twenty eighteen viral tweet men are one hundred percent responsible for unwanted pregnancies.
- 29:41Blair posits that men should share contraceptive responsibility and become active participants in conversations
- 29:48around birth control. Well then you just you just went back on what you
- 29:52said. Either they're one hundred percent responsible or they should share shit shit share.
- 30:00Yeah, So I'm gonna look at the tweet if it's still up,
- 30:06because that's that's the argument. Let's see if it's hopefully I'm not blocked.
- 30:14Oh I'm not logged in. Let's see if it lets me. Yeah,
- 30:19this might be. It's not gonna show the whole thing. What even happens
- 30:30when men try to enter the conversation. Women shit all over everything. They
- 30:36say, Oh you're a man, you shouldn't have an opinion. We'll get
- 30:40the fuck out of here. Then you don't really want to hear. You
- 30:42don't want to share responsibility. You just want to focus the blame on men.
- 30:48Just be fucking honest. What he wants. What she wants is to
- 30:55argue that women are not responsible for pregnancy. Unlike period. She wants to
- 31:02argue that because women are not, in her opinion, responsible for pregnancy,
- 31:07then it's a they can be considered victims of it, and abortion should be
- 31:14legal because women are victims of their own choices that they're not responsible for.
- 31:21Like, that's the whole point of this article. It adds as has actually
- 31:26nothing to do with men. It's all about but the feminists do blame men
- 31:32for anti abortion arguments, even though most of us who are anti abortion are
- 31:38women. The majority of us who are anti abortion are women. Okay,
- 31:41so you have to be as signed in now if somebody makes a Twitter thread,
- 31:45you now have to be signed into Twitter to see it. So she
- 31:52says, I'm a mother of six and a Mormon. I have a good
- 31:56understanding of arguments surrounding abortion, religious and otherwise. I've been listening to men
- 32:04grandstand about women's reproductive rights, and I'm convinced men actually have zero interest in
- 32:09stopping abortion. Here's why. And she goes on to say, if you
- 32:15want to stop abortion, you need to prevent unwanted pregnancies, and men are
- 32:19a hundred percent responsible for unwanted pregnancies. No, for real, they are.
- 32:25Perhaps you are thinking it takes two, and yes, it does take
- 32:30two for intentional pregnancies. So here's here's where she's gonna make the argument that
- 32:37if you gamble, you didn't consent to lose the gamble. Oh wow,
- 32:45But all unwanted pregnancies are caused by the irresponsible ejaculations of men. Period.
- 32:52Don't believe me. Let me walk you through it. Let's start with us.
- 32:55Women can only get pregnant about two days each month. That's true,
- 33:00and that's for a limited number of years. That's also true. Women are
- 33:06aware of this, but women don't necessarily pay attention to which days those are.
- 33:13That's one area of responsibility. It's your body. You should know what
- 33:16it's doing. Right. She doesn't argue that, So she argues that makes
- 33:22twenty four days a year a woman might get pregnant, but men can cause
- 33:27pregnancy three hundred and sixty five days a year. There's her first flaw.
- 33:32Not if they're having sex with a woman who can't get pregnant that day,
- 33:37right, And I don't know, I kind of want to delve into that
- 33:44a little bit deeper. I know, I would think from what I've always
- 33:47been taught, that you have two days of optimal time for ovulation, right,
- 33:55But I've been to I've always heard you can if you ovulate and you're
- 34:02on your period, then you can still get pregnant. I don't know how
- 34:06the two happen at the same time, but I don't. I don't know,
- 34:10I don't. Yeah. So, but there's the thing. Yeah,
- 34:15the first thing she's got wrong is it's you're right, it's two days of
- 34:19optimal chance, and women who have fertility issues it's two days of likelihood.
- 34:24Right. But when you ovulate, your your ovum lives, if I remember,
- 34:32right, for about five days right before before you you know, you
- 34:38drop the egg out and it's gone. It it starts out, has to
- 34:44go through the fallopian tube before it hits the uterus, and often fertility happens,
- 34:51fertilization happens in the fallopian tube, and an implantation takes place in the
- 34:55uterus. Sometimes it goes wrong and takes place in the fallopian tube, and
- 35:01that's a pregnancy that it's fair to terminate because it's never going to survive.
- 35:07The baby cannot survive that. So all you're deciding with an abortion at that
- 35:12point is whether the baby's death is going to take the mother along with it.
- 35:16Right. So there's there's that, But semen also has the possibility of
- 35:25living for more than a short period of time, and so you actually have
- 35:31five or six day period of time during which you actually can get pregnant after
- 35:40ovulation, and I think it's like forty eight hours for semen, right,
- 35:46Yeah, And the environment that you create in your uterus depending on what you
- 35:51eat. This is something like women have all these these tricks and tips for
- 35:54determining the sex of their child based on this knowledge. So it's not like
- 36:00women don't know this, right, It's it's just that feminists and that that
- 36:09includes right wing feminists like this one, like to pretend that this information isn't
- 36:15out there. Women will tell you if you want to have if you want
- 36:19to have a boy, eat things that are more likely to make the environment
- 36:23inside your uterus less less acidic, because the semen that are going to the
- 36:31sperm that are going to make your child male swim faster. But if you
- 36:37want to have a girl, make it acidic in there. Eat hot peppers,
- 36:42eat lemons and oranges and grapefruits and all that kind of shit, because
- 36:47it'll it'll make it more acidic. It'll kill off the sperm that are gonna
- 36:52make a boy and the girl's sperm apparently have thicker mucous membranes that cover them
- 36:59or whatever, and they survive that environment slightly longer. To me, I'm
- 37:05not sure if any of that actually works. Didn't try it about it.
- 37:10It's yeah, it sounds like bullshit. It's old wives tales. But it
- 37:15still stems from knowing that it takes time for spurn to get to the egg,
- 37:21and that it takes time for eggs to get down the fallopian tubes into
- 37:24the uterus, and that there is more than just the two day period where
- 37:30you know, those are those those two days are optimum least risk of an
- 37:34ectopic pregnancy, least risk of failure to fertilize altogether, fertilizing too late to
- 37:40implant, things like that. So there you go, like, and this
- 37:46if you want a citation for that, that idea that the wives tale.
- 37:52The wives in my family have said that for generations, including the midwives.
- 37:59But but like I said, it's it's untested. In my case, I
- 38:04really didn't didn't do anything to try to determine the sex of the baby.
- 38:12So but she goes on twenty four days a year that a woman might get
- 38:15pregnant, Well, that's not true about sixty days actually, and it doesn't
- 38:23absolve her of responsibility for the situation. It actually gives her information she can
- 38:30use to manage the situation. And there is actually a method of birth control.
- 38:36Most people make jokes about it, but it's a real thing called the
- 38:40rhythm method, where you abstain during that ideal time to get pregnant, and
- 38:47you only have sex outside of that ideal time to get pregnant. And I
- 38:52wouldn't put my faith in it, but you can always add that to your
- 38:59spectra. I'm of birth control. If you are using barrier methods and other
- 39:02things, you could say, all right, well, this week I'm more
- 39:06fertile. We're gonna watch movies instead of doing the deed. You know,
- 39:09We're go add dancing or use our energy some other way. There you go,
- 39:15much much like happens during the period of release. I'm not sure what
- 39:22the polite thing to call it is. You extend it forward a couple of
- 39:23days because because the fertility days come just before the period days, right at
- 39:31that wrong? Ye? No, that's that's about right. That's about right.
- 39:35You can for about a week before your period and a few days into
- 39:39your period, you're at risk you consider yourself at risk because you don't exactly
- 39:45know when you've ovulated. So there is that, But that's her first argument.
- 39:53She goes on, if you're a man who ejaculates multiple times a day,
- 39:58you could cause multiple pregnancies. Ay this again, she's talking about this
- 40:06like men are just walking down the street ejaculating and women come along and oh
- 40:09shit, oops, I fell in a puddle of pregnancy. What was that
- 40:13doing in the middle of the sidewalk. Stop ejaculating your responsibly men. You
- 40:17know there used to be laws about no spinning on the sidewalk, right,
- 40:22Come on, ladies, spect your eyes. So we went hiking last week
- 40:34and I was doing just fine and then put them all of a sudden,
- 40:37out of the bushes jumps this horrific, giant, one eyed trouser snake.
- 40:45Anyway, I think, give me shooting shooting jizz at him like the fucking
- 40:52super soakers of those water guns. Jez. When I was a kid,
- 40:59we used to have square gun fights. That don't don't put that image in
- 41:01my head, man. Those were like a neighborhood wide thing. We'd have
- 41:04four blocks of kids running around, peeking around corners and shooting with our little
- 41:08squirt guns. Like, that's what it's like in her mind, except they're
- 41:15all filled with cheese. It's not like, you know, when a guy's
- 41:19at home and and and doing, isn't thing in his own room without anybody
- 41:24else pregnant or at present present that he uh you know, shoots off and
- 41:30boom. They get out their little map. Oh, where's the girlfriend's house,
- 41:34let's go care. You know, No, she was there for the
- 41:39conception. Every single time conception doesn't happen without both sexes pregnant. That means
- 41:46the woman is involved, and she was active in the creation of the baby.
- 41:54So this is there we go in theory, she says a man could
- 41:58cause a thousand plus wanted pregnancies in just one year. Oh my gosh,
- 42:05stop running around and hitting women with your magic dicks. Guys, it's dangerous.
- 42:12So she goes on it. Sure is when you stick that made you
- 42:17find you find the wrong one man, you will have a stalker for life.
- 42:22Jesus right there, there is that issue as well. The form you
- 42:27know forget STIs forget pregnancy. There is the woman who who doesn't let go
- 42:32even after it's obvious the relationship is not going to work out, she says,
- 42:39And though their sperm gets crappier as they age, by the way,
- 42:44that happens with your eggs too, lady, right, you pass the good
- 42:49ones first. Men can cause unwanted pregnancies from puberty till death. Well,
- 42:54technically that's not true, simply because as a man gets older, he,
- 43:01like a woman who gets older, starts to deteriorate and at some point may
- 43:06become helpless. And most of the men that I took care of in nursing
- 43:12homes were in some way or another wounded, like physically, not just psychologically,
- 43:22but physically. They had bad backs, they had there was there was
- 43:25a double amputee there. You know, I've had I've taken care of guys
- 43:31that have had strokes. I've taken care of guys that have had heart attacks
- 43:35that barely could walk down the hallway by themselves. I haven't taken care of
- 43:42in any nurse at home where I worked. I haven't taken care of any
- 43:45man that was not more helpless than at least most of the women that were
- 43:52that were living there. So it's bullshit there too, because that's one where
- 43:57like again I'm not counting, like when you say unwanted pregnancy. If you
- 44:06ordered a baby and one was delivered to your uterus, you don't get to
- 44:10say no, you know, there's no takebacks here. Okay, we don't
- 44:15get to say that you didn't order that. Yeah, you can't return it
- 44:19to Amazon, like and if it if Like you said, it takes two
- 44:22to to tangle. Only when it comes to a pregnancy, you're separating that
- 44:28from unwanted The only men men percent responsible for unwanted pregnancies. It's only the
- 44:36unwanted thing that you're pointing to. That. But if both of you don't
- 44:40want it, then you're both responsible for the factor of unwantedness. Exactly if
- 44:46if you want to so, just want a baby, that's that's a solution.
- 44:52Just want it. You can. You can make yourself want something,
- 44:54can't you. But apparently it's only men who actively unwant exactly. Yep,
- 45:01And that's that's that's the situation. Uh. Women, women pretty much don't
- 45:09have any agency according to these people. Women, you can't want something if
- 45:15you don't have agency, right, So, all babies technically are unwanted if
- 45:22you're if you ask a feminist, but unless unless, unless she wants the
- 45:27baby. Yeah, then it's a wanted pregnancy, and then suddenly she has
- 45:31the agency to want it. Right, it's it's only her say that matters
- 45:36whether or not it's wanted or unwanted pregnancy, because there's been plenty of men
- 45:42who did not want the mother to go through with the abortion, and she
- 45:45just went right along and did whatever she wanted to do. Yep. You
- 45:50know, so let's not put all the onus on men in regards to unwanted
- 45:57pregnancies and if if unwanted pregnancies or well, I'm not going to go down
- 46:02that road because I was gonna talk about like financial abortions, yeah, for
- 46:07men, but that's not really the case in this situation because anyway, let's
- 46:17move on. Yeah, well to talk about financial abortion. You know,
- 46:22Like my bottom line on that is this, do women have something that is
- 46:27an equivalent? The answer is yes, and they make the decision for both
- 46:30the mother and the father. They don't just make the decision for themselves.
- 46:36Safe haven abandonment. If they don't give the if they don't give any clues
- 46:42to the people that are receiving the baby at a safe haven abandonment center,
- 46:45they don't get arrested for that they don't get told they can't drop the baby
- 46:49off. They're still allowed to do the abandonment. Those people are supposed to
- 46:52try to get her to say who the dad is, but she didn't have
- 46:55to, right and they're supposed to try to find the dad, but that
- 47:01kind of relies on having clues. Yeah, yeah, so somebody he makes
- 47:08the decision. If paternal surrender just makes the decision for the dad, it
- 47:15leaves the decision open so that the mother can make her choice independently of his.
- 47:21She's not required to go along with his choice. She can retain custody
- 47:23if she wants to, she just can't drag him along with her, whereas
- 47:30safe haven abandonment does make the decision for both the mother and the father.
- 47:35The father can't do it if you know, on his own, if she
- 47:37has custody, it's kidnapping. And if she does it, she's she's not
- 47:43in any trouble even if she doesn't say who he is. So I call
- 47:47bullshit on the whole complaint about paternal surrender thing until safe haven abandment abandonment goes
- 47:52away. Yeah, I'm just gonna say I saw somebody in one of your
- 47:58threads who was arguing that at well, if a woman gives up a child
- 48:04at a safe abandonment, well she gives up the rights for both of them,
- 48:07and so well, you know that's that's that's on that should be on
- 48:10it. It's his responsibility too. He has no choice in the situation,
- 48:15you idiot. It's it's completely her choice. How can you argue that he
- 48:21had any say in it when she can do it freely of her own will.
- 48:25Yeah, and and and then you also have you know, abortion,
- 48:30which again the father gets no saying it. There's a lot of people that
- 48:35are like, well, you shouldn't oppose abortion because it's an advantage for men.
- 48:37Wow, how you have zero control over it? Right? And I
- 48:43will say this. Feminists argue that victims of rape who are female who get
- 48:51pregnant are a reason why abortion needs to be accessible to women who are not
- 48:58victims of rape, that we shouldn't even be allowed to ask. All women
- 49:00should have access to abortion so that the utterly important factor of rape victims being
- 49:08able to abort abort if they get pregnant is preserved without them having to go
- 49:15through any uncomfortable questioning and all that stuff. All right, that's fine,
- 49:19you you want to claim that I disagree with that argument, but let's let's
- 49:23take that and apply that logic to female perpetrated rape. All right. If
- 49:32you are a person who argues that abortion should be unrestricted so that the less
- 49:42than two percent of abortions done annually on babies of rape victims can be done
- 49:52without any embarrassment, then you should accept that if a woman rapes a male
- 50:00victim and becomes pregnant, he should have the right to force her to abort
- 50:05if he does not want the child to be born. And I don't think
- 50:09anyone's in favor of that except some really fucked up people on probably both sides
- 50:15of the aisle, extreme sides of the aisle. Ye, But it is
- 50:19it is the logical end of that right that all right. You know,
- 50:23he doesn't have any say in the matter if she wants to abort, and
- 50:29she has the right to abort because the child has been inflicted on her against
- 50:32her will. Well, in a pregnancy that occurs from raping a male victim,
- 50:42he's had the child inflicted on him, and the state says he owes
- 50:46child support to whoever has custody of that child if he is not the one
- 50:52who gets custody of that child. So if the child goes into foster care,
- 50:54he has to pay foster care child support. If the rapist retains custody,
- 51:00he has to pay child support to his rapist. It is as unfair
- 51:07as making a woman to carry a term before choosing whether or not to give
- 51:10the baby up for adoption. To make a man pay child support for a
- 51:15child he didn't want to conceive and didn't choose to risk conceiving, right,
- 51:21So obviously the solution is if abortion is nothing, if it's no big deal,
- 51:27you can't argue bodily autonomy for a rapist, right, a rapist that
- 51:31forced the child, the conception of the child on the father, like,
- 51:37you can't argue that it's a bodily autonomy issue to make her undo that,
- 51:43especially if you're, you know, arguing that it's not a child until she
- 51:50determines it's a child's status by giving birth, you just forbid her from giving
- 51:55birth. You are not allowed to give birth to a child by somebody you're
- 52:00raped without his consent. This is where it's helpful that we have two different,
- 52:04two different definitions of the word labor. You can't force a woman to
- 52:07go through labor for it can be up to a couple of days. How
- 52:13much labor does a man have to go through for eighteen years of child support?
- 52:16It's quite a lot. It's a bit more than it's a bit more
- 52:19than a couple of days. Yep. So yeah, it's so thank on
- 52:22that one. Abortion advocates and and women who blame men for pregnancy. That's
- 52:29that's a that's a big question right there. Whose fault is it when she
- 52:34rapes him unquestionably when she uses a gun, or she uses drugs to make
- 52:39him unaware of what's going on, which can happen without interfering with his ability
- 52:44to perform right, or she uses him being under the age of majority,
- 52:52where he's incapable of appraising his actions sufficiently and cannot legally consent right. You
- 52:59know, how does how does that work? How does that make him responsible?
- 53:04So she goes on with us? What about birth control? If a
- 53:07woman doesn't want to risk and unwanted pregnancy, why wouldn't she just use birth
- 53:12control? If a woman can manage to figure out how to get an abortion,
- 53:15surely she can get birth control, right, great questions. Modern birth
- 53:22control is probably the greatest invention of the last century, and I am very
- 53:24grateful for it. Well, yeah, you should thank men for that,
- 53:29Gabrielle. The side effects for many women are ridiculously harmful. So now she's
- 53:34going to talk about birth control as if only hormonal birth control exists, birth
- 53:42control pills specifically so ridiculous that when an oral contraception for men was created it
- 53:51wasn't approved. Actually, the side effects of the oral contraceptive for men that
- 53:59was under investigation that wasn't approved were not as minor as the side effects that
- 54:07women experience from hormonal birth control. I stroke is rare, it happens,
- 54:14but there was quite a significant level of dysfunction in that that study. It
- 54:22wasn't. It was causing infertility, permanent infertility and everything. It was really
- 54:27bad, and it wasn't. The side effects were not rare like that.
- 54:34So and yeah, she she goes into the list being a third as long
- 54:39as the known side effects for women's oral complication contraception. So I'm gonna address
- 54:45that too, right, So, if you had a list of things that
- 54:49somebody did to you, and I say, you know, my boss is
- 54:53worse than your boss, right, My boss doesn't doesn't to include me in
- 55:01the happy birthday wishes that she sends around every year to all the employees on
- 55:07their birthdays. She forgets mine every year. Right as this, I'm not
- 55:10talking about my real boss. That that doesn't happen in real life. But
- 55:14let's say that's that's one of my complaints, right, say I have a
- 55:15complaint that my boss doesn't approve my time off requests but approves other people's time
- 55:22off requests. Those are shitty things, right, My boss talks down to
- 55:24me, pretty shitty. You know. My boss gives me, gives me
- 55:30the crap jobs, the crap tasks, and saves the easy ones for her
- 55:35favorite employee. Got a bunch of maybe I could have fifty different complaints that
- 55:39are on that level if we get a If I'm work in retail, my
- 55:43boss makes me deal with the angry customers and gives the nice customers to the
- 55:47other cashier if we have to, if we have to decide on the temperature
- 55:53the store is going to be, and I don't get a say in it
- 55:55because my boss doesn't think I should, you know, or anything like that.
- 56:00Little things like that, and maybe one complaint of you know, I
- 56:05have been scheduled to work outside my stated hours of availability. Something more serious.
- 56:10My boss is threatening to fire me because I won't take time from my
- 56:14other job to work at this job, you know, something like that.
- 56:16So you got one very serious complaint. And then you know my boss is
- 56:21worse than worse than your boss, because I got five hundred little complaints like
- 56:24that, right, And you say, well, my boss locked the office
- 56:29door and raped me. Well, you only have one complaint. My boss
- 56:34is obviously worse. I have five hundred complaints and you only have one complaint.
- 56:38Nobody's going to buy that. That's bullshit. But but that's what this
- 56:45woman is doing with birkentroll. Right. I've had I've been on the pill.
- 56:51It has side effects. They suck. None of them are that bad
- 56:53for the overwhelming majority of women. My mom had worse side effects when she
- 57:00was on it than I I did, and she warned me against using it
- 57:04because of those side effects. But I didn't have those problems, and I
- 57:07used I used the pill for a while, and I used the shot for
- 57:10a while and I was fine. Right, But you know the side effects
- 57:17of the male birth control. Some of those side effects included serious, serious
- 57:24health conditions, and where they say, well, you know, less than
- 57:29two percent of women who take hormonal birth control have have a risk of blood
- 57:37clotting and strokes. It's it was a much higher percentage for men. It
- 57:43was not a safe gamble, you know, And there weren't ways to be
- 57:47like, well, you know, you have this historical condition, health condition
- 57:51in your family, you probably shouldn't use these. It was it was kind
- 57:57of random with men. So it's it's bull ship for her to make that
- 58:00argument. But let's say birth control pills, all hormonal birth control is bad.
- 58:07All right, Imagine we take hormonal birth control off the table. Women
- 58:14still have female condoms, still have diaphragms, still have contraceptive gel, contraceptive
- 58:21foam, contraceptive film which is kind of a barrier that you attach it to
- 58:25your cervix, and then they also have IUDs that are not hormonal. Right,
- 58:35so you have all of those things. You still can refuse to consent
- 58:37without the use of a condom, and you can still do oral or anal
- 58:44instead of vaginal, like you don't necessarily have to have vaginal penetration for sex.
- 58:51Like women know that there's a whole series of things you can do there,
- 58:55you can still use at least three different types of birth control, including
- 59:00him using a condom, and never change your hormonal balance. So there's that.
- 59:10She says. There's a lot to be unpacked and just in that story.
- 59:15But I'll simply point out in case you didn't know, that, as
- 59:19a society, we really don't mind if women suffer mentally or physically as long
- 59:22as it makes things easier for men. I'm going to repeat her saying this
- 59:29because this is such like you could fertilize your neighbor's farm with this one.
- 59:37She says, as a society, we really don't mind if women suffer mentally
- 59:43or physically as long as it makes things easier for men. Lady who takes
- 59:52who collects your trash, Lady who comes in a truck and picks up things
- 59:57that you throw out, even if they stink, even they're heavy, throws
- 1:00:00them in the back of the truck, takes the risk of working around a
- 1:00:06crusher, drives that humongous vehicle. It takes all of the contamination risks dealing
- 1:00:14with your trash and everybody else's who does that. How many of those people
- 1:00:17are women exactly, you know, and they love to complain about unpaid labor,
- 1:00:25the unpaid labor that women do. Well, what about the unseen labor
- 1:00:30that men do, the unrespected work that men do? Please give me a
- 1:00:38break. Yeah, I don't get I don't get paid to sit on my
- 1:00:43ass and fold laundry and watch TV. While if I have a kid,
- 1:00:49I maybe you know, make some food for it and you know, play
- 1:00:54with it a little bit and you know, come on, God, just
- 1:01:00stop it. This is the life that you chose, and you complain about
- 1:01:04it. Give me a break. Parenting is tough for both sexes. Like
- 1:01:07and I will, I will say it is. There's a lot of work
- 1:01:10involved in that, but it's worked that you chose to do, and it's
- 1:01:15worked that you knew was unpaid before you chose to do it. Same thing
- 1:01:19living at cohabitating, Like you, you picked up that work that wasn't work
- 1:01:23that somebody dumped on you. You picked up that work and now you're complaining
- 1:01:27about it. But I mean, like, just just that invisible the guy
- 1:01:30that takes takes your trash every week, the invisible work of the guy that
- 1:01:37that gets your power back on after a thunderstorm, right right, The invisible
- 1:01:43work of the guy that gets your power back on after a squirrel decides to
- 1:01:46barbecue itself on the power lines, and you know, or in the power
- 1:01:51we've had some horrific accidents of late, like they they pop actually like oh
- 1:02:00no, yeah, it's really not pretty. But and then a bunch of
- 1:02:07men have to come in and they have a whole series of steps they have
- 1:02:09to take before they can even start the job, because you want to make
- 1:02:14sure that you are not going to come into contact with live electrical feed because
- 1:02:20it'll stay live and you won't. But yeah, and and and it's like
- 1:02:25it cooks you. So yeah, those women don't think about that. Women
- 1:02:30don't Most women don't know that the the utility that gives the you power,
- 1:02:38that brings power to your house has a job in areas where there are power
- 1:02:45lines that are not otherwise accessible, where one man flies a helicopter with a
- 1:02:51metal platform sticking out from the side of it, and another man sits on
- 1:02:54that platform and works on a power line repair, Like he has to do
- 1:03:00maintenance and repair of a power line that way because it's too high up where
- 1:03:05there's other no other way to get to it. Right. Those those are
- 1:03:08things that women don't think about women, don't think about when they put gas
- 1:03:13in their car. They don't think about the roughnecks working on oil rigs or
- 1:03:19in oil fields and the risks they take. The machinery that they work with
- 1:03:22can crush them. It's one of the most horrific accidents mister Ballin talks about
- 1:03:29and on his YouTube channel is it's something that happened on an oil rig to
- 1:03:37a guy like I, I can't even talk about it on this channel.
- 1:03:39It's it's not our style, and I think that would But those risks,
- 1:03:46those types of risks, they'll sit down to a fish dinner and not think
- 1:03:52about the men who risk their lives deep sea fishing in the ocean to get
- 1:03:57that fish. They'll order, they'll order crab meat at at a fancy restaurant
- 1:04:01and not realize that chances are when a ship goes out crabbing, it's going
- 1:04:09to come back with one dead. Guy like that's that's yeah, It's that's
- 1:04:16not even just chances, it's there will be injuries. There's there's a pretty
- 1:04:20high chance of death, and it's it's a very high risk. But if
- 1:04:25those things weren't available for them, they would complain right, absolutely would complain.
- 1:04:31They don't think about the fact that, you know, we hear all
- 1:04:38the time about frontline workers. Uh in COVID, the nurses that were frontline
- 1:04:43workers. But you know, before there was COVID, there were other infectious
- 1:04:47diseases, many many of them are more dangerous, less curable, less survivable,
- 1:04:57more contagious, and the profession of infectious disease specialist is dominated by men.
- 1:05:05Men are at war with bacteria. Men are at war with flesh eating
- 1:05:10bacteria, with antibiotic resistant gut bacteria, and and and so on, viruses
- 1:05:18that you don't want to know about. But yeah, it's you know,
- 1:05:26we don't mind women suffering as long as it makes things easier for men,
- 1:05:30like the bullshit I need my hip waiters. Jeez m But good news,
- 1:05:38she says men. Even with the horrible side effects, women are still very
- 1:05:43willing to use birth control. Unfortunately now it's harder to get it than it
- 1:05:47should be. Which that's not true either. No, it's not at all.
- 1:05:55Jesus Christ. Do you have a job. I'm pretty sure if you
- 1:05:58do. Most people who work have medical insurance. I know that there are
- 1:06:02certain jobs that do not provide medical insurance, but you still have access to
- 1:06:09over the counter birth control methods, so spare me well, and if you
- 1:06:15don't go to your doctor. Right, there's the many minute clinics or whatever
- 1:06:20at CBS, and I think Walgreens has them, Kroger some Krogers have them,
- 1:06:27Walmart has them. Of course, Walmart's an imitation of CBS, so
- 1:06:31that's to be expected. But like all of these different pharmacies and department stores
- 1:06:39that have pharmacies have little clinics. And then you also have planned Parenthood,
- 1:06:45which if you cannot tell me that planned Parenthood helps you get free birth control
- 1:06:50pills and helps you with a free appointment for birth control pills, you know,
- 1:06:57if you can't can't admit that to me, then I win the argument
- 1:07:01that planned Parenthood only exists for abortion, right, all right, because it's
- 1:07:06obviously not helping you get birth control. Oh no, but they do breast
- 1:07:11cancer screeny, Hannah, exactly, yeah, yeah, and they claim to
- 1:07:21do things for men too. But then when you look for where are the
- 1:07:26clinics that do that? Almost none, almost none of their clinics do that.
- 1:07:30But yeah, so it's not really that hard to get birth control options
- 1:07:35for women, don't necessarily require you to go to your family doctor. You
- 1:07:41can go to a clinic. The reason that hormonal birth control requires a physician
- 1:07:46and a prescription is because it is a drug and it can interact with other
- 1:07:53drugs. You need to have the information that if you take it with the
- 1:07:58wrong drugs, they can make it ineffective or they can make it over effective,
- 1:08:01and it can cause you problems. And it you know, there are
- 1:08:04certain foods you should't eat while you're taking it if you want it to be
- 1:08:08effective, and then you have to take at the same time every day if
- 1:08:11you want it to be effective. But that's that's part of the course.
- 1:08:15Like my allergy medicine, if I take prescription allergy medicine instead of just the
- 1:08:19over the counter stuff, I have to go to a doctor and get that
- 1:08:24medicine. Right They as as a medicine that kept me from dying when I
- 1:08:29was a kid. I couldn't get that without going to a doctor, So
- 1:08:31I don't I don't think complaints that the same is true with hormones hormonal medicine
- 1:08:38that you're you're taking for birth control are legitimate. Those are not legitimate complaints,
- 1:08:45especially when if you don't want to use that. There's a whole bunch
- 1:08:47of other things you can do instead, And yeah, it doesn't have to
- 1:08:53be free. So in fact, there are many people try to make it
- 1:09:00more expensive by fighting to make sure insurance companies refuse to cover it. That's
- 1:09:02not true, how although they do fight for insurance companies right to not cover
- 1:09:09it, but that doesn't ensure that they won't. And granted, people think
- 1:09:15that an insurance company refusing to cover the drug would would save the money.
- 1:09:18But if you get pregnant and you give birth at the hospital, your insurance
- 1:09:23company covers that, and then they cover the child's medical care. So I
- 1:09:30think they would find birth control to be cheaper. She says. Oral contracept
- 1:09:38is for women can't be acquired easily or at the last minute. So the
- 1:09:43only part of that that's true is the last bit. They can't be acquired
- 1:09:46at the last minute. You can't go out five minutes before you're gonna have
- 1:09:48sex and get birth control pills. Yeah, but you can get as she's
- 1:09:55about to also say, and they don't work instantly, and they don't exactly
- 1:10:00how the morning after pill works. I don't know if that's technically contraception.
- 1:10:04But it kind of is, isn't it. It keeps plantation from happening.
- 1:10:11Yeah, And as long as you do in the first in the No,
- 1:10:15as long as you do it in the first a couple of days or whatever
- 1:10:17it is. It's not instantaneous. Yes, it is instantaneous. It's as
- 1:10:21instantaneous as any pill can be. Yeah, surely. But you know,
- 1:10:28supermacidal gel foam, the sponge, the film, those are all you can
- 1:10:36go out to any pharmacy where you get condoms and you can get all of
- 1:10:41those things. Diaphragms have to be fitted, but if you're going to be
- 1:10:45sexually active, you should take care of your sexual health and and do that
- 1:10:53ahead of time. I U d's also have to be done, you know,
- 1:10:57with a doctor's care, because that's that's an actual invasive procedure. But
- 1:11:00all of the spermacidal things, the female condom, those are all things that
- 1:11:05you can just go get right, so you can add your birth control beyond
- 1:11:13his condom, even if you don't take or monial birth control. So she
- 1:11:19goes on and they don't work instantly yet, but some things do. If
- 1:11:25we're talking about the pill, it requires consistent daily use, and doesn't leave
- 1:11:29much room for mistakes, forgetfulness, or unexpected disruptions to daily schedule. Again,
- 1:11:33the side effects can be brutal. I'm still grateful for it. Please
- 1:11:38don't take it away like you know, I don't care. If you're grateful
- 1:11:43for it. You're responsible if you decide that's the route you're going to go
- 1:11:47for maintaining it. If you get a car and you drive your car and
- 1:11:56you get into an accident and you kill somebody in the accident, you don't
- 1:12:00get to tell the court, well, I forgot to get my brakes done
- 1:12:06so long that they just stopped working, and then I forgot that I didn't
- 1:12:12have breakes, and I went out and drove my car like that. You
- 1:12:15that doesn't absolve you of responsibility. That actually can add an enhancement to your
- 1:12:21crime. If you knowingly drove a defective vehicle. Right, I was texting,
- 1:12:28That actually gets you more in trouble. I was drunk. That actually
- 1:12:31gets you more in trouble. Right only when you're talking about well, I
- 1:12:35shouldn't I shouldn't have to deal with this pregnancy because because because I forgot to
- 1:12:42take my birth control pill, I was distracted I ate the wrong thing.
- 1:12:45I failed to maintain the integrity of my system. Right, That's that's your
- 1:12:51fault. You did that. It's not only inexcusable, it's just lazy.
- 1:13:02It's just plain fucking lazy. Yeah, you know it's it's sad. I
- 1:13:11mean, so you think about this. I want to go back to what
- 1:13:15I said earlier, or said in the uh. I guess I didn't say
- 1:13:18it in the opener, but I did say it in our low bar.
- 1:13:25Right. The argument for ending the financial restrictions on women under coverture, which
- 1:13:32were in place because men were obligated to manage women's money and and uh financially
- 1:13:40support their welfare, and and it was very there were there was a set
- 1:13:44of ethics around that, like if she came into the marriage with property,
- 1:13:47he got control over it, but he was only allowed to use it in
- 1:13:50her interests. He wasn't allowed to like just take it for himself and use
- 1:13:55it, and and so that was ended. The argument for ending that was
- 1:14:01that women have agency, that they are adults, that they are fully capable
- 1:14:05of managing their own affairs, and they should be able to manage their own
- 1:14:10money and get bank accounts and get credit cards and run up debt and they
- 1:14:16should should be expected to pay it themselves, and we aren't placing any additional
- 1:14:23demands on men, which is bullshit. Women run up debt all the time
- 1:14:26and then men are expected to pay it. But still, that was the
- 1:14:30argument. Women have that agency to manage their own financial system and to have
- 1:14:35financial autonomy, and abortion is the argument that women have their right to reproductive
- 1:14:42autonomy, which comes with the same kind of responsibility to manage your system.
- 1:14:47And yet here we are being told how hard it is and how old women
- 1:14:51can't manage our own system. Should we go back to covidture? Should we
- 1:14:56have guardians that women women can't go out on a date with without a Oh
- 1:15:03shit, I can't think of the term when you chaperone? Yes, like
- 1:15:09women can't go out on a date without chaperones because they can't decide whether or
- 1:15:12not to have sex. They can't make sure that their birth control is managed,
- 1:15:15you know, and so on. Right, so she says, no
- 1:15:20ding ding was alts the wedding ring. There you go, she says,
- 1:15:29I'm just saying women's birth control isn't simple or easy. In contrast, let's
- 1:15:32look at birth control for men, meaning condoms, because guys, you only
- 1:15:38have one option. Yeah, condoms are readily available at all hours, in
- 1:15:45expensive, convenient, and don't require a prescription. They're effective and work on
- 1:15:49demand. And how effective how effective are they the jury's out, but it's
- 1:15:54ninety something percent. Let's go with ninety five percent. That means every twenty
- 1:16:00times you have sex, you get pregnant. Ones not particularly effective, and
- 1:16:04that's only if you use them. There are certain skills involved in applying a
- 1:16:12condom to make sure it doesn't tear, to make sure there's no sucking air
- 1:16:15bubble at the bottom of it or something. And even if you do it
- 1:16:18absolutely right, there's still a higher than negligible chance that it didn't work.
- 1:16:26There's countless stories of people who use the condom and then got pregnant. Whoops
- 1:16:30out of that happen because they're not that effective. And then I know they're
- 1:16:33not inexpensive if you're poor. Yeah, if you want to have sex on
- 1:16:39anything resembling a regular basis, you need to be I have no idea how
- 1:16:44expensive they are. I don't. Well, there's there's that, and then
- 1:16:47then you have condoms can have side effects. I'm just I'm just gonna tell
- 1:16:54you, guys, discovering an allergy sucks at any point in time time,
- 1:17:00but holly fuck in the middle of inflat flagrante de lecto it is. It
- 1:17:06is awful when you discover that you're allergic to latex and there is latex up
- 1:17:11against a mucous membrane. And even worse than discovering that you're allergic to latex
- 1:17:19is discovering that you're both fucking allergic to latex. It, I will tell
- 1:17:28you, it kills the mood. Then you find out that at least in
- 1:17:34the nineties things have gotten a little bit better. But at least, you
- 1:17:39know, in the nineties, alternative condoms that are not latex, non latex
- 1:17:44condoms were crappy. In the nineties, they sucked like that. That was
- 1:17:50a good reason right there for abstinence. And now now we've got silicon,
- 1:17:56and frankly that should be the primary thing. Now latex should not be the
- 1:18:01primary thing, but it is. And it is still a little bit more
- 1:18:06expensive to get your condoms if you are allergic to latex, and latex allergy
- 1:18:11is becoming more common, so you know, she can go fuck herself with
- 1:18:15that idea that they're just anywhere and everywhere and they're easy to get. I
- 1:18:20keep getting told they're free. Well no, no, no, if you
- 1:18:24go to the places that give away free condoms, they only have latex.
- 1:18:31They do not have non latex, at least in my experience. So yeah,
- 1:18:36they can. That's that's bologny, you shall have. And yet to
- 1:18:43bring it up again, condom is not a male form of birth control.
- 1:18:47It goes over a peni, it goes over a penis. But like I
- 1:18:50said, there's there's nothing stopping a woman any more than a man from applying
- 1:18:56a condom and demanding a condom be applied. So it's this is this is
- 1:19:04why we frame things as unilateral. A condom is not a male form of
- 1:19:09birth control. Neither is a femidon. I know nobody wears femidoms because they're
- 1:19:13fucking an absurd adventure. But a man can demand that a woman wears a
- 1:19:17femidom. So it's not a female form of birth control. It's it's a
- 1:19:21it's a mutually applied form of birth control. Yep. And and somebody says
- 1:19:30what about lamb skin, Well, lamb skin is porous, it is less
- 1:19:33effective. Than latex, and what we had historically as a an alternative was
- 1:19:41not flexible. The way that the latex is now silicon has fixed that silicon
- 1:19:47is flexible. Like the old school non latex condoms our hardest hell to get
- 1:19:54on to penis of unusual size. I guess, well, even the usual
- 1:20:02size, I just I don't think they would be easy to get on that.
- 1:20:05But if it's if it's even slightly larger than normal, like if it's
- 1:20:13if it's just it's it's ridiculous. It's hard. You've got to be able
- 1:20:17to stretch the thing to get it on. You can't just roll it down
- 1:20:20because you're dealing with something that, even even erect, is still human flesh,
- 1:20:27not something inanimate and and solid, So it's still flexible. So it's
- 1:20:35it's a it's an adventure in and of itself trying to use condoms that are
- 1:20:39non latex. And even the other thing is that they did not do a
- 1:20:44very good job of making the big ones, so there were there were a
- 1:20:46lot of problems with those, like it was bad, and yeah, I
- 1:20:53think vegans can't use the lamb skin ones either, So there's there's also that
- 1:21:00some people have a moral objection, Like somebody mentioned Van Vegan, Like,
- 1:21:06you know, as far as I'm concerned, if you're if you're vegan,
- 1:21:10that's your own problem. But Jesus Christ, look, look I gotta say,
- 1:21:15if you're that devoted to the cause, I guess at least at least
- 1:21:23Late Texas Vegan. It comes from plants, it comes from trees. That's
- 1:21:28why I'm allergic to it. But I really wish I discovered that at the
- 1:21:32dentist's office instead, because I'm telling you guys, never never have want to
- 1:21:36have that experience again. Like Jesus, this is a bad evening. So
- 1:21:45her her bullshit basically makes it sound like only women have a rough time with
- 1:21:51with birth control. Only the birth control that is the hardest to use or
- 1:21:58has the most side effects is women's birth control, and all other birth control
- 1:22:01is irrelevant. Right Then she goes on men can keep them stocked up just
- 1:22:08in case, so they're always prepared. So she doesn't realize that condoms have
- 1:22:14expiration dates on them because the materials that they're made out of deteriorate and eventually
- 1:22:18you get to a point where if you try to use it it will break.
- 1:22:25Amazing, she says, or how about the fact, how about maybe
- 1:22:30you provide the condom. Yeah, women can keep condoms stocked up. Yes,
- 1:22:35Like what was that one that one scene in Pretty Woman where she just
- 1:22:40pulled aside the I think it was in her boot and there's a whole bunch
- 1:22:45of condoms. They are different condoms there for him to choose from. Like,
- 1:22:48yeah, you can keep condoms in your purse that you have like five
- 1:22:54hundred other things in there, and just make sure you keep them in a
- 1:22:56case that's hard to puncture if you gotting pins and stuff, because you know
- 1:22:59you want to work, all right, But you you can carry condoms,
- 1:23:02lady. You don't have to. Men don't have to do that for you.
- 1:23:05And you can say no glove, no love, yea, trust me,
- 1:23:12ladies, they're just as expensive for you as they are for men.
- 1:23:16There you go, there is. There are many forms of female birth control
- 1:23:19that the state will supply you free of charge. There is that as well.
- 1:23:26Yeah, so she she's full of shit with that as a bonus.
- 1:23:30In general, women love women use condoms. They keep us from getting STDs.
- 1:23:35They don't less than our pleasure during sex. We don't mind if you
- 1:23:42lessen your pleasure. They don't less than our pleasure. Now, this is
- 1:23:45something I didn't I didn't know until I was like twenty and I talked to
- 1:23:49a woman and she was like, and I was like, really they reduced
- 1:23:54her pleasure as well. She's like, yep, they absolutely do. So
- 1:23:58what what the fuck is this bit's talking about? Yeah? Well, and
- 1:24:01the reason ribbed condoms exist is because the the other kind can smooth out a
- 1:24:09guy's uh skin and everything, Like, you don't have the vainness, you
- 1:24:14don't have the texture. Skin is not smooth. Skin is like, that's
- 1:24:17why you're able to get a grip on things because you have your skin actually
- 1:24:23has little little cracks and fissures in it and everything. It's not it's not
- 1:24:29smooth. And uh, your mucous membrane even even more so, there's there's
- 1:24:34friction that takes place. Well, condoms a total different story. It's not
- 1:24:39the same. And uh so of course it's gonna you know, if if
- 1:24:43the woman has vaginal orgasms, not all women do. I guess I've was.
- 1:24:50I was on Hunting Badger radio before I learned that that that's not universal.
- 1:24:56But so I don't know. I guess it's actually unusual for women to
- 1:25:04have fagion orgasms. But in any case like that, the ribbed condoms are
- 1:25:13supposed to help. So there's that. So she's full of shit there and
- 1:25:19and then she goes on they don't prevent us from climaxing. And the best
- 1:25:23part, clean up is so much easier. No waddling to the toilet as
- 1:25:28your jiz drips down our legs. So why in the world are there ever
- 1:25:32unwanted pregnancies? Why don't men just use condoms every time they have sex?
- 1:25:38Seems so simple, right, And then she goes into blaming men. Oh,
- 1:25:45I remember men quote, men don't love condoms. I have to ask
- 1:25:51if a man uses a condom, man, you still get pregnant? Is
- 1:25:55it still his fault that you're gonna say? Yes? Okay, yep?
- 1:26:03And men frequently, in fact, men frequently pressure women to have sex without
- 1:26:08a condom. You know, I actually have never I don't remember ever encountering
- 1:26:13that had one break the condom, not the man, But I mean that
- 1:26:25you ever broke a man during sex. I'll try hard to have no.
- 1:26:30I like my sex partners, don't like to have sex with people I don't
- 1:26:35like you know, I suppose I could cuddle somebody to death. But yeah,
- 1:26:45and it's not unheard of for men to remove the condom during sex,
- 1:26:48like ladies, let's let's let's go here during sex. During it. If
- 1:26:59if you don't know what his hands are doing during sex, you're doing it
- 1:27:04wrong. I'm going to repeat that, if you don't know what his hands
- 1:27:10are doing during sex, you're doing it wrong. And she's saying this is
- 1:27:15if women don't also do it too. Yeah, I want to I want
- 1:27:20to feel you take the sticky thing off. Yeah, she's talking about stealthing.
- 1:27:27She linked to an article about stealthing, like there's and then there's jizz
- 1:27:34jacking, which, yeah, we don't know how mythological this is, pulling
- 1:27:40a used condom out of the the mythological. Little court case, there's been
- 1:27:45a court case which suggests has been many many headge cases. Many, yes,
- 1:27:54but there is one court case that made the news. But as far
- 1:27:58as stealthing is gonna is concerned, I'm going to put it put it to
- 1:28:00men this way, all right. I know that pickup artists talk about reproduction
- 1:28:10as like it's a point system and just conceiving a child. It makes you
- 1:28:16winner of the game or whatever, Right, But not if you hand your
- 1:28:23child over to a deadbeat. And women who knowingly, willfully and deliberately bring
- 1:28:29a child into a poverty situation that they keep the child in by retaining custody
- 1:28:35after the birth are deadbeats. All right, Don't give your child to a
- 1:28:41deadbeats. That's not a win. It's not a win for you, and
- 1:28:45it's not a win for your child. Your child's going to have worse outcomes
- 1:28:49in that situation. You won nothing by stealthing. You did something stupid.
- 1:28:57You put yourself in a bad situation. You took a risk of getting uh
- 1:29:01saddled with with a child support obligation for life. And on top of all
- 1:29:09of that, you know you took took a risk that your child is going
- 1:29:13to be with a woman from the set of women that are the most likely
- 1:29:17to neglect or abuse your child. Don't do that, Like, if you
- 1:29:24give a rat's ass about reproducing, at least love your children enough to give
- 1:29:28them a better situation than that. So that's that's that's my take on stealthing,
- 1:29:33right, And yeah, sperm jacking is definitely a thing. Women who
- 1:29:39deny it are liars, They know about it, they encourage it, and
- 1:29:44they even encourage lying about birth control in order to facilitate it. So there
- 1:29:47you go, and it throws a big old wrench into this idea that men
- 1:29:51are one responsible for unwanted pregnancies, because that right there is a woman being
- 1:29:58literally one hundred percent responsible for a pregnancy unwanted by a map. But it
- 1:30:03doesn't happen exactly. She goes on, let's see her next fallacy. Why
- 1:30:14would men want to have sex without a condom? Good question. Apparently,
- 1:30:16it's because, for the minutes they are penetrating their partner, having no condom
- 1:30:20gives the experience more pleasure. So there are men willing to risk getting women
- 1:30:26pregnant, which means literally risking her life, her health, her social status,
- 1:30:30her relationships, and her career so that they can experience a few minutes
- 1:30:34of slightly more pleasure. Is that for real? Yes? Yes it is.
- 1:30:41No, No, he's not risking anything at all. Yeah, and
- 1:30:44he's not risking anything at all. Well, and honestly, having a nine
- 1:30:47months pregnancy before putting the child up for adoption does not risk your social status,
- 1:30:54your relationships are, your career, So that's bullshit. Unless you know
- 1:31:00you got pregnant cheating on your husband, then it might risk that relationship.
- 1:31:03And as far as pregnancy risking woman's life, we're talking something like seventy three
- 1:31:10out of one hundred thousand women in the United States are are counted as pregnancy
- 1:31:19related deaths. And that goes That includes women who committed suicide due to postpartum
- 1:31:27depression, That includes women who had heart attacks or strokes the first year after
- 1:31:32they gave birth. Women who's like the majority of pregnancy deaths. The leading
- 1:31:41cause of death for pregnant women is health conditions that are related to being overweight
- 1:31:49or out of shape, or having a poor diet. Like feminists will tell
- 1:31:56you it's murder, it's not. The The leading cause of non medical death
- 1:32:02is because people are so careful that pregnant women do not have accidents. And
- 1:32:09we've had such great advancements in healthcare that that you know, we've reduced medical
- 1:32:15deaths as well. But the the actual leading cause of death for for pregnant
- 1:32:25women or cardiac and circulatory cardio pulmonary disorders that are generally caused by lifestyle choices,
- 1:32:36so and and those a lot of those can be managed through proper healthcare.
- 1:32:44So that's bullshit. This why risking my life? You're risking your life
- 1:32:47more during sex than during the pregnancy. She goes on, what are we
- 1:32:59talking about out here? Pleasure wise? If there's a pleasure scale with pain
- 1:33:04beginning at zero and going down into the negatives and a backscratch falling at five,
- 1:33:10and an orgasm without a condom being at ten, where would sex with
- 1:33:14a condom fall like seven or eight. Here's where she really gets into the
- 1:33:19weeds. It's not your call what a man wants. You have the right
- 1:33:27to say, well, I'm not going to participate in that, or i
- 1:33:30am going to participate in that. That's where your rights end. You don't
- 1:33:34get to decide what he wants. That's not your call. Is that?
- 1:33:41Is that really that hard for people to understand? His interests are not her
- 1:33:45call. So let's see. She goes on, So it's not this is
- 1:33:54this is like the book, I swear how much has left of this?
- 1:33:58She's got a shitload of like she just went on and order christ, Twitter
- 1:34:02is not the place to be writing a book. Why well, and this
- 1:34:06was in twenty eighteen, where like it wasn't really that Oh geez, she
- 1:34:15just this is like a thirty thirty tweet rant and she's whining. In my
- 1:34:30experience, men really like their testicles. If irresponsible ejaculations were putting their balls
- 1:34:34at risk, they would stop being irresponsible. This castration seemed like a cruel
- 1:34:39and unusual punishment, definitely, but it is. Where is it worse than
- 1:34:45forcing five hundred thousand women a year to puke daily for months, gained forty
- 1:34:47pounds, and then ripped their bodies apart at childbirth? Oh my god,
- 1:34:51the melodrama, Like she's that's that's her kind of argument. So let's look
- 1:34:58at the interview. I'm I'm, I'm done with her. I'm not going
- 1:35:02to read the rest of the thread because holy fuck, but if you want
- 1:35:08to, the link for the article is on our patreon on the on the
- 1:35:13page for this this this episode on our patreon. I will try to make
- 1:35:20a a page for this when the blog gets back up. But if I
- 1:35:27forget, it's I'm or if it's been more than a week, you know,
- 1:35:30I'm not gonna do it because it'll come up like a new post and
- 1:35:34then it won't be a new show. I just remember to go to the
- 1:35:40Patreon and and look for this, but jeez, Pete. And so now
- 1:35:46we have this woman that's made these proclamations right about ethics and medicine and personal
- 1:35:56care and and so far, the thing we know about her is that she
- 1:36:00is Mormon. So her interviewer Steph Black says, tell me about yourself and
- 1:36:05what brought you here. And the first thing she says, my background is
- 1:36:10in graphic design. So the the graphic design lady is an expert on ethics
- 1:36:21and interpersonal relationships. Good to know. I started a blog in two thousand
- 1:36:29and six called design Mom about the intersection of parenting and design. Oh god,
- 1:36:34that's that's awful. That's just that's crap, And believe it or not,
- 1:36:40it's still going. I can even write about abortion. That surprises some
- 1:36:46people if they've only known me for my house tours or recipes. But I
- 1:36:51always I was always writing about current events and political things that I was talking
- 1:36:58to my own children about. You see, she's an expert on women because
- 1:37:01she's a woman. God, I mean kind of but kind of not.
- 1:37:08You know, I don't. I don't consider myself an expert on men,
- 1:37:14even though I'm arguably a professional men's rights advocate. How did because an expert
- 1:37:19on men would be well, a biologist, and I'm not a biologist.
- 1:37:24There we go. Well, I mean, this is this is why I
- 1:37:27disclaim when people call me an expert because I'm not an expert. I'm a
- 1:37:30talking head. I'm a political commentator. And I will accept the title researcher
- 1:37:36when people give it to me because I have done research. It's I'm not
- 1:37:39I'm not a scientist. If they call me a scientist, then I know
- 1:37:43no, wait a minute, I don't have like I don't do experimentation using
- 1:37:47the scientific method. I research by finding information, and other people have discovered
- 1:37:54and evaluating their methods of discovery. Right, that's it. So I don't.
- 1:38:00I don't consider myself an expert, but I do consider myself capable of
- 1:38:05and qualified to comment on political issues based on the research and the information that
- 1:38:12I can provide people. This lady is just basically saying I feel this way,
- 1:38:16and therefore it's true. It's it's the I feel unsafe narrative, but
- 1:38:25with sex, I feel unaccommodated. Like jeez, your book, black says,
- 1:38:34your book really started with a viral tweet thread back in twenty eighteen when
- 1:38:41you wrote that men were responsible for hundred percent of unplanned pregnancies. What has
- 1:38:45the journey been like from that tweet to this book? Blair says, it
- 1:38:50was my very first thread. Oh jeez, that that that that's not my
- 1:39:01first threadway viral because I said, we couldn't tell. I have images of
- 1:39:08Snoopy typing on his typewriter. It was a cold lust. Three day was
- 1:39:14a dark and stormy period. Yes, it was my very first thread.
- 1:39:19I had never really used Twitter for anything other than promoting blog post. That
- 1:39:25changed during the election. I had written this piece about abortion, but I
- 1:39:29wasn't sure where to put it on my blog. I was it was a
- 1:39:33little it was a little angrier maybe than other things they had written. I
- 1:39:39sat on it until the Kavanaugh hearings, which was a politician after politician grandstanding
- 1:39:45about abortion. None of them cared or knew anything about abortion. It was
- 1:39:50just so maddening. So I decided to publish the thread and it went viral
- 1:39:56instantly. What did the Kavanaugh harries have to do with abortion? Well,
- 1:40:00there were two Kavanaugh hearings. There was the sexual harassment hearing. After the
- 1:40:08left try to use sexual misconduct allegations because they're usually effective against Republicans. They're
- 1:40:15not effective against Democrats, but they're usually effective against Republicans, and this time
- 1:40:20it didn't work. But there's also a Senate hearing to approve the president's choice.
- 1:40:30The president doesn't just get to say this guy is going to be on
- 1:40:32the Supreme Court. Boom, he's on Supreme Court. You actually have to
- 1:40:35have hearings and a vote on that whether they will allow him to appoint that
- 1:40:44person or not. Right, So that's the hearings that she's talking about.
- 1:40:49And what she's referring to was politicians stating their opinions on the ethics of abortion,
- 1:40:59which she's labeled grandstanding, and none of them knowing or caring. So
- 1:41:06as soon as they have opinions on ethics, they're not they're not valid.
- 1:41:12Right, She has opinions on ethics, and as a graphic designer, her
- 1:41:15opinions on ethics are much more relevant and meaningful than say, the opinions that
- 1:41:24civil servants have on the ethics of a medical procedures, like because or may
- 1:41:30not actually have any kind of understanding about the situation the procedure, and you
- 1:41:35know, this is just conjecture, I just how do you know that they
- 1:41:42don't know anything about abortion? You know, if I would hope that anyone
- 1:41:48who actually has a stance one way or the other knows enough about it to
- 1:41:56know what they're talking about and to have a stance. But generally, there's
- 1:42:00no such thing as an adult living in the United States today, aside from
- 1:42:05people whose disabilities preclude paying attention to such issues. There's there's not a normal
- 1:42:13adult living in the United States today that knows nothing about abortion. Like she's
- 1:42:16full of crap. Right, We've all had it shoved down our throats,
- 1:42:21you know, like for as long as we've been adults, and some of
- 1:42:26us for like I learned. I learned about abortion when I was thirteen.
- 1:42:30I think every girl should learn about abortion when she's thirteen, because then she's
- 1:42:32young enough to not accept all the made up bullshit that women used to justify
- 1:42:40it. Like she's already she's still already taking classes that show that actually know
- 1:42:45it's not just tissue. You know, there's there's obvious reasons for why there
- 1:42:49might be ethical issues with engaging in this practice, and and it's debatable right
- 1:42:57at the very least, But yeah, I was in the seventh grade and
- 1:43:01learned what abortion was. I learned I heard the term, and I asked
- 1:43:05my grandmother because she was a nurse. And then I wished I hadn't because
- 1:43:11I would like to have gone my whole life not knowing that people do that.
- 1:43:15But obviously I was an opponent ever after. Grandma was very clinical in
- 1:43:21her description. She was She didn't pull punches. My grandmother was like the
- 1:43:27female version of gandolf In in that that you know, all right, you're
- 1:43:31gonna do this, Here's here's the way it's gonna be, You're gonna know.
- 1:43:34But she also was very charitable to the people involved in terms of not
- 1:43:42calling them evil, misguided, mistaken, poor choices, things like that.
- 1:43:48She wasn't judgmental, but she wasn't. She was very clinical about the medical
- 1:43:55end of it, and it was really gross. And I was anti abortion
- 1:44:00for life, So yeah, she goes on. Overwhelmingly, the response was
- 1:44:04positive about the thread. I had been sitting on the thread for six months
- 1:44:09or so, so in my mind these ideas were old, but they were
- 1:44:12new ideas for a lot of people. Like all she did was articulate what
- 1:44:17feminists had been saying for years, but she articulated it in a way that
- 1:44:24women could latch onto and promote the idea that they didn't have to be responsible
- 1:44:29for their birth control. I was hearing from really progressive women that they never
- 1:44:36thought about these things, and now they're suddenly having conversation with their partners about
- 1:44:41vasectomy or the realities of birth control side effects. There were women crying to
- 1:44:46me saying they didn't know someone could share this burden with them. It was
- 1:44:58also really amazing to hear from men for whom it clicked. I'm not even
- 1:45:01going on that link. I know that it's going to be feminist men.
- 1:45:05I My blood pressure is high enough already. You can see in the comments
- 1:45:10of the thread that they're mentally going through their past sexual experiences thinking, oh
- 1:45:15crap, was I ejaculating responsibly? God? Was I choosing my own few
- 1:45:24seconds of pleasure over her body? Can you see that they'll go into their
- 1:45:28next Can you see that they'll go into their next sexual experience more responsibly,
- 1:45:31more aware of what's at risk? And you know, again, this is
- 1:45:38not about you, right. I know that women will will get mad at
- 1:45:44me for that, because obviously pregnancy is it occurs in their body and all
- 1:45:49that, right, But she didn't make it about mutual accountability. She didn't
- 1:45:56make it about, you know, men and women should work together to prevent
- 1:45:59conception. Love your children before you conceive them, take extra precautions to make
- 1:46:04sure that you hold off on conception until you're ready to raise the child together
- 1:46:11in a in a loving, supportive, economically sound environment. Like that's good
- 1:46:15advice. That would have been great advice, right, But no, she
- 1:46:18made it about condemning men for experiencing pleasure, shaming them six, shaming them
- 1:46:27for their sexuality. Like that's not you're gonna lecture men about un you know,
- 1:46:34their their pleasure and equate their pleasure with harm to women. You lose
- 1:46:41me immediately, Yep, yep. But she goes on to say, and
- 1:46:45this, this really is. This is women in a nutshell. And the
- 1:46:49thread has been retweeted every day for four years, sometimes thousands of times a
- 1:46:57day because abortion is in the news. So that's become women's only take.
- 1:47:03Well, it's not us. Men are responsible for this. Abortion would never
- 1:47:08happen if it wasn't for men. That's their take. I wonder at what
- 1:47:15point they're gonna they're gonna say, male doctors have no right to perform abortions
- 1:47:18on women. It's not beyond the scope. Yeah, feminist ideology, Like
- 1:47:26just like women don't want male security cards patting them down in the airport.
- 1:47:31At some point they're gonna say no, male doctors don't have a right to
- 1:47:35give me an abortion unless the only doctor available is a man. Okay,
- 1:47:41fair enough. I really want to kill this man's baby, and I quite
- 1:47:45fancy doctors. Hello, doctor, do you want to fuck me and impregnatet
- 1:47:48me? Yeah? It's it's it's really disgusting in it. You already have
- 1:47:53Like right wing anti abortion women do blame men for abortion, just like this
- 1:48:04woman does. They do it a different way. They claim that it's male
- 1:48:09doctors scamming poor innocent, scared young girls. Now there is a degree to
- 1:48:15which I will say abortion is a scam. It's not male doctors scamming poor
- 1:48:20innocent young women though and girls. It's the abortion industry, which is mostly
- 1:48:28women, including the doctors more abortionists or women. And then there's the nurses
- 1:48:33that are involved. Those are mostly women. All the other women workers at
- 1:48:38the clinic for the most part of women, you've got male security guards when
- 1:48:41they want somebody to beat people up for trying to stop someone from having an
- 1:48:45abortion, they call them in right, But the people that are making shitloads
- 1:48:50of money on abortion are individual women working at these clinics, and they lie
- 1:48:58to the public. They spread lies through the public that weak women can latch
- 1:49:04onto to excuse stupid choices, and women do that, right, So there
- 1:49:15is some advantage being taken, but it's it's like when somebody who is constantly
- 1:49:21seeking out get rich quick schemes gets conned by fake get rich quick schemes.
- 1:49:29Like if you were not being super lazy and trying to avoid work by doing
- 1:49:33this instead, you wouldn't have had that problem, right, Or somebody buying
- 1:49:40illegal drugs from strangers gets something that they weren't expecting in their drugs. Okay,
- 1:49:46well, maybe maybe you should not have given your money to a criminal
- 1:49:50and trusted that what they were giving you was good. Right, That's that's
- 1:49:55a dumb idea. And this is the same thing. But you can't blame
- 1:50:00that on men. Women are still allowing themselves there. They're will willfully gullible
- 1:50:08in regard to this, and that's if they're gullible. A lot of women
- 1:50:12are just willfully negligent. They don't give a shit. They The one chick
- 1:50:18that I worked with, that the one people will remember as the girl that
- 1:50:24I talked about putting the sinc drain plug in with the rubber stopper up and
- 1:50:30not understanding why that that didn't work, you know, when she really did.
- 1:50:34She just didn't want to do the dishes, and how I fixed that
- 1:50:41along with the mop issue and all that. She talked about her history of
- 1:50:47four abortions at eighteen years old like it was nothing. It didn't matter to
- 1:50:53her. She she already had full by the age of eighty. Shit.
- 1:50:59Yes, And I see, that's the thing. There's like over half a
- 1:51:02million abortions in the US every every year. Her uterus must look like Swish
- 1:51:10cheese. It's Jesus Christ. That's disgusting. That's it's startless in there.
- 1:51:15It gets vacuumed regularly. Seriously though, Yeah, and and and this is
- 1:51:25what you run into, right, It's not that she's gullible, it's that
- 1:51:30she plays gullible when it's convenient for her to be able to be careless.
- 1:51:35And then you know, when she doesn't want to face the consequences when she
- 1:51:42she rolled. She rolled on her fertility check and uh, you know,
- 1:51:46or her birth control check, and she rolled a one, and then she
- 1:51:49decided she didn't consent to that number. Like, nope, sorry, lady.
- 1:51:54You don't get to control whether you get a one or at twenty or
- 1:51:57anything in between. So, yeah, the game is called craps. Yet
- 1:52:03in that case, yeah, and and that's the argument is basically that women
- 1:52:10don't have the agency to control their fertility. That women don't have the agency
- 1:52:15to say, I'm not gonna have sex with that guy because he's uh not
- 1:52:20you know, I don't want even the slightest risk that he might become the
- 1:52:24father of my child. Right, not gonna do that guy, I'm gonna
- 1:52:28wait for somebody better to come along. They don't have the agency to do
- 1:52:31that, right, that's the argument. They don't have the agency to say,
- 1:52:36no, I'm not doing this without a condom. If you want to
- 1:52:40do this, you know, no glove, no love, wrap it up,
- 1:52:44right, They don't have the agency, according according to this uh this
- 1:52:46woman, they don't have the agency to decide ahead of time, I am
- 1:52:54or am not going to be sexually active. It happens in the moment You're
- 1:52:57like, you don't have a code of six on this. You don't have
- 1:53:00any plan for your life. You don't have any I mean, Hannah,
- 1:53:05when you're screwing a guy in the parking lot, you know, there's really
- 1:53:09enough time to make decisions like that. Come on and it's it's a sad
- 1:53:13thing, but like, I guess it's common to at the at the last
- 1:53:19minute on a date be like, you know, I was gonna be careful
- 1:53:26about sex and everything, but right now we just really have the hotspeed for
- 1:53:30each other, and I'm going to throw all of that to the wind,
- 1:53:32all my plans for the future down the drain for this one moment of pleasure.
- 1:53:39The same argument that she makes about men, but when women do it,
- 1:53:42it doesn't matter. When women take that same action and and don't care
- 1:53:48about their future child enough to say, you know, let's make sure first
- 1:53:54that we're not going to conceive a child in the heat of this moment and
- 1:53:59maybe plane ahead a little bit. No, No, it's not a big
- 1:54:02deal. It's okay for women to do that to their children for a moment
- 1:54:05of pleasure. Yeah, maybe maybe have a conversation about with him about kids
- 1:54:11beforehand. I can't tell you how many times I hear stories of women having
- 1:54:15kids with a guy and then oops, they find out that he's got a
- 1:54:19whole another family out somewhere else, a whole bunch of kids, a whole
- 1:54:24bunch of different baby mothers or whatever, you know, and it happens.
- 1:54:29It happens because women are just so, they are impulsive now, and they'll
- 1:54:35forget they forget something, all right. I get told all the time that
- 1:54:42most women only orgasm from clitteral stimulation. Well, that doesn't require penetration,
- 1:54:49doesn't And if his orgasm requires penetration, well you've got two hands and two
- 1:54:55holes that don't get pregnant, right, right, so is more than two?
- 1:55:00I mean, well some of them holes. But yeah, if it
- 1:55:04can fit in those other holes, then he might be too young for you,
- 1:55:10right that, like especially your ear that's tiny. But but seriously,
- 1:55:15you know, just just to make the point, it isn't necessary for vaginal
- 1:55:20penetration to happen for both partners to have their full range of sexual pleasure,
- 1:55:28you know, unless unless the woman has vaginal orgasms, and then you still
- 1:55:32can have the clitteral orgasm without penetration, So that that's bullshit, Like what
- 1:55:40argument she's making about what she's when she said about women having mourning sickness and
- 1:55:48five hundred thousand women gaining forty pounds, like, which is also I gained
- 1:55:54sixty, Like some women don't gain very much. So that's I guess an
- 1:55:58average and you don't have to, right, But all of that shit for
- 1:56:03his one moment of pleasure, Well, you're talking about condemning a child to
- 1:56:06a lifetime of poverty and the issues that happen with fatherlessness, right, potentially
- 1:56:15being on welfare's whole life or her whole life, potentially becoming an unwed parent
- 1:56:21as a teenager themselves, because you wanted a moment of pleasure, right,
- 1:56:29right? So which is worse? Which is worse putting an adult at risk
- 1:56:39with their consent or inflicting all of that on your child who cannot consent because
- 1:56:46they haven't been conceived yet. You're about to do that. It's gonna shame
- 1:56:53men for their pleasure, but she's gonna get hers, huh right, And
- 1:56:58that threat has been read tweeted every day for four years. Guys, this
- 1:57:03is the way women are thinking today. They don't care that they are shaming
- 1:57:10you for what they feel entitled to. They don't care that if they don't
- 1:57:17take responsibility, it's their children who suffer. They don't care that they are
- 1:57:26not being honest about their agency. They don't care that they're insulting themselves.
- 1:57:30They don't care that they're taking away from your right to a partner who has
- 1:57:35equal accountability for the act that you guys are about to engage in. They
- 1:57:41only care about that moment of pleasure, and they want that moment of pleasure
- 1:57:45to be as uncomplicated for them as humanly possible. They don't care if they
- 1:57:48make it complicated for you. So she's going to talk about writing a book.
- 1:57:59She wrote a book, according to her. Let's see. Right after
- 1:58:05the tweet went viral, I was approached by a bunch of publishers that wanted
- 1:58:10to turn it into a book, and I couldn't see it. Then someone
- 1:58:14posed the question to me if Twitter had an edit button, would you change
- 1:58:17anything about the thread? I immediately said yes, I know where people get
- 1:58:21stuck. I know where there's new updated data, where the link I shared
- 1:58:27no longer works. That was the trigger for me to write the book.
- 1:58:30I know how to explain and expand on my tweets, So she really wrote
- 1:58:34the book because women liked what she said, not because she was trying to
- 1:58:43inform or change society or anything like that. And the process, I'm like,
- 1:58:51she the next question here says, what was it like to actually turn
- 1:58:56a viral tweets right into a book. I'm not going to read her answer
- 1:58:59to that because I don't care the thesis. The next question, the thesis
- 1:59:04of this book is really in Lesson thirteen that men are the cause of and
- 1:59:11responsible for all unwanted pregnancies. How did you come up with that? What
- 1:59:18triggered that specific argument? And she said, yeah, she got triggered.
- 1:59:26I was reading statistics in probably early twenty eighteen of how many abortions there had
- 1:59:30been for that year, and then numbers surprised me. They were higher than
- 1:59:34I thought, And I was like, why am I surprised by this?
- 1:59:42Maybe because you thought better of women until you read those numbers. Right,
- 1:59:45I feel in my core that women are very aware and careful of their bodies.
- 1:59:50So she disqualified the whole statement with the first two words, I feel.
- 1:59:58So what I feel doesn't mean anything. It's not evidence. Facts.
- 2:00:03Don't care about your feelings even if it's in your call, yes, in
- 2:00:08your core. But that's just it. She wanted to believe women were careful,
- 2:00:13so it must be men that aren't. She says, there's a sense
- 2:00:17from women that we are not eager to get medical procedures like abortions. So
- 2:00:21why are we having so many? Well, you know some of you are
- 2:00:28having four before you turn eighteen. Then immediately I was like, oh,
- 2:00:35I know why. I know exactly why. Birth control is super hard.
- 2:00:41And I was saying this as someone who had six babies and got to choose
- 2:00:45when to have them because I use birth control. But I hated birth control.
- 2:00:51I hated it. I would have mood swings, I would have breakouts.
- 2:00:56I hated the maintenance. Besides what it was doing to my body.
- 2:01:00I had all these young kids. How am I supposed to get a yearly
- 2:01:03exam just for birth control. I had little kids, and I was moving
- 2:01:08a lot. I needed a new doctor, my insurance was changing, and
- 2:01:11I would start the process of getting a prescription all over again. It was
- 2:01:15such a pain, but it works, so that part I didn't hate.
- 2:01:19I have to wonder if she regrets having all these children because complaints about birth
- 2:01:30control and a bossing don't usually come from women who've had six children. Yeah,
- 2:01:35like, have you really ever used birth control? When did you find
- 2:01:42time for it between the six children? Oh? Jesus, Well, there's
- 2:01:48another secret about birth control, at least the specifically the pill, because this
- 2:01:54doesn't work with the non hormonal types of birth control. The pill works by
- 2:01:59tricking your body into thinking it's already pregnant, so it doesn't try to get
- 2:02:01pregnant anymore, it doesn't drop any eggs, you're not fertile during that time.
- 2:02:05It sort of puts things off right. But then when you stop taking
- 2:02:13the pill, your body goes through the same kind of oh shit moment of
- 2:02:16like, Okay, I'm not pregnant. I was pregnant yesterday, but I'm
- 2:02:19not pregnant today. Oh, we must have lost the baby. And then
- 2:02:24it goes into high gear and it's like, all right, now we're gonna
- 2:02:27be super fertile. So if you want to time a conception, it's it's
- 2:02:34perfect to be able to use the pill to trick your body into thinking it's
- 2:02:40pregnant and then also use a barrier method to make sure that if you screw
- 2:02:44that up, the semen's not getting through, so the sperm's not there to
- 2:02:48come into contact if you happen to drop an egg you know, here and
- 2:02:53there during that use. But and you do want to double up specifically,
- 2:03:00because if you let that hormone drop in your system, that the that the
- 2:03:06birth control pill is giving you, your body thinks that you lost a baby
- 2:03:11and starts trying very hard to make up for it. Well, when you
- 2:03:14stop taking the pill is the perfect time to conceive. You stop taking the
- 2:03:17pill, your body goes into high gear. And if you want to conceive
- 2:03:21a baby at that time, you you know, like do the horizontal bop
- 2:03:27every night, maybe a couple of times a night, just just to make
- 2:03:30sure. And you will get pregnant if you can, right, unless you
- 2:03:34are infertile, unless there's a problem, unless he's infertile, you know whatever.
- 2:03:40That that's that's a pretty good way of making sure of when you're going
- 2:03:45to conceive. And that's probably what she did. But I'm sure she probably
- 2:03:51only used birth control pills. But the thing is, there's lots of things.
- 2:03:59Can you imagine, Let's let's apply this to things that men do for
- 2:04:03their families, Because birth control is something a woman does for her family.
- 2:04:06Right. You do this not just for yourself, not just to prevent yourself
- 2:04:10from having mourning, sickness and gaining weight and having to go through labor and
- 2:04:13all that stuff. You do it so that you can time the conception and
- 2:04:20birth of your child so that it's after you've gotten things ready for the child
- 2:04:27to come along, that you make enough money, he makes enough money,
- 2:04:30the household is stable. You know that you love each other and you're dedicated
- 2:04:36to each other, and you're going to raise the child together. You have
- 2:04:39a support network, you know, those kind of things. That's the reason
- 2:04:43that you use birth control to make sure that you're not having the baby before
- 2:04:46those things are ready, right, And that's a thing you're doing for your
- 2:04:51family. You're not just doing it for yourself. That's for the child.
- 2:04:55What the men do for their child, they drag their ass out of bed
- 2:04:59every day and go to work. Some men drag their ass every day out
- 2:05:02of bed and go to a job that is just absolutely boring, so fuck
- 2:05:10or soul crushing. Soul crushing. Their Their boss hates them, treats them
- 2:05:16like shit. Their industry is. They don't feel like they're accomplishing anything,
- 2:05:21you know, whatever. Some guys go to work every day and risk their
- 2:05:26lives because they get paid more doing a job that risks their life than they
- 2:05:31do standing behind a cash register selling up selling candy bars. Right, ye,
- 2:05:40some guys are responsible in order to support their families. They take on
- 2:05:47responsibility for three hundred and fifty employees at a manufacturing plant and all of the
- 2:05:56liability that goes with that. And then women complain that they make more money
- 2:06:00than the people who work on the line in the factory. Right. Some
- 2:06:03guys go to work every day and get shot at and they're not necessarily all
- 2:06:09cops yep like that that. Men do that for their family, and they
- 2:06:17may hate it, right, they may absolutely hate their job. They like
- 2:06:23the paycheck, they like seeing their family benefit from the paychecks. So they
- 2:06:28do it. And they don't whine about it. They don't complain about it.
- 2:06:32They don't even complain when they get injured, right, they don't.
- 2:06:39They don't blame somebody else for it. They don't say women need to pick
- 2:06:45up you know, the slack and and how dare women like? They even
- 2:06:48made women room for women in their industries. They invented things, men invented
- 2:06:56things for you know, women to make our housework. And I'm not scrubbing
- 2:07:01my laundry out on a rock in the river behind the house. I have
- 2:07:05a washing machine. I don't even have to do like my great grandmother had
- 2:07:11to do, where she plugged it in and it boiled the water using electricity,
- 2:07:15and if you touch the water you get shocked. Nope, I can
- 2:07:17close the lid, push a button and it does all the work. And
- 2:07:24then I don't have to hang up the clothes. I can dry them in
- 2:07:26the dryer. It's great, right, Men invented that. Men invented all
- 2:07:30those things. Men invented, you know, your electric stove, all of
- 2:07:32your appliances, all of the things that you use that make it quick and
- 2:07:38easy for you to do the chores that you complain about all the time.
- 2:07:42And yet women bitch about having responsibility to decide what gets into their uterus and
- 2:07:51whether it gets to live or die before it gets to an egg to fertilize
- 2:07:56it. So she goes on, you know, after saying birth all this
- 2:08:07about birth control. Oh, it's such a pain. I'm a victim of
- 2:08:11the choice to use hormonal birth control. We don't ever talk about that.
- 2:08:16We act like it's super easy, Like I'm just going to stop at the
- 2:08:20pharmacy and pick up my band aids, neosporin, ibuprofen, and a pack
- 2:08:24of birth control pills. So why would we have abortions when we don't like
- 2:08:31medical procedures Because birth control is awful for a lot of women, women inaccessible,
- 2:08:35too expensive, and it's not great on the body. And again she's
- 2:08:39talking about birth control as if only birth control pills exist. She's remind all
- 2:08:46the other things. Reminder, the only form of unilateral male birth control is
- 2:08:50a vasectomy, and you want to talk about that effect on the body.
- 2:08:56It's it's not just that it's well, it's not irreversible, but a vasectomy
- 2:09:03is a form of quite invasive surgery, actually involves chopping tubes, and a
- 2:09:09reversed vasectomy is even more of an of an invasive surgery. And like I
- 2:09:16said, that's the only thing a man can do that he doesn't have to
- 2:09:18disclose to the woman he's having sex with. So don't give me that ship.
- 2:09:24And then there's the the problem of sperm once they get to the cut
- 2:09:31part of the tube, burying themselves into the other cells in that area,
- 2:09:37and causing all manner of I don't know if immune diseases is the right term,
- 2:09:45but they can they you know, like I said, the science isn't
- 2:09:50in on it. But when when the sperm go wandering through the cells of
- 2:09:52the other body, God knows what they can do. This is why that
- 2:09:58your cell is Wait, am I get the right thing? I keep getting
- 2:10:01the sill confused with magicil is? I think a cleansing thing that you don't
- 2:10:13really that was there was there was some uns you're yeah, you don't really
- 2:10:16need I need to make sure I get the right word when I ever say,
- 2:10:20but yeah, vasil gel would it would be the very It would be
- 2:10:28the equivalent of of any of the let's say eleven forms of birth control that
- 2:10:33women can have. Many men could just have a simple injection of something that
- 2:10:39shreds the sperm rather than just blocks it off and sends it hey wire into
- 2:10:43the body to run a muck. Yeah, you don't appear to have heard
- 2:10:52any of the nightmare stories of of what can happen to two men after a
- 2:10:58vasectomy. Well, for one, thing like if you have an immune response
- 2:11:03to your sperm, that can cause like an inflammation throughout the whole area.
- 2:11:11But it can also like if it gets into your bloodstream, that's the whole
- 2:11:15body inflammation. You're talking. Everything from arthritis to heart attack can be caused
- 2:11:20by that. So yeah, bowel disease, Yeah, like that. That
- 2:11:26could be a big can of worms. It's worse than the pill. I'm
- 2:11:33well, it's well it. I mean, complications from vasectomies are a lot
- 2:11:39worse than complications from the pill, but they're probably rare. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:11:45they might be. It just your body responds to things that it thinks
- 2:11:50aren't supposed to be there. So it would make sense your body expects your
- 2:11:56sperm to go out through the urethra and be on and if you put it
- 2:12:03into the tissue surrounding the vast deference instead, then that's going to confuse your
- 2:12:09body. And that's usually when an immune response happens because of that kind of
- 2:12:16like your body doesn't expect that to be there. An immune response, you
- 2:12:22basically would have it be like an allergy. Honestly, it makes very much
- 2:12:26sense that that would happen. I wonder if that's what happened to there's an
- 2:12:31NFL player. I won't I won't for you know, for company involved.
- 2:12:35I won't call him a football player, but he's an NFL player. I
- 2:12:39want to see it's Keyshawn Johnson. Yeah, for some reason, I don't
- 2:12:45think that might be him. But anyway, this man has multiple multip I'm
- 2:12:50talking about like eight plus kids. And then he said he went and got
- 2:12:54a a sectomy and then I think it was like six or eight months later,
- 2:13:01Oops, his wife is pregnant again. So uh, if that's what
- 2:13:11actually happened, or maybe he's a lot about getting medically confirm that the vasectomy
- 2:13:16verse because it can happen, you know, stuff can This can happen with
- 2:13:20you getting your tubes tied too. It's why they why the fishy clip was
- 2:13:24invented, but they don't do that with it. It'd be a lot more
- 2:13:28difficult to do something like a fishy clip with with the vast deference it's not.
- 2:13:35For one thing, it's smaller than the Philippian tube. But but yeah,
- 2:13:43that it's possible to get to create a pregnancy after a vasectomy. It's
- 2:13:48possible for sperm to find their way through and and it's also possible for it
- 2:13:54to undo. I think what's more likely is as she's a trifling hop when
- 2:14:00she just went and got knocked up by somebody else. But you know that's
- 2:14:05that's the other thing, did it? Did it go along with with the
- 2:14:09meme where the vasse ectomy doesn't prevent pregnancy, it just changes the color of
- 2:14:11the baby. Yeah, it's horrible. I am a horrible person and I'm
- 2:14:20not gonna stop. So so there you go, Like, just just to
- 2:14:26be blunt, you know, no woman is ever gonna just trust a guy
- 2:14:31to be the only prevention. If if she is intelligent, reasonable and responsible
- 2:14:41and and so any woman that makes this argument, like if you are dating
- 2:14:46somebody, guys and you hear this argument come from her, that this woman
- 2:14:50is making run fast because this is a woman who will never take responsibility for
- 2:14:56herself through through her entire life. When you get married, she is going
- 2:15:01to get credit cards in your name and run them up. And then when
- 2:15:05you guys have to declare bankruptcy, she is going to blame you for not
- 2:15:09earning enough money. She is not going to be careful raising your children.
- 2:15:13She is not going to treat you with dignity and respect. She is not
- 2:15:18going to love you. She is going to use you. So don't don't
- 2:15:24date a woman that makes this kind of argument. It's fair to date a
- 2:15:28woman who says, I'm going to use this type of birth control and I
- 2:15:33expect you to wear a condom because I don't want to trust just one thing.
- 2:15:37It's not good to have a woman making this kind of argument that men
- 2:15:41are responsible for pregnancy and women are not. And this thing. She goes
- 2:15:48right back and forth. Here, oh, condoms. The contrast was so
- 2:15:52clear. Condoms are free. Well, sometimes if you have access to its
- 2:15:58free, they're there are no there are. There are clinics and in some
- 2:16:05parts of the country in the United States that will give them away for free
- 2:16:09if you ask, but actually most of the time there aren't. So but
- 2:16:20she goes. Then she goes on, They're readily available. You can get
- 2:16:22them in vending machines, you can get them in you know, on on
- 2:16:26store shelves and all that. And that's true. They are readily available.
- 2:16:30So are other female forms of birth control besides birth control pills I can walk
- 2:16:39into there. There are four pharmacies in my neighborhood. Now I live in
- 2:16:43a city. When I lived in a small town, there were three.
- 2:16:50There were four pharmacies in my neighborhood actually, because and I'm counting my neighborhood
- 2:16:58here, as about the size of that community, Like we're talking maybe a
- 2:17:01two mile radius, right, far enough you can walk anywhere in a two
- 2:17:05mile radius unless you have mobility challenges, and then maybe not. But a
- 2:17:11healthy person can walking two miles should be nothing to a healthy adult, at
- 2:17:18least if you're healthy enough to be screwing around, right. And I could
- 2:17:22go to any one of them and find spermcidal foam, spermicidal gel, spermicidal
- 2:17:31film, which is a barrier method like the sponge. I can find birth
- 2:17:35control sponges I can find. I can get information on a diaphragm. Even
- 2:17:41if I don't find a diaphragm, I can go to my doctor and get
- 2:17:46a diaphragm, get fitted for a diaphragm, And I don't have to swallow
- 2:17:50anything to use it, right, And of course, the absolute most free
- 2:17:58form of birth control wherein you can swallow something, is not to use your
- 2:18:03vagina for sex. But some some women do have a tough time swallowing that.
- 2:18:11Yeah, how many times can I fit swallow into this sentence? Guys?
- 2:18:16So she's she's talking about condoms are free. Will you know oral sex
- 2:18:20is too. Condoms are in vending machines. I will say this, I
- 2:18:26am leary of vending machine condoms, like even if I wasn't allergic to them,
- 2:18:31because most of those are just the plain latex kind. I don't know
- 2:18:35how long they've been in there, you know, I don't. I don't
- 2:18:37like that. I would, I would want to get one off the shelf.
- 2:18:41And I mean and all that. I've bought food from the grocery store
- 2:18:46and that wasn't inspired. No, no, no, there's condoms at the
- 2:18:52grocery store too, by the way, Well yes there are. But I've
- 2:18:56bought food at the grocery store that when I took at home. Well actually
- 2:19:01I don't know if I did it at the store or to actually got at
- 2:19:05home, but the food was expired. Oh yeah, it's sitting there on
- 2:19:09the grocery self. Like you have to pay attention to that thing. You
- 2:19:13don't just there's no such thing as trust and believe, No, not not
- 2:19:20if you don't like food poisoning. Yeah right, but yeah, so for
- 2:19:26birth control, like she's she's talking about hormones, where there's actually a variety
- 2:19:35of options available for women that don't require you to swallow a pill or get
- 2:19:41a shot or use any hormones. And then she's complaining again, oh,
- 2:19:46men hate condoms, and that that's that got her exploring the topics of the
- 2:19:52thread. So then Black asks her, you wrote this book really calling on
- 2:19:58men to step up. How has your husband responded to this? Now,
- 2:20:05notice we haven't heard from the husband himself, so she's going to speak for
- 2:20:11him. He's locked up in the basement, chains to the bed. He's
- 2:20:16a little bit busy right now. He's probably locked up in the job,
- 2:20:20chained to the work. But she says, he's probably my biggest advocate.
- 2:20:28He calls himself my first convert. He got it immediately. He was looking
- 2:20:33at our marriage, going, WHOA, why did I wait to get a
- 2:20:37vasectomy? By the time I wrote this, he's had a vasectomy for years.
- 2:20:43He was like, I wasn't really aware of the side effects. I
- 2:20:48wasn't aware of how difficult it was for my wife to get birth control.
- 2:20:52Oh he was talking about her side effects. M uh huh. I wasn't
- 2:20:58supporting that, and I should have been. I could have made the appointments
- 2:21:01for her. Dudes, if she didn't ask you to do that, don't
- 2:21:07do that. And if she did ask you to do that, ask for
- 2:21:09the request in writing, because like you, making doctor's appointments for your wife
- 2:21:16is a good way to get accused of abuse. Yes, so yeah,
- 2:21:22it's it's fine if you guys have that relationship. But you know, Jeel
- 2:21:28Pete's I could have made the appointments for I could have. I made my
- 2:21:33own doctor's appointments from the time I was eighteen. Actually I made doctor's appointments
- 2:21:39before that, from the time I started driving. Really, I could have
- 2:21:43made it so she doesn't have to take off work, or I could have
- 2:21:48arranged childcare, which the same thing, I guess. But for crying out
- 2:21:56loud, why does he have to make it so that she doesn't have to
- 2:22:01take time at Why? Why doesn't Why is not that her responsibility? Right?
- 2:22:09Like if I needed to arrange childcare for my kids so that I didn't
- 2:22:13take off time off work, I just got together with my friends who had
- 2:22:20kids my my son's age, and we traded time with the kids. You
- 2:22:26know, he can be at your house during this time, and I'll take
- 2:22:28your kid at my house for this amount of time, and that it was
- 2:22:33settled, like, that's not difficult anyway. So yeah, he's he's supposed
- 2:22:41to take responsibility, but she isn't. I say in this thread, you
- 2:22:48think women would be mad at men about this, but none of us were
- 2:22:50taught to think about this, so I can't be mad at and because I
- 2:22:54wasn't thinking about it either. This is a cultural for not phenomenon, except
- 2:23:01there isn't anything to be mad about, is there. Why would women be
- 2:23:07mad that men don't take unilateral responsibility for women's choices unless women were social because
- 2:23:18well, exactly, because then they want to be able to blame them for
- 2:23:22when they make the wrong choice. They have to. It's believe the legal
- 2:23:28scurb is plausible deniability. They want what they want until the point where they
- 2:23:35can blame someone else from for what they did for the consequences, and then
- 2:23:43pay. We'll pay for the consequences of their actions. Yeah. Yeah,
- 2:23:50And we get told when we argue this on on social media or in person
- 2:23:56with other women that use this argument, it's percent responsible for unwanted pregnancies.
- 2:24:03We get told that this is about both people being responsible, not about shifting
- 2:24:07the burden to him. So now I'm going to read the next question.
- 2:24:13I'm going to ignore the what do you think men should be taking from this
- 2:24:16book question because she answered that in the thread well, and the answer is
- 2:24:20toilet paper. Yeah. The the the interviewer says, how does shifting the
- 2:24:28burden of pregnancy prevention from women too men factor into the conversation around abortion?
- 2:24:35So this woman obviously this this this interviewer obviously took it that way, and
- 2:24:45that's I think most of the women that liked what she said took it that
- 2:24:48way. The Blair doesn't correct her either. She says, as far as
- 2:24:56the abortion confer conversation goes, my argument takes the motion out of it.
- 2:25:01So many people want to debate me on when life begins and when it's murder.
- 2:25:05These are philosophical and religious conversations. So I'm going to say, no,
- 2:25:11they're not. When life begins as biological, that's scientific, it's not
- 2:25:16philosophical, and it's not religious. Right when it's murder is an ethical question.
- 2:25:26That's more philosophical, but it's not necessarily religious. The jury is still
- 2:25:33out. And exactly when a non human, a supposedly non human collection of
- 2:25:41cells becomes a fully fledged human collection of cells but it's still a scientific question.
- 2:25:48It is, but it's given that it doesn't have a definitive scientific answer.
- 2:25:52We're left with philosophical and religious conversations about it. But you know,
- 2:26:01we can say nine months is too old, and we can we can say
- 2:26:05one day is perhaps not too old. Between between those two is where we
- 2:26:11get it. And I'd love to hear where Blair thinks that divide might be.
- 2:26:20But I suspect it's towards the lower, I mean, the upper boundary
- 2:26:24of that thing. It's hard to tell. I don't know what the Mormon
- 2:26:28religious outlook is on abortion, so that might affect. Like I was raised
- 2:26:35Christian Union, which is the it's an offshoot of Southern Baptist. So if
- 2:26:43I were to just strictly look at it from a religious perspective, I would
- 2:26:48have to I would have to say that all abortion would be murder. And
- 2:26:56if I look at it from a more scientific perspective, well, I describe
- 2:27:01that I'm not going to go through all of it because it would we we'd
- 2:27:05need a whole show to discuss it. But I wrote a blog post about
- 2:27:09that years ago, breaking the Glasses dot blogspot dot com. And the argument
- 2:27:16is actually linked in the sidebar on that blog. It is a page instead
- 2:27:26of a post, and it is on the topic of abortion. And that's
- 2:27:31my main argument is, you know, we should have a at least some
- 2:27:41consistency in how we approach when it is acceptable for a human being not in
- 2:27:50a position of authority, because a citizen is not in a position of authority
- 2:27:56under our law and policy, to terminate the human life of another living human
- 2:28:03organism. That's that's it. I don't don't want to go beyond that in
- 2:28:09this discussion, but simply simply put, if we're going to say it's not
- 2:28:15okay to shoot your neighbor for a particular reason, then you have to come
- 2:28:22up with an an exterior reason, you know, and and and external reason
- 2:28:26or whatever, uh, an additional reason why it has to be okay in
- 2:28:33utero, and I went through the whole you know, this is this is
- 2:28:39what an organism is. This is what scientifically determines whether you're human or some
- 2:28:45other species. This is what determines whether you're living or non living, whether
- 2:28:50you're dealing with a non living thing or a living thing, I should say.
- 2:28:54And when you combine that those three sets of information, you get a
- 2:28:58conclusion that that becomes applicable to law and policy. Now, my own personal
- 2:29:09position is there shouldn't be a government, so that throws law out the window,
- 2:29:16and it becomes an ethical question for the individual. At that point,
- 2:29:20do you are Are you okay with shooting people, for instance, to get
- 2:29:24rid of them because they have a disability. If you are, you might
- 2:29:28be more okay with abortion than I am. But yeah, so there you
- 2:29:33go, and it becomes a question of it becomes a question of when it
- 2:29:37becomes human. Yeah, and that's I I certainly don't feel qualified to answer
- 2:29:43that question. I mean, every cell in a blast assist is a human
- 2:29:48cell, so you could say a blast assist is a human and yeah,
- 2:29:54that's that's what that's going. It gets complicated, and I'm gonna duck out
- 2:29:58of that conversation that I just started because I'm not qualified because I'm a man.
- 2:30:03Well, being a man doesn't disqualify you. But there are people that
- 2:30:05will say being not being a biologist disqualifies you. But I call bullshit on
- 2:30:09that, because they teach us about that stuff in elementary school. So which
- 2:30:13is again why at thirteen I hadn't formed the excuses for abortion, and I
- 2:30:20was able to see through the bullshit much more easily. I didn't know the
- 2:30:24clouds in front of me that you get when you get older as a as
- 2:30:26a woman, I think women hit peak maturity at about fourteen years old and
- 2:30:33then go downhill, which is like that and reddits the reddits red Pill Forum
- 2:30:43considering how mature the average fourteen year old girl is farewell, and I'm talking
- 2:30:50about today's women. Like if you talk about women one hundred and fifty years
- 2:30:54ago, there was a difference, especially if you're talking women that were,
- 2:31:00you know, maybe in more pioneering areas of the country where there was less
- 2:31:07less urban closeness and stuff, and it was all you had to depend on
- 2:31:13the people around you and you had to be reliable and stuff like that.
- 2:31:16Then maybe they matured their whole lives. But I don't think that's the way
- 2:31:20it is for modern women. I think modern women really do stop maturing at
- 2:31:24about the age of fourteen and go downhill from there. They certainly never are
- 2:31:30faced with the level of responsibility that an adult man is faced with. If
- 2:31:35I, for instance, at fourteen years old, if I had decided for
- 2:31:39my life, I am going to find a guy who will allow me to
- 2:31:46exploit the fruits of his labor for his whole life while I never earn a
- 2:31:52penny and I get a free roof over my head and clothing and vacations and
- 2:31:56whatever else that you pay for as a couple. Nobody would be like,
- 2:32:01oh, you're a deadbeat, right. But if a man did that,
- 2:32:05I'm going to find a woman and be a kept man. I'm going to
- 2:32:07find a woman who will pay for everything, and I'm not gonna work.
- 2:32:11The minute a man does that, people are like, oh, deadbeat.
- 2:32:15What's wrong with you when you can't support your woman? Something, something's wrong
- 2:32:18with that, you know. Even a guy that's going to be a stay
- 2:32:20at home dad, right, is expected to have some some iron and fire
- 2:32:24somewhere. Right, So only women are exempt from that, And only women
- 2:32:31are exempt from being financially responsible, being good stewards of the man's income when
- 2:32:37they do that. Right, If she wastes his money, nobody criticizes her
- 2:32:41for that. They'll call him a fool for allowing her to do it too,
- 2:32:46yeah, or a poor earner he's not earning enough he can't support his
- 2:32:50woman. But if if a guy marries a woman and wastes her money then,
- 2:33:00and he's he's he's a deadbeat, he's a moocher, right like he's
- 2:33:05he's just he's effeminate, he's emasculated, like all these things. Not because
- 2:33:13we don't think that dads are important as a society, but because we do
- 2:33:18think that the male provider role is important. And honestly, you know,
- 2:33:26a few hundred years ago, when we didn't have all of the amenities that
- 2:33:31we have today, and we didn't all live in close proximity with each other,
- 2:33:39having one parents stay at home while the other one went to work was
- 2:33:43absolutely necessary, you know, or or at least if they didn't run a
- 2:33:48business together like some some families, everybody ran the business together, especially farmers.
- 2:33:52Like everybody worked on the farm, farm wives, we're not home just
- 2:34:00homemakers, right They did farm work, and the kids worked on the farm,
- 2:34:03and they had a trade. They knew a trade. When they grew
- 2:34:07up, they could be farmers. But it doesn't make sense today. For
- 2:34:15for like I live in an apartment with my husband, it would not make
- 2:34:18sense for me to be a homemaker and only a homemaker in that instance.
- 2:34:28Right there, we didn't have a business together, our son didn't grow up
- 2:34:33learning a business from us. We did have close proximity to people that we
- 2:34:39could trade childcare with. That it was not a kid being dumped into a
- 2:34:46childcare system. It was visiting with friends and family and then having them come
- 2:34:50and visit us. Right, that's that's it's perfectly fair to expect the woman
- 2:34:56to hold up her end of the finances in that situation, and yet our
- 2:35:03society treats women like that expectation is unnecessary. Women are exempt, only men
- 2:35:09are obligated. So yeah, that's that the maturity thing. This is why,
- 2:35:16honestly, all these women liked what this woman posted. They don't have
- 2:35:22the maturity to value other people's recognition of their personal agency. If someone thought
- 2:35:30that I didn't have the capacity, that it wasn't my fault when I didn't
- 2:35:37plan ahead before I got pregnant. If someone thought that that was that was
- 2:35:41all my husband's fault, that's an insult to me. Right, that's telling
- 2:35:48me that I'm gonna have to go through life trap sing merrily along with no
- 2:35:52attention to the potential consequences of my actions, just being victimized over and over
- 2:35:58again by my own stupid choices. And watching my family be victimized as well,
- 2:36:05instead of figuring out, hey, you know I could have done this
- 2:36:09better, and if I do this again, here's how I'm going to improve
- 2:36:13it. I screwed this up, and then the consequences are affecting my family.
- 2:36:18Here's how I'm gonna work to mitigate those consequences so that they don't have
- 2:36:24to suffer the consequences of my stupid choice. That is agency, even if
- 2:36:30you didn't exercise your agency properly when you made the dumb choice, having the
- 2:36:35agency to recognize that it was a dumb choice and you're not going to make
- 2:36:39that dumb choice again, and that you've got to you. It's on you
- 2:36:41to make up for it. It's on you to fix it as best you
- 2:36:46can. Like that. That's that's part of being an adult. You're not
- 2:36:56an adult if you don't have that. So these women are insulting themselves very
- 2:37:01deeply and they don't even realize it. When when when a woman is in
- 2:37:07labor, like in the most painful part of the labor process, and their
- 2:37:13husband or the man who can't them pregnant is by their side holding their hand,
- 2:37:18mopping their brow and such it's it's it's kind of a cliche at this
- 2:37:24point that at some point they will turn to their man and yell in their
- 2:37:28screetious voice, you did this to me. You you did this. And
- 2:37:35that's fair enough. When they're in the process of labor, you can allow
- 2:37:37them this kind of contingency because you know, because because they're in a quite
- 2:37:43distressed situation. Yeah, yeah, But if they extend that beyond it,
- 2:37:50into the future and indeed into the past, like yeah, you don't get
- 2:37:56that contingency anymore once the pain is over or before the pain is of Like,
- 2:38:03no, you don't. We have sympathy for you ladies during those moments
- 2:38:13of of of the pain of childbirth, because we will never experience that.
- 2:38:18But if you extend it beyond that, I mean, there's only so far
- 2:38:24you can extend it beyond that before we go ahead and all right, all
- 2:38:26right, you're not in hideous birth pains anymore. You did this to yourself.
- 2:38:31I didn't rape you. Nobody raped you. Like at some point you
- 2:38:37have to be like, yeah, I did this to myself. And it
- 2:38:39sucks that human beings have the largest heads by ratio of pelvis of just about
- 2:38:48any animal. On this planet, it's to make room for our damn egos.
- 2:38:54That's yeah, nobody knows what came first, the large brains or the
- 2:38:58large uses, or the large vaginas. Evolution, evolution has attempted to compensate
- 2:39:07for whatever came first, and and and yeah, there comes a point where
- 2:39:13you're like, yeah, yeah, you got to experience but you had to
- 2:39:18experience pain for up to a couple of days. But yeah, if you're
- 2:39:24going to make men experience a not similar pain, but a pain that goes
- 2:39:33on for eighteen years, like I said earlier, yeah, the worst thing
- 2:39:39a woman can experience is a couple of days of labor, and they have
- 2:39:41ep durals and all manner of drugs to help them through it. But you're
- 2:39:46you're able to make a man work for eighteen years to support this child of
- 2:39:52yours, I mean of his, I mean the child that he didn't want
- 2:39:56and somehow created. And and yet men don't get drugs to get them through
- 2:40:01eighteen years of of hard labor. Well, they do, but all of
- 2:40:05those drugs are illegal and expensive. So can men get some sympathy perhaps for
- 2:40:13what they have to go through? Not because of biology, but because of
- 2:40:18the legal system. I know, I know. Feminists love to ignore the
- 2:40:22legal system when it suits them, and they love to win. They love
- 2:40:24to ignore biology when it suits them. But this, this, this whole
- 2:40:30fucking thread is a good example of women ignoring what men have to go through
- 2:40:35legally because of what women have to go through biologically, and they don't.
- 2:40:41By the way, they can still get an abortion. Abortions have not been
- 2:40:45made illegal because of the overturning of reversus Wade. It's just that states can
- 2:40:52no longer be forced to make doctors perform an abortion. Yeah, they're they're
- 2:41:00looking at trying to change that with federal legislation now anyway, So we'll see
- 2:41:05how that plays out. But in terms of in terms of agency, what
- 2:41:13really what really gets me is she's not recognizing female behavior here. Let's look
- 2:41:24at this next pairgraph. So she's talking about her argument taking the emotion out
- 2:41:30of the abortion argument, and that placing the onus on men removes the discussion
- 2:41:39about the procedure and the ethics, the philosophy, the religion, whatever,
- 2:41:46and places it on prevention. If we talk about prevention, it removes all
- 2:41:52emotion, as if we haven't been talking about prevention for years, because the
- 2:42:00prevention that we were talking about was women's ability to prevent conception, Like she
- 2:42:07talks about it like that conversation never happened. That conversation has been ongoing for
- 2:42:13as long as prevention and abortion have both been available. And that's that's before
- 2:42:22birth birth control pills existed. Right, you can prevent pregnancy without ever touching
- 2:42:31hormonal birth control. And so this idea that it's on men and it's not
- 2:42:39on women, I don't think that changes the conversation at all, because when
- 2:42:46I argue with women on social media about this, one of the first things
- 2:42:50they talk about is how birth control can fail. Now, they still make
- 2:42:56the argument about men irresponsibly ejaculating, right, but they'll say condoms can fail.
- 2:43:03So their argument is that when sex happens, the man shouldn't ejaculate.
- 2:43:13I've run into that over and over again. It doesn't take the emotion out,
- 2:43:18It brings the mean girls out. Yeah, how the hell didn't do
- 2:43:24you make that happen any god damn way. I mean, once you're there,
- 2:43:31there's no turning back. To quote, Those guys aren't into the whole
- 2:43:35tantrick holding off things, so to quote, Billy Connolly from one of his
- 2:43:41routines, the withdraw method is at the point of ejaculation, withdraw, and
- 2:43:50he's like, that is the a packet of wild horses that could make my
- 2:43:56ass go in that direction at the point of ejaculation. And then it's it's
- 2:44:03a dumb argument anyway, because and there's such a thing as pre come.
- 2:44:09There's there's, uh, you know, all kinds of reasons why withdrawing at
- 2:44:16the point of exactulation doesn't necessarily prevent pregnancy. No matter which direction you're going,
- 2:44:24right, the substance is going forward, and uh, if it comes
- 2:44:30out with any force, withdrawing is not going to keep it off of her
- 2:44:35flesh. Only one has to get in, you know, like it's unusual
- 2:44:41for that to happen, but only one has to get in, and that's
- 2:44:45all it takes to form conception. So yeah, her her argument is shit.
- 2:44:52And you know, she's like, the whole rest of this, I'm
- 2:44:56not gonna go through every aspect, but she's nothing abortion opponents are arguing for
- 2:45:01is actually reducing abortions. It's because women have no agency in society. Women
- 2:45:07are not accountable for their actions. If women were held accountable for their choices,
- 2:45:16and we're not given the sympathy of, well, you know you need
- 2:45:22to have this abortion because this pregnancy was inflicted upon you, then we would
- 2:45:26we would have a better situation. If you want to talk prevention, teach
- 2:45:31women. Teach girls in special or in sex side class. Teach girls that
- 2:45:41they have all kinds of methods and birth control and they can say no and
- 2:45:46they can use a different hole. They don't have to get pregnant from sex,
- 2:45:50that's it. And teach them that it's their responsibility to determine what goes
- 2:45:56into their uterus and whether they allow it to live along enough to fertilize an
- 2:46:00egg. Right, she says, Oh, I've experienced pregnancy and I didn't
- 2:46:07enjoy it, Like that's irrelevant. Again, I did it over and over
- 2:46:13again. Then it's on you to prevent it. Yeah, right. If
- 2:46:20abortions go down, it would also signal that men are not treating women's body
- 2:46:26bodies so casually. Women who complain about this really really surprised me, Like,
- 2:46:33do you know the reason that you view him as treating your body casually?
- 2:46:39His treatment of your body is not the only casual treatment, right,
- 2:46:45You're saying, he treats your body casually. But everything that he thinks is
- 2:46:50okay is because you treat your body casually. If I'm a cop, right
- 2:47:00and I go into high crime territory, get into a gunfight with with criminals
- 2:47:07and I get shot because I didn't wear my bulletproof vest, it's my fault
- 2:47:16that I didn't wear the vest. Even if it's their fault they shot me,
- 2:47:22it's my fault they had access. It's your fault. Seman gets into
- 2:47:28your uterus. Even if it's his fault that he stuck his dick in your
- 2:47:33vagina, it's your fault that he had access. You know, as long
- 2:47:39as it's consensual sex we're talking about, it's your fault that he had access.
- 2:47:45It's your fault the semen had access. It's your fault that you didn't
- 2:47:48kill it with chemicals in your vagina or out just outside the cervix. Right
- 2:47:56that those are things you can do, you chose not to do them.
- 2:48:01It just that bugs the shit out of me. Stop blaming somebody else.
- 2:48:09And that's that's basically her take. I'm not gonna the rest of it.
- 2:48:13They're getting into their religious stuff. I don't I don't want to get into
- 2:48:16the religious aspect of it, because, in my opinion, because we're talking
- 2:48:24about an American making an argument in an American debate, religion doesn't matter.
- 2:48:31Religion is not allowed to inform our law and policy, So I don't care
- 2:48:35what her religious outlook on this. Is My biggest concern is she's defining femininity
- 2:48:43and she's defining womanhood without making part of the standard for being a woman having
- 2:48:54adult accountability. What differentiates us us from little girls? Is it the fact
- 2:49:03that we grew tits? I had a friend in school it grew tits when
- 2:49:07she was eight years old, said she sure wasn't an adult, right,
- 2:49:15So it's not the fact that we grew tits. It's not that we got
- 2:49:18taller, it's not that we got curvy. What differentiates us. What makes
- 2:49:24us adults if not accountability and yet women and I've never seen anybody worked so
- 2:49:31hard to avoid accountability as modern women. So there we go. That's that's
- 2:49:41my take on this. Do you guys have any little anything to add,
- 2:49:46any questions, any thoughts, because I'm not going any farther in the article.
- 2:49:52It's late and we're tired. Okay, that's that's a good, good
- 2:49:58answer, wrap it up, don't stick your dick and crazy guys. Yeah,
- 2:50:03and it's late and yeah, yeah that's true. That is true.
- 2:50:11And uh, if you don't know what crazy looks like, it's the woman
- 2:50:13that made this argument. Mmm. So that's that's one one way, that's
- 2:50:20what crazy looks like. So with that, let's let's get into the super
- 2:50:24chats. We have Sour Vodka gave us two dollars Australian and said family court
- 2:50:30is so biased against men. I copied that twice. It means I missed
- 2:50:37one. I'm gonna go back to see if I can see that one again.
- 2:50:46Okay, so we have beyond that. Scrolling back down here we go.
- 2:50:54Uh, yeah, there's family court. So the next one. Sour
- 2:50:58Vodka gave us two dollars Australian and said, I appreciate the women badgers absolute
- 2:51:03mr, and I think we appreciate you as well, Thank you very much.
- 2:51:09Sauer Vodka gave us two dollars Australian and said more PET shelters than four
- 2:51:13men. Regarding DV I'm not sure what pet is. Then we have Master
- 2:51:20Rogue gave us five dollars and said I possessed memories from my time in the
- 2:51:24womb, So life is definitely in the womb. And then let's see how
- 2:51:31I would love to say, yeah, I know, I would let this
- 2:51:35hear what that was like. That's an interesting type amount, like I possessed
- 2:51:39memories from when I was eighteen months old. But it's because I had a
- 2:51:45near death experience. And trauma fixes things in your head, like you remember
- 2:51:50those I've had trips where I felt like I was in the womb and that
- 2:51:56I was experiencing uh past trauma. Yeah, do people get PTSD from being
- 2:52:03born? If you remember it hard enough, I would argue that people do
- 2:52:09have PTSD from being circumcised. Well yeah, yeah, but it's not the
- 2:52:15same as being born. If everyone got PTSD from being born, we'd all
- 2:52:18be as fucked up as a army veteran. Yeah, let's see we have
- 2:52:28let's see. Yeah, no salmon king. I'm not that tired, but
- 2:52:33these guys might be. I didn't work all day to day. I slept
- 2:52:37for like three hours today. And PET as in animals. Eric Bruner says,
- 2:52:43that's that's possible. This was Capital PET and it's in Australia. So
- 2:52:48I don't know Richard. Oh this is this is from last week. I
- 2:52:52missed a super chow from Richard br last week, so I'm gonna read it
- 2:52:56today. He says he gave us five dollars and said, remember when they
- 2:53:01used to have the grocery Bagger Olympics where one contest was to pack a bag
- 2:53:05which would be cut away and the best scores were to the package arrangement that
- 2:53:11wouldn't fall over upon removing the bags. That was on television. I do
- 2:53:16kind of remember that. Yeah, that's that's pretty cool. And I mean,
- 2:53:20you can you can make anything into a competitive skill, and when you
- 2:53:28do that, it makes men want to work harder at it. So that
- 2:53:33does kind of a neat thing in my opinion because it gives the you know,
- 2:53:39the boys. It's most it was mostly underage and like college age guys
- 2:53:48that we're doing that job. So let's see today is the thirty first.
- 2:53:52I'm scrolling and scrolling because there's been a lot of super chows and that's good.
- 2:54:00Let's see. So today at seven fifty or at No. Seven o
- 2:54:07five pm is where I'm going to start, because yeah, there we go.
- 2:54:09There's where he says, done Meredith g gave us five dollars and said,
- 2:54:15HBr talk to seventy five honey for the Badgers. Tell um Nar gave
- 2:54:20us one hundred dollars. Thank you very much for that. Tell um Nar
- 2:54:24and says that story from Lauren of the young man who is going to be
- 2:54:26potentially responsible and possibly face legal consequences reminded me of something. I'm not sure
- 2:54:35how to pronounce the name. I think it's Emil E m I L.
- 2:54:39Emile Durkheim came up with the difference between mechanical society and organic society. In
- 2:54:48mechanical society, people are self sufficient, they do not live in close communities,
- 2:54:52and therefore force is needed to keep society functioning, so laws are brutal,
- 2:54:58public and rely on fright the individual into complying with social norms. In
- 2:55:01organic society, people are more socially integrated and work together more closely due to
- 2:55:07more complex economics ie. Industrialization, requiring close collaboration. So people have to
- 2:55:13be nice to each other because we are economically dependent on each other as opposed
- 2:55:18to living on a bunch of isolated farms, and laws are quote nicer,
- 2:55:24focusing on repairing damage and more on effects on individuals rather than community. He
- 2:55:30thought society was going from mechanical to organic due to population growth and more complicated
- 2:55:35economies. However, in my opinion, it looks like we're going from organic
- 2:55:37to mechanical, at least for men, by using the state to take men's
- 2:55:43wealth and give it to women and incentivizing family break up. The law punishes
- 2:55:48men harshly and publicly, even for doing nothing wrong nominally for the benefit of
- 2:55:54the community. He wrote this back in the eighteen nineties, feminism in the
- 2:56:00welfare state had yet to really take off. It breaks this process because if
- 2:56:05you have to if you have access to excess welfare, you do not have
- 2:56:09to work together with others, just complain to the state. That's an interesting
- 2:56:13take, and it does fit the way men are treated in terms of responsibility
- 2:56:22for any reproductive choice, any butt hurt over a break up, anything like
- 2:56:28that. It's it's like our society exists to punishment for failing to satisfy women.
- 2:56:39Yeah, sleep yass gave us five dollars but did not leave a message.
- 2:56:46And that's the super chows I have had the let's see here, the
- 2:56:56rumble thing was closed, So let's look at that real quick, see if
- 2:57:00there's any and it's not showing me any paid comments on rumble, any paid
- 2:57:09rants, although there's Mangatka ninety two says teach men not to coomb in quotes.
- 2:57:20Could luck with that, and uh Oi can always says, damn memories
- 2:57:30from the womb. That's intense. Well, a master rogue has clarified that
- 2:57:35basically, it was very orangeish red. All sound was muffled. I tried
- 2:57:39to analyze my surroundings to figure out where I was, and I saw a
- 2:57:43hand's shadow and wanted to hug it in a nutshell, So it's it sounds
- 2:57:48like momentary memories and that that sounds about right for what it would be because
- 2:58:01there's some evidence of although depending on how far along I mean, that sounds
- 2:58:07like a later term for light to be able to get through so you could
- 2:58:11see color. I just I don't know how much light would be able to
- 2:58:16get through, but I will tell you I my belly stretched when I was
- 2:58:22pregnant to the degree that it was really weird. It was all forward,
- 2:58:28so if you looked at me from behind, you thought maybe I gained a
- 2:58:31little weight, not very much, and then I would turn sideways, and
- 2:58:35I actually had people that hadn't seen me in a while. They'd see me
- 2:58:39from behind and they'd be like, hey, Hannah, and then I'd turn
- 2:58:41around and they'd be like whoa, Like whoa, what's going on with you?
- 2:58:48You know? And then I'd be like, well, yeah, you
- 2:58:50know, I'm about eight months and but yeah, and they've done. There's
- 2:58:56been video in Utero that shows orange red colors, but it h I think
- 2:59:05there's a light source inside that causes that. Master Roke says, I also
- 2:59:11try to kick my surroundings to investigate it. I swear, I swear to
- 2:59:18you guys. When I was pregnant, my son was in there playing soccer
- 2:59:20or basketball like I was never still But anyway, so that's all the super
- 2:59:28chat super chats uh and and super duper communications that I am aware of.
- 2:59:33I don't think I've missed any this time, because I started at done and
- 2:59:39went to the last one. So I'm gonna type done in a year,
- 2:59:43and I'm gonna thank everybody for listening. Thanks to my two co hosts for
- 2:59:48sticking out this long and very badly seasoned sausage the The the article was badly
- 2:59:56seasoned. I think that that we got pretty spicy, well at least I
- 3:00:00did. Maybe we got pretty spicy in our discussion. And thanks to everybody
- 3:00:05who works in the background to make HBr talk happen. And good night all
