- 0:19Speaker 1: God is in the blessing business all day every day.
- 0:23Speaker 2: God got hundreds of millions of blessings that he passes
- 0:27Speaker 2: out every day. All I want to do is be
- 0:32Speaker 2: the recipient that I'm the recipient of what He has
- 0:36Speaker 2: for me. That's all I want. I just want God's favor,
- 0:42Speaker 2: and I go. I want God's blessings. You know, of
- 0:45Speaker 2: course I need his mercy and his grace, but I
- 0:49Speaker 2: just want his blessings and his favor.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I want.
- 0:54Speaker 2: I want that in my life because it does things
- 0:57Speaker 2: for me that I'm absolutely incapable of doing for myself.
- 1:02Speaker 2: And I've been a recipient of many of those. And
- 1:05Speaker 2: you can be the recipient of them too. You already are, really, really,
- 1:10Speaker 2: you already are. If you're getting up every morning, that's
- 1:13Speaker 2: a blessing. If you're getting one day closer to anything
- 1:17Speaker 2: you're trying to accomplish, that's a blessing. But now let
- 1:22Speaker 2: me talk to you about this part right here, folks,
- 1:23Speaker 2: because this is the part that message people up a
- 1:25Speaker 2: great deal what happens when you get off track? What
- 1:30Speaker 2: is that? What does that mean? When you get off track? See,
- 1:37Speaker 2: I've been off track. I can't tell you how many times,
- 1:41Speaker 2: and it happens in so many aspects of your life.
- 1:44Speaker 2: But what is it that makes getting off track so
- 1:48Speaker 2: debilitating to some people? You know, there are some people
- 1:51Speaker 2: who want theay off track. They of course they off
- 1:55Speaker 2: the dream. They on to something else. And you cannot
- 1:58Speaker 2: allow the fact that you've gotten off track to stop you.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Can. I tell you something. Everybody gets off track.
- 2:10Speaker 2: There are people who are living their life's dreams in
- 2:16Speaker 2: spite of getting off track. See what happens when you
- 2:19Speaker 2: get off track? Here's the simple thing to do. The
- 2:23Speaker 2: simple thing is just to get back on track. Now
- 2:25Speaker 2: that's that's But that's easier said than done, ain't it, Steve?
- 2:29Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 2:30Speaker 2: Because see people, when you get off track. Here's some
- 2:33Speaker 2: of the things that happen. See you get the here
- 2:36Speaker 2: come to nay says some of them from the outside,
- 2:40Speaker 2: some of them internally. Here's what gets said when you
- 2:44Speaker 2: get off track. See I told you, I told you.
- 2:49Speaker 2: You know you start hearing that it's not for you. Okay,
- 2:57Speaker 2: this is all just because you got off track.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It's not for you.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Okay, here's another one. It ain't meant to be. You
- 3:06Speaker 2: can hear it all, you can say it. Well, I
- 3:09Speaker 2: guess it's just not meant to be. But let me
- 3:13Speaker 2: ask you a question, though, Who made the rule that
- 3:18Speaker 2: when you get off track you can't get back on?
- 3:22Speaker 1: Who made that rule?
- 3:24Speaker 2: Where has that written that once you get off track
- 3:27Speaker 2: you can't get back on? See, because I'm gonna tell
- 3:31Speaker 2: you something, folks, there's no such rule. As a matter
- 3:35Speaker 2: of fact, it's quite the opposite. See, everybody in pursuit
- 3:42Speaker 2: of a dream, a goal, an aspiration, or mission is
- 3:47Speaker 2: going to get off track. Sometimes you're going to get derailed.
- 3:51Speaker 2: There are going to be days where you're not going
- 3:54Speaker 2: to get it right. That are going to be days
- 3:56Speaker 2: where you feel like giving up. There's going to be
- 3:58Speaker 2: days when you're just gonna let I'll get it wrong.
- 4:01Speaker 1: That's the journey. But let me tell you something.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Every successful person that I know, ever met, talked to,
- 4:08Speaker 2: set out, and chopped it up with, have shared one
- 4:10Speaker 2: thing in common. We all get off track. We all
- 4:16Speaker 2: get it wrong along the way. I don't care who
- 4:18Speaker 2: the person is. The president got it wrong along the way.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Your pastor got it wrong along the way. Choi, director, go,
- 4:28Speaker 2: I got it wrong along the way. The principle at
- 4:30Speaker 2: your school got it wrong along the way. The valve
- 4:34Speaker 2: of victorian of your class got it wrong along the way.
- 4:39Speaker 2: The star of the team got it wrong along the way.
- 4:44Speaker 2: They've all been off track. Your boss down at your job,
- 4:49Speaker 2: he got it wrong along the way. Your immediate supervisor
- 4:52Speaker 2: got it wrong along the way. Everybody I know that
- 4:58Speaker 2: has any measure of success in every level that you
- 5:02Speaker 2: call success, however you want to label it, has gotten
- 5:05Speaker 2: off track. As a matter of fact, it's impossible. Listen
- 5:11Speaker 2: to me, it is impossible not to get off track
- 5:18Speaker 2: in pursuit of your dreams, goals, visions, aspirations. It is impossible.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Don't you let nobody tell you that they got through
- 5:27Speaker 2: life unscathed, that they made it because they were just
- 5:31Speaker 2: so determined. And I would let nothing turn me back. Yeah,
- 5:35Speaker 2: you might not have let nothing turn you back because
- 5:37Speaker 2: you hear, Oh, but you thought about it. Oh, you
- 5:42Speaker 2: thought about it on days when you was off track.
- 5:44Speaker 2: But see, people don't like to tell the whole story.
- 5:47Speaker 2: They just want you to think as much as you
- 5:49Speaker 2: can about them. So when they tell you their story,
- 5:52Speaker 2: they leave out the stuff along the way. It was
- 5:56Speaker 2: just hard work and determination that got me here. No,
- 5:58Speaker 2: it wasn't wasn't it was the fact that you got
- 6:02Speaker 2: off track and the grace and mercy of God allowed
- 6:05Speaker 2: you to get back on. His forgiveness allowed you to
- 6:09Speaker 2: get back on because you would not believe what some
- 6:11Speaker 2: of the people have done. So when you get off track,
- 6:15Speaker 2: don't allow the naysayers outside and the big naysayer inside,
- 6:20Speaker 2: because let me tell you something, the biggest naysayer of
- 6:23Speaker 2: them all comes from inside. See, it don't matter what
- 6:27Speaker 2: other people say out there. And it takes some time
- 6:29Speaker 2: for you to learn this. And I understand because it
- 6:31Speaker 2: took me some time to learn it. See, I have
- 6:33Speaker 2: a lot of naysayers out there, but I ain't operating
- 6:37Speaker 2: for them, operating function for the ones that love me,
- 6:41Speaker 2: for the ones that get me, for the ones that
- 6:44Speaker 2: understand what I'm really trying to do. And so don't
- 6:48Speaker 2: you be the one that doesn't allow yourself to get
- 6:53Speaker 2: back on track when you get off track, Because, like
- 6:56Speaker 2: I said, who made the rule up that you can't
- 6:58Speaker 2: get back on track?
- 7:01Speaker 1: There's no such rule out there.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Stop stopping yourself from getting it right. Sw what you
- 7:09Speaker 2: started to die at the beginning of the year, and
- 7:11Speaker 2: you already off start another one, start over, try it again,
- 7:18Speaker 2: don't ever stop trying.
- 7:19Speaker 1: If you stop trying, you can't make it.
- 7:22Speaker 2: But if you never give up the effort, if you
- 7:24Speaker 2: never give up and say it's over, it ain't over.
- 7:27Speaker 1: You heard the saying it ain't over.
- 7:29Speaker 2: To the fat lady saying I never invite her, she's
- 7:34Speaker 2: not invited.
- 7:36Speaker 1: It ain't over.
- 7:37Speaker 2: To the fat lady saying I don't know where the
- 7:39Speaker 2: fat lady stay. I have not sent her an invitation
- 7:43Speaker 2: to none of my events. She's not welcome here. She
- 7:47Speaker 2: didn't ask me a couple of times. How come I
- 7:50Speaker 2: never get invited? Because you gonna start saying it and
- 7:54Speaker 2: I ain't got time for that. All right, stop inviting
- 7:57Speaker 2: the fat lady to all your events.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Thank you. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
