- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's get back to the Mark Simone show on wor Well. Hey,
- 0:09Speaker 1: we got a lot to get to today. We're talking
- 0:10Speaker 1: about Colbert before and I'm starting to think, you know,
- 0:16Speaker 1: they're getting rid of it. May twenty first, it's gone.
- 0:19Speaker 1: It will be placed by a nice, normal comedy show
- 0:21Speaker 1: in the political jokes and a game show will replace Colbert.
- 0:27Speaker 1: But maybe we need Colbert. You know why these people
- 0:32Speaker 1: with the Trump derangement syndrome, they're just raging maniacs, are
- 0:35Speaker 1: just filled with rage, and maybe we need that. It's
- 0:40Speaker 1: like some kind of a therapy session for him, let
- 0:43Speaker 1: their rage out for you know, an hour every night
- 0:45Speaker 1: watching Colbert. Maybe it's like a anger management something. Maybe
- 0:49Speaker 1: it helps. I don't know. You know, if you watch
- 0:52Speaker 1: the President's briefing yesterday where he went through in detail
- 0:57Speaker 1: the amazing rescue operation, it was so moving and powerful.
- 1:03Speaker 1: The way they rescued this guy. One hundred of our
- 1:05Speaker 1: best commandos, Navy seals rangers scaling the seven thousand foot
- 1:13Speaker 1: cliff mountain to get to this guy and pull him
- 1:16Speaker 1: out of the kit and bring him to say it
- 1:17Speaker 1: was incredible. I mean you could have tears in your
- 1:19Speaker 1: eyes and listening to this every time they talk to
- 1:22Speaker 1: any left wing people, they just say they got so
- 1:27Speaker 1: angry watching it that they couldn't stand it. And why
- 1:29Speaker 1: did Trump go on so much? If it was they
- 1:31Speaker 1: thought it'd be ten minutes, and he's talking for a
- 1:33Speaker 1: half hour, and they were getting madder and madder, one
- 1:36Speaker 1: of them telling me they had to start drinking just
- 1:37Speaker 1: to get there. And then he talked for an hour
- 1:39Speaker 1: and they couldn't. Then he talked for an hour and
- 1:41Speaker 1: a half, then it went to hours. They said they
- 1:43Speaker 1: were in such a rage they couldn't think straight for
- 1:46Speaker 1: the rest of it. How could you get mad watching that? Well,
- 1:50Speaker 1: I guess the other things were. He was talking about
- 1:52Speaker 1: the eight pm deadline and all of that. So for
- 1:55Speaker 1: your left wing friends, if tonight's the deadline, eight o'clock tonight,
- 2:00Speaker 1: where we could start blowing up bridges, power plants, all
- 2:02Speaker 1: of that, So your left wing friends will go completely
- 2:06Speaker 1: completely nuts. President Trump talked about that yesterday.
- 2:10Speaker 2: We have a plan, because of the power of our military,
- 2:14Speaker 2: where every bridge in Iran will be decimated by twelve
- 2:19Speaker 2: o'clock tomorrow night, where every power plant in Iran will
- 2:24Speaker 2: be out of business, burning, exploding, and never to be used. Again,
- 2:30Speaker 2: I mean complete demolition.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Okay, Now on MSNBC and all that. Starting at nine
- 2:35Speaker 1: o'clock tonight, they'll be yelling and screaming war crimes. Morning, Joe,
- 2:39Speaker 1: they'll be yelling war crimes again. There's not a war crime. No,
- 2:44Speaker 1: there's no definition of warcrime that would apply to this.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Nothing that's done in every war. It's very common, blowing
- 2:50Speaker 1: up bridges, power plants. You could see it in a
- 2:52Speaker 1: thousand wars. But they'll yell at they We're all told
- 2:55Speaker 1: to yell this. West Bill O'Reilly about this. He's very
- 2:57Speaker 1: good at explaining this stuff. There's a group whop that
- 3:00Speaker 1: decides the language, and then it's passed around to every
- 3:05Speaker 1: Democrat what words to use, what language. We'll get to
- 3:08Speaker 1: this later in the hour. But there's more Trump.
- 3:09Speaker 2: They want us to keep bombing, even if it jeopard does,
- 3:13Speaker 2: because their life is in much greater danger. They want
- 3:16Speaker 2: freedom for Iran, but it's very hard for them to protest.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I actually tell him, I said, don't go out. I
- 3:20Speaker 2: fully understand.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Yeah, So the ultimatum we give him.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Them till tomorrow eight o'clock Eastern time, and after that
- 3:29Speaker 2: they're gonna have no bridges. They're gonna have no power
- 3:32Speaker 2: plants stone ages.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Yeah. Sorry, it sounds crazy, but every time he sounds crazy. Somehow,
- 3:42Speaker 1: six months later, it turns out he was right. As
- 3:45Speaker 1: crazy as it sounds, it turns out he was right.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Now.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Nixon did this too. He used what they called the
- 3:50Speaker 1: mad madman theory. You act like you're nuts, like you're
- 3:54Speaker 1: a complete madman. It frightens the enemy. He did that
- 3:56Speaker 1: with the Vietnamese, and Kissinger would go over there, you know,
- 3:59Speaker 1: he's crazy. I don't know what he's going to do next.
- 4:02Speaker 1: He's so crazy, he's a lunatic, and it frightens them. However,
- 4:06Speaker 1: in this case, you're dealing with real lunatics, so I
- 4:09Speaker 1: don't know if it works with another lunatic. You know,
- 4:14Speaker 1: these Iranians, it's not the Ietola. It's like we were
- 4:19Speaker 1: like three levels down now to even crazier people. So
- 4:22Speaker 1: they're so nuts. I don't know if the mad men
- 4:24Speaker 1: theory works on them, but we'll see. And again, I've
- 4:27Speaker 1: been going through this for decades with Donald Trump. If
- 4:30Speaker 1: you think he's crazy and what he's proposing or saying
- 4:33Speaker 1: or doing is absolutely nuts, you know what, somehow six
- 4:37Speaker 1: months later he was right. He pulled it off. And
- 4:39Speaker 1: guys like this. You see, we're used to professional politicians,
- 4:42Speaker 1: not entrepreneur billionaires running to see the way A big entrepreneur,
- 4:48Speaker 1: billionaire who built empires. This is what they do. They
- 4:51Speaker 1: go way, I don't a limb. They will take risks.
- 4:54Speaker 1: You know, that's how you make fortunes, That's how you
- 4:56Speaker 1: build empires. You got to be absolutely fearless. You got
- 4:59Speaker 1: to walk, got to the very very very end of
- 5:01Speaker 1: the limb. When you hear it cracking and everything, you
- 5:03Speaker 1: still stand there. That's that's what those guys have that
- 5:08Speaker 1: we don't have. They can take these incredible, incredible risks.
- 5:12Speaker 1: So let's see tonight. Now, what will Colbert do because
- 5:17Speaker 1: he takes the show early, like five point thirty, so
- 5:20Speaker 1: he'll have to talk about it, but he won't know
- 5:22Speaker 1: if the bombing took place at eight o'clock. He said,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I'm speaking to Colbert. So they're going to replace it
- 5:27Speaker 1: with a comedy show produced by Byron Allen. But that's
- 5:30Speaker 1: still pretty expensive. You know, it's a comedy show comedian,
- 5:32Speaker 1: so you need an audience, you need all that stuff.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Then they're going to do a game show. It'll be
- 5:37Speaker 1: cheaper than Colbert, but it's still expensive. You know. The
- 5:40Speaker 1: big trend now is have you seen Sean Hannity's new show.
- 5:44Speaker 1: It's called Hangout, and it's in what looks like his
- 5:49Speaker 1: man cave or his basement or something. It's got a
- 5:51Speaker 1: pool table, it's got a dartboard, wood paneled, and it's
- 5:55Speaker 1: just him and somebody, a big name, guess toy. They
- 5:58Speaker 1: just sit there and they talk for an hour. And
- 6:01Speaker 1: it all goes back to Bill Maher who started this
- 6:03Speaker 1: with Club Random, and it looked pretty weird at the time.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Bill Maher, who had a big, big nighttime show on
- 6:11Speaker 1: big audience, studio audience. They did it at CBS Television
- 6:15Speaker 1: City with a big, big studio, big audience. And then
- 6:19Speaker 1: he started doing this Club Random, where he built like
- 6:22Speaker 1: a room in his basement with the wood paneling and
- 6:25Speaker 1: the bar and dartboard, and he just would sit there
- 6:28Speaker 1: with somebody would just talk for an hour and a half.
- 6:30Speaker 1: And I got to admit, it's pretty interesting. I watch
- 6:32Speaker 1: it a lot. The Woody Allen one, the Billy joel On,
- 6:36Speaker 1: there's a lot of them. They were really interesting. Club Random.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Bill Maher started watching You Love It, so everybody started
- 6:42Speaker 1: doing a lot of the podcasts switched to that kind
- 6:44Speaker 1: of look, and Hannity's doing now it's pretty successful hang
- 6:48Speaker 1: Out with Sean Hannity. But I'm starting to think this
- 6:50Speaker 1: might be what they'll do in late night eventually, because
- 6:52Speaker 1: this can't cost much to do this. You build this
- 6:55Speaker 1: little set that looks like a basement, You got one guest,
- 6:58Speaker 1: you don't need a studio audience, you don't even need
- 7:01Speaker 1: a dressing room, and there's nothing to dress. I mean,
- 7:03Speaker 1: everybody comes looking like a slob. It's great, it's very casual.
- 7:09Speaker 1: This could be the future of you know, that's the
- 7:11Speaker 1: problem with the network television. They don't have any viewers anymore.
- 7:14Speaker 1: There's not the revenue coming in, so eventually you could
- 7:17Speaker 1: try this on late night. The only thing is this
- 7:19Speaker 1: is done always on YouTube or as a podcast, and
- 7:23Speaker 1: the idea of that is you can watch it whenever
- 7:24Speaker 1: you want. You can stop it and start it. Can't
- 7:27Speaker 1: do that on a network TV. I can't tell you
- 7:30Speaker 1: how many times I'm watching a network TV show and
- 7:34Speaker 1: there's something happens and I want to stop it, and
- 7:35Speaker 1: I go to hit the pause, and I realize I can't.
- 7:37Speaker 1: It's live I'm not used to anything live anymore, So
- 7:40Speaker 1: that's the problem with doing that. But we'll see, and
- 7:43Speaker 1: then we'll see. Do we need Colbert, Do we need
- 7:45Speaker 1: Morning Joe? Do we need Rachel Maddow? Is it anger
- 7:47Speaker 1: management therapy for these people? Maybe we do? Who knows?
- 7:51Speaker 1: And when will this end all this craziness. Well, we've
- 7:56Speaker 1: had it before where the Democrats go so far to
- 7:59Speaker 1: the left and so crazy and so and then somebody
- 8:02Speaker 1: comes along like a Bill Clinton. This happened way back then,
- 8:05Speaker 1: and Bill Clinton led them back to the center, back
- 8:08Speaker 1: to the middle where they were able to win again.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Now you know, Ram Emmanuel worked for Bill Clinton, and
- 8:15Speaker 1: in this sea of crazy Democrats, now looks like he's
- 8:18Speaker 1: trying to pull a Bill Clinton. He's now talking about
- 8:22Speaker 1: this kind of stuff. He's now actually saying out loud.
- 8:26Speaker 1: He said, Democrats have lost the plot. They're too far
- 8:29Speaker 1: to the left. They've gone crazy. They've proposed crazy things
- 8:33Speaker 1: like Latin X, defunding the police, calling everybody a racist,
- 8:39Speaker 1: crazy cultural wars. He said, we're on the losing side
- 8:42Speaker 1: of these cultural wars. Got to stop. So you see
- 8:47Speaker 1: him pointing back to the center, saying we have to
- 8:49Speaker 1: get back there. You see Gavin Newsom doing it sometimes.
- 8:54Speaker 1: But Emmanuel went on and on, Democrats are worried about
- 8:56Speaker 1: who comes into your bathroom and locker room, when the
- 9:00Speaker 1: real problem is fifty percent of our kids are not
- 9:02Speaker 1: at the right grade level, reading at grade level anymore.
- 9:06Speaker 1: We're not teaching them anything. Manuel says, you got it.
- 9:12Speaker 1: The Democrats have to get back to the middle. They're
- 9:14Speaker 1: totally disconnected now from the middle class and their values.
- 9:18Speaker 1: So this is interesting. He thinks, that's I don't know
- 9:21Speaker 1: if he's going to ever win. I mean, he's kind
- 9:22Speaker 1: of a creepy guy, but he's a very very smart
- 9:26Speaker 1: political strategist. So he's pointing to the center, saying you
- 9:29Speaker 1: got to get back there. And he also points out
- 9:32Speaker 1: the left has now become the party of white radical elites,
- 9:36Speaker 1: you know, ivy league elites. No longer the middle class,
- 9:39Speaker 1: no longer any of that. And he points out when
- 9:42Speaker 1: Clinton ran in ninety two, Carville uttered the famous phrase
- 9:46Speaker 1: it's the economy, stupid, which is really what it is.
- 9:49Speaker 1: It's not about men and women's bathrooms and all that stuff.
- 9:53Speaker 1: So thirty years later, history might repeat itself with Ram Emmanuel,
- 10:00Speaker 1: you know, people yelling about the stock market, it's really
- 10:03Speaker 1: it's come down a little because of the war. That's normal.
- 10:07Speaker 1: As we called it, John Carney called it on the show.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Stock market is basically an overreaction machine. If you go
- 10:14Speaker 1: to war and there's bombing and all that, it's going
- 10:16Speaker 1: to drop. But it's still up for the year. I
- 10:19Speaker 1: think we began the year at forty thousand. We're at
- 10:21Speaker 1: forty seven thousand. Once this is all over, we'll probably
- 10:25Speaker 1: we went to fifty before, we'll probably go to fifty two,
- 10:28Speaker 1: fifty three, we'll probably get to sixty thousand. So you're
- 10:30Speaker 1: going to see the greatest stock market ever. The economy
- 10:33Speaker 1: is very strong. In the middle of all this chaos
- 10:35Speaker 1: and war and all that, we just had the best
- 10:38Speaker 1: job support we've seen in years, one hundred and seventy
- 10:41Speaker 1: eight thousand new jobs created. That's way beyond what was expected,
- 10:45Speaker 1: way beyond. So that looks pretty good. Now. You know
- 10:49Speaker 1: these left wing heroes. Whoever hates the present the most
- 10:53Speaker 1: becomes a left wing hero. And you had that guy
- 10:55Speaker 1: Joe Kent who was in the Intelligence Department and the government.
- 11:01Speaker 1: He quit quit because of the war in Iran, and
- 11:04Speaker 1: he stood up the President Trump and he became a
- 11:07Speaker 1: left wing hero. He was suddenly on every talk show, CNN,
- 11:11Speaker 1: MS Now and all that stuff. Well, everybody said he's
- 11:15Speaker 1: a bad guy, but you know, nobody would listen to him.
- 11:17Speaker 1: But he's turned out to be a very bad guy.
- 11:21Speaker 1: He's promoting and the last week all kinds of crazy
- 11:25Speaker 1: Iranian propaganda. In fact, just over the weekend, as the
- 11:30Speaker 1: airman was lost and we were hunting for him, Kent
- 11:34Speaker 1: put out all this stuff, posting and tweeting all this
- 11:36Speaker 1: stuff about how Trump was planning to kill our own pilot,
- 11:40Speaker 1: our own airmen. We were going to blow them up
- 11:43Speaker 1: so that they couldn't fall into the hands of the Iranians.
- 11:47Speaker 1: All we were worried about is Iran parading them around,
- 11:50Speaker 1: torturing them, getting information out of him. So we decided
- 11:53Speaker 1: to kill him and we were going to bomb him.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Kent posting all this crazy nonsense. Even Monday he was
- 12:00Speaker 1: on with Jake Tapper. Even Jake Tapper told him off
- 12:03Speaker 1: for spreading Iranian propaganda. Absolutely ridiculous that he would even
- 12:08Speaker 1: try to push some of that. He called Kent's post
- 12:11Speaker 1: absolute nonsense. And of course we did rescue the guy
- 12:16Speaker 1: and spent hundreds of millions and risked hundreds of lives
- 12:18Speaker 1: to get him back. So as Jake even Jake Tapper said,
- 12:22Speaker 1: your theory didn't age well, so just gives you an
- 12:24Speaker 1: idea what a bad guy Joe Kent is. Hey, remember
- 12:27Speaker 1: we told you the Presidential Library, the Donald Trump Presidential Library,
- 12:33Speaker 1: is going to be in Miami, and you can go online.
- 12:35Speaker 1: You can see the pictures. It's a beautiful black, gleaming gold,
- 12:39Speaker 1: black skyscraper. It turns out it'll be the tallest building
- 12:43Speaker 1: in Miami. In the building, they'll put a replica of
- 12:47Speaker 1: his ballroom that he's building at the White House in there,
- 12:50Speaker 1: and they will put I don't know how they're going
- 12:52Speaker 1: to do this. The Boeing seven forty seven that he
- 12:56Speaker 1: used as Air Force one. It'll be out of service
- 12:59Speaker 1: by then, so it's going to be in the lobby. Now,
- 13:02Speaker 1: how do you get that there? You know, big a
- 13:06Speaker 1: Boeing seven forty seven is How do you get it
- 13:08Speaker 1: through the streets of Miami. How do you get it
- 13:10Speaker 1: in the building? Well, they asked Eric Trump, who's building it.
- 13:13Speaker 1: He said, well, we're not sure. We may have to
- 13:15Speaker 1: build the building around it. I guess you could get
- 13:17Speaker 1: it there, but listen to these ideas. This building normally
- 13:21Speaker 1: a presidential library. They have a replica of the Oval Office,
- 13:25Speaker 1: a small one, and they have his papers and stuff.
- 13:27Speaker 1: This is going to be different. They're going to build
- 13:29Speaker 1: a replica of the Golden Escalator, a Trump Tower. They're
- 13:33Speaker 1: going to have the seven forty seven in the lobby.
- 13:36Speaker 1: They're going to build a replica of the Oval Office
- 13:39Speaker 1: the way Trump has it done now with the gold
- 13:41Speaker 1: and all that stuff. And they're going to have a
- 13:43Speaker 1: replica of the Presidential Walk of Fame, you know where
- 13:46Speaker 1: he has those portraits and the one with Joe Biden
- 13:50Speaker 1: has an auto pen. And then they're going to build
- 13:52Speaker 1: a big gold statue of him and Butler Pennsylvania. Rememberhen
- 13:57Speaker 1: he jumped up after the bullet hit his ear. He
- 13:59Speaker 1: jumped up and pumped his fist in the air. They're
- 14:01Speaker 1: going to have a gold statue of that. Now, this
- 14:07Speaker 1: is the part that's a little unusual. It's a big skyscraper.
- 14:11Speaker 1: It's like ninety stories high. The President said that they
- 14:15Speaker 1: might make it also a hotel. It'll be a hotel.
- 14:19Speaker 1: You can stay in lots of hotel floors and florsa
- 14:21Speaker 1: hotel rooms, luxury hotel with a presidential library and the
- 14:26Speaker 1: first few floors and a seven forty seven in the lobby.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Pretty interesting idea. It's on land that was donated Miami
- 14:36Speaker 1: Dade College had about three acres of land and was
- 14:39Speaker 1: being used as a parking lot, and they gave it
- 14:41Speaker 1: back to the state, and then Ron DeSantis got control
- 14:45Speaker 1: of it and he's transferred ownership to Trump's Presidential Library Foundation.
- 14:50Speaker 1: So this could be the most spectacular, unusual presidential library.
- 14:56Speaker 1: And of course it'll give the left something to yell
- 14:58Speaker 1: and scream about that it's too tack and gaudy and
- 15:02Speaker 1: it's got a hotel and this is awful. Anyway, we'll
- 15:04Speaker 1: take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 15:08Speaker 1: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one
- 15:12Speaker 1: zero seven ten
