🚨 DON'T MISS OUT! 🚨 -- BIG Silver Price Differences · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:00
Hey everybody, welcome to Ron's Spaceman and I'm glad you're
• 0:03
here for my daddy's show. The price of silver is
• 0:06
collapsing. Is the sales volume of silver
• 0:10
collapsing in the retail bullion market?
• 0:13
And if not, what could that be telling us?
• 0:17
And are these coin shops just ripping us off?
• 0:21
Also, are you interested in getting $211.00 in free silver?
• 0:28
We're going to cover all of this with our good friend Coin Shop.
• 0:32
Chris, welcome back to Ron's basement.
• 0:35
How you doing, Ron? I'm doing pretty good, buddy.
• 0:37
How are you doing it? Is great to be back in the
• 0:40
basement, my friend. Yeah, back to the great to be
• 0:43
back, Great to have you back, but not a great silver price.
• 0:47
Lately it has been absolutely collapsing.
• 0:50
Chris, what do you think about that?
• 0:52
Well, it collapsed Monday to 3rd on and Friday we picked up some,
• 0:57
  so I mean. That's okay.
• 0:59
I mean, you know, I didn't think it was a dip dip below 22, so I
• 1:03
was wrong there. So I will always announce when
• 1:06
I'm wrong. Well, at least at least one of
• 1:10
the two of us is wrong from time to time, right?
• 1:13
That's right. You're always right, Ron.
• 1:15
  Yeah, yeah, sure. Hey.
• 1:18
So it's really interesting though I'm hearing something
• 1:21
different from you and from other contacts I have in the
• 1:25
retail bullion market. About sales, because typically
• 1:30
when the price of silver collapses like it did over the
• 1:33
last few weeks, sales of silver bullion to the retail investment
• 1:38
market collapses as well. But are we, Chris, are we seeing
• 1:42
something different now and what could that mean?
• 1:45
Ron, I cannot make heads and tails because normally you are
• 1:48
absolutely when the price dips, the sales go goodbye, I mean,
• 1:53
but this time. I don't know where this this
• 1:56
week. We had a very, very good week.
• 1:58
We didn't make a lot this week and the fields were there.
• 2:02
But I mean, you know, we had the raising premiums up a little bit
• 2:06
to offset some of the losses. But people are coming in.
• 2:10
I I think the smart money's finally coming in again.
• 2:14
Is this going to continue? Have to wait and see.
• 2:18
Yeah, it's really interesting because it's a known fact that.
• 2:22
You know, after observing the market for decades, most people
• 2:25
will tell you that when the price of silver drops,
• 2:28
unfortunately retail investors, individual investors get spooked
• 2:33
and sell their silver. But we're seeing this complete
• 2:36
different behavior now. I was talking with the guys over
• 2:40
at Tim Becks and they reported to me very robust sales, not
• 2:45
quite at the level that we had back in March and April when we
• 2:48
had that little banking crisis. Here in the United States, but
• 2:53
very strong sales. And it goes along with my theory
• 2:57
that something weird is going on right now in the precious metals
• 3:01
market, not just silver, but gold and platinum also.
• 3:04
It's going to be interesting to see how that plays out, Do you
• 3:08
think, you think people are getting ripped off at the coin
• 3:11
shops because now I'm hearing, you know, this, this whole idea
• 3:14
that premiums are high again, premiums are going up.
• 3:17
What's your thought on that? Well, that one really that
• 3:20
question, you know, I get a lot Ron, and that kind of gets my
• 3:23
goat just a pad is because I I really don't believe coin shops
• 3:28
are out there to rip you off. You know, yes, we did raise
• 3:32
premiums this week twice. We raised it $0.60 on Tuesday, I
• 3:36
believe it was and on Thursday we raised it another $0.30 an
• 3:39
ounce. You know, we're trying to cover
• 3:41
some of the losses. You know, we're we're really
• 3:44
lucky to be making 20 to $0.40 an ounce right, right now.
• 3:49
Where we were making before 2 to $4.00 per per round or a coin,
• 3:56
you know, yeah we did buy some more from the deal to offset
• 4:01
some of these losses we're accumulating.
• 4:05
But that's the way the business goes.
• 4:06
I mean, so if if people really think, Ron, the coin shops are
• 4:10
ripping you off, the price is out of whack.
• 4:13
Just don't buy. I mean if if you're out there, I
• 4:15
was looking for a chainsaw today a post off.
• 4:20
QV C had it for 109, Walmart had it for 111 and Home Depot had it
• 4:26
for 134. So then you ask yourself, okay,
• 4:29
is Home Depot ripping you off now?
• 4:32
This is why you got to shop around if if you don't like your
• 4:35
LCS prices, just don't get it that day.
• 4:40
I mean, do you do you know what I mean that that question comes
• 4:43
up a lot and you know. Are there some coin shops that
• 4:47
you try to take advantage? There's a handful that I can
• 4:50
think of, but I'm not going to name them because that's not
• 4:52
what we're here to do. Ron, you know about most coin
• 4:57
shops will sell at some coin shops will sell loss.
• 5:00
Some coin shops will hold back until the place comes up on some
• 5:03
of their stuff and. It's new coin.
• 5:07
Coin shops are for profit businesses like any so.
• 5:11
But they're also a business and they operate within a
• 5:14
competitive environment. So people that are watching
• 5:18
right now, I mean the biggest thing that you can do to protect
• 5:22
yourself to make sure you're getting the best value is do
• 5:25
comparison shopping. You know and make sure that
• 5:28
you're comparing apples to apples and and then what you can
• 5:33
assure yourself of is that you're getting, you know the
• 5:35
most value for your dollar when you when you go to buy some but
• 5:39
nobody's going to buy silver. I think you know people get
• 5:42
frustrated by seeing the the Comex spot price or the Comex
• 5:47
futures price and think, well, why when it's $21.00 AM I have,
• 5:51
why do I have to pay $25 for instance?
• 5:56
To get A to get a Canadian Maple Leaf and well, the reason why is
• 6:00
that, you know, not only do they have to get that silver out of
• 6:04
the ground and and and refine it, but then it has to be sent
• 6:08
to a mint and turned into a coin.
• 6:10
And from there it goes to a wholesaler and from a wholesaler
• 6:13
typically then it goes to a coin shop, right.
• 6:15
So there's a lot of steps in the process well.
• 6:19
Well, I got to talk to you on one thing.
• 6:20
It's not called the commax no more.
• 6:22
We're going to call it the climax.
• 6:24
You know that is the that is the paper price that we're seeing
• 6:29
paper that mean nothing. If you're worried, you know this
• 6:32
is where a lot of people get frustrated.
• 6:35
They see that paper price and you know there should be two
• 6:39
different markets really Ron, should be the climax market and
• 6:43
the in a physical market because really what the market is, is
• 6:48
what you're willing to pay for that Oz.
• 6:51
I mean, if you're willing to still pay, I say if silver, any
• 6:56
silver right now under $30.00 an ounce, $30.00 or less, it's a
• 7:00
steal it. It really is, yeah.
• 7:03
  I got one. Go ahead.
• 7:06
I got one too today on eBay, a saucy right around 2988, so I
• 7:14
was under my threshold. I was happy to pay it.
• 7:17
Yeah, I looked earlier today. Pin backs had.
• 7:21
Index right there they are Pi, MB, EX are sponsor.
• 7:25
We're going to talk more about them later, but they they had
• 7:28
Canadian Maple Leafs for around $25.00 an ounce.
• 7:33
  I mean that's a competitive price.
• 7:35
I think the other thing for for people to remember is, you know
• 7:40
everybody, everybody hates the Comex and says that's not the
• 7:43
real price of silver until they go to buy physical bullion for
• 7:47
themselves and then they. They want to be able to buy it
• 7:50
at the Comex price. And remember, the Comex,
• 7:53
they're, they're like the Walmart of the precious metals
• 7:56
industry. They they like to roll back
• 7:58
prices, right? And that's absolutely right on.
• 8:03
I mean you know pin backs is, you know I have been very
• 8:06
impressed with their prices and we will cover that in a minute
• 8:10
because I got a deal over the week that's going to blow
• 8:12
people's mind away. If everybody can give us a quick
• 8:15
light shade and subscribe, we appreciate it.
• 8:18
Runs over 28,000 / 28,200 Subs. Now let's let's how fast can we
• 8:24
get him to 29,000? That's what I like to see this
• 8:27
week. First Mining Gold is a
• 8:29
development company advancing 2 of the largest gold projects in
• 8:33
Canada, Spring Pole in Ontario and Du Parquet located in
• 8:38
Quebec. Each already has 5 million
• 8:41
  ounces. Of gold reserves.
• 8:43
But exploration initiatives are underway at both projects to
• 8:47
find even more gold. First, mining is well financed,
• 8:52
has zero debt and owns an interest in four additional
• 8:55
  Canadian Gold development projects.
• 8:58
How can people watching right now potentially get themselves
• 9:03
$211.00 and free silver? Chris, you've got some some
• 9:09
comparisons for us. To show the the great disparity
• 9:14
out there in the market when people are shopping.
• 9:17
Absolutely on you know I did this every week with you.
• 9:20
I picked something for 10 backs and I then I searched for a
• 9:24
prices with the one one key Kilo Sushi bar which is 32.15 oz.
• 9:32
So I searched them. I searched a bunch of other
• 9:35
ones, but Jr. going this was on eBay. $975 long Aiden on eBay
• 9:45
was 8/29/05 money. Metals on their website was
• 9:50
8/27/56. JM Bullen was 85454 at Max was
• 9:59
81547. Provident Metals was 79823 SD
• 10:09
Bullen. On their website was 8 excuse me
• 10:12
78308 bowling exchange on eBay was 77194.
• 10:20
I also checked Hero Bowling Silver Golden bowl they were
• 10:25
both out but Hero bowling had the last price of 841 him Max
• 10:31
came in at 76360. So if U -975 my.
• 10:40
  If you take 975 or -7, six 360, that's a $211.40 savings
• 10:47
drawing. For the exact same bar, you said
• 10:49
it was a 1K bar, 1K bar, Swiss. What was it Swiss, the cement.
• 10:56
OK. So like we just talked about
• 11:00
like like we just talked about with everybody when you're
• 11:03
buying metals and if you're complaining about the high
• 11:06
premiums. Well then the best thing you can
• 11:09
do to protect yourself because there's going to be premiums no
• 11:12
matter where you go is do comparison shopping.
• 11:15
And what you just demonstrated for everyone is it on a 1K bar,
• 11:19
if you compare that amongst 10 different sources for the same
• 11:23
  exact bar, there's a $211.00 difference.
• 11:28
And you know, hey look, you know, some people say, well you
• 11:31
know, I'm, I'm money, it's not that big of a deal.
• 11:34
Well, that's, that's eight ounce, that's eight of those.
• 11:38
Canadian Maple Leafs that you could buy.
• 11:40
You could buy the kilo bar from Pembex or whoever the lowest
• 11:44
prices, but in this case it is pembex by the kilo bar and order
• 11:49
order yourself 7 or 8 Canadian Maple Leafs for the same price
• 11:54
that you could have bought just 1K bar from the highest priced
• 11:58
  offering. Is that?
• 11:59
Is that safe to say? That's safe to say and everybody
• 12:02
wants to check my numbers still. I mean, they've been a few
• 12:06
comments that they've not been too clear and this website's
• 12:09
cheaper while give us the price. When did you, when did you check
• 12:13
those numbers, Chris? This was done on October 6th of
• 12:18
2023 at 5:20 PM on and we are recording this on the day after,
• 12:24
right So. These are these are real.
• 12:27
Now this is the day after 211. I'm trying to think how many we
• 12:32
figured the other day. That Ding Dong sell for about
• 12:37
$0.35. Each of my math is correct.
• 12:40
That's you could also buy yourself 700 Ding Dongs with
• 12:44
with that savings, right, Chris? You know, absolutely.
• 12:48
But I'm not gonna buy that many on dime.
• 12:49
Ron. Maybe you maybe you would now,
• 12:52
but no. I mean, you know, This is why I
• 12:55
do this every single week. It's not like I'm getting
• 12:57
involved with him backs talking, the guys that pin backs say,
• 13:00
hey, give me the cheapest price that you have and put it up with
• 13:03
  it. No, this is.
• 13:04
Me going on every Friday night staring for one thing and week
• 13:09
after week pinbacks it comes in the cheapest price every single
• 13:14
week. So shout out to pinbacks and you
• 13:17
know if if people really you know appreciate my work.
• 13:21
I do have a donation link in the description of the video because
• 13:25
you know, this is what I do for everybody is try to help you
• 13:28
guys find the best price. I'm I'm waiting for you to tell
• 13:32
people. Save, save that 200 bucks and
• 13:35
just send it to me. My donation links in the
• 13:37
description of the video Right Chris?
• 13:39
Well, they but they don't have to send that much.
• 13:41
If they want to send $1.40 you know and then keep the twin
• 13:44
dollars eleven, keep $210.00 from the cell phone to go buy
• 13:48
more server, go right ahead. Right, Right now Chris does this
• 13:53
every week. He's not reimbursed or paid or
• 13:58
or or anything does this out of the kindness of his heart.
• 14:01
So he's giving you purely objective information.
• 14:05
And and I agree with what you said too.
• 14:07
If if somebody can find a better deal, you know, tell us about it
• 14:12
in the comments section because it's interesting.
• 14:14
That's how I found out about Penn Becks myself.
• 14:17
I was a customer of Penn Becks. Before they became a sponsor of
• 14:22
this channel and I've learned about them from the community
• 14:26
from the fellow basement dwellers in the in the comments
• 14:28
section people said check out PIM backs check Is they people
• 14:31
that know me. You can just take one quick look
• 14:34
around my basement. I'm very value oriented right?
• 14:38
And I like to. I like to buy things, like to
• 14:40
eat the most for my money. And and people said you got to
• 14:44
check out pin backs and I did and I was happy and I continue
• 14:47
to be happy and and I'm continue to be continue to be grateful
• 14:51
that they're a sponsor as well. Let's talk about Weber
• 14:55
seasonings briefly my favorite seasonings, the gold standard of
• 14:59
the seasoning world. Chris, we're going to have to
• 15:00
send some of these down there to you so you can, you know, try
• 15:03
them out when you make your world famous hamburgers as well.
• 15:07
I just want to ask and when, when does that happen, Ron?
• 15:14
You know, I'm quick to send things, Chris, you know.
• 15:16
That, but no going going back to pinbacks run, I, you know I've
• 15:22
been working for this coin shop probably about five years now
• 15:26
and I'm not I did not know about pinbacks and you actually
• 15:30
mentioned to to me. I've brought so many wonderful
• 15:33
things into your life, Chris, haven't I?
• 15:35
You you know, I, you know I gotta give that sponsorship the
• 15:38
more credit you know they they really do the best placing so we
• 15:43
will move on. Yeah, well, let me, let me, let
• 15:46
me let me. Let me say this really quickly
• 15:48
as well. I've received a lot of emails.
• 15:51
I even got one this morning from from a member of our basement
• 15:56
dweller community telling me about their experience with
• 16:00
Pimbex and. And and everybody, I'm, I'm,
• 16:04
everybody has been very happy, right?
• 16:06
Sure. There's bumps in the road.
• 16:07
I mean they're they're dealing with a lot of our community base
• 16:11
now. There's been bumps in the road.
• 16:14
That happens, right. The important thing is.
• 16:16
Are things resolved or they work through and there's very few
• 16:19
bumps in the road, but but everybody is giving me really
• 16:24
positive feedback not only about the prices but about the
• 16:28
  customer customer service as well.
• 16:30
And enough, enough, enough talking about our sponsor and
• 16:33
they're a great sponsor and we were grateful for them.
• 16:35
But Chris is going to give us what everybody's been waiting
• 16:39
for, the number, the 30 day numbers.
• 16:42
Chris, go ahead. The past 30 days Ron Silver was
• 16:47
down $1.74 or down 7.42%. Gold was down $97.50 or down
• 16:57
5.01%. Platinum was down $30.60 or down
• 17:05
3.34%. Our friend Bitcoin was actually
• 17:09
had a good past 30 days. Lawn Bitcoin was up $2192.61 or
• 17:17
up 8.51% and oil went down a little bit, down $4.73 a barrel
• 17:26
or down 5.40% over the last past 30 days.
• 17:34
So I mean as remember last week Ron Silver was down close to
• 17:38
10%. We were just under the 10%
• 17:40
thrust or so. We did all right over this past
• 17:43
week at the average in for the 30 days.
• 17:46
So hopefully continue next week. I think this is the last week
• 17:50
we're going to do the 30 day numbers until.
• 17:53
Until you can report some positive information on Silver
• 17:56
in particular, we're just going to have to knock this out all
• 17:59
together, Chris. Well, I think it's fair to do it
• 18:02
every single week just because you know we actually gain we
• 18:06
from last week if people watch my we were down 9.99%.
• 18:10
So we came back a little bit. Yeah, you're the bearer of good
• 18:14
news, you know, like we talked about at the beginning.
• 18:18
There's just a lot of weirdness in the precious metals markets
• 18:22
right now. I'm hearing that from a lot of
• 18:24
different people. This fact that we've got robust
• 18:27
sales occurring on a big price drop.
• 18:30
And if there was no big official crisis that occurred that would
• 18:35
have prompted people to buy right?
• 18:37
There was no new big fear situation.
• 18:40
It was just a rug pole price drop in the price of silver and
• 18:44
gold for that matter as well, but the resulting.
• 18:49
Reaction from the individual investor community is leaving
• 18:53
many people baffled and I think could be a sign of things to
• 18:59
come as we head into what could be some a period where we do
• 19:03
start to see some crisis that when we do hit those those rough
• 19:08
patches and some really bad things do potentially happen.
• 19:13
The the available supplies of precious metals are going to be
• 19:17
even more constricted. But we know one thing for sure.
• 19:21
We'll be back to to cover it all with you coin shop Chris and and
• 19:25
me Ron from Ron's basement. Chris, is there anything you you
• 19:28
want to say before we bid everyone farewell?
• 19:32
I just want to congratulate everybody who got on this lower
• 19:35
price. Just keep on stacking and you
• 19:38
know the price will come back. I do truly believe that and I'm
• 19:42
not just saying that because I work in the coin shop, you know
• 19:46
or pin backs as a sponsor. I really do believe we're going
• 19:49
to see higher prices soon. When I I I can't tell you when,
• 19:53
but congratulations on everybody again who has stacks of more
• 19:57
  this past week. Yeah, yeah.
• 20:01
Thank you, Chris. And we'll look forward to
• 20:04
talking again with you next week, my friend.
• 20:06
We will see you next week, my friend.
• 20:09
And we'll talk next week and I don't know else what we're doing
• 20:12
next week we would do something else.
• 20:14
You're gonna, you're gonna have some good numbers for us next
• 20:17
  week. I have a feeling.
• 20:19
Hopefully, hopefully I'll have some better numbers.
• 20:21
  Yes. Yeah.
• 20:22
You got any jokes or anything you want to share with
• 20:24
everybody? I'm fresh out of jokes this week
• 20:27
