- 1:54Speaker 1: sucks anything right out of the throat.
- 1:55Speaker 2: That's fantastic.
- 1:56Speaker 1: It's it's the number one choking rescue device, the only

- 4:05Speaker 2: We'll allow a guy in if you want to come.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I kind of want to be a third wheel on this.
- 4:11Speaker 2: We're basically going to discuss our love of cats and
- 4:14Speaker 2: all things pretty.
- 4:15Speaker 3: So what time are you going to be there at
- 4:17Speaker 3: this point? Just give it out here?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Yeah, come join us at three o'clock. Seriously, we had
- 4:22Speaker 2: to make reservations. This is a big deal, so I
- 4:25Speaker 2: just don't know. And do I need to dress up? Okay?
- 4:28Speaker 3: Yeah, that's my great quascinator, Like.
- 4:30Speaker 2: What do I need to do? Because she said it

- 4:39Speaker 3: All right, well have we okay? All right, let's talk
- 4:41Speaker 3: more beverages. You ready?
- 4:42Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 4:43Speaker 3: I need to tell you two things and Christine's two
- 4:48Speaker 3: pretty cool things.
- 4:50Speaker 1: You're Starting August seventh, Duncan is bringing back its iced
- 4:53Speaker 1: beverage buckets to participating locations nationwide for a limited time
- 4:57Speaker 1: while supplies last. The forty eight hour vessels can be
- 5:01Speaker 1: purchased for twelve ninety nine, which includes the cost of
- 5:04Speaker 1: the beverage it contains. Yes, Duncans suggests filling your bucket
- 5:09Speaker 1: with one of its three new beverages, the Cherry Lime
- 5:12Speaker 1: Ricky Refresher, the Pink Pineapples Sparkling Refresher, or iced Coffee
- 5:16Speaker 1: with Peanut Butter Swirl. But you can fill up with
- 5:19Speaker 1: any of Duncan's iced coffee or refresher drinks.
- 5:22Speaker 3: So get all over that, will you.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I think I need it right now.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Yeah, And after you drink a lot of that.
- 5:29Speaker 2: I'll be up. I'll see you Monday. I'll be up
- 5:31Speaker 2: all weekends.
- 5:31Speaker 3: You gotta make it a cather. Gosh, what's your cool thing?
- 5:36Speaker 2: I think this is great news. Researchers have a new
- 5:38Speaker 2: way to treat cavities that avoids drilling at the dentist office,
- 5:44Speaker 2: and they've been working with kids on baby teeth with
- 5:47Speaker 2: this and it's helping them. They've discovered a liquid that's
- 5:50Speaker 2: brushed onto cavities. It's stopped tooth decay in more than
- 5:54Speaker 2: half cases on baby teeth.
- 5:56Speaker 3: That's amazing.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yes, So right now we're using it in other countries.
- 6:01Speaker 2: We're testing it here just to make sure we're happy
- 6:04Speaker 2: with it and it's safe and sound. But this could
- 6:07Speaker 2: really really help kids tooth to K impacts more than
- 6:10Speaker 2: forty percent of us children. Maybe they won't be as
- 6:12Speaker 2: fearful of the dentists and they don't have to deal
- 6:14Speaker 2: with the drill. R be wonderful.
- 6:15Speaker 3: And they're testing it on the baby teeth there they're
- 6:17Speaker 3: gonna fall out anyway.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Yeah, we can use these light more Covey and Christine
- 6:22Speaker 4: and the great music variety you expect next on Light
- 6:25Speaker 4: at Them.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I was trying to find a good intro song for
- 6:28Speaker 1: our next segment, and I thought about maybe playing a
- 6:30Speaker 1: bit of phar Real and Happy.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Or maybe happy days the theme okay, but I couldn't
- 6:36Speaker 3: think of anything else.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I said, you know what, let'slet's just talk about it.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Just talk about it, just.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Talk about it.
- 6:40Speaker 1: The happiest cities, destination or destinations in the world, in
- 6:45Speaker 1: the world.
- 6:46Speaker 2: I love this because this is from an Irish travel
- 6:49Speaker 2: insurance provider called just Cover. They asked people to name
- 6:52Speaker 2: their happy place, so we're talking about the entire world.
- 6:56Speaker 2: They've analyzed over one million online reviews for tourist destinations.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Do you know what came up number one in the
- 7:04Speaker 2: world in.
- 7:04Speaker 3: The world happiest destination.
- 7:06Speaker 2: You're never gonna it's just Hawaii. No, you would think
- 7:10Speaker 2: Hawaii would be on the list. It's not even on
- 7:12Speaker 2: the list. To loom Mexico, to loom Mexico.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Yes, do they give a reason why?
- 7:17Speaker 2: Or yes? Because they said it's got beautiful white sand beaches.
- 7:22Speaker 2: It earns a perfect one hundred score for happy place.
- 7:26Speaker 2: You've got Mayan Ruins, amazing food and wellness offerings. Right,
- 7:30Speaker 2: and then right after that.
- 7:34Speaker 3: I'm playing don't worry, be happy as you're talking.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Saint Lucia, okay us Oh, I can never say it right,
- 7:40Speaker 2: Oxaca Mexico.
- 7:43Speaker 3: Oh, better than you're doing this list. I would do this.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Oh a X A C A O A X Yeah,
- 7:55Speaker 2: ox Mexico.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Unhappiest to pronounce. Yes, happy, but you're gonna.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Be happy when you get there.
- 8:02Speaker 3: It'll be Oh.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Here's okay. Las Vegas, Nevada comes in number four. Here
- 8:07Speaker 2: it is Maui, Hawaii.
- 8:09Speaker 3: We got Hawaii, yes, okay.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Eric and I went there. I loved it so much
- 8:12Speaker 2: I wanted to go back ever since I get it.
- 8:14Speaker 2: And then at number six, we're in the heart of it, baby,
- 8:17Speaker 2: New York, New York.
- 8:19Speaker 3: You know we have it all.
- 8:20Speaker 2: We're in the happiest place in the whole world. Yeah, Turkey,
- 8:25Speaker 2: we have Rio in Brazil. Chicago, Illinois comes in at
- 8:28Speaker 2: number nine. Toronto, Canada, Ten eleven Maldives.
- 8:33Speaker 3: That Wasnmoon.
- 8:34Speaker 2: It was your honeymoon. Twelve is Austin, Texas. I've always
- 8:37Speaker 2: wanted to go.
- 8:37Speaker 3: I haven't been great town. I mean it's like a
- 8:40Speaker 3: Nashville kind of Yeah.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Eric loves it. Yeah. Number thirteen New Orleans.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Your favorite town, happy place. In fact, you're wearing a
- 8:46Speaker 3: New Orleans sweatshoet.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I am yep because I miss it. Number fourteen Bora, Bora.
- 8:51Speaker 2: And at number five, Positano, Italy. Yeah, number fifteen, sorry, Positano, Italy.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Happy destination. There you go.
- 8:57Speaker 2: So I haven't planned a vacation yet.
- 8:59Speaker 3: So you have a list right now.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Choose one of these.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Go crazy more Covey and Christine and the great music
- 9:05Speaker 4: variety you expect next on Light at.

- 9:11Speaker 3: I mean tomorrow. You know what that means. Yeah, Halloween
- 9:17Speaker 3: is here.
- 9:18Speaker 2: It's Halloween season. Let it begin.
- 9:20Speaker 3: It doesn't start in October anymore. Oh, no, August first, it.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Starts where's my pumpkin spice coffee?
- 9:26Speaker 3: Well, big shot out to Spirit Halloween.
- 9:28Speaker 1: They started this whole thing, right, Yeah, I mean we're
- 9:31Speaker 1: getting earlier and earlier, and now people are like banging
- 9:34Speaker 1: down the door, yes, to get into.
- 9:36Speaker 3: A certain Spirit Halloween here in New Jersey.
- 9:38Speaker 2: That's right. The Spirit Halloween Store in Egg Harbor Township
- 9:41Speaker 2: opens tomorrow.
- 9:43Speaker 1: And our very own producer, Christian her Hobby Ryan has tickets, yes,
- 9:49Speaker 1: and him and his son Jagger are going to the
- 9:51Speaker 1: opening tomorrow. You have to get tickets to go to
- 9:53Speaker 1: this thing.
- 9:53Speaker 2: You have to register because there is there are going
- 9:57Speaker 2: to be like some tickets available for general. But it's
- 10:00Speaker 2: gonna be tough, cubby. And because they've been dealing with
- 10:03Speaker 2: this for years, the Spirit Store said no camping out,
- 10:06Speaker 2: no sleeping in your car in the parking lot. Like,
- 10:08Speaker 2: I don't even think they're going to open the parking lot.
- 10:10Speaker 3: It's just gotten that big. It's gotten that and it
- 10:13Speaker 3: caused a.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Problem, yes, because Kristin was telling us that it's like
- 10:16Speaker 2: a party. You've got a DJ in the parking lot,
- 10:19Speaker 2: there's swag bags, there's new Animatronics YEP, which she said
- 10:23Speaker 2: can sell out really really fast. So and a lot
- 10:25Speaker 2: of influencers love.
- 10:26Speaker 1: To go because me and my family we go to
- 10:28Speaker 1: Spirit Halloween not only to buy you know, stuff like costumes,
- 10:31Speaker 1: but sometimes you don't go in there to buy anything.
- 10:33Speaker 3: You go in there for entertainment.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I think it's fun for the kids. Yes, it's just fun.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Now.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Kristin by the way, poor Bowie, she's not quite into
- 10:40Speaker 1: Spirit Halloween court.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, but Ryan and Jagger and Kristin are.
- 10:44Speaker 2: There, definitely, yes, So Ryan and Jagger are going. They're registered.
- 10:48Speaker 2: They can get there at seven a m. For the
- 10:51Speaker 2: general like if there's any room left right eight am,
- 10:54Speaker 2: and the store officially opens at ten am. But again
- 10:56Speaker 2: they don't want to camp out overnight because people have
- 10:59Speaker 2: done that.
- 10:59Speaker 1: And this is the flag ship location right course, so
- 11:02Speaker 1: that's near Atlantic City.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Kind of a hike. But if you're really into this thing,
- 11:06Speaker 3: oh there you go.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Worth it for fans And also just a heads up
- 11:10Speaker 2: if you're traveling through Dunnellen. There's been a police officer
- 11:15Speaker 2: who set a speed trap by dressing as a shrub.
- 11:22Speaker 2: He just looks like a bush on the side of
- 11:24Speaker 2: the roadway.
- 11:25Speaker 3: How does he how does he catch cars that are
- 11:27Speaker 3: doing things wrong?
- 11:29Speaker 2: He is on the lookout for people who are on
- 11:31Speaker 2: their cell phones, and within a six hour stretch he
- 11:34Speaker 2: nabbed seventy four drivers. That's how many people are like handheld.
- 11:39Speaker 2: So oh no, no, no, he I'm sorry, Cuby. He
- 11:41Speaker 2: radios to like, oh, a fellow police officer like, catch
- 11:45Speaker 2: this guy, right, you know, pull that car over.
- 11:47Speaker 3: He's a shrub.
- 11:48Speaker 2: But he's a shrub. So if you see a shrub
- 11:51Speaker 2: with binoculars inanellen, don't trust it. Yeah, it's not just
- 11:57Speaker 2: like a shrub that's checking out the trees or something
- 11:59Speaker 2: like that.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Very creative idea.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's what's working day.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Off your phone, even at a stoplight. Don't look at
- 12:04Speaker 3: your phone. Just behave be careful, all right, you have
- 12:08Speaker 3: the news coming up, my dear.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Let's check out the headlines and men in their underwear.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Some habits are changing more.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Covey and Christine and the great music variety you expect
- 12:18Speaker 4: next on light at.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Them six fifty eight, Friday morning, and Christine has everything
- 12:22Speaker 1: you need to know.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Good morning Christine, and.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Good morning Covey. Funeral services this morning for staff Sergeant
- 12:27Speaker 2: Angel Rampersad in Queen's Rampersad, one of four service members
- 12:31Speaker 2: who died in the US around conflict. Governor Hochel has
- 12:34Speaker 2: ordered flags to be at half staff today in her memory,
- 12:38Speaker 2: and a seventh person has died now from Legionnaire's disease
- 12:41Speaker 2: and the outbreak on the Upper east Side. There's also
- 12:44Speaker 2: new concerns of legionella in the water in an apartment
- 12:47Speaker 2: complex on the Lower east Side. President Trump meeting with
- 12:51Speaker 2: his cabinet at Camp David today. Fighting, of course between
- 12:54Speaker 2: the US and Iran continuing, and that's going to be
- 12:58Speaker 2: a major topic for them. Elon Musk is reportedly preparing
- 13:01Speaker 2: to spend at least one hundred million dollars to support
- 13:04Speaker 2: Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections. The FDA investigating a
- 13:10Speaker 2: separate cyclosporiasis outbreak and it's not linked to let US
- 13:15Speaker 2: and there's been almost one hundred cases of the separate outbreak,
- 13:18Speaker 2: so we don't know where it's coming from exactly.
- 13:21Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 13:21Speaker 2: We don't like the sound of that at all. In sports,
- 13:24Speaker 2: Yankees lost to the White Sox two one, Mets beat
- 13:27Speaker 2: the Marlins four to two, and Covey here, this is
- 13:30Speaker 2: for you. So men are taking back their agency as
- 13:35Speaker 2: far as their underwear is concerned. We're finding studies that
- 13:39Speaker 2: show that sixty seven percent of men now buy their
- 13:42Speaker 2: own underwear, and it used to be eighty percent of
- 13:45Speaker 2: men's underwear was purchased by women.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Oh, it flipped a little bit high.
- 13:48Speaker 2: It took your power back.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Oh no, my wife is still buying my underwear. In fact,
- 13:52Speaker 1: we did a whole underwear audit the other day. Oh,
- 13:54Speaker 1: you did a couple of days ago. I took all
- 13:56Speaker 1: this underwear out of a drawer. Yes, and I wanted
- 13:58Speaker 1: to fold them properly because they weren't really folded very well.
- 14:00Speaker 1: And as I was folding, I saw several pair that
- 14:03Speaker 1: were just all beat up.
- 14:04Speaker 2: It was time to go.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Coco said, it's time to go. Yes, she got me
- 14:07Speaker 3: some new ones.
- 14:07Speaker 2: And why are we always the purveyors of that. I
- 14:10Speaker 2: have to do the same thing at my house once.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Really underwear, like you know, these have to go.
- 14:15Speaker 2: And I know they're always the most comfy ones. And
- 14:17Speaker 2: there's a full story, but we have to move on.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I'm like Tom Cruise and Risky Business. All right, coming up?
- 14:24Speaker 1: We have three hours commercial free that kicks off at
- 14:26Speaker 1: eight twenty. It's one of six point seven Light FM.
- 14:28Speaker 4: More Covey and Christine and the great music variety you
- 14:31Speaker 4: expect next on light at them as.
- 14:34Speaker 1: We wrap up July and kick off August tomorrow. And
- 14:38Speaker 1: how many weekends left in the summer? I'm hearing conflicting reports.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Okay, so I officially have the count. It says eight
- 14:45Speaker 2: weekends left in the summer. Maybe technically right, oh, like
- 14:49Speaker 2: through September. You're thinking of like Labor Day and when
- 14:52Speaker 2: we correct get away.
- 14:53Speaker 3: I thought there was six. Yeah, because to.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Me, weekends of where it feels like it's we're in
- 14:58Speaker 2: summer mode.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Including this weekend.
- 15:00Speaker 1: There are six weekends left until the Labor Day, right,
- 15:03Speaker 1: But you're right, then there's two more after that, then
- 15:05Speaker 1: it's fall.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Then it's fall.
- 15:06Speaker 1: But can we just say six weeks left of summer
- 15:09Speaker 1: because it kind of feels that weekends really.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Just feel that way. I'm like in a little bit
- 15:13Speaker 2: of a panic mode because I don't feel like I've
- 15:15Speaker 2: done summer at all this year. We don't even have
- 15:17Speaker 2: a big vacation plan, so well, some whining, like crazy,
- 15:22Speaker 2: could you pull something out?
- 15:23Speaker 3: Like I don't could you manage to I.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Don't think so. I think I think we're gonna probably
- 15:29Speaker 2: have to try for fall. But it's okay.
- 15:31Speaker 3: I will say.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Some people are happy, yeah that summer is coming to
- 15:34Speaker 1: an end, because you were telling me it's kind of pricing.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Well, you know, it's an average of four hundred dollars
- 15:40Speaker 2: a weekend us the summer. Yes, you know, and it's good.
- 15:46Speaker 2: It's for summer activities. It's probably like going to the
- 15:49Speaker 2: beach or going to a party. There's movie nights. We
- 15:52Speaker 2: tend to go out to eat more because we're socializing more.
- 15:55Speaker 2: And there's road trips.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Yeah, gas prices there's.
- 15:59Speaker 2: That so and snacks in the car. So yeah, you
- 16:03Speaker 2: would be saving money because it looks like we're spending
- 16:05Speaker 2: an average of four hundred dollars every summer weekend.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Well, give us a text if your happy. Summer's coming
- 16:11Speaker 1: to an end pretty soon.
- 16:14Speaker 3: You think anybody's happy that it's coming to it?
- 16:16Speaker 2: No, not exactly. I mean, you know, I'm not crazy
- 16:19Speaker 2: about like this extreme heat or anything like that. But
- 16:21Speaker 2: like I said, I am bummed because I haven't we
- 16:24Speaker 2: haven't gone to the beach, we haven't gone to like
- 16:26Speaker 2: a barbecue, we haven't. We haven't done any summer stuff.
- 16:29Speaker 1: If you're having a barbecue and you have room for
- 16:31Speaker 1: Christine Nagy and Eric and Archie, bring the cat okay
- 16:36Speaker 1: and give us a text at four fourth Reix.
- 16:38Speaker 2: If you're going to the beach or a car trip
- 16:40Speaker 2: and you've got room in the car for Christine and
- 16:43Speaker 2: Eric and his drum set and Archie, give us a text.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Could you imagine if somebody actually texted and then you
- 16:49Speaker 1: guys did it.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Get in the car.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Oh that they're gonna drum set on the roof of
- 16:53Speaker 3: the car.

- 17:30Speaker 1: last two months because of shark sightings.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Yes, and now they're like patrolling the beach with drones.

- 19:25Speaker 4: More Covey and Christine in the Great Music Variety You
- 19:28Speaker 4: expect Next on light.
- 19:30Speaker 2: FM went a six point seven Light FM. Good morning,
- 19:32Speaker 2: It's Covey, Christine, producer Kristen and yeah, Kebby. This story
- 19:37Speaker 2: is interesting to me. There is an apartment in LA
- 19:39Speaker 2: and you know it's as expensive to live in La
- 19:41Speaker 2: as it is here. It's an ideal apartment. It's supposedly
- 19:45Speaker 2: beautiful in a great neighborhood. Twenty four hundred dollars a month.
- 19:50Speaker 2: You get hardwood flooring, shared laundry, a good sized kitchen
- 19:54Speaker 2: with art deco tiles, a full fridge. But there is
- 19:58Speaker 2: one thing you are not allowed to have if you
- 20:00Speaker 2: rent this apartment. What a stove?
- 20:04Speaker 3: You're kidding? No, do they give a reason. They just
- 20:07Speaker 3: say no stove.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Landlord does not want it. He is protecting his art
- 20:12Speaker 2: deco tyle. I don't know what's going on there.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Is he a foot of a fire or something, because
- 20:16Speaker 1: I know how Hoa has a thing with no grills
- 20:18Speaker 1: on your balcony and all that.
- 20:19Speaker 2: I know, I live that, and you live that.
- 20:20Speaker 3: I know.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know there's people are debating because it's
- 20:24Speaker 2: not like he said no dishwasher or you know, no
- 20:27Speaker 2: laundry in the apartment. Like, okay, those are workarounds.
- 20:30Speaker 3: This is kind of an essential, but no stove.
- 20:32Speaker 1: See I back in my single day as Christine, I
- 20:35Speaker 1: probably could have survived without a stove or an oven. Absolutely.
- 20:39Speaker 1: I think I could because I when I was a
- 20:41Speaker 1: bachelor man, I ate out all the time.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I worked on a different side of the radio business
- 20:47Speaker 1: where I was taken out a lot. If I was
- 20:51Speaker 1: in a pinch, I knew I could, you know, pick
- 20:54Speaker 1: up the phone and order it. Okay, okay, I really
- 20:57Speaker 1: think I could survive with that, I stove.
- 20:59Speaker 2: I guess he's looking for somebody like you, because I
- 21:03Speaker 2: I don't see how I could do I just honestly
- 21:06Speaker 2: don't see how I could do it.
- 21:07Speaker 3: In fact, I have a friend of mine that came
- 21:09Speaker 3: to visit me.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I lived in Hoboken for a while, and that's when
- 21:12Speaker 1: I really pretty much ate out all the time.
- 21:14Speaker 2: And that was your full on bachelor day, full on bachelor. Yeah.
- 21:17Speaker 1: And I would walk to places and eat, you know,
- 21:18Speaker 1: it was like living in the city and Hoboken. And
- 21:20Speaker 1: I had a friend of mine that liked to cook,
- 21:22Speaker 1: and he wanted to check out my oven. And he
- 21:24Speaker 1: opened up the oven and he went, what And I
- 21:27Speaker 1: had the price tag still in the oven from when
- 21:31Speaker 1: I bought it, like the sale oh, gil said, like
- 21:33Speaker 1: PC Richard inside had the price inside hanging dangling inside, and.
- 21:39Speaker 2: He was going to cook a meal for it, like
- 21:41Speaker 2: he said. I was like, we're not now, I never
- 21:45Speaker 2: got it. You know, are all out our former boss.
- 21:48Speaker 2: We love him. Chris his bachelor days, he didn't have
- 21:51Speaker 2: any food in his apartment, zero food. There was common
- 21:56Speaker 2: a bottle of water in his fridge. And we know
- 21:59Speaker 2: about this because we you know, we hung out together
- 22:02Speaker 2: with our friends and there was just there was no food.
- 22:05Speaker 2: And I said, well, what do you do like for
- 22:07Speaker 2: breakfast while I go out? I'm in the city, so I.
- 22:09Speaker 3: That was my same thinking.
- 22:11Speaker 2: But you got like, I'm like, you don't even have
- 22:12Speaker 2: like coffee and half and half, Like you don't wake
- 22:15Speaker 2: up in the morning and at least want to make
- 22:17Speaker 2: coffee and some toast or something like a model apartment
- 22:20Speaker 2: like the yes, oh oh it was spotless because he
- 22:23Speaker 2: had that and he had a cleaning person right and
- 22:26Speaker 2: there was nothing to clean.
- 22:28Speaker 1: But yeah, it's a great question, though, would you take
- 22:30Speaker 1: that apartment in La No stove, but they have laundry
- 22:34Speaker 1: and everything else.
- 22:35Speaker 2: They have shared laundry. It's supposedly a beautiful apartment, beautiful place,
- 22:38Speaker 2: you've got everything. You are not allowed to have a stove.
- 22:41Speaker 2: You can't cook for yourself in your apartment.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Could you live without a stove? Give us a text
- 22:45Speaker 1: at four four three six three.
- 22:47Speaker 3: I couldn't. I couldn't imagine having a family without a stove.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Obviously, Yeah my thinking has changed since my Hoboken days,
- 22:54Speaker 1: But yeah I think I could if I was, you know,
- 22:56Speaker 1: a long time.
- 22:57Speaker 4: No more Covey and Christine and the Great here's a
- 23:00Speaker 4: variety you expect. Next on lightm back.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Three Boys for producer Kristen one of six point seven
- 23:06Speaker 1: NFM cutying Christine in the Morning and Happy Friday. So
- 23:09Speaker 1: we're reading the story Christine about what qualifies as a
- 23:14Speaker 1: real junk drawer. Yes, we all have that one junk
- 23:17Speaker 1: drawer in mainly usually the kitchen.
- 23:19Speaker 2: It's the kitchen.
- 23:20Speaker 1: But what is the one absolutely mandatory item that makes
- 23:24Speaker 1: it officially a junk drawer? Wow, and here's what people
- 23:28Speaker 1: are saying on the internet, Christine rubber bands. Definitely a
- 23:33Speaker 1: key that has not been successfully matched to any known
- 23:37Speaker 1: part of the property.
- 23:37Speaker 2: We have no idea what it's for.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Yes, any item that causes the drawer to jam, but
- 23:43Speaker 1: you keep it in there anyway.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Junk drawers are always jammed, notoriously jammed.
- 23:48Speaker 3: And it's usually you know the cause of it, but
- 23:50Speaker 3: you don't do anything about.
- 23:51Speaker 2: It's usually the scissors that we need.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Okay, you have a pad of sticky notes in your
- 23:56Speaker 1: junk drawer.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Check an old tube of super glue. Oh yeah, dried
- 24:01Speaker 3: out birthday candles.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Oh yes, bonus points if they're already partially burned.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I've been learning. I'm trying to give them up.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Yes, other things in the kitchen junk drawer.
- 24:12Speaker 1: The odd thing that came off of something that's probably important.
- 24:17Speaker 3: But you have no clue what it could be.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Yeah, a half dozen pins but only one will write.
- 24:24Speaker 1: And finally, multiple Alan wrenches from stuff you had to
- 24:28Speaker 1: assemble and you held.
- 24:29Speaker 3: On to the Ally wrench. Yeah.
- 24:30Speaker 1: We have a ton of screwdrivers. We have a ton
- 24:33Speaker 1: of batteries. How about you? Can you think of anything
- 24:35Speaker 1: not on this list?
- 24:36Speaker 2: There's scotch tape in there?
- 24:38Speaker 3: Uh huh? Zip lock bags there, No.
- 24:41Speaker 2: That's another drawer. They have their own drawer. There's like covers,
- 24:46Speaker 2: you know, for for cat food. Like mismatched stuff is
- 24:51Speaker 2: in there, and.
- 24:52Speaker 3: It will be like a random marble like when did
- 24:54Speaker 3: I play marbles?
- 24:55Speaker 2: Yeah, crazy stuff or change got dropped in there like that.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Come on, that doesn't make any sense. There's so many
- 25:01Speaker 2: things there's paper clips in there. You are our pool passes.
- 25:05Speaker 2: That's another thing, like we'll need to reach for those
- 25:07Speaker 2: and boom boom, it's jammed.
- 25:10Speaker 1: I bet you you have old pool passes from your hoa,
- 25:13Speaker 1: like from like twenty twenty two or something.
- 25:14Speaker 2: We did we have, We had some vintage ones. I
- 25:17Speaker 2: did get rid of them this summer. But it is,
- 25:19Speaker 2: it's all I think. We always need the scissors cubby
- 25:21Speaker 2: and there's only like one good pair of scissors, and
- 25:24Speaker 2: that's the one that's always missing.
- 25:26Speaker 3: And you never can't find it.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Yeah, and we're always like trying to jam get it open,
- 25:29Speaker 2: and then it's like, oh, they're not in here. Where
- 25:31Speaker 2: did we put them? We have the little cloths to
- 25:34Speaker 2: clean your glasses.
- 25:35Speaker 3: We have the oh oh I forgot about the lighters. Yes, oh, yes,
- 25:39Speaker 3: we have a few lighters because I have to fire
- 25:41Speaker 3: up the grill sometimes in the candles and then right
- 25:44Speaker 3: and it goes by the candles exactly. Yeah.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, so many did I say scotch tape?
- 25:48Speaker 2: Scotch tape gets jammed in there? Maybe some stamps.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Can you add to the list, folks four four, three
- 25:53Speaker 1: six three Can you type in what is in your
- 25:55Speaker 1: junk drawer? What makes a junk drawer a pure official
- 26:00Speaker 1: junk drawer? Four four three six three want to hear
- 26:02Speaker 1: from you, Hey, we have we found some tickets in
