Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Live from the WOR LifeVac studios, Mark Simone.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Well, all these public polls, you see, they're just terrible.
- 0:08Speaker 2: They're just rigged, rotten. Forget all these public polls. Now,
- 0:13Speaker 2: the real polls, that's what the candidates actually use. The
- 0:15Speaker 2: real polls, far more expensive, much more scientific behind the scenes.
- 0:19Speaker 2: The best pollster in the world is John McLaughlin. He's
- 0:23Speaker 2: got a website, McLaughlinOnline.com. McLaughlinOnline.com. But he's with us now.
- 0:29Speaker 2: John McLaughlin, how you doing?
- 0:32Speaker 1: I'm doing well. I'm busy times, 43 days till Election Day.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Wow. So, hey, these public polls, these media polls, these
- 0:41Speaker 2: college polls, they use the wrong everything, the wrong list.
- 0:45Speaker 2: They use the wrong demographics, the wrong age group. They
- 0:47Speaker 2: undersample Republicans. They do this all the time.
- 0:50Speaker 1: It's fascinating.
- 0:51Speaker 2: You could tell people this, show them the fake metrics,
- 0:54Speaker 2: and they still keep reading them every day and talking
- 0:56Speaker 2: about them. How do they get away with this all
- 0:58Speaker 2: these years?
- 0:59Speaker 1: Uh, they own the media. I mean, you know, you,
- 1:05Speaker 1: we've been friends for years and I've talked about this 2016.
- 1:09Speaker 1: You had a Hillary lock. Remember it was a lock
- 1:11Speaker 1: on election day. She was going to win. We, Trump
- 1:14Speaker 1: had no chance. And 2024 was going to be a
- 1:16Speaker 1: Biden blue wave and ends up being 44,000 votes in
- 1:17Speaker 1: three States, 11,000 in Georgia, Arizona, and 20,000 in, uh,
- 1:27Speaker 1: in Wisconsin that decided the race out of, you know,
- 1:30Speaker 1: 160 million votes. And in 2024, they, you know, President
- 1:36Speaker 1: Kamala Harris, she was going to win. And Trump, not
- 1:41Speaker 1: only did we win, but he, you know, he won
- 1:44Speaker 1: the popular vote and he swept the seven battleground states
- 1:47Speaker 1: and it was a decisive electoral victory. But he won
- 1:50Speaker 1: all the metrics. And, you know, it was a big win,
- 1:53Speaker 1: not close. And now, you know, you have the same
- 1:57Speaker 1: thing where you're saying a lot of these Senate races,
- 1:59Speaker 1: like in Texas, Univision comes out with a survey. They
- 2:01Speaker 1: use YouGov. They got, you know, they're under-polling Trump voters.
- 2:05Speaker 1: They're under-polling Republicans. But they do it on purpose in
- 2:08Speaker 1: these different media outlets because it helps the Democrats fundraise.
- 2:13Speaker 1: It tries to suppress Republican fundraising. And the worst is
- 2:18Speaker 1: turnout because in the midterm, it's a lower turnout than
- 2:22Speaker 1: a presidential election. So in 2024, we had 155 million
- 2:26Speaker 1: people come out and Trump got 50%. He got 77
- 2:29Speaker 1: million votes. So the Democrats and the liberal media know
- 2:34Speaker 1: that that 77 million that voted for Trump will decide
- 2:38Speaker 1: this election. So they're doing everything they can to suppress
- 2:42Speaker 1: the Trump vote. So, oh, it's, you know, this one
- 2:44Speaker 1: can't win that, you know, Tallarico is going to win
- 2:46Speaker 1: in Texas. And they got two Dan Sullivans in Alaska.
- 2:49Speaker 1: You like that in Alaska? The Democrats, the incumbent Republican
- 2:53Speaker 1: who's popular is named Dan Sullivan. So what do they do?
- 2:56Speaker 1: They find some other guy on the voter rolls named
- 2:58Speaker 1: Dan Sullivan, and they qualify him for the ballot because
- 3:02Speaker 1: in Alaska, they changed the election law so that the
- 3:07Speaker 1: top four are on the ballot from the primaries. It's
- 3:09Speaker 1: an open primary. So the top four, so you have
- 3:12Speaker 1: two Dan Sullivans to try to confuse the voters. But
- 3:15Speaker 1: it's that kind of stuff that's going on.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Now, you can't do that in Michigan. Michigan, where are
- 3:17Speaker 2: you going to find another guy named Mohammed Abdul El-Sayan Hassan, whatever?
- 3:22Speaker 2: You can't find him in Dearborn.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You'd find him in Dearborn. No, there's a significant Arab
- 3:30Speaker 1: population in the state. But they can't do that. But
- 3:35Speaker 1: it's a dead-even race in a lot of these polls
- 3:37Speaker 1: between Mike Rogers in Michigan and El-Sayed. And El-Sayed is
- 3:43Speaker 1: trying to disavow this guy he campaigned with in the primary,
- 3:47Speaker 1: Hassan Piker, who was saying– you know, we brought nine
- 3:50Speaker 1: 11 on ourselves. I mean, it's like, so, so you,
- 3:54Speaker 1: you've got the, the Democrat socialists, the socialists inside the
- 3:58Speaker 1: Democrat party have taken over their nomination. A lot of
- 4:00Speaker 1: places like in Maine, uh, Troy Jackson came in for
- 4:04Speaker 1: platinum after he fell out. And then, and then you
- 4:06Speaker 1: got El Sayed and they got Tallarico in Texas. You've
- 4:09Speaker 1: got real socialists who really, you know, do believe the
- 4:14Speaker 1: United States, uh, is at fault for a lot of things. And,
- 4:18Speaker 1: They would raise your taxes not by little but by trillions,
- 4:21Speaker 1: probably about $ 2, 000 or $ 3, 000.
- 4:23Speaker 2: But in the real polls, what do Americans think of
- 4:25Speaker 2: this socialism in the real polls?
- 4:28Speaker 1: Oh, they're really unpopular. I mean it's one of those
- 4:33Speaker 1: things where the Democrats within their party, the moderate Democrats
- 4:37Speaker 1: reject it and they're having a kind of civil war.
- 4:40Speaker 1: But then the leaders like Schumer and– You know, Hakeem Jeffries,
- 4:46Speaker 1: the leader of the Democrats in the House, they're saying
- 4:48Speaker 1: they should have a big tent. So they're letting them in.
- 4:51Speaker 1: In the meantime, you know, we're running campaigns for, like,
- 4:54Speaker 1: Janine Driscoll, who's running against Laura Gillen, and Tom Suozzi's
- 4:58Speaker 1: running against Michael Petri on Long Island. And those Republicans
- 5:02Speaker 1: are running against the Mondami-Hockel socialists. And even in New York, like,
- 5:07Speaker 1: New York's a two-to-one Democrat state, but Bruce Blakeman's within
- 5:10Speaker 1: a handful of points of Kathy Hockel. mainly because they
- 5:14Speaker 1: know she's going to give in to Mondami after Election Day.
- 5:18Speaker 1: It's a very poorly kept secret. The Democrat socialists have
- 5:22Speaker 1: asked for it, Mondami's asked for it. Huge tax hikes.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Mondami wants a 9.5% property tax hike on all the
- 5:29Speaker 1: homeowners in New York City and all the real estate
- 5:32Speaker 1: in New York City, including everything that's owned by Donald
- 5:34Speaker 1: Trump and other people, all this real estate. But they
- 5:38Speaker 1: also want a 2% corporate surcharge. They want surcharges on income.
- 5:43Speaker 1: They want to lower the threshold of the estate tax,
- 5:45Speaker 1: the debt tax, down to $ 750, 000. So if you own
- 5:49Speaker 1: a home for $ 750, 000, you die. Your kids will have
- 5:52Speaker 1: to give it to the government.
- 5:53Speaker 2: So the polls, the seven or eight Senate races that
- 5:58Speaker 2: are crucial, how are we going to do in them?
- 6:01Speaker 1: Well, there's actually nine that's rated as a toss-up right
- 6:05Speaker 1: now when you look at them. I think there's potential surprises.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Michelle Tafoya in Minnesota is running against one of these socialists,
- 6:12Speaker 1: Tim Walz's lieutenant governor, this woman named Ferguson. She's bizarre.
- 6:16Speaker 1: And that race is tied in Minnesota. And in New Hampshire,
- 6:20Speaker 1: there's been some polls that have John Sununu ahead of
- 6:23Speaker 1: Pappas in Minnesota. New Hampshire, so we could pick up that.
- 6:27Speaker 1: But then also some of these toss-ups like Ohio and Iowa,
- 6:30Speaker 1: we should not be tied in Ohio and Iowa with
- 6:33Speaker 1: the Democrats. And in Texas, there's polls out that have
- 6:37Speaker 1: Tallarico ahead. I just don't believe. I've polled for Trump,
- 6:41Speaker 1: you know, in every election in Texas, and we won
- 6:44Speaker 1: decisively the last one by 14 points. And I'm looking
- 6:47Speaker 1: at the details of these polls, and I'm like, you know,
- 6:49Speaker 1: Paxton's going to win in Texas. And Abbott should win decisively.
- 6:53Speaker 1: These polls that have the governor losing and Paxson losing
- 6:56Speaker 1: look like their demographics are definitely skewed left. So that's
- 7:01Speaker 1: going well. And, you know, in Maine, the polls are close.
- 7:04Speaker 1: And Susan Collins, you know, she voted against, she voted
- 7:08Speaker 1: to impeach Trump at one point, but he endorsed her.
- 7:12Speaker 1: So she was like seven points ahead of Trump the
- 7:15Speaker 1: last time she ran.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Maine, Michigan, where it's close. How will it break? Will
- 7:19Speaker 2: it break for the Republicans, do you think?
- 7:21Speaker 1: I have in 43, it's a toss up. Michigan's a
- 7:25Speaker 1: toss up and there's plenty of races that are toss
- 7:28Speaker 1: ups that the next 43 days are critical. I mean,
- 7:31Speaker 1: I'm not, you know, it's one of those things where
- 7:33Speaker 1: we really do have to get our vote out. We
- 7:36Speaker 1: really have to let them, we have to play offense
- 7:38Speaker 1: against these Democrats.
- 7:39Speaker 2: But that requires messaging. What is the Republican message? I
- 7:42Speaker 2: don't hear it yet.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Well, it's a problem because they, they, You know, when
- 7:48Speaker 1: the president wanted to have voter ID and improve for
- 7:50Speaker 1: citizenship in the Save America Act, the Republican Senate couldn't
- 7:53Speaker 1: pass it. That's why Cornyn lost his primary to Paxton.
- 7:57Speaker 1: So individual Republican candidates are going to have to go
- 8:00Speaker 1: after their Democratic opponents and basically say when he talks
- 8:04Speaker 1: about Medicare for all, he means eliminating any private health
- 8:07Speaker 1: insurance you have. It'll be all government run, be paid
- 8:10Speaker 1: for by massive increases in taxes. And they're going to
- 8:14Speaker 1: have to, 43 days, they have to bring the issues
- 8:16Speaker 1: to the Democrats. Open borders, et cetera.
- 8:19Speaker 2: They've got to run. How do they message that?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Well, the gas prices are tough because Iran, you know,
- 8:26Speaker 1: they know exactly what they're doing. They know we're in
- 8:28Speaker 1: a midterm election. They know that Donald Trump has them
- 8:32Speaker 1: on the ropes. And they're doing everything they can with
- 8:35Speaker 1: their terrorist allies, whether it's the Houthis or whatever, to
- 8:39Speaker 1: shut down the world's oil supply. So... Besson has these
- 8:46Speaker 1: economic sanctions against them, and I think the Republicans have
- 8:50Speaker 1: to say, look, we've got a choice. Either Iran gets
- 8:54Speaker 1: the nuclear weapon or we stop them right now. We
- 8:56Speaker 1: ought to do everything we can to finish the job,
- 8:59Speaker 1: and the prices of gas will come down. I think
- 9:03Speaker 1: President Trump's been more than patient with the Iranians, and
- 9:07Speaker 1: those economic sanctions are going to take a little time
- 9:09Speaker 1: to work, but that's better than a lot of other options.
- 9:13Speaker 1: But right now, Iran, you know, they know what they're doing.
- 9:16Speaker 1: They are basically doing it to raise the price of
- 9:19Speaker 1: gas to affect the American midterm elections.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Hey, we only got a minute left. Bruce Blakeman, good
- 9:26Speaker 2: shot at winning New York.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I hope. Yes, very good shot at winning New York,
- 9:31Speaker 1: precisely because, I mean, when you talk about affordability, Kathy Hochul,
- 9:35Speaker 1: she's allowed 48 utility rate hikes. We pay you enormous
- 9:40Speaker 1: utility bills, and she has the nerve to say she's
- 9:42Speaker 1: going to give back $ 100 or $ 200 to raise them
- 9:45Speaker 1: by thousands. And then she has, you know, she's raised
- 9:48Speaker 1: taxes $ 8 billion on New Yorkers, and you now have
- 9:51Speaker 1: her and Mondami are thinking of ways after Election Day
- 9:55Speaker 1: to raise taxes by billions more. So, and plus, you know,
- 10:00Speaker 1: Mondami wants to close Rikers Island. Both Hochul and Mondami
- 10:04Speaker 1: support cashless bail and letting criminals loose and open borders.
- 10:09Speaker 1: So Bruce has a really good shot because the reality
- 10:14Speaker 1: of their daily lives says things could get better because
- 10:17Speaker 1: Hochul I mean, people four years ago against Lee Zeldin,
- 10:21Speaker 1: they weren't sure they liked her. Now they know they
- 10:23Speaker 1: don't like her. So most New Yorkers want change. And
- 10:26Speaker 1: Bruce is doing an excellent job working really hard, really.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Yeah, he's doing well.
- 10:30Speaker 1: We've got 43 days to turn that around. It's really
- 10:33Speaker 1: important for New York. All right.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Well, John McLaughlin, keep up the good work. You can

- 10:52Speaker 1: as you get to say that. But you predicted it
- 10:55Speaker 1: a long time ago.
- 10:56Speaker 2: World leaders all over the world use you, and there's
- 10:59Speaker 2: a reason why. John McLaughlin, thanks for being with us.
