  Speaker 1: to school. A lot of parents are rearranging the schedule

  Speaker 1: back to the school schedule, which is depending on how

  Speaker 1: many things your children or your child is involved in.

  Speaker 1: That could be mean a lot of things during the day.

  Speaker 1: With our prayer blessing over every single parent who cares
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: about their children enough to be there for them. Amen.

  Speaker 1: That's a blessing for any child that has a loving parent,
• 0:45
  Speaker 1: loving mom, a loving dad, a loving dad, loving mom

  Speaker 1: in that order. Amen. And that has functioning family, especially

  Speaker 1: a family that is believes in Jesus, a family that's
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: faithful to God. Amen. That's the next level right there, parenting.

  Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about Beware of dream haters. That's the

  Speaker 1: title for today. Beware of dream haters. Be careful who
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: you share your dreams with. And I was thinking about students,
• 1:16
  Speaker 1: and I was thinking about parents, and I was thinking
• 1:18
  Speaker 1: about family, and I was thinking about friends, so called
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: friends and acquaintances. That they know that you have a dream,
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: and that they know that God has given you a
• 1:28
  Speaker 1: purpose and a plan. They know that God has given
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: you a dream of Gods size dream, and you share
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: it with certain people and they're like, nah, that's not
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: gonna happen. Or in your face they're smiling, praising God
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: right and in their hearts and their minds they're saying,
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: you know what, I hope that never happens, because if
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: it happens for you, what happened for me? And who
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: are you? And this kind of third beware of dream haters.

  Speaker 1: Today in the morning Devo, we're gonna read from Genesis,
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: chapter thirty seven, verses five to eight, Genesis, chapter thirty seven,
• 1:58
  Speaker 1: verses five to eight about this whole idea and this

  Speaker 1: whole thing about dream haters. They're out there, man. Unfortunately,
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: some people don't like to see other people receive God's blessings.
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: Some people don't like to see other people progress or
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: the plans of God over someone's life come to pass.
• 2:17
  Speaker 1: But whatever reason amen could be jealousy. You could be envy,
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: it could be anger, it could be you know, just
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: all kinds of things could be the reason why people
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: are dream haters. But beware of dream haters. Beware of
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: who you share your dreams with on the Morning Devo today.

  Speaker 1: take a shot at anybody or a jab at anybody.

  Speaker 1: Don't use this as an opportunity to say you're the

  Speaker 1: dream haater. Use this as an opportunity to show love

  Speaker 1: and kindness and try to bring understanding and awareness to
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: people who probably won't even think that they're dream haters
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: or that you yourself may just be aware or beware
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: right of who you share your dreams with. Not everybody's
• 3:23
  Speaker 1: in this for us, Not everybody wants us to succeed,
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: especially people who don't believe in Christ. They don't want
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: a Christ follower succeeding because it's more evidence and more
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: proof that they have to try to dismantle for their
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: un belief in being a Christ follower or in Jesus
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: on God himself the Father. So let's go for it. Father,
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: I thank you so much for this time, for this opportunity,
• 3:48
  Speaker 1: for this day, or for this new school year that's coming.
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: I pray Low God, that you will continue to blessed, guide,
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: guard every single parent who believes you, who are your children,
• 4:01
  Speaker 1: who have children that are going into school. I pray
• 4:05
  Speaker 1: a hedge of protection. I pray peace be still. I
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: pray health to the body, strength to the bones, and
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: the powerful name of Jesus. I pray that angels will
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: be dispatched all over our nation to every school system,
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: every school building, every teacher, every faculty member, every principal,
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: every school district, every school board. That little guy, that
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: you will have your way and your way of love,
• 4:26
  Speaker 1: grace and mercy will shine in every single student who
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: believes in you and will shine with and every single
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: teacher who believes in you, every single parent who believes
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: in you, and every single person that's involved in the
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: system of schooling, whether it's private or public. I pray
• 4:44
  Speaker 1: it's by faith, knowing that you are able to hear
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: these prayers and answer them according to every single individual
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: life in Jesus name, I praise by faith and those
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: who agree, we say, Amen and Amen. So get ready,
• 4:56

  Speaker 1: find them, we give God glory and praise, and we

  Speaker 1: honor you today as a teacher for our children in school,

  Speaker 1: that's very important right in life. We can't do it

  Speaker 1: every we can't be everywhere with our children. Amen. So

  Speaker 1: there's a trust factor there when we trust, when we

  Speaker 1: put our trust first and foremost with the Lord Jesus,

  Speaker 1: and then we send our kids out to these district
• 8:36
  Speaker 1: school districts in hopes that they will learn from good teaching,
• 8:40
  Speaker 1: right good teaching. So we praise God for you teachers. Amen, sister,

  Speaker 1: the way we think. Amen, as believers especially and those

  Speaker 1: who don't believe in Christ Jesus. Amen, hold sight. This

  Speaker 1: might be for you as well. Because God's word never

  Speaker 1: returns to him voids. So God doesn't waste time, our time,

  Speaker 1: with your time. Amen. He wants us to see what
• 9:21
  Speaker 1: his word has for us. He wants us to know

  Speaker 1: what his word says about being beware of dream haters.

  Speaker 1: beware of haters today in the morning. Devo Genesis, chapter
• 9:48
  Speaker 1: thirty seven Versus five to eight. Baba says, now Joseph
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: had a dream, and he told it to his brothers.

  Speaker 1: They hated him still more. Very first principle about what
• 10:07
  Speaker 1: God has showing us through Joseph, which is a type
• 10:11
  Speaker 1: of Jesus right from the Old Covenant. Be careful who
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: you share your dream with, and be mindful of the
• 10:21
  Speaker 1: timing of when God wants you to share the dream,
• 10:24
  Speaker 1: if he wants you to share your dream at all.
• 10:28
  Speaker 1: And I believe God doesn't want us to share our dreams,
• 10:31
  Speaker 1: but I think timing was a big issue here from
• 10:35
  Speaker 1: my findings of Joseph's lives. Joseph's life, and he said
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: to them, listen now, and here I pray you this
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: dream that I have dreamed. We brothers were binding shes
• 10:52
  Speaker 1: in the field, and behold my sheaf arose and stood upright,
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: and behold your sheaves stood round about my sheaf and
• 11:02
  Speaker 1: bound down. Brother said to him, shall you indeed reign
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: over us? Or are you going to have us as
• 11:12
  Speaker 1: your subjects and dominate us. And they hated him all
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: the more for his dreams and for what he said, Wow,
• 11:22
  Speaker 1: his own flesh and blood brothers. But like, Nah, that's
• 11:26
  Speaker 1: not gonna happen. Oh No, what are you trying to
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: say that we're gonna be under you, that we're gonna
• 11:30
  Speaker 1: be your servants, your subjects. We're not doing that, Joseph.
• 11:36
  Speaker 1: We're not doing that. Sam, We're not doing that, Joanne,
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: We're not doing that a wilde. No, when you share
• 11:43
  Speaker 1: your dream, man, be prayerful first. When God gives you
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: a dream, that's got okay. I want men to share
• 11:53
  Speaker 1: this with because not everyone you share your dream with
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: is going to be really backing you up or on
• 12:00
  Speaker 1: your side. Amen. And according to this scripture, according to
• 12:04
  Speaker 1: this story we see in Genesis chapter thirty seven, sometimes
• 12:09
  Speaker 1: your flesh and blood relatives will hate you for your dream.
• 12:16
  Speaker 1: It's just an amazing thing. Don't know why, Amen, this happens,
• 12:20
  Speaker 1: but obviously it does happen. Is in the word of God,
• 12:24
  Speaker 1: and it did happen to Joseph. Joseph could show us
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: a lot about other things in life. Right now. We're
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: the key in on what he's doing. With Joseph's life
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: and this story. So Joseph shares his dream dream we
• 12:42
  Speaker 1: got from the Lord. Amen. And although the brothers might
• 12:46
  Speaker 1: have been right about the context of the dream, but
• 12:49
  Speaker 1: the questions should have been asked, how'd you get that dream?
• 12:53
  Speaker 1: What do you mean, Joseph. No, they didn't even ask
• 12:57
  Speaker 1: Joseph what he meant. They are automatically. He said, listen,
• 13:01
  Speaker 1: we're not going to be under you. We hate you
• 13:03
  Speaker 1: for that. And if you know the story of Joseph,
• 13:06
  Speaker 1: his own brothers sold them, well, they ploted first to
• 13:10
  Speaker 1: kill him, and then one of the brothers said, now,
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: let's not kill him, and then they sold them into slavery.
• 13:15
  Speaker 1: And if you follow that life of Joseph, you see
• 13:18
  Speaker 1: that God was always with him, and I believe it
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: started with the dream. Amen. God was always with him.
• 13:25
  Speaker 1: I believe that's why Joseph's dad gave him that beautiful cope,
• 13:34
  Speaker 1: That's why God gave him his dream. But I think
• 13:38
  Speaker 1: he was off time. It's my humble opinion. I think
• 13:42
  Speaker 1: Joseph shared the dream too quickly. Amen. But God had
• 13:48
  Speaker 1: a way, God had a plan, God had a purpose, Amen.
• 13:53
  Speaker 1: And God's purpose was fulfilled in Joseph's life and everything
• 13:57
  Speaker 1: that he went through, from being sold into slavery, hated
• 14:01
  Speaker 1: by his brothers, accused by a woman, to being second
• 14:07
  Speaker 1: in charge, the reagion that God was using them in
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: being put in jail. Amen. So he did go through
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: a lot, but it started from when he shared his dream.
• 14:18
  Speaker 1: So think about it. Beware of dream haters. It would
• 14:21
  Speaker 1: cause you hardship, pain. You might even find yourself in
• 14:26
  Speaker 1: trouble because you shared your dream with people that Joseph,
• 14:32
  Speaker 1: you know, was like me, haters are my brothers. Let
• 14:35
  Speaker 1: me share my dream my brothers, but they took it
• 14:38
  Speaker 1: to the next level telling them about you're not going
• 14:39
  Speaker 1: to be over us. Who are you, Joseph? Amen, we
• 14:44
  Speaker 1: hate you, Joseph. So this is a reality and these
• 14:48
  Speaker 1: are things that be aware and for our children this
• 14:51
  Speaker 1: could be a good lesson. I always prep my daughter
• 14:54
  Speaker 1: every year since she's been in school. It's only been
• 14:57
  Speaker 1: four years in school, right, and I tell her list,
• 15:00
  Speaker 1: not everybody is your friend, because my daughter has these
• 15:03
  Speaker 1: things that well, that's she'll know your name. She'll get
• 15:07
  Speaker 1: your name, and then she'll come home and say that's
• 15:09
  Speaker 1: my friend. Just by knowing their name. It's a beautiful thing.
• 15:13
  Speaker 1: It's an innocent thing, Amen, But it's a dangerous thing
• 15:17
  Speaker 1: at the same time, as we know as adults as
• 15:19
  Speaker 1: parents that that's not necessarily what a friend is. After
• 15:23
  Speaker 1: I know your name, Amen, I could say you're my acquaintance,
• 15:27
  Speaker 1: but a friend is different. The Bible says are friends
• 15:30
  Speaker 1: stay closer than a brother sometimes, right. So friends are
• 15:35
  Speaker 1: a very precious gift that God allows us to have friends, right,
• 15:39
  Speaker 1: relatives friends, Sometimes our friends are there more than our relatives,
• 15:46
  Speaker 1: and sometimes it's vice versa. But I always tell her
• 15:50
  Speaker 1: to prepare her Listen when you share things, be careful
• 15:53
  Speaker 1: who you share things with, Be careful how you express yourself.
• 15:57
  Speaker 1: Everyone has different stories in their life. I always remind
• 16:01
  Speaker 1: my daughter because we have a functioning, faith filled family here,
• 16:06
  Speaker 1: but not everybody has a functioning faith filled family. Amen.

  Speaker 1: Not all the kids she's gonna meet, I'm gonna have
• 16:13
  Speaker 1: knew this and knew that, and a uniform or new
• 16:17
  Speaker 1: sneakers or whatever. As a matter of fact, we didn't
• 16:19
  Speaker 1: even get my daughter new sneakers yet. Amen. I don't
• 16:23
  Speaker 1: know what the hold of it is, but I guess
• 16:24
  Speaker 1: I dropped the ball on that gym is coming and
• 16:27
  Speaker 1: we have to get the new sneakers. But the thing is,
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: my point is beware. I would tell her beware, you know,
• 16:34
  Speaker 1: be mindful of how you speak to people, listen to
• 16:38
  Speaker 1: people's stories, and before you go ahead and share your
• 16:41
  Speaker 1: personal stuff, your dreams, and you know what I did
• 16:44
  Speaker 1: and where you live and all that with strangers. A
• 16:47
  Speaker 1: Scott pray to God. Amen. So that way I'm trying
• 16:52
  Speaker 1: to And this is inevitable. But she's going to bump
• 16:55
  Speaker 1: into in her life dream haters, just like I have
• 16:58
  Speaker 1: bumped into dream haters. You've probably bumped into dream haters,

  Speaker 1: people who hate your dream, people who hate our God,
• 17:06
  Speaker 1: people who don't want good for anybody else because at
• 17:09
  Speaker 1: this moment in their life, good is not happening in
• 17:11
  Speaker 1: their life. We've all heard it, misery loves company. But amen,
• 17:16
  Speaker 1: but when you're miserable, Amen, it's hard for you to love, right.
• 17:22
  Speaker 1: So that's saying it's really not true. Miserable people are
• 17:27
  Speaker 1: miserable because they're looking for something outside of God. They're
• 17:30
  Speaker 1: looking for love outside of the true love that God offers.
• 17:33
  Speaker 1: They're looking for something that will satisfy the soul outside
• 17:37
  Speaker 1: of God, so they will never be satisfied. Their soul
• 17:41
  Speaker 1: will never be satisfied if they're trying to seek that
• 17:45
  Speaker 1: satisfaction outside of what God has for their lives and
• 17:48
  Speaker 1: for my life. Man, So beware of dream haters. And
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: Joseph told his brothers the dream. They didn't like it.
• 17:57
  Speaker 1: They were like, no, that can be Joseph. You're not
• 18:01
  Speaker 1: going to reign over us or rule over us. But
• 18:04
  Speaker 1: if you look at the story, if you keep on
• 18:06
  Speaker 1: reading in Genesis chapter thirty seven, you know exactly what happened.
• 18:10
  Speaker 1: And at the end, when Joseph could have took revenge
• 18:14
  Speaker 1: over everything that his brothers did to him, he actually
• 18:17
  Speaker 1: showed love, compassion, and grace and forgiveness. He was a
• 18:21
  Speaker 1: type and shadow of the Lord Jesus who would come later, Amen,
• 18:25
  Speaker 1: and show the perfect way and the perfect truth and
• 18:28
  Speaker 1: the perfect life that we should be in that we
• 18:32
  Speaker 1: should be following. Amen. Jesus himself, our Lord, our Savior,
• 18:36
  Speaker 1: My Lord, my Savior. He didn't come to be served.
• 18:40
  Speaker 1: He came to serve and to give his life up
• 18:43
  Speaker 1: as a ransom for many. For all those who call
• 18:46
  Speaker 1: upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. The
• 18:48
  Speaker 1: Bible says, if you confess with your mouth from believing
• 18:51
  Speaker 1: your heart. That Jesus died and rose again on the
• 18:53
  Speaker 1: third day, the Bible says you will be saved. Amen.
• 18:58
  Speaker 1: So Jesus shared his dream with his disciples. Jesus shared
• 19:03
  Speaker 1: his purpose with his disciples, and guess what, he went
• 19:06
  Speaker 1: right over the heads when Jesus would speak kingdom because
• 19:10
  Speaker 1: this was a new thing. The kingdom principles were new,
• 19:13
  Speaker 1: and Jesus was sharing it with his disciples and went
• 19:16
  Speaker 1: over their heads. Even to the rich ruler that Jesus
• 19:22
  Speaker 1: met on the road. The ruler was like, yeah, I
• 19:25
  Speaker 1: followed the commandments. I did that, this, that and the third.
• 19:27
  Speaker 1: So they were still he was still in the mindset
• 19:29
  Speaker 1: of the old Covenant because that's what they had. They
• 19:32
  Speaker 1: had the old Covenant, and Jesus was representing the New Covenant.
• 19:37
  Speaker 1: So Jesus said, okay, you did the commandments. You're close.
• 19:40
  Speaker 1: You're getting close to getting what you need through God said,
• 19:44
  Speaker 1: go ahead and give it all away, sell all your
• 19:47
  Speaker 1: riches and come follow me. And what did the ritual
• 19:50
  Speaker 1: young rulers say or do? He went away sad he
• 19:54
  Speaker 1: couldn't do it. He couldn't let go. He was a dream,
• 20:00
  Speaker 1: dreamer and an achiever that rich young rule. I believe
• 20:04
  Speaker 1: he thought of something, he achieved it. Now he had
• 20:07
  Speaker 1: all these riches. It could have been inheritance, it could
• 20:09
  Speaker 1: have been a work thing that he was doing, a business.
• 20:12
  Speaker 1: Whatever it was, he couldn't let it go and trust
• 20:15
  Speaker 1: God and follow Jesus. So imagine if you're sharing this
• 20:20
  Speaker 1: big dream, or maybe it could be a ministry. Maybe
• 20:22
  Speaker 1: it could be a job that you invented, or you're
• 20:26
  Speaker 1: in you maybe have your dream job. Maybe it's an
• 20:28
  Speaker 1: organization that you're trying to establish, a ministry, business, whatever
• 20:33
  Speaker 1: it is, and you share it with certain people, and
• 20:35
  Speaker 1: on the outside it's smiling, Oh, that's great, and on
• 20:38
  Speaker 1: the inside of like, I hope it never happens. You're
• 20:40
  Speaker 1: not qualified and they hate on your dream. This is
• 20:44
  Speaker 1: a reality. And I know it's heavy for Morning Devo,
• 20:48

  Speaker 1: when seasons changed, it seems like God gives me something

  Speaker 1: new to think of, but it adds on on top

  Speaker 1: of what He has already given me to do. So

  Speaker 1: I don't stop one thing and go to another thing. Amen,

  Speaker 1: I continue what God has called me to do. And

  Speaker 1: of ideas, I don't believe that's from the Lord at all.

  Speaker 1: That's from another spirit. But I'm saying a dream to

  Speaker 1: help people to amplify the cause of Christ in your area,

  Speaker 1: your neighborhood, and your nation, in your community, right to

  Speaker 1: start programs that's going to help other families and help

  Speaker 1: other ministries reach their goals. Amen. When you share those things,

  Speaker 1: it shouldn't be a thing that you have to be
• 22:39
  Speaker 1: a qualified dreamer. If that's a thing, I don't know

  Speaker 1: what a qualified dreamer is, but it shouldn't be like,

  Speaker 1: brothers did to Joseph. We saw, we read it, you know,

  Speaker 1: Versus five to eight. The brothers were like they were mad,

  Speaker 1: they were angry, like nine, this is not gonna happen.

  Speaker 1: What do you mean We're gonna bow down to you all?

  Speaker 1: I think it meant a man that dream was like, listen,

  Speaker 1: God's calling me to lead, and he's calling me to

  Speaker 1: a place where it's gonna be in a place of authority.

  Speaker 1: And that did that not happen to Joseph. So we

  Speaker 1: know the story because we read it already, but at

  Speaker 1: the time that he was speaking it, he didn't know

  Speaker 1: what was going to happen. He didn't know what was

  Speaker 1: going to go on in his life. He didn't know

  Speaker 1: how much hardship he was going to have to face

  Speaker 1: before the dream came to pass. But God was with Joseph.

  Speaker 1: The Bible says, and guess what God is with you?

  Speaker 1: God is with me Emanuel. So we have the dream

  Speaker 1: that God gave us, and some of us are afraid

  Speaker 1: to share it at all. And man, I've shared my

  Speaker 1: dream hundreds of times on these platforms with other people.

  Speaker 1: support I get for the dream to come to pass.

  Speaker 1: But it's okay. There's one that supports the dream, and

  Speaker 1: cool to have physical people, you know, help and jump

  Speaker 1: on board of the dream. But it is what it is.

  Speaker 1: A lot of people are busy, A lot of people

  Speaker 1: are dreamers as well. I'm not the only dreamer out here,

  Speaker 1: a man. My wife says, you're a dreamer. I'm a realist.

  Speaker 1: So that's why God put us together. But listen, I

  Speaker 1: dream awake, you know, I dream. I don't dream really

  Speaker 1: a lot while I'm sleeping. I dream while I'm awake

  Speaker 1: and working and walking and talking to people. Amen. If

  Speaker 1: that's the thing that's the way God designed me. Others

  Speaker 1: have dreams overnight through the night, and when they wake up,

  Speaker 1: if it's from the Lord, they know that's going to

  Speaker 1: come to pass. And sometimes it's the morning. Sometimes it's

  Speaker 1: a good thing. Sometimes I just wondering you of a

  Speaker 1: bad thing that might happen if we go a certain direction.

  Speaker 1: So dreamers are out there, but beware of dream haters,

  Speaker 1: the people who hate your dream, who hate the plan

  Speaker 1: of God over your life for whatever reason. Listen. I

  Speaker 1: don't know a lot of people's stories. I don't know

  Speaker 1: what the reason why people will just hate your story,

  Speaker 1: hate your dream, hate our gud. I don't know why

  Speaker 1: people do that. But it's obvious that there are people

  Speaker 1: like that. And sometimes it's flesh and blood. Sometimes there's relatives,

  Speaker 1: Sometimes there's acquaintances. Sometimes it's people who say that are friends.

  Speaker 1: Sometimes it's church leadership, sometimes it's ministries. Sometimes it's just

  Speaker 1: like this gang mentality. If you're not with us, then

  Speaker 1: we can't do nothing with you, right. If you're not

  Speaker 1: in our congregation, then you know, go ahead and do

  Speaker 1: your thing. Or if you're not part of our denomination,

  Speaker 1: we can't work together. Imagine the denomination sharing their dream

  Speaker 1: with another denomination, Amen, and they support each other. They

  Speaker 1: might not be an agreement theologically about everything in the scriptures,

  Speaker 1: but they have a common good right to reach their
• 26:15
  Speaker 1: community and go and do some outreaches and evangelism. Amen.

  Speaker 1: That would be a beautiful thing. As a matter of fact,

  Speaker 1: the world will want to see that the church come

  Speaker 1: together as a body that we're supposed to be in
• 26:28
  Speaker 1: Christ and share each other's dreams with one another. I

  Speaker 1: truly believe as you have ministries that are from different

  Speaker 1: denominations come together for a good cause. And when that

  Speaker 1: does happen, it does happen. I've seen it happen. I've

  Speaker 1: been part of it. Amen. When I see it happen,

  Speaker 1: I see the community shine because we're shining a light

  Speaker 1: of Christ. But we're mindful of dream haters that are
