I hope everybody had a fantastic Friday. I'm sorry, I hope you do have a fantastic Friday. I'm exhausted. Yesterday when I woke up, it was one of those modes to where I woke up but I was okay initially. But then shortly thereafter I was just exhausted. It was like you ever have those nights where you sleep like a rock but you did not feel like rest or recovery. You but you've slept like a damn rock, like something was wrong. Like you were half dead. You weren't resting, you were dying. You were and so, you know, you couldn't you couldn't function after you were awake, you were like, What the hell? Like I feel like I got no sleep. Yeah, that was yesterday. And those effects still have not worn off yet. So Bear with me. We've been going nonstop. We've been going pretty ham. Yesterday we took the boat out and did a bunch of running and did a bunch of things and you know it just the days are flying by with like nonstop movement. There's been very little chill. And I I I'm dead set on the idea of like I got I slept like a rock, but I got like no recuperative sleep ⁓ the day before because we got back to the house yesterday, I got off the you know, we went out on the boat and stuff and I came back here. I was like, all right, I'm just gonna sit on the couch for a minute and like get my get my mind right and because I know I got more shit I gotta do around here. I passed out for all of 15 minutes on the couch. That was about it. Woke up, felt like a new man again. I'm like, all right, I got energy now, let's go do shit. Like that's all it took was that little fifteen minutes, which again makes me think that I didn't get shit for sleep. And I'm still absolutely one hundred percent exhausted. And we're carrying that into the into the weekend, I guess. I hope everybody had a good week, though. Today I have to drop off one of the little people. After I do that, I'm going to get breakfast and coffee and doing a little bit of construction work off property. Then I'll be coming back to meet up with my father. If he's not ready to go yet, I'm going to pick up construction materials. And then off to the gun shop to pick up my son a shotgun, I guess is the the plan. So yeah, long and long and the short of it is it's gonna be another busy day here. It's gonna be a busy weekend. It's just non it's it's gonna be nonstop and I'm I'm ready for things to start slowing down a tad. The momentum and progress we've been making here on the homestead since my buddies been here in town has been absolutely phenomenal. I don't think for a second That we're wasting much time. Yesterday we needed a break. The boat was a good, a good break. So I think that another day of boating is is going to be in order. I think that just has to happen like once a week just to break up the monotony of of how much we've been pushing and doing and going. I think it's just I think it's necessary. So yeah. But we did it. You know, we're making it to the weekend, all of us. Surprisingly, there hasn't been too many Crazy, crazy tragedies in the media lately. There's almost not I got I got one article for you guys today and it's really I don't know, it was something I saw that that piqued my interest and and that was it. And I guess that's the one we're reading and we'll talk about it. I go on and off of politics. Sometimes there's things really piquing my interest. Other times I'm like, no. But like the conspiracy side of my brain is always going. Reading between the lines, that's always happening. And those there's not always good stories. There's there's just not, you know? But we're due we're due for some good stuff coming up. So I mean you guys know how this shit rolls. Not every show is going to be fantastic. And I'll tell you what, if you guys aren't listening to my other show, the It's Doomsday Podcast, you absolutely should be, because we're back to putting out episodes every week with the new co-host. Anyway, we'll be right back after these messages. Can't get enough of Jester Dooms? Check out his other show, It's Doomsday Podcast, available on all podcast platforms. That's It's Doomsday Podcast. Back to the show. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Doom Daily Show. I am your host, Jester Dooms, the email, Doom Daily Show at gmail.com. Make sure to like, share, and subscribe to the show. Yes. Yes, yes. Okay. So got one article here on the Epic Times, as always. FBI Director unveils most wanted fraudsters list. FBI Director. Cash Patel on Thursday announced the creation of a most wanted fraudsters list that will include individuals who federal officials deem nation's top ten ⁓ top ten alleged fraud criminals in a move that echoes the FBI's most wanted list that has been used for decades. Now, I do think see, ladies and gentlemen, you you have to kind of understand or or just get a general sense of how much fraud takes place in this country. It's it's wild. And it's not just now I'm not just talking about the scammers who are calling you trying to get money out of you or you signing up for programs that don't really exist or, you know, corporations signing you up for things and not being held accountable for their actions and you never getting their money back. I mean, I'm not just talking about that. I'm talking about the idea of fraud also on the hands of just your average everyday people that are committing fraud against healthcare. insurance companies, the mail service. Like there's there's a lot. So let's let's get into this and find out what kind of fraud they're trying to go after. In a news conference, Patel said that the top ten list was approved by Vice President JD Vince in a bid to crack down on federal entitlement fraud across the United States. I want all Americans to take a look at these most wanted individuals and look at the amounts, the tens of millions and billions of dollars in fraud that they have disseminated our societies from, Patel said. We rely on you, our best information is the American public. The FBI director then showed the screen listing multiple individuals who have been placed by the Bureau on the list. In a statement, Patel said that the list will represent Some of the alleged worst of the worst who stole millions in taxpayer money that will allow law enforcement to use their full weight to target those individuals. The list so far includes eight individuals who are currently at large and wanted by the FBI, including people accused of carrying out millions of dollars in wire fraud, mortgage fraud, healthcare fraud, money laundering, and other crimes. For years, the FBI has updated its ten most warrant fugitives lists, which list fugitives charged with crimes ranging from murder, international drug trafficking to cybercrimes. Separately, the Department of Justice, DOJ, and FBI announced federal and state charges against nine Ohio defendants for their alleged participation in a forty two million dollar fraud scheme and ordered the detention of three other defendants in connection with another fifteen million fraud scheme according to according to a Thursday statement. So it seems to me now, okay, fraud people committing fraud can come in many fashions. Okay. If I told you you if I told you the listener that, you know, producer Scooter and myself were starting an animal rescue and we need to secure money for ⁓ pet carriers and animal food and vet bills and all these things. And This doesn't exist, but we're collecting money for it. That's fraud. Okay. And, you know, producer scooter's been ⁓ you know, literally up my ass about a gerbil rescue for years and I'm like, dude, I'm not getting involved in your gerbil rescue. I don't know why he wants to do it. It's very bizarre, but you know, just a side story there. So when this list does when you do see individuals on this list, you have to wonder what they're gonna be connected and tied back to, right? 'Cause there's always there's always some shit with There's always some sort of insur insurance game shit. There's always some kind of something going on. Where you as an American taxpayer sign up for something, expecting a service, the business goes under, it falls through, the money gets rerouted. We we've all been victim to something at some point. And I would like accountability to be held against those people that you just can't create a program and shit on your customers. Some people are out tens of thousands of dollars or thousands of dollars or tens of hundreds of dollars or ten dollars. You know, they're they're out money. That's the point. Anyway. ⁓ working closely with Ohio officials, the Department of Justice dissip dismantled a sophisticated medical fraud scheme that exploited taxpayers to fund exotic cars and lavish lifestyles, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanch said in a statement, by holding these fraudsters accountable and partnering with the FBI on a robust most wanted fraudsters list, we are Pursuing fraud more aggressively than ever. Now, you have to ask yourself this question too. Is this because they really give a shit about the taxpayers losing money? Or are these people getting a bunch of money tax free and the government's not getting their cut? Or have the big corporations that run this world simply had enough and said, You gotta do something, man. We're paying way too much out for these guys. We can't prove they're doing shit, blah, blah, blah. And it's the big corporations pushing the FBI to do something. You have to ask yourself that. ⁓ Starting earlier this year, the Trump administration tapped Vance to lead an anti-fraud task force targeting individuals engaged in waste, abuse, and illegal activities involving federal benefit programs. The administration also has initiated multiple investigations into potential health care fraud and halted some two hundred and forty-three million dollars in medical payments to Minnesota over fraud concerns. In April, Dr. Mamet Oz, the administrator of the centers for Medicaid and Medicare services, said he would add that oversight by requiring all fifty states to share how they plan to re revalidate some of their medical providers. Revalidate. I guess like, you know, okay. I I get it. They want to see how they're doing business and yeah. I mean so it again, it seems to me and and that's the that's the end of the article. There is no more. ⁓ it seems to me that this is something that's meant just like not to help out the little guy, not to protect you, the citizen, but to help out the bigger players, the medical companies and the corporations, the insurers. That's what it seems like. Protect the money for the big guy, not the little guy. Anyway, we'll be right back after these messages. Hey, producer Scooter here. My father in law is a very interesting individual and he's been on this kick for a couple years that very hard times are ahead. Like very hard times. Like he feels it in his bones that hard times are ahead. He thinks we're going to go into a recession very soon. Could happen. Right. It could. He also thinks when these hard times come, they're gonna come with a lot of a lot of battles and a lot of blood, a lot of blood shed. So I don't know what he's reading or what he's following or or anything, but he's usually if he comes at you telling these things and and he keeps hitting that repeat button on you telling you the same thing over and over again, it's usually There's usually something to it. So we'll see. We'll see what happens here. But it kind of makes me wonder if this whole thing with the fraud and the potential recession isn't tied together in some odd fashion, because usually when we see f hard financial times, you don't see corporations suffer. But if the medical industry and the insurance companies and the corporations have been subject to a lot of money loss due to fraud and they know something's on the horizon, they might want to fix this now before more people become wiser and learn how to do these things. Now I'm not one for you know, committing crimes or anything like that, but I love a good Robin Hood story. All right. Rob from the rich and give to the poor. I think that I think that some of these people who are outcommitting like I I guess we'll call this petty fraud. These people that are just trying to get over on the system to get by and, you know, put a little extra money in their pocket. Or if they're trying to simply put some extra food on the table because they can't make it, I mean, these are individuals that they're not targeting with this list, right? And that's fine. Whatever. On the flip side of that, when these people are getting screwed over by a corporation or a company, They're not going after those people either. So, you know, who is drawing the line in the sand? See, I think personally, I think we need a strong federal consumer affairs agency that is federally funded, that's in every fucking state, that has boots on the ground and every single every single county. All right. And I think that there needs to be individuals that you can call a local office that you can call and stating, hey, I got screwed over by Walmart. I got screwed over by this corporate tire shop. I got screwed over by the hospital. I got screwed over at this automotive dealership. I got royally taken to the bank by this commercial. plumbing company. All right. And I think that you need to have a set of trained individuals who know all these consumer rules, laws, and regulations and and know what the federal guidelines are, what the state guidelines are as far as what you need to return an item, what constitute is is, you know, all of these things, right? And actually send these people out and issue fines, issue citations, have them have a day in court and everything else because The idea that consumers are getting shit on left and right in this country and they can't do anything about it is bullshit. I had recently went and purchased a truck. Now you know the moment you drive a vehicle off a lot, it's your problem. I've purchased over a dozen vehicles in my lifetime. Over a dozen. Somewhere between a dozen and twenty, I couldn't off the top of my head, I couldn't tell you. And I've never once had a vehicle fall apart on the car ride home, okay? The truck I picked up had side mounted toolboxes under the bed. And one of these doors, I guess the welds were broke on the hinges, I'm going seventy miles an hour or so down the highway, and this door comes off. If this door would have caught wind and lifted itself in the air, that could have went through somebody's windshield and killed somebody. And I essentially would have been held liable because I was operating that vehicle. Now I had just bought it. Who would think to check the welds on a hinge on a door? I mean, I opened and closed them, they worked just fine. I didn't think it was gonna break going down the damn highway. So I contacted the dealer about this, and they won't fix it. They won't send out a new door. They won't send out a new box. They they won't do anything. Now, this is an instance where I wish I had a number to call and say, Hey, I had just purchased this vehicle. I'm driving down the road and the door fell off. ⁓ what the fuck? Somebody needs to go in there and get this replacement cost covered. And the person on the phone could say, okay, we'll do that. We'll take a ride right over there. They go down there, they say, Hey, you sold this guy a vehicle. This is what happened. It happened on on on his ride home with the vehicle. He's got pictures that are timestamped and dated. He said he reached out to you guys and you're not going to do anything. Well, Article five, subsection eight five, seven or whatever, says, Hey, this client Own this vehicle for less than 24 hours, you're responsible for blah. And he didn't even make it home. So you have two options. We can go this route. You can issue the client a check for the amount, or option B, we can issue you a citation that's double the amount. So you'll end up having to pay this, and we will pay out the client. And that could help pay for this agency's services. Right. That simple. I get my door, get my door fixed. If they wanna fight it, they still gotta pay it. And then the agency makes some money to help them out to win win for everybody. Even the c even even the dealer, because the dealer's gonna get more business if they stop doing shitty business. Right. And then if you had this going on across the board and people knew this was a thing and they knew they had to do good quality work and they knew that they had to be if they knew that they were gonna be held accountable for shit. At the end of the day, this agency would slowly fizzle out and not need to exist anymore. It would bring honesty back to business. So maybe you go from having an agent in each county to having one that services a tri county area. And then as things start getting better, maybe you have regional agents like just four or five scattered throughout a state that can pretty much get to their region anywhere in it within a few hour drive. Right. You just start dialing it back as it's not needed. And then if it starts ramping up again, you start putting more people on it again. I mean s something's gotta give somewhere. I I consistently keep feeling like I get screwed over in every capacity, whether I'm going to the store, whether I'm buying something from a dealer, whether I'm hiring someone for for a service, I consistently feel like I'm getting boned. And there's nobody to do anything. So like what do you what do what are you supposed to do with this? Like I literally refuse to shop at the Walmart in my town anymore because I got screwed over. And I've I've told that story on this show. And there was no one to call saying, Hey, this this big corporation is bullying me out the fucking door while they're keeping my money. There's no one to call. They're fucking lying you call for fucking Walmarts overseas somewhere. They literally bullied me out of the store and and kept my son's money. Like you're you're a corporation, man, and says is that important that you guys fuck little kids over? I'm sorry. Like what? I'll never go back to that store again. Ever. And again, there's nobody to call to go in there to make them do their job or make them take care of the the customers. Bes better business bureau is a fucking joke. They are a goddam joke. Online ratings are again a joke because nobody takes the time to read reviews. Mean that's that's it, you know. It's all it is. Anyway, it's about all the time we got on today's show. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend. Enjoy it. You've earned it. We will see you guys back here next week for more exciting episodes of the Doom Daily Show. Producer Scooter, sir, if you would hit that button. Facts and opinions. This is the
