- 0:20Favorite happy places her chicken coop, along with all her
- 0:23chickens. Hey everybody, good morning.
- 0:30I'm from the chicken coop. You can hear all the babies off
- 0:32in the distance, peeping away this morning.
- 0:34So I am going to talk to you today about imagination and how
- 0:42important imagination is. So in the 1800's a French
- 0:48psychologist and pharmacists introduced a new form of
- 0:55Psychiatry psychology that a Psychotherapy I believe is what
- 0:59it was where he Hold it, optimistic autosuggestion and he
- 1:03was very focused on it. I'm going to butcher his name.
- 1:06So please I apologize ahead of time for not being able to
- 1:10pronounce this very well. And it's a very long name but he
- 1:13was technically known as Emile Quay cou e with an a little
- 1:20asterisk over it. So he was a absolute influence
- 1:27in this field because he really, really studied read the this he
- 1:32created this method and it was all about having that
- 1:39incremental adjustments to your mindset by completely focusing
- 1:44on the optimistic parts of things by looking at certain
- 1:47things and you can certainly, you know, look them up.
- 1:50See what he had to say. But today we are talking about
- 1:54something that he said that intrigued me that I just
- 1:57recently read about where your imagination.
- 2:00Is stronger than willpower. And when in conflict with each
- 2:06other, imagination will always win and he really believed this
- 2:10and I have to say I am a huge believer in imagination.
- 2:15I was I spent a lot of time and trouble for my imagination
- 2:19because people would say that I wasn't paying attention.
- 2:21I was daydreaming I was all over the place.
- 2:25I didn't need to constantly be thinking about things, the way I
- 2:28was and yada yada yada. Yeah.
- 2:31And so spent a lot of time in trouble as a kid for it.
- 2:34However, I'm really glad that I never paid attention to anybody
- 2:37about it and I kept it and it never got ruined and it's a very
- 2:40precious thing to me to this day.
- 2:41Otherwise, why the hell would I be sitting?
- 2:43In a chicken coop, shooting a podcast from it that came from
- 2:47my imagination and I have always valued my imagination highly,
- 2:52but I understand right now that that is not something that's
- 2:55quite as coveted as it once was. And that's a problem because I
- 2:59do believe, What he's talking about and the imagination is
- 3:03stronger than pretty much anything in our presence.
- 3:06It is a powerful tool that has been given to us from the
- 3:10universe. From God, however, you want to
- 3:12look at it, it is a tool that has been given to us and it is
- 3:16highly neglected right now. It is highly ignored and it is
- 3:20highly. Just I don't want to say it's
- 3:25abused but it is just, it's not cultivated anymore, it's not
- 3:30coveted, it's not something that I think should happen at all.
- 3:34I mean, I think we should be cherishing what we have in it
- 3:38and I think we should constantly be cultivating it to become the
- 3:42absolute Supreme tool that it needs to be for us because out
- 3:46of imagination. Everything else arises I mean,
- 3:49think about it, everything around you was created.
- 3:53Out of someone's imagination, if not the universe and its
- 3:58imagination. So it doesn't make a difference.
- 4:01What it is, I'm here on an iPhone and I am working this
- 4:05iPhone using this and this was out of someone's imagination.
- 4:10Everything comes that way, I'm in a chicken coop that has.
- 4:16I had a vision for what it wanted to look like.
- 4:18I could see it in my imagination.
- 4:21It's a powerful powerful tool. And when you utilize it as that
- 4:27special tool, it helps you more than anything else does
- 4:31willpower is strong, determination is strong.
- 4:38Faith is strong. Imagination is Magic.
- 4:43And when you use it as such, you become the wizard, or the war
- 4:49log, or however you want to do it.
- 4:51The Sorceress you become the magic, whatever?
- 4:53Never that word is for you. You have to make the decision
- 4:58that you're going to cultivate your imagination.
- 5:00So how does one start to cultivate their imagination or
- 5:03bring it back to life when it has been neglected and suffered
- 5:06as it often does within our society because everybody just
- 5:10focuses on work and focuses on chores and focuses on paying
- 5:14bills and they don't focus on their imagination.
- 5:18So being very random is a great thing to start with trying
- 5:23things. That you would never think you
- 5:25would try before taking your self and saying what are the
- 5:31things that I love to do when I was a kid before the world, got
- 5:35in the way and what were the creative things, you did as a
- 5:38child and bringing them back into your life now.
- 5:41So that is one of my favorite ways to do it and I would really
- 5:45suggest and if you don't have something from when you were a
- 5:48child that you said I didn't love to do this.
- 5:50I didn't do this. I didn't do this, then you just
- 5:52start exploring raw and Do and think.
- 5:54Okay, what would be interesting to me?
- 5:56Now what would be something that would be fun to me.
- 5:58Now you pour into it that way and you just start thinking
- 6:02about it because I will tell you that quote imagination is
- 6:06stronger than willpower and wanting conflict with each other
- 6:10imagination. Always wins it.
- 6:13Will it can change your world because when something comes up
- 6:16and it's hard and it's difficult and you need your willpower to
- 6:19get through it if you just stopped and paused and you said,
- 6:22okay, how can My use my imagination instead, that's when
- 6:26magic happens. All right?
- 6:28My friends. I hope you have a blessed day
- 6:30and I will see you tomorrow. Bye.
