A woman who first saw the 1982 horror movie “Poltergeist” as a child now lives in the California house used as the Freeling family home. She moved to California in the early 1990s and would drive past the house while visiting her sister in Simi Valley. Years later, when she heard it was for sale, she was looking for a home for herself and her three daughters, so she booked a viewing.
