- 0:02Speaker 1: If you're about to have class in session.
- 0:05Speaker 2: If you're like me and you were not great at math,
- 0:07Speaker 2: we're going to learn some good math here this morning
- 0:09Speaker 2: from our very own Angie.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Angie, can you.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Give us our first ever girl math hack lesson today?
- 0:17Speaker 3: Okay, here's your girl math lesson.
- 0:20Speaker 4: When you go to the gas station, for example, and
- 0:24Speaker 4: you buy yourself a treat, and you buy your co
- 0:27Speaker 4: host some quick chicken.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Oh it was good.
- 0:30Speaker 4: You hit cash back and you pull out however much
- 0:33Speaker 4: cash back you want, twenty dollars in this case, and
- 0:38Speaker 4: then you pocket that and you now have free money.
- 0:43Speaker 3: That's my hack.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Yeah, when you explain this to me, I had to
- 0:46Speaker 2: stop and think, wow, I think she might genuinely think this.
- 0:51Speaker 1: This is how do you justify this in your brain yet? Okay?
- 0:54Speaker 4: Because I usually buy everything with my card, and so
- 0:58Speaker 4: if I hit cash back, then it charges me. Let's
- 1:01Speaker 4: say it was twelve dollars whatever I got, and then
- 1:04Speaker 4: I hit twenty dollars cash back. Thirty two dollars has
- 1:08Speaker 4: come out of my account. I accepted that whatever, but
- 1:12Speaker 4: twenty of that is cash that I haven't spent and
- 1:15Speaker 4: I will save and put away.
- 1:18Speaker 3: And then when I least expect it.
- 1:20Speaker 4: I'll remember, Oh, I have twenty bucks in cash. Yeah,
- 1:25Speaker 4: and so I can use that twenty bucks in cash
- 1:27Speaker 4: that I didn't realize I still had. And then that's
- 1:31Speaker 4: basically like I didn't use it.
- 1:33Speaker 3: And it's free.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Hey you heard it here first.
- 1:35Speaker 2: It makes sense if you've ever needed free money, get
- 1:38Speaker 2: that cash back. Yeh, next time you're a quickstar Caseyes,
- 1:42Speaker 2: that's girl math.
- 1:44Speaker 4: I mean to the t that's girl math. What are
- 1:47Speaker 4: your favorite girl math hacks. I know I'm not the
- 1:49Speaker 4: only girly who has some girl math hack that it
- 1:52Speaker 4: makes sense to us, but maybe it's not fiscally responsible.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Let us know.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 2:00Speaker 2: eight seven Angie, it's kind of interesting, Melissa.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Let us know the exact same thing.
- 2:04Speaker 2: She said, cash doesn't count if I paid with cash,
- 2:08Speaker 2: I never saw the number leave my bank app Therefore
- 2:11Speaker 2: it never happens exactly.
- 2:13Speaker 3: That goes hand in hand.
- 2:14Speaker 4: That's the second step to the cash back hack.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:18Speaker 2: See, I've heard of girl math where let's say you're
- 2:21Speaker 2: on a cruise or maybe you're in a hotel. Yeah,
- 2:24Speaker 2: I've heard that, if you can just charge it to
- 2:27Speaker 2: the room, it's free.
- 2:28Speaker 1: You know.
- 2:29Speaker 2: The drinks are free, the food is free, the service
- 2:31Speaker 2: is all free.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Oh, this is another girl math hack.
- 2:34Speaker 4: If you bought something and then you returned it, you.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Have more money.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Now, that's very fun You don't.
- 2:43Speaker 4: You don't have the same amount of money you had
- 2:45Speaker 4: to begin with, Like somehow you have more money after
- 2:47Speaker 4: returning it.
- 2:48Speaker 2: That's funny. You said that because Katie just texted that.
- 2:50Speaker 2: She said, if I return one thing, I basically made money. Sure,
- 2:54Speaker 2: I spent one hundred and forty dollars today, but I
- 2:57Speaker 2: returned a thirty five dollars sweater, so I really only
- 3:00Speaker 2: spent one oh five. That means I'm a financial wizard.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Yeah, we should open an agency.
- 3:06Speaker 2: And then finally, this last one, and this is from Emily.
- 3:10Speaker 2: It says buying buying two to get free shipping means
- 3:16Speaker 2: I saved money. Yes, the shirt was twenty eight dollars
- 3:19Speaker 2: and the shipping was eight dollars, so I added another
- 3:22Speaker 2: forty dollars forty dollars item to avoid paying shipping.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Beat that the system.
- 3:27Speaker 3: That's right.
- 3:33Speaker 5: Celebrating life's little victories every morning, we practice gratitude on
- 3:38Speaker 5: Big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:40Speaker 6: If I could I would keep this feeling in a
- 3:42Speaker 6: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 3:45Speaker 5: Sure your little victories with us at seven oh one,
- 3:48Speaker 5: two eighth one eight seven kids.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I also needed to win that day, Angreie.
- 3:54Speaker 2: You have a lot of days to choose from. Do
- 3:56Speaker 2: you have some some little victories for me? I'll let
- 3:58Speaker 2: you run a couple.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Of teo if you want you And so I'm gonna
- 4:01Speaker 3: go quick.
- 4:02Speaker 4: So the first is I got my eyebrows threaded on Saturday,
- 4:06Speaker 4: and I needed it so bad. I was starting to
- 4:09Speaker 4: get a unibrow. It was rough for your girls, so
- 4:11Speaker 4: I got them threaded. So they're nice and clean and pretty.
- 4:15Speaker 4: And I'm a different person when my eyebrowserre threaded. I'm
- 4:18Speaker 4: a better person when my eyebrowser threaded, So that was
- 4:21Speaker 4: very exciting. I also have talents instead of toes right now,
- 4:27Speaker 4: and I scheduled myself a pedicure for after work today
- 4:31Speaker 4: so that now that summer's here, I can have toesies
- 4:35Speaker 4: that I can like have out in the world without
- 4:37Speaker 4: people going, oh, Mike, oh.
- 4:39Speaker 2: You're not getting kicked on a line at the airport.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Exactly perfect.
- 4:43Speaker 4: And then the final little victory, which I did post
- 4:47Speaker 4: a picture of this on the big ninety points of
- 4:50Speaker 4: a Facebook page if you want to check it out.
- 4:52Speaker 4: But on Sunday, Gabe and his lovely wife Corey invited
- 4:57Speaker 4: me and the fam over for, you know, just to
- 5:00Speaker 4: hang out and for some grilling. And I feel very
- 5:04Speaker 4: fortunate that instead of being judgy, Wudgie was a bear, Gabe,
- 5:08Speaker 4: you were just like, okay.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Agie, you're a vegan. I'm gonna grill you some vegan hamburgers.
- 5:16Speaker 3: And you didn't.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Think or even if you thought it, you didn't say anything.
- 5:20Speaker 4: You didn't give me a hard time, like you're not
- 5:21Speaker 4: gonna have a real burger, blah blah blah, all the
- 5:24Speaker 4: stuff that non vegans love to say to me. Sure
- 5:27Speaker 4: when I tell them that I'm vegan, like you, just
- 5:30Speaker 4: you went with it and you grilled me up some
- 5:32Speaker 4: vegan burgers and they were delicious, and just hanging out
- 5:37Speaker 4: with you and Corey was a really fun time. The
- 5:40Speaker 4: kids had a great time, Mikey had a great time,
- 5:42Speaker 4: and it was really nice to just feel like family
- 5:45Speaker 4: when we were hanging out at your place.
- 5:47Speaker 3: So thank you.
- 5:48Speaker 1: That was a lot of fun.
- 5:48Speaker 2: It was cool watching Aiden and Liam playing with the
- 5:52Speaker 2: dog in the backyard.
- 5:53Speaker 1: That was kind of fun.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Excited to be with Winona.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Who was excited to have a house full of people
- 5:59Speaker 2: what she loved and it was Yeah, it was a
- 6:01Speaker 2: great time.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I have never grilled a vegan before.
- 6:03Speaker 2: And if at any point in your life you're going, well,
- 6:05Speaker 2: how do you grill a vegan burger, I'll let you know.
- 6:07Speaker 1: It's the exact same.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, there's no difference. So now it was a
- 6:12Speaker 2: great time, a lot of grilling. So I enjoyed that
- 6:15Speaker 2: a lot. It was cool to hang out in the
- 6:16Speaker 2: backyard for sure. That would could also be one of
- 6:19Speaker 2: my little victories, but because of Sunday, you know, one
- 6:22Speaker 2: of those things that you're like, I'll get to this,
- 6:24Speaker 2: I'll do it. Maybe just husbands are used to this
- 6:26Speaker 2: when their wife is like, hey, will you do this
- 6:28Speaker 2: and you're like, oh yeah, and then it's five months
- 6:30Speaker 2: later you get it done.
- 6:31Speaker 6: Well.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Our back patio, the door it's like a sliding door, right,
- 6:36Speaker 2: and Angie had her sons there and obviously Angie and
- 6:40Speaker 2: Mikey were there and it was just kind of funny
- 6:42Speaker 2: because I just have muscle memory with this sliding door,
- 6:45Speaker 2: like it's just kind of heavy. It kind of feels
- 6:47Speaker 2: like it gets stuck sometimes. Yeah, and for whatever reason,
- 6:50Speaker 2: it's just really annoying to do. And you got a
- 6:51Speaker 2: plate full of food. So right when Angie and her
- 6:55Speaker 2: sons and Mike left on Sunday, my little victory is
- 6:58Speaker 2: I fixed the door, which I should have done forever ago.
- 7:02Speaker 2: But there's like wheels on the bottom of this sliding door,
- 7:06Speaker 2: and for whatever reason, when they built the house, I
- 7:08Speaker 2: don't think they set them at the right height. Oh okay,
- 7:11Speaker 2: So I fixed it. So now at the door you
- 7:13Speaker 2: can do it with like one finger.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Oh that's exciting, yeah, because I'm watching poor little Liam
- 7:17Speaker 4: struggle to open the door. But I thought, you need
- 7:20Speaker 4: to face some adversity.
- 7:21Speaker 1: That's right, you gotta go through some adversity.
- 7:23Speaker 2: So that definitely my little victory, getting the sliding door
- 7:26Speaker 2: all set up to now where anybody could do it
- 7:28Speaker 2: with just a couple of their fingers. My other little victory, Angie,
- 7:32Speaker 2: you know, you know I love me a fun truck accessory.
- 7:38Speaker 2: You know I love your community all day. Well, at
- 7:43Speaker 2: our house, I've been dubbed the groceries bleep.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Okay. I have always had to go get these groceries,
- 7:51Speaker 1: which is fine. I don't mind doing it.
- 7:53Speaker 2: It's not that big of a deal because it saves
- 7:55Speaker 2: us a lot of time when we can do a
- 7:56Speaker 2: mid afternoon instead of when my wife is done at
- 8:00Speaker 2: like five, you know, right right, saves a lot of time.
- 8:02Speaker 2: So I'll throw these groceries in the back of the
- 8:04Speaker 2: truck and now I have like a rubber insert back
- 8:08Speaker 2: there to where you know, the bags don't go sliding
- 8:10Speaker 2: around or anything like that, but things in those bags
- 8:13Speaker 2: can go sliding around. Cans of soup, pickle jars, whatever
- 8:17Speaker 2: else can go rolling around.
- 8:19Speaker 1: So what did I buy, Angie.
- 8:20Speaker 2: I bought me a nice little Uh it's like a
- 8:22Speaker 2: net that goes across Okay, yes, exactly what this is.
- 8:26Speaker 2: And I can throw groceries in that net. And it
- 8:29Speaker 2: arrived in from Amazon yesterday and I got that bad
- 8:33Speaker 2: boy set up, and I cannot wait for the next
- 8:35Speaker 2: time I have to go get groceries.
- 8:36Speaker 4: I mean, this is exciting for you to actually look
- 8:39Speaker 4: forward to a grocery one run because you one hundred
- 8:42Speaker 4: percent do complain about it.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Oh my god, I don't mind going to get them.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I hate that's every single time I got to bring
- 8:48Speaker 2: them all in by myself. I got to put them
- 8:50Speaker 2: all away by myself, and they're always in the wrong spot,
- 8:54Speaker 2: and I get to hear about it, and so at least,
- 8:57Speaker 2: at the very least, the going to get them will
- 8:59Speaker 2: be the fun part.
- 9:04Speaker 6: Hot.
- 9:05Speaker 2: It is getting hot, and there is There was someone
- 9:08Speaker 2: who left us this voice memo that I had to
- 9:10Speaker 2: play for you today. This is from Randy, and he
- 9:13Speaker 2: was talking about air conditioning, all right, and I want
- 9:17Speaker 2: to know if you agree with this.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Take a listen to what Randy said.
- 9:21Speaker 6: I just hate air conditioning. I put off turning it
- 9:24Speaker 6: on as long as possible, and you know, I'll just
- 9:27Speaker 6: open the windows instead of it's just remotely cool outside.
- 9:30Speaker 6: There's just something about the fake smell of it that
- 9:32Speaker 6: bothers me. So I wait until it's like in the
- 9:35Speaker 6: high eighties to relax and comfort like a modern man.
- 9:38Speaker 6: That's just what works for me.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Hey, there we go, and Randy, we do thank you
- 9:42Speaker 2: for leaving us that voice memo. Angie, what temp do
- 9:47Speaker 2: you say?
- 9:47Speaker 1: You know what? The AC is coming on? I can't
- 9:51Speaker 1: take this no more.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Gosh like sixty.
- 9:54Speaker 1: That's insane, that's insane. It's insane.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Hi, Okay, I'm someone who overheats.
- 10:02Speaker 4: I overheat, and so if it's like sixty eight degrees
- 10:06Speaker 4: and then there's me and other bodies in the living room,
- 10:11Speaker 4: I'm already hot. I'm sweating, and I don't know if
- 10:13Speaker 4: it's because I have a lot of like hair and
- 10:15Speaker 4: I'm well insulated.
- 10:16Speaker 3: I don't know how the issue is.
- 10:18Speaker 4: But I am always that is wonderful, always overheating.
- 10:23Speaker 3: So I mean the AC being on in my house, no,
- 10:28Speaker 3: because I don't like bugs.
- 10:30Speaker 4: I get worried about bugs.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I'm not that's why it's hot in there when it's
- 10:35Speaker 2: sixty eight.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Well, yeah, I'm not. I don't want bugs to get
- 10:39Speaker 3: in the house.
- 10:40Speaker 4: I don't hate them as much as my kids, like
- 10:42Speaker 4: they freak out at any sign, especially Liam, the nine
- 10:45Speaker 4: year old, at any sign.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Of a little it could be a teeny deeny fly.
- 10:49Speaker 3: He like freaks out.
- 10:50Speaker 4: So it's like, no, we just have to have the
- 10:52Speaker 4: AC on and I turn I open the windows, like
- 10:55Speaker 4: for some ventilation when the kids are at school or whatever.
- 10:59Speaker 4: But in general, like the AC been on. This man
- 11:02Speaker 4: is crazy, not that he asked me, but never invite
- 11:04Speaker 4: me over, Like what's that meme about? Don't invite me
- 11:08Speaker 4: to your terrarium. What do you mean that you don't
- 11:10Speaker 4: have the AC on it? That is crazy to me,
- 11:14Speaker 4: but I do. I am aware that maybe it is
- 11:16Speaker 4: ridiculous that I have had the AC on for so
- 11:18Speaker 4: long since March. Yeah, I feel like, Gabe, you're probably
- 11:22Speaker 4: more normal in that sense.
- 11:25Speaker 3: When do you turn on the AC?
- 11:27Speaker 2: I would say, if I had to wager a guess,
- 11:30Speaker 2: I would say somewhere between seven, well, anything obviously above.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Write at about seventy six, I think is when we
- 11:37Speaker 2: start to get warm.
- 11:39Speaker 5: Six.
- 11:40Speaker 2: If it's seventy three seventy four, I think, you know,
- 11:43Speaker 2: we can normally manage the couple of hours where it
- 11:46Speaker 2: might be not super cold in the house from like
- 11:50Speaker 2: five to seven, but then after that the sun's going
- 11:53Speaker 2: down and it's not that hot anyway. But yeah, i'd
- 11:55Speaker 2: say mid mid seventies.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Which that's the worst thing I've ever heard.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Well.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Part of the reason that we we turned our AC
- 12:03Speaker 2: on for the first time on Sunday this year because
- 12:07Speaker 2: because you and your kiddos were coming over and you know,
- 12:09Speaker 2: it did get a little bit hot.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Cory and I were cleaning, and when you're moving around, you.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Know, you're just creating exactly yeah, So we were cleaning
- 12:16Speaker 2: and then we had just the windows open. We were
- 12:18Speaker 2: sitting around is like one thirty two because you were
- 12:20Speaker 2: coming over at three, Yeah, and the eye broke. I
- 12:23Speaker 2: was like, honey, I'm shutting the way I'm turning the ace.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Wow.
- 12:27Speaker 3: So you waited till Memorial Day weekend.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I made it all the way till May twenty six.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I don't know if that says more about me or
- 12:35Speaker 2: the fact what the weather has been like as of late.
- 12:37Speaker 3: That's actually Mother Nature's fault.
- 12:39Speaker 1: She's right forever.
- 12:40Speaker 2: All right, let us know seven oh one two eight
- 12:42Speaker 2: zero one nine eight seven. We'll have this coming up
- 12:44Speaker 2: in about five minutes or so. Here At what temperature
- 12:47Speaker 2: do you finally turn the AC on in the house?
- 12:49Speaker 2: This is up on Facebook. We'll get to your responses
- 12:52Speaker 2: next on Big ninety eight point seven about so, what
- 13:00Speaker 2: temperature do you decide? You know, what I need to
- 13:03Speaker 2: finally turn the AC on. We had Randy who left
- 13:05Speaker 2: us a voice memo earlier talking about how he waits
- 13:08Speaker 2: as long as possible because he doesn't like it, doesn't
- 13:10Speaker 2: like the smell, or else doesn't like the fake kind
- 13:13Speaker 2: of ac. And it's kind of funny because my grandmother
- 13:17Speaker 2: would be the exact opposite of a human. When my
- 13:19Speaker 2: grandmother was alive, she went from an AC house, to
- 13:23Speaker 2: an air conditioned garage, to an air conditioned car, to
- 13:27Speaker 2: whatever building that had AC going. She was just sucking
- 13:30Speaker 2: in ac all day. She loved some AC. And my
- 13:34Speaker 2: mother's the exact opposite. She loves sitting out on her
- 13:37Speaker 2: porch with the windows open and things like that.
- 13:40Speaker 1: So what number was that for you, Angie? Yours is
- 13:42Speaker 1: pretty low.
- 13:43Speaker 3: I'm sixty eight, sixty eight. It's sixty eight degrees outside.
- 13:46Speaker 4: The AC is on, and honestly, whenever it hit sixty
- 13:50Speaker 4: eight for the first time, I just never changed it
- 13:54Speaker 4: after that, so like, even if it got colder, it
- 13:56Speaker 4: was just like, no, it's just set and that's it.
- 13:59Speaker 4: And we did put this up on the big ninety
- 14:01Speaker 4: eight point seven Facebook page. And I love Jen because
- 14:04Speaker 4: Jen said, I'm a weenie and want the AC when
- 14:07Speaker 4: it's sixty seven outside, Well call us weenie twins, Jen,
- 14:11Speaker 4: because I'm right there with you.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Good for her.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Hannah said, whatever it was yesterday, That's exactly what it
- 14:18Speaker 2: was for me when I turned it on. Whatever it
- 14:20Speaker 2: was yesterday. And I appreciate this from Ali. Once I'm
- 14:25Speaker 2: no longer comfortable with the windows open and the fan going,
- 14:27Speaker 2: that's great, that's wonderful.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Doesn't really answer my question, though.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I was looking for a temperature, you know, because what
- 14:33Speaker 2: if you're uncomfortable at eighty five or sixty five?
- 14:36Speaker 1: I mean that's a big difference.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Right, That is a big difference, you.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Know what I mean? Uh renee January?
- 14:42Speaker 3: Okay, I like that, Yeah, January, that makes sense to me.
- 14:45Speaker 1: That's also a lie.
- 14:47Speaker 4: No, I feel like at some point I have mine
- 14:49Speaker 4: non in January.
- 14:50Speaker 2: No, there's no chance, no chance you're turning your AC
- 14:54Speaker 2: on one of its five degrees outside.
- 14:56Speaker 3: I mean there's zero chance.
- 15:00Speaker 4: And I said, when it gets above eighty five in
- 15:02Speaker 4: my house, oh, my husband would like it to be sooner. Yes, husband,
- 15:06Speaker 4: I'm with the husband. What do you mean eighty five?
- 15:09Speaker 2: And then I like this from Tiffany. My dogs get
- 15:12Speaker 2: uncomfortable over seventy, so usually seventy one seventy two.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I think that's nice.
- 15:16Speaker 2: You're keeping the doggies involved, or the I guess pet cats.
- 15:20Speaker 1: It could be whatever.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Here's what I always say about the AC because the kids.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Are different than I am, and they're like it's cold,
- 15:27Speaker 4: turn on the heat. Absolutely not, because you can always
- 15:30Speaker 4: layer on more to get warm. There's only so much
- 15:34Speaker 4: clothes I can take off before it gets real inappropriate,
- 15:37Speaker 4: and then you'll really be mad.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Yeah, you think you're uncomfortable now, right, So mom's walking
- 15:40Speaker 2: around with nothing on?
- 15:44Speaker 5: In the world of rules in gray areas, one morning
- 15:47Speaker 5: show dares to ask the hard questions.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Is it illegal for a child to wear that much makeup?
- 15:52Speaker 1: Is it legal?
- 15:53Speaker 4: I understand, I understand it's funny as all get out,
- 15:55Speaker 4: but is it even legal on Big ninety eight point seven?
- 16:00Speaker 2: Now, this might make people a little nervous if they
- 16:03Speaker 2: see a car in a parking lot. All right, picture this.
- 16:06Speaker 2: It's ninety two degrees out like today. You walk by
- 16:08Speaker 2: a car and you see a baby or a dog
- 16:11Speaker 2: fitting inside, and your first thought is, well, time to
- 16:14Speaker 2: go full action movie and break the window.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I'd be well in North Dakota. Is that legal?
- 16:20Speaker 2: And it's sort of a gray area now it should
- 16:23Speaker 2: go without saying. If there is a baby who you
- 16:26Speaker 2: have recognized has been in this car for a minute,
- 16:28Speaker 2: just break the damn window and deal with it later.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Okay, get a baby, a dog, yeah, dog, Yeah, just
- 16:33Speaker 4: break it, but it is kind of a gray area
- 16:36Speaker 4: here in North Dakota.
- 16:37Speaker 2: North Dakota doesn't have a specific law protecting you if
- 16:40Speaker 2: you smash the window trying to rescue a child or pet,
- 16:44Speaker 2: So even if your intentions are good, you may not
- 16:47Speaker 2: legally be protected from damage claims. Officials recommend calling the
- 16:53Speaker 2: law enforcement first rather than going full hulk mode. And yes,
- 16:57Speaker 2: if you have been sitting there for just you know,
- 17:00Speaker 2: twenty thirty seconds and you notice this, you can wait
- 17:03Speaker 2: and maybe call the police and see what happens. But
- 17:05Speaker 2: don't just walk up and break the window right away.
- 17:08Speaker 2: There are maybe some steps you need to take. What
- 17:10Speaker 2: if you know this has been a long time. Let's
- 17:12Speaker 2: say you notice as you walk on into Walmart that
- 17:15Speaker 2: this dog or this kid is in this car and
- 17:17Speaker 2: it's really hot, all right, And you're like, well, I'm
- 17:19Speaker 2: gonna monitor that, and you're going in for a quick
- 17:21Speaker 2: errand and you run back out and it's still there.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Then you know, maybe you gotta do what you gotta do. Remember,
- 17:26Speaker 2: a hot car heats up really fast, and your savest
- 17:28Speaker 2: move is to call nine to one one right away.
- 17:30Speaker 2: But obviously I'm saving a kid, I'm gonna save the dog.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I would do both.
- 17:35Speaker 4: I would break I would call nine one one and
- 17:36Speaker 4: I'd break the window, and like, better safe than sorry.
- 17:40Speaker 4: And if at the end of the day I have
- 17:42Speaker 4: a wrap sheet and when someone looks it up, it's
- 17:44Speaker 4: because I saved someone from a hot car.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Like that's like the coolest reason to have a.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Mug shot, greatest story to bring up at a party.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Oh remember that time I got arrested for breaking that window?
- 17:53Speaker 2: Oh why'd you do that?
- 17:55Speaker 1: To save it? Say?
- 17:56Speaker 2: Baby, yeah, yeah, it is going to be a warm
- 18:01Speaker 2: one today. And this is one of Angie's favorite times
- 18:05Speaker 2: of the year.
- 18:06Speaker 4: That's right, it's houchie daddy short season. Hi, hi, Hi,
- 18:15Speaker 4: you in a tary short Come here, tiny short.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I'm like that. Hey, check your daddy.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Yes, you ain't not gonna hoochie daddy?
- 18:29Speaker 1: How you hold your daddy to keep calling daddy?
- 18:33Speaker 5: Hoy you?
- 18:33Speaker 3: Hey, you hold your daddy.
- 18:35Speaker 1: You ain't not gonna hoot your daddy?
- 18:36Speaker 5: How you How you.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Hope your dad to keep calling me?
- 18:39Speaker 5: HOI daddy? Hey you? Hey?
- 18:41Speaker 1: All right, Angie, what do you love about the best
- 18:43Speaker 1: time of the year.
- 18:43Speaker 4: That's the best time of year because it's hoochie Daddy
- 18:47Speaker 4: short season, and if it were up to me, all
- 18:49Speaker 4: the men would be wearing shorts as short as Tom
- 18:53Speaker 4: Selleck had when.
- 18:54Speaker 3: He was Magnum p I.
- 18:55Speaker 1: For those of us who don't know, can you give
- 18:57Speaker 1: it maybe a visual?
- 18:58Speaker 4: I mean the shortest short so you could possibly think
- 19:01Speaker 4: of if you watched the James Bond movie with Daniel
- 19:04Speaker 4: Craig and he comes out of the water wearing those
- 19:06Speaker 4: little tiny blue trunks.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Of course you remember that.
- 19:10Speaker 4: Okay, Well, yeah, that's how short the shorts should be. However,
- 19:14Speaker 4: not every man is comfortable, and I get that, but
- 19:17Speaker 4: I fully think that it is a slap in the
- 19:20Speaker 4: face to mother Nature for her to have the weather
- 19:24Speaker 4: be like this and men try to cover up the
- 19:27Speaker 4: thigh meet. No, you should be wearing hoochie daddy shorts.
- 19:32Speaker 4: In fact, Gabe, I'm disappointed. You should have come in
- 19:35Speaker 4: here wearing Hoochi daddy shorts.
- 19:37Speaker 1: You know I didn't.
- 19:38Speaker 2: I did put some on this morning, and then I
- 19:40Speaker 2: was like, it's kind of this is like that weird
- 19:42Speaker 2: time of the year when you get up and you
- 19:44Speaker 2: leave for work. At least when we do, it's like
- 19:46Speaker 2: fifty something degrees.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Only that's a little.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Bit cold, but by the time I leave today, I
- 19:51Speaker 2: will have regretted that.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Choice, see exactly.
- 19:54Speaker 4: So I was actually at Shiels yesterday with Mikey. He
- 19:58Speaker 4: was looking for swim trunks, and they have different lengths
- 20:02Speaker 4: for the swim trunks, and it's seven inch in seam
- 20:05Speaker 4: five point five inch four inch For me, I was
- 20:08Speaker 4: like four inches the way to go. He didn't feel
- 20:10Speaker 4: all the way comfortable, so he's like a five point
- 20:12Speaker 4: five The seven inch not on the table. Okay, And
- 20:16Speaker 4: I'm talking about shorts length. By the way, if you're
- 20:19Speaker 4: just checking.
- 20:20Speaker 1: In, thank you for clarifying that.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Yeah, shorts length for hoochie daddy short season. I encourage
- 20:26Speaker 4: all men to wear some shorty shorts now that the
- 20:30Speaker 4: weather has turned. If we go to Happy Harry's Ripped
- 20:33Speaker 4: Us next week and there are hoochie Daddy shorts abounding,
- 20:37Speaker 4: I will be very upset.
- 20:39Speaker 2: This is our This would be the dude version of
- 20:41Speaker 2: like ladies who wear like short cheeky shorts kind of.
- 20:43Speaker 4: Right, yeah, are like you know men love sun dress season,
- 20:47Speaker 4: right sure?
- 20:47Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 20:48Speaker 3: Okay, Well I love a houcie daddy.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Short, okay, And I will say part of the other
- 20:54Speaker 2: reason I didn't go with the Houcie Daddy shorts is.
- 20:56Speaker 2: I had kind of assumed this is for any other
- 20:59Speaker 2: man on Earth. I kind of guess you'd prefer I'm
- 21:02Speaker 2: just in here in like overalls all summer.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I need some good.
- 21:11Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 21:15Speaker 5: good news on Big ninety eight point seven, a.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Sixth grader from Hankinson is proving you're never too young
- 21:23Speaker 2: to make a big difference. If you don't know where
- 21:25Speaker 2: Hankinson and Hankinson is, it's quite literally like one hour
- 21:28Speaker 2: south on I twenty nine, just down the road.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Okay, all right.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Hudson Gronky created an invention called the Bolus Buddy. It's
- 21:39Speaker 2: a device that helps people with diabetes safely handle insulin
- 21:43Speaker 2: vials and syringes without dropping them or accidentally poking themselves.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Hudson he got the idea after seeing his dad struggle
- 21:51Speaker 2: while helping with his insulin pump using a three D
- 21:55Speaker 2: printer his family got around Christmas. Hudson Research designed and
- 21:59Speaker 2: built this device mostly on his own, with very very
- 22:02Speaker 2: limited help from anyone else.
- 22:04Speaker 4: And he's only in sixth grade, that's right, Oh my gosh.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Hudson lives with diabetes himself and says managing it is
- 22:12Speaker 2: a full time job. But instead of getting discouraged, he
- 22:15Speaker 2: turned his experience into something that could help others. Outside
- 22:20Speaker 2: of inventing, Hudson, he enjoys playing basketball, building with legos,
- 22:24Speaker 2: and watching television and he helps others understand that diabetes
- 22:27Speaker 2: requires constant attention and care. And the best part might
- 22:31Speaker 2: be what his dad said. He said, Hudson, he is
- 22:34Speaker 2: truly my hero. So congratulations to this young man. How
- 22:38Speaker 2: cool is that they also were talking about at the
- 22:41Speaker 2: diabetes run that they had seen other people kind of
- 22:44Speaker 2: using similar devices, which was kind of cool.
- 22:47Speaker 1: That he's on the right track with this thing, and
- 22:49Speaker 1: he love that.
- 22:50Speaker 2: I think he wants to try to build him so
- 22:52Speaker 2: they can maybe fit different size syringes and things like that.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Tool so very very cool and awesome to see three
- 22:59Speaker 2: D printers. Man, if you have an imagination, three D
- 23:03Speaker 2: printer can really make a lot of things possible.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Very very cool. Well, you know my.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Favorite quote, if you don't hear it, is broken crans.
- 23:09Speaker 2: They still color and the world is full of nice people.
- 23:11Speaker 2: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
