Speaker 1: job of making us question if it's possible for inhuman

Speaker 1: monsters to maintain their humanity, as well as innocent children

Speaker 1: becoming hateful warlords. It makes us think heavily about the

Speaker 1: concept of hatred and shows us the com and phrase

Speaker 1: the term villain doesn't stick to anyone. If I were

Speaker 1: he began the endless cycle of violence. But it's because

Speaker 1: of heroes, as every single one of the antagonists, at

Speaker 1: some point through another willingly plays their part in trying

Speaker 1: to end the cycle of violence. Even Zeke Jeger, who

Speaker 1: during the second and third seasons was consistently shown doing

Speaker 1: horrible acts against humanity in turning humans into Titans to

Speaker 1: use them as weapons against his enemy, But even he

Speaker 1: had a grander dream, and it was his own selfless

Speaker 1: sacrifice that managed to bring the founding Titan down. By

Speaker 1: the end, we're shown that those who were once considered

Speaker 1: heroes and villains are now sitting under the same roof,

Speaker 1: attempting to foster the piece they had thought such hardship earned.

Speaker 1: Even Erin Yeager, who had gone to the point of villainy,

Speaker 1: Aaron Yeager and Mikasa Akerman are two children who live

Speaker 1: a simple life. Mikasa is adopted by Aaron's father, doctor

Speaker 1: Grisha Yeger, the man who saved the town from an

Speaker 1: epidemic in the years prior. Erin dreams of joining the

Speaker 1: Survey Corps in hopes he can go beyond the walls

Speaker 1: and explorer. However, the Survey Corps, also known as the

Speaker 1: Scout Regiment, returns home from their most recent outing, decimated.

Speaker 1: the walls. But Erin isn't content with life within the walls.

Speaker 1: within walls makes them no different than cattle. Grisha hears

Speaker 1: how adamant Erin is about this and thinks it would

Speaker 1: be a waste of time to scold him on it,

Speaker 1: returns from a business trip. However, this doesn't happen because

Speaker 1: at around the time Grisha leaves, a loud explosion is heard,

Speaker 1: and a massive titan so large that the world has

Speaker 1: never seen anything like it before, is found towering over

Speaker 1: the walls. With a swift kick of its colossal foot,

Speaker 1: it kicks the gate in and allows the Titans through.

Speaker 1: This colossal titan then disappears as quickly as it appeared.

Speaker 1: Aaron and Mikassa rush home, only to find their mother

Speaker 1: crushed under the collapsed home. They attempt to get her out,

Speaker 1: but a smiling Titan spots them and prepares to attack

Speaker 1: the garrison. Regiment's harness rushes to their rescue and says

Speaker 1: he'll just kill the titan. However, upon truly seeing it,

Speaker 1: all of that bluster turns to hot air and he

Speaker 1: rushes back, leaving Carla to die, saving only Erin and Mikasa.

Speaker 1: This moment scars Erin forever and causes him to vow

Speaker 1: to kill every Titan in the world. Just as they

Speaker 1: board a ship to Wall Rose, the second of three walls,

Speaker 1: another Titan, the one covered in thick armor, crashes through

Speaker 1: the second gate, completely compromising the area within Wall Maria.

Speaker 1: Upon getting to Wall Rose, they meet up with Arman Arlelt,

Speaker 1: a friend of theirs who also wishes to see what's

Speaker 1: beyond the walls. Together, they live in a refugee camp,

Speaker 1: where he sees that the citizens of Wall Rose aren't

Speaker 1: as happy about their presence as it seems. It's revealed

Speaker 1: that with the way the walls are formed, that Wallrose

Speaker 1: and Sina simply cannot sustain themselves and the citizens of

Speaker 1: Wall Maria without starving, and so an expedition to retake

Speaker 1: Wall Maria is formed of regular citizens, which is no

Speaker 1: more than a suicide mission to either retake Wall Maria

Speaker 1: or die. Due to the lack of food, everyone involved dies,

Speaker 1: including Armand's grandfather who is his last living relative. All

Speaker 1: should by this time. Along the way, we meet various characters,

Speaker 1: But the longer he tries, the better he gets. And

Speaker 1: when he can hold himself up for a relatively long time,

Speaker 1: he falls again. He thinks he'll be sent home, But

Speaker 1: it turns out Keith Shaddus has been sabotaging Erin as

Speaker 1: a favor to his late mother, who just so happens

Speaker 1: to be an old flame of his. He was impressed

Speaker 1: how well Erin was doing without an integral part of

Speaker 1: his belt that would ensure that he keep his balance.

Speaker 1: With a proper belt, Erin proved to be better at

Speaker 1: using ODM gear than any end all of them. It's

Speaker 1: join the Scout Corps, which is the one thing nobody

Speaker 1: the military police would be Annie. From here, the recruits

Speaker 1: begin to do their duty at trust they're just having

Speaker 1: casual conversation, with Sasha being the one who steals some

Speaker 1: meat from the commander's storehouse where she plans to make sandwiches.

Speaker 1: All seems to be going good until a familiar lightning

Speaker 1: bolt strikes outside of the walls. Aaron leads the counter

Speaker 1: attack against the Colossal Titan, but the colossal releases its

Speaker 1: steam to push him back. By the time he pushes through,

Speaker 1: the Colossal is gone. Aaron had hoped to stop it,

Speaker 1: but by this time it's already too late. The wall

Speaker 1: was kicked in and titans start to pour through. They

Speaker 1: rush to stop the titans, but Aaron loses an arm

Speaker 1: and a leg in the ordeal, getting eaten in Armin's

Speaker 1: place as the rest of their squad is decimated by

Speaker 1: the hungry hungry hippos, armand just sits there squealing like

Speaker 1: a Show Joe anime pro tag. As Aaron is eaten,

Speaker 1: Aaron wakes up inside of the titan, where he finds

Speaker 1: he's not alone. There are dead people floating in the

Speaker 1: stomach acid, and there's at least one other who's alive

Speaker 1: like him, begging not to die before their head goes

Speaker 1: below the surface, presumably drowning. In a moment of terror,

Speaker 1: Aarin transforms into a Titan himself, coming out through the

Speaker 1: titan's mouth. Meanwhile, Mikassa and her group are running out

Speaker 1: of gas. They need to resupply, but the bass has

Speaker 1: titans surrounding it. That's when Mikasa finds Armin and here's

Speaker 1: Erin is dead. She does well hiding it, but her

Speaker 1: three D maneuvering is very angry, and she uses up

Speaker 1: all of her gas, smashing into a wall like a

Speaker 1: bug on a windshield, and then falling to the ground,

Speaker 1: where she's surrounded by two Titans. To her surprise, though

Speaker 1: one of the titans attacks the other end kills it

Speaker 1: and then leaves her behind. Seeing the anger of this titan,

Speaker 1: Arman comes up with a plan to use this titan

Speaker 1: to take out the other Titans around the base. This

Speaker 1: actually goes swimmingly and they get into the outpost. However,

Speaker 1: there is a new problem. Smaller Titans are now inside

Speaker 1: the outpost in the supply room, so Arman makes a

Speaker 1: new plan which involves lowering scouts down an elevator to
9:50
Speaker 1: be bait. They will then pull their muskets and shoot

Speaker 1: the titans in the eyes, while group two in the
9:54
Speaker 1: rafters will come down and slice the nape of the neck.

Speaker 1: This also works, and they do get refueled the outposts.

Speaker 1: They see the new Titan collapse from exhaustion. However, this

Speaker 1: is no mere titan. As it begins to decay, they

Speaker 1: see a person coming out of the nape. Mikassa rushes

Speaker 1: down to him and is utterly ecstatic that he's still alive.

Speaker 1: She cries out in happiness and relief. Together, they escape

Speaker 1: deeper into wall rows, where they're surrounded by more scouts

Speaker 1: who hold them at gunpoint. It turns out they're terrified

Speaker 1: of Erin, thinking he's an enemy to mankind, and Erin,

Speaker 1: in his drunken days from his first Titan transformation, seemingly

Speaker 1: confirms this by saying I'll kill them all He meant Titans,

Speaker 1: but then again saying that without context after turning into

Speaker 1: the biggest thing humanity fears, just doesn't look good. They

Speaker 1: try to shoot a cannonball at them, but Aaron catches

Speaker 1: at midair with his Titan hand, which only makes things worse.

Speaker 1: But Mikassa and Aaron decide to trust Armand to talk

Speaker 1: them out of it. Funny enough, Armand fails, but he

Speaker 1: gets lucky because Garrison Regiment commander Dot Pixis shows up

Speaker 1: and stops them from firing. He then takes them aside

Speaker 1: and begins to ask if what Armand said was true,

Speaker 1: could they use Erin's new powers as a way to

Speaker 1: retake tru Armand states it was true, they could use

Speaker 1: Aerin to lift the boulder near the wall to close

Speaker 1: the hole in it, and they begin to do so.

Speaker 1: A group of Scouts will stand at the wall to

Speaker 1: lure the Titans in to thin out the group closest

Speaker 1: to the wall. Aaron jumps down there and transforms, but

Speaker 1: instead of lifting the rock, it attempts to punch me

Speaker 1: Casa and knocks its marbles. Louice armand gets on top

Speaker 1: and tries to salvage the mission by waking Aaron up.

Speaker 1: Aaron manages to come to his senses and pick up

Speaker 1: the rock. They protect him as he places the rock

Speaker 1: and seals the inside of the town. Tuckered out, they

Speaker 1: start to retreat back to Wall Rose, but are surrounded.

Speaker 1: Good thing, Levi just got to town. Levi dispatches the

Speaker 1: Titans in a way only Levi could, and they bring

Speaker 1: them back to the wall. The Scouts managed to exterminate

Speaker 1: all of the Titans, and then they begin to count

Speaker 1: the bodies. They find Marco Bot. You probably didn't even

Speaker 1: know he existed until after he was dead. I didn't

Speaker 1: know him until that at least. He's been bitten in

Speaker 1: half the long way, and he's then identified by Jean.

Speaker 1: Aaron ends up in prison, though, where he will face

Speaker 1: a military tribunal where the heads of the military, particularly

Speaker 1: Commander in Chief Zachary will decide whether he's a threat

Speaker 1: Levi's squad nearly decapitates Erin on the spot, but Levi

Speaker 1: stops them. Aaron is hurt that they don't trust him,

Speaker 1: but later they apologize and to show their true intents

Speaker 1: to understand him, they bite their own hands to draw

Speaker 1: blood like Aaron has to do. Erin also sits through

Speaker 1: a six hour lecture by Hanji on the Titans. They

Speaker 1: managed to capture two Titans that Hanji names Sonni and Bean.

Speaker 1: She asks Erin to be her assistant in studying these creatures. However,

Speaker 1: during the night, somebody sneaks in and kills the two Titans.

Speaker 1: At this time, Erwin Smith, the new head of the

Speaker 1: Scout regiment, approaches Erin and asks who he thinks the

Speaker 1: real enemy is. When Erin is confused, Smith dismisses it.

Speaker 1: They have an investigation and who might have done it,

Speaker 1: but the findings are inconclusive. After this, Aaron catches up

Speaker 1: with his old squad as they prepare for the next expedition.

Speaker 1: They set off on the expedition, but they're attacked by

Speaker 1: a new strange titan, the one that is simply known

Speaker 1: as the female Titan. Due to its abnormally effeminate appearance,

Speaker 1: this thing ignores most humans, though it targets others, but

Speaker 1: only those with their hoods down. It's revealed that this

Speaker 1: titan is also sentient, much like Erin, and thus must

Speaker 1: also be a human who can turn into a Titan.

Speaker 1: After nearly killing Reiner, it heads off towards the center,

Speaker 1: where Erin is believed to be. However, they lead it

Speaker 1: into a trap and capture it, but before it can

Speaker 1: do anything, it calls Titans with its scream and allows

Speaker 1: the other Titans to eat it. Irwin Smith knows that

Speaker 1: this was a tactic so that the shifter inside could escape.

Speaker 1: The female Titan reappears and resumes it. It's chase on Erin,

Speaker 1: in which Levi squad decides to defend him, but Levi's

Speaker 1: squad is exterminated, with only Erin, Levi and Hanji surviving

Speaker 1: only because the latter two weren't nearby. Aaron shifts into

Speaker 1: his Titan form as well, but seemingly is no match

Speaker 1: for this titan that knows karate and gets his head

Speaker 1: taken off. Erin is seemingly eaten, but Levi thinks it's

Speaker 1: not true. When they give chase, Mikassa is very emotional

Speaker 1: and thus reckless. However, when Levi helps her center herself,

Speaker 1: they manage to stop the Titan and free Erin. They

Speaker 1: escape from the Titans by leaving the bodies of their

Speaker 1: comrades behind, which they normally never do if they can

Speaker 1: help it, but given that the Titans were catching up,

Speaker 1: it was the only way, they return in shame to Troust,

Speaker 1: where Erin is then captured and sent to Walcina the

Speaker 1: Innermost Wall. However, this is an elaborate ruse to get

Speaker 1: the female Titan to reveal itself. Due to Armand's big

Speaker 1: brain moments, they deduce that the female Titan is likely

Speaker 1: Annie Leyonheart, so they plan to lead her underground where

Speaker 1: she can't shift if it's true, and they plan to

Speaker 1: interrogate her to see Armand calls in a favor to

Speaker 1: Annie to get her to help risk Erin before he's killed,

Speaker 1: but it turns out that this was a trap, and

Speaker 1: as soon as she sees them trying to take her underground,

Speaker 1: she knows the jig is up. She refuses to go down,

Speaker 1: and the scouts take action to keep her from transforming,

Speaker 1: but she had a ring with a hook in it,

Speaker 1: and she uses that to draw blood so she can

Speaker 1: transform into a Titan. She tries to get Erin, but

Speaker 1: she crushes him under rubble instead. He doesn't transform, and

Speaker 1: Micassa surmises that it's because he liked Annie and he

Speaker 1: couldn't transform because he didn't have the will to fight.

Speaker 1: Annie attempts to flee, but She's held down by the

Speaker 1: Scouts until Erin gets over his emotions and manages to transform.

Speaker 1: He rushes out to get her, but he's still outclassed.

Speaker 1: He's put on the ground by Annie, but his rage

Speaker 1: sends his regeneration into overdrive and he goes berserk, turning

Speaker 1: into a flaming madman, and manages to wound her. She

Speaker 1: tries to escape the wall by climbing it, but Mikassa

Speaker 1: saws off her fingers and lets her fall. Erin attempts

Speaker 1: to pull her out and eat her, but is stopped

Speaker 1: by Levi. Annie then coats herself in crystal and goes

Speaker 1: to sleep until season four. After this, Irwin Smith is

Speaker 1: asked to take responsibility for all the civilians killed during

Speaker 1: this operation. Responses basically, I got it done, and I'm

Speaker 1: the other dumb Titans. Meanwhile, Aaron stays with the Scout regiment,
