- 0:00Speaker 1: It's a foggy start to our Thursday fog going across
- 0:02Speaker 1: the full of Warren Bridge at least.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Oh, it is thick, so be careful out there.
- 0:06Speaker 1: It's froggy John and Meghan. Froggy will be back tomorrow.
- 0:09Speaker 1: And it's just John and Meghan doing the thing today.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Any idea, any plans on what you're going to do today?
- 0:14Speaker 3: Mag Yesterday I did yoga and I had to pass.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I passed one of my tests for my master's degree.
- 0:22Speaker 4: Oh wonderful.
- 0:22Speaker 3: So today I'm not doing anything good free here, Like
- 0:25Speaker 3: I might go on a walk, but that's it. I'm
- 0:27Speaker 3: I'm burnout.
- 0:28Speaker 2: That was too much for answer today.
- 0:29Speaker 1: So the yoga was it's funny to hear somebody who's
- 0:31Speaker 1: doing actual yoga because now normally it's like goat yoga
- 0:34Speaker 1: or robot yoga or something. Yeah, so you were just
- 0:37Speaker 1: doing your normal yoga stuff, yes.
- 0:39Speaker 2: But it was at the rock climbing gym I just joined.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Yeah, so you can do a free yoga class once
- 0:44Speaker 3: a week, and so it was pretty intense. Those rock
- 0:47Speaker 3: climbers they're no joke, like they're fit, yeah, and I
- 0:51Speaker 3: am not.
- 0:53Speaker 1: That's when you learn you're not fit. I remember when
- 0:55Speaker 1: I first day I went up for football. First day
- 0:57Speaker 1: I wanted for football. I mean, I was in great shape,
- 1:00Speaker 1: or so I thought. And then after that first day
- 1:02Speaker 1: of calisthenics in football practice, I got up the next
- 1:05Speaker 1: morning going, oh my gosh, I was not as fit
- 1:08Speaker 1: as I thought.
- 1:09Speaker 3: I know, I haven't shaken like that in yoga for years,
- 1:12Speaker 3: but I was so sore and they're moving so fast.
- 1:15Speaker 3: I'm like, wow, you climbers, like you're really really fit.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I had the big double play yesterday. I got a
- 1:23Speaker 1: home depot and public strip really same time.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Very good?
- 1:27Speaker 2: Did you find any goodies?
- 1:28Speaker 1: Found out what I was looking for at home depot?
- 1:30Speaker 1: So that was whitch out without asking Oh strong, look
- 1:34Speaker 1: at you strong, Wow, you're the guy. You're the guy
- 1:37Speaker 1: in there exactly.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I'm surprised someone didn't ask you what I find.
- 1:40Speaker 4: I was about to say, get me an orange vest
- 1:42Speaker 4: and off we go. Let's get in the making. Three things.
- 1:45Speaker 3: See what up Saint Augustine at Celtic Music and Heritage Festival.
- 1:49Speaker 3: It's up for a USA Today's Top ten for Best
- 1:53Speaker 3: Cultural Festival.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Very cool. That's a cool festival.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's the Reader's Choice Awards.
- 1:58Speaker 3: So you can vote to help get it added to
- 2:02Speaker 3: the list now to March second, if you want to
- 2:04Speaker 3: go ahead in and help us get a little bit
- 2:06Speaker 3: of recognition.
- 2:07Speaker 2: The push to extend bar and Ours continues on as
- 2:11Speaker 2: of right now. Some areas are being improved to stay
- 2:13Speaker 2: open till three.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Am, and others could keep getting pushed from like two
- 2:19Speaker 3: or one to three, just depending on how things go.
- 2:22Speaker 2: They've sectioned things out.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Into like a North kore a South Core, these different areas,
- 2:28Speaker 3: and I guess the government is actually looking to Tampa
- 2:31Speaker 3: to see, how did you guys incorporate this so we
- 2:33Speaker 3: don't just open them all up and risk crime.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I just see that it's something brewing there where there's
- 2:39Speaker 1: something not good happening. Is that somebody's getting favored over
- 2:43Speaker 1: just another part of town. So yeah, it's something constitutional
- 2:46Speaker 1: about that, I think. But I guess maybe they can
- 2:48Speaker 1: do what they want to do.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Hopefully they will continue to open them up in the
- 2:51Speaker 3: waves like they want, But we're just gonna have to
- 2:53Speaker 3: wait and see.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I guess Air Force one's getting a makeover.
- 2:56Speaker 3: It's right now. The same design is when Kennedy in office.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Really yeah, so it looks really retro it's like.
- 3:02Speaker 4: A light baby blue, but it's not retro, it's just old.
- 3:05Speaker 2: It looks like the blue is just faded over time.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Yeah, So the administration has decided on red, white and blue.
- 3:12Speaker 3: And then there's this thin gold like pin stripe going
- 3:16Speaker 3: around it nice. So the bottom half of the plane
- 3:19Speaker 3: will be painted and then the underneath.
- 3:21Speaker 2: It looks really sleek. That's three things you need to know.
- 3:24Speaker 1: And we'd love to know why you up. We'd want
- 3:26Speaker 1: to hear from you. Call us at nine oh four,
- 3:28Speaker 1: three eight, eight thirty six ninety nine, be our first superstar
- 3:31Speaker 1: the day and tell us why you up? As we
- 3:33Speaker 1: check traffic, which is looking really good except for the fog.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Be k wq I K Good morning the Big Show
- 3:38Speaker 1: with Froggy John and Megan and Sharon.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Why are you up?
- 3:41Speaker 5: I headed to work?
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta be that adult.
- 3:47Speaker 4: At darn it gets in the way done it sometimes?
- 3:50Speaker 2: Hey?
- 3:51Speaker 4: Yeah? Where do you work?
- 3:53Speaker 2: I work for?
- 3:55Speaker 4: Is that funny?
- 3:56Speaker 1: Don't you know those marketing people when they when they
- 3:58Speaker 1: started Oceanway, don't you know they were trying to fool people?
- 4:02Speaker 1: How how far away is Oceanway from the ocean? A
- 4:05Speaker 1: long way?
- 4:06Speaker 4: Right?
- 4:06Speaker 5: No?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Not really we're not maybe fifteen minutes from the jetties,
- 4:10Speaker 1: so we're really not that far.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Oh you do right, you got the jet, you got
- 4:13Speaker 4: the jetties.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I always thought, man, I always thought growing up Ocean Way,
- 4:17Speaker 1: where the hell's the ocean? You know?
- 4:19Speaker 4: But yeah, we're like midway between Ewie were like class.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Fifteen minutes from the Georgia line, so we're out here.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I like it. Thank you for being our superstar, this monk.
- 4:30Speaker 3: I have been watching the replays from the ice skating
- 4:33Speaker 3: right so that I just have to watch the performance
- 4:35Speaker 3: and the results right, and I am just so blown
- 4:39Speaker 3: away by these athletes.
- 4:40Speaker 2: It is so beautiful what they do.
- 4:42Speaker 4: Did you see the star of the Winter Olympics yesterday? Though? No,
- 4:45Speaker 4: it was a dog?
- 4:47Speaker 2: A dog?
- 4:47Speaker 4: How's it going? It's the big show?

- 4:52Speaker 1: I K Froggy will be back tomorrow. Cross country skiing
- 4:56Speaker 1: was the event, but it certainly wasn't the star. A
- 5:00Speaker 1: dog came running out while the while they're doing their thing.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Oh my god, a dog ran under the course and
- 5:07Speaker 1: followed the two skiers across the finish line.
- 5:09Speaker 2: You know what kind of dog. They're saying it is
- 5:11Speaker 2: a wolf dog.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm about to say I got a picture right there.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that's what frog.
- 5:18Speaker 1: He needs to get a wolf dog. He's not gonna
- 5:20Speaker 1: get one of those. You need one of those, I think.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Wow.
- 5:23Speaker 1: So there it is, and they're going down the hill
- 5:25Speaker 1: and then the dog's just kind of coming after him.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Look at it, sniffing him, like, Hey, what's up?
- 5:31Speaker 3: That dog is an athlete. I know it his front
- 5:34Speaker 3: leg and his two front legs. I mean, he looks
- 5:36Speaker 3: like he is.
- 5:37Speaker 4: An Olympia didn't that funny?
- 5:39Speaker 2: Wow? This would have been a dream come true.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Yes, indeed, to be at the Olympics, your skiing, all
- 5:45Speaker 3: of a sudden a dog is just racing by you.
- 5:48Speaker 4: A wolf dog, a wolf dog at that.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, how did I not see this?
- 5:53Speaker 1: I know I thought that the first person I thought
- 5:54Speaker 1: of when I saw this. I gotta share this with
- 5:56Speaker 1: you to more.
- 5:57Speaker 2: My algorithm is seriously lacking on that. Wow, he owe
- 6:01Speaker 2: these other pictures. He's like prancing.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Megan's done, She's done for the day.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I'm just gonna be looking at it.

- 8:01Speaker 4: How's it going?
- 8:01Speaker 1: It's the Big Show, Froggy, John and Megan Any Country
- 8:04Speaker 1: ninety nine one w q I K Froggy's back tomorrow now.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Megan and I we talked about this. We've talked about
- 8:09Speaker 1: this in the past, that when you have a day off,
- 8:13Speaker 1: as we kind of had on Monday. Yeah, and anytime
- 8:16Speaker 1: like you come off Labor Day, you come off any
- 8:18Speaker 1: kind of Monday holiday, and for some reason, you should
- 8:24Speaker 1: be thinking when it's Tuesday, it feels like Monday. Wednesday
- 8:27Speaker 1: feels like Tuesday because you had the day off. Exactly
- 8:31Speaker 1: what happens. I know it happened to me, and now
- 8:33Speaker 1: I'm finding out it's happening to you. That we go
- 8:37Speaker 1: even faster the other way. When it's Wednesday, we feel
- 8:40Speaker 1: like it's Thursday on these short weeks.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Yeah, this morning, I are Florida Floridiot.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I was seriously expecting to hear the initial intro music
- 8:50Speaker 3: for Flora hero right because I was like, it's Friday,
- 8:53Speaker 3: Like John, h.
- 8:58Speaker 4: No, isn't that funny?
- 9:00Speaker 2: It is so weird?
- 9:01Speaker 4: Why do we do that? Why is our brain so
- 9:03Speaker 4: we need a cute name?
- 9:04Speaker 1: That's why we've learned anything from Tiktokah is that all
- 9:07Speaker 1: you gotta do is give a cute name to something
- 9:10Speaker 1: and it becomes a viral thing.
- 9:12Speaker 2: And I'm all about a cute nickname.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Well you what was the thing you've got me doing
- 9:15Speaker 4: stupid yesterday? The boot something? Oh new boot goofen See.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Yeah, John got new desert boots for his birthday and
- 9:23Speaker 3: he was showing them off and I was.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Like, oh, this is new boot. Good, it genuine ostrich.
- 9:28Speaker 1: If we wouldn't have had a name for it, it
- 9:30Speaker 1: would it's been me looking stupid in my shoes. But
- 9:34Speaker 1: we got a name, So we need a name for this,
- 9:36Speaker 1: and I can't come up with anything. So if you
- 9:38Speaker 1: can help us. You know, y'all are the smartest people
- 9:41Speaker 1: in the room as always nine oh four three eight
- 9:43Speaker 1: eight thirty six ninety nine. But if we get a
- 9:45Speaker 1: name for this, the reverse something or I can't come
- 9:49Speaker 1: up with something when it should be feels like Wednesday,
- 9:52Speaker 1: when we keep thinking it's Friday.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:54Speaker 1: All with Country ninety nine one wq I K The
- 9:59Speaker 1: Big Show with Froggie Jo and Meghan Froggy. He turns
- 10:01Speaker 1: Tomorrow we go down to South Florida. There's a man
- 10:04Speaker 1: named Dean and he noticed a landscaping van parked across
- 10:08Speaker 1: the street last week. He got out of his vehicle,
- 10:12Speaker 1: ran up to it, climbed in the back for right.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Don't know if he was trying to steal it. Don't
- 10:19Speaker 1: know if he was trying to steal equipment. And we
- 10:22Speaker 1: may never know because somehow he got locked inside.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Oh no, the.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Landscaper came back to lock the van before he started working.
- 10:29Speaker 1: He was just going back locking his stuff up before
- 10:31Speaker 1: he goes, well, the guy was in there. He didn't
- 10:34Speaker 1: know it. He just locked it up and did it.
- 10:36Speaker 1: And then the guy start screaming for help. The man
- 10:39Speaker 1: that was trying to steal something or the actual vehicle
- 10:42Speaker 1: was screaming for help, banging on the doors. Oh my gosh,
- 10:46Speaker 1: So someone call the police. They get the guy out there.
- 10:48Speaker 1: What are you doing here? He goes, Oh, I was
- 10:50Speaker 1: just handing out business cards and a dog scared me.
- 10:52Speaker 1: And it's all on videotape. No, none of the above appened.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Come up with a better story. Got three ninety nine
- 10:58Speaker 1: one WQIK. Good Morning, The Big Show with Froggie, John
- 11:02Speaker 1: and Megan. It's so good to be with you, Froggie.
- 11:04Speaker 1: We'll be back tomorrow. Hope you do it well. A
- 11:06Speaker 1: foggy start this morning.
- 11:08Speaker 3: It was so foggy I couldn't see the lights in
- 11:11Speaker 3: the city, the bridge when I was driving, Yeah, hardly
- 11:14Speaker 3: could see the other cars exactly.
- 11:16Speaker 4: So take it easy out there.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Looking at some of the cameras around here, looking at traffic,
- 11:20Speaker 1: it looks like that fog is still with us in certain.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Parts, So be careful out there. Looking for something to do.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Tonight, we got music coming to the Ponavidra Concert Hall,
- 11:29Speaker 1: a Thursday night throw down with a band that in
- 11:32Speaker 1: high school. Now I know, it's been a while for
- 11:35Speaker 1: me to be in high school. I went and saw
- 11:37Speaker 1: these guys. The first time I ever went to Disney
- 11:40Speaker 1: was for grad night, So I just never had any
- 11:43Speaker 1: need to go to Disney growing up, or when you know,
- 11:46Speaker 1: Disney opened, and so grad night I went and this
- 11:50Speaker 1: band was playing. I was so not into Disney. I
- 11:53Speaker 1: watched both of these guys show. It was like three
- 11:57Speaker 1: of the eight hours I was at Disney, I was
- 11:59Speaker 1: watching the Atlanta River section, and so I that's what
- 12:02Speaker 1: I think of my first trip to Disney was seeing
- 12:04Speaker 1: the Atlanta Rhythm Section. Well, they're still around and the
- 12:07Speaker 1: original Deat singer is still with them, and so you're
- 12:12Speaker 1: going to get to hear them tonight at the Ponderviter
- 12:14Speaker 1: Concert Hall.
- 12:15Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 12:15Speaker 1: So the Atlanta Rhythm Section, and they were, Man, they
- 12:18Speaker 1: were one of my favorites. I hope you're doing well.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Let's get three things to see what's going on in
- 12:23Speaker 1: your world.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Well, if you are into the Jacksonville nightlife, excuse me. Yeah,
- 12:31Speaker 3: they are trying to extend the hours for how late
- 12:35Speaker 3: bars can stay open, and as of right now, one
- 12:39Speaker 3: section like they've cut the area into these different sections
- 12:42Speaker 3: called North Core, South Core, West Core kind of thing.
- 12:46Speaker 3: They're starting off with the North Core area which is
- 12:49Speaker 3: Broad in main streets and State in church streets.
- 12:52Speaker 1: So they're talking about downtown is what they're talking cutting
- 12:55Speaker 1: this up up downtown.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Yeah, they'll be open until three am and then other
- 12:59Speaker 3: areas are kind of on the wait list to see
- 13:02Speaker 3: which how they're going to introduce these waves to be.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Able to scale. I guess they can. I guess they
- 13:07Speaker 4: can do as they see fit.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it's kind of interesting.
- 13:10Speaker 3: They said that they're looking at Tampa to see how
- 13:12Speaker 3: Tampa extended things.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Yeah, because they don't want to just open them all up.
- 13:16Speaker 2: They're worried about crime.
- 13:17Speaker 3: So yeah, Saint Augustine Celtic Music and Heritage Festival is
- 13:21Speaker 3: up for a US Today's Top ten list for best
- 13:24Speaker 3: Cultural Festival, and you can actually vote right now because
- 13:28Speaker 3: it's the Reader's Choice Awards all the way till March. Second,
- 13:31Speaker 3: if you want to see a local festival be highlighted nationally, I.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Just checked it out. There were number nine right now,
- 13:37Speaker 1: so we can we got to bump them up.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, we can't be that low on the list.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Get them up the ranker. That's a great festival.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Saint Augustine. That should be an automatic top three for real.
- 13:46Speaker 3: The Air Force one is getting makeover right now. It's
- 13:49Speaker 3: the same design is when Kennedy was in office, so
- 13:51Speaker 3: it's kind of retro looking, the baby like powder blue
- 13:55Speaker 3: color really yeah, and so now it's being swapped out
- 13:58Speaker 3: for a much more modern white and blue plus a
- 14:02Speaker 3: really pretty gold pinstripe wrapping around it.
- 14:05Speaker 5: So it's cool to say the three things you need
- 14:07Speaker 5: to know and we want to hear from you.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Callers nine and ten at nine oh four, three, eight,
- 14:11Speaker 1: eight thirty six ninety nine, would you like to go
- 14:13Speaker 1: to Universal Orlando? Well, the winner of the pop quiz
- 14:16Speaker 1: is going to get a par of tickets. Good luck
- 14:18Speaker 1: from Country ninety nine country Wide and Brandley Gilbert with you.
- 14:21Speaker 1: The Big Show Froggy, John and Meghan Froggy returns tomorrow.
- 14:24Speaker 1: The pop quiz is just a couple of minutes away.
- 14:26Speaker 1: That Megan, you were telling me last night you went
- 14:28Speaker 1: to yoga. Yes, I did, and it helps you you
- 14:32Speaker 1: feel physically better, mentally better, the whole thing.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, Because I had a long day at Universal
- 14:38Speaker 3: this past weekend and I'm not gonna lie. I still
- 14:41Speaker 3: had like my calves and my legs were still so
- 14:44Speaker 3: tight from that, right, completely fixed.
- 14:46Speaker 1: It just the stretching, And it's just stretching and the
- 14:49Speaker 1: poses you get in. Now here's the deal. If I
- 14:52Speaker 1: tried to get into some of those yoga poses, it
- 14:54Speaker 1: would take a fire department to come undo me.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Well, it was this one move that thought for sure
- 15:01Speaker 3: I was done for Yeah, where I had never done
- 15:05Speaker 3: this before, like in a class.
- 15:07Speaker 2: I had just done it. I guess to do.
- 15:09Speaker 3: It sometimes, sure, but you basically are on your back,
- 15:12Speaker 3: you roll back to your shoulders, you hold your lower
- 15:15Speaker 3: back with your hands.
- 15:16Speaker 5: Put your legs straight up in the air. You know
- 15:19Speaker 5: that sounds like me getting out of a couch, but
- 15:20Speaker 5: that's a different story.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:22Speaker 3: But instead of that, for momentum to get out of
- 15:24Speaker 3: the recliner, right, you're supposed to, I guess, go backwards.
- 15:27Speaker 2: But I was like, this is my first day. I
- 15:29Speaker 2: can't get stuck.
- 15:31Speaker 3: She was like, you can put if your legs touch
- 15:33Speaker 3: the ground, then you can stop.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Supporting your lower back. But I'm like, right, I'm gonna
- 15:39Speaker 2: break my neck.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Little help over.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Here in my legs. I look around in the class.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Everyone's like so still and looks like these perfect yogi statues,
- 15:48Speaker 3: and I'm shaking back and forth, and.
- 15:51Speaker 2: I'm like I can hear my breath, like.
- 15:53Speaker 4: You represent all of us when you're doing that.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Yeah. I had to stop and take a water break,
- 15:57Speaker 3: and she was like, you can take some water if
- 15:58Speaker 3: you want.
- 15:59Speaker 2: And I looked around. Nobody else was thirsty. It was
- 16:02Speaker 2: hot in there too. They crank meat man.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, Okay, yoga out for me. Okay, I
- 16:08Speaker 1: mean I can't even whatever do the main thing any
- 16:10Speaker 1: cross my.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Legs do you could probably do upward dog?
- 16:15Speaker 4: Sure, downward dog.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Sure, that's what got my calves fixed, was it. We
- 16:18Speaker 3: did a lot of of the dog's dog moment.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Walking the dog, and I'm all for it. Uh, I'm
- 16:24Speaker 1: gonna stick with walking. And they say walking is the
- 16:26Speaker 1: best thing you can do. Swimming is the ultimate best
- 16:29Speaker 1: thing you can do because you don't put any stress
- 16:31Speaker 1: on anything.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I do love to swim.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Yeah, But they say walking one of the easiest, most
- 16:35Speaker 1: effective ways to improve health. And they say even if you,
- 16:38Speaker 1: I mean, your steps are great, try to get to
- 16:40Speaker 1: us whatever is good for you. They say, the average
- 16:43Speaker 1: of eight thousand up them a little bit steps as
- 16:46Speaker 1: far as that.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Uh.
- 16:47Speaker 1: They also say, try to sit less actively, try because
- 16:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it now. But it's tough because this microphone.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Yeah lowers, see, I can have to I have to crouch.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I'm getting into it like a yoga position, just to
- 16:59Speaker 1: talk it. But I'm standing. And if I can stand
- 17:02Speaker 1: like this, this will be so much better than the
- 17:05Speaker 1: sitting I do all morning.
- 17:07Speaker 3: I mean, we do make like a couple venning machine runs.
- 17:10Speaker 3: And that's a pretty far walk on the other side
- 17:12Speaker 3: of our building.
- 17:13Speaker 2: That counts not.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Enough to calculate the number of calories and those crackers.
- 17:17Speaker 4: I guess.
- 17:18Speaker 1: But standing if I can try to do this, that'll
- 17:21Speaker 1: be great. I'm gonna I'm gonna aim to stand more. Okay,
- 17:25Speaker 1: that's what That's what the people say.
- 17:26Speaker 4: That's good.
- 17:27Speaker 2: There's the new hot girl walk.
- 17:29Speaker 4: You know, No, don't give me a cute name for it.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Well, it's really good for you though. Really it works
- 17:35Speaker 2: for the girls.
- 17:35Speaker 4: It works for will it work for me? And you
- 17:37Speaker 4: don't have to call it the hot girl walk?
- 17:39Speaker 3: Well, we could call it the we could call it
- 17:41Speaker 3: the John's Premium Manly Walk.
- 17:44Speaker 4: Thank you. I'm more into that.
- 17:46Speaker 3: You just got to get on an incline like you
- 17:48Speaker 3: get on the treadmill. You walk slow on an incline
- 17:50Speaker 3: of like thirty yep, for like half an hour.
- 17:53Speaker 4: They say that.
- 17:53Speaker 1: They said, head for the hills is a great thing
- 17:55Speaker 1: to do, and slowly incline if you're on a treadmill
- 17:58Speaker 1: or something like that.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Yeah, Hawker walk, John's Premium.
- 18:01Speaker 4: Manly, Premium Manly. Yeah. I like it. We settled everything, Yeah,
- 18:07Speaker 4: we did.
- 18:07Speaker 2: We're gonna get fit skinny this year.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Jean Now Megan's Music City Minute.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Miley Cyrus announced a twentieth anniversary hand Montana special March
- 18:16Speaker 3: twenty fourth, Disney Plus let's go.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Oh, Meghan has it on. She got a calendar so
- 18:21Speaker 1: she can hang it on the walls so she can
- 18:23Speaker 1: circle that date.
- 18:23Speaker 3: I mean, even talking about the possibility and all the rumors.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Is there gonna be a concert special? Is there gonna
- 18:29Speaker 3: be this? Is there gonna be that? So now we
- 18:31Speaker 3: know we're gonna get to watch. I just want to
- 18:33Speaker 3: see Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray maybe Dolly maybe and
- 18:38Speaker 3: a long blonde wig.
- 18:40Speaker 4: My two kids the exact same way.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Oh, I'm so excited.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Carrie Underwood she has I guess grandma hobbies is what
- 18:47Speaker 3: she's calling it, right, bird watching, making bread, crocheting. Feel
- 18:52Speaker 3: personally victimized by this because I like those hobbies too.
- 18:56Speaker 1: You're fine, you can have grandma hobbies too. You're doing
- 18:58Speaker 1: your double yogas and all that stuff. It's all good,
- 19:00Speaker 1: you can do it, all great.
- 19:02Speaker 2: That might be a grandmall hobby as well.
- 19:03Speaker 4: No, I don't think so.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Okay, then I feel a little bit.
- 19:06Speaker 4: You got it. You got this.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Thomas rhtt and his wife they're getting ready for baby
- 19:09Speaker 3: number five, and I don't know how they keep up
- 19:12Speaker 3: with this, Because he said there's no nanny, no.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Babysitters, no assistance.
- 19:17Speaker 3: And you know they've got a super busy schedule with
- 19:19Speaker 3: all the tours and the events and the traveling.
- 19:22Speaker 5: Right he said, it's just pure chaos, and probably in
- 19:25Speaker 5: the best way.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Probably.
- 19:27Speaker 4: I know they they could afford help if they needed it.
- 19:29Speaker 3: I do like that he was very transparent on that,
- 19:31Speaker 3: instead of pretending that everything's this nice white picket fence,
- 19:34Speaker 3: it's not.
- 19:35Speaker 2: It's hard to raise kids.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Trust me.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Megan's music City minute.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I like chocolate.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, there's some hope here. Because Becky doesn't like
- 19:46Speaker 3: chocolate at all. That's a little concerning bet.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Yeah, that's why.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Till you try it.
- 19:56Speaker 1: You know how the pop quiz works. The first contestant
- 19:58Speaker 1: guess is the number to the question. The second says
- 20:00Speaker 1: higher or lower. If we need a tiebreaker, we'll ask
- 20:03Speaker 1: a toss up question. Either contestant can answer. Who's going
- 20:06Speaker 1: to be the Queen of Middleburg? Will it be Crystal
- 20:08Speaker 1: or Becky? Today?
- 20:09Speaker 4: Crystal will start with you.
- 20:11Speaker 1: A recent Public Policy Center survey showed that only this
- 20:15Speaker 1: percent of Americans could name all three branches of the government,
- 20:20Speaker 1: the executive, the legislative, and the judicial. What percentage of
- 20:23Speaker 1: Americans could name all three?
- 20:27Speaker 4: Becky? Is that number higher or lower?
- 20:30Speaker 2: I'm going to say it's higher.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Well, Crystal made it a good make it tough for
- 20:34Speaker 1: you because it's only twenty two percent.
- 20:37Speaker 5: Shock Wow wow wow, yes, big time wow.
- 20:42Speaker 4: So Crystal gets that point?
- 20:44Speaker 2: Ready, go one point for team Shamrock Shake.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Okay, Becky, you get this question first. Right across from me.
- 20:55Speaker 1: If we both leaned in, we could touch fingers. How
- 20:58Speaker 1: old is my coworker Megan Terry.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Oh, that's tough as I just moved here and I've
- 21:04Speaker 3: only been listening to a few a few weeks.
- 21:08Speaker 2: But I am going to say she is twenty four?
- 21:12Speaker 4: Crystal? Is she older or younger than twenty four? Older?
- 21:17Speaker 4: She is?
- 21:17Speaker 1: He's twenty nine years old. Becky, that was a great guy.
- 21:20Speaker 2: That's a good guest.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Minimal minimal exposure. But Crystal is going to be our
- 21:24Speaker 1: winner today.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Wait to go, Crystal and good John Becky.
- 21:28Speaker 4: And we'll do it again tomorrow morning.
- 21:30Speaker 1: We'll grab two more contestants around seven ten to play
- 21:32Speaker 1: the pop quiz for Universal Orlando a pair of tickets
- 21:35Speaker 1: with parking with Country ninety nine one WQIK Megan has
- 21:39Speaker 1: pretty sweet of Becky to think.
- 21:40Speaker 4: You're twenty four. That was nice if she got like
- 21:43Speaker 4: a shamrock shake.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Can we trust her opinion?
- 21:47Speaker 1: It's the Big Show with Froggy John and Meghan Froggy.
- 21:50Speaker 1: We'll be back tomorrow. Good to be with you. And
- 21:52Speaker 1: look what today is. Today is a National Vet Girls
- 21:56Speaker 1: Rise Day.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Like veterans like you, whoa.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe and you served in the army for six years.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Six years in the army and so today is your day.
- 22:06Speaker 1: National Vet Girls Rise Day recognizes the immense dedication of
- 22:11Speaker 1: the nearly two million US veteran women.
- 22:14Speaker 2: That is so wonderful.
- 22:15Speaker 4: How about that?
- 22:16Speaker 2: That makes me feel really.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Warm and fuzzy inside because I feel like a lot
- 22:19Speaker 3: of times the females that serve in the military you
- 22:23Speaker 3: kind of get forgotten. Like now, in twenty twenty five,
- 22:26Speaker 3: there was a couple country songs that came out about
- 22:29Speaker 3: women serving in the military.
- 22:30Speaker 2: But you grow up watching.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Movies and listening to music that makes you really inspired
- 22:37Speaker 3: when you have that call to serve, right, but you
- 22:39Speaker 3: never see anyone like you unless it's Demi Moore and
- 22:42Speaker 3: g I Jane, which got me hyped up. But I
- 22:44Speaker 3: was like I don't know about the one armed push
- 22:46Speaker 3: ups in a.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Week now, g I Jane was filmed here?
- 22:49Speaker 2: Really?
- 22:49Speaker 5: Yes, it was filmed in the area Cape Blanding. I
- 22:51Speaker 5: think I so love that movie. It still gets me
- 22:54Speaker 5: fired up. But thank you so much for your service.
- 22:56Speaker 5: Can you enjoy your day? Is there anything that you're
- 22:59Speaker 5: going to do now that you know it's your day?
- 23:01Speaker 3: Well, I maybe I'll get underneath my tacoma and wrench
- 23:06Speaker 3: on something to celebrate the mechanic girls.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Right.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Speaking the military, the Players Championships announced that it's entire
- 23:14Speaker 1: allotment of free and discounted tickets for military and veterans
- 23:18Speaker 1: for the tournament week now not Military Appreciation Day you
- 23:21Speaker 1: get in free there, but for the tournament the Thursday
- 23:23Speaker 1: through Sunday. They always have discounted tickets for military. They're gone. Wow,
- 23:29Speaker 1: they have been exhausted. It's the earliest that they have
- 23:31Speaker 1: ever sold out of those military discount tickets for the
- 23:35Speaker 1: Thursday through Sunday tournament and also parking passes for the
- 23:39Speaker 1: tournament days for everybody on the second and third rounds
- 23:42Speaker 1: have sold out already to I just everybody's fired up
- 23:46Speaker 1: for the tournament.
- 23:47Speaker 3: This year, and how special that they do something like that.
- 23:50Speaker 3: I mean anything that allows the military appreciation come, you know,
- 23:54Speaker 3: come with us, or we've got a certain amount of
- 23:56Speaker 3: tickets that we want to give to service members and
- 23:59Speaker 3: veterans really means something to us.
- 24:02Speaker 2: You know it does.
- 24:03Speaker 1: That's great. I'm glad it does. We can't thank you enough.
- 24:07Speaker 1: So when you think of things like this, we'll go.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Hopefully somebody will want to take advantage of it and
- 24:11Speaker 1: be felt like we were.
- 24:12Speaker 4: Thinking of you.
- 24:13Speaker 2: What a cool community. I'm so proud to be a
- 24:15Speaker 2: part of it.
- 24:16Speaker 1: We're happy you're here to Let's get your three things
- 24:19Speaker 1: while we're hearing it.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Let's do it.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Since we're talking about the military, let's talk about air
- 24:23Speaker 3: Force one.
- 24:24Speaker 2: It's getting a makeover.
- 24:25Speaker 3: So right now, if you haven't seen what the aircraft
- 24:28Speaker 3: looks like, it's a retro design that has been.
- 24:31Speaker 2: The same way since JFK was in office.
- 24:34Speaker 4: Wow, it goes back, been a minute.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and it looks very outdated. It's powder blue.
- 24:39Speaker 4: That's crazy. What do you think it'd be state of
- 24:41Speaker 4: the art everything right on.
- 24:42Speaker 3: But it's yeah, and it's not even like red, white
- 24:46Speaker 3: and blue blue. It's like, let's match the color of
- 24:48Speaker 3: the sky blue, so it's getting a makeover. It'll be red,
- 24:51Speaker 3: white and blue, the same shades as our flag.
- 24:54Speaker 4: Nice. That's a good, good start.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Yeah, and a really pretty gold pinstripe on it.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Nice.
- 24:58Speaker 1: It really looks I think that's a little Trump. That's
- 25:02Speaker 1: a Trump signature there. That probably making making it a
- 25:05Speaker 1: little extra.
- 25:05Speaker 3: They have so much money that they really know how
- 25:08Speaker 3: to make things look good in high class.
- 25:10Speaker 4: And might as well make it. If you're going to
- 25:12Speaker 4: do it, do it right.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree.
- 25:14Speaker 3: The push to extend bar hours in Jacksonville continues on.
- 25:18Speaker 3: As of right now, some areas have been approved to
- 25:21Speaker 3: stay open till three am and two am, and others
- 25:25Speaker 3: look like they're going to open depending on how things go.
- 25:28Speaker 3: The city's looking to Tampa to see what's the best
- 25:31Speaker 3: way that we can extend bar hours without everything becoming
- 25:33Speaker 3: a huge madhouse overnight. M Saint Augustine Celtic Music and
- 25:37Speaker 3: Heritage Festival. Except for a big award USA's Top ten.
- 25:41Speaker 3: It's a reader's choice awards for the best cultural festival.
- 25:45Speaker 3: So we have to get together and vote for this
- 25:47Speaker 3: in order to move it higher on the list.
- 25:49Speaker 4: You can do that at USA today.
- 25:51Speaker 1: You can just go to their website and they have
- 25:52Speaker 1: a ten best place where you can click in and
- 25:54Speaker 1: they have all kinds of things sometimes that we're up for,
- 25:56Speaker 1: like our zoo was up for it recently and for
- 25:58Speaker 1: the Celtic Festival.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Now that's fun, awesome, let's get it done. That's three things.
- 26:02Speaker 1: W q I K Megan's tough lyric just a couple
- 26:05Speaker 1: of minutes away. It's the NonStop Big Show with Froggie,
- 26:07Speaker 1: John and Meghan and David. What can we do for you?
- 26:09Speaker 3: Well, this has been going on a couple of weeks now,
- 26:12Speaker 3: but your broadcasting.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Man, we have been hearing this. I thank you so
- 26:17Speaker 1: much for letting us know. We can't hear it because
- 26:21Speaker 1: we're only hearing programming, but evidently something between programming and
- 26:25Speaker 1: getting to the to the getting on the air.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Radio keep going this long the radio.
- 26:33Speaker 1: We can't thank you enough for taking the time to
- 26:35Speaker 1: call and letting us know. And you're not the first
- 26:39Speaker 1: one this morning, so I'm definitely going to call our
- 26:41Speaker 1: engineer again today and say, I don't know if it's
- 26:44Speaker 1: atmospheric conditions or what causes this to happen, but we're
- 26:47Speaker 1: getting an an ordinate amount of calls about it so man,
- 26:50Speaker 1: thank you so much.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I mean Newley, I thought maybe it's just
- 26:53Speaker 4: take it longer to.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Get here, a little skip off the fog or something. Yeah, yes, ye,
- 27:00Speaker 1: we appreciate you so yeah, definitely that was not the
- 27:04Speaker 1: first call. So if you're hearing some skipping here and there,
- 27:06Speaker 1: we appreciate you putting up with it, and thanks for
- 27:09Speaker 1: packing your patience when you ride with us, and hopefully
- 27:12Speaker 1: you can get rectified soon. We just want to let
- 27:14Speaker 1: you know it's not your radio, it's not your ears,
- 27:16Speaker 1: it's us right now.
- 27:17Speaker 4: But thank you. Let's get to it.
- 27:19Speaker 1: It's Megan's tough lyric for an opportunity to win a
- 27:21Speaker 1: Foord pack of tickets to World of Nations.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Here we go, girl, you melt me like ice and whiskey.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Are we going back a few years for this one? Yeah?
- 27:30Speaker 2: Honestly I didn't even recognize this song.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Good morning the Big Show on a foggy, foggy Thursday.
- 27:36Speaker 1: It's Froggy John and Meghan. Froggy will be back tomorrow.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Hopefully we'll be as foggy when Froggy returns. Do not
- 27:42Speaker 1: make ask me to repeat that. Just a heads up.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I mean, we announced Dirk s Bentley coming in concert
- 27:49Speaker 1: last week and the tickets will go on sale tomorrow.
- 27:53Speaker 1: So just a heads up for the Dirk s Bentley
- 27:54Speaker 1: tour with Ricky Skaggs. It's going to be a heck
- 27:57Speaker 1: of a show. It's happening at the Amp in Juel
- 28:00Speaker 1: and the tickets go and sale tomorrow morning at ten
- 28:02Speaker 1: eight m So a plan accordingly.
- 28:06Speaker 4: What was the first concert you went to?
- 28:07Speaker 2: I saw Kiss from a pair of radio tickets.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Really yeah.
- 28:11Speaker 2: My best friend's grandpa won them on the radio.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Oh how fun is that?
- 28:14Speaker 2: Yeah? And so we had the best time.
- 28:17Speaker 4: You went to see Kiss?
- 28:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's kind of like, you know, after
- 28:20Speaker 1: the production that Kiss puts on, Yeah, everything else is like, okay,
- 28:24Speaker 1: does everybody do this?
- 28:25Speaker 3: They were flying through the air on courts exactly.
- 28:30Speaker 4: Oh yeah, there we go.
- 28:34Speaker 2: I love it. What was your first concert?
- 28:37Speaker 1: My first, non It was a jazz concert. I went
- 28:40Speaker 1: to see Chuck Mangione. He was big in the seventies.
- 28:43Speaker 1: And then the first like rock band I went and
- 28:45Speaker 1: saw was Little River Band. They had some big hits
- 28:48Speaker 1: in the late seventies too, Okay, so I saw them.
- 28:51Speaker 1: And then the first big concert at a big arena.
- 28:54Speaker 1: It was moody blues, the guys who did nights and
- 28:56Speaker 1: what's that and they believing I.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Don't know if I know that one.
- 29:01Speaker 1: That was the one I went to, uh in the
- 29:03Speaker 1: in the big arena, and I thought, Wow, I'm in
- 29:05Speaker 1: a grown up place now.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
