- 0:07Speaker 1: This Mead podcast. Welcome to Meat Eater Trivia. I am
- 0:12Speaker 1: your host, Spencer new Art, and we are joined by
- 0:15Speaker 1: all sorts of special guests. Today got chef Kevin Gillespie,
- 0:19Speaker 1: Swimmy Kimmy Werner, DUCKNRD, Sean Weaver, and graphics guy Hunter Spencer,
- 0:24Speaker 1: who has deemed today's round the April first Battle of
- 0:27Speaker 1: Bozeman with his latest design. I don't realize he was
- 0:32Speaker 1: sitting right there, have you? Has everyone seen the poster? Yeah? No,
- 0:36Speaker 1: I keep wanted to take a nice picture of it.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Cant us get the artwork of it. When when I
- 0:41Speaker 1: was coming to the office today I saw some guy.
- 0:43Speaker 1: We get a lot of foot traffic by our place,
- 0:45Speaker 1: going to a local coffee shop. Somebody stopped and they
- 0:48Speaker 1: read it for like two minutes and they walked away
- 0:51Speaker 1: looking more confused before when they didn't know what it was.
- 0:55Speaker 1: I can imagine I didn't know this was an MMA joint.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Oh yeah, uh Now I've been sticking these all over
- 1:02Speaker 1: the office. If you want to see it for yourself,
- 1:04Speaker 1: you can go to Instagram and check out either at
- 1:06Speaker 1: Spencer New Marth or at Brody j Henderson to see
- 1:09Speaker 1: the old timey boxing poster between the Michigan Menace and
- 1:14Speaker 1: the Colorado Kid. Now, this is trivia you're not gonna
- 1:17Speaker 1: get from Jeopardy or Trivial Pursuit or any barn grill trivia.
- 1:20Speaker 1: These are born out of the four verticals. He should
- 1:24Speaker 1: be the Pennsylvania can Yah, It's okay, here's what I
- 1:29Speaker 1: would the Pennsylvania in. Uh. In combat sports, it's sometimes
- 1:40Speaker 1: common for somebody to list the area they train out of,
- 1:44Speaker 1: rather than where they're from. When I was a kid,
- 1:47Speaker 1: I don't know. When I was a kid, brock Lessner
- 1:49Speaker 1: was the biggest thing in WWE, and I took so
- 1:52Speaker 1: much pride that he hailed from Webster, South Dakota. But
- 1:55Speaker 1: I felt so betrayed that when he would walk out
- 1:58Speaker 1: and they chose little Bio, it said Neapolis, Minnesota. That'sund
- 2:02Speaker 1: where he's from. That's where he trained from. But I
- 2:04Speaker 1: thought he was an MMA guy. He was w W
- 2:06Speaker 1: and MMA. He was phenomenal in WWE, just average at MMA.
- 2:10Speaker 1: You've driven by his parents place and he was good
- 2:13Speaker 1: at He was a great heel, good on the mic,
- 2:18Speaker 1: look good in the ring. Love brock Lesner phenomenal college wrestler.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Actually yeah, and uh, he went to what was Minnesota, right,
- 2:27Speaker 1: had a stint with the Vikings. That's enough about brock Lesner. Uh,
- 2:32Speaker 1: what are the four verticals of meat eater? I'll say
- 2:36Speaker 1: it once again and I'll explain why I think that
- 2:38Speaker 1: we shouldn't do this. Okay, hunting, fishing, conservation, and culinary.
- 2:44Speaker 1: And I'll explain however again that's has nothing to do
- 2:48Speaker 1: has a little bit to do with the trivia show,
- 2:50Speaker 1: but not a lot. I'll explain again. At one time
- 2:53Speaker 1: I had heard that like twenty percent of your listeners
- 2:55Speaker 1: on a given moment or brand new, so are someone's
- 3:00Speaker 1: what's that mine? I had heard that on a radio show,
- 3:03Speaker 1: a sports radio show was covering our show. No, no, okay,
- 3:06Speaker 1: that's I'm saying saying generally, sure, okay, So I don't
- 3:09Speaker 1: want to leave those folks in the dark. But I
- 3:12Speaker 1: but after months, I can't believe you haven't come up
- 3:14Speaker 1: with a better way of explaining what the trivia shows about.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I've got a bone to pick with your conservation questions too,
- 3:19Speaker 1: because everyone is about national parks like they have nothing
- 3:23Speaker 1: to do with that's that's actually some public land ones.
- 3:26Speaker 1: We had a couple a lot of national park questions. Brody,
- 3:29Speaker 1: it's like fly trap. You suck all the people into
- 3:32Speaker 1: certain spots and keeps the rest of the nation and
- 3:36Speaker 1: keep going to those national parks. Now there is a prize.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Mediator will donate five hundred dollars to the conservation organization
- 3:43Speaker 1: of the winners choosing. We've played ten times so far.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Steve has won four times. Brody has won three times.
- 3:49Speaker 1: In clay seth in the honest of each one once. Oh,
- 3:51Speaker 1: we're gonna get a um, We're gonna try to get
- 3:54Speaker 1: a title sponsorship, a title sponsor for the trivia show. Yep.
- 3:57Speaker 1: But the deal is the title sponsor has the match
- 4:00Speaker 1: the five hundred bucks looking forward to it. No, we're
- 4:03Speaker 1: gonna sending a lot of money, so your listeners, No,
- 4:06Speaker 1: anyone who wants to be the title sponsor. Some folks
- 4:10Speaker 1: want through question. Some folks want through question read so badly.
- 4:14Speaker 1: When they send in mediator questions, they'll be like, if
- 4:17Speaker 1: Steve gets this wrong all they donate twenty dollars to
- 4:20Speaker 1: Land Access Initiative. Gred Beard Restaurants will sponsor this. If
- 4:23Speaker 1: we quadruple the number of culinary questions that I might
- 4:26Speaker 1: actually we can do a whole episode sponsored by Red
- 4:31Speaker 1: Beard Restaurants. The last game, Jannis asked if a human
- 4:35Speaker 1: could be suspended by their testicles and offense the same
- 4:38Speaker 1: way that we've seen it happened to squirrels and possums.
- 4:41Speaker 1: To answer that question, I reached out to doctor Ellen
- 4:44Speaker 1: Lazzara and presented him with this scenario. A nineteen year
- 4:50Speaker 1: old one hundred and forty pound Chester Floyd has had
- 4:53Speaker 1: seven bush lights and was just at a house party
- 4:55Speaker 1: that got busted by cops. He's been running for two
- 4:58Speaker 1: blocks when he approaches an eight foot whole fence that
- 5:01Speaker 1: he attempts to scale, but disaster strikes when Chester loses
- 5:05Speaker 1: his balance at the fences summit. You see Chester decide
- 5:08Speaker 1: to go commander tonight, and he just ripped his wranglers,
- 5:11Speaker 1: exposing his manhood that gets wedged between the fences steel
- 5:14Speaker 1: planks as Chester falls head first towards the manhood is testicles?
- 5:20Speaker 1: Can they be the same thing? I think of them
- 5:22Speaker 1: as separate. I mean they're like a package unit, his testicles,
- 5:27Speaker 1: his gesticulars, if you will, They get wedged between the
- 5:31Speaker 1: fences steel plates as Chester falls head first toward the earth.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Here is doctor Allen Lazara. Explaining what happens next, experience
- 5:40Speaker 1: being the first and greatest of all teachers in my
- 5:42Speaker 1: clinical experience with straddle injuries and anecdotal experience hearing stories
- 5:47Speaker 1: growing up, scrowed him that hit fences tearor they don't hang.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Especially in this case, those steel plates would more likely
- 5:53Speaker 1: act like knives and of vols Chester's testicles right off.
- 5:56Speaker 1: If in a good situation, Chesters scrowed him just tore,
- 5:59Speaker 1: he'd need an er evaluation ultrasound of his testicles and
- 6:02Speaker 1: a retrograde urethrogram or an MRI to make sure as
- 6:06Speaker 1: urethra didn't sustain an injury, and ultimately he's going to
- 6:08Speaker 1: need urologists to take him to the OAR for surgical repair.
- 6:12Speaker 1: But to answer the question if Chester could hang by
- 6:14Speaker 1: his sack, I went and found a French study that
- 6:16Speaker 1: used human cadaver backskin to test the dynamic tensile properties
- 6:20Speaker 1: of human skin. Now, in the study they found the
- 6:23Speaker 1: mean ultimate tensile strength was around four thousand pounds per
- 6:26Speaker 1: square inch. And I tried the calculations for Chester's scrotum
- 6:29Speaker 1: on my own, but my physics are a little rusty
- 6:31Speaker 1: and I don't want to bore Steve with the math.
- 6:33Speaker 1: But by my calculations, Chester's theoretical scrotum could sustain a
- 6:37Speaker 1: static hang. That doesn't take into account the running acceleration,
- 6:40Speaker 1: different types of skin, angle of strain, or any tears
- 6:43Speaker 1: in the skin that usually occurred during a hasty escape.
- 6:46Speaker 1: So the most likely scenarios Chester's sack would rip or tear.
- 6:50Speaker 1: But yes, it seems possible he could be suspended by
- 6:52Speaker 1: his scrotum in a very specially designed and gentle fence. Today,
- 6:57Speaker 1: you have a chest, we could do it. I'd like
- 6:59Speaker 1: to put one Chester's testicles in the Bratsler. Are you
- 7:04Speaker 1: willing to donate? Absolutely not, No, No, that's another publication.
- 7:16Speaker 1: That's another another test. We need to do some rocky
- 7:19Speaker 1: mountain oister. So you heard it straight from doctor ellen Zara. Yes,
- 7:24Speaker 1: it is possible, but not likely. When I had my
- 7:29Speaker 1: one of my our daughters being born, she her birthday
- 7:32Speaker 1: is twelve eleven twelve, and one of the nurses commented
- 7:37Speaker 1: to me that tomorrow will be a nuthouse down here,
- 7:41Speaker 1: and I said, why is that? She said, because people
- 7:43Speaker 1: are gonna want twelve twelve twelve, And she said on
- 7:47Speaker 1: eleven eleven eleven, it was a nuthouse, and they spent
- 7:50Speaker 1: the whole day sending people home who were trying to
- 7:54Speaker 1: like act like they were in labor to land a
- 7:57Speaker 1: sweet birthdate point being. I wonder if people show up
- 8:02Speaker 1: down at Now the Animalazara, right, I wonder if people
- 8:06Speaker 1: listen to the show what is called him? Adam? You
- 8:09Speaker 1: know I did not I said, Alan, you said Adam
- 8:12Speaker 1: bullshit gloves. You're coming back, Phil. It's a good start.
- 8:19Speaker 1: We haven't even got to the question, Phil. I wonder
- 8:22Speaker 1: if people show up down at Now the Animalazara, right. See, okay,
- 8:31Speaker 1: there's one option for Phil depending or well, I meant
- 8:34Speaker 1: to say, Alan, there's another option you. Uh. I wonder
- 8:39Speaker 1: people show up down there was self inflicted or feigning
- 8:43Speaker 1: injuries just to meet the legend himself and then hope
- 8:47Speaker 1: he gets talked about here. Just yeah, I'd be like,
- 8:50Speaker 1: I hear about this guy all the time. I'm gonna
- 8:51Speaker 1: go down there and act like I got hurt. People
- 8:53Speaker 1: are just gonna text him photos hanging from a fence
- 8:55Speaker 1: and me like I got the toughest sack in the biz.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Actually someone already did that. Oh good, All right, go on, Spencer,
- 9:04Speaker 1: and we are on to meet Eater Trivia, play the drop, Phil, Look,
- 9:09Speaker 1: I need to know what I staying to win everything.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I'm saying, just tend to win everything. Dame on suckers,
- 9:25Speaker 1: all right. Question one this is going to be multiple choice,
- 9:29Speaker 1: as always any topic is mountain men. Well, I feel
- 9:32Speaker 1: like real quick, um one sec have Kippy's never played before?
- 9:37Speaker 1: She said she's listened to. I listened to one, studied up.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I don't think I'm gonna more. I wanted to honor
- 9:44Speaker 1: your presence more. Thank you because Hunter you played? Did
- 9:48Speaker 1: you get whooped? I did good until about halfway through
- 9:52Speaker 1: and then the wheels fell off. So you got whooped?
- 9:54Speaker 1: You can just say yes, no man, okay, so you
- 10:01Speaker 1: I wise, but not anymore. No, I feel ready everybody.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Kimmy Warrener, I feel honored that you're nervous though. Instagram
- 10:09Speaker 1: at Kimmy Swimmy but not normal Kimmy, k I am
- 10:12Speaker 1: I A. Question one, as always is multiple choice in
- 10:17Speaker 1: the topic is mountain men. According to some accounts, Kit
- 10:22Speaker 1: Carson's last words were wish I had time for just
- 10:27Speaker 1: one more blank? Is it kiss from my third wife? Rocky?
- 10:32Speaker 1: Mountain Rendezvous? Bowl of chili or Mexican sunset. Now these
- 10:38Speaker 1: are the last words from Kit Carson, a famous frontiersman,
- 10:41Speaker 1: and the quote is wish I had time for just
- 10:44Speaker 1: one more blank? Is it kiss from my third wife,
- 10:49Speaker 1: Rocky Mountain Rendezvous, bowl of chili or Mexican sunset? Steve,
- 10:56Speaker 1: you're not familiar? No, and I read blood and thun.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Where does Kick Carson rank in your not high? No?
- 11:03Speaker 1: Not high? No? Okay, very interesting dude, but I don't
- 11:07Speaker 1: rank him high as a mountain man. Okay. Does everybody
- 11:09Speaker 1: have an answer? Go ahead and hold on. Chester's e
- 11:13Speaker 1: Racing had a change of heart. Are you ready if
- 11:16Speaker 1: it makes you feel better. I went with what I
- 11:18Speaker 1: want it to be, not what I think. Go ahead
- 11:21Speaker 1: and reveal your answers. We have Cal saying you gotta
- 11:25Speaker 1: write it out, bowl of chili, Kevin saying bowl of chili,
- 11:29Speaker 1: Chester Chester saying Mexican sunset. See you saying bowl of chili,
- 11:35Speaker 1: Hunter sang Rocky Mountain Rendezvous, Kimmy saying bowl of chili,
- 11:39Speaker 1: Brody saying kiss from my third wife, Krinn saying bowl
- 11:43Speaker 1: of chili, and Sean saying Mexican sunset. The correct answer
- 11:48Speaker 1: is bowl of chili. The room did very well, man,
- 11:54Speaker 1: kick Carson unbelievable character. Unbelievable character. That's not what he
- 11:59Speaker 1: asked me. Oh yeah, But if he came up against
- 12:02Speaker 1: any ranked him among scouts, ranked him among Great Western scouts,
- 12:09Speaker 1: I'd be like, oh, very high. But as a mountain man,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I don't rank him that high. Carson died in eighteen
- 12:15Speaker 1: sixty eight in Colorado antiquated thinking, after falling off of
- 12:20Speaker 1: a horse that caused an aneurysm. In the last hours,
- 12:23Speaker 1: he ate a buffalo steak, drank a pot of coffee,
- 12:26Speaker 1: and smoked his pipe. Some say his final sentence was
- 12:29Speaker 1: wish I had time for just one more bowl of chili,
- 12:31Speaker 1: while other sources claim his dying words were doctor campadre audios. Hmm.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I like the first one, though I know he put
- 12:41Speaker 1: it in a request for that buffalo steak. You know
- 12:44Speaker 1: that blood and thunder. We are on to question to
- 12:47Speaker 1: the topic of turkeys. This next great question comes to
- 12:50Speaker 1: us via Eric McGee. If you have a question you
- 12:53Speaker 1: think he's right from mead to Trivia, you can send
- 12:54Speaker 1: it to Trivia at the media dot com. Well, he
- 12:57Speaker 1: married three times. I know he's married twice. He was
- 12:59Speaker 1: I know he a native. He married a Native American woman.
- 13:04Speaker 1: She died, He sent their child from that union off
- 13:07Speaker 1: somewhere and then married a woman from Mexico. Right. I
- 13:11Speaker 1: think he maybe had two Native American wives and then
- 13:13Speaker 1: the third one was from Mexico. We're onto. Question to
- 13:18Speaker 1: the topic is turkeys again via Eric McGhee. An immature
- 13:23Speaker 1: male turkey is called a jake. What is the name
- 13:26Speaker 1: for an immature female turkey? An immature male turkey is
- 13:32Speaker 1: a jake? What do you call an immature female turkey?
- 13:38Speaker 1: You know, Brody, I believe I do. Okay, we'll find
- 13:42Speaker 1: out some quick answers and some no answers. Brody, what
- 13:45Speaker 1: do you have for that last one? I got it wrong?
- 13:51Speaker 1: Gloating before the games. He'll get him, he'll get him.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Does everybody have an answer? No, because I can't think
- 13:59Speaker 1: of the word I'm trying to think of. We'll go.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I don't want to hold the whole show up. Everybody
- 14:05Speaker 1: reveal your answers we have? Cal No, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 14:11Speaker 1: too late. I'm not looking at anybody. He's looking at
- 14:14Speaker 1: how's that? Cal? Cal? You gotta go hire for me here,
- 14:17Speaker 1: help me out, Cal saying I don't know what he
- 14:19Speaker 1: even wrote down, Kevin without an answer, Chester without answer,
- 14:22Speaker 1: Steve saying sure, Susie Susie Hunter without an answer, Kimmy
- 14:28Speaker 1: saying it, Jane Brody saying at Jenny, Corin saying at Jenny,
- 14:31Speaker 1: and Sean without an answer. The correct answer is a Jenny.
- 14:37Speaker 1: And now we're even man. I was thinking Jenny. But
- 14:44Speaker 1: there's a Genny mule, right, which is like what the
- 14:46Speaker 1: opposite of what you get when you you know what
- 14:49Speaker 1: I'm talking about, Like you when you take a donkey
- 14:52Speaker 1: and a horse, right, And if it's a male, it's
- 14:55Speaker 1: a blank, or if it's cal you know what I'm
- 14:57Speaker 1: talking about, first play, But Jenny mule is like something
- 15:03Speaker 1: or another I don't know. I actually killed they bearded
- 15:06Speaker 1: Jenny a few years ago in South Dakota. And just
- 15:08Speaker 1: like with Jake's, a Jenny's tail fan is longer in
- 15:11Speaker 1: the middle and shorter on the sides. This is because
- 15:13Speaker 1: when juvenile turkeys molt at the end of summer, they
- 15:16Speaker 1: only replaced their middle tail feathers. If you want to
- 15:19Speaker 1: see that picture that bearded Jenny I killed, I put
- 15:21Speaker 1: it up on my Instagram at Spencer New Hearth my
- 15:25Speaker 1: wife's new hunting code name. She doesn't like it, but
- 15:27Speaker 1: it's the bearded hent. It that. You know what your
- 15:33Speaker 1: daughter said when I when I asked her about killing
- 15:36Speaker 1: a bearded hen the other day, she said she didn't
- 15:39Speaker 1: like it because there wasn't much meat on it. Yeah,
- 15:42Speaker 1: I've been trying to sell her on him. She's look
- 15:44Speaker 1: mildly disappointed. Good on her question through. The topic is dogs.
- 15:48Speaker 1: According to the United Kennel Club, there are seven types
- 15:52Speaker 1: of coonhounds. Name one of them. According to the UKC,
- 15:59Speaker 1: there are seven types of coonhounds. Name one of them.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I feel like you should ask for two. Yeah, that's
- 16:05Speaker 1: pretty that's I don't know. Nope, nope, guys want to
- 16:11Speaker 1: lobbing the other insults out there. We got time. That's
- 16:14Speaker 1: a softball, man, it's real softball. Watch Brody gets it wrong?
- 16:21Speaker 1: Does everybody have the softball answer? No, red fern grows
- 16:25Speaker 1: in your family? Damn it, Cal, it's like two infractions.
- 16:34Speaker 1: One he's still writing. He's still writing after everyone revealed
- 16:38Speaker 1: her thing, and now he's thrown out hints. Everyone else
- 16:41Speaker 1: had an answer. He was just like, I feel like
- 16:43Speaker 1: that's like two inction. Go ahead and reveal your answers.
- 16:46Speaker 1: We have Cal saying a red tick. Kel I'm gonna
- 16:49Speaker 1: ask you again. This is your third infraction. You gotta
- 16:52Speaker 1: raise up your white board. Kevin saying blue tike, Chess,
- 16:55Speaker 1: you're saying blue tick, Steve saying a walker, Hunter saying
- 16:58Speaker 1: a plot, Kimmy saying a greyhound saying a blue tick,
- 17:04Speaker 1: Sean saying a blue tick. The room did very well.
- 17:07Speaker 1: The uk C recognizes the American leopard, the black or tan,
- 17:12Speaker 1: the blue tick, the English, the plots, the red bones,
- 17:15Speaker 1: and the treeing walkers. It's not a black or is
- 17:19Speaker 1: a black or black hand? It says black or tank.
- 17:22Speaker 1: What's this leopard thing you're talking about? American leopard? I
- 17:24Speaker 1: don't know. The uk C even has a Coonhound Hall
- 17:28Speaker 1: of Fame, which has been around since twenty twelve. Of
- 17:30Speaker 1: the fifty one coonhounds in the Hall of Fame, seventeen
- 17:34Speaker 1: are treeing walkers, in sixteen are blue ticks. They lead
- 17:38Speaker 1: the coonhound group. Yeah, in Michigan, that was like, I
- 17:41Speaker 1: don't know anybody that did it that didn't have a walker.
- 17:44Speaker 1: But then what Clay uses plots, don't he? Yeah? So
- 17:47Speaker 1: I actually texted Clay this morning and asked what he
- 17:49Speaker 1: has he has plots and fiss which fis must not
- 17:53Speaker 1: be a there's squirrel dogs where I'm from. Everybody has
- 17:56Speaker 1: red bones in Georgia. Yeah, the ole mingus says a
- 17:59Speaker 1: blue tick, Phil, So I'd got that wrong. A red
- 18:05Speaker 1: ticks all full of blood combo, it's crossbrey. Yeah, that's
- 18:12Speaker 1: the fun part about these hound folks. They talk more
- 18:15Speaker 1: about how they came up with their dog versus what
- 18:19Speaker 1: their dog is. Yeah, you know what I mean. We
- 18:21Speaker 1: are onto question four. The topic is fishing. This next
- 18:26Speaker 1: great question comes to us via Jacob Zutterman. If you
- 18:28Speaker 1: have a question you think is right for meata to trivia,
- 18:30Speaker 1: you can send it to trivia at the meadeater dot com.
- 18:33Speaker 1: What do people get when you accept your question? Nothing yet,
- 18:36Speaker 1: but we are working on creating a listener question of
- 18:39Speaker 1: the week that will be sent a prize. But we
- 18:40Speaker 1: don't have that lined up yet, but soon. Keep sending
- 18:43Speaker 1: in these great questions. These three states that bordered each
- 18:47Speaker 1: other are the only states in America with a flathead
- 18:50Speaker 1: catfish record over one hundred pounds. Name one of them.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Hit me again. These three these three states that border
- 19:00Speaker 1: each other are the only states in America with a
- 19:04Speaker 1: flathead catfish record over one hundred pounds. Name one of
- 19:08Speaker 1: these states, Name only one. Just name one. Don't go
- 19:20Speaker 1: thinking it's a blue cap a flathead over one hundred pounds.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I have a clarifying question, but I don't know if
- 19:30Speaker 1: I can ask no. No. I think I think I
- 19:36Speaker 1: provided all the necessary details. Does everybody have an answer? Ye?
- 19:42Speaker 1: Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Cal saying Kentucky,
- 19:45Speaker 1: Kevin saying Mississippi, Chester saying Iowa, Steve saying Missouri, Hunter
- 19:49Speaker 1: saying Kentucky, Kimmi saying Louisiana, Brody sang South Carolina, Corin
- 19:53Speaker 1: saying question marks after your answer? Is that the answer
- 19:58Speaker 1: or not? My question mark gone? You want to talk
- 20:05Speaker 1: with Steve on his answers, he can right into defensive
- 20:09Speaker 1: at the meatpeater dot com. The correct answers are Nebraska, Kansas,
- 20:16Speaker 1: and Missouri. Don't you worry about? The biggest state record
- 20:23Speaker 1: flathead was caught in nineteen ninety eight from Elk City
- 20:27Speaker 1: Reservoir of Kansas. The angler was fishing for cropping using
- 20:30Speaker 1: a bobber and minnow when he hooked into the one
- 20:32Speaker 1: hundred and twenty three pound flathead. He said he likely
- 20:35Speaker 1: wouldn't have landed the fish, but a fierce wind had
- 20:38Speaker 1: waves rolling into shore directly at him. After about a
- 20:41Speaker 1: twenty minute fight, the catfish helplessly got caught in the
- 20:43Speaker 1: waves and allowed the man to drag it to the bank.
- 20:47Speaker 1: What would be your clarifying question? Because all three states
- 20:50Speaker 1: touch each other, I was wondering if noodling counts versus
- 20:54Speaker 1: I don't think anybody's noodle in one hundred pound because
- 20:56Speaker 1: you're because your knowledge of this isn't No, I don't know,
- 21:01Speaker 1: not at all, but because I would figure that people
- 21:05Speaker 1: would catch bigger ones noodling, But I don't know if
- 21:09Speaker 1: that's true at all. I think you'd have trouble rassling
- 21:12Speaker 1: one hundred pounder. Yeah, but you're enthusiasts by will be
- 21:20Speaker 1: able to walk down the road. Yeah, noodling dog owner,
- 21:23Speaker 1: I didn't say. I don't got anything against noodling. I
- 21:28Speaker 1: think would be just five and they probably owned blue ticks.
- 21:31Speaker 1: We are onto question five. The topic is cooking. After
- 21:34Speaker 1: this question, we will get a scoreboard update from Fill
- 21:36Speaker 1: the engineer. What fast food chain sold venison sandwiches as
- 21:41Speaker 1: a hunting season promotion in twenty sixteen and twenty seventeen,
- 21:48Speaker 1: fairly confident room. What fast food chain sold venison sandwiches
- 21:51Speaker 1: as a hunting season promotion in twenty sixteen and twenty seventeen.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I'll make it Phil's job easier. He doesn't have to
- 22:03Speaker 1: put that in. Oh wait, non Chester, This fast food
- 22:13Speaker 1: chain sold venice and sandwiches as a hunting season promotion
- 22:17Speaker 1: in twenty sixteen. Colonel does everybody have an answers the
- 22:28Speaker 1: former military man, Go ahead and mabel your answers. We
- 22:31Speaker 1: have cal saying Arby's. Kevin saying Arby's, Arby's, Army's, Arby's,
- 22:35Speaker 1: Kimmy saying Carl's Junior, Brody saying Arby's, Arby's, Arby's. Arby's
- 22:40Speaker 1: is the correct by because I'm digging myself out of
- 22:44Speaker 1: a hole. Man. In twenty sixteen, the deer Meat sandwiches
- 22:48Speaker 1: sold out in fifteen minutes at an Arby's in Minnesota,
- 22:51Speaker 1: in ninety minutes at an Arby's in George is all
- 22:53Speaker 1: New Zealand Red deer it was. It did come from
- 22:56Speaker 1: New Zealand. Uh. That year they were only available at
- 22:59Speaker 1: seventeen locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Tennessee and Georgia. But
- 23:04Speaker 1: it was so popular that when they did the promotion
- 23:06Speaker 1: again in twenty seventeen, they did it in all fifty
- 23:09Speaker 1: states and even added an elk sandwich to the menu
- 23:11Speaker 1: for Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. I protested it at the time,
- 23:16Speaker 1: and I'd protested again. They sent out I know you
- 23:19Speaker 1: got them too, but they sent out seasonings and they
- 23:23Speaker 1: were actually legit. They were arbies did yeah for Venison.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I don't mind. I don't mind the red deer thing much,
- 23:29Speaker 1: but I mind the elk thing greatly. Bye. I don't
- 23:33Speaker 1: think you should. I don't think they should do that
- 23:34Speaker 1: to elk. Yeah, but you're not protesting them into a sandwich. No,
- 23:39Speaker 1: I think they elk should be wild and free. Phil
- 23:42Speaker 1: hit us with a scoreboard update. We are halfway through
- 23:44Speaker 1: the game of trivia. Sure thing. I'm pretty sure this
- 23:46Speaker 1: is accurate, but it's the most full room we've had,
- 23:48Speaker 1: so I'll tell you if it has me up top,
- 23:52Speaker 1: all right. Kimmy Werner has one point. Coming up next,
- 23:56Speaker 1: we have Hunter, Sean cal and Chester with two points.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Kevin and Brody each have three points. Steve Ronnella has
- 24:06Speaker 1: four and in first place is Karin Schneider. Oh no,
- 24:15Speaker 1: should we just go plan? What about those questions? The
- 24:20Speaker 1: question of ours I knock off the half point, she'd
- 24:23Speaker 1: still be winning. By the way, we are onto question six.
- 24:35Speaker 1: The topic is gear. This next great question comes who
- 24:38Speaker 1: was via FHF Zone, Rick Hutton. If you have a
- 24:41Speaker 1: question you think is right from media to trivia, you
- 24:43Speaker 1: can send it to Trivia at the meat Eater dot com. Now,
- 24:46Speaker 1: if folks think this is redundant that I always had
- 24:48Speaker 1: to tell them to send it Trivia at the media
- 24:50Speaker 1: dot Com. Corny Caulkins, who runs our regular inbox, gets
- 24:53Speaker 1: about ten of these emails a day. I get about
- 24:55Speaker 1: five Instagram dms a day. So listen close here Trivia
- 24:59Speaker 1: at the Meat Eater dot Com. I'm gonna keep repeating that. Wait,
- 25:01Speaker 1: so Corey starts getting flooded with things that say test
- 25:05Speaker 1: my meat. Yeah, you just when it comes to the
- 25:10Speaker 1: thirty thirty Winchester, the first thirty represents the caliber of
- 25:14Speaker 1: the bullet. What does the second thirty represent? This is
- 25:20Speaker 1: from FHF Zone, Rick Hutton. The first thirty in the
- 25:25Speaker 1: thirty thirty Winchester is the caliber of the bullet. What
- 25:29Speaker 1: is the second thirty not a super confident room, high feeling, broady,
- 25:36Speaker 1: very good. Oh okay, he didn't say cocky, said good.
- 25:42Speaker 1: He said good so good. Because Steve looks confused. Well,
- 25:48Speaker 1: I know it's one of two things that the problem.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Give me a second. Okay, I don't like it, but
- 25:53Speaker 1: I got one down. Does everybody have an answer? Krian
- 25:57Speaker 1: still scribbling, Get go ahead and reveal your answers. Cal
- 26:01Speaker 1: has his phone out as well. Cal says grains of powder.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Kevin says grains of powder. Chester says how much powder?
- 26:07Speaker 1: Steve says nineteen thirty, Hunter says powder, Kimmy says the diameter,
- 26:12Speaker 1: Brody says the powder, Krinn says the powder, and Sean
- 26:17Speaker 1: without an answer. The correct answer is thirty grains of
- 26:20Speaker 1: smokeless powder. So the room did very well. That wasn't
- 26:23Speaker 1: even my second choice. Well what would have been your
- 26:26Speaker 1: second choice? So you know how like the forty five
- 26:29Speaker 1: seventy is like casing lengths and stuffing, isn't the isn't
- 26:31Speaker 1: that or is that another powder charge? There's there's some
- 26:35Speaker 1: that has like a there's some that has a casing length.
- 26:37Speaker 1: It wouldn't make me think the thirty thirty Winchester has
- 26:41Speaker 1: competed in two caliber battles written by Jordan Sillers on
- 26:43Speaker 1: the meadeator dot com, once against the thirty five Remington
- 26:47Speaker 1: and once against the three fifty Legend in a battle
- 26:49Speaker 1: of the best lever action cartridges. If you want to
- 26:52Speaker 1: know the winners, and I promise you do and learn
- 26:55Speaker 1: a ton about these calibers, go to the website and
- 26:57Speaker 1: type in thirty thirty Winchester Krin had a right specifically,
- 27:02Speaker 1: did you have grains of powder? I saw a lot
- 27:04Speaker 1: of stuff on there. Where are you so? Now they're
- 27:17Speaker 1: probably testing the piss out of like people that didn't
- 27:21Speaker 1: even like do good? They drug expert thirty you can
- 27:26Speaker 1: miss seven times thirty thirty. Didn't you have a what'd
- 27:30Speaker 1: you have a thirty two? I had, well my first Yeah,
- 27:34Speaker 1: I had a Model ninety four and thirty two special.
- 27:36Speaker 1: That's cool, stubby little like that's an old trapper. And
- 27:40Speaker 1: I had a peep site, and I had a reducer
- 27:42Speaker 1: and it has started getting dark at night. Yards had
- 27:44Speaker 1: to back that reducer out. Yeah I killed some Yeah,
- 27:48Speaker 1: that's that shell casing I found in BC with thirty two.
- 27:52Speaker 1: You know what I did? I sold it to a
- 27:55Speaker 1: place to sold guns and woodstoves. I got ripped, sold
- 28:00Speaker 1: for three hundred bucks because I wanted a bolt action
- 28:02Speaker 1: thirty out six. Stupidest thing I ever did. And here's
- 28:05Speaker 1: the fighting it was given to me. But the odd
- 28:08Speaker 1: six is a great one for this conversation, right, because
- 28:12Speaker 1: that's a thirty caliber produced in nineteen oh six. Correct
- 28:15Speaker 1: could follow up? That was in the first game of
- 28:17Speaker 1: trivia we ever played. We aren't a question seven. The
- 28:20Speaker 1: topic is conservation. According to the USGS, there are five
- 28:25Speaker 1: states west of the Mississippi River in the lower forty
- 28:28Speaker 1: eight where CWD hasn't been detected. Named two of them.
- 28:34Speaker 1: This is according to the USGS, who just updated the
- 28:36Speaker 1: map about a week ago. There are five states west
- 28:40Speaker 1: of the Mississippi River in the lower forty eight where
- 28:43Speaker 1: CWD hasn't been detected, named two of them. Fairly confident.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Room seems like it's putting down Brody m. This is
- 28:57Speaker 1: a tough one man. Look for two of the five states.
- 29:04Speaker 1: I don't like this question, why because I don't know
- 29:09Speaker 1: the answer. Does everybody have an answer? It's go ahead
- 29:16Speaker 1: and reveal your answers. We have cal saying Arizona and
- 29:20Speaker 1: New Mexico Kevin saying New Mexico and Arizona. Chess Are
- 29:24Speaker 1: saying New Mexico and Nevada, Steve saying California, Nevada, Hunter
- 29:27Speaker 1: saying Arizona and New Mexico. Kimmy sang Hawaii, and Callie
- 29:31Speaker 1: Brody saying Arizona's bad move. Grin with just California and
- 29:39Speaker 1: Sean sang Arizona and Oregon. The correct answer is Washington, Oregon, Nevada, California,
- 29:47Speaker 1: and Arizona. You have let me see, I couldn't another
- 29:54Speaker 1: state on Everyone needs to study c w D dash
- 29:57Speaker 1: info dot org. Just Jim Heffel, fingers Phil everybody. Oklahoma
- 30:05Speaker 1: almost makes the list, but CWD has been detected there
- 30:08Speaker 1: in captive herds of deer. Between the diseases presence and
- 30:12Speaker 1: deer farms and the wild herds of every state surrounding it,
- 30:15Speaker 1: it's sadly just a matter of time before hunters there
- 30:18Speaker 1: start encountering cw I think you got to retract that.
- 30:21Speaker 1: What do you mean almost makes the list? Yeah, exactly,
- 30:27Speaker 1: but it's only been found in like two deer farms,
- 30:29Speaker 1: so they haven't found in any wild deer yet. And
- 30:32Speaker 1: we know that, you know, yeah, once it is there
- 30:36Speaker 1: any states left east for the Mississippi? A lot of
- 30:39Speaker 1: the New England. Um, there's only like thirty states at
- 30:41Speaker 1: this point that have it, and they're all like little
- 30:43Speaker 1: they're all together. So like a lot of New England,
- 30:46Speaker 1: a lot of the southeast to like Florida and the
- 30:48Speaker 1: states around it, and then obviously the west. Hey, when
- 30:50Speaker 1: we will launch our board game, be mindful of questions
- 30:54Speaker 1: that are likely to change rapidly. That one. I think
- 30:57Speaker 1: Mississippi was just added to the list like yesterday, so
- 31:00Speaker 1: it happens. Don't put that on the board game. Okay?
- 31:02Speaker 1: Oh man, if I put Mississippi, I'd be so mad.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Right now, we are onto question A. We will get
- 31:07Speaker 1: another scoreboard update after this. The topic is fishing. According
- 31:12Speaker 1: to the World Wildlife Fund, this is the smallest and
- 31:16Speaker 1: most abundant of the major commercial tuna species. According to
- 31:22Speaker 1: the World Wildlife Fund, this is the smallest and most
- 31:25Speaker 1: abundant of the major commercial tuna species. Confident Room, so far,
- 31:37Speaker 1: I think you got this one, Kimmy, I really hope.
- 31:41Speaker 1: So this one plays to kimmy strengths. Right, does everybody
- 31:44Speaker 1: have an answer? It's gonna be crushing. Go ahead and
- 31:49Speaker 1: reveal your answers. We have Cal saying albacore, Kevin saying albacore, Chester,
- 31:53Speaker 1: You're saying Bonita, Steve saying yellow fin, Hunters saying yellow fin,
- 31:58Speaker 1: Kimmy saying skip Jack, Brodie saying elbecre, Korn saying skip Jack,
- 32:02Speaker 1: and Sean saying Bonita. The correct answer is skip Jack.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Damn it. I don't know how just Kimmy and is
- 32:12Speaker 1: crushing right now. Although their meat isn't this prize? Oh yeah,
- 32:20Speaker 1: all I've ever reading about is how damn any yellow
- 32:23Speaker 1: finner out there and how there's more than ever and true.
- 32:26Speaker 1: But what's the difference between skip Jack and albucore. They're
- 32:29Speaker 1: two different spec Although their meat isn't this prizes other
- 32:32Speaker 1: types of tuna, Kimmy Werner has all kinds of great
- 32:35Speaker 1: ways to cook them. If you go to her YouTube
- 32:36Speaker 1: channel and type in skip Jack tuna, you'll see how
- 32:40Speaker 1: she serves the fish for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It
- 32:43Speaker 1: was a great video. I mean, if well, we got
- 32:47Speaker 1: a scoreboard update. Let's let's hear the scoreboard update from Phil.
- 32:51Speaker 1: I once caught skip Jack on a spinning rod and
- 32:54Speaker 1: then I'm Marylina eat him more. You can get it
- 32:57Speaker 1: back to the boat from Marlin. Yeah, if I would
- 33:01Speaker 1: have seen it again. Does anyone know if albacore is
- 33:06Speaker 1: the same as Bonita ABC It is not, and Bonita
- 33:10Speaker 1: is not the same as skipjack either. What's star kiss?
- 33:14Speaker 1: Is that alpbor? Well they have it's a it's something
- 33:21Speaker 1: like a wavy tuna, I think they call it, but
- 33:25Speaker 1: it looks like a skipjack, but it's different. It's it's um.
- 33:28Speaker 1: It's bloodier, even bloodier than a skipjack, and skipjack is
- 33:32Speaker 1: like what most cans a tuna are. But they do
- 33:34Speaker 1: have cans that are albucorn. They'll be marked albacorn and
- 33:37Speaker 1: it's lighter and drier. Yeah, alright. Final score ward update
- 33:41Speaker 1: for the April first battle in Bozeman. Stephen Ranella is
- 33:46Speaker 1: in third place five points, My goodness, Brody Henderson has
- 33:50Speaker 1: six and in first place is Corin with seven points.
- 33:55Speaker 1: We have two questions. Question nine. The topic is forging.
- 34:00Speaker 1: This next great question comes to us via ben Arisman.
- 34:03Speaker 1: If you have a question you think is right for
- 34:04Speaker 1: meat Eator Trivia, you can send it to trivia to
- 34:06Speaker 1: meadator dot com. What foraged item has the nickname green
- 34:11Speaker 1: gold because it's worth about five hundred dollars per pound.
- 34:16Speaker 1: What foraged item goes by the nickname green gold because
- 34:21Speaker 1: it's worth about five hundred dollars per pound. God, it
- 34:24Speaker 1: hate to be Kevin on this one. Really think about
- 34:31Speaker 1: this again. It's referred to as green gold and it's
- 34:36Speaker 1: worth five hundred dollars per pound. A fairly stumped room.
- 34:43Speaker 1: So far, has anybody written down in answer? I have
- 34:51Speaker 1: one special against all y'all? Yeah, oh don't. That is
- 35:09Speaker 1: total infraction. Look at all this. We need a new question.
- 35:15Speaker 1: After Cal said that, about four people went to their
- 35:18Speaker 1: white board. That is total and that's like we need
- 35:24Speaker 1: to start penalizing. You know, I am gonna take you
- 35:29Speaker 1: can't start cheating point of order. You know, I think
- 35:35Speaker 1: I think most folks think of Cal is being a
- 35:37Speaker 1: quiet guy, but we can't help himself. Does anybody have
- 35:43Speaker 1: an answer? Mine's not right? Everybody does, go ahead and
- 35:47Speaker 1: reveal your answers. We have Cal saying what does that say? Cal,
- 35:52Speaker 1: Kevin saying Jesse without an answer. H Steve saying Jin
- 35:57Speaker 1: Sing Jin singin Sing Bros Saying ramps, I didn't change
- 36:03Speaker 1: mine after the infraction, Rant saying Jin sing exclamation point
- 36:08Speaker 1: and Sean saying jin sing. The correct answer is jin sing.
- 36:13Speaker 1: That five hundred dollars per pound is the dehydrated way.
- 36:17Speaker 1: It takes out, like you know what they had to
- 36:21Speaker 1: do the Nuremberg trials or the people in the You
- 36:27Speaker 1: have to do the trial in a glass box. The
- 36:29Speaker 1: box so people can't hear what you're rant and raven
- 36:32Speaker 1: about County's a plague in a box. He can sit
- 36:35Speaker 1: outside the studio and just look at us. Now, that
- 36:39Speaker 1: five hundred dollars per pounds is the dehydrated way. It
- 36:42Speaker 1: takes about three pounds of wet jin sing to get
- 36:44Speaker 1: a pound of dry jin sing. Some states categorize jin
- 36:48Speaker 1: sing as endangered, while others listed as vulnerable or threatened.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Population declines have been credited to overharvest by humans and
- 36:56Speaker 1: booming herds of white tails. And you don't feel like
- 36:59Speaker 1: that dehydrated detail was important enough to include in there? No? Oh,
- 37:03Speaker 1: you know what I little feedback constructive feedback oka, um,
- 37:08Speaker 1: you know how you do that little tidbit after where
- 37:10Speaker 1: he tells something interesting. Yeah, I would include it about
- 37:13Speaker 1: when Daniel Boone lost a fortune of jin saying, oh,
- 37:17Speaker 1: tell us about it. He like spent all his time
- 37:20Speaker 1: digging and buying Jin sang and put it in a
- 37:23Speaker 1: keel boat and swamp the keel boat and lost a
- 37:26Speaker 1: fortune of it. It was one of his one of
- 37:28Speaker 1: his several major financial calamities that mate turned him into
- 37:33Speaker 1: a poor man. Well, he tried to dry it out.
- 37:36Speaker 1: He tried to dry it out in the bank, but
- 37:38Speaker 1: it was just lost some of it. We have one
- 37:41Speaker 1: question left, give us another scoreboard update, phil col Karin's
- 37:47Speaker 1: got it in the bag. She has eight points and
- 37:49Speaker 1: Berdie and Steve have six. But Berdie and Steve are
- 37:52Speaker 1: tied up, so they I think they still need to
- 37:54Speaker 1: play this out. So we still got the Battle of
- 37:56Speaker 1: Bozeman going on here. Where did Krinn come from? Chris
- 38:00Speaker 1: has never even been on my radar? I got six? Five?
- 38:07Speaker 1: Oh you did? Oh, I don't know. You had some
- 38:08Speaker 1: strong performances. Yeah, you just weren't paying attention. The last question,
- 38:12Speaker 1: which Karann has already wrapped this up, but again, the
- 38:14Speaker 1: Battle of Bozeman between Brody and Steve can still be
- 38:16Speaker 1: decided here. The topic is conservation. What Great Lake state
- 38:22Speaker 1: has the most plants and animals on the endangered species list?
- 38:27Speaker 1: What Great Lake state has the most plants and animals
- 38:30Speaker 1: on the endangered species list. To specify, that means it
- 38:33Speaker 1: is a state that touches a great lake. What great
- 38:39Speaker 1: lake state has the most plants and animals on the
- 38:43Speaker 1: endangered species list? The room is just playing for second
- 38:46Speaker 1: place while Karann thinks about where she's going to donate
- 38:50Speaker 1: her five hundred dollars. That's a great question, A good question.
- 38:56Speaker 1: I had to work hard to find. This took a
- 38:59Speaker 1: lot of mining of the inner Hmm. Does everybody have
- 39:04Speaker 1: an answer? Yeah? I do everybody else. It's a great question.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Cal is he racing rewriting? You want to give out
- 39:14Speaker 1: a hint to your cal, you want to do it
- 39:16Speaker 1: in fraction. I'll tell you what the most fresh freshwater muscles.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Go ahead and reveal your answers. We got Cal saying Ohio,
- 39:34Speaker 1: Kevin saying New York, Chester saying Wisconsin, Steve saying New York,
- 39:38Speaker 1: Hunter saying Minnesota, Kimmy saying Michigan, Brody saying New York.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Krin without answer, couldn't think of a great lakes staaten
- 39:47Speaker 1: Sean saying Michigan. The correct answer, which nobody got, is Illinois.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Illinois is one species that are believed to live in
- 40:02Speaker 1: the state. That's followed by Indiana with eighteen, Ohio with fifteen,
- 40:07Speaker 1: New York, Michigan, and Wisconsin with twelve, Minnesota with ten,
- 40:11Speaker 1: in Pennsylvania with nine. Yeah, let me tell you something.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Now Here's why that's a trick question. Huh. Illinois is
- 40:21Speaker 1: scoring all that because of the river. It's not scoring
- 40:24Speaker 1: that because of Lake Michigan. What What's what's the because
- 40:30Speaker 1: I'm sending people down a path of thinking about the lakes.
- 40:33Speaker 1: The problem is this is an accurate question. Yeah, I
- 40:37Speaker 1: p New York because it had a coastline's for that reason.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Question either way? You know how when to famous boxers
- 40:48Speaker 1: fight to a draw? No, I don't know. The decision
- 40:55Speaker 1: they go to a decision is ourn were you? Were
- 40:58Speaker 1: you able to score as high as you did? But
- 41:00Speaker 1: then you don't know any states that border the Great Lakes.
- 41:03Speaker 1: She didn't want to rub it in, Karn. This is
- 41:06Speaker 1: such a letdown, Chris, not here to guess, Karn, where
- 41:12Speaker 1: are you going to donate your five? Hold on, hold on, Kren.
- 41:15Speaker 1: I actually prepared some audio just in case this ever happened,
- 41:19Speaker 1: and man, I'm thrilled that it did. Grin you just
- 41:25Speaker 1: want me eat trivia. Is there anyone you'd like to thank? Oh?
- 41:28Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you everyone. I would like to thank
- 41:32Speaker 1: my parents, my dog, and our very own Spencer new
- 41:37Speaker 1: Hearth for giving you the answers. It's happy, april ful,
- 41:40Speaker 1: stony good ones. It's it's unprecedented people have this reaction.
- 41:59Speaker 1: I thought she had dinner the whole time. Now, if
- 42:04Speaker 1: we want to see who would win between Steven Brody,
- 42:07Speaker 1: I have a tie breaker ready, since you guys tied
- 42:09Speaker 1: with six? Correct? Did anybody else get six? Okay, so
- 42:13Speaker 1: we're gonna put you guys to a tiebreaker, right, It's
- 42:15Speaker 1: back to us being back to you guys. Karini's gonna
- 42:18Speaker 1: pick the money goes. But I think this is so
- 42:22Speaker 1: rigged to the April Battle of Bozeman. Are you guys ready? Yeah?
- 42:29Speaker 1: I hate these, by the way, the questions just like,

- 42:38Speaker 1: Karin's picking? You guys are ready? Yeah? Is everyone playing
- 42:44Speaker 1: for fun? Yeah? You play? Do whatever you want. The
- 42:46Speaker 1: only to the matter of Brody and Steeve. I have
- 42:49Speaker 1: a list in front of me of the four hundred
- 42:51Speaker 1: tallest mountains in North America. Here's what we're gonna do
- 42:54Speaker 1: for the tiebreaker? Start over? Okay, I got it, I
- 42:57Speaker 1: got it. I have a list in front of me
- 43:01Speaker 1: of the four hundred tallest mountains in North America. Here's
- 43:04Speaker 1: what we're gonna do for the tiebreaker. You were going
- 43:06Speaker 1: to write down the two tallest mountains you can think
- 43:08Speaker 1: of on the continent. We will then add up the
- 43:11Speaker 1: elevation for both, and whoever has the highest number will
- 43:14Speaker 1: be declared the winner. If you both happen right down
- 43:16Speaker 1: the same mountains, then we will keep going until someone
- 43:19Speaker 1: is victorious. So Brody and Steve writing down the tallest
- 43:23Speaker 1: mountains of the thing. Think of see who gets second place?
- 43:26Speaker 1: To kren promise, I don't know. I want to say it, Steve,
- 43:33Speaker 1: will good Man the two highest. That's a great question.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Who came up with that? Me? That's a great question.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Now let's gonna take a second. I'm gonna have to
- 43:49Speaker 1: add these up once you guys reveal. Brodie, how are
- 43:51Speaker 1: you doing? I don't know. You got two written down? Yeah, Steve,
- 43:59Speaker 1: I don't know if they're two different mountains? Do you
- 44:01Speaker 1: have two written yeah? They're different? Okay, we will have
- 44:05Speaker 1: Brody reveal first. Show me so I can add up
- 44:09Speaker 1: what your elevation is. He says, Denali, which is the
- 44:12Speaker 1: tallest mountain on the continent that he screwed up, but
- 44:15Speaker 1: he messed up is the same mountain. So we don't
- 44:20Speaker 1: even need to add these up. Steve says Denali and
- 44:23Speaker 1: Pikes let me find well, No, take Denali and that's
- 44:26Speaker 1: his number. No, I mean that's my number. Let's see
- 44:30Speaker 1: how much better my number was, Pike. Pikes is fifty
- 44:35Speaker 1: third on the list, making you the winner by fourteen
- 44:38Speaker 1: thousand feet. Congratulations, So we have karnn is the winner.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Second place. Steve, so Krinn. Where does my money go? Right?
- 44:50Speaker 1: Better where we got? I'd like it to go to
- 44:53Speaker 1: the Land Access Initiative or TRCP oh. I was going
- 44:57Speaker 1: to suggest Rough Else Society, but maybe we should throw
- 45:02Speaker 1: it to be happy about that. How do you feel,
- 45:06Speaker 1: Steve access? Hey, Rough Growls Society is doing great work
- 45:11Speaker 1: on the North American Grasslands conservation. We've never donated any money.
- 45:15Speaker 1: You haven't donated any money. There it be strong rough girls,
- 45:20Speaker 1: rose hold on. Now, last time we played, you weren't
- 45:25Speaker 1: satisfied with my sign off. So I came up with
