- 0:36Speaker 1: In our journey of faith, we are called to walk
- 0:39Speaker 1: by faith, not by sight Second Corinthians five, verse seven. Yet,
- 0:45Speaker 1: as believers, we are also granted the privilege of spiritual perception,
- 0:50Speaker 1: a divine ability to see beyond the physical realm into
- 0:53Speaker 1: the depths of God's kingdom.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Just as the.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Prophet Alisha prayed for his servant's eyes to be open
- 1:00Speaker 1: to see the spiritual realities surrounding them Second king six,
- 1:04Speaker 1: verse seventeen, so two are we invited to activate our
- 1:08Speaker 1: spiritual eyes to discern the truth and presence of God
- 1:12Speaker 1: in our lives. The scriptures are replete with examples of
- 1:16Speaker 1: individuals whose spiritual eyes were open to behold God's glory
- 1:20Speaker 1: and receive divine revelation. Consider Moses, who encountered the burning
- 1:26Speaker 1: Bush and received God's call to deliver his people from
- 1:29Speaker 1: bondage Exodus three, verses one to ten. In that moment,
- 1:34Speaker 1: Moses's eyes were open to perceive the holy ground upon
- 1:37Speaker 1: which he stood, and he entered into a profound encounter
- 1:41Speaker 1: with the Almighty. Likewise, the prophet Isaiah beheld a vision
- 1:46Speaker 1: of the Lord seated on a throne high and exalted,
- 1:49Speaker 1: with Seraphim calling out, Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord
- 1:55Speaker 1: Almighty Isaiah six, Verses one to three. In the presence
- 1:59Speaker 1: of god glory, Isaiah's eyes were open to his own sinfulness,
- 2:04Speaker 1: yet he was cleansed in commission to proclaim God's message
- 2:07Speaker 1: to the nations. Even in the New Testament, we witnessed
- 2:12Speaker 1: the transformative power of spiritual vision. On the road to Damascus,
- 2:17Speaker 1: Saul of Tarsus encountered the risen Christ in a blinding light,
- 2:21Speaker 1: and his physical sight was temporarily taken away. Yet in
- 2:26Speaker 1: that moment of darkness, Saul's spiritual eyes were open to
- 2:30Speaker 1: the reality of Jesus as the son of God Acts nine,
- 2:34Speaker 1: verses one to nine. As followers of Christ, we are
- 2:38Speaker 1: called to cultivate our spiritual vision to see beyond the
- 2:42Speaker 1: natural realm and perceive the mysteries of God's kingdom. Here
- 2:46Speaker 1: are three ways to activate your spiritual eyes, which move
- 2:50Speaker 1: your life to the next level of victory and success.
- 2:54Speaker 1: One seeking God through prayer and meditation. Scripture tells us
- 2:58Speaker 1: in Matthew seven, verse seven, Ask and it will be
- 3:02Speaker 1: given to you. Seek and you will find. Knock and
- 3:07Speaker 1: it will be open to you. Through prayer, we commune
- 3:10Speaker 1: with God, aligning our hearts with his will. Prayer is
- 3:14Speaker 1: not merely a religious ritual, but a powerful means of
- 3:17Speaker 1: connecting with the Almighty. In the Old Testament, we see
- 3:21Speaker 1: numerous examples of individuals who sought God diligently through prayer
- 3:26Speaker 1: and experienced his faithfulness. Abraham, the Father of Faith, demonstrated
- 3:32Speaker 1: the power of persistent prayer when he interceded for the
- 3:35Speaker 1: city of Sodom, pleading with God to spirit if righteous
- 3:39Speaker 1: people could be found Genesis eighteen, verses twenty two to
- 3:44Speaker 1: thirty three. Despite bargaining with God, Abraham's heart was aligned
- 3:49Speaker 1: with God's justice and mercy, showing the importance of aligning
- 3:53Speaker 1: our prayers with God's will. Similarly, King David, described as
- 3:58Speaker 1: a man after God's own heart, poured out his soul
- 4:02Speaker 1: before the Lord in times of distress and triumph. In
- 4:05Speaker 1: Psalm twenty seven, verse eight, David cries out my heart,
- 4:09Speaker 1: says of you seek his face, Your face, Lord, I
- 4:14Speaker 1: will seek. David's intimate relationship with God was cultivated through
- 4:19Speaker 1: earnest prayer and meditation on God's word. The prophet Daniel
- 4:24Speaker 1: exemplifies the power of consistent prayer in the face of adversity.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Despite facing persecution for his faith, Daniel remained steadfast in
- 4:34Speaker 1: his commitment to prayer, even at the risk of his
- 4:37Speaker 1: life Daniel six, verse ten. Through his unwavering devotion, Daniel
- 4:42Speaker 1: experienced divine protection and revelation, as seen in his visions
- 4:47Speaker 1: and encounters with angels Daniel nine, verses twenty to twenty three.
- 4:52Speaker 1: In the New Testament, Jesus himself serves as the ultimate
- 4:56Speaker 1: example of prayer and communion with the Father. He often
- 5:00Speaker 1: withdrew to solitary places to pray Luke five, verse sixteen,
- 5:05Speaker 1: and spend entire nights in prayer before making significant decisions
- 5:10Speaker 1: Luke six verses twelve to thirteen. Jesus also taught his
- 5:14Speaker 1: disciples the importance of persistent prayer, illustrating this through the
- 5:19Speaker 1: parable of the Persistent Widow Luke eighteen, verses one to eight.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Through prayer, we not only align our hearts with God's will,
- 5:28Speaker 1: but also invite his presence and guidance into our lives.
- 5:32Speaker 1: As we seek God earnestly in prayer and meditation, let
- 5:35Speaker 1: us remember the words of James four verse eight. Draw
- 5:39Speaker 1: near to God, and He will draw near to you.
- 5:42Speaker 1: May our hearts be open to commune with the creator
- 5:45Speaker 1: of the universe, and may our spiritual eyes be open
- 5:49Speaker 1: to perceive His presence and purpose in our lives. Two.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Engaging with scripture on a daily basis Psalm one nineteen,
- 5:58Speaker 1: verse eighteen seid, As open my eyes that I may
- 6:02Speaker 1: behold wondrous things out of your law. By immersing ourselves
- 6:06Speaker 1: in scripture daily, we allow God to illuminate our understanding
- 6:10Speaker 1: and reveal his truth to us. The Bible is more
- 6:14Speaker 1: than just a book. It is God's living word, filled
- 6:17Speaker 1: with wisdom, guidance, and promises for his people throughout history.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Individuals who immersed themselves in scripture experience profound encounters with
- 6:28Speaker 1: God and gained insight into his character and purposes. One
- 6:33Speaker 1: notable example is King Josiah of Judah, who became king
- 6:37Speaker 1: at a young age and initiated a spiritual revival.
- 6:41Speaker 2: In the land.
- 6:42Speaker 1: When the Book of the Law was found in the
- 6:44Speaker 1: temple during renovations, Josiah recognized its significance and immediately took
- 6:50Speaker 1: action to obey its commands. Tewod Kings twenty two, verses
- 6:55Speaker 1: eight to thirteen. His response demonstrates the transformative power of
- 7:00Speaker 1: encountering God's word as it led to repentance and restoration
- 7:04Speaker 1: in the nation. Similarly, the brien Jews in Acts seventeen,
- 7:09Speaker 1: verse eleven are commended for their diligence in studying the
- 7:12Speaker 1: scriptures when they heard the message preached by Paul and Silas,
- 7:17Speaker 1: they examined the scriptures daily to see if what they
- 7:20Speaker 1: were being taught aligned with God's word. As a result,
- 7:24Speaker 1: many of them believed, showing the importance of engaging with
- 7:28Speaker 1: scripture to discern truth and deepen one's faith. My brothers
- 7:32Speaker 1: and sisters in Christ, today, I want to go with
- 7:35Speaker 1: you on a journey I call the spiritual. Since we
- 7:39Speaker 1: are created spirits, we need to activate the psalmist. David
- 7:43Speaker 1: also exemplified the value of meditating on God's word day
- 7:48Speaker 1: and night. In Psalm one, verses two to three, David writes,
- 7:52Speaker 1: but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
- 7:55Speaker 1: and on his law he meditates day and night. He
- 7:59Speaker 1: is like a t t replanted by streams of water,
- 8:02Speaker 1: which yields its fruit in season, and whose leaf does
- 8:05Speaker 1: not wither. Whatever he does prospers through consistent meditation on scripture,
- 8:11Speaker 1: David experienced spiritual nourishment and fruitfulness in his life. Jesus
- 8:17Speaker 1: himself modeled the importance of knowing and applying scripture. When
- 8:22Speaker 1: tempted by the devil in the wilderness, Jesus responded with
- 8:26Speaker 1: quotations from Deuteronomy affirming the authority and power of God's
- 8:31Speaker 1: word Matthew four, verses one to eleven. He also taught
- 8:36Speaker 1: his disciples to abide in his word, promising that those
- 8:39Speaker 1: who do so will know the truth and be set free.
- 8:43Speaker 1: John eight, verses thirty one to thirty two. As followers
- 8:47Speaker 1: of Christ, we are called to immerse ourselves in scripture,
- 8:51Speaker 1: allowing it to shape our thoughts, attitudes, and actions. Through
- 8:56Speaker 1: daily engagement with God's word, we open ourselves to His guidance, correction,
- 9:02Speaker 1: and encouragement. May we heed the Psalmist prayer in Psalm
- 9:05Speaker 1: one nineteen, verse one oh five. Your word is a
- 9:09Speaker 1: lamp from my feet, a light on my path, And
- 9:12Speaker 1: may our lives reflect the transformative power of God's word. Three.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Cultivating a spirit of discernment, Hebrews five, verse fourteen reminds us,
- 9:24Speaker 1: but solid food is for the mature, for those who
- 9:27Speaker 1: have their powers of discernment, trained by constant practice to
- 9:31Speaker 1: distinguish good from evil. As we grow in our relationship
- 9:35Speaker 1: with God, he equips us with the ability to discern
- 9:38Speaker 1: his voice amidst the noise of the world. Discernment is
- 9:42Speaker 1: crucial for navigating the complexities of life and making decisions
- 9:47Speaker 1: that align with God's will. Throughout Scripture we find examples
- 9:51Speaker 1: of individuals who sought and received discernment from God. King Solomon,
- 9:56Speaker 1: renowned for his wisdom, provides a striking exact example of
- 10:00Speaker 1: the importance of discernment. When God appeared to Solomon in
- 10:04Speaker 1: a dream and asked what he desired. Solomon requested wisdom
- 10:08Speaker 1: to govern God's people justly. First Kings three verse nine.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Impressed by Solomon's request, God granted him not only wisdom
- 10:18Speaker 1: but also riches an honor. Solomon's discerning judgment in the
- 10:22Speaker 1: famous case of the two women claiming to be the
- 10:25Speaker 1: mother of the same child, further demonstrates the practical application
- 10:29Speaker 1: of God given discernment. First Kings three, verses sixteen to
- 10:34Speaker 1: twenty eight. In the New Testament, the apostle James exhorts
- 10:39Speaker 1: believers to seek wisdom from God, promising that it will
- 10:42Speaker 1: be given generously to those who ask in faith James one,
- 10:46Speaker 1: verses five to six. This wisdom includes the ability to
- 10:51Speaker 1: discern between truth and falsehood, righteousness and wickedness. The apostle
- 10:57Speaker 1: Paul also prays for the Ephesian believer, asking God to
- 11:01Speaker 1: give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation so they
- 11:04Speaker 1: may know Him better and discern his will Ephesians won,
- 11:08Speaker 1: verses seventeen to eighteen. Jesus himself exemplified perfect discernment throughout
- 11:15Speaker 1: his earthly ministry. He was keenly attuned to the motives
- 11:19Speaker 1: and intentions of those around him, often exposing hypocrisy and
- 11:23Speaker 1: challenging religious leaders false teachings. Matthew twenty three, verses thirteen
- 11:29Speaker 1: to thirty six. Jesus also warned his disciples about false
- 11:34Speaker 1: prophets and instructed them to discern true from false teachings
- 11:38Speaker 1: by their fruits Matthew seven, verses fifteen to twenty. As
- 11:43Speaker 1: followers of Christ, we are called to cultivate a spirit
- 11:47Speaker 1: of discernment through prayer, study of God's word, and reliance
- 11:51Speaker 1: on the Holy Spirit. By aligning our hearts with God's
- 11:55Speaker 1: purposes and seeking his wisdom, we can navigate life's challenges
- 11:59Speaker 1: with go clarity and confidence. Let us heed the words
- 12:03Speaker 1: of Proverbs three verses five to six. Trust in the
- 12:06Speaker 1: Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your
- 12:09Speaker 1: own understanding. In all your ways. Submit to Him, and
- 12:13Speaker 1: He will make your path straight. May we, like Solomon,
- 12:17Speaker 1: earnestly pray for wisdom and discernment, trusting that God will
- 12:21Speaker 1: grant us clarity to distinguish good from evil and navigate
- 12:25Speaker 1: life's complexities according to His will. As we commit to
- 12:29Speaker 1: these practices, may our spiritual eyes be open to behold
- 12:33Speaker 1: the wonders of God's kingdom, and may we walk in
- 12:37Speaker 1: the light of His truth and grace. The journey of
- 12:40Speaker 1: faith is not merely about accumulating knowledge or performing religious rituals.
- 12:46Speaker 1: It is about experiencing the transformative power of God's presence
- 12:50Speaker 1: in our lives. When our spiritual eyes are opened, we
- 12:54Speaker 1: begin to see the world through the lens of God's kingdom,
- 12:58Speaker 1: discerning his hand at work and every every aspect of
- 13:01Speaker 1: our lives. In Psalm one nineteen, verse one oh five,
- 13:05Speaker 1: the Psalmist declares, your word is a lamp from my feet,
- 13:09Speaker 1: a light on my path. As we engage with scripture daily,
- 13:13Speaker 1: allowing its truth to penetrate our hearts and minds, we
- 13:17Speaker 1: are illuminated by the light of God's word, guiding us
- 13:21Speaker 1: on the path of righteousness. Just as the Psalmist found
- 13:25Speaker 1: guidance and direction in God's law, so two can we
- 13:28Speaker 1: experience the transformative power of God's word as we meditate
- 13:33Speaker 1: on it day and night, Psalm one, verses two to three. Furthermore,
- 13:39Speaker 1: in Isaiah six, verses one to three, Isaiah's encounter with
- 13:43Speaker 1: the glory of God and the Temple resulted in a
- 13:46Speaker 1: profound revelation of God's holiness. In the presence of the Almighty,
- 13:51Speaker 1: Isaiah's spiritual eyes were opened, and he became acutely aware
- 13:55Speaker 1: of his own sinfulness. Yet God's grace and mercy were
- 14:00Speaker 1: extended to him as he responded to God's call, saying,
- 14:04Speaker 1: here am I send me Isaiah six verse eight. When
- 14:08Speaker 1: we seek God in prayer and meditation, we position ourselves
- 14:12Speaker 1: to encounter His glory and experience his transformative power in
- 14:16Speaker 1: our lives. Moreover, in James one, verse five, we are
- 14:21Speaker 1: encouraged to ask God for wisdom, knowing that He gives
- 14:24Speaker 1: generously to all without finding fault. As we cultivate a
- 14:29Speaker 1: spirit of discernment through constant prayer and reliance on the
- 14:32Speaker 1: Holy Spirit, we are empowered to distinguish between truth and falsehood,
- 14:38Speaker 1: light and darkness. Like Solomon, who prayed for discernment to
- 14:42Speaker 1: govern God's people First Kings three, verse nine, let us
- 14:46Speaker 1: seek wisdom from above, trusting that God will grant us
- 14:50Speaker 1: clarity to navigate life's complexities according to his will. In conclusion,
- 14:55Speaker 1: may our commitment to seeking God through prayer, engaging with
- 14:59Speaker 1: script sure daily, and cultivating a spirit of discernment lead
- 15:03Speaker 1: to a deeper understanding of God's kingdom and a closer
- 15:07Speaker 1: walk with Him. As our spiritual eyes are open to
- 15:10Speaker 1: behold the wonders of God's kingdom, May we shine as
- 15:14Speaker 1: lights in a dark world, reflecting the truth and grace
- 15:18Speaker 1: of our Lord Jesus Christ to all those around us.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Mark eleven, verse twenty four says, Therefore, I say to you,
- 15:26Speaker 2: whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you
- 15:29Speaker 2: receive them and you will have them. Join me as
- 15:33Speaker 2: we go to the Lord in prayer. Open your heart
- 15:36Speaker 2: and believe so that the blessings of this prayer will
- 15:39Speaker 2: come to you. Say this prayer with faith. Dear Heavenly Father,
- 15:46Speaker 2: we humbly come before you today. You are the God
- 15:50Speaker 2: of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. You the Lord. You created
- 15:55Speaker 2: the earth and the heavens and all that is in them.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I give you all the praise and glory. Thank you,
- 16:03Speaker 2: God for everything you have done in my life. I'm
- 16:07Speaker 2: grateful for the good things and even the tough times.
- 16:11Speaker 2: You've been with me through it all, and for that
- 16:14Speaker 2: I say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
- 16:18Speaker 2: God of mercy and compassion. Please look with pity on me.
- 16:22Speaker 2: I know I have sin against you. I ask for
- 16:26Speaker 2: your forgiveness. Father, Lord, have mercy on my mistakes and failures,
- 16:33Speaker 2: every mistake I have done in word, action and deeds. Father,
- 16:38Speaker 2: forgive me for your word clearly says in First John one,
- 16:43Speaker 2: verse nine. If we confess our sins, he is faithful
- 16:47Speaker 2: and justin will forgive us our sins and purify us
- 16:50Speaker 2: from all unrighteousness. Thank you, Lord Jesus for forgiving me. Now.
- 16:56Speaker 2: In the name of Jesus, I declare the power of
- 16:59Speaker 2: God against any work of the enemy. Every secret agenda
- 17:03Speaker 2: the devil and his cohorts have plotted against me, be destroyed.
- 17:07Speaker 2: In Jesus Mighty name. Father, your words said Christ was
- 17:12Speaker 2: manifested that the works of the enemy might be destroyed.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Every work of the enemy against my marriage, my job,
- 17:20Speaker 2: my business, my career, my family and children be destroyed
- 17:25Speaker 2: in Jesus Mighty name. In Jesus Name, I declare fruitfulness
- 17:31Speaker 2: in every area of my life. Let the power of
- 17:34Speaker 2: Christ touch my life. So I bear fruit. I am
- 17:38Speaker 2: fruitful in my life, in my ministry, in my marriage,
- 17:42Speaker 2: in my business, in my career, in my job, and
- 17:46Speaker 2: in my finances. For the Lord gives us power to
- 17:49Speaker 2: make wealth. Let prosperity be my portion. In Jesus name,
- 17:55Speaker 2: I will not lack but have an abundance. Lord. I
- 17:59Speaker 2: want to with all my heart anything that hinders my service. Father,
- 18:05Speaker 2: deliver me. God Save me from myself. Save me from
- 18:10Speaker 2: people who will not lead me to you. Save me
- 18:13Speaker 2: from desires which are not godly, things which are not
- 18:16Speaker 2: in line with your word. Father, help me obey your word.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Sometimes the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Lord,
- 18:27Speaker 2: Make me strong, make me fervn in you. Restore unto me, Lord,
- 18:33Speaker 2: the joy of my salvation. Father, restore all the things
- 18:38Speaker 2: I have lost, either by my ignorance or carelessness. You
- 18:43Speaker 2: said in your word that the years the locust has
- 18:45Speaker 2: eaten in our lives, you will restore us. Thank you,
- 18:50Speaker 2: Lord for restoring me my family, my marriage, my career,
- 18:56Speaker 2: and my ministry. Father, you sent forth your word to
- 19:00Speaker 2: heal our diseases and sicknesses. I declare your healing from
- 19:05Speaker 2: the crown of my head to the saws of my feet. Father,
- 19:09Speaker 2: heal my family, friends and loved ones. Let your healing
- 19:14Speaker 2: be their portion too. I boldly declare that I am
- 19:18Speaker 2: a child of God. I walk in victory through faith.
- 19:23Speaker 2: I am the head and never the tail. I am
- 19:27Speaker 2: what God says I am in Jesus's mighty name. I
- 19:31Speaker 2: boldly declare some twenty three the Lord is my shepherd.
- 19:36Speaker 2: I shall not want he mocketh me to lie down
- 19:40Speaker 2: in green pastures. He letteth me beside the still waters.
- 19:45Speaker 2: He restoreth my soul. He letteth me in the paths
- 19:48Speaker 2: of righteousness for his Name's sake. Yeah, though I walk
- 19:52Speaker 2: through the valley of the shadow of death, I will
- 19:55Speaker 2: fear no evil. For Thou art with me, Thy rod
- 19:58Speaker 2: and thy staff, they come from me. Thou preparest a
- 20:02Speaker 2: table before me in the presence of mine enemies. Thou
- 20:05Speaker 2: anointest my head with oil. My cup runneth over. Surely,
- 20:10Speaker 2: goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of
- 20:13Speaker 2: my life, and I will dwell in the house of
- 20:16Speaker 2: the Lord forever. Thank you, my Father God, for hearing
- 20:21Speaker 2: my prayer and answering my prayer. Amen, As this message
