  You

  grads
• 1:04
  are

  5%
• 1:05
  of

• 1:07
  than
• 1:07

• 1:08
  their
• 1:08

  of

  unemployment.
• 1:10
  Talk
• 1:10
  about
• 1:11
  chemistry
• 1:11
  majors.
• 1:12
  They

• 1:14
  grads.
• 1:15
  The
• 1:15
  unemployment
• 1:16
  there
• 1:16
  is
• 1:16
  pushing
• 1:17
  over
• 1:17
  6%.
• 1:19
  And
• 1:19
  listen
• 1:19
  to
• 1:19
  this.
• 1:20
  The
• 1:20
  average
• 1:21
  student
• 1:21
  loan
• 1:21
  Balance
• 1:22
  is
• 1:23
  at
• 1:23
  $39,375.
• 1:27
  That's
• 1:27
  nearly
• 1:27
  double
• 1:28
  what
• 1:28
  it
• 1:28
  was
• 1:28
  in
• 1:28
  2008.
• 1:31
  The
• 1:31
  formula
• 1:31
  they
• 1:31
  sold
• 1:32
  you,
• 1:32
  it's
• 1:33
  cracking.
• 1:34
  63%
• 1:35
  of
• 1:35
  registered
• 1:36
  voters
• 1:36
  now
• 1:36
  say
• 1:37
  a
• 1:37
  four
• 1:37
  year
• 1:37
  degree
• 1:38
  isn't
• 1:38
  worth
• 1:39
  the
• 1:39
  cost.
• 1:39
  That's
• 1:40
  up
• 1:40
  from
• 1:40
  40%
• 1:41
  in
• 1:41
  2013.
• 1:43
  Now
• 1:43
  maybe
• 1:43
  right
• 1:44
  now
• 1:44
  that's
• 1:44
  your
• 1:44
  story.
• 1:45
  Or
• 1:46
  maybe
• 1:46
  you're
• 1:46
  one
• 1:46
  of
• 1:46
  those
• 1:47
  folks
• 1:47
  who
• 1:47
  saw
• 1:47
  it
• 1:48
  coming
• 1:48
  and
• 1:48
  you
• 1:48
  skipped
• 1:49
  college
• 1:49
  altogether
• 1:50
  because
• 1:50
  the
• 1:50
  bill
• 1:50
  wasn't
• 1:51
  worth
• 1:51
  the
• 1:51
  promise.
• 1:53
  Factor
• 1:53
  in
• 1:53
  loan
• 1:54
  interest
• 1:54
  and
• 1:54
  lost
• 1:54
  income
• 1:55
  and
• 1:55
  that
• 1:56
  bachelor's
• 1:56
  degree
• 1:56
  can
• 1:57
  cost
• 1:57
  upward
• 1:57
  of
• 1:57
  a
• 1:58
  half
• 1:58
  a
• 1:58
  million
• 1:58
  dollars.
• 2:00
  A
• 2:00
  half
• 2:01
  a
• 2:01
  million
• 2:01
  dollars
• 2:02
  for
• 2:02
  a
• 2:02
  piece
• 2:02
  of
• 2:02
  paper
• 2:03
  and
• 2:03
  a
• 2:03
  prayer.
• 2:05
  Either
• 2:05
  way,
• 2:05
  you've
• 2:06
  got
• 2:06
  a
• 2:06
  real
• 2:06
  question
• 2:07
  sitting
• 2:07
  on
• 2:07
  you
• 2:07
  right
• 2:08
  now.
• 2:08
  Does
• 2:09
  a
• 2:09
  degree
• 2:09
  even
• 2:09
  matter?
• 2:10
  Can
• 2:10
  you
• 2:11
  build
• 2:11
  a
• 2:11
  real
• 2:11
  career
• 2:12
  without
• 2:12
  one?
• 2:13
  And
• 2:13
  here's
• 2:14
  the
• 2:14
  honest
• 2:14
  answer
• 2:14
  before
• 2:15
  we
• 2:15
  even
• 2:15
  get
• 2:15
  rolling
• 2:15
  today.
• 2:17
  It's
• 2:17
  complicated
• 2:18
  because
• 2:19
  there's
• 2:19
  nuances
• 2:19
  here.
• 2:20
  College
• 2:21
  grads
• 2:21
  still
• 2:22
  out
• 2:22
  earn
• 2:22
  non
• 2:22
  grads
• 2:23
  by
• 2:23
  about
• 2:24
  $10,400
• 2:25
  a
• 2:25
  year
• 2:25
  on
• 2:25
  average,
• 2:26
  each,
• 2:26
  even
• 2:27
  after
• 2:27
  the
• 2:27
  debt
• 2:27
  payments.
• 2:29
  But
• 2:29
  adjusted
• 2:29
  for
• 2:30
  inflation,
• 2:31
  college
• 2:31
  grad
• 2:31
  workers
• 2:32
  are
• 2:32
  earning
• 2:32
  less
• 2:33
  than
• 2:33
  they
• 2:33
  did
• 2:33
  five
• 2:33
  years
• 2:34
  ago,
• 2:34
  while
• 2:35
  workers
• 2:35
  without
• 2:36
  degrees
• 2:36
  are
• 2:36
  making
• 2:37
  more.
• 2:38
  The
• 2:38
  gap
• 2:39
  is
• 2:39
  closing,
• 2:40
  the
• 2:40
  rules
• 2:40
  are
• 2:41
  changing.
• 2:41
  And
• 2:42
  the
• 2:42
  decision
• 2:42
  you
• 2:43
  make
• 2:43
  about
• 2:43
  education
• 2:44
  and
• 2:44
  debt,
• 2:44
  that's
• 2:45
  one
• 2:45
  of
• 2:45
  the
• 2:45
  biggest
• 2:46
  financial
• 2:46
  calls
• 2:46
  of
• 2:47
  your
• 2:47
  life.
• 2:48
  So
• 2:48
  let's
• 2:48
  break
• 2:48
  it
• 2:48
  down
• 2:49
  together
• 2:49
  right
• 2:49
  now
• 2:50
  on
• 2:50
  today's
• 2:50
  show.
• 3:00
  Hello
• 3:00
  and
• 3:00
  welcome
• 3:01
  to
• 3:01
  Financially
• 3:02
  Confident
• 3:02
  Christian.
• 3:03
  I'm
• 3:03
  Ralph
• 3:03
  Estep
• 3:04
  Jr.
• 3:05
  And
• 3:05
  today's
• 3:05
  question
• 3:06
  is
• 3:06
  a
• 3:06
  college
• 3:07
  degree
• 3:07
  still
• 3:08
  the
• 3:08
  path
• 3:08
  to
• 3:08
  a
• 3:08
  stable
• 3:09
  career?
• 3:09
  And
• 3:10
  we've
• 3:10
  got
• 3:10
  a
• 3:10
  great
• 3:10
  listener
• 3:11
  message
• 3:12
  today.
• 3:12
  And
• 3:13
  this
• 3:13
  message
• 3:13
  isn't
• 3:14
  about
• 3:14
  a
• 3:14
  pep
• 3:14
  talk.
• 3:15
  It's
• 3:15
  what's
• 3:16
  the
• 3:16
  actual
• 3:17
  truth
• 3:17
  on
• 3:17
  the
• 3:17
  ground?
• 3:19
  She's
• 3:19
  watching.
• 3:19
  Degrees
• 3:20
  cost
• 3:20
  more
• 3:20
  and
• 3:21
  more
• 3:21
  and
• 3:21
  deliver
• 3:21
  less
• 3:22
  than
• 3:22
  they
• 3:22
  used
• 3:22
  to.
• 3:23
  So
• 3:23
  my
• 3:24
  goal
• 3:24
  today
• 3:24
  is
• 3:24
  let's
• 3:25
  talk
• 3:25
  about
• 3:25
  what
• 3:25
  the
• 3:25
  data
• 3:26
  shows,
• 3:26
  what's
• 3:27
  changed
• 3:27
  and
• 3:28
  and
• 3:28
  how
• 3:28
  to
• 3:28
  make
• 3:28
  the
• 3:29
  best
• 3:29
  decision
• 3:29
  for
• 3:29
  yourself.
• 3:30
  Let's
• 3:31
  get
• 3:31
  right
• 3:31
  to
• 3:31
  today's
• 3:31
  listener
• 3:32
  question.
• 3:33
  Listener

• 3:33
  this
• 3:34
  hi
• 3:34
  Ralph,
• 3:34
  I

  or
• 3:39

• 3:40
  aren't
• 3:41
  finding
• 3:41
  jobs,
• 3:42
  aren't
• 3:42
  in
• 3:42
  dire
• 3:43
  straits
• 3:43
  looking
• 3:43
  for
• 3:43

• 3:44
  This
• 3:45
  doesn't
• 3:45
  even
• 3:45
  seem
• 3:45
  possible
• 3:46
  to
• 3:46
  me.
• 3:47
  When
• 3:47
  I
• 3:47
  was
• 3:47
  younger,
• 3:48
  we
• 3:48
  were
• 3:48
  told
• 3:48
  that
• 3:49
  people
• 3:49
  in
• 3:49
  physical
• 3:50
  science
• 3:50
  and
• 3:51

• 3:52
  doing
• 3:52
  quite
• 3:53
  well
• 3:53
  career
• 3:53
  wise.
• 3:54
  I
• 3:55
  considered
• 3:55
  a
• 3:55
  master's
• 3:56
  degree
• 3:56
  in
• 3:56
  English
• 3:56
  for
• 3:57
  about
• 3:57
  seven
• 3:57
  years
• 3:58
  before
• 3:58
  I
• 3:58
  decided
• 3:59
  that
• 3:59
  it
• 3:59
  wouldn't
• 3:59
  add
• 3:59
  any
• 4:00
  more
• 4:00
  income
• 4:00
  to
• 4:00
  my
• 4:01

• 4:01
  than
• 4:01
  a
• 4:01
  B.A.
• 4:02
  In
• 4:02
  English.
• 4:03
  I
• 4:03
  work
• 4:04
  with
• 4:04
  an
• 4:04
  editor
• 4:04
  with
• 4:04
  my
• 4:05
  B.A.
• 4:05
  I
• 4:06
  was
• 4:06
  scared
• 4:06
  of
• 4:06
  adding
• 4:06
  debt
• 4:07
  to
• 4:07
  my
• 4:07
  plate.
• 4:08
  My
• 4:09
  husband
• 4:09
  went
• 4:09
  to
• 4:09
  college
• 4:09
  a
• 4:10
  short
• 4:10
  while,
• 4:10
  but
• 4:10
  his
• 4:11
  aviation
• 4:11
  training
• 4:11
  in
• 4:12
  the
• 4:12
  military
• 4:13
  is
• 4:13
  what
• 4:13
  gave
• 4:13
  him
• 4:13
  a
• 4:14

• 4:14
  after
• 4:14
  he
• 4:15
  left.
• 4:16
  Ralph,
• 4:16
  what
• 4:17
  is
• 4:17
  your
• 4:17
  experience
• 4:17
  or
• 4:18
  your
• 4:18
  opinion
• 4:18
  with
• 4:19
  getting
• 4:19
  a
• 4:19
  college
• 4:20
  degree
• 4:20
  these
• 4:20
  days?
• 4:21
  Thank
• 4:21
  you
• 4:21
  so
• 4:22
  much.
• 4:23
  Well,
• 4:23
  thank
• 4:23
  you
• 4:23
  so
• 4:23
  much
• 4:24
  for
• 4:24
  your
• 4:24
  question.
• 4:25
  And
• 4:25
  I
• 4:25
  want
• 4:26
  to
• 4:26
  start
• 4:26
  off
• 4:26
  by
• 4:26
  saying
• 4:26
  something
• 4:27
  rather
• 4:27
  bold.
• 4:28
  A
• 4:28
  degree
• 4:29
  today
• 4:30
  is
• 4:30
  not
• 4:30
  the
• 4:31
  same
• 4:31
  as
• 4:31
  it
• 4:31
  was
• 4:31
  20
• 4:32
  years
• 4:32
  ago.
• 4:33
  Now,
• 4:33
  I'm
• 4:33
  not
• 4:33
  telling
• 4:34
  you
• 4:34
  not
• 4:34
  to
• 4:34
  get
• 4:34
  one.
• 4:35
  There
• 4:36
  are
• 4:36
  still
• 4:36
  reasons
• 4:37
  to
• 4:37
  get
• 4:37
  a
• 4:37
  degree,
• 4:38
  but
• 4:39
  I
• 4:39
  think
• 4:39
  you've
• 4:39
  got
• 4:39
  to
• 4:39
  be
• 4:39
  smarter
• 4:40
  about
• 4:40
  which
• 4:40
  one
• 4:41
  and
• 4:41
  why.
• 4:41
  So
• 4:42
  let's
• 4:42
  talk
• 4:42
  about
• 4:42
  that
• 4:43
  on
• 4:43
  today's
• 4:43
  show.
• 4:44
  The
• 4:45
  first
• 4:45
  thing
• 4:45
  you've
• 4:45
  got
• 4:45
  to
• 4:45
  understand
• 4:46
  is
• 4:46
  what's
• 4:47
  changed.
• 4:48
  This
• 4:49
  is
• 4:49
  not
• 4:49
  the
• 4:49
  same
• 4:49
  economy
• 4:50
  that
• 4:50
  we
• 4:50
  were
• 4:50
  in
• 4:51
  five
• 4:51
  years
• 4:51
  ago,
• 4:52
  10
• 4:52
  years
• 4:52
  ago,
• 4:53
  or
• 4:53
  even
• 4:54
  20
• 4:54
  years
• 4:54
  ago.
• 4:55
  Right
• 4:55
  now,
• 4:56
  the
• 4:56
  market
• 4:56
  is
• 4:56
  flooded
• 4:57
  with
• 4:57
  more
• 4:57
  degrees
• 4:58
  and
• 4:58
  less
• 4:59
  scarcity
• 4:59
  of
• 4:59
  people
• 5:00
  that
• 5:00
  need
• 5:00
  to
• 5:00
  hire
• 5:01
  those
• 5:01
  folks.
• 5:02
  It
• 5:02
  used
• 5:03
  to
• 5:03
  be
• 5:03
  the
• 5:03
  old
• 5:04
  employer
• 5:04
  question
• 5:04
  was,
• 5:05
  does
• 5:05
  this
• 5:06
  person
• 5:06
  have
• 5:06
  knowledge?
• 5:08
  But
• 5:08
  it's
• 5:08
  not
• 5:08
  that
• 5:09
  way
• 5:09
  anymore.
• 5:10
  The
• 5:10
  new
• 5:10
  employer
• 5:11
  question
• 5:11
  is,
• 5:11
  can
• 5:11
  this
• 5:12
  person
• 5:12
  actually
• 5:13
  apply
• 5:13
  it?
• 5:14
  Do
• 5:14
  you
• 5:15
  understand
• 5:15
  the
• 5:15
  nuance
• 5:15
  there?
• 5:16
  We've
• 5:16
  gone
• 5:16
  from
• 5:17
  a
• 5:17
  place
• 5:17
  of
• 5:17
  do
• 5:18
  you
• 5:18
  have
• 5:18
  knowledge?
• 5:19
  To
• 5:19
  do
• 5:19
  you
• 5:20
  have
• 5:20
  the
• 5:20
  capacity
• 5:21
  and
• 5:21
  the
• 5:21
  ability
• 5:22
  to
• 5:22
  implement
• 5:23
  and
• 5:23
  apply
• 5:24
  that
• 5:24
  knowledge?
• 5:25
  It
• 5:25
  used
• 5:26
  to
• 5:26
  be
• 5:26
  if
• 5:26
  you
• 5:26
  got
• 5:26
  a
• 5:27
  chemistry
• 5:27
  degree,
• 5:28
  you
• 5:28
  get
• 5:28
  a
• 5:28
  chemistry
• 5:29
  job.
• 5:30
  They
• 5:30
  don't
• 5:30
  look
• 5:30
  at
• 5:30
  that
• 5:31
  anymore.
• 5:31
  They
• 5:31
  look
• 5:32
  at
• 5:32
  your
• 5:32
  ability
• 5:32
  to
• 5:33
  actually
• 5:33
  do
• 5:33
  the
• 5:34
  work.
• 5:34
  Look
• 5:34
  at
• 5:34
  your
• 5:34
  husband
• 5:35
  here
• 5:35
  in
• 5:35
  this
• 5:35
  particular
• 5:36
  question.
• 5:37
  Military
• 5:38
  training,
• 5:39
  no
• 5:39
  degree,
• 5:41
  same
• 5:41
  result.
• 5:43
  A
• 5:43
  degree
• 5:43
  in
• 5:44
  its
• 5:44
  very
• 5:44
  nature
• 5:45
  is
• 5:45
  knowledge
• 5:46
  in
• 5:46
  a
• 5:46
  box.
• 5:47
  A
• 5:47
  lot
• 5:47
  of
• 5:47
  people
• 5:48
  don't
• 5:48
  understand
• 5:48
  that,
• 5:48
  but
• 5:48
  that's
• 5:49
  what
• 5:49
  a
• 5:49
  degree
• 5:49
  is.
• 5:50
  The
• 5:51
  job
• 5:51
  requires
• 5:52
  proof
• 5:52
  you
• 5:52
  can
• 5:52
  use
• 5:53
  it.
• 5:54
  So
• 5:54
  before
• 5:54
  you
• 5:55
  do
• 5:55
  anything,
• 5:56
  run
• 5:56
  the
• 5:56
  numbers.
• 5:57
  Before
• 5:57
  you
• 5:57
  commit
• 5:58
  to
• 5:58
  this.
• 5:58
  Look
• 5:59
  at
• 5:59
  the
• 5:59
  average
• 6:00
  starting
• 6:00
  salary
• 6:00
  for
• 6:01
  that
• 6:01
  job
• 6:01
  or
• 6:01
  that
• 6:01
  career
• 6:02
  field
• 6:02
  you're
• 6:02
  going
• 6:02
  to
• 6:02
  get
• 6:02
  into.
• 6:03
  Don't
• 6:03
  look
• 6:03
  at
• 6:03
  the
• 6:04
  ceiling.
• 6:04
  A
• 6:04
  lot
• 6:04
  of
• 6:04
  people
• 6:04
  get
• 6:05
  stuck
• 6:05
  on.
• 6:05
  Well,
• 6:05
  here's
• 6:06
  how
• 6:06
  much
• 6:06
  I
• 6:06
  can
• 6:06
  earn.
• 6:07
  What
• 6:07
  is
• 6:07
  the
• 6:07
  average
• 6:08
  starting
• 6:09
  salary?
• 6:10
  Once
• 6:10
  you
• 6:10
  figure
• 6:11
  that
• 6:11
  out,
• 6:11
  look
• 6:12
  at
• 6:12
  the
• 6:12
  cost
• 6:12
  of
• 6:12
  tuition,
• 6:13
  look
• 6:14
  at
• 6:14
  the
• 6:14
  four
• 6:14
  years
• 6:14
  of
• 6:15
  lost
• 6:15
  wages.
• 6:16
  And
• 6:16
  don't
• 6:16
  forget,
• 6:17
  if
• 6:17
  you're
• 6:17
  borrowing
• 6:18
  money
• 6:18
  with
• 6:18
  student
• 6:18
  loan
• 6:19
  interest,
• 6:19
  you
• 6:19
  got
• 6:19
  to
• 6:20
  factor
• 6:20
  that
• 6:20
  into
• 6:20
  the
• 6:21
  equation
• 6:21
  as
• 6:21
  well.
• 6:22
  So
• 6:22
  now
• 6:22
  that
• 6:23
  you
• 6:23
  understand
• 6:23
  what
• 6:23
  the
• 6:24
  salary
• 6:24
  is
• 6:24
  going
• 6:24
  to
• 6:25
  be,
• 6:25
  you
• 6:25
  understand
• 6:26
  what
• 6:26
  the
• 6:26
  costs
• 6:26
  are
• 6:27
  going
• 6:27
  to
• 6:27
  be,
• 6:27
  then
• 6:27
  you
• 6:28
  can
• 6:28
  compare
• 6:28
  those
• 6:29
  real
• 6:29
  earnings
• 6:29
  in
• 6:30
  years
• 6:30
  one,
• 6:31
  in
• 6:31
  years
• 6:31
  two,
• 6:32
  and
• 6:32
  all
• 6:32
  that
• 6:33
  sort
• 6:33
  of
• 6:33
  thing
• 6:33
  up
• 6:33
  to
• 6:33
  year
• 6:34
  five.
• 6:35
  When
• 6:35
  I
• 6:35
  looked
• 6:35
  at
• 6:36
  the
• 6:36
  data,
• 6:36
  an
• 6:36
  engineering
• 6:37
  degree,
• 6:38
  it
• 6:38
  generally
• 6:38
  pays
• 6:39
  for
• 6:39
  itself
• 6:39
  in
• 6:39
  three
• 6:39
  or
• 6:40
  four
• 6:40
  years.
• 6:41
  But
• 6:41
  that
• 6:41
  history
• 6:42
  degree
• 6:42
  you're
• 6:42
  considering,
• 6:43
  it
• 6:43
  might
• 6:44
  never
• 6:44
  pay
• 6:44
  for
• 6:44
  itself
• 6:45
  in
• 6:45
  dollars.
• 6:46
  Now
• 6:46
  that
• 6:46
  doesn't
• 6:47
  mean
• 6:47
  it's
• 6:47
  wrong.
• 6:47
  It
• 6:48
  could
• 6:48
  be
• 6:48
  your
• 6:48
  passion.
• 6:49
  But
• 6:49
  you've
• 6:49
  got
• 6:50
  to
• 6:50
  understand
• 6:50
  that
• 6:51
  going
• 6:51
  into
• 6:51
  it.
• 6:52
  So
• 6:53
  run
• 6:53
  the
• 6:53
  numbers
• 6:53
  before
• 6:54
  you
• 6:54
  run
• 6:54
  into
• 6:54
  debt.
• 6:55
  That's
• 6:55
  a
• 6:55
  lot
• 6:55
  of
• 6:55
  people.
• 6:55
  Don't
• 6:56
  get
• 6:56
  that
• 6:56
  before
• 6:56
  you
• 6:57
  go
• 6:57
  take
• 6:57
  out
• 6:57
  those
• 6:58
  student
• 6:58
  loans.
• 6:59
  Understand
• 7:00
  the
• 7:00
  numbers.
• 7:01
  But
• 7:01
  here's
• 7:02
  the
• 7:02
  other
• 7:02
  key
• 7:02
  takeaway
• 7:03
  to
• 7:03
  this.
• 7:04
  What
• 7:04
  I
• 7:04
  said
• 7:04
  a
• 7:05
  little
• 7:05
  while
• 7:05
  ago
• 7:05
  about
• 7:05
  chemistry
• 7:06
  degree
• 7:06
  doesn't
• 7:07
  necessarily
• 7:08
  equal
• 7:08
  chemistry
• 7:08
  job
• 7:10
  while
• 7:10
  you're
• 7:10
  in
• 7:10
  school.
• 7:11
  You've
• 7:11
  got
• 7:11
  to
• 7:12
  build
• 7:12
  real
• 7:13
  work.
• 7:15
  Career
• 7:15
  and
• 7:15
  school
• 7:15
  aren't
• 7:16
  separate
• 7:16
  things
• 7:16
  anymore.
• 7:17
  What
• 7:18
  we're
• 7:18
  seeing
• 7:18
  is
• 7:19
  computer
• 7:19
  science
• 7:20
  majors
• 7:21
  are
• 7:21
  expected
• 7:21
  to
• 7:22
  build
• 7:22
  projects.
• 7:23
  They're
• 7:23
  expected
• 7:24
  to
• 7:24
  publish
• 7:24
  code.
• 7:25
  They're
• 7:25
  actually
• 7:25
  expected
• 7:26
  to
• 7:26
  have
• 7:26
  a
• 7:26
  portfolio
• 7:27
  while
• 7:27
  they're
• 7:28
  still
• 7:28
  in
• 7:28
  school.
• 7:29
  If
• 7:30
  you're
• 7:30
  a
• 7:30
  nursing
• 7:31
  major,
• 7:31
  guess
• 7:31
  what
• 7:32
  the
• 7:32
  schools
• 7:32
  are.
• 7:32
  Guess
• 7:32
  what
• 7:33
  the
• 7:33
  hospitals
• 7:33
  are
• 7:33
  looking
• 7:34
  for.
• 7:34
  They're
• 7:34
  looking
• 7:35
  for
• 7:35
  clinical
• 7:35
  hours
• 7:36
  to
• 7:36
  looking
• 7:36
  for
• 7:37
  internships.
• 7:39
  Graduates
• 7:39
  with
• 7:40
  three
• 7:40
  job
• 7:40
  offers
• 7:41
  on
• 7:41
  graduation
• 7:42
  day.
• 7:42
  That's
• 7:43
  what
• 7:43
  we're
• 7:43
  talking
• 7:43
  about.
• 7:44
  We're
• 7:44
  talking
• 7:44
  about
• 7:45
  building
• 7:45
  while
• 7:45
  you're
• 7:46
  studying.
• 7:47
  If
• 7:48
  you're
• 7:48
  in
• 7:48
  looking
• 7:49
  for
• 7:49
  a
• 7:49
  job
• 7:49
  in
• 7:49
  September,
• 7:51
  that's
• 7:51
  the
• 7:52
  you're
• 7:52
  already
• 7:52
  behind.
• 7:53
  Now
• 7:53
  you
• 7:53
  might
• 7:53
  say,
• 7:54
  ralph,
• 7:54
  that's
• 7:54
  not
• 7:54
  fair.
• 7:56
  But
• 7:56
  that's
• 7:56
  the
• 7:56
  real
• 7:56
  where
• 7:57
  we
• 7:57
  are.
• 7:58
  Because
• 7:58
  a
• 7:58
  resume
• 7:59
  without
• 7:59
  projects
• 8:00
  is
• 8:00
  just
• 8:01
  a
• 8:01
  piece
• 8:01
  of
• 8:01
  paper.
• 8:02
  And
• 8:02
  see,
• 8:02
  that's
• 8:02
  a
• 8:02
  big
• 8:02
  change
• 8:03
  as
• 8:03
  well.
• 8:04
  But
• 8:04
  here's
• 8:04
  the
• 8:05
  next
• 8:05
  thing
• 8:05
  you
• 8:05
  gotta
• 8:05
  understand.
• 8:06
  You
• 8:06
  got
• 8:07
  to
• 8:07
  know
• 8:07
  what
• 8:07
  your
• 8:07
  degree
• 8:08
  promises
• 8:09
  and
• 8:09
  have
• 8:09
  a
• 8:10
  plan
• 8:10
  for
• 8:10
  that
• 8:10
  before
• 8:11
  you
• 8:11
  graduate.
• 8:12
  When
• 8:12
  I
• 8:12
  broke
• 8:13
  this
• 8:13
  down,
• 8:13
  I
• 8:13
  really
• 8:14
  think
• 8:14
  there
• 8:14
  are
• 8:14
  two
• 8:14
  types
• 8:15
  of
• 8:15
  degrees.
• 8:16
  There's
• 8:16
  what
• 8:16
  I'll
• 8:16
  call
• 8:17
  a
• 8:17
  licensing
• 8:17
  degree
• 8:18
  and
• 8:18
  a
• 8:19
  filter
• 8:19
  degree.
• 8:20
  Let's
• 8:20
  talk
• 8:20
  about
• 8:21
  the
• 8:21
  licensing
• 8:21
  degrees
• 8:22
  first.
• 8:22
  You
• 8:23
  need
• 8:23
  them
• 8:23
  to
• 8:23
  do
• 8:23
  the
• 8:23
  work.
• 8:24
  Those
• 8:25
  are
• 8:25
  your
• 8:25
  engineering
• 8:26
  fields,
• 8:26
  your
• 8:27
  nursing
• 8:27
  fields,
• 8:28
  even
• 8:28
  the
• 8:28
  accounting
• 8:29
  field
• 8:29
  that
• 8:29
  I'm
• 8:29
  in.
• 8:31
  Your
• 8:31
  filter
• 8:31
  degrees
• 8:32
  are
• 8:33
  simply
• 8:33
  degrees
• 8:33
  where
• 8:34
  the
• 8:34
  employer
• 8:34
  wants
• 8:35
  proof
• 8:35
  you
• 8:35
  can
• 8:35
  finish
• 8:35
  hard
• 8:36
  things
• 8:37
  you
• 8:38
  can
• 8:38
  get
• 8:38
  through
• 8:38
  school
• 8:40
  when
• 8:40
  you're
• 8:40
  looking
• 8:41
  at
• 8:41
  a
• 8:41
  filter
• 8:41
  degree,
• 8:42
  the
• 8:42
  subject
• 8:43
  matter
• 8:43
  doesn't
• 8:43
  even
• 8:44
  matter
• 8:44
  that
• 8:44
  much.
• 8:45
  It
• 8:45
  just
• 8:45
  means
• 8:45
  can
• 8:46
  you
• 8:46
  survive
• 8:46
  to
• 8:47
  graduation.
• 8:49
  For
• 8:49
  example,
• 8:50
  let's
• 8:50
  say
• 8:50
  you
• 8:50
  get
• 8:50
  a
• 8:50
  business
• 8:51
  degree.
• 8:52
  If
• 8:52
  you
• 8:52
  get
• 8:52
  a
• 8:52
  business
• 8:53
  degree,
• 8:53
  that
• 8:53
  doesn't
• 8:53
  mean
• 8:54
  you
• 8:54
  automatically
• 8:55
  understand
• 8:55
  how
• 8:55
  to
• 8:55
  run
• 8:56
  a
• 8:56
  business.
• 8:57
  It
• 8:57
  just
• 8:58
  means
• 8:58
  you
• 8:58
  competed
• 8:59
  and
• 8:59
  you
• 8:59
  finished.
• 9:01
  And
• 9:01
  if
• 9:01
  your
• 9:01
  field
• 9:01
  doesn't
• 9:02
  require
• 9:02
  licensing,
• 9:03
  that's
• 9:03
  just
• 9:04
  a
• 9:04
  filter.
• 9:04
  That's
• 9:05
  not
• 9:05
  a
• 9:05
  guarantee.
• 9:07
  So
• 9:07
  as
• 9:07
  you're
• 9:07
  going
• 9:08
  to
• 9:08
  school,
• 9:08
  you
• 9:08
  got
• 9:09
  to
• 9:09
  build
• 9:09
  your
• 9:09
  network
• 9:10
  before
• 9:10
  you
• 9:10
  graduate.
• 9:12
  Find
• 9:12
  those
• 9:12
  mentors,
• 9:13
  find
• 9:14
  those
• 9:14
  professionals,
• 9:15
  find
• 9:15
  those
• 9:16
  people
• 9:16
  who
• 9:16
  know
• 9:16
  your
• 9:17
  work
• 9:17
  so
• 9:17
  that
• 9:17
  they
• 9:18
  can
• 9:18
  become
• 9:18
  references
• 9:19
  for
• 9:19
  you.
• 9:20
  And
• 9:20
  then
• 9:20
  know
• 9:21
  the
• 9:21
  companies
• 9:21
  that
• 9:21
  hire
• 9:22
  people
• 9:22
  in
• 9:22
  your
• 9:22
  field.
• 9:23
  Know
• 9:23
  the
• 9:23
  salary
• 9:24
  ranges
• 9:24
  and
• 9:25
  know
• 9:25
  the
• 9:25
  job
• 9:25
  titles
• 9:26
  while
• 9:26
  you're
• 9:26
  still
• 9:27
  in
• 9:27
  school.
• 9:28
  The
• 9:28
  problem
• 9:28
  is
• 9:29
  most
• 9:29
  students
• 9:29
  figure
• 9:30
  this
• 9:30
  out
• 9:30
  after
• 9:30
  graduation.
• 9:32
  My
• 9:32
  key
• 9:33
  takeaway
• 9:33
  today
• 9:33
  is
• 9:33
  do
• 9:34
  it
• 9:34
  before
• 9:35
  you
• 9:35
  got
• 9:35
  to
• 9:36
  know
• 9:36
  what
• 9:36
  your
• 9:36
  degree
• 9:36
  promises
• 9:37
  and
• 9:38
  have
• 9:38
  the
• 9:38
  plan
• 9:38
  ready
• 9:39
  before
• 9:39
  you
• 9:39
  leave.
• 9:41
  Now
• 9:41
  I
• 9:41
  want
• 9:41
  to
• 9:41
  sit
• 9:42
  here
• 9:42
  for
• 9:42
  a
• 9:42
  second
• 9:42
  with
• 9:42
  something
• 9:43
  deeper
• 9:43
  than
• 9:43
  the
• 9:44
  numbers.
• 9:44
  I
• 9:44
  know
• 9:45
  we've
• 9:45
  taken
• 9:45
  a
• 9:45
  little
• 9:45
  dive
• 9:46
  into
• 9:46
  numbers,
• 9:47
  but
• 9:47
  underneath
• 9:48
  our
• 9:48
  listeners
• 9:49
  practical
• 9:49
  question
• 9:50
  is
• 9:50
  something
• 9:50
  real.
• 9:52
  And
• 9:52
  when
• 9:52
  we
• 9:52
  pull
• 9:52
  back
• 9:53
  the
• 9:53
  curtain,
• 9:53
  it's
• 9:54
  actually
• 9:54
  a
• 9:54
  trust
• 9:54
  question.
• 9:56
  If
• 9:56
  you
• 9:56
  think
• 9:56
  about
• 9:57
  it,
• 9:57
  so
• 9:57
  many
• 9:57
  of
• 9:57
  us
• 9:58
  were
• 9:58
  told
• 9:58
  to
• 9:58
  do
• 9:58
  this
• 9:59
  and
• 9:59
  our
• 9:59
  future
• 10:00
  will
• 10:00
  be
• 10:00
  secure.
• 10:01
  How
• 10:01
  many
• 10:01
  of
• 10:01
  us
• 10:02
  heard,
• 10:02
  go
• 10:02
  to
• 10:02
  college,
• 10:03
  get
• 10:03
  that
• 10:04
  degree
• 10:04
  and
• 10:05
  you'll
• 10:05
  be
• 10:05
  fine.
• 10:06
  But
• 10:07
  right
• 10:07
  now
• 10:07
  you're
• 10:07
  watching
• 10:08
  that
• 10:08
  promise
• 10:08
  not
• 10:09
  come
• 10:09
  through
• 10:09
  for
• 10:09
  the
• 10:09
  people
• 10:10
  who
• 10:10
  did
• 10:10
  exactly
• 10:10
  what
• 10:11
  they
• 10:11
  were
• 10:11
  told.
• 10:13
  And
• 10:13
  that's
• 10:13
  not
• 10:13
  just
• 10:14
  confusing
• 10:14
  about
• 10:14
  jobs.
• 10:16
  It's
• 10:16
  confusing
• 10:16
  about
• 10:17
  what
• 10:17
  to
• 10:17
  trust.
• 10:19
  And
• 10:19
  I'm
• 10:19
  not
• 10:20
  going
• 10:20
  to
• 10:20
  tell
• 10:20
  you
• 10:20
  that
• 10:21
  faith
• 10:21
  makes
• 10:21
  this
• 10:21
  problem
• 10:22
  go
• 10:22
  away.
• 10:22
  I
• 10:22
  wish
• 10:23
  it
• 10:23
  did,
• 10:23
  but
• 10:23
  it
• 10:23
  doesn't.
• 10:24
  There
• 10:25
  are
• 10:25
  real
• 10:25
  people
• 10:26
  with
• 10:26
  real
• 10:26
  degrees
• 10:27
  and
• 10:27
  real
• 10:28
  debt
• 10:28
  and
• 10:29
  financial
• 10:29
  stress
• 10:29
  right
• 10:30
  now.
• 10:31
  Faith
• 10:32
  will
• 10:32
  never
• 10:32
  erase
• 10:32
  that.
• 10:34
  But
• 10:34
  here's
• 10:34
  what
• 10:34
  faith
• 10:35
  does
• 10:35
  offer.
• 10:36
  You
• 10:36
  got
• 10:36
  to
• 10:36
  remember
• 10:37
  something.
• 10:37
  Your
• 10:38
  security
• 10:38
  doesn't
• 10:39
  come
• 10:39
  from
• 10:39
  the
• 10:39
  system
• 10:39
  being
• 10:40
  fair.
• 10:41
  The
• 10:42
  system's
• 10:42
  not
• 10:42
  fair.
• 10:44
  But
• 10:44
  your
• 10:45
  security
• 10:45
  comes
• 10:45
  from
• 10:45
  a
• 10:46
  God
• 10:46
  who
• 10:46
  already
• 10:46
  knows
• 10:47
  you
• 10:48
  and
• 10:48
  he
• 10:48
  already
• 10:48
  loves
• 10:49
  you
• 10:49
  and
• 10:50
  he's
• 10:50
  not
• 10:50
  surprised
• 10:51
  by
• 10:51
  the
• 10:51
  world
• 10:51
  changing.
• 10:53
  Faith
• 10:54
  says
• 10:54
  you
• 10:54
  can
• 10:54
  be
• 10:54
  practical
• 10:55
  and
• 10:55
  smart
• 10:56
  with
• 10:56
  money
• 10:56
  without
• 10:57
  being
• 10:57
  controlled
• 10:57
  by
• 10:58
  fear.
• 11:00
  So
• 11:00
  ask
• 11:00
  the
• 11:00
  hard
• 11:01
  questions
• 11:01
  about
• 11:01
  debt.
• 11:03
  Study
• 11:03
  those
• 11:03
  fields.
• 11:04
  It
• 11:04
  actually
• 11:04
  works.
• 11:05
  Make
• 11:05
  a
• 11:05
  plan.
• 11:06
  And
• 11:07
  while
• 11:07
  you
• 11:07
  do
• 11:08
  know
• 11:09
  you're
• 11:09
  not
• 11:09
  abandoned
• 11:10
  in
• 11:10
  any
• 11:10
  of
• 11:10
  that,
• 11:12
  your
• 11:12
  worth
• 11:12
  is
• 11:12
  not
• 11:12
  on
• 11:13
  your
• 11:13
  resume.
• 11:14
  Your
• 11:14
  future
• 11:15
  is
• 11:15
  not
• 11:15
  locked
• 11:15
  behind
• 11:16
  some
• 11:16
  diploma
• 11:16
  someone
• 11:17
  told
• 11:17
  you
• 11:17
  to
• 11:17
  buy.
• 11:18
  And
• 11:18
  that's
• 11:18
  what
• 11:18
  it
• 11:18
  is.
• 11:18
  You're
• 11:19
  buying
• 11:19
  a
• 11:19
  diploma.
• 11:21
  And
• 11:21
  this
• 11:21
  changes
• 11:22
  the
• 11:22
  question
• 11:22
  entirely.
• 11:24
  You're
• 11:24
  not
• 11:24
  asking,
• 11:25
  will
• 11:25
  this
• 11:25
  guarantee
• 11:26
  me
• 11:26
  everything?
• 11:28
  You're
• 11:29
  asking
• 11:29
  a
• 11:29
  real
• 11:29
  simple
• 11:30
  question.
• 11:31
  Is
• 11:31
  this
• 11:32
  a
• 11:32
  why
• 11:32
  Step
• 11:32
  forward
• 11:33
  with
• 11:33
  what
• 11:33
  I
• 11:33
  know
• 11:33
  right
• 11:34
  now?
• 11:36
  And
• 11:36
  that's
• 11:36
  a
• 11:36
  much
• 11:36
  better
• 11:37
  question.
• 11:38
  And
• 11:39
  it's
• 11:39
  actually
• 11:39
  when
• 11:39
  you
• 11:39
  can
• 11:40
  answer.
• 11:41
  Your
• 11:42
  willingness
• 11:42
  to
• 11:43
  ask
• 11:43
  hard
• 11:43
  questions
• 11:44
  about
• 11:44
  debt
• 11:45
  and
• 11:45
  career
• 11:45
  is
• 11:46
  exactly
• 11:46
  the
• 11:47
  financial
• 11:47
  wisdom
• 11:48
  that
• 11:48
  will
• 11:48
  build
• 11:48
  your
• 11:49
  future.
• 11:50
  So
• 11:50
  here's
• 11:51
  your
• 11:51
  win
• 11:51
  for
• 11:51
  today.
• 11:51
  I
• 11:52
  always
• 11:52
  want
• 11:52
  to
• 11:52
  share
• 11:52
  a
• 11:52
  win
• 11:53
  with
• 11:53
  you.
• 11:53
  Might
• 11:53
  seem
• 11:54
  like
• 11:54
  I'm
• 11:54
  being
• 11:54
  really
• 11:54
  negative
• 11:55
  today,
• 11:55
  but
• 11:55
  I
• 11:55
  don't
• 11:55
  mean
• 11:56
  to
• 11:56
  be
• 11:56
  that
• 11:56
  way.
• 11:57
  I
• 11:57
  want
• 11:57
  you
• 11:58
  to
• 11:58
  spend
• 11:58
  one
• 11:58
  hour
• 11:59
  this
• 11:59
  week
• 11:59
  researching
• 12:00
  the
• 12:00
  job
• 12:01
  market
• 12:01
  for
• 12:01
  a
• 12:01
  field
• 12:02
  that
• 12:02
  interests
• 12:02
  you.
• 12:03
  Of
• 12:03
  course,
• 12:03
  you've
• 12:03
  got
• 12:03
  to
• 12:03
  have
• 12:04
  interests
• 12:04
  first,
• 12:05
  so
• 12:05
  make
• 12:05
  a
• 12:06
  list
• 12:06
  of
• 12:06
  those
• 12:06
  things.
• 12:07
  BLS.gov
• 12:08
  is
• 12:08
  a
• 12:08
  great
• 12:09
  place
• 12:09
  to
• 12:09
  look
• 12:09
  up
• 12:09
  salaries,
• 12:10
  job
• 12:11
  outlook,
• 12:11
  and
• 12:12
  what
• 12:12
  employers
• 12:12
  are
• 12:12
  actually
• 12:13
  wanting.
• 12:13
  And
• 12:14
  then
• 12:14
  I'm
• 12:14
  going
• 12:14
  to
• 12:14
  encourage
• 12:15
  you
• 12:15
  to
• 12:15
  do
• 12:15
  one
• 12:15
  more
• 12:15
  thing.
• 12:16
  Email
• 12:17
  a
• 12:17
  person
• 12:17
  in
• 12:17
  the
• 12:17
  field.
• 12:18
  Ask
• 12:19
  them
• 12:19
  a
• 12:19
  really
• 12:19
  basic
• 12:20
  question.
• 12:21
  Did
• 12:21
  your
• 12:21
  degree
• 12:22
  actually
• 12:22
  help
• 12:22
  you
• 12:23
  get
• 12:23
  your
• 12:23
  first
• 12:23
  job?
• 12:23
  I
• 12:24
  think
• 12:24
  you're
• 12:24
  going
• 12:24
  to
• 12:24
  be
• 12:24
  surprised
• 12:25
  with
• 12:25
  the
• 12:25
  answer.
• 12:26
  And
• 12:26
  don't
• 12:27
  try
• 12:27
  to
• 12:27
  decide
• 12:27
  about
• 12:28
  college
• 12:28
  today.
• 12:28
  Just
• 12:28
  get
• 12:29
  some
• 12:29
  real
• 12:29
  information.
• 12:31
  Because
• 12:31
  in
• 12:31
  the
• 12:31
  end,
• 12:32
  real
• 12:32
  information
• 12:32
  beats
• 12:33
  fear
• 12:33
  every
• 12:34
  single
• 12:34
  time.
• 12:35
  Well,
• 12:35
  let's
• 12:35
  get
• 12:35
  to
• 12:36
  our
• 12:36
  Bible
• 12:36
  verse
• 12:36
  today
• 12:37
  comes
• 12:37
  to
• 12:37
  us
• 12:37
  from
• 12:37
  the
• 12:38
  book
• 12:38
  of
• 12:38
  Proverbs,
• 12:39
  chapter
• 12:39
  14,
• 12:40
  verse
• 12:40
  15.
• 12:41
  It
• 12:42
  says
• 12:42
  the
• 12:42
  naive
• 12:43
  believes
• 12:43
  everything,
• 12:45
  but
• 12:45
  the
• 12:45
  prudent
• 12:45
  gives
• 12:46
  thought
• 12:46
  to
• 12:46
  his
• 12:46
  steps.
• 12:48
  Now
• 12:48
  I
• 12:48
  love
• 12:48
  this
• 12:49
  verse
• 12:49
  today
• 12:50
  because
• 12:50
  it's
• 12:50
  exactly
• 12:51
  what
• 12:51
  we're
• 12:51
  talking
• 12:52
  about.
• 12:53
  I'm
• 12:53
  challenging
• 12:54
  you
• 12:54
  to
• 12:54
  not
• 12:54
  blindly
• 12:55
  follow
• 12:55
  the
• 12:55
  system
• 12:55
  that
• 12:56
  you've
• 12:56
  been
• 12:56
  told
• 12:56
  by
• 12:56
  your
• 12:57
  parents,
• 12:57
  your
• 12:57
  grandparents,
• 12:58
  maybe
• 12:59
  for
• 12:59
  everyone
• 12:59
  around
• 12:59
  you
• 13:01
  asking
• 13:01
  you
• 13:01
  to
• 13:02
  think.
• 13:02
  I'm
• 13:02
  asking
• 13:03
  you
• 13:03
  to
• 13:03
  look
• 13:03
  at
• 13:03
  the
• 13:03
  numbers
• 13:04
  and
• 13:04
  ask
• 13:05
  some
• 13:05
  hard
• 13:05
  questions.
• 13:07
  Make
• 13:07
  decisions
• 13:08
  about
• 13:08
  based
• 13:08
  on
• 13:08
  what's
• 13:09
  real,
• 13:09
  not
• 13:09
  what
• 13:10
  you
• 13:10
  were
• 13:10
  told
• 13:10
  to
• 13:10
  expect.
• 13:12
  That's
• 13:12
  not
• 13:12
  doubting,
• 13:13
  that's
• 13:14
  actually
• 13:14
  wisdom.
• 13:15
  Let's
• 13:16
  pray
• 13:16
  together.
• 13:17
  Heavenly
• 13:18
  Father,
• 13:18
  right
• 13:18
  now
• 13:18
  I'm
• 13:19
  praying
• 13:19
  for
• 13:19
  everyone
• 13:20
  listening
• 13:20
  who's
• 13:21
  trying
• 13:21
  to
• 13:21
  figure
• 13:21
  out
• 13:22
  education
• 13:22
  or
• 13:23
  debt
• 13:23
  or
• 13:23
  a
• 13:23
  career.
• 13:25
  And
• 13:25
  Lord,
• 13:25
  you
• 13:25
  see
• 13:26
  the
• 13:26
  people
• 13:26
  who
• 13:26
  do
• 13:27
  everything
• 13:27
  they
• 13:27
  were
• 13:27
  told
• 13:29
  and
• 13:29
  now
• 13:29
  they're
• 13:29
  still
• 13:30
  suffering
• 13:30
  in
• 13:30
  financial
• 13:31
  strain.
• 13:32
  You
• 13:32
  see
• 13:32
  the
• 13:33
  ones
• 13:33
  deciding
• 13:33
  whether
• 13:34
  to
• 13:34
  go
• 13:34
  on
• 13:34
  to
• 13:34
  school
• 13:35
  or
• 13:35
  to
• 13:35
  pick
• 13:35
  another
• 13:36
  path.
• 13:36
  And
• 13:36
  you
• 13:37
  know
• 13:37
  the
• 13:37
  weight
• 13:37
  of
• 13:37
  these
• 13:37
  decisions.
• 13:39
  I
• 13:39
  just
• 13:40
  ask
• 13:40
  that
• 13:40
  you
• 13:40
  would
• 13:40
  help
• 13:40
  them
• 13:41
  to
• 13:41
  think
• 13:41
  clearly
• 13:41
  about
• 13:42
  the
• 13:42
  real
• 13:42
  numbers,
• 13:43
  not
• 13:43
  those
• 13:43
  pie
• 13:44
  in
• 13:44
  the
• 13:44
  sky
• 13:44
  promises,
• 13:45
  Lord.
• 13:45
  And
• 13:45
  give
• 13:46
  them
• 13:46
  courage
• 13:46
  to
• 13:46
  ask
• 13:47
  the
• 13:47
  hard
• 13:47
  questions
• 13:49
  even
• 13:49
  when
• 13:49
  it
• 13:49
  means
• 13:50
  going
• 13:50
  against
• 13:50
  what
• 13:51
  everybody
• 13:51
  else
• 13:51
  expects.
• 13:53
  Help
• 13:53
  them
• 13:53
  to
• 13:54
  see
• 13:54
  the
• 13:54
  one
• 13:54
  path
• 13:55
  doesn't
• 13:55
  fit
• 13:55
  everyone
• 13:56
  and
• 13:57
  choosing
• 13:57
  wisely
• 13:58
  is
• 13:59
  still
• 13:59
  choosing
• 14:00
  faithfully.
• 14:01
  And
• 14:02
  most
• 14:02
  of
• 14:02
  all,
• 14:02
  Lord,
• 14:03
  help
• 14:04
  them
• 14:04
  hold
• 14:04
  up
• 14:04
  their
• 14:04
  identity
• 14:05
  separately
• 14:06
  from
• 14:06
  their
• 14:06
  resume.
• 14:08
  And
• 14:08
  let
• 14:08
  us
• 14:09
  all
• 14:09
  remember
• 14:10
  that
• 14:11
  our
• 14:11
  worth
• 14:11
  doesn't
• 14:12
  rise
• 14:12
  and
• 14:12
  fall
• 14:13
  with
• 14:14
  our
• 14:14
  career
• 14:14
  success.
• 14:17
  You
• 14:17
  know
• 14:17
  us
• 14:17
  Lord.
• 14:18
  You
• 14:18
  love
• 14:19
  us
• 14:19
  Lord,
• 14:20
  and
• 14:20
  you're
• 14:20
  not
• 14:20
  surprised
• 14:21
  by
• 14:21
  how
• 14:21
  the
• 14:21
  world
• 14:21
  has
• 14:22
  changed
• 14:23
  and
• 14:24
  we
• 14:24
  ask
• 14:24
  all
• 14:24
  this
• 14:24
  in
• 14:25
  Jesus
• 14:25
  name.
• 14:26
  Amen,
• 14:28
  friend.
• 14:29
  You
• 14:29
  already
• 14:29
  have
• 14:29
  wisdom
• 14:30
  about
• 14:30
  your
• 14:30
  own
• 14:30
  life.
• 14:32
  You
• 14:32
  just
• 14:32
  need
• 14:32
  some
• 14:32
  information
• 14:33
  to
• 14:33
  help
• 14:33
  you
• 14:33
  trust
• 14:34
  it.
• 14:35
  So
• 14:35
  right
• 14:35
  away
• 14:36
  go
• 14:36
  research
• 14:36
  the
• 14:37
  job
• 14:37
  market
• 14:37
  for
• 14:37
  that
• 14:38
  field
• 14:38
  that
• 14:38
  interests
• 14:38
  you,
• 14:39
  find
• 14:39
  that
• 14:40
  salary,
• 14:40
  take
• 14:40
  a
• 14:40
  look
• 14:40
  at
• 14:41
  that
• 14:41
  job
• 14:41
  outlook
• 14:42
  and
• 14:42
  email
• 14:43
  that
• 14:43
  one
• 14:43
  professional
• 14:44
  with
• 14:44
  a
• 14:44
  real
• 14:44
  question.
• 14:45
  But
• 14:45
  don't
• 14:46
  make
• 14:46
  a
• 14:46
  decision
• 14:46
  today.
• 14:47
  Just
• 14:47
  gather
• 14:47
  some
• 14:48
  information.
• 14:49
  And
• 14:49
  while
• 14:50
  you're
• 14:50
  talking
• 14:50
  about
• 14:50
  ideas
• 14:51
  and
• 14:51
  questions,
• 14:52
  I
• 14:52
  would
• 14:52
  love
• 14:52
  to
• 14:52
  hear
• 14:52
  from
• 14:53
  you
• 14:53
  directly.
• 14:53
  You
• 14:53
  can
• 14:53
  go
• 14:54
  and
• 14:54
  send
• 14:54
  me
• 14:54
  a
• 14:54
  voicemail
• 14:55
  by
• 14:55
  going
• 14:56
  to
• 14:56
  financiallyconfidentchristian.com/voicemail.
• 15:00
  We'll
• 15:00
  put
• 15:00
  a
• 15:00
  link
• 15:00
  in
• 15:01
  the
• 15:01
  show

  but
• 15:01
  again
• 15:02
  that's

  financiallyconfidentchristian.com/voicemail.
• 15:06
  Tell

  on

  in
• 15:07
  your

  world
• 15:08
  and
• 15:08
  we'll
• 15:08
  talk
• 15:08
  about
• 15:08
  it
• 15:08
  here
• 15:09
  on

  you
• 15:10
  so

  much
• 15:11
  for
• 15:11
  joining
• 15:11
  me
• 15:11
  today.
• 15:12
  I
• 15:12
  want
• 15:12
  to
• 15:13
  encourage
• 15:13
  you
• 15:13
  to
• 15:13
  stay
• 15:13
  financially
• 15:14
  savvy.
• 15:15
  May
• 15:15
  God
• 15:15
  bless
• 15:16
  you
• 15:16
  and
