- 0:03Speaker 1: Welcome the wait to pay.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Great to have your company.
- 0:08Speaker 3: I'm James Macpherson with Liz Storer and Caleb Bond.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Coming up.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Queensland Premier Stephen Miles upset that the LNP have done
- 0:16Speaker 3: to him what the Labor Party did to Peter Dutton
- 0:19Speaker 3: a month ago. Poor Stephen Miles will get to him
- 0:21Speaker 3: a little later. Plus, when we look at the papers.
- 0:24Speaker 3: A great story on the front page of Tomorrow's Australian
- 0:27Speaker 3: as Sydney Islamic leaders warn Muslims that they should not
- 0:31Speaker 3: vote in elections because.
- 0:33Speaker 2: It's anti Islam.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Plus the Courier Mail's got a story tomorrow detailing how
- 0:37Speaker 3: the Queensland government arrived at that one billion dollar figure
- 0:41Speaker 3: to demolish and redevelop the Gabbar. I wonder if you
- 0:44Speaker 3: can guess how they came up with that number.
- 0:46Speaker 2: We'll reveal that when we look at the papers.
- 0:48Speaker 3: But first, and I don't want to sound alarmist, but
- 0:52Speaker 3: the US President Joe Biden has not been seen in
- 0:55Speaker 3: a week. After insisting that only God Almighty could stop
- 0:59Speaker 3: him contesting the next election, the President suddenly developed COVID
- 1:03Speaker 3: and then just vanished from sight. Here's the last time
- 1:06Speaker 3: the US president was seen last Wednesday. Now, four days
- 1:20Speaker 3: after that, remember, no one has seen him, he announced
- 1:24Speaker 3: via a tweet he would not contest the election. Now
- 1:28Speaker 3: rumors began to swirl. People wondered, was he forced out?
- 1:31Speaker 3: Does he even know that he's dropped out? Is he
- 1:33Speaker 3: even alive? Well, those questions were answered today. Kind of
- 1:38Speaker 3: Joe Biden, who's evidently not well enough to address the
- 1:41Speaker 3: American people, managed to make a phone call to a
- 1:44Speaker 3: Kamala Harris campaign event. Just when you thought American politics
- 1:49Speaker 3: could not get any weirder.
- 1:52Speaker 2: July.
- 1:52Speaker 4: If I didn't have COVID, i'd be sitting there with you,
- 1:56Speaker 4: standing there with you. I'm so proud of what you've
- 1:59Speaker 4: all done. But just told it all from them, keeping
- 2:02Speaker 4: me out of out of people's lair for the next
- 2:06Speaker 4: three or four days. But I'm going to be on
- 2:08Speaker 4: the road and I'm not going anywhere. I'm gonna It's
- 2:12Speaker 4: kept me away a little bit, but you know, I
- 2:14Speaker 4: want people to remember that what we have done has
- 2:17Speaker 4: been incredible, and we get so much more. We're going
- 2:20Speaker 4: to get done, And so I want to say hello
- 2:22Speaker 4: to Kama. She can hear me. I know she's going
- 2:24Speaker 4: to be speaking shortly, and I want to say that
- 2:27Speaker 4: the team embrace her. She's the best.
- 2:30Speaker 2: But was that a fun call or was it a recording?
- 2:33Speaker 3: I only ask because Kamala Harris herself seemed unsure. Listen
- 2:37Speaker 3: closely to what she says when she asks if that's
- 2:40Speaker 3: the president on the call?
- 2:43Speaker 5: It is so good to hear our president's voice.
- 2:47Speaker 6: Joe.
- 2:47Speaker 5: I know you're still on the on the call, and
- 2:50Speaker 5: we've been talking every day. You probably you guys heard
- 2:53Speaker 5: it from Doug's voice.
- 2:54Speaker 6: We love Joe and Jail, we really do.
- 2:57Speaker 2: They truly are like family.
- 2:58Speaker 5: Does everybody here that's mutual?
- 3:05Speaker 6: I know you're still there.
- 3:07Speaker 7: You're not going anywhere.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Job, I'm watching kid. I love you, I.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Love you, Job, Caleb and Liz.
- 3:17Speaker 3: We'll get to how weird Kamala Harris is in a
- 3:20Speaker 3: moment and we could talk all night about that. But
- 3:22Speaker 3: how weird is Joe Biden?
- 3:24Speaker 2: I mean, where is he? And why can he make
- 3:26Speaker 2: a phone call.
- 3:26Speaker 3: But he can't come on a video or turn up himself.
- 3:29Speaker 2: It's very, very strange.
- 3:32Speaker 6: It looks for all the world like a coup.
- 3:35Speaker 7: After this guy's quick timeline, after this guy's disastrous debate,
- 3:40Speaker 7: where everyone was like, well, he's cooked, he's got to go,
- 3:42Speaker 7: And he said I wasn't feeling well.
- 3:44Speaker 6: I was a bit jet lagged, et cetera.
- 3:47Speaker 7: He said twenty plus times, very emphatically, I'm going nowhere.
- 3:51Speaker 7: The party elites aren't gonna push me out. Then he
- 3:54Speaker 7: suddenly comes down with COVID after the RNC has endorsed
- 3:58Speaker 7: Donald Trump, and nobody's seen or heard from him since
- 4:02Speaker 7: that recording there, if it even is a recording. We
- 4:06Speaker 7: all know what they can do with AI these days,
- 4:08Speaker 7: and I would not put anything past the Democrats are
- 4:11Speaker 7: indeed most people in politics.
- 4:14Speaker 6: That is not proof of life. Where is he?
- 4:16Speaker 7: Why can we not see him?
- 4:21Speaker 6: Simply?
- 4:22Speaker 7: It makes no sense. And then you've got the added
- 4:24Speaker 7: fact that he resigned via Twitter, an account which people
- 4:29Speaker 7: have laughed about for the four years of his Presidency's
- 4:33Speaker 7: saying they know all these tweets don't come from Doe.
- 4:35Speaker 6: They're going doesn't.
- 4:36Speaker 7: Even know how to access the account. Arguably he's never
- 4:40Speaker 7: actually tweeted in his life.
- 4:42Speaker 6: It's always his staffers.
- 4:44Speaker 7: That resignation tweet was not even on White House.
- 4:48Speaker 6: Letterhead, his signature.
- 4:50Speaker 7: There's been questions raised about that because he never underlines
- 4:54Speaker 7: his signature, and this signature included an underlining squiggle, and
- 4:58Speaker 7: everyone was like, oh, wait a minute. His own staff
- 5:02Speaker 7: and campaign people found out via x found out by
- 5:08Speaker 7: that same tweet that he was stepping down. They had
- 5:11Speaker 7: no idea he was resigning. Just last night we played
- 5:14Speaker 7: the clip of his campaign chair saying emphatically just hours
- 5:18Speaker 7: before that tweet, he's going nowhere. He's staying in the race,
- 5:22Speaker 7: and we're supposed to believe that despite the fact we
- 5:26Speaker 7: still haven't seen him. And they've done this ridiculous parody
- 5:29Speaker 7: where oh, he's just on a conference call, listen to
- 5:32Speaker 7: his voice that everything's a okay. This is not normal,
- 5:37Speaker 7: and the mainstream media would have you believe, Oh, it's
- 5:39Speaker 7: it's normal.
- 5:40Speaker 6: He's just got COVID.
- 5:41Speaker 7: That's why no one can see him. Hello, We've had
- 5:45Speaker 7: people on Sky News be home with COVID and chair
- 5:49Speaker 7: shows his name's Chris Kenny, Like, what are legends? Just
- 5:53Speaker 7: because you have COVID doesn't mean you can't be seen.
- 5:57Speaker 7: I mean you may have it, but there's no reason why. Well,
- 6:00Speaker 7: the most powerful men in the world cannot just live
- 6:03Speaker 7: stream in using some sort of a camera and assure
- 6:06Speaker 7: the world I'm alive. This is me actually saying this. Yes,
- 6:11Speaker 7: I have dropped out, Yes I do endorse Kamala Harris.
- 6:14Speaker 7: It just looks for all the world like a coup.
- 6:17Speaker 7: The timing of this thing. And one last thing I
- 6:19Speaker 7: will say is if Donald Trump had died the weekend
- 6:24Speaker 7: before last, Biden would still be in the race. I
- 6:27Speaker 7: don't think many people would argue that then they would
- 6:30Speaker 7: have gone down the route of Oh, he's just kept
- 6:33Speaker 7: up the route that they've been taking for the last
- 6:35Speaker 7: four years. He's strong, he's mentally well. All of that
- 6:39Speaker 7: is just fake news and deep fake videos of him stumbling.
- 6:43Speaker 7: We need stability now more than ever, and he's the
- 6:46Speaker 7: father of the nation and he's the one.
- 6:48Speaker 6: To see it through.
- 6:49Speaker 7: Because it didn't go that way. That and that alone
- 6:54Speaker 7: is when the Dems stepped up this really really forceful,
- 7:00Speaker 7: pushing him out of the party. And we've seen that
- 7:03Speaker 7: since that ex tweet, which I'm convinced he did not tweet,
- 7:07Speaker 7: everyone's fallen in behind Kamala. The entire establishment has fallen
- 7:12Speaker 7: in behind Kamala. Kamala's campaign says that they've raised over
- 7:15Speaker 7: one hundred million dollars in the twenty four hours since
- 7:19Speaker 7: Biden dropped out. I'm just finding all of this very
- 7:24Speaker 7: hard to believe.
- 7:25Speaker 6: To me, it looks like a coup.
- 7:27Speaker 8: You know, the money rolls in because it's anybody but
- 7:29Speaker 8: Biden basically.
- 7:30Speaker 7: Even that the money was rolling, it was still by it.
- 7:33Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, but but it had dried up or it
- 7:35Speaker 8: certainly wasn't coming in in the same way that it was.
- 7:38Speaker 8: And you know, once you had George Clooney, who of
- 7:39Speaker 8: course had run a big fundraiser, coming out and saying, look,
- 7:42Speaker 8: I'm not going to stand up at another one of
- 7:43Speaker 8: those things again, and they knew they had to do
- 7:45Speaker 8: something if they wanted to get any money. And you mentioned,
- 7:47Speaker 8: of course, the fact that the post was made on
- 7:51Speaker 8: x to say that he was no longer running. Did
- 7:53Speaker 8: you notice that Jill Biden's account then retweeted that post.
- 7:58Speaker 8: There's no words to go along with her post. All
- 8:00Speaker 8: it was was a pink love heart. Now, you would
- 8:03Speaker 8: think that the wife of the president, the first lady,
- 8:07Speaker 8: would have a little more to say about her husband's
- 8:10Speaker 8: presidency at the moment that he said I'm not going
- 8:13Speaker 8: to run again at the end of the year than
- 8:16Speaker 8: a pink love heart.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I mean, Jim Times, you say a lot by saying
- 8:19Speaker 2: not much.
- 8:20Speaker 8: Precisely, precisely because we know Jill I suspect has been
- 8:24Speaker 8: the major driver behind the fact that he lasted as
- 8:27Speaker 8: long in this race because she just.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Wants to stay in the White House.
- 8:30Speaker 8: I mean, you can imagine how pissed chair would be
- 8:32Speaker 8: about the fact that Joe is no longer running.
- 8:35Speaker 1: And you listen to the audio.
- 8:37Speaker 8: Of him at that Kamala pressa, I mean, he does
- 8:41Speaker 8: sound pretty sick or either on industrial doses of pseudoephedrin.
- 8:48Speaker 8: But for heaven's sake, like as if you can't see
- 8:50Speaker 8: his face. We've all been sick at various points and
- 8:54Speaker 8: come in to work. We see today that he's canceled
- 8:58Speaker 8: a meeting with Benjamin Nitya, who is currently in the US.
- 9:02Speaker 8: So it all adds why can't we see the guy?
- 9:05Speaker 8: I mean, look, if he looks like death warmed up
- 9:07Speaker 8: because he's got COVID, it's no different to the way
- 9:10Speaker 8: he's looked for the last three or four years. He's
- 9:13Speaker 8: looked like death warmed up for a long time. We
- 9:16Speaker 8: saw him at the debate im and he possibly couldn't
- 9:19Speaker 8: look any worse than that. They of course have given
- 9:21Speaker 8: him a spray tand since then to try and make
- 9:23Speaker 8: him look more alive. But I tell you what, even
- 9:26Speaker 8: with COVID and dropping out of the race, the abilities
- 9:29Speaker 8: of Joe Biden are just extraordinary because apparently while he
- 9:34Speaker 8: was on a phone call to this presser and look,
- 9:37Speaker 8: I don't know about you. I've used a few phones
- 9:39Speaker 8: in my life. I imagine you have as well. And
- 9:42Speaker 8: generally the way it works, unless you're on FaceTime or something,
- 9:46Speaker 8: in which case we would have been able to see
- 9:48Speaker 8: mister Biden's face he's sitting there with phone to his ear,
- 9:52Speaker 8: or he's on a conference call. You can't generally see
- 9:55Speaker 8: people down the phone.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Well not Joe Biden. Have a look at this.
- 10:00Speaker 8: He apparently can see what's going on even though he's
- 10:03Speaker 8: not on a video call.
- 10:07Speaker 6: Do you watch him?
- 10:08Speaker 7: You here this clapping?
- 10:10Speaker 9: Can you see it?
- 10:16Speaker 1: He's watching.
- 10:17Speaker 8: I don't know. They will be watching from heaven at
- 10:19Speaker 8: this point. He is actually probably from hell, given it's
- 10:22Speaker 8: Joe Biden. But that the whole thing is such a
- 10:25Speaker 8: fast Would you have ever thought that a sitting president
- 10:31Speaker 8: would announce the fact that they're not running again via
- 10:34Speaker 8: a post on X not a press release that went
- 10:37Speaker 8: out to the media, no embargoed message that not even
- 10:41Speaker 8: his staff knew was coming. It just pops up on
- 10:44Speaker 8: a social media platform, which is great for Elon Musk
- 10:47Speaker 8: and X because they can once again say, you know
- 10:49Speaker 8: where you get the news first, which.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Is of course what Twitter was always about.
- 10:53Speaker 8: But the whole thing, when you piece it together, you
- 10:56Speaker 8: just got to go, what sort of timeline are we
- 10:59Speaker 8: living in there?
- 11:00Speaker 2: And it's only how long since?
- 11:02Speaker 3: Nine days since the assassination attempt on Trump? So you've
- 11:05Speaker 3: got Trump almost shot dead, You've got Joe Biden.
- 11:09Speaker 2: We don't know if he's alive. I mean, it's just
- 11:12Speaker 2: an extraordinary time.
- 11:14Speaker 1: He's probably tied up somewhere. Joe, don't you move, don't move.
- 11:18Speaker 3: But I mean even more extraordinary is Kamala Harris today
- 11:21Speaker 3: telling the crowd that no president in US history has
- 11:24Speaker 3: been able to do as much in two terms as
- 11:26Speaker 3: Joe Biden has achieved in one, and then she wondered
- 11:29Speaker 3: why it didn't get much of a reaction from the crowd.
- 11:32Speaker 2: She had to kind of generate an applause.
- 11:35Speaker 5: Joe Biden's legacy of accomplishment over the past three years
- 11:39Speaker 5: is unmatched in Mardern history. In one term, he has
- 11:44Speaker 5: already yes, you may laugh, in one term, he has
- 11:53Speaker 5: already surpassed the legacy of most presidents who have served
- 11:56Speaker 5: two terms in office.
- 11:59Speaker 7: When you've got force the applause, there's one guy doing
- 12:03Speaker 7: a golf clap and she's like, yes, keep everyone. Everyone joining.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Reminds us of another US presidential candidate, Jeff Bush, who
- 12:10Speaker 3: had a similar problem.
- 12:13Speaker 10: I think the next president needs to be a lot quieter,
- 12:15Speaker 10: but send a signal that we're prepared to act in
- 12:18Speaker 10: the national security interests of this country to get back
- 12:21Speaker 10: in the business of creating a more peaceful world.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Please clap. That wasn't an encouragement to clap. That was
- 12:32Speaker 2: just a sigh of resignation I needed.
- 12:34Speaker 8: I needed, And watching you said, we'll get to the
- 12:37Speaker 8: weirdness of Kamala Harris. So let's go there. And that
- 12:42Speaker 8: clip of her say we love you, Joe, we.
- 12:45Speaker 7: Love you so much like it's Emily, It's got.
- 12:49Speaker 8: All the sincerity of someone like you know, you're telling
- 12:53Speaker 8: your mother in law that you love her daily and
- 12:55Speaker 8: she's the best thing that's ever happened in your life. No,
- 12:58Speaker 8: we all know you hate your mother in law. That's
- 13:00Speaker 8: just how things were she's loving herself sick right now
- 13:04Speaker 8: because all the pieces have fallen into place. I suspect
- 13:09Speaker 8: she probably thought that the way she would get to
- 13:11Speaker 8: the presidency is not via an election. It would have
- 13:14Speaker 8: been via Joe Biden sneezing heavily and then you know,
- 13:18Speaker 8: he's inside sort of coming out of all orifices and
- 13:20Speaker 8: that was the end of him, and that she would
- 13:22Speaker 8: just sort of automatically ascend to the job that way.
- 13:25Speaker 8: She probably didn't think it would come like this, But nevertheless,
- 13:29Speaker 8: you know, you've got this dopey woman who laughs at
- 13:32Speaker 8: absolutely everything she says me. She cracks herself up with
- 13:34Speaker 8: her own jokes that aren't even jokes, and she is
- 13:38Speaker 8: now most likely going to be the Democratic pick to
- 13:42Speaker 8: run for president. She cannot believe her luck. She is
- 13:48Speaker 8: the way luckiest woman alive right now, except for the fact,
- 13:52Speaker 8: of course, that she doesn't stand much of a chance
- 13:55Speaker 8: of beating Joe Biden. But she'll be loving herself beating
- 13:57Speaker 8: Joe Budden, beating Donald Trump. She's already beating Joe Biden,
- 14:01Speaker 8: we saw that over the last few days. But she
- 14:03Speaker 8: will be loving herself sick in the lead up to them.
- 14:06Speaker 7: The woman that Trump aptly called quote dumb as a
- 14:10Speaker 7: rock end quote, but speaking of a coup. Sources have
- 14:15Speaker 7: now come out to The Post saying yes, in fact,
- 14:18Speaker 7: the Democrats at the highest levels of the party threatened
- 14:22Speaker 7: Joe Biden and said, if you don't step down, we'll
- 14:26Speaker 7: just get you out of the top spot using our
- 14:29Speaker 7: own means. A source speaking to the Post said that debate,
- 14:34Speaker 7: that disastrous debate, with millions of eyes on it was
- 14:38Speaker 7: a setup to convince Democrats that he couldn't run for president.
- 14:43Speaker 7: And it wasn't hard for anyone watching at home to
- 14:47Speaker 7: make that assessment all by themselves.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Eligible for what I've been able to do with the
- 14:55Speaker 4: with the COVID, I could be with dealing with have
- 15:00Speaker 4: to do with.
- 15:04Speaker 2: If we finally beat medicare, Trump's.
- 15:09Speaker 7: Patient confusion, Just channeling the emotions of everyone watching there.
- 15:14Speaker 7: But this is exactly what I said the minute the
- 15:16Speaker 7: Democrats said, actually, we will have a debate, earliest presidential
- 15:21Speaker 7: debate in American history that far out to an election.
- 15:25Speaker 7: We will have a debate. I said. There's only two
- 15:27Speaker 7: reasons why they would do this. Either to prove to
- 15:30Speaker 7: everyone we'd see the Manhattan Project of pharmaceutical stimulants on
- 15:35Speaker 7: display and everyone would.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Be like, Oh, actually, he's not that bad.
- 15:38Speaker 7: Why are people raising all these concerns about his mental faculties?
- 15:42Speaker 7: Or number two, which I highly suspected. The whole idea
- 15:47Speaker 7: was to watch him crash and burn so that everyone
- 15:51Speaker 7: would turn against him and say, this guy's got to go.
- 15:54Speaker 6: And it worked perfectly.
- 15:55Speaker 3: And the other evidence that this was set up was
- 15:58Speaker 3: the way that CNN handled the debate. I mean, we
- 16:01Speaker 3: all noted at the time that they were softball in
- 16:03Speaker 3: questions to Donald Trump, and the use of the split
- 16:06Speaker 3: screen that we just saw there enabled Biden to stumble
- 16:10Speaker 3: and mumble while Donald Trump without saying a word, as
- 16:15Speaker 3: you said, channel all our thoughts to exactly what was happening.
- 16:18Speaker 3: It was quite remarkable that CNN allowed that. And then
- 16:21Speaker 3: of course, straight after the debate, every left wing news
- 16:24Speaker 3: outlet immediately slammed Biden, started the question of his suitability.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Then there were leaks, then Democrats put their names to
- 16:31Speaker 3: the leaks. Then George Clooney came out. But one strange
- 16:36Speaker 3: thing that I didn't sort of notice being that important
- 16:39Speaker 3: at the time was remember, we were joking about the
- 16:41Speaker 3: fact that Biden started getting his advice from Hunter, and
- 16:45Speaker 3: we all thought, well, I mean, this is ridiculous. Hunter's
- 16:47Speaker 3: a crackhead advising the president. But it makes sense now
- 16:50Speaker 3: because if the family felt we are being set up,
- 16:53Speaker 3: we are being pushed out, there would literally be no
- 16:55Speaker 3: one left to trust other than your immediate family. So
- 16:59Speaker 3: it wasn't so stupid that he had Hunter in all
- 17:02Speaker 3: the meetings. It was just he dared not trust anybody else.
- 17:05Speaker 3: That's the way it maps potentially.
- 17:07Speaker 1: So I mean, you know, take advice from a crackhead.
- 17:09Speaker 8: At least you can trust him because he's easier son. Right,
- 17:11Speaker 8: that's about the dam And indeed, I think there's two
- 17:15Speaker 8: distinct eras of Biden.
- 17:17Speaker 7: Now.
- 17:17Speaker 8: The clip we just played was Bet before Tan, and
- 17:21Speaker 8: then you have the post Tan Biden, which is where
- 17:24Speaker 8: it's all sort of fallen apart. But the more you
- 17:27Speaker 8: look into the rules that were put around that debate,
- 17:29Speaker 8: I mean the fact that the microphones were closed when
- 17:33Speaker 8: the other was speaking, which played straight into Trump's hands
- 17:37Speaker 8: because it prevented him from constantly interrupting and making a
- 17:41Speaker 8: menace of himself, which made Trump look good. And the
- 17:44Speaker 8: fact that Biden was the one who challenged Trump to
- 17:48Speaker 8: a debate, right, and you would have thought if you
- 17:51Speaker 8: were Barden or any of his advisors, much like and
- 17:54Speaker 8: of course they did have debates in twenty twenty, but
- 17:56Speaker 8: much like twenty twenty, your strategy would be to put
- 17:59Speaker 8: Barden in the bunk and keep him as far away
- 18:01Speaker 8: from the public and the cameras and the journalists as possible,
- 18:05Speaker 8: because you know that's where he can potentially slip up.
- 18:07Speaker 8: And what we had was Biden come out and post
- 18:11Speaker 8: a video online saying, you know, you name the time
- 18:15Speaker 8: and place, buddy, I'm ready to go. I mean, you
- 18:18Speaker 8: can't tell me that Biden genuinely thought, well maybe he
- 18:22Speaker 8: would have genuinely thought it, but that he was ready
- 18:24Speaker 8: to go for a debate, but that his aides, unless
- 18:27Speaker 8: they were setting him up, would not have said, look,
- 18:30Speaker 8: mister Biden, we reckon a debate mightn't.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Be the best thing you could do for your.
- 18:35Speaker 8: It was why don't we just sort of leave that
- 18:38Speaker 8: to one side? But no, they threw down the gauntlet
- 18:42Speaker 8: and that's ultimately what brought him underne.
- 18:44Speaker 3: But how magnificent is the way that Obama has played this.
- 18:46Speaker 3: I mean remember after the debate, he just said, look,
- 18:49Speaker 3: anyone can have a bad night. One bad night doesn't
- 18:52Speaker 3: mean anything. Meanwhile, everybody else is doing the dirty work. Now,
- 18:56Speaker 3: Kamala has stepped forward and Biden has said, well, we
- 18:58Speaker 3: will have a process. I trust the party to come
- 19:01Speaker 3: up with the right Obama's not got his fingerprints on anything,
- 19:05Speaker 3: nne yet you can see him all over it.
- 19:07Speaker 6: Oh, he's extremely shrewd.
- 19:09Speaker 7: You got to give him that, and everyone saw that
- 19:11Speaker 7: during his presidency as well. He was known as a
- 19:14Speaker 7: very brilliant orator. He's a wonderful wordsmith, and he's playing
- 19:17Speaker 7: his cards very close to his chest, even if that
- 19:21Speaker 7: is he doesn't want to be seen endorsing a woman
- 19:24Speaker 7: who is, like Trump said, as dumb as a rock.
- 19:27Speaker 7: But everyone's now turning on the Secret Service director. She
- 19:33Speaker 7: had to face Congress now because they need answers. Well,
- 19:38Speaker 7: they weren't getting any out of the Secret Service Director Cheetle,
- 19:43Speaker 7: although they did try their hardest.
- 19:45Speaker 1: His Rep.
- 19:47Speaker 7: Nancy Mace saying, can I just ask you, was this
- 19:53Speaker 7: the biggest failure of the Secret Service during your tenure?
- 19:58Speaker 6: It's a yes or no question. It should be pretty easy.
- 20:00Speaker 7: Have a crack at it.
- 20:03Speaker 11: Was this a colossal failure? It was a failure? Yes
- 20:08Speaker 11: or no? Was it a colossal failure?
- 20:10Speaker 6: Is the question?
- 20:11Speaker 11: Yes or no? I have admitted this is this is
- 20:13Speaker 11: a yes or no series of questions. Was this a
- 20:16Speaker 11: colossal failure? Yes or no?
- 20:19Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 20:20Speaker 7: It was an entire hearing of similar just the director
- 20:24Speaker 7: just trying to skirt around the most obvious, the most
- 20:28Speaker 7: simple questions. So it was just a matter of time
- 20:31Speaker 7: before Nancy Mayce lost their temper.
- 20:34Speaker 11: Have you provided all audio and video recordings in your
- 20:37Speaker 11: possession to this committee as we asked on July fifteenth?
- 20:40Speaker 12: Yes or no.
- 20:41Speaker 11: I would have to get back to you. That is
- 20:42Speaker 11: a no you're full of today. You're just being completely dishonest.
- 20:47Speaker 7: And Rep Anna Paulina just outright said to the director
- 20:53Speaker 7: of the Secret Service, you've perjured yourself here today. Man.
- 21:01Speaker 13: In my opinion, according to some of the testimony today,
- 21:03Speaker 13: I feel that you have perjured yourself in some instances,
- 21:06Speaker 13: and so I'm going to ask for a full review
- 21:08Speaker 13: of the transcripts by staff, and if you find that
- 21:10Speaker 13: to be the case, I do ask that you bring
- 21:12Speaker 13: perjury charges against the director.
- 21:15Speaker 7: She has been repeatedly asked to resign by many of
- 21:19Speaker 7: the people who were speaking to her during this hearing,
- 21:23Speaker 7: saying we don't even feel safe with you in control anymore.
- 21:27Speaker 7: Here's an average joe who took it upon himself with
- 21:31Speaker 7: a team of other blokes to climb aboard the roof
- 21:35Speaker 7: where the shooter had taken his shots at Donald J. Trump,
- 21:39Speaker 7: just to illustrate to everyone how inexcusable.
- 21:44Speaker 6: This was on the part of the Secret Service.
- 21:49Speaker 1: It's not that steep at all.
- 21:50Speaker 12: We just had a seventy year old man back here
- 21:52Speaker 12: climb up.
- 21:54Speaker 8: On the roof.
- 21:55Speaker 12: Easily see that water tower behind me had Secret service there.
- 22:00Speaker 12: Anybody had sniper teens up there, the sky wouldn't have
- 22:03Speaker 12: made it five feet up this roof.
- 22:07Speaker 2: He would have been taken out.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Behind me.
- 22:09Speaker 14: You see the windows that Secret Service was supposedly in
- 22:15Speaker 14: the second floor of this building behind it makes you
- 22:17Speaker 14: wonder why they weren't able to quickly dispatch the individual.
- 22:23Speaker 12: And then behind me back over here where those red
- 22:26Speaker 12: roofs are, that's where the stage was set up. That's
- 22:29Speaker 12: where the president was giving his speech. From a lot
- 22:32Speaker 12: of questions here in Butler, a.
- 22:36Speaker 7: Lot of questions around the world. We know that the
- 22:40Speaker 7: snipers had him in their sights. They knew that this
- 22:42Speaker 7: guy an hour before he took the shots at Donald Trump.
- 22:47Speaker 7: They knew he was there, They knew he had a rifle,
- 22:49Speaker 7: they knew where he was located. People in the crowd
- 22:52Speaker 7: was screaming at them, saying, there's a guy on the
- 22:54Speaker 7: roof with a gun. Didn't even take Trump off stage.
- 22:58Speaker 7: We've been given the slope roof excuse by cheetle that
- 23:02Speaker 7: fell over really quickly. Now we're being told they were
- 23:06Speaker 7: on the roof but then got off because it was
- 23:08Speaker 7: too hot. Check out this tweet by Senator Josh Hawley.
- 23:12Speaker 7: He says, whistleblowers tell me law enforcement enforcement rather personnel
- 23:17Speaker 7: were in fact stationed to the roof the day of
- 23:19Speaker 7: the Trump rally, but abandoned it citing the heat. They
- 23:24Speaker 7: also say law enforcement were supposed to be patrolling the
- 23:27Speaker 7: building but opted to stay inside instead. There is literally
- 23:32Speaker 7: nothing this cheetle woman could say to excuse the events
- 23:36Speaker 7: of that day, which is why I have always maintained
- 23:39Speaker 7: and still maintain this was allowed to happen. There is
- 23:44Speaker 7: literally no other reasons. How could this kid be dead
- 23:48Speaker 7: twenty six seconds after he first pulled the trigger. They
- 23:51Speaker 7: knew he was there, They had him within their sides
- 23:54Speaker 7: and they waited for him to shoot before they shot.
- 23:58Speaker 1: And Cheatle still has a job.
- 24:00Speaker 8: That's the most extraordinary thing in all of this. And
- 24:02Speaker 8: the excuses that they keep offering up. But you know,
- 24:05Speaker 8: Cheetle couldn't rock up there today and actually say anything
- 24:08Speaker 8: because if she said what she really knew, well, she
- 24:11Speaker 8: wouldn't have a job tomorrow. But the excuses they've offered
- 24:14Speaker 8: up the sloped roof, and now we're being told that
- 24:18Speaker 8: it was too hot to possibly be up on the
- 24:21Speaker 8: roof protecting the former president.
- 24:23Speaker 1: We couldn't do that.
- 24:24Speaker 8: The unionized workers of the Secret Service must have their
- 24:28Speaker 8: breaks in the forty two degree heat. I mean, it's
- 24:31Speaker 8: the equivalent of saying, the dog ate my homework, Like we.
- 24:34Speaker 1: All know that's rubbish.
- 24:36Speaker 8: They are offering up absolute rubbish and expecting us to
- 24:39Speaker 8: swallow it. And you've got a feel for Senator Pat Follen,
- 24:43Speaker 8: who sort of led a lot of this spill over today,
- 24:45Speaker 8: saying like, where did the worst excuse you could possibly
- 24:50Speaker 8: have thought up come from?
- 24:51Speaker 1: Are you in your right mind? Miss Cheatle?
- 24:55Speaker 15: Do you remember in an EBC interview you did that
- 24:57Speaker 15: you didn't have people on the roof of the AGR
- 24:59Speaker 15: build because you were worried about safety because of the slope.
- 25:03Speaker 6: I recall that statement.
- 25:07Speaker 15: Does a secret service have written policy you can share
- 25:09Speaker 15: with us about.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Slope roofs now?
- 25:13Speaker 15: Okay, so why'd you act like there was one? But
- 25:15Speaker 15: the problem is, director, you put your counter snappers on
- 25:18Speaker 15: a three twelve roof, which is steeper than the one twelve.
- 25:21Speaker 15: And by the way, the one twelve is ADA compliant.
- 25:23Speaker 15: You can build a ramp for a wheelchair.
- 25:28Speaker 1: I mean, he knows the whole thing is a joke.
- 25:31Speaker 8: In the well we were playing that clip, James remarked
- 25:34Speaker 8: on the fact that some cheatle just sort of responded,
- 25:37Speaker 8: I do recall making statement. So God, I should never
- 25:40Speaker 8: have said that because now I actually have to defend it.
- 25:43Speaker 8: And when we watched that clip, there of the bloke
- 25:45Speaker 8: who was up on the roof, like the slope, even
- 25:49Speaker 8: Joe Biden could walk up that slope with not much trouble,
- 25:52Speaker 8: and we know how unsteady he is on his feet.
- 25:54Speaker 8: It's no more than something like that, Like it's hardly
- 25:57Speaker 8: a slope at all.
- 25:58Speaker 3: She made the slope goose in an interview with the ABC,
- 26:02Speaker 3: and someone remarked quite rightly today that she revealed more
- 26:05Speaker 3: to the ABC in that interview than she did to
- 26:09Speaker 3: Senators and Congressman today when she testified that the one
- 26:12Speaker 3: thing I think we do need to give Kimberly Cheetl
- 26:15Speaker 3: credit for. However, and she does deserve some credit. She
- 26:18Speaker 3: deserves no one else has been able to do. She
- 26:21Speaker 3: has united Democrats and Republicans because they all want her sack.
- 26:27Speaker 2: So no, it's not like she's achieved nothing.
- 26:29Speaker 7: Fact she hasn't stepped down. That is and of itself
- 26:33Speaker 7: is suspicious.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Well, I mean, she said today quote as director of
- 26:36Speaker 3: the United States Secret Service, I take full responsibility for
- 26:40Speaker 3: any security lapse.
- 26:41Speaker 2: And yet she's not resigned.
- 26:43Speaker 3: She didn't speak to Security Service agents until three days
- 26:47Speaker 3: after the event. She ran away from people asking questions
- 26:51Speaker 3: at the Republican National Convention. And unbelievably, she revealed today,
- 26:56Speaker 3: nine days after the assassination attempt, has she been back.
- 26:59Speaker 2: To the site to have a look at how it
- 27:01Speaker 2: all went.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Down and maybe to look at that roof again, She
- 27:04Speaker 3: hasn't even been to the site. You think of all
- 27:06Speaker 3: the people that would have gone, she would have been
- 27:08Speaker 3: there straight away, That's what I'm saying.
- 27:10Speaker 7: Where do you get the cohunas if this isn't an
- 27:13Speaker 7: inside job and what you did was actually okay in
- 27:16Speaker 7: some people's books, where do you get the kahunas to
- 27:20Speaker 7: not resign? You say you take full responsibility, but you're
- 27:24Speaker 7: clearly not. You know that there are people in.
- 27:27Speaker 6: Charge who have your back.
- 27:28Speaker 7: There is throughout history the director of the Secret Service
- 27:33Speaker 7: when there had been an assassination attempt or indeed an assassination,
- 27:37Speaker 7: they would step down, they would resign because it was
- 27:40Speaker 7: just understood you have failed. You had one job and
- 27:44Speaker 7: you have failed. This woman where is she getting this
- 27:48Speaker 7: confidence from? And they all know she won't be prosecuted
- 27:52Speaker 7: properly unless Trump does take the White House? So what
- 27:56Speaker 7: does she know that we don't? Because you don't get
- 27:59Speaker 7: stupidly obstinate about something this serious unless you know something
- 28:05Speaker 7: that we don't.
- 28:05Speaker 2: And her answers were stupidly obstinate. I really like that.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Incredibly, she simply mirrored the question she was being asked.
- 28:12Speaker 3: At one point, she was asked how could a twenty
- 28:14Speaker 3: year old out smart the Secret Service and get on
- 28:17Speaker 3: the roof with a rifle? And her response to that
- 28:19Speaker 3: question was, I would like to know those answers as well.
- 28:22Speaker 2: So she was doing a.
- 28:23Speaker 7: Question you've had nine days and you haven't found out
- 28:26Speaker 7: the answers to those questions.
- 28:27Speaker 3: She actually used the fact that it's only been nine days, oh,
- 28:31Speaker 3: that she doesn't know. And then the other intact I
- 28:34Speaker 3: loved was she promised she would never let something like
- 28:37Speaker 3: this ever happen again, to which a senator replied, your
- 28:41Speaker 3: job is to make sure it never happens period at all.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 28:44Speaker 8: Look, you know, if you're willing to give up your gonad's,
- 28:47Speaker 8: miss Cheatle, I'm quite happy to take them, because I'm
- 28:50Speaker 8: pretty sure that yours are a bit bigger than mine,
- 28:52Speaker 8: if you're willing to sit there and take that bollocking
- 28:54Speaker 8: and do it with a straight face. So it's come
- 28:57Speaker 8: back to Australia now. Now we talked about this a
- 29:00Speaker 8: few months ago, was back in March.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Actually, there's a soccer team in Sydney.
- 29:05Speaker 8: It's meant to be a women's soccer team called the
- 29:08Speaker 8: Flying Bats. They play in a suburban league here in
- 29:12Speaker 8: Sydney called the Northwest Sydney Football Association. Now, five of
- 29:17Speaker 8: the players on this team happened to be transgender women.
- 29:21Speaker 8: Ie they are biological men and as you can imagine
- 29:25Speaker 8: with all of that testosterone that was coursing through their
- 29:28Speaker 8: bodies at certain points in time, they are absolutely killing
- 29:32Speaker 8: it in the competition. So back in March we reported
- 29:36Speaker 8: on the fact that they had blitzed there pre tournament competition.
- 29:41Speaker 8: They won the grand final of that for nil. Well,
- 29:45Speaker 8: their success has just continued to rain after that. On
- 29:48Speaker 8: the weekend they had a twelve nil victory.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Would you believe it? They have won every single game
- 29:56Speaker 1: they have played so far this season.
- 29:58Speaker 8: They've scored fifteen nine goals through the course of the
- 30:02Speaker 8: season and they've only conceded four against other teams. I
- 30:07Speaker 8: wonder what it might be about this particular team that
- 30:11Speaker 8: has made them so successful on the field. Might it
- 30:14Speaker 8: have something to do with the fact that it's full
- 30:16Speaker 8: of biological men who could tell Bartery Australia spokeswoman Kirilely
- 30:21Speaker 8: Smith and I think look, she's been quite mild here
- 30:24Speaker 8: said about this. It's absolutely extraordinary. It's not surprising at all,
- 30:28Speaker 8: but it is absolutely insulting, offensive and mind boggling that
- 30:31Speaker 8: the Northwest Sydney Football Association and Football New South Wales
- 30:35Speaker 8: allow this to continue. Now you've had parents pulling their
- 30:40Speaker 8: daughters out of the teams playing against them, because of
- 30:42Speaker 8: course they're worried about what, you know, big burly men
- 30:45Speaker 8: might do to their daughters on the field. And all
- 30:48Speaker 8: they've argued for the other teams is that they should
- 30:51Speaker 8: join the mixed competition, which involves both men and women,
- 30:55Speaker 8: which seems entirely fair, but of course they insist that
- 30:59Speaker 8: they must remain in the women's competition. And to be honest,
- 31:03Speaker 8: why wouldn't you want to remain in the women's competition
- 31:05Speaker 8: if you could just walk over your opposition.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Don't all the.
- 31:08Speaker 7: Other women on the team feel like complete and utter cheats.
- 31:12Speaker 6: You know why you're winning?
- 31:13Speaker 7: Why are you playing into this ridiculous game. But of course,
- 31:17Speaker 7: until the women's teams, the actual women's teams simply refuse
- 31:23Speaker 7: to play these guys.
- 31:25Speaker 6: These will continue.
- 31:27Speaker 7: Each and every single one of those teams would could
- 31:30Speaker 7: very easily simply say, look, you've got five blokes on
- 31:34Speaker 7: your team, no dice play with the mixed teams. That's fair. A,
- 31:39Speaker 7: we're concerned for our physical well being, and B you're
- 31:42Speaker 7: gonna beat us. Look at your track record. You're beating everyone.
- 31:46Speaker 7: This isn't fair. It pushes them down the ladder as well.
- 31:50Speaker 7: We're just not doing this. We're not doing this in
- 31:53Speaker 7: the name of LGBTIQ, and it's got nothing to do
- 31:57Speaker 7: with being bigoted. We've got very good reasons. Look at
- 32:00Speaker 7: your track record.
- 32:01Speaker 6: We're not playing.
- 32:02Speaker 3: So two teams did forfeit for all of those reasons,
- 32:06Speaker 3: but we're really taking their life in their own hands
- 32:08Speaker 3: because the Northwest Sydney Football Association has threatened fines for
- 32:13Speaker 3: teams and players who forfeit, and have threatened legal action
- 32:17Speaker 3: if any of the players.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Complain that it's not fair.
- 32:21Speaker 3: So that two games were fourfeited, but the North Epping
- 32:25Speaker 3: team fronted up against the Flying Bats at the weekend
- 32:28Speaker 3: and lost twelve nil. So the only way this stops
- 32:32Speaker 3: is if all of these teams simply withdraw and start
- 32:34Speaker 3: their own association and have women's games for women.
- 32:38Speaker 2: But until that, in the future, this just continues.
- 32:40Speaker 6: That has to be the way of the future.
- 32:42Speaker 7: Otherwise this will continue and you've got your own sporting
- 32:46Speaker 7: body literally forcing you to undergo this humiliation ritual. Oh,
- 32:51Speaker 7: let's just pretend they're exactly the same as biological women
- 32:55Speaker 7: and we're all just women having a game of ball. Here,
- 32:57Speaker 7: No year not to Elon Musk now who has recently
- 33:02Speaker 7: had a really heartwarming, heart rending interview with The Daily
- 33:07Speaker 7: Wire recently, just a week after he announced that he
- 33:11Speaker 7: would be moving his SpaceX headquarters out of California because
- 33:16Speaker 7: Governor Newsom, one of the guys who was touted to
- 33:20Speaker 7: perhaps be the next Democratic president and has now fallen
- 33:23Speaker 7: behind Kamala Harris supporting her, passed a bill that basically
- 33:28Speaker 7: gave the state far more control over kids' sexuality in
- 33:36Speaker 7: terms of the schools keeping from their parents. Perhaps I'm
- 33:41Speaker 7: gender confused and I would like to be now recognized
- 33:44Speaker 7: as a different gender. This is not unlike our own
- 33:48Speaker 7: state rules here, not perhaps in New South Wales, but
- 33:52Speaker 7: definitely in Victoria, where the schools now have the power
- 33:56Speaker 7: to given to them by the state to cover this
- 33:58Speaker 7: up and basically transgender sorry transition transgender kids or gender
- 34:06Speaker 7: confused kids in Victorian schools not only without their parents' permission,
- 34:11Speaker 7: but without their parents' knowledge. Here's Elon Musk talking to
- 34:17Speaker 7: doctor Jordan Peterson.
- 34:19Speaker 9: So I was straight into doing this. It wasn't explained
- 34:22Speaker 9: to me that puberty blockers are actually just sterilization drugs.
- 34:26Speaker 9: I lost my son essentially, so you know they they're
- 34:30Speaker 9: caught dead naming for a reason. Yeah, all right, So
- 34:34Speaker 9: the reason't that's called dead naming is because your son
- 34:39Speaker 9: is dad. So my son Zavier is dad killed by
- 34:43Speaker 9: the work mind virus.
- 34:46Speaker 7: This is very personal for Elon Musk and I'm sure
- 34:48Speaker 7: many many parents who have had the same experience. He
- 34:53Speaker 7: did tweet when this bill was passed. This is the
- 34:56Speaker 7: final straw. Because of this law and the many others
- 34:58Speaker 7: that preceded it, attacking both families and companies, SpaceX will
- 35:03Speaker 7: now move it's HQ from Hawthorne, California to Star based, Texas.
- 35:07Speaker 7: I did make it clear to Governor Newsome about a
- 35:09Speaker 7: year ago that laws of this nature would force families
- 35:13Speaker 7: and companies to leave California to protect their children. There
- 35:19Speaker 7: was a lot of rightly outraged parents when this bill
- 35:23Speaker 7: was passed in California, basically stating, okay, Governor Newsom, so
- 35:28Speaker 7: the state is the parent now, which is something I
- 35:31Speaker 7: have said adnauseum for a very long time. Parents, the
- 35:35Speaker 7: state wants your job. Why else would they make laws
- 35:38Speaker 7: like this?
- 35:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and I think between SpaceX and Twitter now x,
- 35:42Speaker 3: it's about twenty thousand employees total. So those employees plus
- 35:47Speaker 3: all their families leaving the state. Maybe NWSOM doesn't care
- 35:51Speaker 3: about parental rights. He might care about what it does
- 35:53Speaker 3: to the economy, although the way he's trashing California's economy,
- 35:56Speaker 3: maybe doesn't care about that.
- 35:57Speaker 6: I will beyond safe.
- 35:59Speaker 3: I mean, Musk is pointing out an issue that most
- 36:02Speaker 3: people are aware of. I've got friends who moved from
- 36:05Speaker 3: Australia to California. They lived there thirteen years, and just
- 36:09Speaker 3: last year they moved back to Australia because their children
- 36:11Speaker 3: are teenagers. And they said, we just refuse to send
- 36:14Speaker 3: our kids to a school and basically we're handing them
- 36:17Speaker 3: over to the state. We don't know what is going on.
- 36:20Speaker 3: We will never be told. We're not prepared to take that risk.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Family comes first, we're leaving. They came back to Australia.
- 36:25Speaker 3: Elon Musk after twenty years of living in California, he's
- 36:28Speaker 3: moved his family to Texas and he's taking his employees
- 36:31Speaker 3: with him.
- 36:31Speaker 8: Yeah, and what Musk is describing the loss of his
- 36:35Speaker 8: son to transition to being a woman, and the fact
- 36:39Speaker 8: that he agreed to the puberty blockers in the first place,
- 36:42Speaker 8: not fully understanding what they would be and there are
- 36:45Speaker 8: so many people who have been in that position, parents
- 36:47Speaker 8: and children who've been encouraged to go down the road
- 36:51Speaker 8: of gender transition, who didn't fully understand what they were doing.
- 36:54Speaker 8: Of course, we now totally understand what those puberty blockers do.
- 36:58Speaker 8: We've seen very clearly the edict out of the UK
- 37:02Speaker 8: where where the NHS no longer prescribes them for children,
- 37:05Speaker 8: and that's been backed in by the new k Starma
- 37:08Speaker 8: labor government.
- 37:08Speaker 1: They've moved on this stuff overseas.
- 37:11Speaker 8: In the UK anyway, we're still here debating whether or
- 37:14Speaker 8: not we should even have inquiries.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Nothing from Australia.
- 37:17Speaker 7: Snubbing from Australia. It's worse than negligent, it's disgusting.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Indeed, we're going to go to a break.
- 37:23Speaker 3: When we come back, we'll look at the papers, including
- 37:25Speaker 3: Islamic leaders in Sydney telling Muslims they should not participate
- 37:28Speaker 3: in democracy.
- 37:29Speaker 2: That's coming up in a second welcome back.
- 37:38Speaker 3: Well, let's take a little what's making news in tomorrow's papers.
- 37:41Speaker 3: We'll start with Queensland's Career Mail, which has a great
- 37:44Speaker 3: front page story. The headline reads, at last the truth
- 37:48Speaker 3: of the one billion dollar Gabba stadium cost. Quote, they
- 37:52Speaker 3: just made it up. The original one billion dollar price
- 37:56Speaker 3: tag to demolish and rebuild the Gabba for the twenty
- 37:59Speaker 3: thirty two Olympic and Olympic Games was not based on
- 38:02Speaker 3: any government analysis, Queensland's top bureaucrat has revealed. Now it
- 38:06Speaker 3: goes on to quote Mike Kaiser, who's the Department of
- 38:09Speaker 3: Premier and Cabinet Director General. He told an estimates committee
- 38:14Speaker 3: that the one billion dollar figure for the government to
- 38:16Speaker 3: gabt redevelopment was quote effectively conjured up. He went searching
- 38:22Speaker 3: to try to find where did this one billion dollar
- 38:24Speaker 3: figure come from. It first appeared in twenty twenty one
- 38:27Speaker 3: in a press release issued by then Premier Anastasia Paloget,
- 38:31Speaker 3: but there was no trace of a billion dollars being
- 38:34Speaker 3: recorded or quoted anywhere earlier than that press release, which
- 38:39Speaker 3: led them to the conclusion they really did just make
- 38:42Speaker 3: it up. Now, it became controversial because when it was costed,
- 38:45Speaker 3: the cost came in at two point seven billion dollars,
- 38:48Speaker 3: So the question was asked, how could the price have
- 38:51Speaker 3: increased by one hundred and seventy percent And that's when
- 38:54Speaker 3: then Premier Anastasia Paloge said, well, it was a blowout
- 38:57Speaker 3: that was caused by inflation, construction costs and so on
- 39:01Speaker 3: and so forth.
- 39:02Speaker 7: So COVID also rushing Ukraine, they precluded that.
- 39:06Speaker 3: This thing had blown out, when in fact there was
- 39:09Speaker 3: never a real figure in the first place. They just
- 39:12Speaker 3: plucked a number and voters had to accept it, which
- 39:15Speaker 3: is pretty much the way Queen's end has been.
- 39:19Speaker 8: It's like when Anthony Fauci was asked, where did the
- 39:22Speaker 8: six foot social distancing rule come from? If you'reing OVID,
- 39:26Speaker 8: and he was like, well, it.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Just sort of like rocked up. It just sort of
- 39:30Speaker 1: came came to I don't know where it came from.
- 39:32Speaker 1: It was just there. And that's what we all ran with.
- 39:35Speaker 8: I mean, I just wish throwing numbers around like this,
- 39:37Speaker 8: and then they just become fact. Was how pay negotiations worked, Like,
- 39:41Speaker 8: you know, why can't I just walk into the room
- 39:44Speaker 8: and say, well, two million dollars, two million dollars, isn't it?
- 39:48Speaker 1: And then everyone just.
- 39:49Speaker 8: Started going, oh yeah, yeah, you're right, Oh yeah, two
- 39:51Speaker 8: million dollars. It's a million dollars. Everyone believes it's a
- 39:53Speaker 8: million dollars. A million dollars. In my bank account. Now, please,
- 39:56Speaker 8: it's actual turn.
- 39:57Speaker 2: What do you earn last?
- 39:58Speaker 1: Exactly?
- 40:00Speaker 7: I don't understand why people aren't more cynical of government,
- 40:04Speaker 7: no matter what the edict relates to, whether it's the
- 40:07Speaker 7: food pyramid or how much they say that the next
- 40:11Speaker 7: gabba is gonna cost. It's just like you guys just
- 40:14Speaker 7: lie and I don't. I'm always told, oh, you're so cynical.
- 40:18Speaker 7: You're so cynical, Liz, you're so distrusting of government. How
- 40:21Speaker 7: many times do you have to be lied to by
- 40:24Speaker 7: government before you're like, you know what, I think the
- 40:27Speaker 7: government lies. I think the government lies quite a lot.
- 40:32Speaker 7: Everyone calls you a conspiracy theorist if you don't believe
- 40:35Speaker 7: that the government has just batting a thousand and telling
- 40:38Speaker 7: you the whole truth round the clock. Someone scratched beneath
- 40:43Speaker 7: the surface and was like, you literally told people to
- 40:47Speaker 7: get behind this plan for the gabba, telling them it
- 40:51Speaker 7: would only.
- 40:52Speaker 6: Cost a billion dollars.
- 40:54Speaker 7: The truth turns out to be almost triple. And then
- 40:57Speaker 7: they're like, oh, well, I guess you know just inflation.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Sh don't be cynical. They made it up, but they
- 41:03Speaker 2: made it up. Sincerely, no, that's right.
- 41:05Speaker 1: And then don't forget the right then.
- 41:07Speaker 8: Don't forget that they commissioned a report into what they
- 41:11Speaker 8: should or shouldn't do for the Olympic Games.
- 41:13Speaker 1: That you figure used that.
- 41:17Speaker 8: Figure and came back and recommended that they should do
- 41:21Speaker 8: something with the Gabba.
- 41:22Speaker 1: And then they said no, no, no, that's that's.
- 41:24Speaker 8: The one bit of the report, the most important bit
- 41:26Speaker 8: of the report that we're not going.
- 41:27Speaker 1: To take any notice.
- 41:29Speaker 8: Ie, you know, it's it's it is amazing if that
- 41:32Speaker 8: thing gets done. That is the twenty twenty three Olympics there,
- 41:36Speaker 8: you know, it will be like remember the Games and
- 41:39Speaker 8: that was done by Clark and Door the ABC satirical
- 41:43Speaker 8: series and the lead up to the two thousand Sydney
- 41:46Speaker 8: Olympic Games. We've got to get one of those up
- 41:48Speaker 8: and running again.
- 41:48Speaker 1: If only John Clark was still with us.
- 41:50Speaker 8: Let's go to the Australian tomorrow where they say false
- 41:53Speaker 8: gods preaching against our democracy, Radical preaches, an extremist organization,
- 41:59Speaker 8: his teria have attacked Australia's democracy and the Muslim vote campaign.
- 42:04Speaker 8: Oh no, I hate it when people compete against each other.
- 42:07Speaker 8: Left eats each other, eats each other, calling it a
- 42:10Speaker 8: shirk and an insult to Allah at sermons in Southwest Sydney,
- 42:14Speaker 8: the geographical heart of the community.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Lead Muslim political movement.
- 42:18Speaker 8: Now a couple of the blokes who pop up in
- 42:20Speaker 8: this also happened to be the same blokes who we
- 42:23Speaker 8: were talking about last year in terms of the hate
- 42:26Speaker 8: preaching that they were doing after October the seventh. So
- 42:28Speaker 8: what a surprise that they come out with such radical
- 42:31Speaker 8: stuff again. But they're saying it's bad for Muslims to
- 42:35Speaker 8: vote in democratic elections, that you're in a post date
- 42:38Speaker 8: if you go and do anything like that, and then
- 42:40Speaker 8: in fact, we shouldn't have any of this democracy business. Infact,
- 42:44Speaker 8: what we should really have is a mechanism whereby well,
- 42:47Speaker 8: we just get to implement Sharia law because it is
- 42:50Speaker 8: not the way of the world.
- 42:52Speaker 3: And they're being cast in the Australian as extremists, but
- 42:56Speaker 3: in actual fact they're really not. Islam is a political
- 42:59Speaker 3: ideology wearing a cloak of religion, and I think it's
- 43:02Speaker 3: really important people understand that, otherwise I think, oh, what
- 43:04Speaker 3: is all this nonsense. Islam is based on Sharia law,
- 43:08Speaker 3: which needs to be implemented, and so what they're saying,
- 43:11Speaker 3: if you understand any about Islam is actually not that
- 43:14Speaker 3: much of a surprise, and it's why we need to
- 43:16Speaker 3: have a serious discussion about some of these issues and
- 43:19Speaker 3: how they impact our culture.
- 43:21Speaker 7: One hundred percent. Islam has always been a warrior religion.
- 43:24Speaker 7: It's an expansionist religion, and they don't believe in sharing.
- 43:30Speaker 7: And this is something that has always boggled my mind
- 43:33Speaker 7: with regards to Muslim immigration and immigration from parts of
- 43:38Speaker 7: the world where we know your values do not align
- 43:41Speaker 7: with us. Whether we're talking about how you treat women,
- 43:44Speaker 7: whether we're talking about the rule of law, they don't
- 43:47Speaker 7: believe in any laws except for Sharia.
- 43:49Speaker 6: That is their law, period.
- 43:53Speaker 7: Whether you're talking about democracy and that it should be
- 43:56Speaker 7: upheld and that it is very important and it's the
- 43:59Speaker 7: best of the only bunches of ruling any democratic nation,
- 44:04Speaker 7: they do not subscribe to this. So it always just
- 44:08Speaker 7: amazes me. And we've seen this happen across Europe, talking Germany,
- 44:12Speaker 7: talking France, talking to UK, talking any number of countries
- 44:15Speaker 7: that have woken up too late and gone we're not compatible.
- 44:20Speaker 7: But there's millions of militant Muslims in our meds now
- 44:24Speaker 7: and it's not going very well. We don't like it.
- 44:27Speaker 7: Australia has the chance to wake up in time and
- 44:30Speaker 7: actually import people from all over the world who love
- 44:33Speaker 7: the place, who come here because they recognize it's better
- 44:36Speaker 7: than the country that they're leaving, and they want to
- 44:39Speaker 7: become a contributing members of our civil society. Not people
- 44:45Speaker 7: who come here saying yeah, we just want to upheaval
- 44:47Speaker 7: this whole thing, and we're actually just here as infiltrators,
- 44:50Speaker 7: and we're biding our time until we can lay the SmackDown,
- 44:53Speaker 7: which is our law and we need to do.
- 44:55Speaker 3: We need to point out there will be plenty of
- 44:56Speaker 3: Muslim people in this country who participate in democracy, but
- 45:00Speaker 3: we're talking about pure Islam as an ideology.
- 45:03Speaker 8: Yeah, and look, look, look, look, you know, maybe it's
- 45:06Speaker 8: not an entirely stupid idea. If people who our enemies
- 45:10Speaker 8: of democracy just choose not to participate in democracy might
- 45:13Speaker 8: actually make the system run a little easier.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 45:15Speaker 7: But you say that mac. Whereas there's so they hate
- 45:19Speaker 7: preachers in Western Sydney, right, they have not been wrapped
- 45:22Speaker 7: on the knuckles even because they are saying, look, we're
- 45:26Speaker 7: just quoting our Holy Book, correct, We're just quoting our schools.
- 45:29Speaker 3: I don't think they're the extreme, that they're only extreme
- 45:31Speaker 3: in the sense that they are following pure Islam exactly.
- 45:35Speaker 7: But that is to say then everybody else isn't following
- 45:38Speaker 7: pure Islam. These guys have congregations of thousands, and we
- 45:42Speaker 7: have all been jaws on floor at the things that
- 45:45Speaker 7: they say behind their pulpits and encourage the sentiments toward
- 45:50Speaker 7: Jewish Australians just outright out in the open, unpunishable, because
- 45:55Speaker 7: they're just like, well, this is in our book.
- 45:57Speaker 6: What are you going to do?
- 45:58Speaker 7: Can't tell a Christian not to quote the Bill, can you.
- 46:00Speaker 7: So it's one thing to say, oh, no, well there's
- 46:03Speaker 7: Islam and there's Islam.
- 46:05Speaker 2: I don't know that I was saying that.
- 46:07Speaker 3: I was saying that not all Muslims follow Islam correctly,
- 46:11Speaker 3: which is what these people are pointing out.
- 46:13Speaker 1: And this is very quickly to other stories.
- 46:14Speaker 8: On the front of the Eads tomorrow the Greens want
- 46:17Speaker 8: to bring more refugees from Gaza. Can you believe it?
- 46:19Speaker 8: We've just talked about that story is if that's what
- 46:22Speaker 8: we need? And another one on the front of the
- 46:24Speaker 8: Els tomorrow saying that to the ghost bats, which were
- 46:26Speaker 8: those drones that we're going to be weaponized. The great
- 46:29Speaker 8: thing we need in our military, they're not going to
- 46:31Speaker 8: be weaponized anymore. Well done, Albow, you've really done something
- 46:36Speaker 8: to boost our defense capabilities.
- 46:38Speaker 2: We go to a break.
- 46:40Speaker 3: When we come back, Stephen Miles upset about a dancing
- 46:44Speaker 3: video that features Steven Miles that's coming up in a moment. Well,
- 46:50Speaker 3: as we all know, there's an election coming up in
- 46:52Speaker 3: Queensland and we're all sick of politics and elections. But
- 46:55Speaker 3: you've got to give the LNP this there at least
- 46:57Speaker 3: trying to make it entertaining and have a bit of
- 46:59Speaker 3: fun as well as reached.
- 47:00Speaker 2: The next generation.
- 47:01Speaker 3: So they produced a TikTok video making a bit of
- 47:04Speaker 3: fun of Premier Stephen Miles. Now they wrote on the video,
- 47:08Speaker 3: my rent is up sixty dollars a week, my power
- 47:10Speaker 3: bill is up twenty dollars twenty percent. But the Premier
- 47:14Speaker 3: made a sandwich on TikTok. He is an AI generated
- 47:17Speaker 3: video and this is what they posted. I got to
- 47:35Speaker 3: say when we watched this before the program at Liz Store,
- 47:37Speaker 3: it did say, are you sure it's AI generated? But
- 47:41Speaker 3: the point is, you know costs are going up and
- 47:43Speaker 3: there's Stephen Miles dancing. It's obviously a joke, but Stephen
- 47:47Speaker 3: Miles has come out very seriously saying this deep fake
- 47:50Speaker 3: attack video represents a very dangerous turning point in elections.
- 47:55Speaker 3: There's just one problem, Stephen Miles. The Labor Party did
- 47:58Speaker 3: the exact same thing that Peter up just four weeks ago.
- 48:01Speaker 3: They produced this video. I reckon peted Dot as a
- 48:13Speaker 3: much better dancer than Steven Miles.
- 48:15Speaker 1: Well watching that.
- 48:17Speaker 8: I don't often give praise to mister Miles, but you know,
- 48:21Speaker 8: I was dancing around the kitchen last night somewhat intoxicated,
- 48:25Speaker 8: and I don't think my moves were anywhere near as
- 48:27Speaker 8: good as that. I'm willing to take some lessons from
- 48:30Speaker 8: mister Miles very quickly before we go. I feel so
- 48:33Speaker 8: sorry for this poor bugger. Over in Japan, a named
- 48:36Speaker 8: Shoko Miata. She was meant to be going to Paris
- 48:39Speaker 8: as a gymnast to compete in the Olympics for Japan.
- 48:43Speaker 8: Now over there, the smoking and drinking age is twenty.
- 48:47Speaker 8: They discovered that when she was nineteen she oh my god,
- 48:51Speaker 8: she had a drink somewhere in Tokyo, and oh my god,
- 48:55Speaker 8: she smoked a.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Cigarette and as a result of that, they.
- 48:58Speaker 8: Have forced her to win draw from going to the Olympics.
- 49:02Speaker 8: Apparently this is part of the rules that if you're
- 49:05Speaker 8: caught smoking or drinking while you're underage, you can't compete
- 49:08Speaker 8: in the Olympics. I mean, for goodness sake, if they're
- 49:11Speaker 8: going to go through everyone's history like that, Look, if
- 49:14Speaker 8: they wrote it into my contract that I would have
- 49:16Speaker 8: no job if I'd drunk under age, I might.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Be unemployed for the rest of my life. I couldn't
- 49:21Speaker 1: even be a gabo forget that.
- 49:22Speaker 3: I just want to see you on the balance beam
- 49:24Speaker 3: or something like that. That would be to do that.
- 49:27Speaker 3: We're going to go now, but stick around. Coming up
- 49:29Speaker 3: is the Reader Peney Show that's up right now
