- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Time for the 49ers Rush Podcast.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: and here's your host, John Chapman.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_02]: What is going on 49ers?
- 0:36[SPEAKER_02]: It is so great to be with the faithful.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_02]: It's Tuesday.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_02]: Wayne, how are we doing my friend?
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: Huh, we're doing okay.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I'm coming off of an L, L, suck.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: I'm here.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_01]: How you get them?
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: They suck.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: They do and yet like you felt like it was coming.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_02]: The game was ugly like it was just These games happen and you see it all the way across the NFL and it's it's not like just the 49ers were the only Quality team with the great record that didn't come out on top like this happens in the NFL to Everybody eventually now there's never been a 17 and no Super Bowl champion just hasn't happened And so sometimes you got to take it
- 1:17[SPEAKER_02]: the mistakes, the turnovers, the penalties, the lack of execution, any given Sunday, early morning, East Coast travel, which I'm still feeling.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, I got home at 2 a.m. last night Wayne.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_02]: And you're up in the wake.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_02]: Hat to man, ready to go.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: Got it, got it, we got work to do.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if Paul was downtown.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_02]: We go hard to the paint.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_02]: We go hard to the paint, just, oh, that's okay.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_02]: That's okay, but shoot our next trip.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_02]: We're gonna be with you, you're truly down in Dallas.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be good one because there's no way in the world we're taking it out that week.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: I can tell you that right now, I'll put that on everything.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: So it's going to be fun, man.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be good to get with you in the crew and miss the family.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: And then you know what I'm saying?
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: We have a good time.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm doing everything big in Texas too.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_02]: So everything big.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_02]: Even the war is going to be big.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: All parties, the viral statements coming up, barbecue.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: You have me at barbecue.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: Bowman's cool.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: You have me at barbecue.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_02]: What's up, JP, appreciate everybody right there.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_02]: Now, and, man, I'll top of that, the 49ers are in a buy week.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_02]: They're expected to get back seven plus players based on the Kyle Shining Antpress conference yesterday.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: That is huge.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_02]: You got the trade deadline, which is two weeks away, which I love that the NFL pushed the trade deadline back.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: But it seems like we've had like three of the past four years where the 49ers buy
- 2:43[SPEAKER_02]: like Cohen cited with the trade deadline and it just worked perfectly, but the trade deadline's not until two weeks away.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_02]: Wayne, do you think like the 49ers get a trade done?
- 2:54[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I think they're getting something done in the next three days.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_02]: I put that out there and Twitter.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, everybody's bookmarking it to make fun of me.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's okay.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, I think the last time we had this cover, I don't know if it was you and I or whoever, but I thought I think they get some done sooner rather than later, right?
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: So you could get this person acclimated quickly.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: The last time we made a trade at this point, you know, it was, if I'm not mistaken,
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: a big one was for Chase Young and how did that work out like right like he really couldn't get going and he really wasn't a good fit and then you know he didn't so I think they want to get it done rather sooner rather than later I guess the question is like who are we looking to trade for it's going to be defensive line help is it going to be a wide receiver is it going to be a corner like it it
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: there's so many options out there, but I do agree with you, John.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think it gets done sooner rather than later.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: You said three days.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: I want to be surprised if it's Monday.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: We hear about something and they get them acclimated as quickly as possible, bringing them in on the by week, getting them work out, getting them to work out and ready to go for practice on next week.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's a thing because whoever you get now,
- 4:03[SPEAKER_02]: you get not one but two weeks of practice.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, typically you get three days of practice a week.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_02]: Usually it's Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: Now, you're headed into the by week and, you know, traveling from Atlanta over, I wouldn't be shocked if they pushed their practice back just a little bit, just so everybody, it's a little bit more time off.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_02]: But whoever you get now, you get that full six days of practice, which we saw, you know, with Kirk,
- 4:31[SPEAKER_02]: He had three full days of practice, but it wasn't enough.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_02]: He had to wait till the second week and then even then, still didn't do much.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_02]: The 49ers' offense is so complicated.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: There are pieces where you can plug a play.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_02]: usually running back, usually defensive line.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes corner or safety, correct.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_02]: Definitely not wire receiver, you know, not in Kyle Shettie and not Kyle Shettie.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: Not Kyle Shettie and Hans often, right?
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: Because because people don't realize that the wire receiving position isn't simply just the wire receiving position going out there running around and catching the ball.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's knowing the formation.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's knowing when the motion is knowing where to line up.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's also known where to be when it comes to rum block and because the right block can break off the big run hence the jewelry to walk in this block when you get the K-Lound black touchdown.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: But at the end of the day like playing wine receiver in this system is probably one of the hardest if not the hardest in the NFL.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I like it.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_02]: I like it.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_02]: I want to kind of bounce back just a little bit.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_02]: What's up, Kelly girl?
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk about just
- 5:36[SPEAKER_02]: Let not necessarily to put a bow tie on the game, but yeah, I like this from Lori right here just so many mistakes yet you almost won there were still so many chances that were there goes on to say Coward needs to get cut or traded he's had so many mental mistakes every single game I agree I said that Coward would have been cut we should go if they had enough healthy wide receivers.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: Captain Niners, do you think you out there suited up after the fight?
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I do.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think Kyle moving on from pieces.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: He won't cut the kickers, so I don't think they're going to cut Kyleing.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, look, Kyleing.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: Colleen needs reps and will he get more reps?
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he was targeting it what six times.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: If I'm not mistaken, he had three catches on six targets.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: He had one big one, which could have probably broke for a touchdown.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: How do you not run in a college check?
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: Somehow and fell down, but
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, man, a calling is is in the wireless evening room.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even think Collins, the weakest link.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think Brandon cooks is still the weakest link.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think Brandon cooks have the highest higher ceiling, but that that offense is really complicated for cooks.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: It takes certain times of wireless evening to come in here and be able to master it right away.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: Those these guys are no Emmanuel Sanders.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: So
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: can they trade for a guy possibly and it all comes down to who they feel is going to give them a healthy or healthy return.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: Is D. We're going to come back and be able to go for the rest of the stretch.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: What about Mike Evans?
- 7:18[SPEAKER_01]: Do you play with that?
- 7:20[SPEAKER_01]: Do you keep him on at bay and go trade for a wire receiver at the end of the day, John?
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: With on the next we're screwed.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like, let's just keep it a buck.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: Let's call a spade a spade, but with on and next, we're F'd.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_02]: B, I've been screaming it for since the whole Joanne Cheney's move there happened two years ago.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like that's what it is.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't matter who plays the X.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: If they're not an X, then it's a rat.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: And like, we know D was not an X.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: We tried that three years ago.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: That's not going to work.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: And so the only thing is to trade for an X.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: So I've been screaming.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_02]: I have been screaming.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_02]: I have been screaming.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: I agree with you.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: I look, Colleen's not good.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't know what they still see in him.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if they still feel like he's in the system.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: So it's better to keep him around.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's not doing anything worse.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: All right, you know what this is crazy, cause I'm gonna say this.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like Colleen's
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: placement where to be the timing the chemistry is off right but it doesn't drop the ball right and we have Ronnie Bell few years back who can get open
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's a trap ball, right?
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: So like, this is the issue when you got these young guys.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: I know a lot of people, I was catching a lot of, not a lot of flack, but people were trying to point out to me a big mistake on Jacob calling on, not running the route.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, oh, and what play?
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like I was trying to find it, and it was like, oh, the interception song, bro, I mean, I'm breaking news.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, calling, trade it.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_02]: Cut.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_02]: The culture trading quit Nelson to the Seahawks for a third and a fifth round pick.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and if the Niners not given up the capital, it is what it is.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: A.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: So go get the four is Buckner at this point.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: Counter that with the four is Buckner.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I know, John, you're not big on what other teams do, but at some point, you got to pay attention.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: This is the strategic goal.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: This is you think my battleship.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: This is if you're going to want to me, I got to want to up you.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_02]: before it would be the perfect, you know, yeah, it's interesting because the Colts been a first round pick on Gray's about to play left guard.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_02]: He's only played left guard in the NFL.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_02]: Now you trade for quit Nelson.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_02]: He's only played left guard in the NFL.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'm curious.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody has got to move to right guard obviously.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_02]: I get me probably move the rookie over or not.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: They weren't going to get a first round pick, but they got a third in a fifth.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: So we could give up a third in a fifth.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_02]: A third in 2027 and a fifth.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_02]: in 2028.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, what did they ask the Niners for?
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm curious to know, like, I'm going to say this over and over again.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_02]: The Niners do not value guard that highly.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: They don't really don't.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: They will work on a project piece for the remainder of the year.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: You're right.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: If it was a tackle, it'd be a different conversation.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: But guard.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: You're right.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: You're right, John.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: They don't care.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_02]: You're right.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_02]: And you have Dominique Pony for two more cost-controlled rookie years.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Connor told me it's coming off his worst game, but you have him for three more years.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to value that, like they're going to milk that.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to milk it.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: But I think the, I think what you do is you get buckner.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_01]: Am I wrong?
- 10:39[SPEAKER_02]: I like.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_02]: Grover a little bit more for what the Niners have, but dude, I take Buckner in a heartbeat like I Take a guy that knows the system.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, me.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, she could say her key was here with him right and you don't I haven't seen Buckner's play decline.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, so you gave me the big big six six guy That can bat down passes that can be a pass for us and a force or and still be good in stopping to run give me buckner
- 11:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it like I will say this.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_02]: My buttoner take comes from, you know, the last handful of games the 40 years have had so much past rush from the interior.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, dude, we got the 40 nighters need to get, you know, a runstuffer, not necessarily another past rusher, but they do then, then you play Atlanta and there is happening, not no past rush.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_01]: And it's funny, John, because you go back to that
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: And we've been past rushing for the past two to three weeks consistently.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: You get to the Atlanta game.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: You get three total pressures.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: And my only take on that is you brought back James Thompson Jr to help stop the run.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: And the 30 snaps for, uh, was the rookie name, Grayson Houghton and Sebastian Valdez.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: They had about 30 something snaps a piece of
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: they weren't able to go off, I just, I, my thing was if it was, but, but you, you brought in James Thompson because you knew you had to stop beating our Robinson.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like you knew that was number one.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not thinking he's the greatest run defender, run stuff and defense of tackle, but I guess he was their best option, which I think they did well.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: They held a landed 82 Russian yards, but bro, we couldn't generate any pressure on Michael Pinnitt, Pinnix.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_02]: Really so comfortable and he wouldn't even throw the ball down the field.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think you got all the way to the third quarter before he threw anything Deeper than a slant John the longest pass was the longest play was 21 yards That was as long as play
- 12:48[SPEAKER_01]: The culture actively purged Jordan Schultz, they're actively, actively, keyword shopping the forest buckner.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be moved soon according to Jordan Schultz.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: Will it be the Niners?
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: This is the ding ding ding ding ding ding that we need right now.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: I think this would help really ease a lot of the frustration that the Niners, you know, that we have been feeling over the several years.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_01]: This train should have never happened in the first place, but you gotta get them back.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, if you take on DeForce Buckner's contract, it's expiring.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_02]: Deali's got two void years on it.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's really not the roster bonus.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's not large.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_02]: Actually, yeah, it's 10 million.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_02]: So it's basically, we got that giant in the bank.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's not a huge issue.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_01]: Just chilling.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: No, very doable, very, very doable, very doable.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I will say this about Buckner, because, let me pull this up.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_02]: He's got four stacks on the season.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_02]: Now, he's played 11 years.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_02]: So he doesn't fit the, oh, sign-up and if he leaves, you get a compensation pick.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's kept when a player plays over 10 seasons and is not a quarterback, the most you can get back is a fifth round pick.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think many are overly concerned about the config return here.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_02]: You're trying to push the chips in, but I do take the that factors in.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_02]: This would be a one year deal, maybe you add them another year, but,
- 14:11[SPEAKER_02]: if you sign them and bring them in who are you cutting in that defensive tackle room I agree he's better than almost everybody but like you got to let somebody go that's a lot of numbers is a change of Thompson Jr. is going to smash the national does is one of those two.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think you cut the guy who you know is going to be able to be brought back to that practice squad.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: Right, this is where the policy can go comes in, you know, hey, man, I'm going to trade for him.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to release you and you know, so when did you clear waivers, we have a contract for you waiting on the practice.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: Cool.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, because you're not cutting hot and don't forget, we still might be able to bring like let me ask you this, are you?
- 14:54[SPEAKER_01]: Are you willing to bring CJ Westback if you get the forest bookner?
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: Or do you leave him on IR?
- 14:58[SPEAKER_02]: Got it.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_02]: He is the, he, he provides something that nobody else in your room offers.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_01]: What's that?
- 15:06[SPEAKER_02]: He can anchor, right?
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: You remember Robert Solicol, I'm a fire hydrant, and you just can't move him.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like whenever he's at his best, now the problem with CJ West is, it takes him a long time to come back from injuries.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: What has it been anchoring?
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: He has it was better as rookie season.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just put it like at that.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_01]: But maybe they would and healthy.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he can all agree then got re-engineered.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_02]: And so like if it's going to take that time, and you trade for a defensive tackle, man, let's just wait till you're 100%.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_02]: Like let's just wait, not rush it back, nothing like that.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I think the two players they don't rush back is day's on struggling and CJ West.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think those are future pick pieces for the future.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_02]: But then the whole thing with the Mike Evans, like, struggling to play it.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: But I can still trade for a wire receiver.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_01]: True.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: True.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: So you're just joining us.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_02]: Quentin Nelson has been traded to the Seahawks.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: I love John.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, shut the gut wait.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: No, he has.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: I know this is, I can tell right now.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: Can anybody out there feel the deflation of John Chapman right now?
- 16:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this was expected to be traded to the Seahawks.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 16:12[SPEAKER_01]: A trade of Quentin Nelson.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: But when your op gets them, it's just like, damn, like, come on, Gina, the labs are probably get the four as Buckner.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: Go figure.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_02]: And like, I get like the Edston reaction is, come on, John, let's do something.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_02]: They don't overpay.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_02]: This is the 49ers, they don't overpay.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, the reaction is the question.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: Is that an overpay, John?
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: You're getting a third.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_01]: You gave, you gave.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_01]: Quentin us.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: They've been on the value that spot.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: I know, but there's a different, okay, you're right.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: state here go back to the overpay statement.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this is not overpay.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: No, I wanted to know.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: That's all I wanted to know.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_01]: So no, I agreed that they won't overpay.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_01]: And I also agree with you when you say they don't value the guard position.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_01]: But they do value why receiver.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_02]: And they have value
- 17:09[SPEAKER_02]: like those they pay for.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_02]: And so, and there's other teams like, so I went through the entire NFL and I was like, look, okay, I'm breaking teams down into three categories.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_02]: Teams that are selling for sure.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's the Chargers Dolphins Titans Colts.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_02]: There's four teams that are 100% selling and done with this year.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: You really think the Chargers are selling, though.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_02]: I know it makes it, but he's not the GM.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he doesn't have control.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't have the control.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: I got you.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think I get they said that statement at 0 and 5 and then lost again and their division is I'm way to you know whatever so I'm saying Charger's dolphins tightens coats those are your sellers for sure.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe sellers equals Cardinals jets Cardinals don't apply to the 49ers It's not going to be an indivision in season trade.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's not happening and then should be sellers, but I don't think they are yet commanders bucks saints Texans
- 18:11[SPEAKER_02]: You think the Texans are selling bro.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: No, I said should be but I think that they should be I think that we should be but they won't
- 18:21[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that division is weird.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: Weird.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: We got to know that your coals are selling like, yeah, yeah.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_02]: When I'm Nick, can't wait to see what's up.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_02]: Parath, the man, it was awesome.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_02]: He brought all of his cousins, not all of them.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_02]: He brought Ted cousins down from Jersey.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: We had a great time.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: He says, took an L in ATL.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: Nice.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: So super chat, Nick.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_02]: We had a blast, even though I felt like I was run over by a Mac truck after all the hard work of festivities.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_02]: Can't wait for the Dallas game in three weeks.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_01]: I love Nick Bro.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_02]: Oh man, it's going to be a good time for the Irish rush road trip.com.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: Go to tickets now, man.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_02]: It is going to sell out.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_02]: So don't wait.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_02]: If you come to Dallas, don't wait for the Irish rush road trip.com.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_02]: Kim Bro, thanks for the super chat buddy.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: Missing, stout, and seagull was bigger hit than I thought.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_02]: Need to get those guys back.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: I do agree there and the last time we saw stout he got abused by Stefan Diggs who's done that to a lot of nickels throughout his career, but yeah, stout went stout's on pretty damn good.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_02]: Making Michael Pinnick's look that good was very frustrating to see consistently.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: Again, I agree with bringing these guys back, it will help out a lot, but I mean,
- 19:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_01]: Stoke has been playing well.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I just don't know, I don't know.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: All I know is we couldn't get a pass rush.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_01]: I can't blame that on the DBs.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: But Jack Jones was ass.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: So I could blame that on him.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_02]: So I just let that be a little bit about this.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to end the game.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: And then Price, I got a couple of stuff.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: At this point, just give the rookie the target us to know.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: But he got the push out on the hook and ladder.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: Right, he pushed him out half of your check.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like, yeah, I like Trisot.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_02]: His special teams like I see football like you on every one of us.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone is okay.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_02]: Like he is very aware and understanding what's going on in this it like he is a smart football player and so like when when tape shows that.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just like, okay.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I guess what I was saying to this comment was I didn't I didn't see much of the DB's being the problem.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_01]: I felt like if we could have generated a little bit of some type of creed at some type of a pressure or whatever.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I understand you can't blitz when you dealing with the got like B-jong because you blitz there's your check down.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: That's a big play.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: You're missing players.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: I get it trust me.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: I understand football, but man, we just couldn't get anybody home.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: That was ridiculous.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_01]: And we blitz don't get it twisted.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_01]: Jaya Brown sucks on the blitz.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_01]: This was Seagull probably what it came in, right?
- 21:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: Or stop.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: Or stop.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: right here.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: Hakim the dream to do that.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_02]: Love him.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_02]: That is awesome.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_02]: Appreciate Super Chat.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_02]: When the 49ers lose to the chiefs in the Super Bowl for a third time, party lunch and Shannon almost go.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_02]: One, I would love to play the chiefs in the Super Bowl.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a glutton for punishment.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_02]: If the 40 hours in the Super Bowl and happy guy, I want to be
- 21:31[SPEAKER_02]: The team that beat us like I'm that guy.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'll lose freaking 1100 and 101 basketball run a back run a back run a back we go get But if you make it in Super Bowl you ain't getting fired And I hate to see the shanny hand fire stuff after one loss Being six and one with the worst wide receiver core in the NFL out there It still had a chance when with four turnovers on the road early east coast kickoff game
- 21:58[SPEAKER_02]: I think Shanahan's amazing.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's got his flaws.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_02]: A band of the Runk game in this game that was stupid.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_02]: And he does it way too often, way too often.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe they averaged over five and a half yards per carry and only ran the ball 22 times that is bananas.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: Bananas.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_02]: just man to you going to drive to take the lead in the fourth quarter of four and a half minutes left no run place called again again pass pass pass pass pass that's my biggest complete there a Joseph thanks man he says John Lynch MVP on sitting on hand seven and sitting cover you got the four areas going one and nine Joseph oh man I'll let you take this one
- 22:41[SPEAKER_01]: You gotta go back and listen to what John just said, man.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_01]: The other John, you know, the John and charge of this team, didn't, they were not gonna overpay.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_01]: And they do value positions.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_01]: And we know defensive line is probably number one.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_01]: And then they'll probably look to see if Kyle could get a wire receiver in here, right?
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: So we just got to kind of fall back and just kind of like, wait, I know.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: I know, I know we want to improve the offensive line.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_01]: I think every faithful in the world is looking for that.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: But I've come numb.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: to addressing the offensive line at this point because that's not what this regime does.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_01]: They have a group of guys that work through it, whatever it is, whatever.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you haven't golden opportunity Joseph and I think this is what you're alluding to to improve your offensive line for at least another three to four, five years.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: John just said that they don't value that position.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: So what do we do?
- 23:41[SPEAKER_02]: It's just, it's what it is.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't think the Niners are going one in nine, but yeah, we'll see the first one to make a big trade was the Seahawks at ours.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_02]: And like I want to say this, like where were you, whatever the mile's Garrett trade happened, where you one of the ones that's like, oh, they're going to go undefeated, because like this is getting some of those vives.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_02]: And I understand the knee jerk reaction to see and your rival Super Bowl defending champion trade for a stud.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_02]: look at the Cleveland Browns in the ram strait.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't always work the way you want it to.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_02]: I do take quick Nelson will help out, but that run game.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_02]: The reason why they did that trade is their run game is it working.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's just ain't working.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, JP, thanks for the super chat you the man.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_02]: Pissed me off.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_02]: We couldn't get Nelson would have solidified the line.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_02]: They don't value guard.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_02]: The defending Super Bowl champions do learn from the champs lunch.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_02]: It's I don't expect them to change.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_02]: They don't value safety.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_02]: They don't value guard.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_02]: They just don't do it.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: And they never draft tight ends.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_02]: They just don't draft tight ends often.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: Um, no matter what, like I want to trade for a tight end.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_02]: I want to trade for David and joke you.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_02]: I'd be pumped for that.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: But probably not.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I think you got hurt, so like I'm not sure if he's even right, I love Joe in joke.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: I just think he's been awesome for so long, but yeah, it's there.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_02]: And so like, yeah, the trend that you still got two weeks, it's so maybe there's somebody that the 49ers are targeting on one of these trade teams like the, you know, eagles, the jets, commanders, bucks, saints, you know, one of those teams that's close to selling and maybe they're like, look, we've got to trade worked out with one of those teams.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_02]: If we lose next week, we'll pull this trigger like you don't have to need your reaction now.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_02]: You don't play a game for two weeks.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_01]: So you've got time, but again, we just started to show off saying that we need to make this trade ASAP.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_01]: I want to not not based off the reaction, but just to get the person in the building, get them acclimated, get them fitted, whatever you got to do, get all the formalities out of the waste that way when they get back to practice.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_01]: And this is how I know they're going to defense because it takes the defense way less time to get accramated to a team than it doesn't offensive player.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_01]: So that right there, you know, well, who's going to be the player?
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: Again, we saw, we saw Lynch address the edge position a couple of years back.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: He went after and got the first round pick, chase young and it didn't work out for us.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: So it's going to be interesting to see you to get.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean,
- 26:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Cleo Mack has what four and a half sex.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_01]: Give me Cleo Mack if you're looking for edge rusher.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because you want to make sure that the Bosa situation, you're getting the best bang on your buck for Bosa.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_01]: So this to me, this is an assurance policy.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_01]: You bring in a colluel mack.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_01]: He's the perfect model for a guy like Ramello height.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: They kind of have the same gain, right?
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: And so now Ramello can actually learn under this kid to learn under this grown as man.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_01]: And not would be perfect when you pass the reins over to Ramello height.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_01]: So colluel mack, it's edge rusher.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: And if I'm going to spin draft capital on anything, I want to edge rusher.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like you know what I mean?
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like give me the edge rusher.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: Because we don't do too well drafting those guys neither.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_01]: Unless their name was Nick Bosa.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_02]: I like that.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this, Uncle Salty, my man, what's up Salty?
- 27:15[SPEAKER_02]: Why is it the night or so one of the top five teams that the NFL today, but somehow it seems like the sky is falling?
- 27:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's reaction, I get it, like it's frustrating whenever you see.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_02]: arrival due what they just did.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so the seawks trade for quit Nelson for a third and a fifth.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_02]: I get it.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's frustrating.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_02]: It is frustrating.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: But anyway, now I do have a quick update.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_02]: We are doing our monthly zoom hang out tomorrow.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_02]: 530 p.m. Pacific time.

- 28:17[SPEAKER_02]: Wayne, how was the, what was the over under on F bombs during the watch party this week?
- 28:23[SPEAKER_01]: It was, it was, it was now, it was, it was not was bad.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: My son didn't enter until the reaction
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: He was good.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: It was good F bombs early, right?
- 28:37[SPEAKER_01]: And then they turned into mother F in bombs.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: And that's different than an F bomb.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 28:44[SPEAKER_01]: Put the mother of front of it.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's got a whole different connotation.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'll send it here.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_02]: Samuel Jackson.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh, you guys got to join that watch party man.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's nothing like it.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_01]: I never I've never had as much I may have more fun when I'm doing the rest real trip parties, but the watch party's been Y'all gonna make me lose my mind.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: So real quick.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_01]: Where do we sign up for that?
- 29:09[SPEAKER_01]: You go to www.patreon.com backslash.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: The way in breezy is the $5 tier for the year.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_01]: So it was $5 a month, but that's how much you get the rush.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it's saying.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, Cass.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: It was bad for there.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_02]: Get off of it.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_02]: Skywalker.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks for the super chat.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_02]: We need to want up Seattle names.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_02]: I want on this team.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_02]: Clil Matt.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_02]: The fourth one out during James.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: Can we pause on the Derman James?
- 29:37[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, never ever.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_01]: We haven't mentioned his name since the contract extension where we thought we could get him free agency or something.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_01]: No, that would be a great name.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_01]: He had signed for four more seasons.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_02]: Isn't that what we need?
- 29:51[SPEAKER_02]: We don't value it, but isn't that what we need?
- 29:54[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it would be bad ass.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_01]: How much expense would it be though?
- 29:59[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, his largest cap hit year, 27 and a half million and 20, 28 and 29 can do it.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_02]: And then what are the two positions they don't value?
- 30:10[SPEAKER_02]: Safety and guard.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: I love the James.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_02]: Damn, that's what we need.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_02]: I love German James, right?
- 30:22[SPEAKER_02]: Now, Cleo Mack, expiring contract to force Buckner, expiring contract.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: No one after.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that makes.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_02]: Terrius Latins free out there if they didn't bring them in last week.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_02]: I doubt they don't bring them in.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't see it, but yeah, and like I'm not big on one up in Seattle.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, I'm always focused on what is our team goal?
- 30:45[SPEAKER_02]: Like I'm not a chase the Rams when they do the miles get right.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_01]: That's not what I'm saying.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_01]: No, I got you.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_02]: I understand the reaction to that in fantasy football mindset and kind of like mad and mind I get that and But the idea is man yesterday the 49ers woke up and said how do we make our team better today?
- 31:05[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that that change is now post-quit Nelson to Seahawk straight.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_02]: How do you make your team better today without sacrificing long term?
- 31:13[SPEAKER_02]: One of my favorite quotes from John Lynch, whether you hated or you love it, they ask them, are you trying to push all the chips in or are you trying to build for the future?
- 31:21[SPEAKER_02]: And he goes, I think we do both.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_02]: Both.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_02]: And so there's this tension of, yeah, Ben, salary cap the next two years is going to be rough.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_02]: So getting these huge blockbuster deals long term contracts,
- 31:35[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to be difficult to do, but I will say this, like I just went through the chargers, because I think there's so many fits.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_02]: Here's a list of names that like I would like from the chargers, Khalil Mack, Dante Johnson, Dahlvan Thomas and Bud Dupri, David and Joko, he's injured, truly to Apollo, Tony Jefferson, Quentin Johnson, like again, he's the next.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like Quentin Johnson.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to overpay for him, but he is the next, and that's too strict as to feel vertically.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_02]: there guys out there.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_02]: Now if I could have any player, I'd probably take Germaine Johnson.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_02]: Where is he?
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: He's with Titans.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_02]: He's on expiring deal.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: He's firing deal already.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, I mean Jeffrey Simmons would be awesome, but that's like three.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_02]: That's who I want.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's like three first round picks get that dude.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's not happening.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't want to do that.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_02]: Man, you remember when we didn't have any first rounds after that land straight?
- 32:28[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my gosh.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_02]: That's rough dude.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_01]: That was two years of purgatory.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: That was rough.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_02]: Flynn, thank you so much.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_02]: He says Buckner would be a perfect counter move in my opinion.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_02]: Agreed.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, agreed.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, this is my, this is my take to Flynn.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm with you, you know?
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_02]: Is there anybody else that we haven't talked about that you're just like, oh, go get this guy.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, no, no, if it's not a next receiver, I don't want him.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about, just talk about the kid Garrett Wilson from the Jets.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: Is he next?
- 33:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, he can play everything.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, because I haven't seen him play it well, but if you say you can play everything, maybe that's an end to go, but that's a big contract right didn't you get extended.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_01]: So now you're talking on.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he is signed for he signed all the way through 2030, like he is not available.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_01]: That's that's not happening.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_02]: He isn't on the side of their stadium, you know what I mean?
- 33:35[SPEAKER_02]: and like even if they traded them, they get no cap relief, they've paid out so much money, they paid out, yeah, I got a question for you though.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_02]: I would trade, well, I'd trade a first and a second round pick for Garrett Wilson.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_01]: How would you feel about trading Christian McAfrey for Jonathan Taylor straight up?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_02]: Why would they do that?
- 34:01[SPEAKER_02]: Why not?
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was still one of peace.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_02]: He's not near as good in the past and the passing game.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_01]: But he's a better pure runner still at this point.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he's yeah.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, now his contract.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_02]: He's got three years left on its side through 2028.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_02]: no guaranteed salary after this year.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, yes, he's 27.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_02]: So you're turning back to clock four years.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I would do that.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_01]: And I know you asked me a great question on why would they do that?
- 34:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just thinking if you can not give a draft capital.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm trying to figure out what?
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think, I don't think Jonathan Taylor, these are coming here and learn much of the system.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_01]: Running back is not a system you got to, you just got to be able to run the ball and hold onto the ball in the past protect.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think, I don't think Jordan James and K-bound Black knows the system, but when they get a good run and some good blocks there, good, like you know what I mean?
- 35:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: Jonathan Taylor is right here is better than those guys.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just, I'm just asking, like I don't want to get rid of Christopher Caffrey, but if you're trying to move on,
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: from a player, if they were willing to take them, that's why you said why they would do that.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_01]: He stays injured.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, you don't see a lot of running back for running back trades, but yeah, the value because Taylor's only 27 is the thing.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_02]: He's in his prime.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_02]: Christian McAfrey is amazing.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yes, but it's come on.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like we're talking about longevity.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's talking about like Christian McAfrey's not going to be here forever.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: And he's not going to keep, we can't keep not giving him the, we need a, we need a guy you could rely on.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_01]: Can we rely on Christian McCaffrey?
- 35:51[SPEAKER_01]: I say yes, but we'll do it is my point.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know what I mean?
- 35:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like, after those ACLs, I mean, there was a killeases, excuse me, the attendance wherever he had a few years, calf muscles.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: We've been holding him back.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's just weird.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: He got injured in the game.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_01]: The weird injuries that his legs felt like he died on a watch it up the whole time.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_02]: So like we were there It's like we were on the minor size.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_02]: This is weird like it's like dude.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_02]: He's got his helmet on He's stretching their helping on like okay.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_02]: He's back in.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_02]: He's doing like it's like okay He's not all the way out because like when guys come out of the blue tent like do they have their helmet right So like I'll be with my wife or whoever I'm sitting next to the game and I'm like hey Can you watch the blue tent when they come out does a player have his helmet?
- 36:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's his head down, it's like, the body language is going to tell you thing.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_02]: Chris McCaffer comes out like a wound up freaking, he's ready to go.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: He's ready to go.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_01]: So whatever, like, you know, I know a lot of people think it's a bad take, but I'm other than him being older, why would they take it because they still have to play football?
- 36:58[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 37:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, it would cost you'd have to give up, like, see if we see it in a pick or some really if you would.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the game's just old.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_02]: Just the old.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_02]: I got you.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_02]: They paid them a lot of money.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think I think they're keeping Jonathan Taylor.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, it's interesting.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_02]: I love this stuff.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_02]: I love these conversations.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_02]: I don't people get upset because they get so tied to players.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: And like I'll say to this, I'm a Christian recovery fan.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_01]: Don't go to the to see it.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: I just think at this point.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_01]: I know he doesn't in the past in game.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's not the same in a run game, but here's the crazy part about Christian recovery.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't he one of the top leading touchdown leaders in the league as a run back?
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: So he's getting a one-year touchdown runs.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, hey, we're scoring with them.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm cool.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_02]: So I love the, you know, college, John, they always joke about it.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_02]: Like, we're tradable.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like, we answer calls on everybody.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_02]: Like you can't get too tied the ad.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's what it is now.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think the Niners are selling at six and one.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_02]: Me neither.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_01]: I just thought I only brought that up as cause the injury was weird to me.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's hard to trade injured players, too.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I think it was like, oh, yeah, my leg died.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_01]: And then I want to go back in and play.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: And it was like, well, this, like, them keep him on ice because they may have a trade pending or something.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I just think that that was happening.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_01]: It happens all the time.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_01]: Just not to us.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think we're selling anything, but we do need to improve and, you know, that defensive lyrum and the Y receiving role.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and now I want to transition quickly because you talked about cutting the kicker earlier.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_02]: John Lynch and Kyle Shetty and they were on K and B are this morning here's what he said.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_02]: He said, quote, we didn't have a kicker try out.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_02]: We have a lot of faith in Eddie has had a tough run early this year, but he did it.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_02]: Eddie for his body of work with us, then throughout the history of his career.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's going through a rough patch now.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_02]: We have belief in Eddie and we're going to ride with him in quotes.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_01]: That bothers you.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: Why doesn't it not?
- 39:04[SPEAKER_01]: You cut a kicker that was costing you $5.50.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: Because you couldn't figure out what his mental was on, right?
- 39:11[SPEAKER_01]: And now you got a kicker that you're paying $550 to, and you don't want to cut him, because he's having a bad rough start.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: And kiss.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_01]: That my ass needs to be worldly kissed.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_01]: It makes zero sense.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_01]: You got to kick it at a kick kick, an extra point, bro.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's ridiculous.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_01]: And all this football is going to go in either.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: So at some point, you got to cut your ties.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_01]: Eat the money.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_01]: Go find it.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: Kick it at once to kick.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_01]: That can't kick.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think with Eddie, this is a confidence issue.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_01]: And the last time we had to kick with a confidence issue, how did that pin up?
- 39:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, that's the only issue.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_02]: The question I would say is, man, any P was the best kicker in the NFL last year, like in the conversation for best.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_02]: So he's done it.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: What has you done for me, Lee?
- 39:59[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_01]: He's saying about last year.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_01]: He got paid because of last year.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
- 40:05[SPEAKER_02]: He is the 11th highest paid kicker in the NFL currently.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_02]: And I said this all off season.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how he's going to live up to the expectations he did last year.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_02]: Now he's not even close to that.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, it hasn't been still going to 40 yards.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that was off the up right.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they hit the freaking goal post and it was 64 yards.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_02]: I go back to he hit the clutch game winning kick against Seattle, okay.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_02]: That was a high pressure whatever, but Yeah, man, you gave your team a very difficult time to come back.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_02]: You still lost by nine, but if you're down eight, then you score hit the two point conversion
- 40:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's that it's isn't that crazy how one slight thing can change the play like how you call a play.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't that's not crazy to you.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_01]: It changed everything and so I don't know man.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: Look, I I want to be in my my issue with Eddie P is okay.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_01]: So John he said in an interview that he needs to go watch the
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: What on tape?
- 41:18[SPEAKER_02]: the biggest thing that they changed this year from last year on the extra points is now they're kicking from the right hash they didn't do that all of last year okay and so like you get a pick where when you do your extra point kick you can put anywhere between the hatches he goes hard right so the ball goes all the way in the right hash and he tries to pull it in he overcorrects and misses to the left too often and so it's that kind of sweeping kind of
- 41:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's not near as consistent.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_02]: There's so much more movement on the ball instead of just straight down the middle.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_02]: And so if I was the Niners, but again, I mean, if the kicker feels more comfortable with it than you always go with where they want it to be, do put that thing in the middle and just, because
- 42:01[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, it's been frustrating.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_01]: Stop trying to over-correct and just kick, bro.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_01]: You don't need to watch no motherfuckin' tape to kick the ball down in the middle.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_01]: You big kickin'.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you goddamn life!
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: They can make it make sense!
- 42:16[SPEAKER_01]: Just keep the ball where I need to go.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's 90, as if these are chip shots.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_01]: These are extra points.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_01]: So you're over correcting yourself.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I said he's in his own head.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_01]: And the last time we dealt with a kicker, that was in his own head, he ain't here.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_01]: Rightfully so, he gave us shit in the stomach all the time.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_01]: Literally, one out of the throat, one out of the shit.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_01]: At the end of the day,
- 42:42[SPEAKER_01]: Still like, I feel like, and I may be overreacting but I really don't care.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like we're slowly getting back to that.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_01]: And we can't afford to do that.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_01]: We need our kicker to win us games.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: We need our kicker to win us games.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_01]: Every game is not gonna be an offensive juggernaut.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_01]: Every game is not gonna be a defensive juggernaut.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes these games are gonna come down to an extra point, really extra point.
- 43:12[SPEAKER_01]: If you're injured, say I'm injured.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_02]: You're like it there.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_02]: The lake is there.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's not the, yeah, it's hurting a brain.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's not the snap of the hold.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's good.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_02]: The tip is good.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's just.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_01]: Well, not mess up on a stream.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't go back and watch the tape.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_01]: I just make sure I'll do that shit again.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to do at the moment, but now this is mental and I'm probably overreacting, but at the end of the day John Mike, he has to figure that out because they need them.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_01]: they need them.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you need them.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I still like Eddie.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_01]: I. Yeah, not saying one of them will bring in somebody to bring me.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_01]: You ain't got roster spots.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_01]: You got up to the stout who can't even play.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's dressed out.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_01]: Just come because you can't even get 50 seven guys.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know how 40 seven guys.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, that's fair.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't say sign them on the, I said bring some money in.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: Just trying to
- 44:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, get's it.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_01]: You try it on a punter, but the food was trying on a punter for a last week.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_01]: Let's roll him a corner's way, man, foot leg, he'll back side.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_01]: What happened?
- 44:21[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't hear nothing.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_01]: He got played in a month for special teams and now he's got an entry.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know about, but you brought him a punter.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_01]: Make that make sense.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_01]: Should've brought him a kicker to show him how to kick a year.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: Go bring back Jake Moody.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_01]: See what happened?
- 44:34[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 44:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's funny.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: Now that was fun.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_01]: No, that was funny.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_02]: I love you Wade.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I love you.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_01]: They love it.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_02]: You know, on social media and stuff, there's a lot of new fans and you know, we're not near as bad as Seattle because we have a history, but like They caught a stray.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_01]: That was so dope Trade 35 for that.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you find find some fans that know something about the team before 1994 now Jake beat the sister super chat left handed holder is new this year.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_02]: Do the holds are perfect the holds are perfect
- 45:38[SPEAKER_02]: Coralist wait man is awesome that it's not been an issue.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't seen one bad hold this year They brought in a partner.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_02]: They worked out a partner.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe his finger is messed up.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe maybe Maybe Eddie P. kicked his finger and we don't know about it.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, maybe I don't know how to.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm being funny, but facetious about the end of the day like I just Like for I see a comment out there J and I see your comment bro.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_01]: Aren't kickers the leaning scores on teams
- 46:05[SPEAKER_01]: majority of the kickers be leading scores on teams.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like at the end of the day, they have more opportunities to score.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_01]: I know we need a wide receiver, I get it.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_01]: We got guys coming back to play wide receiver.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_01]: We have nobody to kick the ball through the upright.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: And he's not terrible.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's just not consistent.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I think you want your kicker to be because I want.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_01]: My kicker to be consistent.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_01]: We had consistency last year, and no one stomach was in your knots.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_02]: This year is wonderful.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's different.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's different, J.M.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's different.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, right here.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_02]: The story is to kick or wasn't the problem, penalties and turnovers were, but it added to it, but yeah, it did, it added to it.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: The kick or wasn't the problem, he missed the next to point, notorious J, G, G, J, and that's a problem.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_01]: John said he added to it, I agree.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_01]: Everything else is right.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_01]: Pino T's, I don't even talk about that because that's gonna make me mad.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_01]: The turnovers,
- 47:09[SPEAKER_01]: I, I, I tipped my hat to Atlanta.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: They were punching the ball about the two interceptions.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: Now we got, we could talk about that because I really want to talk about that first interception.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_01]: That.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, go ahead.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_01]: Take it away.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: Take it.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: So let's talk about that.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_01]: Brock pretty first interception.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I know John, your film guy.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_01]: I know our brother, Johnny Deals, a film guy.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_01]: There are a bunch of film people out here.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not a film guy, but here's what I see.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_01]: And on that, put particular play.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_01]: from the hike, the snap, rock party after, because the first read was wide open, and he was looking at him, and the first read was the will route to K-Lound Black.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_01]: But because he doesn't trust K-Lound Black, he does it to the,
- 47:57[SPEAKER_01]: So that's, that's mess.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_02]: That Jordan Mason flashbacks.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's a Jordan Mason flashback bro.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly what I saw.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_01]: The part that pissed me off about it when I'm watching, I'm looking at it right here.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_01]: And I got it still framed for me.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_01]: The issue to that, though is you're looking dead at him.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: I can see if you did look at him.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_01]: He's looking right at him.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's right there.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_01]: Do, John, there was not a linebacker and 15 yards and site.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_01]: And that if you pulled a trigger on that as a positive play, a post to you scrambling.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_01]: So Brock calls the scramble.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's number one.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_01]: Number two, they were blaming Jacob coming and I, I scratched my head on this because I, if he stopped, he stopped, but at the end of the day, he stopped when, when,
- 48:39[SPEAKER_01]: Brown was out of balance, but you didn't stop.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_01]: He was covered.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_01]: Dude was manhandled, literally by Jesse Bates, like covered, oh, swat.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: So Brock wasn't even trying to pull the trigger to Jake with Colin.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_01]: So when I see Jake with Colin and that play was the guy that was in motion, he goes out and runs the rock, could get open whatever would not.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_01]: Jesse Bates had him kind of like bracketed.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_01]: He was open for a split second at the very beginning, but it wasn't the top of the rock.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't the route.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_01]: When Brock started to scramble,
- 49:05[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't stop running.
- 49:06[SPEAKER_01]: He was running toward the sideline with Brock party.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it was right there.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_01]: Jesse Bates.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_01]: So
- 49:14[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get to the end of that.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that was on Jacob Khan.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_01]: I know a lot of people say it was on Jacob Khan.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_01]: I also don't think it was on Christian Kirk.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: Because Christian Kirk's in the goddamn end zone.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_01]: At the end of the day, Brock had a wide open George kiddo running with him as he was going out of bounds.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_01]: And all you gotta do is just put the ball right in front of George kiddo.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's a catch.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_01]: and it's a positive play.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like Brock could have made two positive plays if posed to throw in that interception.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_01]: Then the interception was on Brock too, because that's not how you throw the ball out of the pass.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to show you how to throw a ball out of balance.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_01]: You just throw it out of balance.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_01]: You had two receivers in the direction that you were throwing it to.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_01]: It would have not been intentional grounding and you would have lived on to the next play.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_01]: So all that was on Brock.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like Brock, after on that whole play.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I'm going to let you correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I see.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what the play was.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_01]: Don't know what was called, but they were two people.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_01]: One person was wide open on the first read, George Kiddo got open on the scramble and Brock doesn't pull the trigger.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, y'all throw it early, but Brock we said this like he if he didn't trust you ain't throwing you the ball Like he'll check it down to you sometimes But nope, he ain't going first read to Kale and Black.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's why they traded Jordan Mason.
- 50:34[SPEAKER_02]: No, you got to throw it in a thing.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_01]: You got to throw it in.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_01]: I know that was Christian McCarris play the wheel route.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle use checks play the wheel route.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_01]: Brock throws that ball 100% in the time if it's those two.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: You had to trust it and even if he would have dropped it when it'd been an interception
- 50:50[SPEAKER_02]: But that was my whole thing.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, dude, if that's Jordan James, he throws that ball because that's what Jordan James does.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_02]: I wish he would have got more snaps.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_02]: He fumbled.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_02]: You pinched him, didn't let him back in.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_02]: Caleb and black fumbles, loses it.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_02]: You still give him all the snaps.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_02]: Like, use the guys with what they could do.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_02]: Why do you have Caleb and black was awesome?
- 51:08[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, 12 rushes, 63 yards, should have gave him the ball more times.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he should have probably should have had 20 carries that king.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm like.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_01]: Screwed him up, though.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_01]: That, that fumble messed up his
- 51:19[SPEAKER_02]: But to the interception, Brock has to throw it away.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's number one coaching.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_02]: That's number one.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_02]: He was just said that.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, I got to throw the way better.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_02]: Jacob Coward can't stop.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_02]: You can't Jake Brindle a pass route.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_02]: When the scrambled drill happens, you don't stop and watch.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_02]: You've got to run, you flash to the quarterback or you flash away.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_02]: And if the court, you mirror the quarterback if he is scrambling to the right.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_02]: You don't just stop, you said that he was covered by baits.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_02]: Well, if he would have kept going, at least what a bit of a contested interception a little bit more.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_02]: You don't just stop.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_01]: You can't.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_01]: So you're saying when he stopped is where baits do for the ball.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's the stop.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_02]: He wasn't going to catch it.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_02]: it like it based was in better position.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_02]: It was a dumb pass from Brock should have just threw it away.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_02]: But you can't stop.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_02]: You can't just quit like going to.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_02]: He just quit.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_02]: I don't get quit.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see quit.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_02]: Just stop moving.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_01]: No, he didn't ask.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking right at it.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so I'm looking at him right now and I know you can't see it and we're not going to share it because we're not going to get flagged on our channels and that's what they do.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_01]: So, so if you're so I'm looking at Brock oddabounds and then I see the stop.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_01]: So if that's what you're talking about, okay, because I'm not understanding the stop.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he was going to get the ball.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_02]: He wasn't in better position.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_02]: It was Brock should not have thrown them.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_02]: Like all you have to do, you're outside of the pocket.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_02]: Ball just has to land one yard pass the pile on.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_02]: Or the first the line of skirmish.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_02]: Like Brock is the chief responsible party here.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_02]: 100%.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like players that quit until the play is over and that's the reason why I don't like Brindle and I got you.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't see the quit because he was trying to get open and he was open first.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: So before Brock before he was covered, he was open and
- 53:05[SPEAKER_01]: This is, Barack is out of the balls in the air and I see the stop.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't see stop prior to that.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_01]: I see him running out.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_01]: I got to go and go and go and go and go and go.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_01]: OK, that's your stop.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_01]: OK, I don't see it though.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_02]: But I don't think he was going to get it like that.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_02]: I'm doing like 98% Brock 2% counting like it's a coach who put hey, man, run all the way through, contest five for it.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_02]: Break the ball up.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes you got play D. B. I don't know, but you are correct.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_02]: It brought messed up twice on that play twice.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_02]: PARA back in it.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for the chat.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_02]: this was a total team loss in all three phases agreed agreed agreed against a bad team.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_02]: Dale thanks for the super chat man.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_02]: It says believe the issue we have is that it's not that we'd lost it's how we lost it.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_02]: There's such a good thing.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there is such a thing as a good loss.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_02]: No scrubs in the NFL people forget that.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_02]: They got good players too.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_02]: Be Sean.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_02]: I would argue it's the best running back in the NFL.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_02]: I think
- 54:04[SPEAKER_01]: Are you saying that because he's a Texas long-worn?
- 54:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'm saying it because I see it.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I mean, I had that.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_02]: Tim or Gibbs, right?
- 54:13[SPEAKER_01]: Tim or Gibbs, though.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you prefer the top three to me and him Gibson and Walker.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_02]: This year.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_01]: This year.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_01]: You got better consistency out of Gibbs and B. John.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think B. John is the skier of your back dog.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_01]: That kid's cut ability is way different.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I think I think Gibbs runs hard and fast, but he does that too, but he can still cut you up.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's like Freddie Kruger out there.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I know I'm biased.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_02]: I am.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a long horn.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_02]: I've seen this kid play since high school, but
- 54:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 54:49[SPEAKER_01]: I can't go wrong if you if you like give tighten that chip, but yeah, I think that's why the defensive game plan was so hard to like evaluate because their job was to stop him and they did like I mean, they held the whole rushing team, which is him to under 82 yards, right, like to 82 yards to be exact.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_01]: So they did their job.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think just not being able to generate a project.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_01]: Any type of an effective pressure John the only pressures where heres grow.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm going to you didn't even hit him You couldn't even hit him touch him.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't even wait.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't even touch him.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: No quarterback hits.
- 55:24[SPEAKER_01]: Jeez Yeah, yeah, well, yeah, it's salty.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'll let you take this one
- 55:30[SPEAKER_01]: Uncle Saughty with that baby says I was against Saughty earlier than I was against Saughty.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_01]: I just think he got to kick the ball up the middle.
- 55:35[SPEAKER_01]: If our veterans make it back healthy and Lynch gets a couple of more great beard superstars.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_01]: The Super Bowl is still possible.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's 100% right.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_01]: Look correct.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_01]: The Super Bowl is possible.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_01]: They're going gray-beards because I think they feel like veterans give them the better chance of learning stuff quickly, and so I understand that, but you need some veterans in here.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_01]: You have a really young defense, and you need a veteran veteran on that defense.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_01]: And same thing with the offense, I think wide receiver and edges or defensive lines, what they say is what they look to trade for.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_01]: You bring those guys in, you get your guys back.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_01]: You get healthy veterans in here, John.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_01]: Now you can kind of play with that IR a little bit more, right?
- 56:19[SPEAKER_01]: You can make, uh, we can give you a couple.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_01]: We'll make sure everything is right, right before we bring you back, especially you're bringing an X. I'm not saying quit Johnson is my events, but you know, nobody's no, no, we just need an X, bro.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_01]: We like we need an X.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_02]: I love it Wayne.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_02]: I love the saltiness.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_02]: I love the fire.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_02]: I'm losing the voice at the end of my limit.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_02]: So Wayne, take us out of here.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_02]: Join us tomorrow for the, what's it called?
- 56:46[SPEAKER_02]: 5 30 PM or zoom hang out to go sign up.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_02]: Sign up for the watch party.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_02]: Wayne, take the show out my friend.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_01]: We want it seven and no.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_01]: But six and one is still damn good.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_01]: Faithful, stay faithful.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be back next week.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be previewing.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's upcoming matchup with the radius.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's got, we out baby, peace.
