- 0:03Speaker 1: Welcome to Revealing Wholeness podcast dedicated to revealing the profound
- 0:06Speaker 1: connections between body, mind, and spirit, where we believe that
- 0:10Speaker 1: true wellness arises from addressing the root causes of our
- 0:13Speaker 1: health challenges, not just masking the symptoms. Here we dive
- 0:16Speaker 1: deep into how holistic approaches such as advanced chiropractic care,
- 0:20Speaker 1: personalized nutrition, and natural healing practices can transform your life.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Now Here is doctor Troy.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Hello and welcome. I'm doctor Troy. I have a lot
- 0:38Speaker 2: of friends or new friends now from playing pickleball a lot,
- 0:42Speaker 2: and I play with gentlemen in the morning that are
- 0:45Speaker 2: quite a bit older than myself. This particular gentleman was
- 0:48Speaker 2: in his late sixties or is in his late sixties,
- 0:51Speaker 2: and he was kind of bummed because he was going
- 0:54Speaker 2: to have knee replacement surgery and he was thinking how
- 0:58Speaker 2: much pickleball he's going to to not be able to
- 1:01Speaker 2: play for the next couple of months. But he came
- 1:03Speaker 2: back after I think it was two weeks after surgery,
- 1:06Speaker 2: and I got to chatting with him, and he knows
- 1:09Speaker 2: what I do as a holistic chiropractor, and I said,
- 1:11Speaker 2: you know, I think you might find a fair amount
- 1:15Speaker 2: of help by taking a joint product that is literally
- 1:18Speaker 2: like grinding up an entire cowskeleton, discs, joints, cartilage, bone marrow,
- 1:26Speaker 2: little bits of muscle and tendon and ligament still hanging
- 1:29Speaker 2: off all of the carcass, and they grind it up
- 1:32Speaker 2: and dry it under seventy degrees and they put it in
- 1:34Speaker 2: a pill. I said, it's done. Wonders for so many
- 1:38Speaker 2: of my clients and for myself. I said, you probably
- 1:42Speaker 2: should think about doing it. And I explained that like
- 1:46Speaker 2: many folks, they think about taking one or two supplements,
- 1:50Speaker 2: or maybe one or two pills of a supplement, and
- 1:53Speaker 2: they don't notice a lot of change, and so they
- 1:54Speaker 2: feel like it doesn't work. And I told him, I said,
- 1:58Speaker 2: here's the rub. When we take a completely natural, totally
- 2:02Speaker 2: a live product that is going to impart nutrition on
- 2:06Speaker 2: a body, we have to overcome all of the organ
- 2:10Speaker 2: systems that are going to want all that nutrient value
- 2:13Speaker 2: that's coming into the body, because they're going to be
- 2:15Speaker 2: first DIBs on all of it, so to speak. And
- 2:18Speaker 2: so when we have a joint issue like knees, feet, elbows, hands, wrists, whatever,
- 2:26Speaker 2: those are the end of the line, so to speak.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Now the joints of the back. They're also pretty far
- 2:32Speaker 2: down the totem pole, so to speak. When it comes
- 2:34Speaker 2: to getting nutrient value, the number one receiver of nutrients
- 2:41Speaker 2: the moment we eat is the liver. So the liver
- 2:43Speaker 2: takes most of the nutrients that we're going to get
- 2:47Speaker 2: from our small intestine. And then as it's going through
- 2:50Speaker 2: the blood vessels, well, of course, our blood vascular system
- 2:53Speaker 2: is going to take those nutrients. And the heart is next.
- 2:56Speaker 2: We're going to have the spleen and the prior's path
- 3:00Speaker 2: which are kind of like lymph nodes, and the gut
- 3:02Speaker 2: and the lymph nodes around her neck and are underarm
- 3:05Speaker 2: and groin area. We're gonna have kidneys that are going
- 3:08Speaker 2: to take it, the adrenals, the pancreas, the intestinal tract.
- 3:13Speaker 2: You know, we're gonna have all the lungs. We're gonna
- 3:15Speaker 2: have all these organs taking all of this nutrient value.
- 3:19Speaker 2: And so it takes a bit to heal joints. And
- 3:22Speaker 2: so I told him, I said, let's start out with
- 3:24Speaker 2: two morning to night. Make sure that your stomach's fine
- 3:27Speaker 2: with it. If you need to a little rapple cider
- 3:28Speaker 2: vinegar would be just fine. And he eats fermented foods.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I said great. I said, if you want to do
- 3:33Speaker 2: less bread, pasta, crackers, chips, it will just go better.
- 3:36Speaker 2: And he goes, I'm already doing that. He said excellent.
- 3:39Speaker 2: And so we talked about how much protein was doing,
- 3:41Speaker 2: so we didn't overdo protein either, which is commonplace. But
- 3:45Speaker 2: he started taking it. And then I saw him two
- 3:47Speaker 2: weeks later and he goes, hey, I'm up to six morning,
- 3:50Speaker 2: six night, and sometimes i'll take an extra six mid day.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I said, how you doing. He goes, my knees feel great,
- 3:56Speaker 2: It's like really nice, and he was squatting and doing things,
- 4:00Speaker 2: and his muscle tone looked good in the muscle. I said,
- 4:03Speaker 2: that is excellent. I said, I'm so pleased for you continue,
- 4:07Speaker 2: but I want you to take maybe a day or
- 4:09Speaker 2: two off and see if you start noticing that, hey,
- 4:12Speaker 2: it's getting a bit more sore, a bit more stiff,
- 4:14Speaker 2: not as good as it could and then go ahead
- 4:16Speaker 2: and take a dose and now see the difference. And
- 4:18Speaker 2: so he'll report back to me on that. But it's
- 4:21Speaker 2: always very encouraging to have somebody who's just seemingly in
- 4:24Speaker 2: dire straits that all of a sudden takes a supplement
- 4:28Speaker 2: and they have just radical change, and I find oftentimes
- 4:32Speaker 2: that it will be that their diet is decent. It
- 4:35Speaker 2: has to be pretty good, because it's really difficult to
- 4:38Speaker 2: overcome a bad diet with supplements. In fact, I don't
- 4:42Speaker 2: think you can. So his diet was pretty much on
- 4:45Speaker 2: track with eating good protein, good fats, lots of vegetables,
- 4:49Speaker 2: not a lot of carbs, not creating a lot of
- 4:52Speaker 2: inflammation in his body. And so it was a bit
- 4:56Speaker 2: more of if I could have hedged my bets, I
- 5:00Speaker 2: certainly did on him. And so if you're out there thinking, man,
- 5:04Speaker 2: I would like to have less joint pain and less
- 5:06Speaker 2: knee pain and elbow pain or hit pain, then first
- 5:10Speaker 2: and foremost, look well within your own diet and then
- 5:15Speaker 2: call me. And I mean again, I'm happy to talk
- 5:20Speaker 2: to anybody. I just had a client that I hadn't
- 5:23Speaker 2: seen in probably four months. She walked in and she's like,
- 5:28Speaker 2: I'm a mass I said, hey, let's get you checked out,
- 5:32Speaker 2: and so we fine tuned her a whole protocol, her
- 5:37Speaker 2: whole regimen for nutrition, and talked a little bit about
- 5:41Speaker 2: food that she had some dysregulation going on. But ultimately
- 5:45Speaker 2: everybody's journey is their own. We can only do what
- 5:49Speaker 2: we can only do, and of course we can only
- 5:51Speaker 2: do what we're willing to do. So if you're willing
- 5:53Speaker 2: to do a little bit, sometimes a little bit can
- 5:56Speaker 2: go a very very long way. So until next time,
- 6:00Speaker 2: I hope this was helpful. I'm doctor Troy, and remember
- 6:03Speaker 2: there really is way more right with you than there
- 6:06Speaker 2: is wrong with you.
