- 0:59Speaker 2: What sets this apart?
- 1:01Speaker 3: Well? I think first we need to thank and congratulate
- 1:04Speaker 3: the Walkie Brewers. They had the best record in the
- 1:06Speaker 3: National League, and they had a little bit of trouble
- 1:10Speaker 3: this week, but they were a better team than they
- 1:12Speaker 3: played today.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Congratulations to you, Andrew. I remember in spring we all
- 1:17Speaker 1: said this was the best team on paper ever assembled,
- 1:21Speaker 1: but we know baseball doesn't always work that way. Why
- 1:23Speaker 1: did this work so well?
- 1:25Speaker 4: I mean, these guys who watch them prepare every day,
- 1:28Speaker 4: How much they care about winning and representing these amazing fans.
- 1:32Speaker 4: It was evident as we got going through the season
- 1:35Speaker 4: that these guys had their eye on the ultimate prize,
- 1:38Speaker 4: and that's to bring a championship back and back to
- 1:40Speaker 4: back years to the greatest fans.
- 1:42Speaker 5: In all of baseball.
- 1:44Speaker 6: Thank you, Dave.
- 1:49Speaker 1: You always talk about how this is an organization wide
- 1:53Speaker 1: success story, from scouting, later development, front office. How did
- 1:59Speaker 1: the sum of the hearts get you here, Dave?
- 2:01Speaker 7: Well, I think, as Andrew said, it starts with the passion,
- 2:07Speaker 7: the knowledge, the care of the fans, and you guys
- 2:12Speaker 7: set the bar for all of us. So thank you.
- 2:18Speaker 7: This has been a great year. This has been a
- 2:20Speaker 7: tough year. I gotta give a lot of credit to
- 2:23Speaker 7: these players, to the coaches, the support staff, scouts, everybody
- 2:28Speaker 7: that's not here. This is a one team, one dream operation.
- 2:33Speaker 7: And I'll tell you, before this season started, they said
- 2:38Speaker 7: the Dodgers are ruining baseball. Let's get four more wins
- 2:42Speaker 7: and really ruin baseball.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 2:51Speaker 2: You always talk about other people, but I think why
- 2:54Speaker 2: we all love this great game is it takes us
- 2:57Speaker 2: back to our childhood in the backyard mom, dad's brother.
- 3:01Speaker 2: What does Dodger Stadium.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Remind you of the people who got you here, Dave.
- 3:05Speaker 7: I mean, we had Bill Russell, we had Reggie Smith.
- 3:08Speaker 7: You know, the great Tommy Lasord is looking down on
- 3:11Speaker 7: us right now, Fernando. And when you put this Dodger
- 3:15Speaker 7: uniform on, there's something special.
- 3:18Speaker 5: We all feel it. We all believe blue.
- 3:20Speaker 7: We got four more wins, though we got a lot
- 3:22Speaker 7: of work.
- 3:22Speaker 5: Today to do.
- 3:24Speaker 7: Ed us, the Great Colbe Bryant said, the job's not done,
- 3:31Speaker 7: and the presentation's not done.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I think we need an NLCS MVP.
- 3:35Speaker 2: What do you think.
- 3:38Speaker 1: The National League Championship Series' Most Valuable Player goes to
- 3:45Speaker 1: the best player on this planet? Show Hey Otani, congratulations,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and his interpreter will show, Hey, congratulations. What's more fun
- 3:59Speaker 1: striking out ten or threading hitting three home runs? Home saying.
- 4:15Speaker 8: Antony As it was really both, you know, fun on
- 4:20Speaker 8: the both sides of the ball today, you know, really,
- 4:23Speaker 8: as a representative, I'm taking this trophy and let's get
- 4:26Speaker 8: four more wins.
- 4:27Speaker 1: To the people, to the people of Los Angeles, show hey,
- 4:34Speaker 1: and back at home in Japan who tune in too.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Dodger Baseball every night because of you? What do you
- 4:39Speaker 2: want to say to them about their support.
- 4:41Speaker 3: I did.
- 4:43Speaker 6: Bad, Minasa to.
- 5:01Speaker 5: You know, we want it as a team, and this
- 5:02Speaker 5: is really a team effort. So I hope everybody in
- 5:05Speaker 5: LA and Japan and all over the world could enjoy
- 5:08Speaker 5: a really good socket.
- 5:10Speaker 6: I'm sure they will.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I'm sure they will. I wasn't expecting that. And to
- 5:17Speaker 2: the kids, there are kids everywhere who dream of being
- 5:21Speaker 2: in your shoes.
- 5:23Speaker 1: What can you tell them about being great at something.
- 5:28Speaker 5: In this age?
- 5:28Speaker 1: Yoni?
- 5:29Speaker 6: Guess you must.
- 5:40Speaker 5: You know, this is really a wonderful team that I'm
- 5:43Speaker 5: part of, and I hope that the kids are inspired
- 5:45Speaker 5: and want to play baseball.
- 5:47Speaker 1: An historic day in this great game we love. Let's
- 5:50Speaker 1: hear it one more time for the National League champion.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Los Angeles Dodgers. He almost in it back to you.
- 6:02Speaker 5: You are
