Transcript
- 0:01Hey, everyone. Welcome to the Eye Opener Society. Welcome back,
- 0:06everyone. I am glad everybody joins us again.
- 0:09Hannah and I, behind the scenes, we've been busy, a lot of changes going on,
- 0:14and Hannah's here with us, right?
- 0:17Yeah, I was. There she is. I was waiting for a hi. Most people missed you because
- 0:21the last episode we did with Lynn Jordan from Urban Lady Prepper was a historic
- 0:26episode because you were not with me in the studio that day.
- 0:30I took a last minute trip. I needed to get away, have a long drive and I did that for myself.
- 0:36So it was nice, but I definitely missed it, but I can't wait to hear it.
- 0:40It's going to be so weird listening to like my own podcast that I was not on.
- 0:44Yeah. Thank you, Brittany, for stepping in. I appreciate it.
- 0:48Yes. Yeah, for sure. Oh, we did. We did a great episode.
- 0:52Um, but yeah, it's, it's nice to have you in the the
- 0:54studio but you're here and with you
- 0:57being here this is going to be another episode that's kind
- 1:00of taking us again in another direction because you brought
- 1:03up this one i did and it really
- 1:06kind of sparked me to bring up a
- 1:09lot of stuff with this episode yeah and then
- 1:12i had to hit the brakes real hard because i want
- 1:16to plan a show with our friend chris tell
- 1:19from twisted details podcast where we
- 1:23kind of collaborate on this because he does a lot of this stuff but then i'm
- 1:27like wow sometimes when you talk about mainstream stuff it can either get you
- 1:33in trouble or whatever you know it's kind of odd and i want to put the brakes
- 1:37on some things but i'm still going to make some solid points on this one yeah um,
- 1:43This one, for most of you, I'm sure if you're anywhere near social media,
- 1:47you probably heard the name Aubrey Wyatt.
- 1:52And that's what this show is really going to be about because I think she needs
- 1:57a voice right now because she is no longer with us.
- 2:00And Hannah, how did you find it? Because quite honestly, I'm on social media
- 2:05more than anything, but I don't look at anything mainstream.
- 2:07So you brought it up to me. I had no idea about any of this.
- 2:10Yeah. So I'm a big TikTok scroller. Most people my age are.
- 2:16And I just started seeing these videos like saying, you know,
- 2:21say her name because her mom can't.
- 2:24And, you know, obviously, I'm like looking through the comments.
- 2:27I'm clicking like the hashtags of, you know, justice for Aubrey.
- 2:31And, you know, the first thing pops up is suicide awareness.
- 2:36Wilderness and um you know
- 2:38from my you know experience of life and
- 2:42you know my own attempt i was like immediately like what
- 2:45happened um and you know her picture popped up
- 2:48and she's a 13 year old girl who is no longer here
- 2:51and it just immediately just took
- 2:54me in um and you know my heart just broke and sunk in that moment and i just
- 3:00was clicking everything and anything just to you know figure out what broke
- 3:05this little girl like what happened to this little girl so it was just something
- 3:09that you know when I brought it up to you I was like I have to do something like I have to.
- 3:15Get her name out there. Like I want people to say her name. Yes.
- 3:18And I, I felt the exact same way. Cause when I started reading through the story,
- 3:22um, I was like, it brought me back to our episode.
- 3:26It reminded me a lot of you. And I said, the thing, the biggest difference here
- 3:31is you are here and here's a 13 year old girl who is not, and it's heartbreaking.
- 3:37It really is. What's even more heartbreaking is story behind it because Because
- 3:42stuff like this could be so preventable.
- 3:46And we're going to get into a lot of it. But I'm leaving a lot of this mainstream
- 3:51social media stuff out of this episode, at least for now. Because there's a lot of backstories.
- 3:56There's a lot going on with her mother just trying to get her daughter's being
- 4:00a voice for her daughter. But she can't because she's under a gag order.
- 4:03And they shut down all of her social media due to lawsuits and all.
- 4:07So we're not inclined to sit here and comment on any of that.
- 4:12But I will say this, Aubrey Wyatt, she was 13 years old.
- 4:19She survived by a brother and a sister. She was an eighth grader.
- 4:25And so she was in middle school in Mississippi, this was.
- 4:32So that's just a very small, small touch of her background.
- 4:36Around but the biggest thing about her she's leaving a real mark on social media
- 4:42through her mom who really you know as a mother would i mean i don't know how
- 4:48anybody would react you know everybody's going to have their different way of
- 4:52reacting and if i mean if you're losing,
- 4:55one of your children honestly how do you handle it you know and there's just
- 5:00no way and everybody's going to do it differently yeah with her mom you know
- 5:04like the post that you know
- 5:05she has like that are still up um as far
- 5:09as like keeping going i just feel like keeping
- 5:12aubrey's name alive and you
- 5:15know keeping on for her siblings like her other children is what's keeping her
- 5:19going at this point in time yeah and i think with our episode again i want aubrey
- 5:26wyatt i want that name to be remembered and heard and it's just one name and
- 5:32i'm sure there's thousands and upon thousands of other names out there.
- 5:35But, you know, the main thing is we need to stop this. Now, I was just talking
- 5:40to you off the air just before we went live.
- 5:43We were talking about our demographic. As far as who is listening to this podcast.
- 5:48If there's anybody within that age range, you know, if you're around,
- 5:53you know, 13 through 17, say, you know, just listen to us.
- 6:00Hear what we say.
- 6:02Because a lot of this is going to be important because in the coming months,
- 6:06our podcast is going to focus a lot more on positivity and trying to stay away from this negative.
- 6:13And I think we have this very big anti-bullying, you know, campaign behind it
- 6:19too, because this is a lot of the reason why,
- 6:23as far as we know, why Aubrey Wyatt decided to end her life because it is constant tormenting.
- 6:31And for someone 13 years old and how old
- 6:35were you when you went through i forget 16 so you
- 6:38really were not that far off yeah i mean i
- 6:41was going through bullying when i was her age but my
- 6:44attempt was when i was 16 so so it took you a little bit longer and you survive
- 6:50long enough but sometimes that builds up even more yeah through those years
- 6:54and when you're young 13 there's so much going on And so much that you just don't understand yet,
- 7:01you know, and it's tough because right around 13,
- 7:06that's, that's kind of your first taste. I'm a teenager.
- 7:10I'm going to start trying to do adult things, but these again are adult things.
- 7:14You're subjected to a lot more adult things, your peers, everybody else around
- 7:20you, and you're so desperate to try and fit in and you want to join certain
- 7:25clicks and all. I get it. We've all been through that.
- 7:29Not everybody can handle it the same way and we need to be careful.
- 7:34Um, just exactly what it is we want. I think you got to remember you're 13,
- 7:39you're 14, you're 15, you're 16.
- 7:41You need to enjoy your life.
- 7:45Uh, take steps to enjoy it rather than trying to always try to fit in,
- 7:50be yourself. There's nothing wrong with being yourself.
- 7:53And the other side to that is, yes, there's going to be peer pressure.
- 7:57There's going to be idiots.
- 8:00There's going to be a lot of negativity. There's going to be people trying to
- 8:03press you into doing the wrong things.
- 8:06So the pressure is on you. We get that.
- 8:09And it takes a lot to start to understand and try to realize that some of this is not good,
- 8:17i'm hope i'm saying it right because i think the real problem
- 8:20here sometimes is parenting and i'm just going to call that right out 13 a lot
- 8:25of times you don't want to connect with your parents you know it's your first
- 8:28time wanting to be you know a little bit more of an adult maybe not 13 but you
- 8:32know definitely around 14 to 16 i would say um and there's you know and i get
- 8:37it you're You're going to rebel.
- 8:38I was a big rebel. Yeah, believe me, I really was.
- 8:43But you do you. You're going to be raised, hopefully the correct way.
- 8:50And raising kids to bully other kids or to make fun of other kids.
- 8:59This is the kind of shit that needs to stop.
- 9:03And it needs to stop now. Now, because how many other people are going to,
- 9:08you know, make that decision where they want to end their life because of your
- 9:14kid and how long before your kid might feel regret over that and then want to take their own life.
- 9:22I mean, who wants to go through this by just saying I'm better than somebody
- 9:27else or my clothes are better than yours or I look better than somebody else.
- 9:32My weight's better than yours.
- 9:36And it's been a long time for me obviously i've been around here
- 9:39longer so i i had
- 9:42a different upbringing a different kind of
- 9:45set of social norms i think back then we made
- 9:49fun of each other but we knew how to handle it um but i always mentioned we
- 9:54did have groups and we always had that person that we didn't like but we let
- 9:58them be in our group regardless it was just one of those things We still allowed
- 10:04it because there was a certain amount of acceptance,
- 10:08but things have changed incredibly.
- 10:11And it's this stupid fucking social media.
- 10:15This where we're so connected to it that somehow we reflect ourselves through it.
- 10:23I'm losing train of thought like because there's just so much so much I don't
- 10:27understand because I mean I went through the entire generation from its start
- 10:31to its you know to where it is now and I don't see it getting any better.
- 10:36I don't see where, you know, social media is going to get better or where it's going to change.
- 10:42But it's trying also now, like when you look at Aubrey Wyatt's mom using social
- 10:48media as a way to try and stop this or to call it out.
- 10:54And grieve. And grieve.
- 10:57And then that gets stopped. But all the bullying remains.
- 11:01Yeah. She gets silenced. Yeah. How is that right? Right.
- 11:05I, there's literally stuff criminal going on, on the internet,
- 11:09on social media, and it's not even, no one even blinks an eye over it.
- 11:14But yeah, when you're trying to stand up and you're trying to stop bullying,
- 11:19or you're trying to grieve over a suicide and make awareness for it,
- 11:24and then you get a gag order.
- 11:26Now, like I said, I'm not going to comment on much of this because a lot of
- 11:29this, again, I don't know.
- 11:31And if I don't know, I don't want to say the wrong thing.
- 11:34I'm not here to, you know, pass judgment. I'm not here to, you know,
- 11:38this is just based upon what, you know, I read.
- 11:41But again, it falls back to social media. It's a social media issue.
- 11:45It's a generational issue. It's so easy for kids just to hide behind screens
- 11:51and twiddle their thumbs and just put the words out there.
- 11:54You know, when I, when I was growing up, you know, social media did have a big
- 11:59part of my bullying as well.
- 12:00But when I learned about social media, Like when my generation learned about social media,
- 12:05it was stressed into our brains that once it's out there, it's out there,
- 12:10you know, and that's just something that I feel like isn't bashed into children's brains nowadays.
- 12:19They just think that they can say what they want and then they delete it and
- 12:22it just gets taken back. That's not how it works.
- 12:25You know, you read it and millions of other people read it. And then just because
- 12:28you deleted it, oh, well, someone who wants to be a jokester is going to repeat the same thing.
- 12:33It's just a continuous cycle that...
- 12:37Brainwashes somebody with, you know, mental, maybe Aubrey, like we're not speculating
- 12:43anything, but maybe Aubrey had some type of mental, something going on where,
- 12:47you know, she could have had anxiety and she couldn't handle it.
- 12:49So, you know, she's getting fed all of this hate and bullying and it's maybe
- 12:54she's someone who was like, who's like me, you know, maybe she was someone who
- 12:59was like me that it just suffocated her brain.
- 13:02And that is the power of social media and the power of words that parents are
- 13:09allowing their children to sit there and say about other kids.
- 13:15And who knows? Maybe the parents didn't know.
- 13:17I don't know. Like we said, we're not getting into it too much. It's speculation.
- 13:21Maybe we'll know more when more comes out about it.
- 13:24And I don't want to cut you off, but on that note, maybe the parents didn't
- 13:28know. Well, that's your fault.
- 13:30That's what I was getting to. That is their fault because Because you need,
- 13:34as a parent, you don't just hand your child a cell phone or a laptop or an iPad
- 13:39or whatever the hell it is and just free reign them.
- 13:43There's parental controls for a reason. There is limited screen time for a reason.
- 13:49And I'm not telling you how to parent.
- 13:52But if you're not going to monitor what your child is saying to another child
- 13:57or another human being, then you're doing it completely fucking wrong.
- 14:01And I'm going to tell you that straight up because this little girl is no longer
- 14:07here because there were parents out there not watching what their fucking kids were saying to people.
- 14:12And I'm sorry, I'm going to be heated this entire podcast because this is a
- 14:17child who lost her life last year in September.
- 14:20And she is no longer here she
- 14:23would be i think if i'm getting her birthday right she
- 14:26would be 14 right now she would be entering into high school
- 14:29soon yeah this this coming
- 14:32summer like fall she would be entering high school
- 14:35for the first time she will never get her first homecoming dance she
- 14:39will never go to prom her mother was
- 14:42ripped away from those special moments due
- 14:45to other their parents negligence on watching what
- 14:48the fuck their kids were saying and you
- 14:52have every right to be fired up over this because i am
- 14:55too because no matter how i look at it you know i i don't even like to use the
- 15:00word stepdaughter anymore which are you way closer to me more than anything
- 15:03else and i think the same thing too like you probably could not be here right
- 15:10now because of the same And also, listen,
- 15:13who knows what else was going on in Aubrey's head, even with the bullying.
- 15:21Aside from that, who knows what was going on?
- 15:24Maybe there was something else going on and couldn't speak out or whatever it may be.
- 15:29The tragedy of it is the fact that
- 15:32whatever was bothering her so much was
- 15:36example you know was so she was pushed over the edge by these idiotic nonsense
- 15:43that young kids think they're so much better than everybody else and that's
- 15:49that is that's a parenting issue and like i said this is generational.
- 15:55I, you know, I could sit and say, I was mad at my parents the whole time for
- 15:59always being in my stuff and all, but they were doing what they felt was right.
- 16:04And they were keeping on top of me. And I can't say that that's a bad thing.
- 16:08It's not a bad thing because look at me.
- 16:10My mom literally watched every single thing I posted on any type of social media.
- 16:15My mom had my passwords to my aim, my AOL, like my email, like my mom had everything
- 16:21because she, and if I I posted something that was even remotely aggressive.
- 16:26My mom was on my ass. Like you better delete that and you better fucking apologize.
- 16:29You know, it's so old timey to say this, but you know.
- 16:34My mom always said like, like, you know, that saying that people say like sticks
- 16:38and stones may break my bone, you know, break your bones, but words will never hurt.
- 16:42But my mom's like, that's bullshit because words do hurt. Words push people over the edge.
- 16:47And that was embedded in my brain. And like I said, even when I remotely would
- 16:51be rude to someone, even if they were being rude to me first,
- 16:54my mom was like, cut that shit out because my mom watched and she didn't allow
- 16:57me to become a bully because I was being bullied.
- 17:02Right. My bad. Exactly. But we really need to start watching because you could
- 17:10say, well, even before the internet people were doing this, you're absolutely right.
- 17:15They were. But the thing is right now, the accessibility to go further.
- 17:23It was one thing to go into school.
- 17:25You could, you know, at times you were within a group, like in a playground
- 17:29or something, and you could be bullied. But then it was just small doses,
- 17:34not saying that it's correct or anything.
- 17:37But I really feel for some reason that this social media has given so much more
- 17:44access straight into the personal lives of people that it's getting out of hand.
- 17:52And you're literally, it's no different than giving somebody access to,
- 17:57you know, your front door and allowing them in inside of your life at all times.
- 18:04And that's where I feel suicide is growing.
- 18:09The bullying is growing all because of this social media, this internet,
- 18:16this, you know, it stems from this. I really, it stems from this.
- 18:21I'm sure there's other things, but I'm just trying to look at it generationally.
- 18:26Yes, we can use internet for good. We could use a lot of things for good,
- 18:32but us as humans, we keep finding ways to weaponize everything instead of using it for good.
- 18:39I've learned that I don't like Facebook. However, I can actually use it to my benefit.
- 18:45There's ways around it. There's ways to shut things out. But with the social
- 18:49media now, for somebody who is so young and not really thinking as an adult.
- 18:58Yeah, you're going to wind up thinking incorrectly and then having people on
- 19:07top of you all the time judging you, pointing things out to you.
- 19:10You're fat, you're too thin, you're not wearing the right clothes,
- 19:14you know, you smell all these childish things.
- 19:18And as adults, we seem, it seems innocent, but when it's constant and it's always there,
- 19:24every time you log in, cause now, I mean, you got to log into everything,
- 19:27even for schoolwork now and all people have access and look,
- 19:32and aside from the suicide suicide, kidnapping.
- 19:37It's so much more easier. You know, this entire sex trade, it's all done through
- 19:44luring people that, you know, young children, because they just don't have the,
- 19:50you know, common sense yet.
- 19:52And they're being manipulated and they're being kidnapped and all.
- 19:55And that's what I'm saying. If you're a parent and you're not aware of what
- 19:59your kid is doing on the internet, well, shame on you.
- 20:04I don't want this stuff to happen to you. As a matter of fact,
- 20:06I don't want it to happen to anyone.
- 20:09And hopefully, I mean, we're just a stupid podcast, you know,
- 20:13but we need to get this word out and we need to all look out for each other.
- 20:21We need to look out for other kids. If we see a child being followed by somebody
- 20:25that doesn't look right say something do something we just become a nation where
- 20:29we just whip out our cell phones and videotape somebody being kidnapped yeah
- 20:32and that's it nobody steps in nobody helps,
- 20:35yeah we might have video footage of it but but the child's gone,
- 20:41it's become a very frightening world and people like uh aubrey wyatt.
- 20:49Their name is going to, you know, hopefully change things, you would hope.
- 20:56Yeah, I mean, I hope that people would, you know, once this story reaches people,
- 21:01I hope that they would take a step back. And, you know, if they see that their
- 21:04child is, you know, struggling, you know, get them the help they need.
- 21:08Don't stop fighting and fighting and fighting. if the school doesn't want to
- 21:12listen, you go to your state senator.
- 21:14You take it to where it needs to be to prevent what happened with Aubrey to happen to your child.
- 21:21Or if you see that your child is, you know, even if it's something small where
- 21:27you hear your child making a dig at your friend or at their friend or something
- 21:31like that, that's a sign that if they're doing that to their friend,
- 21:35that they're easily going to do it to somebody that they don't like.
- 21:39So you need to to watch that and you need to correct that. We need to,
- 21:43as a society, especially as parents, to teach our children to be kind and that
- 21:49it's okay for kids to be different. It's okay for kids to wear glasses.
- 21:53It's okay for kids to have messed up teeth. It's okay for kids to be skinny or chunky.
- 21:58Everyone is made in their own way. Some people have medical conditions.
- 22:04It's okay to be different. If we were all the same, the world would be so boring.
- 22:09We are made the way that we are supposed to be made.
- 22:12And it's time for parents to stop showing their children reactions to different
- 22:22types of people because that is what creates bullies.
- 22:27Children notice everything. They hear and respond to things more than people realize.
- 22:34I have a two and a half year old and we have said stuff, you know,
- 22:39and we're like, then we'll hear Kate and repeating it right after us.
- 22:42And I'm just like, Oh crap.
- 22:44You know? And then, you know, luckily he's at that age where he will forget,
- 22:47but you know, when he, I try my best to filter myself already,
- 22:53even when my child's two and a half,
- 22:55because, you know, sooner, you know, it's coming up soon that he's going to
- 22:58start remembering words.
- 22:59He's going to start remembering, Remembering, oh, mom said that person is this
- 23:03or mom said that person is that, you know, out of anger. Sometimes I'm like, oh, God, what a bitch.
- 23:08You know, I'm not going to do that because that opens my child's mind up to
- 23:12that vocabulary to think that it's okay to use that towards other people that
- 23:16he might just not vibe with, you know, and that's okay.
- 23:20I'm not saying that you have to like everybody, but if you don't have anything
- 23:23nice to say, don't fucking say it at all.
- 23:26It's a very simple concept. Yes, you do have a right to not like somebody.
- 23:30And that's all good and well. That's how we decide, you know,
- 23:33who's right for us, who's wrong. There's energies based off of that.
- 23:37But yeah, just because we don't like someone doesn't mean we need to wish harm
- 23:43on them or wish ill upon them or badger them or drive them to the point where
- 23:49it's so overwhelming that they decide to take their own life.
- 23:54We don't know what's going on in people's heads. And just speaking of that,
- 23:58anybody who is listening to us right now, if you do have any of these thoughts,
- 24:04listen, Hannah and I, we're not therapists or anything like that.
- 24:07Please, what I really like is two things.
- 24:10If you really do feel like harming yourself, you can call 911 and do so.
- 24:14So, um, but if you do want somebody to talk to one of the greatest things I
- 24:18set up, instead of having a long phone number, you can dial nine eight,
- 24:23eight for help. All right. Nine eight, eight.
- 24:26Or if you don't feel like talking, cause a lot of people don't feel comfortable
- 24:29talking and we're so used to, you know, texting, you could contact nine eight, eight lifeline.org.
- 24:38And then you could chat. All right. But please keep that number,
- 24:42988, if you are feeling like harming yourself or if you have any kind of thoughts
- 24:47or you just need somebody to talk to because everybody does.
- 24:50We all wind up at some point feeling hurt.
- 24:53Bad about ourselves. We don't feel comfortable with ourselves.
- 24:57Um, sometimes we feel life is just so overwhelming.
- 25:01Yes. And because of Aubrey, why, and because of this, um, episode that we're
- 25:06doing, Hannah and I, we're going to take some time because I open a society
- 25:10does deal a lot with life, but it's a spiritual, you know, podcast as well.
- 25:16And we're going to focus a lot more on positivity In the coming months,
- 25:22we're going to have certain episodes dedicated to specific things,
- 25:25you know, that are more positive, things that are going to uplift you because
- 25:29I don't think that there's enough of that.
- 25:32And Hannah, you're the perfect person, spokesperson for this.
- 25:36You've lived through it and you lived.
- 25:39And, you know, that's a very strong statement because not everybody has.
- 25:44Aubrey Wyatt did not.
- 25:46I get choked up talking about her because it makes me think if I knew her,
- 25:51how much I would not allow her to give up.
- 25:56If I knew her, I would hug her and just tell her I made it. I made it through
- 26:02it. I'm going through it.
- 26:05You can do it. You know what I mean? And it's just like, I like,
- 26:09I know I would probably have never met her in my life.
- 26:12You know what I mean? But it's just like, it gets me choked up because it's
- 26:15like, if I could have, you know, I don't like to think about the what ifs.
- 26:19But when I see a story about a little girl who went through something that I
- 26:25did with bullying being so bad, especially with the social media,
- 26:28it just like pulls my heartstring so far.
- 26:31Because if I would have known her, like, you know, who knows,
- 26:36you know, I could have told her my story and been like, you're going to go through it.
- 26:40You're going to, it's going to be hard, but you're going to get through it.
- 26:45It's hard. It is. But the thing is, right now, we have a voice.
- 26:49We have a small platform.
- 26:52Hopefully, someone hears this as well. You're not alone.
- 26:56You're really not. There's always somebody thinking. We did this show specifically
- 27:01for parents because I really feel that's where it all starts.
- 27:08We're doing it for the bullies and you need to stop.
- 27:13And we're definitely doing it for those that did not make it,
- 27:15those that felt so overwhelmed that they had to take their own lives.
- 27:19We'll be a voice for them.
- 27:21We'll stand up for them. We'll stand up for everyone between Aubrey Wyatt and anybody else.
- 27:29You can message us on Facebook. You can send an email, theeyeopenersociety at gmail.com.
- 27:37If you just want to chat about something, tell us a story, tell us about your
- 27:42life, whatever it may be.
- 27:44But again, if you're really, really feeling depressed and if you really need
- 27:48help, dial 988 or 911 if it's that much of an emergency. or you can use the chat 988 lifeline.org.
- 27:59Um, we're going, like I said, we are going to use Aubrey Wyatt as a catalyst
- 28:06for our future episodes to change things up a little bit, to be more uplifting,
- 28:11to teach you more about positivity,
- 28:13to show you that you're good.
- 28:16You're perfect you're fine the way you are everybody
- 28:20wants to change you know and you
- 28:23can that's not a problem but it's got to be done
- 28:26the right way and it's got to be because you want to not because you're being
- 28:29influenced or people are bullying you yeah you know we're going to give you
- 28:33a little more strength some more understanding behind you like i said our demographics
- 28:38we probably don't have a whole lot but parents listen to us you know maybe you do have.
- 28:45Sons or daughters, you know, that need to hear some things, let them listen,
- 28:52you know, listen to our podcast first before you let them listen.
- 28:55You know, I do drop F-bombs a lot. Yeah, we do.
- 28:58But you know, you decide what they're going to listen to, but listen to it.
- 29:02Maybe we say something that you could pass on to them.
- 29:05Again, we're just regular people, no PhDs,
- 29:09nothing but this affects us because
- 29:11some of us like hannah has been through it and
- 29:15me as a stepdad seen it so
- 29:19it does it it brings up big emotions and
- 29:23we need to do something about it and since we have a podcast gives us a small
- 29:27platform hannah and i both have voices and we're going to use them i will not
- 29:32stop using my voice for that little girl absolutely i will not i will continue
- 29:36to Just scream her name until justice is served for her because that's what
- 29:39she deserves. That's what her family deserves.
- 29:42Yeah. A little bit of closure, something, anything.
- 29:45She definitely needs it. The
- 29:47family needs it. She was a beautiful young girl and it reminds me of me.
- 29:52And I think that's why it touches me so much is because I look at her and the
- 29:57first thing I thought of was she was so beautiful and that's why people hated her so much.
- 30:02Yeah. And that's the fucking problem with today's society. It is.
- 30:07And not only because we do, we look, oh, this person's too beautiful.
- 30:10Oh, this person's too ugly.
- 30:12There's never a medium. It's always hatred instead of just a natural, hey, how are you?
- 30:22What's your name? What's your hobbies?
- 30:24Simple stuff like that where we can actually communicate and learn.
- 30:29We have so much in common because we are all on the same planet.
- 30:32We all come from the same universe. We're all made up from the same dust. So, damn it, listen.
- 30:38Yes, there's bad people. We know who they are. We know when to stay away from certain people.
- 30:43But when we're in these settings and if you as a parent and you're raising a
- 30:46kid and a kid is in school, you don't have them make fun of people.
- 30:51You don't have them bully people. And even if they are a bully,
- 30:55it's not too late to turn it around and turn them around and guide them on the
- 30:59right path to being a kind human being.
- 31:02Life is too short to sit and be rude and judge other people.
- 31:06You live your life for your own purpose, and your own purpose should not be
- 31:10to harm other people mentally, because that's what words do,
- 31:14and it can turn physical. call can.
- 31:17And I'm hoping this reached somebody hopefully, um, that needs to hear it.
- 31:23But Hannah and I, we are going to continue speaking about this stuff.
- 31:28We're going to continue speaking out against bullying.
- 31:31We're going to champion this entire anti-suicide where we just want people to
- 31:36understand, to be happy with themselves.
- 31:39So again, if you need help immediately, then dial 911.
- 31:43If If you need help, dial 988, all right?
- 31:48And again, if you don't feel like talking to anybody and you'd rather chat.
- 31:52You can text 988. Yeah, you could text 988 as well, or you can chat 988lifeline.org, all right?
- 32:01And I'm going to make it a point to put it on our website. I'm not even going to give out our website.
- 32:05I'm going to use the name Aubrey Wyatt again in its place.
- 32:09And again, if you need help, try and get help now. now immediately before it gets too late.
- 32:16And from here on, like I said, Hannah and I will have certain episodes that
- 32:20are going to be dedicated to this.
- 32:21Hopefully we could get something together more on this entire Aubrey Wyatt.
- 32:26And we're going to team up with Chris Tell from Twisted Tales Podcast,
- 32:30where we can actually do an episode that dives a little bit more into it.
- 32:33Again, we're not doing it because it's a social media thing and it's all over
- 32:37and we want to be part of it.
- 32:39We just want to do it for Aubrey because that's... She doesn't have her voice anymore.
- 32:45And I think everybody else should stand up and actually...
- 32:49Use her name say her name her mom
- 32:52was silenced so she can't right her social media
- 32:55has been shut down and like i said we're not in a
- 32:58place to talk about it right now so we're just going to use aubrey wyatt as
- 33:03the name uh hopefully you do too use hashtags anywhere you know uh find us on
- 33:09facebook eye opener society uh i'll start using a hashtag a little bit more
- 33:13too as well in the the coming weeks and stay tuned for more.
- 33:17And like I say, it's going to be more uplifting from here on in.
- 33:20I hope Hannah and I, we can hopefully help more people. I know we have,
- 33:25and that's what makes me feel good.
- 33:27And that's why when you brought this to me, I thought this was perfect for us
- 33:30to again, maybe help and reach somebody that needs that help or hear something
- 33:36positive rather than nonsense.
- 33:40So with that, Hannah and I, we're going to sign off on this episode and we,
- 33:44will join you soon because the July is over.
- 33:48This is the last episode of Junker Eye. I know. That's insane. It's insane.
- 33:51We're going to be in 2025 in a blink. In a blink. So yeah, we got a whole month
- 33:55of August coming up. My birthday.
- 33:58Yeah. It's going to be Hannah's birthday.
- 34:00And then Hannah's actually going to be leaving the country at the end of the
- 34:03month. I am. So we're going to have to cram so much in.
- 34:06And just on a side note too, we've been trying to get, and again,
- 34:11reaching out to you, the audience.
- 34:13If you had a life changing event, something that absolutely changed your entire
- 34:22perspective in life, we want to hear the story.
- 34:25Our email is the eye opener society at gmail.com.
- 34:30And if you also had a near death experience, we want to hear your story too, as well.
- 34:37You can remain completely anonymous if you like, You do not have to come on
- 34:41the podcast, but we just really want this a little bit more background because
- 34:45we're planning on having some episodes in the future.
- 34:48We were trying to do it for this episode, but we did not get enough feedback.
- 34:52And I really think that Aubrey Wyatt is way more important.
- 34:56So that's why we change things up. So reach out to us, the eye opener society at gmail.com.
- 35:02Tell us your stories, either a life changing event or a near death experience.
- 35:08And with that, we hope to hear from you soon. See ya.
