- 1:23maybe it's some snack, like fruit, could be
- 1:25healthy or not, that's totally up to you.
- 1:27Hey, and if you have not visited Believe
- 1:29Me, Chief, don't forget to do that.

- 1:57Hey guys, incidentally, did you know that in
- 2:00just a couple days, which is actually going
- 2:02to be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, we'll be on
- 2:05the air with this show four years in
- 2:08a row.
- 2:09That means on January 1st, we'll start being
- 2:13on the air.
- 2:13That'll be our fifth year.
- 2:15That'll be series five.
- 2:16That's pretty cool, right?
- 2:16We've been a sequel here for a while.
- 2:18So again, really do appreciate all of you
- 2:20guys that either follow me.
- 2:22I appreciate all the stations that carry my
- 2:24program.
- 2:25Really very blessed for that.
- 2:27Again, this is the Daily Motivational Show.
- 2:30And I show where we unlock practical wisdom
- 2:33to elevate every area of your world and
- 2:36life.
- 2:37Hey, by the way, in case you didn't
- 2:38know, I'm John Seymour, a serial entrepreneur.
- 2:42Not only am I that, I'm an engineer.
- 2:43I'm a marketing specialist.
- 2:44I'm a video producer.
- 2:46I am a podcast host, coach, graduate student,
- 2:50and yes, a passionate lifelong learner.
- 2:52In case you guys are wondering, going back
- 2:54to my next master's, my PhD in artificial
- 2:57intelligence at Montclair State University.
- 3:00So again, it is so great to be
- 3:02with you.
- 3:02Just finished building my first AI robot, but
- 3:04enough about that here.
- 3:06So whether you're building your businesses, you're leading
- 3:10teams, or you're simply chasing a more inspired
- 3:13life, more meaningful, this show delivers the mindset
- 3:17shifts, the strategies, and the daily sparks you
- 3:20need to thrive in life.
- 3:21Now remember, this is not something that happens
- 3:23like that overnight.
- 3:25This is a gradual progression.
- 3:27So today or tonight, I'm diving into the
- 3:31Sunday Reset Your Home Energy with 30 game
- 3:35-changing ideas to transform your space, your mood,
- 3:38and your entire week ahead.
- 3:40Are you ready?
- 3:41Let's get started, okay?
- 3:43Our motivation for today, change the room, change
- 3:49the mood, change the week.
- 3:52Your home isn't just walls and furniture.
- 3:55It's the energetic foundation for everything you create.
- 4:00Now when it feels cluttered or stagnant, so
- 4:04does your mind and the momentum around it,
- 4:07surrounding.
- 4:08But a simple Sunday Reset, which I'll show
- 4:10you in a minute, can shift the energy
- 4:12instantaneously, setting you up for focus, peace, and
- 4:16productivity.
- 4:17Now these 30 ideas, or some people call
- 4:19them hacks, are quick and very doable and
- 4:22designed for real life.
- 4:24No, they won't overwhelm you, just results.
- 4:28Let's go ahead and reset together.
- 4:29You ready?
- 4:30Number one, clear one doom pile, that desk,
- 4:35that chair, or well, perhaps counter, that's been
- 4:40collecting chaos all week.
- 4:43Pick just one spot and spend five focused
- 4:46minutes sorting it.
- 4:48Watch how immediately your mind feels, well, lighter.
- 4:52Your decisions will be much sharper.
- 4:55As an engineer who's optimized countless systems, I
- 4:58know this physical order creates a mental type
- 5:02of strategy, that single cleared space becomes, well,
- 5:07your launch pad for the week.
- 5:09Proof that small wins compound into big momentum.
- 5:13Yes, you heard me.
- 5:15But again, the snowball doesn't catch its inertia
- 5:20immediately.
- 5:21It has to roll a little bit right
- 5:22before it becomes this treacherous snowball.
- 5:25Number two, open the windows for five minutes
- 5:27and take three deep breaths of fresh air.
- 5:31Let's take some breaths together.
- 5:33How we're going to do this is we're
- 5:34going to take a breath.
- 5:35We're going to go ahead and we're going
- 5:36to go ahead and inhale.
- 5:38We're going to do a four, two, six.
- 5:44We're going to go ahead and inhale for
- 5:45four, hold it for two, one, two, and
- 5:50exhale for six.
- 5:54One more time.
- 5:56Inhale for four, hold it for two, exhale
- 6:01for six.
- 6:05One more time.
- 6:06Inhale for four, hold it for two, and
- 6:10exhale for six.
- 6:14Don't you feel a little better?
- 6:14I know I do.
- 6:16All right.
- 6:16So, stale air traps stale energy, but the
- 6:20simple exchange floods your home with oxygen and
- 6:23possibility.
- 6:25Feel the shift.
- 6:27Nature's own reset button is free and instant.
- 6:31A lot different than the reset button on
- 6:32your PC that kind of jolts everything.
- 6:34This is an instant gentle reset.
- 6:37It doesn't disrupt things.
- 6:39It naturally causes them to restart.
- 6:42In my years as a engineer and video
- 6:44producer traveling studios worldwide, I've learned environments dictate
- 6:49creativity.
- 6:50Let the fresh air remind you that energy
- 6:52is always one breath away.
- 6:55Kind of like I get my insights to
- 6:57create things.
- 6:58I could be walking, I could just be
- 7:01out chilling, and I'll get an idea to
- 7:04create a reel.
- 7:05Number three, guys, play one upbeat song on
- 7:09your speakers and move around the room.
- 7:12Dance, stretch, or just sway your body.
- 7:15Music rewires your brain's rhythm in seconds, turning
- 7:19tension into flow.
- 7:20Don't overthink it.
- 7:21Just let the beat move you.
- 7:23As a podcast host whose energized audiences globally,
- 7:28I guarantee this motion meets your emotion.
- 7:31Your home deserves your movement, and your week
- 7:35will thank you for the vibration upgrade that
- 7:37you give it.
- 7:38So why is music so important?
- 7:40Let's think about something like the Yankees.
- 7:42Many of you guys are fans of sports,
- 7:44so I've always liked the Yankees, especially Derek
- 7:46Jeter.
- 7:47Just got back from Louisville, Kentucky several months
- 7:50ago and had an amazing trip, but I'm
- 7:51not going to get into that now.
- 7:52By the way, you can learn more about
- 7:53them by visiting BelieveMeAchieved.com and checking out
- 7:55one of my reels.
- 7:56What I wanted to tell you was that
- 7:58when the batters get up, like Derek Jeter,
- 8:02or it was a gold glove to share,
- 8:04or whoever it was, right, or still is
- 8:06today, they have the option of playing this
- 8:0915 or 20-second sound bite before they
- 8:13hit.
- 8:13It gets them into the groove to be
- 8:16in the mood to hit the ball well,
- 8:19right?
- 8:20So mood is all about sports, okay?
- 8:23Mood is all about life.
- 8:25Mood is all about success.
- 8:27We have to feel it first, and then
- 8:29we manifest it second.
- 8:30I know that sounds very oxymoronic, but trust
- 8:33me, there is a rhythm and a reason
- 8:35to that.
- 8:36Number four, swap TV for a 10-minute
- 8:39conversation after dinner.
- 8:41Ask someone a real question.
- 8:43No screens.
- 8:44Connection breeds life into spaces that feel, well,
- 8:48let's say flat.
- 8:49In my coaching practice, I've seen many people
- 8:53transform from this one shift alone.
- 8:56Your home energy thrives on voices, not volume.
- 9:01Make tonight the night real talk resets the
- 9:05room.
- 9:06Number five, guys, light a candle, not because
- 9:10the power went out because it didn't, or
- 9:12turn on a lamp you actually like.
- 9:16Warm, intentional light changes everything.
- 9:19So you can pretend that the power is
- 9:21out.
- 9:21I know I've done that before.
- 9:22You can pretend that the power is out
- 9:23and act as if there's no power and
- 9:26just light candles and play board games.
- 9:29Pretty cool, right?
- 9:31So harsh fluorescents, they drain us.
- 9:34They actually kind of abuse our energy.
- 9:37The soft glows invite a lot of warmth
- 9:40and creativity in our life.
- 9:43Pick a scent or a color that speaks
- 9:44to you.
- 9:45As a lifelong learner, optimizing my own spaces,
- 9:48this is non-negotiable.
- 9:50Light sets the tone.
- 9:52Let it signal to your subconscious, this is
- 9:55a place for peace and possibility.
- 9:57So at Milkerson University, I'm sure they have
- 9:59this at a lot of other colleges, we
- 10:00have something pretty cool here called a neurodivergent
- 10:02center.
- 10:03Now, I'm not neurodivergent, but I really enjoy
- 10:07studying in the neurodivergent center.
- 10:08So this is a very quiet place to
- 10:10have like maybe six or eight cubicles, really
- 10:12soft furniture.
- 10:15There's beanbags you can lay on the floor.
- 10:17There's different lights that you can adjust so
- 10:20you can really enjoy the mood of it.
- 10:23And they turn off the lights in the
- 10:24ceiling and there's even this air purifier.
- 10:26And it's very quiet and it's just so
- 10:29conducive to getting you to want to learn.
- 10:32So if we're not in the right mood,
- 10:34we can't learn.
- 10:35I'm just being honest with you.
- 10:37So why do you challenge yourself and wonder
- 10:41why you're not learning?
- 10:42Create the optimal learning environment for you.
- 10:46I like to play music.
- 10:48One of my favorites is to play, let's
- 10:52say this type of music where it's like
- 10:55jazz music.
- 10:56There's rain outside and there's some plates lightly
- 11:00clattering and some people low chatting.
- 11:03It's very tranquil and it really helps me
- 11:07want to relax and make me want to
- 11:10focus on my work.
- 11:11Number six, pick one corner and make it
- 11:14your calm zone.
- 11:15A chair, plant, or pillow set up just
- 11:18for you, kind of like Montgomery State University
- 11:20did with their neurodivergence room.
- 11:22No clutter is allowed here.
- 11:23This becomes your reset anchor.
- 11:26Anytime life speeds up, you can go here.
- 11:29From my serial entrepreneur days that I'm in,
- 11:31juggling deadlines, I know sacred spaces save sanity.
- 11:35Claim yours today.
- 11:37Your future self will retreat there weekly and
- 11:40I guarantee you it will thank you for
- 11:42doing this.
- 11:44Number seven, make the couch a no phone
- 11:47zone for 20 minutes.
- 11:49Can you do that?
- 11:49I know that's hard.
- 11:52A lot of my friends go out to
- 11:52dinner and whether they're just going out with
- 11:55friends or they're going on a date, they
- 11:57have their phone by them and they can't
- 12:00put the darn thing down to enjoy the
- 12:03company of the other person.
- 12:04Whether it's platonic or non-platonic, I mean,
- 12:07come on, gee, give the person like some
- 12:08respect, all right?
- 12:09Can you just turn the phone off?
- 12:11At least put it on vibe, all right?
- 12:15So again, no phone zone for 20 minutes.
- 12:17Can you stack them?
- 12:18Yes.
- 12:19Could you do two in a row?
- 12:20I know that sounds hard.
- 12:21Set a timer, be present.
- 12:24Let's work together to make a digital detox
- 12:27in your living room and rebuild your real
- 12:29connection.
- 12:30I know it sounds scary that you might
- 12:32not have that precious, oh my gosh, iPhone
- 12:34or Android or cell phone because you feel
- 12:36disconnected.
- 12:38You can reconnect with real people, real energy.
- 12:42I have produced videos in high pressure environments.
- 12:48Presence always wins.
- 12:50That's the key.
- 12:51Even people say, I got to have this,
- 12:52I got to have this.
- 12:53Even in the IT world, I get people
- 12:55that are stressed sometimes and you know what
- 12:57I do?
- 12:59I just listen to them.
- 13:01And I say, I understand that you are
- 13:04stressed right now.
- 13:05I understand this is a situation and I
- 13:07know it's frustrating and I'm going to do
- 13:10everything I can to make sure it's resolved.
- 13:13And if I can't do anything with you
- 13:14today, I'm going to get the manufacturer to
- 13:15replace it, but I'm going to resolve this,
- 13:17rest assured.
- 13:19And that puts it a little bit more
- 13:21about ease.
- 13:23Reclaim your couch as a human first haven
- 13:28and watch relationships and energy.
- 13:31Well, they'll soar.
- 13:33Number eight, put all the remotes in one
- 13:35basket.
- 13:36Do I have my remote?
- 13:37Yeah, I do.
- 13:37In one basket.
- 13:39It could be in your kitchen, a drawer,
- 13:42side table, if it's in a den, anywhere
- 13:45it's visible.
- 13:46Chaos and small things creates mental friction.
- 13:49Our brains do not like mental friction.
- 13:53They want things to flow like an ebb
- 13:55and a flow.
- 13:56You know my point, just like a river.
- 13:58Simplify the friction points as a marketing specialist,
- 14:02streamlining client funnels.
- 14:05This micro habit frees brainpower for bigger wins.
- 14:09Now, people that try to create these high
- 14:12pressure marketing funnels do succeed for a little
- 14:16while, but when they're too high pressure, they
- 14:19fail after a while because they're not soft,
- 14:23because they're not inviting.
- 14:38Number nine, change one thing on the wall.
- 14:42It could be a photo, it could be
- 14:44a quote or art that now.
- 14:48So, stale visuals, they steal the soul.
- 14:52Make it personal, guys.
- 14:54My graduate studies taught me and keep teaching
- 14:56me the environments shape our mindset.
- 14:59Curate yours intentionally.
- 15:01Most people never do.
- 15:02And I've said this before, if you plan
- 15:04to fail, okay, not planning is planning to
- 15:08fail.
- 15:09And so, failing to plan, you will fail.
- 15:11But if you plan, then you won't fail.
- 15:14But not planning is planning to fail.
- 15:15That single swap signals fresh chapters ahead of
- 15:19you.
- 15:20Number 10, do a five-minute group tidy
- 15:23with a timer and music.
- 15:25Everyone pitches in, no judgment.
- 15:27Shared action builds instant unity.
- 15:31I've coached teams through this.
- 15:34Homes feel alive when hands unite.
- 15:36Turn chores into cheer and your week starts,
- 15:39well, bonded.
- 15:41So, how does it work?
- 15:42Maybe you've got a mess at your desk.
- 15:45Maybe it's a very large mess in a
- 15:48large place in your office and you need
- 15:50a lot more than just one person.
- 15:52Well, you can come up with some music
- 15:53and you can make it a game of
- 15:55how you kind of toss things out to
- 15:56the garbage.
- 15:57You get the idea.
- 15:58And it gets the spirit moving and people
- 16:00are like, oh, yeah, why don't we do
- 16:00one of those cleanups?
- 16:01They're cool.
- 16:03Okay.
- 16:03It's just how you create the environment.
- 16:06Number 11, guys, start a win wall.
- 16:10Post small victories on a whiteboard or sticky
- 16:13notes.
- 16:15Made bed.
- 16:16Called mom.
- 16:18Crushed the workout.
- 16:19Aced the test.
- 16:21Visibility breeds gratitude.
- 16:23As an entrepreneur and serial entrepreneur celebrating many
- 16:26milestones you're so grateful for, this sustains momentum.
- 16:30Your walls now whisper success daily.
- 16:34That's cool.
- 16:35Number 12, guys, replace one complaint with one
- 16:38appreciation out loud.
- 16:41This kitchen's messy, but I'm grateful for meals
- 16:44that I can make here.
- 16:45Words reshape the energy.
- 16:48My podcasting journey proves spoken positivity rewires our
- 16:52reality.
- 16:52Now, not overnight, folks, but it does rewire
- 16:55our brains and then change our attitude.
- 16:58A great person once said if we change
- 17:00our thoughts, we'll change our mind.
- 17:05If we change our mind, we will, in
- 17:07fact, improve the quality of our lives.
- 17:08And that is what everybody wants, right?
- 17:10Become a better version of themselves.
- 17:12Speak life into your space tonight.
- 17:15And notice how it has changed for you.
- 17:18How it seems easier, lighter.
- 17:2113, knowing out loud what would make this
- 17:25week feel better.
- 17:26Say it out loud.
- 17:28Feel better home.
- 17:29Journal one answer.
- 17:30Collective vision aligns energy.
- 17:32Leadership coaching shows questions.
- 17:35Unlock innovation, even domestic calls.
- 17:40Your home evolves from this dialogue.
- 17:43Don't be scared about it.
- 17:45Just empower yourself.
- 17:47Be curious.
- 17:48Number 14, set a consistent bedtime reminder for
- 17:51tonight.
- 17:52Phone alarm, voice note, whatever works best for
- 17:55you.
- 17:56Sleep resets more than you know.
- 17:59As a graduate student, balancing loads, routines, building
- 18:03empires and schedules, honor rest.
- 18:08Your Monday brilliance depends on it.
- 18:10I know sometimes we push ourselves, especially with
- 18:12the holidays.
- 18:14And you have to realize that you've got
- 18:18to give yourself rest, especially when I'm on
- 18:19vacation now.
- 18:21I still do these shows for you guys.
- 18:24I know that it's important that I get
- 18:26my rest.
- 18:27So if I'm staying up or maybe I'm
- 18:30just trying to catch up from a lot
- 18:31of the grind when I was home, I'll
- 18:33sleep maybe till eight or nine o'clock.
- 18:36Tomorrow I happen to have a meeting.
- 18:38So I'll probably sleep right around to that
- 18:40time.
- 18:40And I'll maybe set an alarm on my
- 18:42phone to be like, I don't know, nine
- 18:4430 or something.
- 18:45But I've been naturally getting up around that
- 18:47time anyway.
- 18:48And I really appreciate those extra few minutes
- 18:51or half hour of sleep.
- 18:53Number 15, guys, prep one thing for tomorrow
- 18:56to kill morning chaos.
- 18:59Outfit, coffee, keys, foresight, freeze the mornings.
- 19:04Engineering precision taught me preparation prevents pressure.
- 19:09One act cascades into calmness.
- 19:12Number 16, start a tiny ritual Sunday night
- 19:16tea, walk or gain five minutes of joy,
- 19:20anchors, rituals, build belongingness.
- 19:23My lifelong learning thrives on them.
- 19:26Yours, ladies and gentlemen, can begin now.
- 19:28What are you waiting for?
- 19:29Start one as soon as this show is
- 19:31over.
- 19:32Number 17, put all the chargers in one
- 19:35visible spot.
- 19:36No more hunting for them.
- 19:37Friction kills the flow, right?
- 19:39Our body wants the ebb and the flow,
- 19:42just like the rivers, the ebb and the
- 19:43flow.

- 21:33Number 22 guys, line up shoes neatly by

- 21:52Number 23, agree on one quiet hour, but
- 21:55there'll be no loud TV, no drama.
- 21:58I know when I was in my dorms,
- 22:00we had every week, we had one hour
- 22:04every day of no, um, no noise.
- 22:10Um, it was a study time and basically
- 22:13it was some eight to nine every single
- 22:16night and except for weekends and except it
- 22:19was exam time that it would be more,

- 22:23headphones on and no music was allowed.
- 22:26Okay.
- 22:27Just because they want to be fair.
- 22:29I mean, I think it would have been
- 22:29okay to put ambient music, but that might
- 22:31be not conducive to some people.
- 22:33I mean, I think ambient music works for
- 22:35everybody, but there are some people that don't
- 22:37like any music.
- 22:38They just kind of get distracted by it.
- 22:40So see, it works for you.
- 22:42Sacred silence recharges you and you'd never believe
- 22:46why podcast silence between words builds power extended
- 22:53home guys.

- 23:25in your mouth.
- 23:25It's the stuff that you put into your
- 23:27brain, right?
- 23:28That's important.
- 23:30What we digest mentally, uh, whether that's our
- 23:33eyes, our ears, number 25 guys pick one
- 23:38phrase for the week.

- 23:58Again, even though the message might not have
- 24:00been for that person, it's still going to
- 24:02empower them.
- 24:04A great way to do this is put
- 24:06a message like that on your bedpost, put
- 24:07one on your mirror.
- 24:08And when you go there or your partner
- 24:10goes there and they see like, wow, it's

- 25:00words.
- 25:00It works in pictures.
- 25:02So when we create, um, let's see an
- 25:05affirmation, it's important that it's not just words,

- 27:18do one.
- 27:18I'd rather you do one for 30 days
